Brian Davidson is helping family members move this weekend, so it's just going to be me and the news.
Let's take a look at those topics, and whatever opening statement I have will be embedded within my discussion of the stories and the topics.
Wars and rumors of wars, Trump facts and optics, war or peace, and one UK update, former FBI Director Comey.
Or at least the actor playing him.

And from COVID lies and crimes to recognize crimes against humanity and a demand for Maha?
And who are our opponents in AMREF-2, World War III?
And what kind of a war is this?
Let's go to our first topic of wars and rumors of wars.
Russia promises to double down if Ukraine does not take the offer on the table.
Now, this is interesting.
A lot of drama.
The Russians have had the same terms from the beginning.
No NATO for Ukraine.
Independence for the Donbass.
And that's not good enough for the NATO.
And Ukraine is really a puppet, so it's not good enough.
They want World War III.
Putin says Ukraine catching men like dogs on the street.
There have been various coverages of this.

Regarding Israel, this is worthwhile.
Is Israel committing genocide on the Palestinians?

According to Amnesty, who published a 296-page report published in December 2024, backed by forensic evidence, they say Israel is committing a genocide.
Your response to that?
It's a bunch of liars and lies.
So you don't believe Amnesty, you don't believe Human Rights Watch, UN experts are discredited.
Now some of Israel's most respected Holocaust scholars accuse your government of genocide.

Professor Amos Goldberg, you know him well, I presume, a leading Israeli Holocaust historian wrote, Yes, it is genocide.
It is difficult and painful to admit, but after six months of brutal war, we can no longer avoid this conclusion.
This is one of the most respected Jewish scholars saying that your government is committing genocide.

You've been there for most of the day.
Just give us a sense of what it was like in the room, the sort of energy we talked about, sort of it really was highly charged energy in there.
Absolutely.
Well, first of all, thank you for having me, Yelda.
In terms of energy, I can only describe it as a rock star reception, and it has a lot to do with Donald Trump's persona.
But also the messages that he delivered in his speech.
I think the real speech of Donald Trump is going to go down in history, at least in this part of the world, as a very favorable speech.
He did pass on several very important messages.
First of all, he appeared as a true statesman and a man of peace.
I know that's not what perhaps many people might associate him with.
The words are out there, and he did offer Iran an olive branch.
He did lift the sanctions on Syria.
He did say the Palestinians deserve better.
He did say they're working hard with their new ambassador to help rebuild Lebanon.
That's going to go and resonate very well in the region.
Second point he made was acknowledging U.S. foreign policy mistakes in the region, whether it's by the neocons or the liberals, the interventionist policy which has caused miserable failure.
And last but certainly not least, the acknowledgement of the success story in the GCC, mainly Saudi Arabia, of course, but he also talked about the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, and emphasized that this is a homegrown success story, a model that America is very happy to support and partner, and almost like renewing vows.
As you know, this is, when we talk about the Saudi-U.S.
relationship, we're talking about 80 years of history, and America has always pledged to come to Saudi's defense if needed be.
This now goes beyond reiterating that pledge to saying that America is wholeheartedly, at least under this administration, Well, it's nice, and Trump made a nice speech.
I have to back it up with action.
Now, for this, for the Saudis...

And the key takeaway from both of those cases, there has been no justice for the victims, and almost no arrests made in either of these high-profile cases.

And next, going from COVID health, lies and crimes to recognized crimes against humanity.

Funded, architectured, excavated, plumbed, wired in two years.
Hundreds of buildings, and I believe this was well over a thousand acres.
So these are a lot of examples of these huge doors, and that raises the question.
