ADL Admits it Doesn’t Know What It’s Been Fighting

Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance.
The Internet is trying to make my videos impossible to find.
So, if you like what you see, I hope you'll send the link to all of your Democrat friends.
The Anti-Defamation League, or ADL, was founded in 1913 to fight anti-Semitism and racism.
But after battling racism for 109 years, it just admitted that it doesn't even know what racism is.
It wants the public to help it figure it out.
The ADL has an $80 million budget, headquarters in New York City, 25 regional offices, and a bureau in Israel.
Since 1970, it has been telling the FBI who's a hate group and who's not.
So I think it's about time the ADL figured out what it's fighting.
According to the Wayback Machine, until 2020, this was the ADL's definition of racism.
The belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person's social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics.
This sounds like two separate definitions to me, one about superior races and another one about biology.
Apparently, the ADL used this definition for some time, even though the classic example of racism, calling a black person the N-word, Isn't even included.
You don't have to believe anything about race or biology to call someone the N-word.
It's a way to insult someone.
Sometime in the summer of 2020, at the height of the George Floyd riots, the ADL got a new definition of racism.
The marginalization and or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.
So now it was clear.
It had to do with being bad only to people who aren't white.
Why the ADL didn't leave it at that, I don't know.
But it said you couldn't have racism without a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.
Well, that means if the Chinese decided to deport all the black people in China, that wouldn't be racism, because it wouldn't be part of a racial hierarchy that privileges white people.
Expelling blacks would privilege Chinese, not whites.
And if a black man sets out to kill every white person he finds, that's not racism, because only non-whites can be victims of racism.
Earlier this month, the ADL changed its definition again.
But it's so unsure of itself, it calls this an interim definition.
Racism occurs when individuals or institutions show more favorable evaluation or treatment of an individual or group based on race or ethnicity.
This is idiotic.
If the Polish American Club recruits Polish Americans, it's racist.
And the Black Congressional Caucus is racist because only Blacks can join.
Same for the Hispanic Caucus.
Koreans, to join their Korean churches, that's racism too.
Why are chief diversity officers almost always black?
So they will work really hard making sure other black people get special treatment.
What about stopping gentrification?
Some non-white group doesn't want whites moving in.
They prefer to live with their own people.
And I thought racism was supposed to be all about hate.
Where's the hate?
In preferring your own kind.
If a black calls a Mexican a beaner, I don't see that as preference for blacks.
So it can't be racism.
And the whole state of Israel is racist.
You can't immigrate unless you're Jewish.
And Israel can't skip out of the ADL definition of racism by saying Jewishness is a religion and not a race or ethnicity.
Albert Einstein was an atheist.
But no one ever said he wasn't Jewish.
The ADL says Israel must remain Jewish.
Preference for Jews.
So by its own definition, Israel is a racist country.
The ADL's boss is Jonathan Greenblatt, and he's got a page called Getting It Right in Defining Racism.
Yes, since the ADL is supposed to be fighting this terrible scourge, they ought to know what they're fighting.
Well, Mr. Greenblatt, He says he had to ask an outside expert at Harvard to come up with its latest bonehead definition, but even that wasn't good enough.
And so he says, we are going to open ourselves to comments on our new definition of racism from the public.
You can write to Jonathan and set him straight.
The ADL pays him nearly a million dollars a year, but he needs your help to figure out what racism is.
I'd just tell him, Jonathan Darling, give up.
Racism is clearly a meaningless word.
Now, all this comes at a baffling time.
You may have heard earlier this month, ABC suspends Whoopi Goldberg over Holocaust comments.
She said that Germans killing Jews wasn't about race.
It was man's inhumanity to man, in which one group of whites persecuted another group of whites.
Michael Rappaport, who I guess is supposed to be someone who knows, says it was fucking all about, only about race.
Apparently, it's a hanging offense to think Jews are white and that the problem was anti-Semitism rather than racism.
But why wouldn't Whoopi, who is black, think Jonathan Greenblatt is anything but white?
Is Whoopi supposed to see someone like Lauren Bacall, who was Jewish, and say, nope, not white?
It's all the more baffling, because the ADL itself talks about Jews and Jews of color.
Here's an ADL press release from just a few weeks ago.
Fellowship offers Jews of color opportunity to share their stories.
The release goes on to explain that this fellowship seeks to expand awareness and understanding of how anti-Semitism and racism overlap and intersect in ways that are uniquely harmful to Jews of color.
Now, maybe this is just too much for my feeble white Gentile brain, but if there are Jews of color, doesn't that mean there are Jews not of color and therefore white?
Overlap and intersect, doesn't it mean that they aren't the same thing?
Aren't they saying there's anti-Semitism for Jews and racism for BIPOCs?
So where did Whoopi go wrong?
She has apologized and promised never to call Jews white again.
So I guess that's settled, even if I'm baffled.
Or, and wouldn't this be awful, maybe the ADL is just as confused about anti-Semitism as it is about racism.
If Jews really aren't white, they don't have white privilege.
When the call goes out for more diversity, as it always does, they can raise their hands and say,"Me too!" It means they are off the hook for all the awful things that white people have done ever since they were white people.
What a deal!
What an incredible deal!
