Welcome to another Just Informed Talk Radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful, wonderful day.
It is Monday, October 14th, 2024.
And of course, it is also Columbus Day.
So happy Columbus Day to all of you out there who celebrate.
I think it's a federal holiday.
As a matter of fact, why am I even here?
Oh, it's because, you know, I like to go the extra mile, and that's why I'm here, of course, on a federal holiday.
But for a lot of you, you may have the day off, so you may be enjoying some other more relaxing activities today.
However, we have a lot to go over, but it's also a day that...
Kamala Harris.
Kamala. Kamala.
I don't know how to say her name in that.
I don't even know the correct way.
But she wants to make it Indigenous Peoples Day.
Never forget, back in 2020, the most liberal communist senator in the history of our Senate on Columbus Day.
Let's listen. So I'm wondering, would you support efforts on a federal level to change Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples Day?
And why does that matter so much?
And why it matters is, to your very point, we have to remember history.
And this question, I think, really is connected to the last question about our morals and our compass and our goals and our aspirations.
We have to remember our history.
Uncomfortable, to your point about truths, though it may make us.
Alright, Kamala, thanks for another word salad of meaningless gibberish to tell us how we'll eliminate Columbus Day, you know?
Alright, great. But no, it is another day.
We have a lot to cover. You know, we came to you guys live on Friday from the Trump rally in Aurora, Colorado here.
That, it was an amazing event.
And, you know, just shout out to everybody who was there.
We saw some people who are listeners.
So you guys were there with us.
We were there in the press pool.
I swear we weren't the fake news, but it was interesting, you know, being in that group, right?
We had everybody from Kyle Clark of Nine News there, you know, that fake news commie douchebag.
Excuse my language. It's too early.
I can't be saying those kind of things.
Yeah, no, I met him.
He was as insufferable as you could have imagined.
Everybody from Kyle Clark to the Denver Compost, otherwise known as the Denver Post, which was an interesting one because when I arrived in the press pool there, the Denver Post had their, you know, they all have their little laptops out where they're going to write their little letters.
You know, fake news propaganda articles.
And one thing I noticed that I thought was funny was that most of the fake news had their articles pre-written.
Now, I don't know if that's standard operating procedure, but I noticed.
I wasn't spying or eavesdropping or anything.
I just happened to glance at the computer and noticed, you know, that the articles were pre-written.
And we're talking about Trump was going to go on at 1.
He ended up going on at about 1.30 in the afternoon.
And I got there around 9.30 in the morning to kind of set up and kind of watch the whole thing unfold.
Around 9.30, 10, I mean, they had their articles fully written with headlines and everything.
Headlines that read things like, you know, Trump makes racist remarks at Aurora, Colorado event.
And I'm like, thinking to myself...
He hasn't even given a speech yet.
How do you already have this long article with a headline written before Trump even gives a speech?
Oh, it's because the narrative is preset.
And all they were doing was basically sitting there in the press pool waiting to hit send the minute Donald Trump walked on stage so that their publisher, their editor, could publish the article.
You know, just as Trump was either finishing up or halfway through his speech.
Because they don't care what Trump said.
And man, I'll tell you what, the most effeminate soy boys you ever saw in your life.
I mean, I'm not even trying to be...
You know, mean or anything, but my gosh, I mean, you know these guys were, you know, going back to their boyfriends after they finished this one.
And look, here, I'm not going to sit here and...
It's too early and it's a Monday.
I don't want to be mean, but it really did upset me that this was what we get as far as media goes.
And the Associated Press were there and CNN was there.
One of the funniest things to me was that we were having casual conversations.
It was all of the media that was covering it.
You had Right Side Broadcasting there.
You had News Nation.
You had... You had CNN, Fox News, etc.
All the big players.
But the one that really was funny to me was I was in the press pool having a conversation and Nick was with me.
He can verify this and JD was as well.
But I think he was either a cameraman or an assistant producer or whatever for CNN. Was there.
He had his little chair and he was watching it.
And this guy's like clapping for Trump.
He's like, he's all in for Trump, man.
And it was the funniest thing ever.
I'm like, you're CNN, right?
And he's like, yeah. And he's like clapping for Trump, cheering for Trump.
I'm like, huh, that's a new one.
So even the fake news people like Trump.
But of course, everybody has to make a living, right?
That's what they always say.
It's like the cops who don't enforce the laws because their hands are tied and they don't want to lose their pension.
I understand to a degree.
If you have a family to feed, I get it.
But it is mind-boggling in a lot of ways.
And that's what I'll describe that event from the perspective of the press pool was.
Like, you know, the crowd was there and...
You know, the crowd was amped up, highly intelligent, it seemed.
Everyone I talked to had a very intelligent, coherent opinion on matters and issues, very informed.
But, you know, I'm not sure I would hold my breath in waiting for the fake news to give me a coherent thought on anything other than their obvious and clear hatred of Trump.
I mean, All of them, it seemed, except a few.
I mean, give credit where it's due.
There were a few there. But we'll tell you a little bit more about that when we come back.
Plus, remember, today we play the sermon from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado, and it is an amazing one.
It is the case for Donald J. Trump, believe it or not.
I know it seems strange, but...
Our pastor, my pastor, Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church gave a sermon this Sunday discussing why voting for Donald Trump matters in this election.
And I think it's a very good case that I really do want to share with you.
So everybody stay tuned. We're coming back after the break.
Mama told me Before hiring a realtor from a big corporation who outsources their jobs and pays little to no taxes, ask yourself, what do you really want in a realtor?
You need a realtor who is honest and has integrity.
A realtor who is focused on the client's bottom line, not the realtor's bottom line.
Who provides personable, over-the-top service before, during, and after the transaction.
You want a realtor that knows how to market your property.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And I told y'all about my experience covering Trump's speech.
Trump's speech was great this Friday in Aurora at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center.
It was packed, I mean, thousands and thousands of people inside and outside.
It was a sight to see, you know, a line that was miles long to get in.
It just shows you how much support really there is here in Colorado, even a deep blue state.
I mean, it just shows you that people are fed up with this from all sides.
And I'm glad to see a lot of that.
I saw a lot of Make America Healthy again.
A lot of the RFK supporters came out.
And I appreciate that.
You know, I understand that they may not agree with Trump on everything, but they see clearly the need for change and they need the need for a systemic change that will actually make a difference.
So it was just really a positive, positive thing.
But the other big, and to finish up just my simple thoughts on it all, you know, the speech was great.
Trump looked great. He made a very big announcement.
He's going to be doing Operation Aurora, which is going to be the deportation effort of all of these illegals who are here.
He highlighted the crime and he highlighted the families that have suffered from it.
He also made it clear that he wants the death penalty for any illegals who kill American citizens, which, you know, that's what government is there to do, and this is what we need in our government is decisive, clear action that sends a message, right? We don't need to throw people in jail for...
We're protesting a stolen election.
We need to throw people in jail and have punishment for the real crimes that are taking a toll on this nation.
So Trump announced that he will have this amazing effort, and I want to play a clip from the rally.
Here, listen to this. San Antonio police very aptly named their law enforcement effort Operation Aurora because Aurora was the one that was first and got all that publicity.
Operation Aurora.
In honor of Jocelyn Nungari, Lakin Riley, beautiful Lakin, Rachel Morin, and all of the others that are dead and or mortally wounded at the hands of migrants who should never have been allowed into our country, I'm announcing today that upon taking office, we will have an Operation Aurora at the federal level.
To expedite the removals of these savage gangs.
And I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
Think of that. 1798.
This was put there. 1798.
That's a long time ago, right?
To target and dismantle every migrant criminal network operating on American soil.
Who would have ever thought that a president or a future president would ever have to Stand here and say such things.
Who would think that that's even possible to have to do?
So many things have changed in the last four years, but that's the state of our country now after Kamala and Joe Biden have just absolutely destroyed our country.
We're a country in tremendous distress.
We're a failing country.
We're laughed at all over the world.
We will send elite squads of ICE, Border Patrol, and federal law enforcement officers to hunt down, arrest, and deport every last illegal alien gang member until there is not a single one left in this country.
There you have it, folks.
That was Trump on Operation Aurora, which He also mentioned the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which is an interesting thing to bring up.
It was a law in which the president could authorize the arrest, relocation, and deportation of any male over the age of 14 who hailed from a foreign enemy country.
It also provided legal protections for those subject to the law.
When Biden tells you that he can't do anything, it's not that he can't, it's that he won't.
Because obviously Trump just made clear that by invoking the Alien Enemies Act, the authority exists whereby the president could do exactly what he says he's going to do and deport all these people, and it's going to be called Operation Aurora.
Because in our state right now, our neighborhoods, entire apartment complexes, are being taken over by foreign nationals, criminals, military-aged men, cartel members, and women in some cases, who have infiltrated our nation and are seeking to overthrow it from within.
This is all happening in real time.
It couldn't be more clear.
And if you ask the fake news about it, I mean, what do you think they're going to say?
They're just going to sit there and tell you, it's not happening.
Don't believe your lying eyes.
And that's basically it.
So, I wanted to hit on that.
Also, we have this story coming out of one of the rallies that Trump just did in Coachella.
Apparently, another possible would-be assassin was apprehended by constitutional sheriffs in Riverside, California, in Coachella, particularly.
At a checkpoint about a mile outside of Trump's Coachella, California event, a 49-year-old man by the name of Vem Miller He was taken into custody on two misdemeanor charges after he was found in illegal possession of two firearms, high-capacity magazine.
He was also released on $5,000 bail.
He was also allegedly in possession of fake VIP passes and press passes for Trump's rally.
So, look, they tell us, you know, it's not happening, and then it is.
And other reports I've seen say that he possibly had fake passports.
I don't know.
But he's a resident of Las Vegas.
He tried to get into the rally, of course.
I'm sure there's nothing more to this.
It's all just another...
Nothing, Berger, that the media will ignore and pretend never happened.
Interestingly enough, though, on his, I think, Instagram page, he has video of him standing mere feet away from Donald Trump Jr.
And people are reporting now that it looks like he may have been a Trump fan, that this might be all a big misunderstanding.
I don't know.
But I'll tell you what, you know, They're pulling the knives out trying to go after Trump, that's for sure.
And they're pulling every trick out of the book.
So, not surprising at all.
But one of the interesting questions is, will they let Trump win?
And I found this clip that I thought was very much worth sharing Essentially discussing what happens if Trump wins.
Mike Benz went on the Benny Johnson show, and he gave these remarks about, will the deep state let Trump win?
And I want to play it for you here.
Let's listen. Will they let Trump win?
Maybe. Will they allow it, right?
Maybe. I think it's a tough decision for them on how far they feel they need to go, because there's always a trade-off between control and legitimacy.
And there was already a lot of international attention on the 2020 election.
It's almost like, could they run COVID back, right?
Like, They were able to get away with all the lies with COVID, all the corruption of the institutions, and they pulled it off.
But it came at a cost of institutional trust.
And to this day, there are lingering questions all over the world in countries around electronic voting machines.
Famously in Brazil, we sent our CIA director, Bill Burns, down to Brazil.
We sent our Our Pentagon director, Lloyd Austin, we had the State Department pull favors with Taiwan to get them the parts for electronic voting machines.
Brazil didn't...
Bolsonaro did not want to use them.
Casted down on the election.
We threatened them.
We see, you know, in El Salvador, they're talking about it in many countries in the EU. There's a lot of open questions about what really happened in the 2020 election.
And just like I'm not totally convinced that they could...
I think we're good to go.
I think there are open questions about the security of our voting machines.
They've already rigged it at this point by speed naturalizing all the illegal immigrants who they've shipped here on taxpayer dime through USAID programs and through DHS programs.
So, you know, they've already padded it that way.
There are open questions about the electronic voting machines.
I mean, it could be that we're in an era where there really are no elections anymore.
I mean, the fact is, is the DHS agency that's supposed to be in charge of cybersecurity, CISA, was one of the worst places and most corrupt places in our entire government.
They were the ones who orchestrated all of 2020 censorship by saying tweets on the internet are an attack on elections if they question election results.
And it's made up of CIA and NSA hackers who migrate over to DHS to protect voting machines.
Well, hackers' professional jobs are hacking things.
And then reporting the vulnerabilities.
Well, what if the same people who labeled 100% of the repeat misinformation spreaders on Twitter 1.0 and YouTube and Facebook, what if the people whose apparent sole and exclusive purpose in life is to make sure Trump doesn't win the election and they have proprietary access to be able to hack electric voting machines and no one can question them because they are Literally,
the Department of Homeland Security, and this is high-level stuff that can be easily compartmentalized so that there's no oversight, what if they simply Hack the voting machines.
The group that's supposed to be protecting us from hacking.
We see this happen all the time.
The 2020 election coup simulator, Transition Integrity Project, planned a coup in the guise of a counter coup.
They said, how can we structure a domestic color revolution to kick Trump out of office if he clings to power?
If he loses the election, doesn't give up power.
We need a coup power to stop his coup.
But then they screwed up because Scenario three of the simulation was called clear Trump win.
How do we still get him out of office?
How do we still make sure he's not inaugurated, even if he clearly wins the election?
And so you see this happen time and time again.
But I think that the ideal situation, if Trump does win fair and square in the Electoral College, We're good to go.
Blob lackeys that are more loyal to the blob than to the President of the United States.
And then simultaneously open several concurrent special prosecutor investigations to make sure the whole term is bogged down in a Mueller probe on steroids.
They might settle for that. This sounds like I've seen this one before.
It's a rerun. What's a rerun?
Oh, wow.
Well, it's a Transformers sequel, so it's bigger, better.
It's the same plot line. It's just more explosions.
So they're going to try and do the same thing they did last time.
Trump clearly wins in 2016.
And they make sure that there are people like John Bolton.
They're holding his nuts.
Yeah. No, exactly.
I think that's...
Yep. That's the plan.
A bit of a crass way of putting it there at the end, but it really is true.
I think that's essentially what will happen.
And one thing we know is going to happen is that when Trump wins, if he wins this election, which it looks like he will, unless they do some really flagrant cheating, It'll be the molar probe on steroids.
And when he says that, I believe 100%.
They're going to go... What they're going to do, folks, and this is a prediction...
I hate making predictions because I don't want to be right a lot of the time.
But what they'll do is they will open up never-ending, ongoing investigations from the FBI and the DOJ that will turn into congressional investigations and We're good to go.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
One of my favorite things to do lately has been watching J.D. Vance school fake news reporters on the truth.
And there have been some doozies, right?
I want to play a couple of them here real quick.
And then once we're done with that, we're going to play the sermon from our...
Church here in Fort Collins, Front Range Baptist Church, and Pastor Dean Miller.
But I want to play these because this was him sitting down with a New York Times reporter, and they pushed him on the whole illegal situation.
Tell me if you can spot what I saw here.
Listen to this. The reason that there is a housing crisis is that not enough houses have been built.
And that we have 25 million people who shouldn't be here.
Well, I mean, this is the thing.
I think it's both. I know you do.
I don't think that many people who look into this agree with you, but about a third of the construction workforce in this country is Hispanic.
Of those, a large proportion are undocumented.
So how do you propose to build all the housing necessary that we need in this country by removing all the people who are working in construction?
I think it's a fair question because we know that back in the 1960s when we had very low levels of illegal immigration, Americans didn't buy houses, didn't build houses.
But, of course, they did. And I'm being sarcastic, of course, in service of a point, Lulu, the assumption that because a large number of home builders now are using undocumented labor, that that's the only way to build homes, I think, again, betrays a fundamental...
The country is much bigger. The need is much bigger.
I mean, I'm not arguing in favor of illegal immigration.
I'm asking how you would deal with the knock-on effect of your proposal to remove millions of people who work in a critical part of the economy.
Well, I think that what you would do is you would take, let's say, for example, the 7 million prime-age men who have dropped out of the labor force, and you have a smaller number of women, but still millions of women prime-age who have dropped out of the labor force.
You absolutely could re-engage folks into the American labor market.
To work in construction?
Of course you could. I mean, the unemployment rate is 4.1%.
But the unemployment rate, Lulu, this is important.
But most people who don't work can't work in the regular economy.
They're in the military. They're parents.
They're sick. They're old.
They might not want to work in construction.
The unemployment rate is 9%.
It does not count labor force participation dropouts.
And again, this is one of the really deranged things that I think illegal immigration does to our society, is it gets us in a mindset of saying, we can only build houses with illegal immigrants when we have 7 million, just men, not even women, just men, who have completely dropped out of the labor force.
People say, well, Americans won't do those jobs.
Americans won't do those jobs for I mean, look,
everything you said is so true, but the point I want to make is when you listen to this Times reporter, I don't know if this was the New York Times or just the Times, but the way they asked the question is just like, Sitting in some penthouse in Lower Manhattan, you know, who would build your houses?
Oh, pour me another tea, please.
You know, like some bourgeois royalty.
Peasants, where would the peasants be when they build your houses, Mr.
Fans? It's like, lady, are you absolutely out of your ever-living mind?
It's like when Kelly Osbourne was on The View and she goes, Donald, who do you think will clean your toilets if you deport all the illegal immigrants?
It's like, these people are so absolutely out of touch with reality that they've...
I say this often, they're huffing their own jankum.
And you can look up what that is.
It's a hallucinogenic...
Substance created by your own bodily waste.
I'll put it that way, to pleasantly put it.
They are huffing their own jankum, and they've convinced themselves, like, well, we can't build houses without illegals, because Americans won't do those jobs.
Oh, so Americans won't work for under-the-table wages.
And this is not even...
The illegals are being exploited.
The American people are being robbed.
And these idiot reporters are like, well, you know, who's going to clean your toilets and build your houses?
It's like, perhaps the people who are here that need jobs, maybe those will be the people that do it.
It is quite frustrating.
Here's another one. J.D. Vance with the fake news on illegal immigration.
Listen to this. The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes, and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns.
A handful of problems.
Only, Martha, do you hear yourself?
Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris' open border.
Americans are so fed up with what's going on, and they have every right to be.
And I really find this exchange...
Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.
I worry so much more about that problem than anything else here.
We've got to get American communities in a safe space again.
And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions Most of whom are unvetted.
Most of whom you don't know who they really are.
You're going to have problems like this.
Kamala Harris, 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump's successful border policies.
We knew this stuff would happen.
They dragged about opening the border.
And now we have the consequences and we're living with it.
We can do so much better.
But frankly, we're not going to do better, Martha, unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out.
I'm glad that he did. Uh, J.D. Vance, you know, this old windbag over there on ABC News.
Uh, it's the police and it's only a handful of apartment complexes.
I mean, do you hear how out of touch our media is?
Just, they're not just out of touch, they're untethered from reality.
Like, well, it's just a few complexes.
Like, and J.D. Vance rightfully says, look, Do you hear what you're saying?
Oh, we should not care that even one apartment complex, more or less several, are being taken over by foreign national cartels in America, on American soil, displacing real citizens?
Sometimes I listen to this and I'm just like, what?
What in the ever-living What the heck is going on here?
Do you know what I mean? That's just where I'm at.
That's where I'm at with these people.
You can't listen to them and take them seriously anymore.
And I feel like they don't even take themselves seriously.
Because if they had one ounce of integrity left, they would at least try to appear objective and reasonable.
But they don't care.
I mean, they're grasping at straws, too, because look at what they've been given.
They have to pretend that Kamala Harris is a coherent, sound candidate that represents what they believe.
I mean, maybe she does to a degree, but that she can represent it in an election and be the commander-in-chief of this nation and lead us in a direction that's not toward our, you know, destruction...
When we come back, what I'm going to do is I'm going to play for you guys a sermon from this Sunday at Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Pastor Dean Miller, and it's called Salt and Light.
But really, it's making a scriptural case for why voting for Donald Trump makes sense.
And I want to play it because I believe that what was shared with me in this sermon on Sunday, what I'm going to share with you guys, is how I've felt and how I've been trying to explain it.
But Pastor Miller does it in a much more eloquent way.
And I want to play it because this is important for you to hear.
So stay tuned. We're going to listen to that when we come back.

Okay, let's...
First off, quick texter 763 says, our good friend says, Well, nothing's normal in how we run things around here.
That we all figured out during COVID. But good comment, and we need to look more into that dark trace.
But here is Pastor Miller's sermon.
This is a political one, but it's scripture-based, and I think he's basically making the case on why we should vote for Donald Trump, and this is something I agree with wholeheartedly, and I hope you guys take it in.
This is Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And thank the Lord that Jesus was broken and spilled out and that we can have His life in us and then live our life for Him.
This morning, if you're visiting with us today, we are normally going through the book of Colossians right now.
We're preaching through the book of Colossians and we just finished up chapter 2 last week.
We'll be going into chapter 3 next week.
But I feel as though and prayed diligently for this as much as I, myself, Do not like to preach on subjects like this.
They're necessary.
And my role as a shepherd, my role as a pastor, is to help the church understand our citizenship as God has defined it.
And so I want you today to be very attentive and just please understand my heart as we go through this.
My goal here is to help God's people understand our position in this world in Christ as salt and light.
The Bible says that we are salt and light as believers.
And what does he mean by salt and light?
Salt is a preservative.
Salt is an antiseptic.
It fights decay.
That's why when meats are smoked and rubbed with salt, they preserve that meat.
Salt is a preserver and a preventer of decay.
2 Thessalonians tells us that the church, in conjunction with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, we stand in a position of resisting evil and darkness in the world.
The moral decay.
The church is to preach things that are going to prevent sin from running rampant.
We stand against sin.
Are we sinners? Yes.
We preach against ourselves.
Somebody asked me one day, said, are you an affirming church?
And I said, they won't even affirm me.
They tell me I'm a sinner, but they accept me.
And then they show me how to believe on Jesus.
Amen. Light is the illumination into darkness and the Bible says as believers we are to shine the light of truth.
We turn to Romans chapter 13 but in Philippians 2.15 the Bible says that we are to be lights that shine in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation.
Everybody look right up here for just a minute and let me tell you something.
We are living in a crooked and perverse nation.
And our job is not to condemn the world.
Jesus came not unto the world to condemn the world.
That the world through him might be saved.
But our job is also not to condone the world.
We're not just to put our arm around him and say, Hey, you just live the way you want to.
Every road leads to God.
So if we don't condemn and we don't condone, what do we do?
We confront.
We confront with truth and love and grace.
So today, we're going to confront some things.
We're all in the middle of this political season, and how many of you are sick of it already?
I was sick of it 10 years ago.
It seems like we've been in this in a never-ending cycle.
And the reason for it is because American politics has become very corrupt and very, very different than what God designed it to be.
Now I want to tell you this, that this message needs to be preached today.
And I will just tell you right off the beginning, it's not going to please everyone.
In fact, I'm probably going to offend about everybody in this room today.
I was offended at myself in the first service.
We are Americans by our birth or by our residency, our citizenship.
However, we are Christians in our identity.
And we need to understand that because Christianity is what shapes our worldview.
So listen very carefully what I'm going to say.
And this is not just a play on words.
This is not just semantics.
This is absolute truth.
We are not Americans who happen to be Christians.
We are Christians who happen to live in America.
And there are Christians who live in communist China.
I just was with a pastor the other day who had ministered for the last 10 days in Cuba.
And was telling me the reports and in the abstract poverty in that nation, the things that God was doing in that communist country, that socialist country of Cuba, what God was doing there.
God is not limited by the government.
So we're going to be Christians no matter where we are.
But we happen to be Christians here and we have a mandate from God.
Bible principles that dictate our behavior as believers.
Alright, when we come back, we're going to keep listening to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon, Salt and Light, talking about this upcoming election.
And I cannot stress enough, the things he's going to go over in this election or in this sermon are very important.
Scripture-based reasons for why one side is obviously clearly better than the other.
But he's going to get into a lot more than that.
Stay tuned. We're coming back after the break.

I think it's time we stop.
children, what's that sign?
Everybody look what's going down Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going to go right back to Pastor Dean Miller, his sermon, Salt and Light.
This is Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
All are welcome. Services are at 9.30 a.m.
and 11 a.m. on Sundays.
But this is a very important sermon for this upcoming election, so let's tune back in.
The Bible principles dictate that I glorify God.
The Bible principles dictate that you glorify God.
Whatsoever you eat, whatsoever you drink, do all to the glory of God.
That God may be glorified in your spirit and your body, which are His.
So, where to glorify God?
The Bible principles dictate that you and I live a gospel witness life.
I'm not saying that we just live a nice life.
And we just live a neighborly life, but we live a gospel witness life, that we are intentionally talking to lost people in our sphere of influence that God has brought into our orbit, and we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
You are to be actively, consistently, courageously, lovingly sharing Jesus Christ with lost people.
And if you're not, you're a disobedient believer.
Bible principles dictate that I keep myself unspotted from the world.
As a believer, I am in this world, but I'm not of this world.
I'm not to engage in its sin.
I am not to indulge myself in its lusts, and I am to keep myself pure.
Bible principles dictate that you and I honor government and submit to the laws of the land so long as those laws do not violate the laws of God.
When we were going through the COVID crazy, God had put in my heart, we need to go to church.
We need to assemble together.
And government was saying no. And God was saying go.
So I called our chief of police.
I called our sheriff.
I called law enforcement and said, I don't want to put you guys in a bad spot that you have to ticket people for going to church, but we're going to church.
And they said, we're not going to ticket you, but you need to call the county.
So I called our health department.
And I said, listen, I know that what you're trying to do is protect people and their health.
You're doing the best you can. But I want to just, in all due respect, you do not love our church family the way we love each other.
So we are going to assemble together, and we're going to do it carefully, and we're going to do it lovingly, and we're not going to jeopardize everybody else's life.
But we, and I said, I want you to understand, we're going to assemble.
He said, well, you can't do that. And I said, well, we can.
And we are. And I said I want you to understand something.
Please understand something. We are not going to assemble at Front Range Baptist Church in defiance to you.
We are going to assemble in obedience to Jesus Christ.
And we can obey him and submit to you.
He said how do you do that?
I said if you have fines that you want to levy against us we'll pay them.
And we'll submit to your ordinance but we will obey God.
Because your rule oversteps the rule of God that says forsake not the assembling of yourselves together.
So we can obey the laws of the land so long as they follow the laws of God.
Bible principles also dictate that I live peaceably with all men.
As much as in me is to live peaceably with all men.
I'm a Baptist pastor.
I'm a Christian and I'm a Baptist pastor and in my neighborhood I drive by flags of every kind except American.
And I pray for my neighbors.
I know them by name. I love them.
They borrow things from us.
We borrow things from them.
We've given them the gospel.
We've led several of our neighbors to Christ.
We've had some of them come to visit with us in church here.
And they're like, it's really weird to see you mowing your yard and then preaching on Sunday.
Alright. We're going to keep listening to this sermon when we come back.
Pastor Dean Miller, Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Hello Church, Henry here from God's Feeding Station.
1 John 4, 16 says, So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in Him.
That's who God is.
His love for us is boundless.
It is incomparable and incomprehensible.
And it is demonstrated in the sacrifice on the cross by His Son for our sins.
And Paul tells us in Romans 8, verses 38 and 39, nothing can separate us from that love.
For I am sure, Paul says, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Come explore this love with us at GodsFeedingStation.org, a proud sponsor of Craig James and Just Informed Talk Radio.

At Warriors Revolution, we have the largest selection of tactical gear and ammo in northern Colorado.
But what many people may not know is that we now sell firearms.

And don't forget all the bulk ammunition at the best prices in town.

Music When I close my eyes I can almost see it When I take a breath you fill up my lungs Welcome
back to Just the Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James, and we're going to get right back to that sermon from Pastor Dean Miller in Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado, in just a second.
Before we do that, though, I want to thank one of our sponsors.
You guys know it's our good friends over at GodsFeedingStation.com, or excuse me, GodsFeedingStation.org.
Make sure you check them out.
They also have an app, God's Feeding Station, you can download today.
It's an online ministry, 100% free for you to use.
All you have to do is go check it out.
They have Bible studies, daily devotionals, ways to stay in Scripture every single day, which is important.
It's good to have a church and go to church on Sundays and get spiritually fed there, but then you need to be fed all week long, every day.
We should be looking to get in the Scripture and feed ourselves the Word.
And that's what God's Feeding Station is there for.
So go check them out today. Again, you can download the app or go to godsfeedingstation.org and make sure you support that ministry.
Okay. Well, here we go.
Let's go back to Pastor Dean Miller.
Again, this whole sermon is about salt and light and the election coming up here in 2024.
And he's not afraid to go there.
And this is what I'm very thankful for.
He's a great pastor.
And this sermon, I think, is very good.
So let's keep listening.
Now we would probably not agree on a majority of things about life, but we love our neighbor.
We can live peaceably with all men.
That's one of the problems with the American politic is that you have to hate the other side.
Bible principles dictate that I influence this world in righteousness.
Bible principle dictates that you are an influence for righteousness in this world.
Listen to me carefully. Where you go to school tomorrow, where you go to work tomorrow, well, you say, well, I'm not going to work tomorrow.
It's Columbus Day or whatever.
Okay, well, wherever you're going to go to work, when you go to work, wherever you go to school, when you go to school, you have a mandate from God to promote righteousness, to live righteously, godly, soberly in this present world.
We don't go to work and tell dirty stories as believers.
We don't go to work and show up late and put in a lazy day and try to think we're going to get a full day's pay.
We don't just go to work and sit around and waste time.
We don't go to work and use vulgar language.
We don't go to work and hit on all the...
We're God's people!
We show up early.
We work hard. We do our job.
We love our co-workers.
We do our work. We promote righteousness where we go to work, where we go to school.
So all of those things, the glory of God, living a gospel witness, being a light, all that stuff, that all equates to a Christian's salt and light ministry in the world.
So ask yourself today, am I being salt and light?
Am I living for the glory of God?
Am I promoting righteousness? Am I living a gospel witness?
Am I obeying the laws of man so long as they don't go against the laws of God?
Am I living peaceably with all men?
Am I a good representative of Jesus Christ in this world?
Am I living righteously, soberly, godly in this crooked and perverse nation?
And if not, why not?
You need to get that right with God.
To be salt and light.
The church is Christ's unique body on planet earth.
And we are here to serve him.
We must not cheapen the purpose of the church by giving ourselves to political activism.
We would do a disservice to Jesus and the gospel if we were just political activists.
But I will tell you this, far too many people in the church have talked about politics with people this week than we have the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our goal is not, as the far left has accused us of doing, of trying to make this Christian nationalism.
Please understand, we are under no false pretense that we're going to be a theocracy in this country.
We're not trying to be a theocracy.
We will not be a theocracy until Jesus Christ is ruling and reigning on this planet.
And then when he comes to rule and reign, we didn't vote him in.
He didn't run for office.
We can't impeach him.
He didn't take sides.
He just took over.
Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.
We would be deceived if we think that we can save the soul of our nation through electing politicians.
What a joke.
The government's job is not the advancement of biblical truth.
That's the church's job.
God deposited his truth to the local church and said, be the pillar and ground of this truth and go tell this truth to everybody you can.
So I want to just say to this church, get busy.
Go take the truth of Jesus Christ, his death, his burial, his resurrection, take it to everybody you can.
That's our job. So what is the government's job?
Why did God make the government?
What do we need to know as Christians living in these United States?
Let me give you a couple things from God's Word.
Number one, the government's job designed by God...
Is to first of all maintain justice and to punish evil.
Let's look at our text in Romans chapter 13.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers, for there is no power but of God.
How many of you believe that the Bible is the word of God?
Would you raise your hand? Okay, if the Bible is the word of God, then did God mean it when he said there is no authority in this world unless God gives it?
Yes or no? Okay, that's right.
So there is no authority unless God gives it.
The powers that be are ordained of God.
Do you know that God ordained Nebuchadnezzar to be the king of Babylon?
To come in and ravage Judah?
To take God's people captive for 70 years?
That Nebuchadnezzar was the servant of God?
Did you know that? These powers are ordained of God.
They have their power from God.
The Bible says next, whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God.
And they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Listen, go fight the government.
You're going to go to jail. Because God has given them the right to have authority.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.
In other words, governors are not to be a terror to good works, but to evil.
It is the government's job to stand in the place of justice and righteousness and to punish evil.
They are not to promote evil.
So, the Bible says here that they are to punish the evil.
So, wilt thou then not be afraid of the power?
In other words, do you not want to be afraid of your government?
Do that which is good.
You know, I don't have to fear the police if I just keep the law.
Right? If he gives me a lawful order, I obey it.
I don't have to be afraid of him.
So, now, he said, if you don't want to be afraid of him, do good.
But if you do that which is evil, be afraid.
For he beareth not the sword in vain.
God has given him the power of the sword.
Why? For he is a minister of God.
A revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Wherefore, ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath.
Don't obey them just because you could go to prison.
Obey them because it's right to obey.
For conscience sake.
For for this cause pay you tribute also, for they are God's ministers attending continually upon this very thing.
Render therefore to all their dues, tribute to whom tribute, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Peter says the exact same thing in 1 Peter chapter 2 and verse 13 and 14 when he says, Submit yourself to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake.
Whether it be to the King and Supreme or unto governors as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of them that do well.
The government is to be in a position where they maintain justice.

Welcome back. Justformed Talk Radio.
Right now we're listening to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon called Salt and Light on the election coming up here.
And he's going to make some very good points, and he has already made some very good points that I think...
Speak to kind of a scripturally-based view at this election, what it means, and what we should be thinking when we go into the voting booth.
And he gives some great insights here.
Let's go right back there.
This is Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
All are welcome. Services are Sundays, 9.30 a.m.
and 11. But let's go back to the sermon.
Everybody get that?
The next role of government that God gave them is to promote the common good.
It's in the preamble of our constitution.
They are to promote the common welfare.
The Bible says that he's a minister of God to thee for good.
The government's role is to promote the common good.
To maintain a law and order society so that people can live in freedom and enjoy their families and their livelihoods and enjoy life and pursue happiness because the government is maintaining the common good.
Three, the government's role is to respect God's sovereign authority.
The government is to respect God's sovereign authority.
Listen to me. The government is not God.
God gave them the power.
Now watch this. They are to be ministers of God.
God is the ruler. Government is supposed to kneel before God.
The father of this nation, George Washington, is found kneeling in Valley Forge.
I have his prayer journal from when he was a young man and into his time in government.
I have a prayer journal of George Washington and the prayers that that man prayed night and day, bowing before the sovereignty of God.
That's what government is supposed to do.
They are not God. They represent God.
They serve God.
Government is to defend the people.
He's a minister of God to thee for good.
But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid.
The government is to be able to defend their people.
Why do they have to do that?
Because evil's in the world.
So the government has defense to defend the people from harm.
There are people who would want to harm us.
Do you remember 9-11?
9-11. There are people that want to harm us in war and in terrorism.
And so the government is to be in a position to defend its people.
That's its job. And then the government's role is to collect taxes to perform its functions.
The Bible, Jesus even said, hey, whose image is on this coin?
He said Caesar's. Okay, well then give Caesar's what's his.
Give him his nickel. You give God your life.
He says in our text right here, for this very cause, pay you tribute to them.
Listen, I'm thankful to fund through my taxes the common defense of this country.
If we were actually spending it on the common defense.
So understand that God designed government and God's design for them are these things we just laid out.
And listen to me, church. But you must understand that the government is not the savior of the people.
There is one savior and his name is Jesus.
So why am I preaching this then today?
What does this have to do with us?
Proverbs chapter 14 and verse 34, the Bible says, Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
So I'm preaching this message today because we as Christians need to understand that these are not just political games between Republicans and Democrats, but that government is ordained of God and we in these United States have a say in that and our job is to promote righteousness.
Because righteousness exalts the nation.
When a nation lives righteously before God and they are living according to God's rules and God's laws, then God blesses that nation.
But when that nation begins to chase sin and to promote sin, it ruins the nation.
And guess what?
Our country is pursuing sin.
It was not just that long ago, some of you remember, we were all concerned because we were like, I think they're going to try to end the Supreme Court, redefine the definition of marriage.
And now we're saying, they're cutting off our children's body parts.
We, and by the way, we as the church are acclimating to the evil in the world.
When we are to be the resistance of the evil by living righteously and promoting righteousness.
The Bible says in Psalm 9 and verse 17 that the wicked shall be turned into hell and all nations that forget God.
Ronald Reagan said every nation that forgets God will soon go under.
And by the way, we're going under.
We've gone under.
So that's the role of government.
Everybody got it? Come back next week.
We'll be in Colossians. So what do we do?
Because here we are, how do we promote righteousness?
Because just think about this for a minute. We have the Republicans and we have the Democrats.
And think about our two candidates.
Like, one is the queen of the word salad.
I can say this in about 7,000 words and really didn't say anything.
And then I'm going to cackle a lot.
And she has a very sorted past if you look through the history of what she's done through her life.
On the other hand, we have a man who is rude and crude and unfiltered and often vulgar, who's an adulterer, a fornicator, and very, very proud. I don't know if you knew that or not.
But his pride is huge.
It's huge. Never been anyone more proud than me.
I mean, he's...
Like, you have pride, you have arrogance, and then you have Donald Trump.
And a very sordid past.
But remember this very carefully.
Before I get to point two...
Remember this very carefully. God said in his word that he gives us the leaders that we deserve.
And God said that what kings are, I could take you through several passages of the Old Testament where God said that the king is actually the mirror image of the people.
So let me tell you what you see when you see Kamala Harris or when you see Donald Trump.
We see ourselves. We see the character of this nation.
And that ought to drive every one of us to our knees.
Are there not ten righteous people in Sodom?
Are there not ten righteous people in this country?
I mean, we have 360 million Americans thereabout.
Are there not ten righteous, wise people who understand constitutional law?
Who know how to govern.
Okay, that's what we got.
So let me give you number two as a Christian.
God designed government.
So we as Christians need to understand that we are not voting personality.
We have to vote policy.
Let me give you some policies very quickly.
By the way, let me just say this.
Everybody look up here. How many of you have ever read the story of King Saul and King David in your Bible?
Would you raise your hand? Okay. Which one, if they were running for office, which one would have been a better candidate?
Well, Saul was tall, his head and shoulders, goodly young man, well-spoken.
He was awesome. He was a horrible king.
David was short, ruddy, out there with the sheep, but he was a great king.
But by the way, he was an adulterer and a fornicator, and he murdered a man.
So we're not looking at the perfect candidate.
We're not looking for a perfect candidate.
We have to look at beyond the personality and we have to see the policies.
And I think as Christians, if our job is to promote righteousness, we have to look at policies through the lens of Scripture and say, I'm going to vote for the one who has the best opportunity to promote the policies that best line up with God's Word.
Let me give you some policies in no particular order, but judges.
What about judges? In Isaiah chapter 1, verse 26, God said, You know what God said?
God said to Israel, look, I'm going to restore judges in your land so that your judges can restore law and order in your land so that I can call you a righteous city and a faithful city.
But right now you have unrighteous judges who are doing unrighteous things and your city is not faithful or righteous.
And by the way, he explains to us what Israel was like in Isaiah chapter 59 and verse 14.
And judgment is turned away backward.
By the way, I don't know a passage of scripture that best describes America than this passage of scripture.
Judgment is turned away backward.
And justice stands afar off.
Truth is fallen in the street.
What is a woman? Truth is fallen in the street.
Equity cannot enter.
By the way, the more this world has tried to find diversity, equity, and inclusion, they found none of them.
When you try to pursue equity, you will never find equity.
But when you pursue righteousness, you will find all of it.
And we have turned away from righteousness.
And the Bible says, truth fails.
And he that departs from evil maketh himself a prey.
Listen, the guy who says, I'm not going to do evil, now he's the one who is the prey.
It's the pastor who stands at a school board and says, we need to get this pornographic material out of the hands of our kindergartners.
And they arrest him.
But the doctor who's cutting off their private parts is praised and adulated as...
What are we doing?
And judges are the first line of defense because they are the arbiters of the law.
We have judges that are just slapping the criminals on the hand and then locking up law-abiding citizens.
So when it comes to the matter of judges, Donald Trump appointed Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett to the Supreme Court.
Three judges in one term.
Kamala Harris voted no on Gorsuch, voted no on Kavanaugh, voted no on Barrett.
Those judges, by the way, are the ones who helped swing the vote to abolish Roe v.
Wade. There was maximum impact.
And by the way, there's been some huge constitutional laws that they have stuck by that have promoted our constitution.
And let me just say this very quickly.
We are not a democracy.
We are not a democracy.
Our nation is not a democracy.
We are a constitutional republic.
And if you don't know the difference between that, Google it.
Read about it. Read a history book and I think you'll learn something.
Judges. Let me just say this, not only the Supreme Court, but down the line in federal judges.
This is an amazing thing.
Trump appointed 226 federal judges during his one term in office.
In eight years, Barack Obama appointed 320 federal judges, George W. Bush appointed 322, and Bill Clinton appointed 367.
These federal judges are major role players in maintaining constitutional law and order in our country.
And then even beyond that is the federal appellate court, which is where all appeals, most appeals in this country will go through those courts.
Trump appointed 54 federal judges to the appellate court.
Obama appointed 55 in his twice as much time.
So in the process of doing that, Trump flipped the balance of several appeals court from a majority of people who were not constitutional-minded to constitutional-minded judges.
More than a quarter of current active federal judges are now Trump appointees.
Think about that.
So the policy of judges is a major issue when it comes to your president.
Because way beyond their four years that they can serve in an office, you have lifetimes of people who are going to sit in places where they define as the arbiter of law and order.
Second thing I want to say is court packing.
This is a huge point that kind of ties into with that one.
But there is a play that the left in this country wants to abolish what we have in our Supreme Court.
And they want to pack the court, which would swing the court out of balance.
So that there would not be a court that would be in an equal opportunity of maintaining.
Right now we have nine justices.
Alright, we're coming right back.

Welcome back to us from talk radio.
We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon about the 2024 election titled Salt and Light.
Let's listen. They want to pack that court to a place where they can swing legislation through that would not support the Constitution.
And thankfully, Donald Trump is opposed to that.
We have a candidate in Kamala Harris that says she's openly, absolutely open to packing the court.
Listen, that has generational ramifications to it.
It has nothing to do with just this one election of who wins and loses.
I'm looking at these children, I'm looking at these babies, and I'm thinking about their future.
This has ramifications for future generations in that regard.
The third thing is religious liberty.
This is another great policy that I am deeply concerned about.
In his four-year term, Trump created a religious liberty task force at the Department of Justice.
He installed faith advisors, many of them I disagree with doctrinally, but he at least attempted to have faith advisors and faith liaisons in every federal department and agency.
Did you know that? Think of any federal agency, they had faith advisors and faith liaisons that would help them understand how to govern in that part of federal government according to biblical mandate.
He appointed that.
He advocated for the repeal of the Johnson Amendment.
Which I believe it was 1958, then Senator Johnson, Lyndon Johnson, before he became president, passed a bill, authored a bill and got the bill passed, that basically made it a tax code violation for non-profits and churches to do what I'm doing today, essentially. Now I'm not violating any of that, but I will just tell you this, it doesn't matter if I was, I would do it anyway.
You say, well, are you afraid that you're going to lose your tax-exempt status?
Now listen, I'm thankful that we had a government that was favorable to churches and the gospel and didn't burden them with tax burdens.
I'm thankful for that.
That's a wonderful benefit.
But for me to not preach the whole counsel of God in fear of losing my tax-exempt status is me bowing to government and not bowing to God.
Now let me say a little stinger to you.
If you give to the church for tax-exempt purposes and not because it's obedience to God, you're bowing to government and not God.
I get lots less amens on that part.
Kamala Harris introduced a bill to weaken the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
She opposed religious exemptions from the contraceptive mandate, from the vax mandate, and from same-sex marriage.
In other words, they want to put a mandate on me that I have to perform marriages for people that it's against my conscience and my faith to do.
Now you say, what about the separation of church and state?
Let me just say very quickly, yeah, there is a separation of church and state.
It's not in any of our founding documents.
It's not in any of our founding documents.
You find the language of church and state in a letter written in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson.
When Thomas Jefferson was confronted by a committee of Baptists from Danbury, Connecticut.
And these Baptists said to Thomas Jefferson, Mr.
President, if the government grants these rights, the government can take these rights.
That group of Baptists from Danbury, Connecticut was instrumental in the writing and language of our First Amendment.
It was the Baptist who said, government doesn't give these rights, God gives these rights.
Government protects these rights.
So when Thomas Jefferson wrote that, in his language, the separation of church and state, if you read the context and you understand the issue of his letter, he was not implying that there should be a separation from the church and state so that the church cannot interfere with government business.
He was saying the government needs to stay out of the church business.
But listen to me, the church has every right to be in government.
We're the conscience of the state.
Amen. And if you don't believe that that's true, go back and read your Old Testament.
Every prophet walked into the king's chambers and said, Nathan the prophet looked at David the king and said, David, you're the one in sin.
John the Baptist walked into Herod and said, it's not lawful for you to have your brother's wife, you adulterer fox.
And by the way, John the Baptist lost his head for that.
And there's a lot of pastors who won't say what they need to say because they're afraid to lose their tax exempt status.
John the Baptist lost his head.
Religious liberty is a huge thing.
But now let's talk about this one.
How about this one? Life.
Life. Now let me just offend everybody in the room.
Are you ready? We do not have a pro-life candidate running for office.
I'm sickened by Donald Trump's move to the left on this issue.
Donald Trump has come out and says that he is for a 15-day or 15-week ban.
Now listen, that language sounds, it's disingenuous because what they're really saying is that there's a 15, I think it's day, 15-day ban that says, or no, it's 15 weeks, 15-week ban that says you can only have an abortion within that first 15 weeks.
That's 95% of all abortions.
He's not a pro-life candidate.
Now, thankfully, he allowed, in his term, pro-life pregnancy resource centers to receive federal funding.
Bye!
Planned Parenthood has been doing that for years.
But resource centers for pregnancy and helping with pregnancies, they were able to receive funding.
He was the first American president to speak at the March for Life.
But it just bothers me that the Republicans are now where the Democrats were 30 years ago.
I remember when Bill Clinton stood up and said abortion should be legal, safe, and rare.
The leader of the Democrat Party, abortion should be legal, safe, and rare.
Now that's what the Republicans are saying.
But I will tell you this, at this year's Democratic National Convention, they had a mobile clinic at the convention providing abortions for attendees.
They were celebrating the abortions of babies at their convention.
They have written into law that Babies can be aborted into the ninth term, into the ninth month.
There are some states that are actually saying, and by the way, Kamala Harris voted against the Born Alive Abortion Act.
So if you were a baby that was trying to be aborted, but you survived that abortion, that you were not allowed to live.
That's what the act said.
That if somehow you survived that abortion, you could no longer, you didn't have a right to live.
She was the first American vice president to visit a Planned Parenthood facility and celebrate abortion.
So, life is a major issue.
By the way, in our state, we have on our ballot, and we're going to have a voter's guide next week that will help Christians understand biblical values of voting.
But we have on our ballot 79.
Let me tell you what 79 does.
79 says that there's no, under the law, it'll be ratified as part of our constitution, and parents do not have a right to know.
So a 15-year-old girl gets pregnant, her 15-year-old boyfriend can push her to have an abortion, she can go get the abortion and they never have to tell the parents.
You can have late-term abortion.
That this state would ratify that in this state, late-term abortion, that a baby can be aborted in up to its moment of birth.
And then, part of this law is that it's paid for by you and me.
The taxpayers have to fund that.
Now how are they going to violate my conscience?
How are they going to violate our...
There's no Christian that can vote yes on that.
I know the policy is the policy of free speech.
Free speech is under attack.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walls are the most anti-speech candidates since John Adams.
When John Adams became president, John Adams passed legislation through that severely attacked free speech.
The Supreme Court had to come back later and undo it.
They want to do the same thing.
USA Today... Reported Tim Waltz said on MSNBC, quote, there is no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech and especially around this democracy.
Kamala Harris said in a public interview, I will hold social media platforms accountable on the hate infiltrating their platforms because they have a responsibility to help fight against this threat to our democracy.
Now let me just tell you this. When the left starts saying hate speech, just remember it's not hate speech, it's just speech they hate.
And who's the arbiter of what is hate speech and what is not?
Who's the arbiter of what's misinformation and what's not?
Why am I going to let a government who can't tell me what a woman is be the arbiter of what I can speak?
Which leads me to the next thing is family issues.
When we come to family issues, Donald Trump opposed gender transition surgeries for children.
Thank God! He supported keeping men out of women's sports.
Thank God!
He opposed the Equality Act.
And he supported traditional marriage.
Kamala Harris has supported gender transitions for children.
Supported the Equality Act, which would allow men and women's sports.
She said that she would install a chief advocate for LGBTQ plus affairs in the White House back in 2020.
In Minnesota right now, signed into law by Vice President Candidate Tim Walls.
Listen, signed into law in Minnesota.
They are a trans...
Sanctuary state. So if a child is in a state that will not perform gender-affirming surgery, they can flee to Minnesota where they can get it done.
Also, in that law, and by the way, you can go read it for yourself, it's Minnesota Law HF 146.
In that law, it says this, that if a child wants to have gender reassignment and one parent opposes, the state can take temporary custody of the child to allow that to happen.
And Tim Wall signed that into law.
Let me tell you something. They're after your kids.
If our kids were to survive the gauntlet of abortion...
And they actually made it into this world alive, then we're going to mutilate them, put them on puberty blockers, and we're going to indoctrinate them with vile pornography and all sorts of sexual things in kindergarten.
That's what we're up against.
These are policies being run on major platforms of our two-party system.
Another border, and I'm almost done, another issue is the military system.
And borders. Trump believes in strengthening the military religious liberty.
He disallowed service by military personnel with gender dysphoria.
Now we have leaders of our military going on public television and dressed up as women.
What does that say to our enemies?
We're not only weak, we're idiots.
Kamala Harris supported VA health facilities providing abortion services.
She supported services by military personnel with gender dysphoria.
Listen, the military is here to protect our common defense, to defend us from adversaries that want to destroy us.
Listen, our military is more focused on DEI than they are even our own border.
Drive to any major city.
Listen to me. I challenge you to drive to any major city and see what fentanyl has done to an entire generation.
The drug crisis is destroying an entire generation of this nation.
And let me tell you something. Churches, we're going to have to be on the forefront of helping these people get their lives straight and their minds right and get born again and get their lives back on track.
This government is providing the needles.
We're providing safe places to shoot up.
We're doing everything we can.
We're letting the drugs flow through the open borders.
They're allowing buses of Chinese military-aged men to just come in this country and put them all over the nation.
What are we doing? 20 million people have come in, at least, illegally.
And God has four borders.
Acts chapter 17, verse 26, the Bible says that God has made all nations of one blood.
Listen, there is no such thing as races.
There's no such thing as racism.
Well, there is such a thing as racism, but there's no such thing as races.
Racism is a product of evolution.
You read the Bible, there's no such thing as racism.
God says all nations are of one blood.
However, God said that he ordained the borders of their habitations.
God gave people the right to live freely in their land and gave them the right to defend it.
When he put his own people in Israel, he divided up their places by tribes.
I said, you get this, you get this, you get this, you get this, don't mess it up.
Listen, listen, by the way, God is sympathetic and empathetic to the alien.
We're a nation of immigrants.
My great-grandparents came here from Poland on my father's side.
My grandmothers on my mother's side came from Norway.
My grandmother on my mother's side, or my great-grandmother on my mother's side, spoke Norwegian but refused to allow my mother to speak or her granddaughter to speak it.
You live in America, you will speak this.
We are Americans, you will follow America.
We're a land of immigrants.
We have laws about immigration.
We invite immigrants.
We have a Statue of Liberty that says we do.
But come through our front door.
Don't crawl under our fence.
Listen, I will invite anybody into my house that will come to my front door and say, hey, can I come in?
Yeah, come in. You come under my fence and try to get in the back door?
It is not going to end well for either of us.
Mainly you. So please understand, God is for that.
This is a major issue.
I told you there's only eight. This is the last one, so we're almost done.
Watch this. This is last but not least.
Israel. Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
He moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
He negotiated the Abrahamic Accords.
He withdrew from the Iran deal.
Said he would give Israel, quote, the support that it needs to win.
Kamala Harris expressed an unwavering commitment to Israel, but called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
And by the way, that whole thing that has swept our young people with this whole anti-Semitic, pro-Palestinian, it's an absolute travesty that we have such an ignorant generation in our colleges who don't even understand what they're talking about.
Go there and see for yourself.
Israel gave them all of that.
Israel has acquiesced.
I mean, listen, Israel gave back massive amounts of Egypt back to Egypt.
They are not occupiers.
It's the land that God gave them.
And they've given much of it away to these other groups.
You can go, listen, you go into Gaza, you go into Gaza, people from Gaza, Palestinians work all over Israel.
They run tour buses, they guide...
We had a wonderful Arabic tour guide that took us all over Israel.
Drove to every holy site, drove us all over Israel, could go anywhere.
But when we got to the borders of certain places like Bethlehem, five miles from Jerusalem, we come to Bethlehem to go see the place where Jesus was born.
There's a massive sign that says no Israeli citizens allowed to enter.
Our tour guide had to get off the bus and have to send us in.
Listen, we have such an ignorant generation that doesn't understand what they're protesting.
Kamala Harris described the situation in Gaza as a, quote, humanitarian catastrophe.
And then, when Prime Minister Netanyahu came to address a joint session of Congress, The Vice President of the United States, the President of the Senate, was not sitting at the DS while he was speaking.
She was not there. And in fairness, neither was J.D. Vance.
He was out campaigning and he should have been there.
America should have shown its unwavering support for Israel.
Now listen, that doesn't mean that we give Israel a blank check and say do whatever you want and we'll support it.
I wouldn't do that with our government.
But I will tell you this, there ought not to be a daylight, an ounce of daylight between America and Israel.
We ought to stand with them for their right to defend their borders and the right to defend themselves.
Israel's a major role.
So let me close with this and we'll go home.
Christians have a responsibility to citizenship.
If you're sitting here today you have a responsibility God has commanded you, number one, to pray for your leaders.
1 Timothy chapter 2 and verse number 1, Paul told Timothy, I exhort therefore that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
I enjoy when I get to go sit down with our mayor, I enjoy the fact that I get to say, I pray for you.
When I talk to our county commissioners, and next week we'll have elected officials here, and we'll preach the gospel to them, and we're going to pray for them.
But I can say to them, I pray for you.
I pray for our senators.
I've spoken in our state Congress, not in Colorado, but in Mississippi, and met the governor and prayed with the governor.
And listen, I pray for these people.
And God said, we ought to pray for them.
I pray for them to get saved.
Some of them, I do pray for them.
I pray that they don't get elected next time.
So God has commanded us to pray.
You have a responsibility as a citizen by obeying the laws and being good citizens.
Pay your taxes.
Obey the law.
Don't rob people. Be good to your neighbor.
Don't embezzle. We're commanded to honor those to whom honors do.
But let me just say this.
I'm speaking specifically of Christians who happen to live in America.
In this country, the government is, quote, of the people, by the people, for the people.
Which means, then, that we, the people, are the governing body.
And those that we call our leaders are not really leaders, they're representatives.
So that means, then, we have a voice.
That means then that we can elect our leaders and we should exercise that right to vote.
Now let me just tell you this, the word vote is the Latin word votum, which means to wish or to choose.
Unfortunately, the majority of the time, my vote has been a wish.
I wish it wasn't this, but it is.
We have always had to make a choice between the lesser of two evils.
Thank you.
I'll see you next time.
Bye!
Bye.
And we are never going to have a candidate or a platform that you can agree with 100%.
Now listen to me, tons of Christians are saying, I'm sitting out of this election, I'm not going to vote because I can't agree with this 100%.
That's disingenuous.
Because you did not take a job at a company that you agree with 100%.
You didn't join a church that you agree with 100%.
Some of you don't agree with what I'm doing today, and you'll be back next week, and I'm glad that you will be.
But you don't like it. That's okay.
I don't like it either. You say, well, I'm not going to vote for that.
I can't agree 100%.
Well, that's not what you did when you got married.
You didn't choose somebody that you were 100%.
They met all your 100%.
Some of you men are like, well, I did.
Well, she didn't. She got you, bro.
Toenail fungus and snoring and all of it.
She got a guy that can't tell the difference between a laundry hamper and the floor.
Somebody say amen.
And my point is this.
We're never going to agree when we're choosing between sinners.
We're never going to have somebody we can agree with.
I don't agree with me 100%.
You have no idea how many times I've been in the shower on Monday morning and went, I said that?
What was I thinking?
I come out of the shower, my wife says, what's wrong with you?
I'm like, do you know what I said yesterday?
She said, which one?
She didn't agree 100%.
In the last few elections, I've had to hold my nose and cast my vote.
This year, I'm going to throw up and cast my vote.
But I'm going to cast my vote because here's what I believe.
I believe as an American citizen, if government is of the people, by the people, for the people, it's a dereliction of my duty to not vote.
And to not vote is a vote.
You are free to choose, but you are not free not to choose.
And you are not free to choose the consequences of your choices.
All right, that was Pastor Dean Miller's sermon, and I thought it was a very thoughtful one.
I appreciate what he explained there, and I just will leave it to marinate with all of you out there.
If you want to join us, the services at the church are at Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.
They're Sunday's 9.30 and 11 a.m., and we hope we see you out there.
All are welcome. But I hope you enjoyed that.
We're gonna wrap it up here.
But you gotta vote.
And like he said, you know, I think he gave the good scripture-based case for why we should vote, why it's our duty, and why the choice couldn't be more clear as to who to vote for in this upcoming election.
So... I know most of you probably know this, but it is Donald Trump, and that's just the way it is.
But we'll talk a lot about the election.
We've got two more weeks ahead.
You guys probably already got your ballots and are maybe already getting ready to vote, so...
We'll talk about that maybe in tomorrow's show more.
