	I just sent you a text message so you can read that off air while I introduce the stories of the day.
	Here we go.
	The big story today was supposed to be Kash Patel sitting for his Senate confirmation hearing.
	In Washington, D.C., this most likely would have been the topic on, basically a topic covered by every news channel in the country.
	It would have been the biggest story of the day by far.
	And some of the topics that would have surely come up would have been the government gangsters that Cash Patel has identified those corrupt actors working within the government who will be targeted by the FBI once he takes control of it.
	The QAnon conspiracy theory surely would have come up at some point, given it's been mentioned in previous confirmation hearings, particularly with regard to Kash Patel's involvement.
	And a number of other stories would have come up that most assuredly they did not want you to talk about today, because last night...
	At approximately 10 p.m.
	Eastern Time, sometime in that realm, there was a plane crash in Washington, D.C., where an American Airlines flight from Wichita, Kansas, heading to D.C., collided with a military helicopter over the Potomac River.
	The helicopter...
	was identified as a Black Hawk military helicopter.
	People have speculated it was a PAT-25, which is part of the U.S. Army Priority Air Transport Battalion, which is normally used to transfer VIP military officials.
	There were 60 passengers on board the commercial flight from American Airlines heading out of Out of Wichita, Kansas into Washington, D.C., Reagan International Airport.
	The latest report is that there are no known survivors at this time from that flight.
	Among the casualties of the American Airlines flight, several members, coaches, family members of the U.S. figure skating team, which was participating in a A championship event in Wichita,
	Kansas over the last week, and they were flying back to D.C. along with a couple of Russian figure skating champions among the dead or thought to be dead on board the American Airlines flight.
	First of all, we want to say, obviously, thoughts and prayers to the family of the victims.
	It's a tragic, horrific loss, and it will be something that they will surely have to deal with over the coming days, weeks, months, and years.
	And the human toll is very large, 60 people dead.
	And that's not including what could have been on this Blackhawk helicopter, which at this point we have no real information on.
	Officials have been pretty quiet on that.
	I haven't heard any official reports as to who was on the helicopter and where even the helicopter was coming from or where it was going.
	It seems as though it was landing at Reagan International Airport, but we don't know where it took off from.
	There are conflicting reports.
	Some reports seem to indicate one thing, while others report another.
	For instance...
	What reports we have so far seem to indicate that there are three possible locations for where the helicopter took off from.
	One is a residential address in McLean, Virginia, which seems to be the location of the Saudi Royal Embassy.
	That is 811 Lawton Street, McLean, Virginia.
	Another location for its possible takeoff was Somewhere very close to the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
	And yet another and most likely place for the helicopter to have taken off from was Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
	Fort Belvoir is a military base, a U.S. Army installation.
	It serves as headquarters for various military commands and agencies.
	There's defense intelligence agencies there, including the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency are located at that base, along with the Army Material Command, as well as engineering.
	The U.S. Army Engineer School is located there, which is a part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
	Historical significance of the fort is that it was established in 1917 as an anti-aircraft for Camp AA Humphreys.
	It was richly tied to World War I, World War II, and subsequent military engagements.
	That's basically all we have.
	They also, within that establishment at Fort Belvoir, there's the U.S. Army Cyber Command.
	It's become the Army's central cybersecurity and network operational place of operations where they operate from.
	So that's what we know up to this point about this helicopter.
	It was a Blackhawk.
	It was flying at night.
	As I said before, the specifics of it, you know, we can go through that in a minute, but it was flying at night, and it hit this plane as the plane was descending to land at Reagan International Airport.
	They seem to have collided.
	President Trump even going as far as to issue a statement on this matter, saying, quote, In a true social post, he says, This is a
	bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented.
	Not good.
	That's the official statement from Donald J. Trump.
	And boy, oh boy, are there theories bouncing around online about what this really could have been because, folks, at this point, I think one thing you know you're going to get here with us is a ton of investigative research on what this could be about because we all know this isn't just another accident.
	As I pointed out before, If nothing else, this will completely suck the air out of the narratives that would have been pushed into the media, forced into the media's coverage regarding Kash Patel's confirmation hearing with the Senate.
	We all know who Kash Patel is going to put his line of sight on when he gets into his position, which are the deep state criminals who went after Trump and the American people.
	If nothing else, this story will be covered wall-to-wall today, and you will hear little to nothing about Cash Patel's Senate confirmation hearing.
	You can bet your bottom dollar on that.

	And Nick, we haven't even had a chance for you to chime in yet because I've just been delivering some of the information.
	I want to get real quick this clip up, and then we'll let you comment on it, because I know you have a lot to say as well.
	But this is what's being reported right now, officially no survivors from the plane crash in D.C. We are now at a point where we are switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation.
	At this point, we don't believe there are any survivors from this accident.
	And we have recovered 27 people from the plane and one from the helicopter.
	The District Office of the Medical Examiner has lead on reuniting these bodies and these people with their loved ones, and we will continue to work to find all the bodies and collect them and reunite them with their loved ones.
	We should also acknowledge that the Virginia Medical Examiner and the Army Medical Examiner are involved in this operation and a very important part of getting people identified.
	So that's the latest.
	That's the latest.
	There are no survivors being reported.
	27 bodies have been recovered from the plane itself, the American Airlines flight.
	And then it was a regional jet with approximately 60 people on board.
	And the Blackhawk, they've recovered one body, which we don't know how many people were on board.
	Nobody's really reported that.

	I have so many things that we can get into, so many different threads that we were talking about.
	We had a long pre-meeting this morning about all this, so we've tugged on a bunch of different threads, and we can go a number of different directions.
	I have all the source material to kind of bring up and reference, but general thoughts on this so far?
	It is really clear that the crash was on purpose.
	If you look at the flight path, you can see where they actually, the helicopter veers, thinking it's going to cross paths, but it was too early.
	Then it did it again because it's a little too early.
	And then did it one more time where they actually did cross.
	So at first I thought it was maybe AI that was controlling it remotely, but now it's pretty clear that it's...
	...if not the pilot.
	It's just really weird with everything involved.
	You got, you know, the manufacturer or the build-out maker of that aircraft.
	Was it Lockheed Martin, right?
	Which aircraft?
	The one that's the HH-60.
	The helicopter was, yeah, I think, I mean, the Blackhawk, I think that's, Lockheed Martin makes those, yeah.
	There's a lot going on with this.
	I think in the next couple days we're going to see, That it's actually related to a lot of different things that seemingly are unrelated right now.
	Well, one of the things people are talking about here, which is one of the things we talked about earlier, was this GPS, the drone capability, the Blackhawk.
	So Lockheed Martin has demonstrated that they have the capability now, and this was recently demonstrated in Washington, D.C., months ago.
	They have the capability to remote control these Blackhawk helicopters.
	I'm going to play a quick clip, and it should explain exactly that here.
	Let's listen.
	This is a Black Hawk helicopter that is flying itself at the USA, USA National Convention.
	A Sikorsky flight field, exactly the same place where this flight may have come from.
	U.S. Army, you've got a firsthand look at the future technology.
	We're working hand-in-hand with the Army to modernize Black Hawk, to incorporate new technology, new capabilities to create the Black Hawk of the future.
	And one critical technology of all these things is autonomy.
	And that brings me here today.
	Are we really going to fly this optimally pilot autonomous Black Hawk?
	Connecticut from 300 miles away right here in Washington, D.C., and the answer is a resounding yes, we're going to.
	So this is the video.
	You see the aircraft come up to a stabilized hover, and this is going to simulate tested logistics operations where we would have a ground crew hooking up a swing load to the aircraft.
	And this aircraft is holding position or more completely well.
	So this is interesting because this is called their Matrix Flight Autonomy System, and And in this video, obviously, they're flying a Black Hawk helicopter remotely from Connecticut to Washington, D.C. And people have looked into this and said, wow, that's interesting that,
	you know, that can be done with a helicopter, Nick.
	You are in the Air Force.
	You have more experience with this than most.
	What are your thoughts on that?
	Lockheed Martin makes...
	they were ordered to by the government years ago, 10 years, like a very long time ago, basically whenever they first started making common operational pictures to be able to see the entire area.
	For example, they would use a picture and then put through all the FAA data and then filter out only the military aircraft to be showing and so on.
	And Lockheed Martin helped develop that.
	And what they've done recently is they lost the contract to continue to provide that for the government.
	And the government explicitly said that they get to keep the code from making that.
	And then they refused with their lawyers to provide that to the United States for another contractor that has taken over the responsibility to provide that picture.
	So to me, they have a means, motive, and opportunity to cause something like that to happen.
	Oh, sorry.
	Oh, yeah, the drone laws just changed so that there's no geofencing and you can move drones wherever you want to.
	Oh, that was totally an accident because we just changed.
	Oh, sorry.
	Sorry.
	That's trash, dude.
	Yeah, one among many theories floating around out there.
	It's just an interesting thought to go down the rabbit hole with and look at the Matrix flight autonomy system, which was just unveiled by Lockheed Martin, which would be used in primarily Black Hawk helicopters, is now seemingly, coincidentally, just happening before.
	This helicopter crash takes place.
	That's just one theory among many.
	I personally can tell you that if I was trusting my gut, my first thinking of suspicion is exactly what I said earlier, that this may have more to do with the Cash Patel hearings than people understand.
	Given the fact that what he's going to be uncovering and what he will be doing as FBI director and what he's going to be How he will be responding is something they don't want to be covered by the press.
	So we had a couple of texters.
	Let's see what everybody's texting in.
	Somebody from the 858 says, The deep state, the globalists, they are not going down quietly.
	They're going to pull out all stops to maintain power, keep all citizens from our country and others in the dark, blind, and dumb down.

	Yeah, that was the first thought, and then I started looking at some of the other information coming out about this.
	So, to go down some of the other rabbit holes with this real quick, there is also the storyline of where did this helicopter come from.
	The prevailing storyline that we're hearing as of now is that the helicopter itself took off from Fort Belvoir, which would make sense, and that that is its location of origin.
	But, for some reason or the other, there are conflicting reports about this, where I spoke before and said that there are some reports that say this may have taken off from Somewhere near CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and other reports that seem to say that it took off from this residential address in McLean,
	Virginia, which I think is also close to Langley, but that location, the address that people have been floating online, belongs to the Saudi Royal Embassy, which...
	If you're wondering what do the Saudis have to do with it, well, first thing I would look at is, of course, 9-11, right?
	We can look back to the Saudis there, but I don't know that that has much to do with this other than what I was saying before, which is that this address in McLean, Virginia, which is 10 miles west of the collision site, is location of a $5 million mansion, which is also supposedly the Royal Saudi Embassy.
	Or at least one of their cultural establishment, their cultural embassy.
	I don't know how you put that.
	But they're saying that that is possibly where it came from, which, again, this ties back into what we said about the initial reports, which seem to claim that this was a...
	Let me see if I can pull this up here real quick because I want to make sure I cover this correctly, get the information exactly right because I don't want to give you guys bum information.
	The report was initially that the plane itself was a PAT-25, which was a U.S. Army Priority Air Transport Battalion flight, which of course was used by VIP military officials, which means that this flight could have been carrying individuals on it who...
	We're VIPs being transported from, perhaps, Langley, Virginia, perhaps.
	And when we say VIPs, Nick, of course, right, we're not talking about, it doesn't necessarily have to be the, you know, Amir of Abu Dhabi or whatever.
	It could be, VIP could mean, you know, high-level prisoner transport, anything, right?
	Yeah, it could be a lot of things like that.
	And I just really hope that Cash or someone else, and hopefully Ben Salmon wasn't around for all this.
	I don't think so.
	And it says the cultural group, they've got diplomatic immunity no matter what they're doing.
	If they're operating in the United States, they're renting a house, diplomatic immunity in that house, diplomatic immunity in the limousine.
	So whatever is going on, I think in my mind...
	This is just on that thread alone.
	With the cultural group, that Saudi person is involved with that, that leads me to the State Department, because the State Department works with other countries outside the United States for cultural stuff.
	What have they been working on?
	DEI stuff.
	Making sure everybody's got trainees in their country.
	All that sort of stuff.
	Maybe that dark money that's getting laundered that Dodge is hunting down is going to stuff like this.
	That's where the real money is going, not to tranny surgeries, but for these ops.
	And then, not to mention the fact that, you know, you talk about Saudi Arabia, then you have to talk about 9-11, and you have to talk then about Kash Patel, because he's been very vocal about what he wants to do with declassifying documents.
	Related to 9-11, he says that there are seven pages of part of a report that have not been declassified that he thinks the public should see and have access to to understand what happened on that day better.
	Now, will he release the documents that show that, you know, it was an inside job orchestrated by our own government?
	I highly doubt it, but there will probably be some more revelations, you know, pertaining to Saudi Arabia's involvement or other national countries' involvement or operations being undertaken by our government that, you know, were to, you know, intercede in foreign government activities which may have backfired or gone wrong, quote-unquote, right, which they'll point to as they did with, like...
	When they go and they, you know, groom these shooters and then, you know, they're surprised when the shooter goes and kills a bunch of people.
	Well, he was on our radar.
	We were chatting him up with undercover informants and, you know, we were teaching him how to, you know, build pipe bombs and how to find and how to build his own, you know, body armor.
	And then, but we were just doing it so we could catch him, you know, right before he did it and intercede.
	But then he got away from us, and then he went and killed all these people.
	Is it that kind of scenario with 9-11 where that's how they'll, you know, declassify it to say, oh, well, you know, we were monitoring and engaged with these terrorists, and then they went and did it.
	I don't know.
	I don't know.
	But we digress.

	And we're talking about this plane crash that happened in D.C., Reagan International Airport, an American Airlines flight carrying 60 passengers from Wichita, Kansas, crashed into a Black Hawk military helicopter last night, killing all aboard, it seems.
	On both planes, both aircraft.
	And Nick, I found this thread that's absolutely wild.
	And it has to do with the Super Bowl.
	And I know you, we talked about this in the pre-meeting, and we weren't sure if we were going to go this route, so I want to be careful that we don't go into some directions that are difficult to verify at the moment.
	But I found something, I just sent it to you over on...
	On X, Nick, I just sent you a message.
	And read that while I read this, because this is absolutely wild.
	Okay, so people are pointing out on social media that the airplane that crashed in D.C., Reg International, was an American Eagle jet.
	Regional jet.
	That's the name of the plane itself.
	They're called American Eagles because that's the type of regional jet that they fly for American Airlines.
	The plane that was traveling came from Kansas.
	Not Kansas City, but Kansas.
	Of course, we know that the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are playing in the Super Bowl.
	This next coming week.
	I don't know if it's this Sunday or next Sunday or when it is.
	I don't know.
	Whenever the Super Bowl is, right?
	They point out that it was landing on runway 33, which we know 33, the 33rd degree Masons.
	33 is well known in the sort of occult, esoteric, numerology people's realms of understandings, right?
	Now, this is where it gets really crazy, okay?
	So the person who's pointing this out is an account over on X that's called 17 Absolute Redux 76. That's not really that important.
	But what is important is that the Eagles, the Philadelphia Eagles, that is, three days ago, put out a tweet of a helicopter.
	That is like kind of built, they built a helicopter using kind of, you know, when you build one using space bar and different, you know, like dashes and stuff.
	You know how you do that with social media.
	I can't really describe it, but they did it using like letters and stuff.
	Well, it basically just says Go Birds.
	Okay, no big deal.
	That's not even remotely connected to any of this, right?
	Well, this is where it gets really strange, because somebody pointed out that, what, three days ago, on January 27th, 2025, there's a post, which I will repost right now to my X account so that you all can go see it.
	I'm at JustInformed, the number one, right, where...
	Somebody named Ultramaga Dean Erickson over on Twitter, at 7thDean, pointed out some interesting things.
	He says, so the 25th was the five-year anniversary of the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash, and the next day the Philadelphia Eagles...
	Kobe was from Philadelphia, posted this meme of a helicopter with a person at the bottom saying, just drop down to say Go Birds with a time stamp of 2.59pm.
	Alright, I know for some people listening this may make absolutely no sense.
	They may think that I'm absolutely crazy and I understand.
	That's reasonable, valid.
	Please, bear with me.
	What this person pointed out three days ago, mind you.
	Three days ago about this post, and it has nothing to do with Kobe Bryant or Philadelphia, really.
	But what's fascinating is three days ago, somebody points out in relation to this helicopter post from the Philadelphia Eagles, which was on January 26th, four days ago, that the timestamp for that tweet pointed them to a Q post.
	Now, if you know what QAnon is, it was an intelligence drop, which posted a bunch of intelligence drops over a period of time.
	And listen to this.
	This was the Q post that it brought him to.
	Q post 259. Which says, quote, Red, red, 9-11.
	Funds raised versus funds distributed.
	Oversight.
	And then it says this.
	Seven out of ten plane crashes are targeted kills.
	And then it says, those in the know never sleep.
	Q. That's the full Q post.
	Now, I'm not one of those people who's going to sit here and say that this is all, like, the Philadelphia Eagles are sending secret messages through QAnon posts.
	But what are the odds?
	And let's just, like, you had a sequence of doing math on this, Nick.
	Maybe you can start calculating it.
	What are the odds of coincidences where Somehow out of that post about a helicopter, this guy gets a reference to QPost 259, which references plane crashes, and then three days later, a helicopter hits a plane in D.C., and in that QPost, it tells us that when...
	Before Trump took office, 7 out of 10 plane crashes were targeted kills, meaning there was somebody on board one of those planes that was being targeted for assassination.
	Nick, was there somebody on the helicopter that they wanted to take out?
	Was there somebody on the plane that they wanted to take out?
	Was this a targeted kill?
	Is this, am I crazy for looking at this in this light?
	No, Craig, it could have easily have been one of their, you know, when I say they, the bad guys, they have to tell you as part of their religion what they're going to do before they do it.
	Maybe that Q post reference and everything was just like a nod to say, yeah, Q's right about that stuff, but what are you going to do about it?
	Well, what's crazy is that all of these posts are from, like, two, three, four days before this happened.
	So it's not like these guys could have had any prior knowledge unless, you know, it's not like, I don't believe the Philadelphia Eagles were sending a message through a Q post, but then I think of, like, cosmic serendipity and, you know, like, there's no coincidences sometimes.
	Yeah, and adding them all up, just those, we haven't even added all the other factors in to include, you know, the thing we talked about this morning, those variables.
	Please don't go there.
	If you add those in.
	So as of right now, we've got at least five different ones.

	Their coaches and family members were on that flight, as well as two Russian championship...
	Russian, I think they're international champion figure skaters.
	A man and a woman, a skating duo.
	So those are the notable figures so far from the manifest on the plane that's been publicly put out there.
	Other than that, we haven't heard any other names of anyone who is on this flight.
	And ultimately at this point, Nick, all I can say is that What's been happening?
	Here's what I want to say, and this is something I think is important, okay?
	So Donald Trump put out that post.
	I read it earlier.
	I think Trump's trying to say something here, Nick, and I think you'll most definitely agree with me.
	He says...
	And I want to reread this, and I want maybe me and you can go through it, Nick.
	He says the airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport.
	So he's saying the airplane was doing exactly what it was supposed to be doing, right?
	That's what he starts with.
	So I think he's trying to say there was nothing wrong with the plane, okay?
	Then he says the helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time.
	So he's telling us that it wasn't the plane, it was the helicopter.
	And that the helicopter was being directed at the plane, I think, is what he's saying in this post.
	And then he says this, and this is interesting.
	He says it is a clear night, and he puts clear night in all caps.
	So he says it is a clear night, comma, The lights on the plane were blazing, why didn't the helicopter go up or down or turn?
	So, in this post, he's telling us more information than we've gotten from anyone else, really, on this topic, any of the authorities.
	He's saying the plane was doing what it was supposed to do, and there's nothing stranger out of whack with the plane.
	The plane was just doing what a plane, what it was supposed to do.
	It was going from Wichita to Ronald Reagan.
	It wasn't a part of this.
	He's saying, or maybe it was, but maybe it was the target, because he's telling us that the helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time, meaning he is saying in no uncertain terms that the helicopter was being directed at the plane, which means we need to figure out, again, who is on the plane, because if the plane is the target, that is something we need to get to the bottom of, or...
	If the helicopter was being flown into the plane to get rid of whoever was on that helicopter, it's one of the two, right?
	He's telling us in this post.
	And then he says, well, I'll just finish.
	And then he says, why didn't the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane?
	So now he's saying that for whatever reason, the control tower did not try to avert this, right?
	That they were just advising that this is happening, not saying avoid this or keep this from happening.
	And then he says it's a bad situation and it looks like it should have been prevented.
	Not good.

	A large immigration crackdown planned for today in Aurora was postponed after publicity about the efforts spread throughout the community, worrying federal agencies that they had been compromised.
	On Tuesday, officials at U.S. Northern Command confirmed that at their request of the Department of Homeland Security, Buckley Space Force Base was planning to stage and process, quote, criminal aliens within the U.S. for an operation taking place in Colorado.
	Officials hope to conduct the raids in the future, but without so much attention in advance.
	Colorado Senator Michael Bennett grilled Robert F. Kennedy Jr. yesterday during Kennedy's Senate hearing to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, the $1.7 trillion agency that funds medical research, public health outreach, and hospital oversight.
	Bennett questioned Kennedy's shifting views on abortion by quoting his previous statements that abortion should be left up to the pregnant woman, not the government.
	Bennett also asked Kennedy about a claim that Lyme disease is likely a militarily engineered bioway.
	The hearings continue today.
	After years of planning, a 4.1-mile stretch of Lookout Mountain Road will close to vehicles every night as of now.
	Jefferson County officials and neighbors hope the overnight closure will curb illegal and destructive activity in the area, including vandalism, drug use and firearm use.
	The decision to construct automatic gates on Lookout Mountain Road came after multiple community meetings and presentations dating back to 2022. And the Denver Broncos are giving more than 15,000 helmets to high school football programs in Colorado, a first in the NFL initiative intended to improve the game and make it safer for prep athletes.

	The first thing that's come out of Chuck Grassley's mouth is something I've never heard of before.
	An investigation called Arctic Frost, which apparently was targeted at Trump in 2021. I haven't heard this one yet, and I have a clip of it, but Nick, general thoughts as we go into the second hour.
	We'll cover more on the plane thing tomorrow, I think.
	We'll try to get some of this cash stuff done as it comes and is made available.

	A series of FBI emails.
	The first is an email that Tebow sent to a subordinate agent on February the 14th, 2022. He said, quote, here's a draft opening language we discussed, end quote.
	The draft opening was attached and it included material.
	That would later become part of Jack Smith's elector case.
	The second email, February 24, 2022, email from Thiebaud to John Crabb, a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, saying, quote, I had a discussion with the case team, and we believe there is predication.
	To include former President of the United States, Donald J. Tump, as a predicated subject, end quote.
	This FBI case would later be codenamed Arctic Frost.
	The third email, February 24, 2022, email from Tebow to John Crabb, noting that the Attorney General and the FBI approval will be sought.
	To open the case.
	The fourth email, February 25th, 2022, email from Tebow, subordinate agent, saying they added Trump and others as a criminal subject to the case.
	Tebow responded, quote-unquote, perfect.
	The fifth email, March 22, 2022, from Tebow.
	Emailing a version of an investigative opening for approval.
	This didn't include President Trump.
	I want to make clear, that one didn't include President Trump as a criminal subject.
	The sixth email is on April 11, 2022, from Tebow, approving the opening of Arctic Frost.
	The seventh email...
	It's an April 13, 2022 email from FBI agent Tebow stating that the FBI deputy director approved its opening.
	The eighth email on the same date had Tebow emailing John Crabb that the elector case was approved.
	Crabb responded, quote, thanks a lot.
	Let's talk next week.
	End quote.
	Between March 22nd and April 13th, other versions of the document opening the investigation existed because a ninth email shows that the FBI General Counsel Office made edits on March 25th.
	Was Trump still removed as an investigative subject?
	If so, which Justice Department?
	FBI officials other than Jack Smith later added him for prosecution.
	I expect the production of all records on this matter to better understand the full fact pattern and whether other records exist.
	Notably, approval of these documents was also given by Richard Pilger.
	About Pilger undermining the Justice Department's efforts during the 2020 election for partisan purposes.
	These emails and documents substantiate my July 2022 letter, which the FBI ignored.
	And I hope you, when you get there, won't ignore my letters.
	I mean, look, I... Is it too much to ask to have people who aren't in their, like, mid to late 80s running the show in Washington, D.C.? I mean, I love Chuck Grassley sometimes.
	Sometimes I can't stand him.
	But, like, it's almost...
	I don't think he knows what he's reading half the time.
	And, you know...
	Will you answer my damn letters, you kids in my lawn?
	You know, it's like...
	Just maybe somebody with a little more vim and vigor.

	Cash Patel, he also said in some of his testimony, his opening statement, that is, as the chairman of the committee, that Crossfire Hurricane was based upon fraudulent, discredited information paid for by the Democratic National Convention, which, I mean, like, Nick, am I crazy to think that we're hearing stuff that, you know, we knew four years ago, five years ago, six years ago?
	Yeah, we've known about this for a long time, Craig.
	You know, who is really behind everything.
	I mean, I actually got Quora, the website, Q-U-O-R-A, shut down because I answered that question.
	And when I did the website, Had all the answer on the front page of the website for almost a whole day, two days almost.
	Then they just took down the whole website because they had not put in the stuff into the software where they can censor people.
	And it goes a little bit something like this, you know.
	You know, you had a 2000 to 2005, there was an ongoing investigation in the Clinton Foundation.
	Grand jury was impaneled.
	Governments around the world had donated to the charity, yet from 2001 to 2003, none of those donations to the Quinn Foundation were declared.
	And who took over the investigation in 2005?
	None other than James Comey.
	And guess who was transferred into the IRS to run the tax exemption branch of the IRS for that?
	Lois Lerner, who also was working with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
	And all along that, guess who ran the tax division inside the Department of Justice from 2001 to 2005?
	That was Rod Rosenstein, same guy that helped keep this Mueller probe going.
	This guy was already doing corruption way back when, going all the way to 2001. Yeah, but it's just like already, like, we know all this information.
	I mean, I know Cash is going to get in there and hopefully, you know, go after these people for what they did, because they haven't, to this day, paid any price for any of the crimes that they committed.
	But still, it's like, is this what we're going to be getting over this whole hearing?
	They're just going to keep talking about Crossfire Hurricane and stuff we already know?
	That's what would be smart of them to do.
	If they were really brave, what they would ask is, what's going to happen to all the people who have been committing subversive activities or conspired to overthrow the United States government?
	How are you going to handle that?
	I think it's the real question they need to ask directly to him because that's all they really care about.
	The questions they ask surrounding it are really just kind of figuring out what's going to happen to them.
	Yeah, I think that's more where their mind is headed anyway, where it seems to hang around is, you know, what's going to happen to me?
	You know, how am I going to be protected?
	You know, oh, Chuck Grass is like, well, I wrote letters telling you this was wrong and you didn't do anything about it.
	And it's like, I think you could have done something more than just write a strongly worded letter while our FBI was completely weaponized and trying to take down an innocent, you know, man who also happened to be the president of the United States of America, right?
	Yeah, I'd be a little more aggressive.
	I mean, I would have thought that would be a good tactic or strategy.
	The confirmation hearing is, as I said, ongoing.
	There are multiple different members examining Asking questions of Kash Patel as he is basically on the stand for it.
	Somebody asked, is there any statute of limitations for treason?
	That's a good question.
	I don't think there are, but I'd have to double check that, Nick.
	Do you know off the top of your head?
	I don't think so.
	Murder and treason are ones that are never ending, I believe.
	I think that you're right about that, but...
	As for pardons, I think that treason is allowed only if the Senate approves it, if you do a pardon for treason.
	I can't remember for sure.
	Yeah, I think you're right about that.
	But I also think it's a legal gray area, because nobody's ever been pardoned for treason, so it's never been tested in the courts at all.
	So I think technically...
	If you just read the letter of the law, a pardon could be issued for treason, but it's debatable because it's never really been litigated, so there's never really been any court cases to decide whether or not a president could pardon somebody for treason.
	But according to federal law, under 18 U.S. Code, subsection 3281, there is no statute of limitations for the crime of treason.
	So this means that prosecution can occur at any time after the crime was committed.
	So if that clears that up.
	What about misprison of treason?
	Let's do misprison of treason next.
	Okay.
	Because if you know about the treason and you say nothing about it, you are no longer allowed to hold a public office at that point.
	Even if you're only getting a slap on the hand for knowing about it, you're no longer allowed to hold office.
	Well, from what I understand, there is a statute of limitations on misprision of treason.
	In the United States, the statute 18 U.S. Code, subsection 2382, which specifies that misperition of treason, which involves concealing knowledge of treason without disclosing the appropriate authorities, there is a three-year statute of limitations on that.
	So from the date of which the alleged conduct took place.
	You only have three years to prosecute that legally.
	So, there is no statute on treason, but there is a statute on misprision of treason, which means that a lot of people who did that are going to probably be getting away with it, since it all happened.
	Why would there ever be a limitation?
	If you try to commit treason, like, and you, like, legit, not, like, just mention it.
	Code book?
	I didn't write the laws.
	What are you asking me for?
	I don't know.
	It just is.
	Now, should Congress look at changing that?
	That would be a great thing for Congress to do.
	Maybe they could be useful for once.
	And I think that Congress could go in if they wanted to and remove that statute or remove the statute of limitations on that.
	They could, I would assume, if they wanted to.
	If you think about it logically, with Miss Prisoner of Treason, if you know about the treason that happens, the person walks into office, then by the third year, they're still in power, so then you're off scot-free, and then after the...
	Well, maybe that's why there's so many people committing misprision of treason, because they know they can't get caught.
	As long as you do it early.
	Yeah.
	You know, as long as you do it.
	It needs to be a 10-year rule.
	It's a four-year presidential term, and then the three-year statute of limitations.
	That's an interesting little...

	You know, one of the reasons I think that they are afraid of Castro, among many other reasons, is because he says stuff like this.

	And I pray for their souls.

	When President Trump informed me of his intention to nominate me as the director of the FBI, I was deeply honored.
	Sitting here today, I carry not only the dreams of my parents, But also the hopes of millions of Americans who stand for justice, fairness, and the rule of law.
	My commitment to these principles is deeply rooted in my family's history, which has profoundly shaped my worldview.
	My father fled Idi Amin's genocidal dictatorship in Uganda, where 300,000 men, women, and children were killed based on their ethnicity, just because they happened to look like me.
	My mother is originally from Tanzania.
	She studied in India, as did my dad, and they were married there.
	They would later emigrate to New York, as the senator pointed out, where I was born.
	And we were raised in a household of my father's seven siblings, their spouses, and at least half a dozen children.

	If confirmed as the next FBI Director, I will remain focused on the FBI's core mission.

	To investigate fully wherever there is a constitutional, factual basis to do so, and to never make a prosecutorial decision that is solely the providence of the Department of Justice and the Attorney General.
	For the first eight years after law school, I served as a public defender, first for Miami-Dade County and later for the Southern District of Florida.
	During that time, I represented some pretty awful human beings charged with some pretty heinous crimes.
	But what I learned there was a core value that has been enshrined in me since.
	That due process must be provided without bias to all Americans.
	And if we cannot provide due process to the worst, then there can be no due process for anyone.
	And our constitutional republic fails.
	But I battled on that hill for that due process.
	I would later serve in the Obama Justice Department as a terrorism prosecutor in the National Security Division, where we successfully contributed the prosecutions of terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda, al-Shabaab, and others.
	I was honored to receive the 2017 Assistant Attorney General's Award from Loretta Lynch for my work in helping the Ugandans bring members of al-Shabaab to justice for murdering 74 innocent people, including an American.
	I would also receive the Human Intelligence Award from the intelligence community for related work on that mission.
	My experiences at the National Security Division would later be followed by my experiences on the National Security Council as Senior Director for Counterterrorism.

	As a Deputy Director of National Intelligence, responsible for the production, creation, and promulgation of the Presidential Daily Briefing, our nation's most sensitive classified information and secrets to protect our country.
	My time in the White House was preceded by my time right here in Congress as a staffer on the House Intelligence Committee, where I spearheaded the investigation that exposed serious FISA, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses, by members of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. by members of the Department of Justice and the Federal That misconduct eroded the public trust in our FBI.
	The erosion of trust, as Chairman Grassley pointed out, is all too low today.
	40% of Americans have trust in the FBI. In order to get it back, there's a two-fold track, Senator.
	One, violent crime is exploding in this country, and we cannot afford to them to allow it to run away.
	We must tackle violent crime.
	Just in 2023 alone, there was 100,000 rapes, 100,000 drug overdoses, and 17,000 homicides.
	The priority of the FBI, if I'm confirmed, will be to ensure that our communities are protected and safeguarded and our children have parks to play in and not needles to walk over.
	17,000.
	17. Hmm.
	Interesting.
	The way we do this, we let good cops be cops.
	We let law enforcement, and we provide them with the tools necessary and resources they need to get after violent crime.
	The second way we do this on equal track is aggressive constitutional oversight from Congress.
	The public trust can only be restored if there is full transparency, and I am committed to that full transparency.
	Members of Congress have unfortunately submitted hundreds of questions that have been unanswered by the FBI in recent times.
	That will not occur if I am confirmed.
	All appropriate requests for information will be responded to expeditiously and fully.
	I am committed to working alongside the dedicated men and women of the FBI.
	They are warriors of justice, and I will always have their backs because they have the backs of the American people.

	But I think what I'm most proud of is my work in national security, protecting the no-fail mission, returning American hostages.
	Killing high-value terrorists that brought hate and destruction to our shores.
	I've served that mission in Democratic and Republican administrations, and it is the one mission that we cannot fail, and it is the one mission where the FBI must play a role.
	As you well know, and you and I discussed this in my office, whistleblowers are critical to rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.

	Mr. Patel, I woke up this morning to National Public Radio, and they had an item on there about what has happened to those who were given blanket clemency by President Trump.
	One of these individuals was a man named Matthew Huddle.
	I'm sorry, what was the last name?
	Matthew Huddle.
	If you could remind me, Senator.
	Well, I was reminded again this morning.
	He's a man who's been found guilty of numerous crimes.
	The one described this morning was outrageous.
	Where he beat his three-year-old child to a point where the poor kid couldn't even sit down for a week.
	Mr. Huddle was one of the demonstrators who came to the Capitol on January 6th.
	He was incarcerated.
	He pled guilty to crimes that he had committed, violence against police officers.
	After he was released by President Trump, he returned to his home state of Indiana.
	A few days later, he was stopped on the road, pulled a gun on a policeman.
	The policeman, sheriff's deputy, turned and shot and killed him.
	This is not the only instance of a person who received President Trump's clemency committing another crime.
	Peter Schwartz was mentioned this morning on the radio.
	38 criminal convictions.
	38. He'd been sentenced to 14 years in prison.
	He was released because of the President's unconditional clemency, which was given to him as well.
	So I guess my question is this.
	Was President Donald Trump wrong to give blanket clemency to the January 6th defendants?

	A couple of things on that.
	One, the power of the presidential pardon is just that, the president.
	Well, I concede he has the authority.
	I'm asking, was he wrong to do it?
	And as we discussed in our private meeting, Senator, I have always rejected any violence against law enforcement, and I have, including in that group, specifically addressed any violence against law enforcement on January 6th, and I do not agree with the commutation of any sentence of any individual who committed violence against law enforcement.
	So do you think that America is safer because these 1,600 people have been...
	Given an opportunity to come out of serving their sentences and live in our communities again?
	Senator, I have not looked at all 1,600 individual cases.
	I have always advocated for imprisoning those that cause harm to our law enforcement and civilian communities.
	I also believe America is not safer because President Biden's commutation of a man who murdered two FBI agents, Agent Kohler's and Williams' family, deserve better than to have the man that point-blank range fired a shotgun into their heads and murdered them, released from prison.
	So it goes both ways.
	Leonard Pelletier was in prison for 45 years.
	He's 80 years old and he was sentenced to home confinement.
	So he's not free as usual.
	He's 80 years old and he's on home confinement.

	Mr. Patel, you frequently associated with and sometimes praised extremist figures with the well-documented histories of racism, anti-Semitism, conspiracies, and the like.
	In September of 2023, you appeared with Laura Loomer at an event promoting your book.
	This one here.
	You shared a photo of yourself and Loomer in which you held her book and she held yours.
	Just a few months before this event, Ms. Loomer posted on X that the September 11 terrorist attacks were, quote, an inside job.
	Around that time, she accused Florida's First Lady, Casey DeSantis, of exaggerating her cancer diagnosis to gain voter sympathy.
	A number of my Republican colleagues on this committee have criticized Ms. Loomer's extremism.
	One of my colleagues described her as a, quote, crazy conspiracy theorist who regularly utters disgusting garbage.
	Another called her really toxic.
	...who showed up at a book event.
	I don't believe I'm guilty by association, and I certainly don't believe that an individual who is the first minority to serve as a deputy director of national intelligence for this country is a racist in any way, and I detest any conjecture to the contrary.
	Are you familiar with a Stu Peters?
	Does that name ring a bell?
	I'm sorry.
	Are you familiar with Mr. Stu Peters?
	Oh my gosh.
	Stu Peters.
	Dang it, Stu.
	Not off the top of my head.
	He made eight separate appearances on his podcast.
	He promoted outrageous conspiracy theories and worked with a prominent neo-Nazi.
	There are more Ted Nugent.
	The list goes on.
	I'm just asking.
	When it comes to your association with individuals, why are so many of them in this category?
	My association, as you loosely define it, is by appearing in media over a thousand times to take on people who are putting on conspiratorial theories and to devour them of their false impressions and to talk to them about the truth.
	That is something that I will always continue to fight for, Senator.

	I just thought that the Stu Peters thing, that's great.
	He was on there six times, and Cassius, I don't know who that is.

	I think he knew.
	That that would be a bad one to go to battle with.
	And that's why I do think some of these people, Nick, and I've met a lot of these people, like Laura Loomer and all them, sometimes I just get the feeling that they're intentionally doing what they do to make other people look bad, guilt by association type.
	And there's some word for that in psychological warfare operations, which I'm drawing a blank on right now.
	It's like a limited hangout, but with people and a guilt-by-association type deal.
	And I think that's some of what happens.
	You think, how do these people get big platforms and get overnight?
	Nobody knew who Stu Peters was.
	But then out of nowhere, he's like this massive figure.
	And I think they intentionally get propped up.

	I always appreciate that sentiment you share at the end of the episode, which leads us to our God's Grace is Greater segment, which we do at the end of every episode.
	We go and we look at Scripture.
	Today is no different.
	We're in Romans chapter 14. Picking up where we left off in verse 13, we're going to read up to verse 18. And it says this, Therefore, let us no longer criticize one another.
	Instead, decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in your brother's way.
	I know and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself.
	Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.
	For if your brother is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love.
	Do not destroy that one Christ died for by what you eat.
	Therefore, do not let...
	Your good be slandered, for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
	Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by men.
	And what this chapter has been talking about, what we've been kind of covering over the last several verses, is this concept that Paul is trying to make abundantly clear that we are all accountable ourselves to the Lord for our own actions.
	And in this set of verses, I think it speaks directly to that once again, describing to us what we should be seeking to do in our lives.
	We shouldn't be concerned with what others are doing.
	We should be concerned with what we're doing.
	Righteousness, peace, and joy are what we can fill ourselves with when we embrace the Holy Spirit, and that's what...
	It means to serve Christ, and that is what is acceptable to God.
	So I encourage you all out there today, before we look at our brothers and sisters, let us perhaps look inward.
	Take a look in the mirror and take that time to take self-accounting and take responsibility for our actions, our deeds, and make sure that we are clean and clear and have that direct relationship with God that we need to find the righteousness, the peace, the joy through the Holy Spirit that can fill us.

	Ultimately, what Paul's getting at, and tomorrow, we'll finish up chapter 14 and talk a little bit more about conviction and what that looks like inwardly as a Christian believer.
	But that's where I'm going to leave it.
