	I'm your host, Craig James.
	Hope you guys are having a wonderful day so far.
	We're going to get you some news that you're going to want to hear.
	You know, the talking point for a while now has continually been that when Trump gets into office, X, Y, and Z will happen, right?
	He'll be a dictator.
	He'll be Hitler.
	Everybody will be in jail.
	Everything will go wrong, you know.
	And they keep spreading this talking point, obviously, because it's an election year and they're trying to use fear as a way of controlling us.
	But, beyond that, there's other interesting ways of looking at it, and we're going to study some of that here today in this morning's show.
	We're going to talk about what AOC and others are saying Trump will do when he gets in office.
	It's simple psychology at this point, you know, psychological warfare, really, if you look at the tactics and strategies, but they are trying to convince us that Trump will come out and do everything that they're doing, right?
	It's always the tactic of projection with them, everything that they are doing in real time, they'll accuse you of wanting to do.
	And it's it's at some point, it has to fail, it has to be seen through by by we the people and I hope that time comes sooner than later because we really are moving toward a precipice, an edge that once we go over, I'm not sure if we'll ever come back, but
	Another thing I was hoping to be able to do in this show here today is maybe play a bit of a sermon I heard over the weekend.
	My amazing pastor gave an incredible sermon, Pastor Dean Miller, Front Range Baptist Church up there in Fort Collins.
	He gave an amazingly powerful sermon this weekend talking about what we can do to overcome all of this evil in this world, right?
	And it was very much a sermon that left me feeling pretty moved and it's something I feel like I need to share with you guys out there.
	So maybe later in the second hour we will play a bit of his sermon because it's a very powerful set of instructions that are all scripturally based on how we can turn the tides against the evil that it that are you know setting these plans against us and uh it's it's really a great look at that so we may get into that later if we have time
	uh we'll also be talking a bit about stuff uh more local here in colorado apparently the weed industry is in a free fall Sales are plunging by 700 million dollars.
	And we can look at that as a good thing, I guess.
	Because there are a lot of things that have come with that, which we all know are very dangerous for our society.
	And we'll talk about that a little bit, plus how Colorado is continually discriminating against Christians.
	But it's like, what do you expect when your state is run by a bunch of, you know, degenerates?
	Anti-God, anti-Christ degenerates.
	And I can say that because, you know, we have obviously a flamboyantly homosexual governor who has a complete disdain and disregard for Christianity, it seems.
	And I'm not talking about those fake Christians that, you know, cherry-pick the Bible and ignore verses that go against what they want to live their life like.
	You know who you are, Methodists.
	Yeah, I think that there's something to be said for all of that.
	What we'll talk about here, and I mean, just look at our state legislature.
	It's a transgender rainbow party up there.
	The super majority of Democrats are ruining this state.
	I mean, there's no other way to describe it than to say that if government is a tool for the people, It's become a weapon and it's being used against us just like any tool can be turned into a weapon.
	That's what they've done.
	They've weaponized the government against Christians.
	And as I've said before, I'm not ashamed of my faith in God.
	I don't have any qualms saying that I am a Christian nationalist who believes that this country, this nation will only be saved with a great revival, a great repentance, and a turning back to God.
	The nation itself is lost.
	The state, the nation, whatever.
	It's all lost without God.
	And the more they reject God, you know, I was listening to a sermon this weekend and one of the things that my pastor said that really stuck with me was when he said, the worst thing that can happen to an individual is when God lets you get your way.
	Think about that.
	Because he was talking about how there are examples time and again throughout the Bible where the worst thing that could happen to a nation is when God says, you know what?
	You do it your way.
	See how well that works out.
	Right?
	And that's something that just stuck with me.
	I mean, that's what we're literally living in right now.
	God is saying, here, okay, fine.
	You do it your way.
	See how that goes.
	To the unrepentant.
	To the godless.
	To those who reject Him.
	And those people just happen to be the people running our nation, running our state.
	So they've rejected God, and God has said, fine.
	See how it works out for you.
	Keep going down that path.
	Now, every fiber of my being wants to try to end this direction, to change this direction that we're heading.
	That's why I genuinely get up here every day and try to sound the alarms.
	I'll be like, hey, you're going toward a dark, dark future.
	If you keep on this path, you're going to hurt untold amounts of people.
	This nation will not survive, but Like with most things, people often are not going to get the message until it all comes crashing down, and that's the sad part.
	Is that they'll need to witness the fall before they can even realize that they were in a collapse.
	In a collapsing building, if you will.
	They'll have to be in the pile of rubble before they realize that they've made a terrible mistake, but we hope that that is not the case, and we know that if we stay in fervent prayer, that we can change the outcome.
	Because God can do things that we can't, and things that we think are impossible.
	So, I really hope I get to share some of that sermon later, because it was really powerful.
	But I also want to keep getting into some of these news stories.

	And I told you before the break that we were going to look at, you know, the latest batch of fear-mongering tactics put forth by desperate Democrats who want to always employ the tactic of projection in order to undermine our ability to point out their own criminal behavior.
	And in this case, it is our good friend, Far left representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
	She is now claiming that Trump is preparing to round up his political enemies if he wins in the November election.
	You're like, hmm, interesting.
	So, this is a soundbite that she made during an appearance on, let's see, it was on the Kara Swisher Podcast.
	Right.
	Where she basically went through some of this.
	Now, I'm not going to I'm not going to subject you to the audio soundbite because it's nobody wants to hear her speak and certainly not about something like this.
	But here's what she said.
	She said, quote, I mean, it sounds nuts, but I wouldn't be surprised if this guy threw me in jail, unquote.
	She went on to say, quote, he's out of his mind.
	I mean, he did this whole first campaign around lock her up.
	This is his motto, unquote.
	Oh.
	I mean, what do you guys think?
	Because, and I'll open up the text line early today in the call line, 877-536-1360.
	Is it just projection?
	Do they really believe that Trump's going to round them all up?
	Have they been fear-mongered and brainwashed into thinking that that's the...
	That's my real question, I guess, is that do they believe that what they're doing is righteous and justified and that if Trump became president because he's so evil, according to their own orthodoxy, that he would do all these terrible things which they are incapable of seeing as wrong in themselves?
	Is that it?
	Or is it just, is this intentional manipulation and deception?
	Because it's getting to a point now where I'm not 100% sure if it's one or the other, or which one it is, because everything they do, they seem so genuine in their beliefs.
	And I'm not saying that that justifies anything that they're doing, but they are genuinely convinced that Trump is this evil strongman
	And if you understand how psychological warfare works and how this is all being run, I mean, you have to understand, these people look at Joe Biden and they see this doddering old fool, who in their mind is essentially a harmless nobody or a harmless puppet.
	Right?
	They are hidden from the strong men and women, right?
	And I'm not saying that positively, I'm saying that negatively.
	The strong men and women who are running the administration and doing this deep state, uniparty coup, ongoing persecution, you know, roundup of their enemies.
	And you go, well, what do you mean round up?
	It's like, well, just look around, folks.
	I mean, look at what's happened.
	Steve Bannon's now going to be entering jail on July 1st to be imprisoned for the next four months ahead of the election, where he will get out just days before the election itself takes place.
	Now, Steve Bannon has one of the most popular And most, you know, listened to podcast radio show shows out there, right?
	And, and TV shows, he's, like, I would say, vying for one of the like Rush Limbaugh level of influence in our politics.
	And of course, he's being imprisoned for what?
	Contempt of Congress charges.
	Oh, really?
	And if you want to hear something really interesting about it all, Congress actually could, hypothetically, rescind the congressional subpoena for Steve Bannon and officially repudiate the January 6th Committee with a simple vote, which they're refusing to do for some reason.
	That in turn, as I understand it, would essentially nullify this court hearing's verdict and essentially keep Steve Bannon from going to prison.
	And you go, well, yeah, well, why aren't we just doing that?
	That's a good question.
	We have a Republican-controlled Congress, right?
	Is it Republican-controlled or is it Uniparty-controlled?
	That's the question you have to ask yourself.
	Because we have a lot of this left-and-right, Republican-Democrat, you know, propaganda that gets thrown around.
	And some people even believe that any Republican would be better than a Democrat.
	And in theory, if things were not the way they were, I would agree with that, but you I think you need to be aware of when you say things like that that it wouldn't matter if it's a rhino or a uniparty guy.
	Who cares if they have an R or a D next to their name?
	They are working for the globalists.
	They are working against the American people.
	And you know what's funny?
	Thomas Massey pointed this out, that Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, who we all are pretty aware now is pretty much a rhino, uniparty, apparatchik.
	He could, again, hold a simple vote, rescind the congressional subpoena of Steve Bannon, and officially repudiate the January 6th Committee's, you know, finding.
	But he won't.
	And somebody pointed out on social media, like, why don't you just go tell him about this and get him to do it?
	But Thomas Massey points out that he's not going to do it just because it's a good idea and he needs people, the American people, to start telling him.
	So call your congressman or woman and tell them to get off their butts And tell Speaker Johnson to rescind the congressional subpoena for Steve Bannon and repudiate the January 6th committee.
	See what they say.
	I mean, at this point, they've only been in D.C.
	for three days because of the D-Day anniversary.
	And now they're just getting back.
	So, at least they should be there.
	And if they are there, then we should be telling them, hey, you know, you guys need to do this.
	But of course, Speaker Johnson's a Democrat sellout, and he would never do it, some people think.
	And I'm not sure I disagree with that sentiment, given the track record of what we've seen so far.
	But back to the projection of the Democrats, right?
	We have AOC telling us Breathlessly.
	Donald Trump's gonna throw me in prison.
	Okay.
	You mean like Steve Bannon?
	Peter Navarro?
	Roger Stone?
	John Eastman?
	Donald Trump himself?
	You mean like that?
	It's kind of funny.
	But it's not.
	It's sad.
	And it's really It's a statement on what this country is facing, right?
	This is what we've essentially brought ourselves into.
	We are essentially reaping what we've sown.
	This is years of neglecting who became powerful, years of prioritizing You know, the bottom line over the right thing, because usually those are not the same thing.
	And this is really indicative of a system that is failing and is in collapse, right?
	This is how most governments end up falling, is through the corruption that grows within, like a virus or a metastasizing cancer.
	It's what happens over a long enough period of time If you have an overabundance of wealth and comfort that leads to inundation and apathy and general malaise as far as involvement in processes that we should be involved in and should have been involved in for a long time, you know,
	Unfortunately for us, we've gotten to this point for a lot of reasons.
	But I think mainly because people stopped being involved in caring.
	They got too busy by design, perhaps by distraction by whatever it may be.
	And thus, here we are.
	So We had a texter text in.
	Let's see what they have to say.
	They say, So I'm a libertarian by nature, but I was raised by liberals.
	I was talking to my mother the other day, and she is convinced that there will be a civil war if Trump gets into office.
	We got to talk about the Charlottesville, Virginia situation, and CNN has convinced her that Trump contacted and organized all the white supremacists that were there that day.
	She believes that they were there as a show of force for Trump.
	My mother has a, her master's degree in accounting is not stupid person, but somewhere along the line, common sense for a lot of citizens went out the window.
	I even tried to show her proof last night that Trump was against white supremacy.
	The way we're going, we're all going to be standing in line waiting for on our monthly rations and government cheese.
	I think that's a great text.
	I really do appreciate you texting that in to the person who sent that.
	And that is a very clear example of cognitive dissonance.
	And it's a couple of things, but a lot of people have pointed out that A lot of folks from the older generation have this ingrained trust of these big news organizations, right?
	That there was maybe at one point a semblance of, or at least a higher level of integrity and non-partisanship in news.
	And they believe that some of these organizations still actually hold that same level of, you know, at least non-partisanship.
	Even if they were lying, at least they weren't flagrantly partisan hacks trying to promote one agenda over another, you know, political agenda over another.
	But it has become clear now that they are to those who are paying attention.
	But for a lot of people, especially older folks, unfortunately, it's hard to break that.
	I know a gentleman, a very close family member, who is about 80, a little over 80 years old, 81, 82 years old.
	And he has the same problem that you've just described there.
	He's He basically believes what CNN and all these other organizations say about Donald Trump to a point where he believes all of these lies.
	And I don't know how we break through that.
	The cognitive dissonance aspect of it is that, like you said, Texter, in that text message, even though you showed your mother the proof that Trump was against white supremacy, the cognitive dissonance kicks in and she cannot accept that.
	Because essentially cognitive dissonance means that if they accept that factual impurity, right, if they accept that they were lied to in that regard by this organization which they trust, which they built a worldview upon, then if they accept that they were lied to in that regard by this organization which they trust, which they built a worldview upon, then it
	And as a form of self-preservation, they will choose to willingly ignore even the facts that are presented to them publicly.
	I mean, irrefutable, as irrefutable as they are, they cannot accept them because that could in turn shatter other aspects of their worldview which they don't want to have to face, right?
	And that's kind of the juxtaposition that they find themselves in.
	And unfortunately for us as a society, you know, we're suffering the consequences right now.
	People's fragile, and this is all by design, by the way, very smart individuals have thought of, concocted these schemes to manipulate people in such a way so that they cannot even accept the truth when it's presented to them.
	So it's a very damaging and dangerous thing.

	And you know, it's funny, we were talking about, one of the texters texted in a very great, thoughtful text about, you know, the conversation they had with their mother, talking about how, you know, she believes all of these things about Trump being racist, and Charlottesville was set up to buy Trump to, you know, go after, I don't know, black people, I guess.
	Again, we were talking about cognitive dissonance and that even when she was shown the evidence or proof that Trump was against that and that he openly, you know, disparaged it and rejected it, that even with that fact,
	They still can't accept that as the truth or reality because they have chosen to accept an alternate reality which has been imprinted upon them by a carefully crafted set of propaganda narratives which are meant to create a trap inside of your mind so that if you choose to accept one piece of truth outside of their
	narrative, then your whole worldview could shatter, which triggers a response mechanism inside of you to it's it's like a self preservation mechanism that that makes you have to reject any facts that contradict the narrative that you've accepted, because if you you don't want to shatter that that fragile worldview, essentially.
	And yeah, it's an interesting set of problems.
	Like I said, I have a family member who does the same kind of way.
	And they're not even really that liberal.
	They just, it's fascinating to me that they, for reference, they're Catholic and they have uh belief in in biden and i'm like you know biden's all for all these evil things that are against what presumably you as a catholic would believe in and they can't extend i'm like well and donald trump's far more aligned with your beliefs as far as these things go
	but they've again been programmed to have a an opinion that they think that i don't know but i think that they believe they've thought of themselves, right?
	And I think that's really the dangerous aspect to it all, right?
	Somebody else texted in and they said, uh, perhaps they know they will face military tribunals for the coup they perpetrated.
	They thought they were going to win in the beginning, but it's not looking too good for them now.
	And I would say, yeah, I'm of the opinion that these people have basically dug their own grave.
	We've handed them enough rope that they're going to end up taking care of the problem themselves.
	I mean, look at how the left's already eating itself with regard to this Israel-Palestine issue.
	You know, it's, it's rather, it's a rather fascinating phenomenon to see, uh, you know, Palestine and Israel lobbies fighting with one another here in the United States using, uh, our government as the in-between.
	But, uh, yeah, that's, that problem may just take care of itself.
	And, and the coup, the, the tribunals, I believe will, will end up coming one way or another one day.
	But with that being said, we have a caller on the line.

	Everything you just described is basically what they do in cults to their new recruits.
	They break them down so they only believe what they're being told by the cult leaders.
	Basically, they've used the same scenario in the propaganda machines of our media to basically break down the American population so they're not to the point of thinking.
	It's 100% true.
	I mean, it's an observable phenomenon that we've seen from Jonestown all the way up into that, I forget the name of the cult that was out there in Hollywood, where they all committed mass suicide as well.
	Yeah, no, that's a great point.
	It is.
	Everything you just described is exactly what has happened.
	And that's why I call it psychological warfare.
	But it is more like a cult.
	But again, you know, what's funny and interesting, caller, is that when you say cult, again, I'm thinking of projection, right?
	Because that's what they always accuse us of being in, right?
	They always say, we're in a cult for Trump.
	And I think at one point in the past I used to say, and other people used to say this, that, you know, we're in the only cult where you're told to think for yourself and think freely and critically think and question everything, right?
	That's quite a cult to be in, right?
	That is correct.
	I'm trying to think.
	The actual one out in California was in San Diego.
	El Cajon, I believe it was.
	Correct?
	I think it was called Heaven's Gate, if I'm not mistaken.
	Yes, it was.
	It was right because of Hale-Bopp coming through the solar system.
	Yep, that's it.
	100%.
	But yeah, Jim Jones was really big.
	He was one of those big controllers.
	I remember that history.
	And it's just...
	Unfortunately, Dave, it's communism, socialism, Nazism, it's all the same thing.
	It's a big cult that turns everyone into a slavery.
	Yeah, I think you're 100% right, and I guess while I have you on the phone, what do you think the solution is here for us, we the people?
	Unfortunately, people need to start getting out and talking with their neighbors.
	Yes, you may have a different opinion than theirs, but once you can start communicating, this is the biggest thing, and I said this once before when I was at work, before the COVID, when I got released, because I refused to take the vaccine.
	A couple of people were having a discussion, and it got heated, and a couple of them looked at me and said, what do you think?
	I said, this is exactly what they don't want you guys doing.
	And they're like, what do you mean?
	I go, they don't want you discussing your point of view and walking away socialist.
	That's a great point.
	I think that is the conversations need to happen.
	And that's why they want us isolated.
	I guess that was one of the direct goals of COVID was to keep us isolated and away from each other so that it was when we got together and you know, this seems like it's just the flu.
	It seems like they're really lying to us about this.
	That would be the biggest danger to them, right?
	So that's an incredible opportunity.
	I'm sorry to hear that you lost your career from not taking the jab, but God bless you for having the wherewithal to stand up for what you believed in.
	Do you want to talk about that a little bit?
	I can't talk too much about it because there's things going on with the whole scenario.
	Yeah, I mean, mandates were never laws.
	They're just companies trying to direct you to go the direction that they want you to, which this was a major corporation.
	And there was a whole group of us that didn't take it.
	And then there were certain things that we could do to maintain our job.
	And those who actually were able to get it completed were isolated.
	I got in before what they call a TRO and they rejected me.
	I was like, okay, fine, so we'll go the long way with this.
	It's all going to come back to bite them.
	As you said, there will be tribunals, there will be hearings, there will be some of these people who will cut deals and basically tell the world what exactly is going on.
	And there will be a lot of people, unfortunately, who will be going to jail somewhere down the road.
	Or worse, they may be tried for treason, if you're getting into the Trump stuff.
	People just really need to stop and listen to what is being said.
	Or, as a friend of mine says in a post in her front yard, look at the politicians, what they're running on.
	Look at the whole thing before you make a decision.
	Just don't go based on what's coming out of their mouth.
	It's coming out of the side of the mouth and the old expression.
	And don't just vote on a party line.
	You know, like you said, look at the politicians and what they stand for.
	So we really appreciate the call.

	And you know, that was a great call we had, and I think very valid and great points brought up, especially about the whole cult thing.
	And yeah, I think that there will be, at some point in the future, you know, military-type tribunals.
	There will be hearings.
	There will be consequences for these actions.
	There always are.
	And I think that's why The more we stay level-headed and cool, calm and collected during all of this, the higher the probability is that we'll be able to not only weather the quote-unquote storm, as it were, but also to, you know, maintain our basically Maintain our integrity through the whole process, right?
	And I think that's important.
	But, we had another texter, our good friend Henry Loke, from God's Feeding Station, texted in and said, it goes back to what you said, what you started the show with, no God, no discernment, no ability to discern the truth from lies.
	We are willingly led by godless minions of the enemy and thus in Isaiah 6:9-10 it says keep on hearing but do not understand keep on seeing but do not perceive make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy and blind their eyes lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn and be healed wow
	and that's exactly what it is you You know, a country without proper discernment will be blind to all of this.
	And I do truly believe it.
	I want to get to that sermon here in a minute, because that's a great segue into it.
	But let's get through a few stories here real quick.
	First off, They're already talking about bringing back the bird flu.
	Here's an interesting set of talks that I found on social media.
	I thought, wow, that's interesting.
	Here they are.
	Leaked footage of a set of public health officials discussing enhanced surveillance and farm quarantining for avian flu.
	And listen to what they're saying here.
	You need to really understand what is happening.
	What they're going to try to bring.
	And I'm not sure if this is all just a head fake.
	The whole pandemic thing, which it might very well be, like, because I doubt that they could run another pandemic, but would I put it past them?
	No.
	And they may just do it and, you know, consequences be damned and say, it's worth, even if people see through it and there's non-compliance, it'll be worth it to make sure that they solidify the mail-in voting aspect.
	I mean, I still see people in face masks, man, and I'm like, At this point, I don't know if you guys are the same way, but like, I was, you know, you go shopping on the weekend, I do my grocery shopping with my family, we're, we're walking through the stores.
	And, you know, you're walking through whatever store, and I see people with face masks on.
	And I'm just like, I mean, they have, they've, they're, I, they said 4 to 6% will be lost forever to this kind of mind control propaganda stuff.
	And I think that that's accurate because it's about 4 to 6% of people on a regular basis I see wearing a mask still, like, voluntarily.
	There's no pandemic.
	It's no nothing.
	It's just wearing a face mask in public.
	And not like, Uh, you know, cloth when they're wearing like the legit and 95 like look like they're just got out of the hospital and maybe they did.
	But here's the footage I wanted to play.
	This is leaked footage of a public health set of public health officials discussing what they're going to do with enhanced surveillance and farm quarantining for this age five and one.

	I was just wondering, so in the event there is a positive for milk, do we have a plan to start active surveillance in humans?
	I think that, you know, I'm just sort of thinking about, like, what's the next step?
	Are we just going to wait or do we have something that's kind of queued up and ready to go once we see a positive?

	So, Jessica, that's exactly the protocol I was talking about in the enhanced surveillance that we're working to put together that we won't use.
	Well, I shouldn't say we won't use.
	There's some potential ways we could use it.
	We could get baseline, we could do it on pigs, we could do it on avian, even though it's been done by the BC folks.
	But obviously, the preoccupation is to land something so that if we do find a positive farm, we can get in there.
	But that's where our work right now has been focused on trying to develop something that would be implementable around those farms.
	I will flag that, you know, there's the science part and the lab part and the thinking through the epi part and then there's the enormous sensitivities around who's going on farms, are these quarantined areas, the farmers, the undocumented workers or migrant workers documented, like that whole sensitivity area about we're here from the government and we're here to help you testing that has been very challenging in other jurisdictions who've attempted to do this.
	So that obviously is sounds like it's Canadian.
	They're talking about BC, British Columbia, they're talking about other parts of Canada.
	So that's what's happening up there.
	But you know, you got to remember, this is the coordinated effort.
	Now, one thing that I found interesting about that is that that was a zoom call, right?
	So there was like, you know, it Really was an interesting visual to, you know, what a Zoom call looks like where you have, you know, all these different people sitting on a teleconference and having a conversation.
	But one thing that really struck me when I watched that was seeing how, you know, what we talked about earlier about how they needed us isolated, right?
	So that we could be controlled so that because they don't want us talking to each other, right?
	And that Zoom call kind of, that's what struck me.
	You know, you have all these health professionals, quote unquote, who are working from home, sitting in their, you know, presumably their home office, or maybe their office at work, alone on a Zoom call, discussing how they're going to, you know, surveil us.
	For a pandemic, I mean, it really does make it easy for people to do heinous things when they don't have to see the real world consequence or deal with people in the real world who are going to be affected by what they do.
	And that's just kind of what struck me from that.
	When you have no Literal human connection to the people whose policies to the people who are going to be affected by the policies that you create and the things that you do, you can do horrible things to them.
	And that's what, you know, reminds me of the CDC and all these other guys, you know, just making up stuff about masks and vaccines, you know, getting just approved without real thorough testing.
	I mean, they could do these heinous things because they didn't have to go face to face and do them to that person.
	They could just sign a piece of paper and it became the law.
	So that's something to remember.

	These are social cues.
	They're input into your mind.
	Sometimes it's subliminal.
	Sometimes it's super liminal.
	It's like, you will vote the way I say to vote or else.
	But it could be as subliminal as, you know, Taylor Swift baking a bunch of cookies for Hillary Clinton.
	You know what I mean?
	They didn't say it, but they're implying it, and you should know.
	You don't want to make Taylor Swift, the witch queen, unhappy.
	Right?

	We're talking a lot about different things here today, but somebody from the 720 texted in and said this.
	The face mask is a pacifier for the mentally ill.
	Blue-haired adults.
	Also, I think there is something to be said about people wanting to hide their identity.
	There might be a correlation to this obsession with superhero movies and culture.
	Yes, I think that that's a very valid and very good observation.
	It does make sense.
	I think most of the people I see in the face masks either have some kind of wild makeup or hair color or piercings or something, you know what I mean?
	Like you can just tell that the majority of those people, or what's, what's fascinating and interesting about this texture is that, um, I have noticed as well that a number of the people who are wearing face masks still that I see, especially younger ones, are wearing like superhero t-shirts, right?
	Some sort of superhero type character outfit.
	And maybe there is a correlation there.
	I think that's a very incredibly astute observation.
	So thank you for that text message.

	So a couple stories I want to talk about.
	Speaking of what's happening here in Colorado, Colorado's cannabis market's in a free fall right now, going from a peak revenue of $2.2 billion in 2020 to just $1.5 billion three years later.
	Now, in 2020, $2.2 billion means that everybody was locked in their homes, isolating, and getting high.
	That's not a good thing.
	The drop has a substantial impact on the state's economy.
	The Cannabis tax revenue is decreasing more than 30% over the past two years and will lead to just $282 million last fiscal year.
	The causes are manifold and include an oversaturated local market, regulatory burdens, and increasing competition from nearby states such as New Mexico and Arizona.
	2 out of 24 states where weed is now legal, which may have been attracting consumers that would have previously made a border run to Colorado.
	Tourists who once flooded the state for the opportunity to legally experience Rocky Mountain Highs have largely disappeared as the novelty has worn off.
	Even Texans aren't driving north to buy weed anymore, satisfied with the proliferation of intoxicating hemp products in their own state.
	In fact, sales in Colorado's southern border counties have fallen 50%!
	So nobody's crossing the border to get the weed anymore.
	It's now that Arizona and New Mexico have legalized it.
	What's more, the price of weed has plummeted thanks to a supply glut, going from around $1,700 per pound to $700, and meanwhile there's been more than a 16% drop in the number of cannabis licenses issued over the past year, a 16% drop in cannabis-related jobs in the second year of job losses within the industry, suggesting the market is contracting.
	Basically, they all overestimated the market that existed.
	It's going to lead to tax revenue declines, which couldn't be at a worse time, right?
	Because the tax revenue that they were using to fund the illegals in our, you know, state is a sanctuary city right down there in Denver.
	All that money now Well, there's not going to be a whole lot of money.
	And it's kind of a, I guess, a good thing and a bad thing, right?
	Because I guess the good part, I mean, there's a lot of good parts.
	Hopefully the industry itself will slowly die out.
	I'm not against cannabis because I think there's applications for it where it can be very helpful, especially, you know, medicinally for people who are dealing with pain and other things.
	I could see that as being an alternative to especially big pharma drugs.
	But particularly, it seems the cannabis they make now is so much more powerful and potent than the stuff that was more natural and not like GMO, if you will, all genetically modified type stuff.
	But that aside, we've all seen the decline in culture here in Colorado, and it's been primarily due to the rise in the legalization of cannabis.
	I mean a lot of the people who have come here pursuing a lifestyle where they can imbibe in that Have been the same people who vote for Democrats and vote for liberal policies who, you know, have taken over our state legislature who have, you know, ran for and become governor of the state of Colorado.
	It's really been.
	As much as maybe an economic windfall for the state with all the money came crime and came a lot of other negative things that we should all be very, very careful to be aware of.
	So the way I look at it is quite simple.
	We are facing a moment in time here that we should all be very careful of.
	There's going to be At the end of the day, some very dangerous repercussions from all of this, and we'll see what happens to the Colorado cannabis industry.
	It may just completely collapse or not.
	I don't know.

	And like I said before the break, I want to play a bit of a sermon that I heard this weekend from my pastor, which I think you guys are really going to enjoy.
	But I also want to talk quickly about, you know, what's happening here in Colorado.
	And, you know, like I said in the beginning, there is something to be said about the righteous judgment of God and how it comes in a way that Most people don't even expect or even understand, right?
	When God says, okay, fine, you do it your way and see how that goes, that's when things can go terribly wrong.
	And that's when they do go terribly wrong.
	And this is what we're experiencing, not just here as a nation, but here in the state of Colorado, particularly.
	For at least the third time, the state of Colorado's anti-Christian agenda has been cited and condemned by federal courts.
	Another ruling has just come down that said the state broke the law by excluding Catholic preschools from a universal preschool program solely because those schools consider religious affiliate in making enrollment decisions.
	So, because a Catholic school says that only Catholics can attend, they were being discriminated against by the state, which is just par for the course.
	You know, a lot of this has to do with the pushing of the homosexual, LGBT, demonic agenda, right?
	Which is anti...
	Christian in its nature, they want to impose that upon all, and this is really where we've gotten with the removal of God from our society, right?
	And we've gotten to a point now where we've removed God to a point where I think that our judgment, our condemnation will essentially be God saying, okay, here, you do what you think's right and see how that goes.
	But I want to play a portion of this sermon.
	So my church up in Fort Collins called Front Range Baptist has a pastor, Dean Miller, who's amazing.
	I really do.
	I love our church and I'm very thankful for it.
	But he gave a sermon this Sunday, which I think is particularly clear and concise in what we can do to fix this broken, to fix the situation we're in as a nation.
	On an individual level, and I want to play this here for you.

	I'm not here today to discuss the news.
	We get enough of that.
	But I want to tell you today that America is certainly in crisis.
	And we have some serious problems, do we not?
	How many of you would agree with that?
	We have some serious problems in this country and around the world.
	And the problem is we have leaders around the world and in this country who don't know what to do about it.
	Now, I'm not going to make a political speech today, but we're going to talk about what's going on in our world today is not political.
	It is good versus evil.
	And I'm not going to just give you information.
	I'm going to give you today, I'm going to give you an action plan.
	So many Christians want to know, what do we do?
	What do we do about what's going on in the world today?
	What do we do?
	Well, I'm going to tell you what to do today.
	I'm going to give you Something that you're going to want to do.
	If you know the Lord and you see what this passage of Scripture says, you're going to want to do this today.
	I can promise you that.
	Maybe you didn't know how to do this and exactly how to go about it, but we're going to find what God's Word says about helping and doing something for the country that God has given to us.
	I think about today where we are in our state.
	Just as a people, there is such a lack of character in our world today.
	It's hard to find somebody that can do the job and do it well.
	If you're an employer, it's hard to find people who can show up and do the work.
	It's hard to find people who have a sense of integrity and character about them.
	It seems to me that everyone wants, they want everything for very little.
	Young people today want at 25 what it took their parents until 50 to build.
	And they want it all today.
	And they don't want to pay the price.
	They don't want to work for it.
	And we just have a nation today that just wants to be accepted and approved for whatever they are and whatever they think.
	Everyone else should bow down to that and accept them.
	But I want to tell you today.
	That we, politically, morally, spiritually, economically, in every way, we are a divided nation.
	How many of you believe that?
	We have dangerous enemies that are infiltrating our borders with intent to destroy our freedoms.
	People say, well, America is ripe for judgment.
	Well, I will tell you this today, church.
	America is not only ripe for judgment, we're in it.
	Part of God's judgment, if you ever notice, if you read your Bible, one of the ways that God judges a nation is when He finally just says, okay, you can have your way.
	One of the worst things that God can ever do in your life is for God to let you have your own way.
	And when God says to you, okay, fine, and just leaves you alone, that's a serious issue.
	And that's exactly what God had done to the nation of Israel.
	God had just let her alone.
	And let her run her course.
	And when we come to the book of Daniel, let me tell you where we are.
	Daniel's in Babylon.
	Daniel's under the rule of the Chaldeans.
	Now understand something very carefully.
	Daniel had been taken from his home when he was just a young man.
	Most likely, Daniel and his friends, Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, we know them as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they had all been taken from their homes probably when they were pre-pubescent.
	We're talking about 10, 11, 12 years old.
	They had been taken from their homes and carried away into Babylon.
	And let me tell you what Babylon would do to the people that they took captive.
	The first thing that they would do, and you can read all about this in Daniel chapter 1, the Chaldeans would go into their temples.
	Whatever nation that they conquered, they would go into their temples and they would take their vessels and their items of worship to their gods.
	And they would bring them back to Chaldea and put them in the temple of their gods down out in the desert.
	They'd put their gods saying to these conquered nations, our gods are greater than your gods.
	And they did that to Israel.
	They went into the temple and they took out the holy vessels.
	They took all the things out of the temple.
	And they carried them away and they went and put them in their temple.
	Then what they would do is they would take some of the young children of those that were leaders in the nation, princes, princesses, these kids that were in line for leadership and their parents were in some role of leadership.
	They would take those kids captive.
	In this case, Daniel was one of those boys taken into captivity.
	And what they would do with these young people is they would bring them to Babylon.
	Now here's what that would do.
	They would say to these parents, we have your kids.
	Our God is greater than your God.
	We have your kids.
	So you're going to listen to us.
	Because we have your children.
	And then they would put those children into a three-year training.
	And what would they train them in those three years?
	Number one, they would train them in the language of the Chaldeans.
	Number two, they would train them in the customs and the lifestyle of the Chaldeans, what their culture is.
	And the third thing they would do is they would change their names.
	Now all of this, what it was doing was taking away the identity of these kids.
	They no longer had their name, they no longer had their culture, and they no longer spoke their own language.
	They took away their identity and gave them another identity in Chaldea.
	Many of these young people, one of the things that they would do, and I don't want to get into too much detail on a Sunday morning with this, but one of the things they would do is they would, the Bible calls them eunuchs.
	They would make these young men eunuchs.
	In other words, they would make these men incapable of being able to reproduce and being able to grow into full masculinity and maturity.
	And it was an issue with gender.
	It was an issue with making these young men owned and emasculated in the state of Chaldea.
	Now, are we seeing a lot of this in our world today?
	Yes or no?
	Yes we are.
	And Daniel was in the middle of all that.
	Daniel was living in a foreign land, speaking a foreign language, living in a foreign culture, under a foreign government, And Israel was going to be in this bondage for 70 years.
	They were held captive.
	The children had their identities erased.
	They had their, in some ways, they had their genders manipulated.
	All of these things were taking place in Chaldea.
	You can read it right here in your scriptures in Daniel chapter 1.
	This is not a new thing.
	We're seeing it in our nation.
	It's new in our nation.
	But it's not new under these godless nations like the nation of Chaldea under the direction of Satan.
	These were wicked, vile nations.
	And Daniel was in the middle of that.
	And Daniel had to learn to live and survive in this land.
	And Daniel, if you know, Daniel rose to power in this land.
	Never because he compromised.
	Daniel never compromised.
	In fact, you remember when Daniel got thrown in the lion's den because Daniel was told he couldn't pray.
	And so Daniel opened up the windows and prayed.
	And Daniel went down in the lion's den, slept like a baby.
	It was the king who was pacing around and couldn't sleep that night.
	And Daniel was fine.
	God knows how to protect his people even in places like Babylon.
	Now I will just tell you, as a church today, that's where we are.
	We are God's people living in a foreign land.
	We are strangers and pilgrims in this land.
	We are being, in a lot of ways, held captive in this land by the whims of the culture.
	And the culture today is in very much State as it was in the days of Daniel.
	And Daniel was living in these days.
	And what did Daniel do?
	Daniel longed for the days of his nation when they had the temple of God, and the presence of God, and the power of God.
	But Israel had long let that ship sail.
	And the priesthood had become corrupted.
	The nation had followed other gods.
	They had turned their back on God.
	The nation had gone into a spiritual darkness and death.
	Until they were overcome by their enemies and became captive.
	And you listen to me.
	That's exactly what happens in every person's life when you get away from God and you begin to drift in your spiritual life.
	Let me tell you something.
	Other things will take you captive.
	You're going to serve somebody.
	Jesus said, no man can serve two masters.
	Well, somebody said, well, I don't want to serve a master.
	Well, you're going to serve somebody.
	You're either going to serve sin and self and Satan and this world.
	You're going to serve somebody or you're going to serve Christ.
	And if you come to Him and you serve Him, let me tell you, He is meek and lowly.
	His burden is light and His yoke is easy.
	You're going to enjoy being a servant of Jesus Christ.
	That's what Daniel was.
	Daniel was living in the land of Babylon, living in this corrupt world.
	And Daniel knew it was time for a revolution.
	But Daniel did not try to overthrow the government.
	Daniel said, we're going to have a spiritual revolution.
	Daniel was living in modern-day Iraq.
	More precisely, Daniel was living in modern-day Kurdistan, up in the lands of the Medes and the Persians.
	And Israel was a nation that had Turned its back on God and was now fully under the captivity of Babylon, the world, the flesh, the devil.
	And without a spiritual revival, listen to me, without a spiritual revival, there was no hope.
	Listen to me very carefully, church.
	We are not going to politically get ourselves out of the mess that we're in as a nation.
	We're not going to economically get ourselves out of the mess we are as a nation.
	It is going to be a spiritual victory.
	Now you better get this down plain and in your heart.
	We need a spiritual revival in our world today.
	And it starts with me, and it starts with you, and it starts in every heart of every Christian.
	We need a spiritual renewal, and we need to be praying for a spiritual revolution.
	That God will do something that only God can do to turn the nation around.
	Well, there you go folks.

	It has to be a spiritual renewal.

	And what that can do for us as a nation.

	Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
	I'm your host, Craig James, and we're listening to a portion of a sermon that I heard this Sunday at our church in Fort Collins, a Front Range Baptist with Pastor Dean Miller, an An amazing sermon and he's talking about comparing what we're facing today to what Daniel faced when the Babylonians took over Israel and what that looked like and how it's very similar to what we're seeing here today.
	But there's a solution, and I want you to hear this.
	This is the part of the sermon that is giving us, I believe, a direction on what we can do to overcome.
	The same thing that Daniel did, we can do to overcome what's happening in our nation today.
	So I'm going to speak today on how you can pray for your country.
	How can you pray for your country?
	We listen to talk radio, we listen to podcasts, we watch the news, and we just get frustrated.
	We're inundated with all this information, all this bad.
	No matter what side of the aisle you would find yourself on politically, You're always going to hear about how the other guy is the bad guy, and they're destroying the nation, and we always leave those talk shows, those news hours, we always leave them frustrated, wondering, who's going to fix all this?
	Well, let me tell you something.
	It's time for you and I to say, God, I'm going to do something.
	I'm going to do something about the condition of our nation.
	I want you to remember this, that God is merciful.
	And that God would much rather forgive than to destroy.
	Do you not remember the story of Jonah?
	That was why Jonah was mad.
	Jonah wasn't mad because he got swallowed by a whale.
	Jonah wasn't mad because God had a worm eat up his gourd.
	Jonah wasn't mad because he was out and living on the side of a ditch.
	Let me tell you why Jonah was mad.
	Jonah was mad because he knew God was going to forgive those Ninevites.
	And he said, God, I knew you were going to do this.
	You sent me here to pronounce judgment on them.
	But I knew what you were.
	I knew that in your heart there was mercy.
	And if they turned to you, you would forgive them.
	And I didn't want you to forgive those heathens.
	I wanted you to destroy them.
	Now let me tell you something.
	Aren't you glad God doesn't destroy always?
	If God destroyed those who deserved it, he'd have destroyed me a long time ago.
	Thank God that he remembers mercy.
	And so here's what Daniel did.
	Look at Daniel chapter 9.
	Look at verse number 1.
	In the first year of Darius, the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans, in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood by books the number of the years.
	Now, what books was that?
	It was the book of Jeremiah, number 1, and some of the other prophets that Jeremiah had been reading.
	So let me just tell you something right now.
	Listen to me.
	Daniel went to the Word of God.
	And Daniel started reading the Word of God.
	Now, I want to tell you something.
	Christians, listen to me.
	It is time for some of us to turn off the television, log out of our social medias, and just get ourselves in the Bible.
	I didn't give very many amens there.
	Let me ask you a question today.
	How many of you believe everything that you hear on the news?
	Would you raise your hand?
	Everything you hear on the news, would you believe?
	Okay, let me ask you another question.
	How many of you believe everything that you read on Facebook?
	How many of you believe everything you read on Facebook?
	How many of you believe that everything that you read on X, formerly known as Twitter, how many of you believe everything on there is true?
	Okay?
	How many believe every word of this book is the inspired and errant Word of God?
	Okay?
	Now, put your hand down and watch over here right now.
	Which one do you spend the most time with?
	Now, we'll say, this is true!
	We pick it up when we go to church on Sunday.
	Daniel got into the Word of God.
	Now, listen to me, church.
	We need some people today who get into the Word of God.
	Young people, you need to learn to get into the Word of God and get the Word of God in you.
	Get your roots down into the Word of God.
	Let the Word of God come up through the roots and up through the trunk and into the branches and it'll bring out fruit into your life that you'll never understand.
	You'll be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bring forth its fruit in its season.
	His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
	You hear me?
	You want to live a successful, prosperous life?
	Get your life in the Word of God, and let God teach you His Word.
	Daniel got into the Bible, and watch what happened when Daniel got into the Bible.
	Verse number 2, I understood by The books wherefore, verse number two, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolation of Jerusalem.
	So he learned some hope.
	He said, okay, I just learned in the word of God that God's going to leave us here for 70 years.
	And Daniel started doing some calculation on when that was going to be, when God was going to bring us out of captivity.
	And he's beginning to realize we're coming up on that time.
	We're going to get out of here.
	God's only going to give us 70 years of this and we're going to get out of here.
	So I'm going to have to use my time now to get myself prepared for when God brings me out.
	Watch what he did.
	Verse number 3.
	And I set my face unto the Lord God to seek my prayer and supplication with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.
	And prayed unto the Lord my God and made my confession and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant of mercy to them that love Him and to them that keep His commandments.
	We have sinned and have committed iniquity and have done wickedly.
	Now let me just tell you this very carefully.
	He is not praying about the wickedness of Babylon.
	He's praying about the wickedness of God's people.
	we hearkened unto thy servant, the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings and our princesses and our fathers and to all the people of the land.
	Now, let me just tell you this very carefully.
	He is not praying about the wickedness of Babylon.
	He's praying about the wickedness of God's people.
	Chaldeans will always Chaldee.
	Babylonians, Babylon. - Come on.
	Listen, but it's a problem when Christians start chaldean.
	Everybody understand that?
	So Daniel began to pray, God, listen, look at our sin.
	We have not listened to your word.
	We've heard from the prophets, but we didn't listen to the prophets.
	We've heard your word, but we didn't hearken to your word.
	God, forgive us of our sin.
	Now look down at verse number 7.
	Oh Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces.
	At this day, everybody look right up here this way.
	How many of you understand, and I'm not being mean, I'm not being a sarcastic pundit on television, I'm not being some partisan hack, I'm not being a scoffer online, but I'm just being truthful and I'm just telling you what I'm observing with my own eyes and ears.
	How many of you understand that there is nothing in our leadership today, I'm talking about from the president down, how many of you understand there's nothing but confusion of faces everywhere?
	Well, where did we get that?
	God gave us confusion of faces.
	God gave us confusion because when you get out of doing things God's way, you're left to nothing but confusion.
	And Daniel said, Lord, righteousness, the right way belongs to you, but to us confusion.
	And so Daniel began to pray.
	Now look over here very quickly.
	We're going to come back to some of this in just a minute.
	But look down in verse number 17.
	Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate.
	That's back in Jerusalem.
	The temple that had been destroyed.
	He said, God, bring back your face.
	Let your face shine on that sanctuary.
	And he said, For the Lord's sake, O my God, incline thine ear, and hear, open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name.
	For we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
	O Lord, hear!
	O Lord, forgive.
	O Lord, hearken and do.
	Defer not.
	That means delay not for thine own sake.
	O my God, for thy city and thy people that are called by thy name.
	Here's Daniel praying a prayer of a true patriot.
	And I want to tell you today, if you love this country, while the country is celebrating pride, we need to have a nation of Christians who have humility before God.
	For God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.
	And if my people, which are called by my name, will Humble themselves and pray.
	In this month of pride, I can't think of anything else better to bring to God's people than this.
	We better humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God.
	And if you humble yourself, the Lord will exalt you.
	You let God deal with this pride.
	God will deal with it.
	We better be humble and we better pray.
	How do you pray for your country?
	Listen, here it is.
	This is an action plan today.
	Number one, Alright, that's what it is.
	Prayer.
	Prayer and supplication.
	Fasting and giving it to the Lord.
	That's how we fix all of this.
	That's what I wanted to share with you today.

	I'm your host Craig James and we're listening to a bit of an excerpt from The sermon that I heard this weekend at my church, Front Range Baptist in Fort Collins, Colorado with Pastor Dean Miller.
	I think he gave a great sermon talking about what we do, how we overcome And I'm sharing this with you because I really do believe that this is an important sermon.
	I mean, specifically for anybody out there who's thinking, what do we do?
	How do we overcome this?
	I get that question more than I get pretty much any other question over the last several years.
	What can we do?
	And this is it.
	This is it.
	So let's listen a little bit more here to Pastor Miller's explanation on what to do, how to do it.
	Pray.
	How do you pray for your country?
	Listen, here it is.
	This is an action plan today.
	Number one, you need to pray with focus.
	Everybody say that with me out loud.
	Ready?
	Pray with...
	Alright, say that again.
	Pray with... You better pray with focus.
	Look back at chapter 9.
	Look at verse 3.
	And I set my face unto the Lord God to seek by prayer and supplication with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.
	Notice what he did.
	I set my face to seek God.
	I set my face to seek God.
	What did Daniel do?
	Daniel sought God.
	He set his face.
	Listen.
	Prayer, powerful prayer, is not in how long you pray, and how sweet you pray, and how eloquent you pray, how argumentative your prayer is.
	Listen to me, God hears the prayer that is a prayer of faith, and a prayer of fervency, and it is a prayer that is from, I am setting my face to pray.
	When's the last time you got on your knees?
	And you just said, I am going to stay here until God hears my prayer.
	I'm going to seek His face.
	I'm going to seek His face.
	When we pray for our nation, we need to pray with fervency.
	And we need to say, Lord, forgive us.
	I want to come into your presence.
	Lord, I want your face to shine on me.
	And I'm going to pray with faith and fervency.
	Listen, today we have churches that are just playing.
	We're not praying.
	And we're not praying with tears.
	We're not praying with fasting.
	We're not praying with fervency.
	People are giving today, but we're giving without sacrifice.
	And no wonder, if we're praying without fasting, and we're giving without sacrifice, and we're witnessing without tears, and all of these things, no wonder that we're sowing without reaping.
	We're not reefing today.
	But God wants us to have, because we're not sowing as God wants us to sow.
	Notice what Daniel said here.
	Daniel said, I set my face to pray, and he said, I did it with fasting.
	Now I'll just tell you something, I'll tell you what's missing.
	We don't hear much about fasting today.
	We don't hear many sermons on fasting, but Jesus expected us to fast.
	In Matthew chapter 6 and verse 5 and 6, when Jesus was teaching about prayer, Jesus said, When thou prayest, He didn't say if you pray, He said when you pray.
	Thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are, for they love to pray standing in the synagogue and in the corner of the street.
	"...that they may be seen of men.
	Verily I say to you, they have their reward.
	Moreover, when you fast, be not as the hypocrites of a sad countenance, for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.
	For I say to you, they have their reward." Hey, what is fasting?
	What does it mean to fast in prayer?
	Fasting is going without food or perhaps even going without sleep or going without certain pleasures for a spiritual purpose.
	Fasting is throughout all of the scripture.
	You're going to find fasting from the Old Testament into the New Testament all the way to the end.
	You're going to find fasting that it was part of what God said.
	People went without things so that they could find God.
	Why is it?
	Why does God do that?
	Because oftentimes it's those things that we have in our life that are keeping us from God.
	Fasting is a spiritual string tied around your finger.
	And every time you get that hunger pain, it's a reminder to seek God's face in prayer.
	That I need God more than I need that Whopper.
	I need God more than I need that Oreo cookie.
	Fasting is always linked with spiritual activities.
	For instance, the Bible says fasting in prayer, fasting in watching, fasting in worshiping.
	Now let me just tell you, God says, why?
	God answers the question, why we should fast?
	Why we should fast?
	And by the way, why you fast is more important than how you fast or what you fast from.
	It's impossible to fast for the wrong reasons.
	We found here, Jesus said, those guys, they want to be seen of men.
	I've seen people like that.
	Well, oh brother, I can't, you know, they get real sad.
	I said, but you want to eat something?
	Oh no, I'm fasting.
	Well, there you go.
	You have your reward.
	Why does He want us to fast?
	What are some of the wrong reasons of fasting?
	Well, self-centeredness.
	Ritualism.
	The Pharisees said, I fast twice in the week and we have a ritual of fasting.
	He said, I want you to fast by avoiding legalism.
	God never requires it.
	God never demanded that you, as a legal way, hear from God because you have to fast.
	It's not an issue of legalism, and it's certainly not egotism.
	Our motive should be tied to one thing, and that is, I need God.
	I need God.
	As the deer panteth for the water brook, so my heart panteth after thee, my God.
	A hungering and thirsting.
	Listen, God gave us hunger and God gave us thirst.
	Natural appetites.
	God gave us these things.
	Why?
	They keep us alive.
	Now listen to me, there are some appetites in your life That may be keeping you from God.
	And God says, I want you to fast.
	Learn to fast.
	What will fasting do?
	Fasting will strengthen your prayer life.
	In Joel chapter 2, the Bible says, Therefore also now saith the Lord, Turn ye even to me with all your heart.
	With fasting and with weeping and with mourning, it'll strengthen your prayer life.
	In Jeremiah, chapter 29, God called the nation of Israel to a fast, and they fasted, and God said, because of that fast, I'm going to bring you to an expected end.
	I'm going to bring you to a plan that I have for you, and it strengthened their prayer life.
	I'll tell you what else fasting can do.
	Fasting destroys selfishness.
	You know, I know this is America, 2024, but let me just tell you, we are slaves to the refrigerator.
	Are we not?
	We're slaves to our appetite, and we have selfishness.
	We don't know how to say no to ourselves.
	Let me ask you a very powerful question.
	It's a simple question, but a powerful question.
	When's the last time you told yourself no about anything?

	It is the last segment of the show.

	Okay, so our final segment, of course, is always our God's Grace is a Greater segment, and I know I just played a sermon for the last few segments here, but I think that that was a very important one to listen to.
	It really did speak to how we fix this nation.
	That's through prayer, right?
	And fasting, and really giving ourselves to God, but making a sacrifice for God that He sees in our lives that is something that we can use as A way to connect closer and to call out to His name.
	So let's read a little bit here.
	We're in the book of Psalms.
	Psalm 100 to be specific.
	And what do you know?
	We're on Psalm 100 by Serendipity of God and it's talking about being thankful and it says this.
	It's a very short Psalm.
	I think it might be the shortest Psalm.
	It says, Shout triumphantly to the Lord of all the earth.
	Serve the Lord with gladness.
	Come before Him with joyful songs.
	Acknowledge that Yahweh is God, He made us, and we are His, His people, the sheep of His pasture.
	Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
	Give thanks to Him and praise His name, for Yahweh is good and His love is eternal.
	His faithfulness endures through all generations.
	And that's literally what we are called to do.
	Prayer is not just about calling on God to do something for us.
	Prayer is also about opening a line of communication to thank God for what we have.
	Yes, this world has fallen.
	Yes, a lot of things seem like they are going in a direction where there is no coming back, but That is not true.
	God is in control.
	And for all of us out there who got up this morning, who have breath in our lungs, who have blessings that we don't even really think about every day, like a home to sleep in, a family who loves us, and things that other people may take for granted, don't take it for granted.
	Give thanks.
	And that's why I want to end with a prayer here on air.
	Lord and Heavenly Father, I pray for us together as a nation, Lord.
	I pray that you'll forgive us for our sin of falling away from you, walking away from you.
	God, I pray that you'll open our hearts and help show us a way forward where we can redeem ourselves before you as a nation and come back and repent.
	And Lord, I pray that you'll give each of us discernment on what we can do to help in your kingdom, growing it and making it better.
	God, we give ourselves to you, and we thank you for this day and every day.
	And, Lord, I pray and thanks most of all for our eternal salvation.
	In Jesus' name, amen.
	All right, well, I'm glad we were able to pray today.
	I'm going to start trying to do that more regularly, because I do it every day, pretty much all day, to a degree.
	I mean, a lot.
	But I don't do it on air enough, and I think we need to do it together.
	Our prayer is powerful.
	We can do great things together with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
	That's where I'm going to leave it.
