Need to Know News (11 July 2022) with Joe Olson and Carl Herman

This is Jim Fetzer, where I'm joined today by Joe Olson from Houston and Carl Herman from San Ramon, California, to bring you all the news you need to know.
We begin with a situation in Sri Lanka.
The president is quitting after the palace was stormed by angry protesters.
This is a very significant development.
People are rising up against a global reset and the food shortages and the rest of it.
Sir Lankan President announced he stepped down late Saturday night after thousands rushed his official office and residence earlier in the day.
He's taken refuge at an undisclosed location, some suggesting he may be aboard a naval ship.
Sir Lankan Prime Minister tweeted he will resign as well.
To ensure the continuity of the government, including the safety of all citizens, I accept the best recommendation of the party leaders today to make way for an all-party government.
To facilitate this, I will resign as prime minister.
The Sri Lankan constitution says if the prime minister and the president resign, the parliamentary speaker assumes power for a month.
Footage shows tens of thousands swarming the presidential palace.
Social unrest comes as the country has suffered runaway inflation, shortage of food and fuel after depleting foreign exchange reserves.
Thousands of protesters stormed the Sri Lankan president's office as part of an anti-government demonstration calling for his resignation following the country's economic collapse.
Demonstrators marched at Sri Lanka's commercial capital.
They jumped security fences, overran the president's security forces.
He was evacuated around 10 a.m.
The president was escorted to safety, said his secretary.
He is still the president and being protected by a military unit.
Footage set to be of the President playing Sri Lanka aboard a naval vessel.
Footage uploaded to social media from his residence showed thousands of protesters.
This is a fascinating development.
Prime Minister held emergency talk with party leaders before the parliament speaker during the unrest to decide what was next in the worsening socioeconomic crisis in a country of 22 million.
Lawmakers asked him, the president, to relinquish his power to allow a new leader to retain control and find a resolution to high inflation and food shortages that have angered people, which will not be easily done.
The debt lane economy of the tiny South Asian land has completely collapsed.
It lacks foreign exchange reserves to import essentials like food and fuel.
Even though the government held talks with IMF India, China, and Japan for a new credit line, and even with Russia, They entered a terminal phase of socialist unrest, which is spinning out of control.
Here you see a history of how it all developed, where the COVID crisis made a major difference, where the nation is $51 billion in debt, it has an inflation rate of 39%, its foreign currency is at a limit of $50 million, Yeah, protests that are becoming increasingly violent.
People are queuing for entire days to get food and fuel.
The crisis carries the potential for an Arab Spring-style eruption across other countries that could morph into an Everywhere Spring, as people everywhere are angered by high inflation and shortages of food and fuel.
It could eclipse a revolution of 2011 spread across the Arabic-speaking world due to high food prices.
Everyone's favorite perma-bar, Soch Gen's Albert Edwards, first warned about the consequences of central banks injecting record amounts of money into the global economy in late 2020, and how it could spark soaring food prices similar to 2011.
where social unrest and revolution were seen in many Arab countries.
His prediction appears to be playing out.
It could be much worse than a decade ago, since so much of the world is experiencing economic hardship, and what some believe is the emergence of stagflation.
Joe, your thoughts?
Yes, well, there's a few other little elements that they don't tell you, Sri Lanka's primary income was tourism, and they were the first ones to jump on board with, you cannot visit our country unless you're fully jabbed, and we're going to make our country the first in the world that's fully jabbed, and they are 77% fully jabbed.
And when you have that many people that have been fully jabbed for a year, year and a half, people start dropping dead everywhere.
And that's probably another little thing that's inciting these folks, because they realize this is one of the things that their government did to them.
But we also had Bojo resigning, which we'll get to in a little more detail in a little while.
It looks like Ziolinski's fixing to get chopped.
I'm expecting a coup over there anytime now because he's just doing absolutely abysmal things.
And New York Times and Washington Post are starting to stab FJB in the back, so maybe we're going to get a little kind of a coup thing going in this country, too.
It would be time.

Wow, an increase of the events coming.
So the article, the tens of thousands, not hundreds of thousands, and as Joe mentioned, they exclude that fact about the COVID restrictions.
But what they did say is that the sparks for this overthrow of the government were Really a collapse of a criminal regime is inflation.
Inflation is endemic in every system in our corrupt global empire.
Carl B. Herman blogs about any of these shows, the looting trillion sections.
I'll explain that to you, is that what we have is an oligarchic pyramid scheme where they create what is used for money as debt owed back to them with interest.
That creates a structure of Escalating exponential debt, and that's why they need to collapse that into the Great Reset.
People may not understand the factual background, but they certainly feel the increase of the inflation.
The idea, the article mentioned a shortage of food.
Yes, in the U.S.
today we're getting the destruction of food processing.
Plants were having Bill Gates buy up the farmland, and we're having Monsanto make sure they poison everything with Roundup.
People may not again appreciate all the facts, but they feel it in the background.
And the article mentioned the problem with fuel.
Yes, the U.S.
too.
So all we're going to get from these criminal leaders are excuses why they need to cut back.
And they're cutting back because they're trying to strangle us, they're trying to kill us, they're trying to cull us, they got to win this war before they are.
So I'm very optimistic about what's going on.
Oh yeah, and one other lie of that article, although it's good to include because that's a breaking event, is that they're talking about the possibility of a global Arab Spring.
The Arab Spring is CIA, UK, NATO color revolutionized overthrows in order to put puppets like Zelensky into power.
So, man, we keep saying it, but this is the most encouraging with the explosion of revealing events.
And of course, we're just hoping for the victory, for the breakthrough, so that the full truth can be shown.
And of course, that allusion was meant to be for a real revolution, Joe, you wanted to add.
Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Then we also have the fact that Le Pen ended up taking a majority in the House in France, so Macron is a lame duck.
And it looks like Olaf Schultz is getting ready to get the can in Germany.
He made a deal with the Greens that are only 15% of the voters in Germany, and he went all in with the Green thing.
And now Russia is saying, well, we couldn't get our Siemens gas compressor back from Canada because of the sanctions, and we've already scheduled maintenance on the remaining systems that feed the Nordstrom 1 system, and you haven't allowed us to use Nordstrom 2.
So we had done a 40% reduction in gas now for 10 days, and we told you this for months.
We're going to completely shut off Russian gas to Europe.
So live in the dark.
Yeah, it's stunning stuff.
Absolutely stunning stuff.
My point was that allusion to the Arab Spring was on the assumption that something legitimate like that could occur, not that it would be a CIA hop.
Meanwhile, the Abe assassination has drawn a lot of attention.
James Corbett had a nice piece about it, which I republished on my blog with the following note.
Scott Bennett and I suspect this may have been another state shooting or false flag for several reasons, including A. No response by Abe when initially shot, none to the first kneeling to the ground after the second.
B. There ought to have been considerable blood, but even when he's lifted up from the ground, there's no blood beneath him.
We are going to take a closer look.
This does not look right to either of us more to come.
Notice him lying there, a little bit of blood on his shirt, but notice there's no gushing from the neck.
There's no, he's supposed to have been shot in the neck.
On Friday, April 8, July 2022, Shinzo Abe was in Nara delivering a stump speech ahead of elections in Japan's upper house taking place yesterday.
His speech was interrupted by two loud booms coming from the street behind him, accompanied by large puffs of smoke.
The assailant was wrestled to the ground and taken away by security, as the BBC reported it.
Shots rang out and Abhi was shot twice in the neck.
He immediately collapsed and rushed to the nearest hospital.
Tackled the gunman, now in custody, unidentified weapon filmed on the ground.
After four hours of treatment, pronounced dead at 1703 local.
That, of course, would be 503.
The assailant, a 41-year-old Tetsuya Yamagami, did not attempt to escape.
He was arrested and is being interrogated.
The gun he's used was described as a bizarre homemade firearm.
Various pictures have been published.
It had two steel cones here connected with black powder.
They were fired.
I'm skeptical as to whether this could actually function, but it was like a miniature homemade sawed-off shotgun.
They found other handmade weapons.
This one has nine different barrels.

I find all this very, very strange when, of course, in Japan, weapons are not allowed at all in hands other than the military and the police.
While Abe was a former prime minister, having stepped down in 2020, and here you see him at the World Economic Forum, where Abe, like Justin Trudeau, like Boris Johnson, like Emmanuel Macron, were all world economic leaders of the future, he was still very much, of course, in Japanese politics, retaining a seat in the Diet and exerting great influence in the Liberal Democratic Party.
His maternal grandfather served as PM from 57 to 60, known as the Monster of the Showa Era for his brutal rule over Manchuria in the 1930s, which likely accounted for his first appointment as PM in 2006.
I was invited by Scorpio to join his show on Saturday, and we discussed this, including the video clip, which I've had trouble downloading.
So let's pick it up here and see what we had to say. - Curious official tackled the gunman in custody, an unidentified weapon filled on the ground.

You see him standing there and then they immediately cut to the shooter being on the ground.

But you know, I've watched that video multiple times, Jim, after reading that account from the BBC.
And if he were shot in the neck, he would have grabbed his neck and he reaches down for his abdomen kind of thing.
So, it clearly was not shot in the neck.
Yeah, I don't think such shots.

Yeah, he just kind of like goes to his, he kind of like, yeah, let's play it again.

And then the second one, he like, kind of, you know, if you were really, really mortally wounded with a shot, you don't carefully go to your knees, you collapse.
And watch how he kind of like, I'm a little older, I'm going to slowly go down to my knees kind of thing.

It's almost like he's kneeling in prayer.

He doesn't... I mean, he's not... I thought he was reaching, but he's not reaching for anything.
He's just kind of like kneeling down to... Yeah, that's very ponderous.

I can't get in front of absolutely every conspiracy, but the ones that involve science and history, I can definitely deal with.

I did have two callers on my show today when I discuss this, claiming that Benjamin Fulvert said it was real and that they had another video and you could see it really was shot, but I mean, I'm going to look at this new evidence, but I frankly think this was a staged event.
Carl, your thoughts?
Yeah, by all appearances, it looks staged to me, too.
First of all, as the historian, I gotta say, in the background, when you get huge lies for the assassination of political leaders like JFK, RFK, MLK, and according to Benjamin Holford, several of the PMs in Japan, as well as other power leaders that attempted to buck The power control of the United States.
So there are no liars.
And then the official statement says he was shot twice.
And the film evidence, he wasn't shot the first time for sure.
Because even if if you get shot by a BB pellet, it's like you you jump, you flinch, you're grabbing something, but he's just looking around.
So there's no evidence of that.
And for the second one, if If you are going to bleed out, there is going to be an explosion of blood.
It is instant.
And there's no evidence of any blood.
And the dude's wearing a white shirt as well.
And I believe the age of the guy is 67.
So he's standing on a little soapbox.
And if the script said you're going to be shot, And then, you know, I'm 62.
You guys are just a tad older.
You're going to be, if we had to get down on the ground from the soapbox, then we're going to do it in stages, gentlemen.
And I think that's what he did.
And there was that, you know, rail guard that kind of shows it and that film evidence that would be from Abe's right side.
That the camera goes down and you lose that whole scene, which would have been revealing to see if there had been a second shot.
But there's no evidence of a second shot.
And I did check out Benjamin Fulford and I do recommend his work.
And I don't think he's come to any conclusions.
You do need to take a look at the best evidence, which is going to be the film evidence.
And right now we have every reason to suspect that this is another false flag.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had additional footage that they fabricated to make it look as Jim.

Meanwhile, oil that Biden released from U.S.
strategic reserves has ended up in China.
Surprise, surprise!
Millions of barrels released last month went to foreign nations, including China.
Biden ordered 50 million barrels released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, 30 million on March 1st, 180 million on March 31st, saying his historic actions would ease the pressure faced at the pump.
The petroleum reserve will continue to release a billion barrels a day through October.
No, it's fallen to its lowest level since 1986.
U.S.
crudes, meanwhile, are at their lowest level since 2004.
These releases will put more than a million barrels on the market over the next six months and help address the supply disruption caused by Putin's further invasion of Ukraine and the price hike Americans are facing in the pump as it was on policies and canceling the XL pipeline and And permits to drill on federal land had nothing to do with it.
This guy is horseshit.
He's doing everything to benefit China.
Remember, he and Hunter have massive business dealings with China.
Cargo of crude have been shipped to the Netherlands, a refinery in India, and China, where they, India and China, have published to us U.S.
sour crude produced in the Gulf of Mexico.
The release of oil, however, isn't having the intended effect.
Oil and gas prices have increased in spite of these releases.
Kathy McMorris-Rogers and Energy Subcommittee Republican Leader Fred Upton have demanded answers over how the releases are giving our adversary geopolitical leverage.
China wrapped up its purchase of crude from Russia and the U.S.
to bolster its own reserves.
China may now control the world's largest stockpile of oil, with total crude inventories estimated at 950 million barrels.
Meanwhile, Russia has not yet begun its Ukraine campaign in earnest, observed Vladimir Putin.
He's accused the West of decades of aggression toward Moscow, completely correct, warning any effort to beat Russia on the battlefield would bring tragedy for Ukraine and their opponents.
The West wants to fight us to the last Ukrainian Absorbutin.
It's a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it looks it's heading in that direction.
Everyone should know that, speaking broadly, we haven't even yet started anything in earnest.
Since the beginning of the war, Russian forces have taken over large swathes of Ukraine, including complete seizure of the eastern region of Luhansk.
The regional gobblers had three people have been killed and five wounded in another city of Kharkiv.
Putin also observed sanctions on Moscow had caused difficulties, but they've not been on the scale intended.
The course of history is unstoppable.
Attempts by the collective West to enforce its version of the global order are doomed to fail.
He also noticed Moscow had not rejected peace talks, but warned the further the conflict drags on, the harder to reach agreement.
This comes as Zelensky called on Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal to push the Biden admin to supply Ukraine with air defense systems.
Since the onset of Russia's special military op, the U.S.
and its allies have been providing Kyiv with advanced weapons, including missile systems.
Russia said the flood of weapons will not force Moscow to end the offense and will only provoke the war.
Putin observed early in June that they will strike new targets if the West supplies long-range missiles to Ukraine.

Yes, well, interestingly enough, there's a radio program called In the Oil Patch that last night interviewed the Director of Energy in Alaska, and he said that Alaska depends on natural gas for over 60% of their electrical generation.
Then the other generation is from diesel power, and they have almost no solar or wind because the climate and the terrain just isn't viable for that.
And they do not have a grid to connect all of the various little PowerPoints together.
So he said there's like absolutely no green option.
The Biden administration shut down development or opening of new gas wells in the Cook Inlet, which is where the majority of their natural gas comes from, and they're trying to shut down the Alaska pipeline and drilling on the North Slope.
And Alaska owns 12%, the state of Alaska owns 12% stake in the North Slope wells and pipeline.
And so they get basically tax-free government in Alaska from having the pipeline.
And they were the largest supplier of liquefied natural gas to Japan for the last 20 years from their fields.
And now they're going to have to stop doing that.
So, bottom line is, all of this stuff is completely stupid, but to add to it, now they're saying Russia's going to take Alaska away from the United States.
Well, I did a little history research on that, and Russia made their first landfall in the Kodiak Islands in 1780, And by 1867, they started to settle so they could start doing a fur trade.
They didn't have a viable port on the Pacific Ocean until Valstaff was opened in 1860, and they had no way of accessing it from the land side of Russia, which would be from the west side of Russia.
Until the Trans-Siberian Railroad was completed in 1960, and that was over 5,772 miles.
So bottom line is, Russia sold us Alaska in order to keep Alaska from being stolen by England, which was on its way to doing that.
So that's why they did that.
And it wasn't, you know, because they had such enormous presence there that they had the capability of projecting power there.
They knew that if they gave it to America, they could possibly have a friend against the monarch monopolists that were running Europe at the time and have since taken over the United States.
See how the Russians have acted in principle and with intelligence, and the United States has not?
The stupid policies we're adopting here could freeze Alaska.
It could destroy Alaska.
It's already destroying their government.
This is outrageous.

Yes, so we have to throw into the mix that Biden cancelled the pipelines that would have increased supply.
So what we're seeing visibly is a destruction of the core basis for economic needs.
We have less energy.
We have less food.
We have, through inflation, less purchasing power.
We have fewer freedoms.
We have less access to shelter from the unprecedented increase in real estate prices fueled in no small part by BlackRock just scooping up inventory with the funny money that is generated from our too-big-to-fail banking type system.
And as well, we're in the context of we've had zero breakthroughs In energy.
And I would suggest that we've probably had a dozen breakthroughs in free energy, but we're never going to get it from parasites that want to keep us controlled as work animals.
And Putin is right that the US-UK NATO position is one of an empire.
It is the most destructive, dangerous empire in world history.

oil reserves as it's being reported to China, we see a very concerning drama being played out in front of us, where you're seeing the connections, the financial connections of Hunter Biden to Big Joe or Peto Joe or
Whatever it is, the big guy, the big pedo guy, whatever Hunter wants to call him in these emails, with China that would mean that we have foreign agents in the government and they're being exposed in front of everybody as strengthening China and weakening the U.S.
And one other little part there is that the U.S.
is exporting our military weapons to Ukraine to be destroyed by Russia or even taken by Russia.
Or sent around the world where our enemies can use them against us.

Carl invited my attention to a wonderful statement by a German member of the European Parliament about a clear denunciation of lockdowns and COVID as I've ever heard witnesses.
All through Europe, governments have gone to great lengths to get people vaccinated.
We were promised the vaccinations will be a game-changer and it will restore our freedom.
Turns out, none of that was true.
It does not render you immune.
You can still contract the virus and you can still be infectious.
The only thing this vaccine did for sure was to spill billions and billions of dollars in the pockets of pharmaceutical companies.
I voted against the Digital Green Certificate back in April.
Unfortunately, it was adopted nonetheless.
And this just goes to show there's only a minority of MEPs who truly stand for European values.
The majority of MEPs, for whatever reasons unbeknown to me, obviously support oppression of the people while claiming shamelessly to do it for the people's own good.
But it is not the goal that renders a system oppressive.
It is always the methods by which the goal is pursued.
Whenever a government claims to have the people's interest at heart, you need to think again.
In the entire history of mankind, there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the well-being of regular people.
What makes any of us think that it is different now?
If the Age of Enlightenment has brought forth anything, then certainly this.
Never take anything any government tells you at face value.
Always question everything any government does or does not do.
Always look for ulterior motives and always ask, qui bono?
Who benefits?
Whenever a political elite pushes an agenda this hard and resorts to extortion and manipulation to get their way, you can almost always be sure your benefit is definitely not what they had at heart.
As far as I'm concerned, I will not be vaccinated with anything that has not been properly vetted and tested and has shown no sound scientific evidence that the benefits outweigh the disease itself and possible long-term side effects, which, to this day, we don't know anything about.
I will not be reduced to a mere guinea pig by getting vaccinated with an experimental drug.
And I will most assuredly not get vaccinated because my government tells me to and promises in return I will be granted freedom.
Let's be clear about one thing.
No one grants me freedom.
For I am a free person.
So I dare the European Commission and the German government.
Throw me in jail, lock me up and throw away the key for all I care.
But you will never be able to coerce me into being vaccinated if I, the free citizen that I am, choose not to be vaccinated.
Lastly, I would like you to think about this one.
The compulsory use of the Digital Green Certificate undermines everything that Europeans stand for.
It violates constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights and it constitutes the first step towards the insufferable Chinese social credit system.
I will never stand for this.
I will never put up with this.

Yes, well, they've just about played the last card in the Kofu deck.
They've come out with a new variant.
I don't remember exactly which one this one is.
It's like Omicron Plus or something.
But anyhow, so then they started scaring us about monkeypox, and the FDA immediately approved a monkeypox vaccine.
So we can, you know, anticipate that.
But it seems to me that it's not resonating with people.
They start that spooked about monkeypox.
So then they're pulling out their next line of attack, and that's Marburg.
Interestingly enough, we have some lifelong eugenicists for their own lives.
One of them is Stanley Johnson, the baby daddy of Boris Johnson, who had six kids, at least, probably more, who was a member of the Parliament in the UK, was also a member of the, he was an MEP in the European Parliament, author of a dozen books, including a 1982 novel called Marburg.
A world plague horror story.
And then he has a son who is proposing the same agenda, and Bojo has at least eight children.
So here we have a group of people that are more than willing to sterilize the rest of the planet and kill 95% of the people of the rest of the planet, but they're exempt from all of the rules, and probably they're also getting the fake saline jabs, and we know they're partying without masks on.
It's basically the I'll bet that's Bill Gates' favorite book.
take over the farmhouse and dance around on their hind legs and the rest of the animals are looking out through the windows seeing the food on the table while they're starving and they see the sign painted on the barn door.

The background of this, so Big Pharma, she's saying this is a transfer of wealth to them and absolutely right.
Marcia Engel is a former Chief editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, the most prestigious medical journal in the U.S.
She was, she may still currently be, at Harvard's Medical School.
She documents that big pharma, those 10 companies.
Their profits are more than the next 490 companies on the Fortune 500 list.
So these people are just parasites and what she is pointing to is that we are seeing an unprecedented oppression of the people that our governments demand that we kneel to them to be shot at will with whatever they declare that they need to inject into us for the public safety.
That we be declared non-essential workers That these illegal emergencies be declared whenever, I've talked about this a lot, but in challenging my public school district, Hayward Unified School District, my first question to them was, hey, under the law, an emergency has to be beyond control local hospitals.
And there's no evidence of that.
So where's your legal authority for an emergency?
Now they're just going to declare emergencies if they say one.
And so that is on one side.
And We're fighting back against or we're fighting for exactly as she says, is that we have inalienable rights and these rights are over a constitution.
That's the breakthrough of America.
So as we give these new shows, we're actually standing for the foundation.
Of the United States of inalienable rights over a constitution.
And this is against that we're being told we have to be a subject to the state.
We have to follow these health orders, mandates, requirements, and just to be a peon to these people, a work animal, dependent upon the state.
So you're declared a non-essential worker.
Okay, then you're dependent upon the state for your shelter and your food because you've been Remove from being able to earn your own living.
And this is American Revolution 2.0.
Let's see if there's anything else I wanted to say.
And we will reject having a freedom pass and a social credit score.
That MVP is exactly right.
That is the ideal for China.

Other experts note a person can be diagnosed at any age.
Children as young as 18 months can show symptoms.
Most common signs?
An inability to make eye contact, missing or misunderstanding social cues, difficulty emoting.
Autism can lead to extreme social anxiety and repetitive or compulsive behaviors.
However, a geneticist at Penn State wants people to take heart.
If you ask me, is there a real increase in the prevalence of autism?
Maybe there is, but probably lower than the reported magnitude.
