I don't like them, whatever.
And by the way, most of the staff, when I went, they were pretty cool and it was fun.
But I'd heard that.
I'm like, oh, I'm sorry.
There's nothing I can really do.
I can't fix your staff problem.
It was only a couple.
It was only a couple.
And it wasn't like a big protest or anything.
It was only a couple that didn't want to work there.
There weren't dozens of them?
No.
I mean, they did employ quite a few LGBT types.
But I think it's common in the service industry.
Yeah.
You know, that's kind of a...
Let me ask you this.
When you get hecklers, or...
Is it usually a man or a woman?
Usually a woman.
That's what my students do.
But usually a woman.
I'd say 70 plus percent.
And a guy, here's the thing, there's a difference between...
So a woman does it, and I go, alright, yeah, shut up, or whatever.
Or I make a clever joke, and she doesn't get it.
I make the clever joke, everyone's laughing at my clever joke, she thinks that we're laughing with, or whatever, but we all know we're laughing at you.
But she doesn't get it.
The guy, make a clever quip, the whole crowd laughs, the guy knows, ah, shit.
Yeah, exactly.
He either knows, I got to, all right, I...
Or, oh, fuck this guy.
I'm gonna fight him.
Yeah, no, exactly.
It's usually not the second one, but the women, they just don't get that they're losing this.
I think that comes from male interactions, right?
If you're around a bunch of guys...
I'll say that.
So it's almost always paired with alcohol.
And maybe they're not drinking as much as the men they're with are.
Remember, we had that in Nashville at the second show that went late and she was in.
You were there, told me.
And you're just like, you gotta, and to the point where you give him one out, she wouldn't take it.
And I think that comes from male interactions, where if you're in a group of guy friends, and a guy says something, and you come back with a quip, and he sees everyone laugh, he's like, okay, that means they're not on my side with this.
They thought he got the better of it, and better luck next time.
Whereas with women, I don't know that women bust balls.
Well, I know they don't bust balls the same way that guys do.
So it's like they're not used to this interaction.
It's like, you look stupid.
People have paid for a ticket.
They have a sitter.
They're not here to hear you.
Stop.
But, yeah.
All right.
Next chat.
All right.
Next chat from Carnal Nature.
How do you see conservatives who are not Christian?
Do you assume they are synonymous or do you allow people who are nons aligning with ideological right?
Oh, no, of course.
And by the way, there's no allowing.
You guys make your own decisions.
I think it's...
I do think that you more often run into a logically untenable position.
Like I was just listening to Pierce Morgan and he was talking with these, And some trans pickleball player.
Weird phrase Come out of my mouth And And The trans pillow player They're a trans person playing pickleball?
Yeah.
Or it's a trans pickle...
I understand.
I made the same mistake.
Okay.
Yeah, no, trans pick- And Piers Morgan was saying, like, well, I've always said that you can do whatever in your own personal life, you can do whatever you want, but we're talking about competing against women.
That's not a logically tenable position.
If you say you can do whatever you want, it's your own choice, you're not acknowledging that that choice affects all of society there at that point.
It doesn't mean that you assault them, it doesn't mean that you denigrate them, but you have to be able to start with, no, you can ask me to call you by your name, but you are a man.
You have to start with that.
And then he got kind of tied up with, like, well, we have two biological males and two biological females on this panel, and one identifies as Tran, and that's okay, and kept getting twisted in pretzels, just say, man, woman.
Now, as Christians, you know, we have a foundational worldview where we can say, this is why.
And so I do see a lot of atheists out there who are sort of...
And I do appreciate them, by the way.
And, of course, I want you under the umbrella.
I think sometimes you might find yourself in a position where it's harder to argue because it's not from the same place of authority.
But, of course, welcome.
We appreciate it.
And, by the way, there's a good chance that if you're an atheist conservative today, you'll be a God-fearing conservative in a decade.
Yeah.
I have no problem with that.
It's a good economy, too.
Yeah.
You can want lower taxes and you can want a strong border.
Absolutely.
And we appreciate you being here.
Okay, last chat.
The trans player's logic was, how can I be a pickleball player without a pickleball?
Well, I don't know.
I think they still do the pickleball.
Most people don't go through with it.
Most people do not.
Bunch of phonies.
Yep.
Bunch of phonies.
Grow some balls and cut them off.
Big, fat phony.
Final chat from Blakeney1794.
Isn't empathy more about empathizing with everyone who is affected?
If we have empathy for illegals being deported, but also for Rachel Morin's kids, don't we have more empathy?
Who's Rachel Morin?
Rachel Morin had a child who was killed, right?
Wasn't it one of the Morins?
There was Lake and Riley and wasn't Morin?
Oh, she was, okay.
If I'm not mistaken, the mom of five who is...
Rachel Lauren was murdered.
What about those kids?
Mom and dad didn't get deported.
Mom's dead.
And forgive me for not being able to keep track because there have been so many.
There really have.
And yes, and this is the thing.
Empathy is a great human quality.
It really is.
I was thinking about this the other day.
There's a big difference between empathy and sympathy.
Yes.
And I think those two get confused a lot.
Yeah.
Empathizing means...
Yeah.
Yourself.
It's like when they say a sociopath can't feel empathy, but they can feel sympathy.
Right.
Yeah, you can empathize with somebody and still make a decision that they won't like.
In other words, I can empathize with my...
Prick.
You're going to understand why.
If you introduce my kids to those Nestle drumsticks.
Oh, and, uh, We ran out.
And we had, like, a healthier version, an alternative.
And my daughter didn't like the healthy alternative.
Was it real ice cream?
It's not a drumstick.
No, the drumstick is not ice cream.
But, and she, we just didn't have them.
And she was freaking out because it was dessert.
And I'm like, and I could emphasize where I'm like, okay, I understand because that's what you wanted and you were looking forward to it.
it doesn't change the fact that it's not good for you and you're not going to be eating nothing but Nestle drumsticks.
Like, I get it, because to that child, It would be like...
Yeah.
It would be like if it's your anniversary and your missus is like, I'm going to put on an outfit and thing that you want to do.
We're going to do it.
And then you show up and she's just like, actually, we're going to watch rom-coms and eat popcorn.
You're like, no!
Right?
Just that's how important it is to you.
It's like everything is being taken from me.
Now, that doesn't mean that I'm going to make the decision to run out and get the drumsticks that I don't have because I'm doing the right thing, which is you can have them occasionally, but not that often.
So empathy doesn't mean that it is the final, it has a final say in your decision making.
And the left really loves to do this trick, where they go, see what's in front of you, and they block everything else out.
And go, empathy.
Like, here, I don't know if I've, like, it's like, okay, look, right here, I'll try and do it with the camera.
Let's see, let's see how close.
There you go.
Look at this.
Look at this.
Oh wait, someone's going to say Illuminati.
Uh-oh.
Look at this.
Look at this.
Empathize with this.
Do you see this?
Do you see this right now?
People being deported.
And you're like, oh yeah, well of course you feel bad for that.
But you don't see Rachel Morin, and you don't see Lake and Riley, and you don't see the 400 plus billion dollars the taxpayers have to foot with people, by the way, who are struggling to get by, whose businesses have been shut down from other policies, right, that have been implemented from the left.
Also in the name of empathy.
Do you want my neighbor to die?
That's why we have to shut everything down.
That's why we have to socially distance.
They do this trick where they just block everything out and go, empathy here!
And it's completely inconsistent and untenable.
Because if you're just applying empathy in the short term to what is put in front of you, you are losing the big picture.
And you are, as I have said, you are creating real victims.
Look, this girl wants to get into Harvard.
Sure, sure, sure, I get it.
But there's the Asian kid.
Who really deserved to get in there?
Like, I don't know why we should have empathy for an overweight young woman who had abysmal SAT scores and not the kid who no doubt was experiencing likely child abuse with a tiger mom who never, I mean, probably never had a drink, never went to a party.
No girlfriend, for sure.
Probably no girlfriend was socially awkward, was just study, study, because this was his life's plan, and he put everything he had into it, and most importantly, he deserved it.
Now, take that and apply it to, at this point, I'm willing to bet hundreds of thousands of people who didn't get their opportunity that they had earned, because we were empathizing with the person thrust in front of us.
And that's why you see the victim classes get more and more absurd, where it was like, hey!
Women are oppressed.
And people are like, okay, I guess.
Okay, they didn't have the vote and stuff.
And it's like, hey, now, in the 1980s, black people, well, okay, civil rights, okay.
It's like, hey, gay marriage.
All right, I mean, I guess we're comparing it to interracial marriage.
Well, it's not really the same thing, but okay.
And they're like, yeah, trans.
Wait a second.
I guess if you're not hurting anybody.
And trans in sports.
Wait a second.
But then, hold on a second, if we do that, then you're going to have women who are, well, we would solve this problem if you put them on puberty blockers so they wouldn't have a biological advantage.
How young?
That's the problem with identity politics.
It's why you cannot be governed by empathy.
Empathy is an advisor on your board.
It is not the final decision maker.
If you allow empathy to dictate, Every decision, every action that you make, I'll tell you exactly what you end up with.
You end up with COVID lockdowns.
You end up with the Affordable Care Act.
You end up with a completely unsustainable debt.
The debt deficit is a perfect example.
It's empathy for this and this and this, but at a certain point, yeah, yeah, yeah, but what about where's the money coming from?
You end up with biological men and women's sports.
You end up with 10,000 to 15,000 third trimester abortions every single year.
No empathy for that baby that can feel pain and has a central nervous system developed.
If you are tricked by the what is thrust right in front of you, have empathy and make a decision now.
It's almost like the trick that you get used car salesmen playing, right?
Where they go, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, hold on a second.
We have this trans person right in front of you.
We got this Buick Skylark in front of you.
You know what?
I'm going to take 20% off, but you have to give me an answer right now.
Hey, are you an empathetic person?
Give me an answer right now.
Hold on a second.
I have to take everything into the equation.
No, no, no, no.
Give me the empathy answer right now.
Okay, let him compete in women's sports.
Hey, what about this woman who, by the way, could be rape or it could be incest?
Hold on a second.
That's like, what, less than 1% of abortion?
No, no, no.
We have to have a decision right now.
Okay, late-term abortion.
Hey, right now, right now.
You know what?
I'm willing to right now.
I'm willing to make a deal with you right now.
Okay, right now, but it's going once, going twice.
Right now, we have to shut down the economy, social distance.
Don't you have empathy?
Look, you're going to kill your neighbor.
Everyone's gonna die from this, right?
We're gonna see two million people dead in the first, Let me make a decision.
And then at a certain point you go, oh, I just didn't do what we should always be doing.
With every major decision, which is take a moment, sit, and think.
Think.
Don't just be governed by empathy.
Because ultimately, you create real victims and you leave carnage in your wake.
