The alternative to this vision is that Israel could be forced to return Palestinian territory, previously illegally occupied by Israel to Palestine, and the Gazans could relocate there until Israel and Washington, at their expense, rebuild Gaza, which could become a resort area.

And I have to ask, how does Israel have the legal authority to give Gaza to anyone?
They are invaders.

Israel has no entitlement under the law to the lands of Palestine.
Yet, President Trump Friday, today, Asserting Gaza will be given to the U.S. by Israel, expanding on his plan for an American takeover of the war-torn region that he suggests involves a permanent relocation of Palestinians.
A controversial proposal stands to append decades of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
When asked of the proposal Friday, the president told reporters, Gaza will be given to us by Israel.
And said his proposal to take responsibility for the Gaza Strip currently under Hamas control has been very well received.
By whom?
We don't want to see everybody move out and then move back in 10 years, Trump added.
But leads of regional Arab nation, leaders of regional Arab nation, and even some Trump's Republican allies appeared lukewarm to the proposal.
Trump has suggested Gaza be cleaned out, but offered no details on such a takeover would be logistically implemented.
Indeed, there's reason to think this is a reflection of the failure of the IDF to take control of Gaza.
Moreover, Trump is now coming to grips with the reality, and I don't know if he really understood the fact of the matter.
Of imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court.

In my opinion, this is about as dumb a thing as Trump could possibly have done other than wanting to take possession of Gaza.

Last year, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu over alleged war crimes in Gaza, which Israel denies.

We've seen them happen before our very eyes.
This is the first genocide to be broadcast worldwide on television, as well as a Hamas commander.
The U.S. has condemned the court's shameful moral equivalency between Israel and Hamas.

The U.S. and Israel do not recognize the authority of the ICC, the only global court with powers to prosecute individuals for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
It has also previously launched investigation into U.S. citizens.
The ICC counts 125 member states around the world, including the U.K. and many European nations.
It is absolutely outrageous.
This is embarrassing.
This make me question Trump's capacity to lead the nation in spite of all the good things he's been doing.
Moreover, he's now announced he's going to sign an executive order to make Attorney General Pambani the head of a task force.

Well, now, there's a good idea, if ever I heard one, during an interview with Piers Morgan.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky suggested NATO countries should supply his nation with nuclear weapons to deter Russia.
Not content with billions in arms and munitions are he sent his way.
Zelensky implied that the West should give him more.
Speaking of being a future member of NATO, which of course is absolutely verboten for Russia, it will never happen.
The Ukrainian leader stated, NATO is not today, but at some time in the future.
Then in the process, when we go into NATO, all the time we are waiting, no matter how long it takes.
And unfortunately, it does not depend on us.
He continued, if the process is protracted for years or decades, not because of us, but because of partners.
And we have absolutely just question.
What will be defending us against the evil for the whole time on this whole path?
Meaning, of course, Russia.
What support package?
Which missiles?
Will we be given nuclear weapons?

U.S. President Donald Trump will try to force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire with Russia by Easter under a peace plan, according to a report.
Trump is long claimed to be able to negotiate it into the brutal invasion of Ukraine.
It wasn't a brutal invasion.
It was a defensive to defend the people of the Donbass.
We're about to be subjected to a massive slaughter akin to what the Israelis have been doing to the Palestinians in Gaza in a single day.
It's seeking to be working to end the war within 100 days.
The unconfirmed plans reported by a Ukrainian outlet, Strana, have been Making the rounds in political and diplomatic circles in Ukraine.
It will include a ceasefire by April 29th.
That would freeze Russia's steady advance in a ban on Ukraine from joining NATO. According to Newsweek, it would include a demand for Kiev to accept Russian sovereignty on annexed land.
Zelensky has denied the existence of such a plan.
On top of this.
Ukrainian troops will be made to leave Russia's Kursk region, launch the counteroffensive in August, while a contingent of European soldiers, which could include British troops, will be asked to police a demilitarized zone.
American troops would not be involved in this contingent.
The EU will reportedly be asked to assist Ukraine in reconstruction, which might cost as much as $486 billion over the next decade, according to the German Marshall Fund thin tank.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has denied the existence of the C-4 plan.
White House has yet to officially comment on it, but it looks to me like something that Vladimir Putin might agree to, and therefore, I believe.
This is based upon back-channel discussions and communication with Putin.
It guarantees Ukraine not enter NATO.
It gives Russia control ownership of the territories, including the Crimea, that it's presently occupying.
It gets Ukrainian troops out of Kursk, actually no doubt out of all the territories.
It's basically going to lead, I think, even to a demilitarization.
And notice, reconstruction is to be paid for by the EU. I think that looks very reasonable.

He'll ask, might Trump become Ukraine's liberator?
In February 2023, Russian President Putin was facing a choice.
He could either be the Don of the Don Pass and beg its riches, or he could become the Tsar of Crimea and militarily dominate the Black Sea.
So far, Putin has failed to do either.
Though his armies continue to make incremental gains in East Ukraine, the Don Pass is far from secure, and the Russian Black Sea Fleet has been forced to flee its ports in Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
Putin may face an added problem.
President Trump may be preparing to deny him both by saying himself as the unlikely liberator of Ukraine.
History occasionally likes its plot twists.
On Monday, Trump indicated he wants to strike a $300 billion deal with Ukrainian President Zelensky declaring, we're looking to do a deal with Ukraine where they're going to secure what we're giving them with rare earths and other things.
Notably, by late Monday evening, Reuters reported U.S. had resumed military equipment and ammunition shipments to Ukraine thus far.
No new military aid packages have been announced.
However, it is significant that Trump, at least for now, is willing to continue backstopping the armed forces of Ukraine.
Yes, troubling development.
But I like that ceasefire proposal.
Actually, it would be the basis that I think Vladimir Putin could agree to.

It paid $2.5 million for electric vehicles in Vietnam.
Funded a $30 million study on transgender sex workers in Africa.
In addition, it gave $500,000 to expand atheism in Nepal and $2.27 million for integration gift bags for illegal immigrants deported back to Latin America.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
