Time Text
And welcome back, folks, to Truth Vs. News Incorporated.
I'm Donald Vladimir, producer here.
And we have got the panel back here, Jim and Holly and Scott.
Wow, and I think we already have about a fire burning here.
Is that right?
Well, let's check it out, Don.
Let's check it out.
Meanwhile...
Brutal new poll reveals five alarm fire for Democrats as the GOP gains significantly among blacks and Hispanics.
A new Wall Street Journal poll depicts what's being described as a five-alarm fire for the Democratic Party.
Fifteen unregistered voters showed a majority 57 percent disapprove of Biden's job performance.
Sixty-three percent believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
Sixty-five percent of voters believe the economy is headed in the wrong direction.
And by the way, These wrong direction polls are the strongest indicator of how things are going to go at midterm elections.
Those are horrible numbers for the Democrats, which exercise the most political control in Washington and underscore the uphill battle they face if they want to retain control after the midterm election.
The majority, in fact, overwhelmingly believe that Biden Who is, of course, the head of the Democratic Party, is not focused on the right issues.
They disapprove of his handling of the economy, of inflation, of the border crisis, of immigration, and of crime.
They also agree he's not a strong leader.
Compounding problems, they found that more registered voters are likely to vote for Republicans than Democrats, 46 to 41 percent.
Thus, they believe the Republican Party is the antidote to the problem Biden and the Democrats have failed to fix.
Despite all of those problems, it gets even worse.
Republicans are making significant inroads among Hispanic and Black voters.
Since the journal poll of last November, Republicans have gained 9 percentage points among Hispanics.
Democrats have lost 21 points among Blacks.
In the November survey, 56% of Blacks said they favor voting for a Democrat in 2022, but now only 35% say that.
Support for Republicans among Blacks, moreover, has risen by a whopping 12 points to 27% today.
Phil Kline, writing at the National Review, summarized the reality of the poll.
It's fair to say if these numbers are anywhere close to the actual results, Democrats will be massacred in November.
Seeing they're about to have their clock clean, they're trying to clean up and loot the nation as much as they can by passing a massive $1.5 trillion omnibus spending package, a 3,000-page bill released only hours before the vote so that no one would know what they're actually voting on.
In another jaw-dropping dereliction of duty, the U.S.
House voted to approve a massive pork-stuffed $1.5 trillion spending package despite not having any time to review its contents.
The bill includes $13.6 billion for Ukraine and European allies and will fund the government through September 30th if it passes through the Senate.
The Democrat-controlled House Rules Committee held a meeting in the dead of night at 1.30 a.m.
to finalize a $1.5 trillion spending package.
After meeting for an hour, they released a final text of the bill just before 3 a.m., giving lawmakers less than 12 hours to scramble and read its contents before the vote scheduled for 1.30 p.m.
Eastern.
Most lawmakers, if not all, were not awake when it was released, didn't receive it till the morning, only leaving a few hours.
Despite the last minute release, the defense portion passed 361 to 69.
361 to 69.
A domestic 260 to 171.
In a Twitter post, Marjorie Taylor Greene, whom I regard as a modern day hero and virtually a Joan of Arc, slammed Pelosi in her handpicked committee for the underhanding tactics.
Greene also uploaded a video to express her outrage.
The American First Representative explained she was still shocked about being blindsided by the absolutely horrendous bill, called the legislative process completely broken due to the Democrats' unwavering partisanship and Pelosi's corruption.
Nancy Pelosi should be completely unseated as Speaker of the House.
I want to tell you how corrupt Congress is, she wrote.
You would not believe what happened last night.
As a matter of fact, I'm still shocked about it, and the rest of the Republicans are as well.
For all you, when we woke up this morning, we found it was too late to put in amendments to try to argue back, try to get things removed from this horrendous, absolutely horrendous $1.5 trillion spending bill.
We weren't able to do that because the Democrats snuck it through.
They did not tell us ahead of time.
No one had any idea until the committee put it on their website after midnight.
This is not how Congress is supposed to work.
It's completely broken.
So when you look at our government and you are shocked and cannot believe the things that happened here in Washington, D.C., I'm telling you, this is how corrupt it is.
We're supposed to vote on a $1.5 trillion bill today.
No one's even read it.
2,741 pages.
Like other massive federal spending packages, this is chock full of terrible spending and horrific policy proposals, some of the worst of which have been found buried in the thousands of pages highlighted by Representative Chip Roy and Jim Banks.
The pair called out provisions that will include a massive amount of foreign spending as well as millions funneled to Planned Parenthood.
Now that it's made its way past Congress, meaning the House, it will face a tougher hurdle in the Senate.
I'll be one likely to pass thanks to the support of rhinos like Mitch McConnell, who's been advocating for the spending bill to include more aid to Ukraine than even the Democrats originally proposed.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, I'm amazed that the Republicans haven't simply walked out and denied the Democrats a quorum.
That's how you stop this.
Walk out.
Do not participate in a vote.
Don't be there.
Don't be counted.
Leave.
The Democrats have done that in Texas.
When they didn't agree on some legislation or something.
This is not about a disagreement over policy.
This is a destruction of America and the destruction of our entire government and the destruction of the dollar.
If there's one thing that every conservative and Republican and decent Democrat should do, it is walk out and not be in the building.
So you deny the Macquarie to be able to advance this on any level.
This is an existential threat and a walkout would solidify the Republican idea and the Republican slogan for the for the election victories that are coming in 2022.
We are so disgusted and alarmed By this insanity the Democrats are doing, we're walking out.
We're not having any part of it because we're not going to allow them a quorum to vote for war against Russia, the destruction of the dollar, the destruction of our freedoms and rights under the Constitution with their fake vaccine mandates and mask mandates, the tyranny that they tried to impose under COVID-19.
Now they're shifting the tyranny of war powers.
Tucker Carlson talked a little bit about it.
All of these things have to be attacked with a political violence, which means stepping out and leaving the Congress and not being in there.
And until that happens, These people who are saying, well, we had nothing to do.
We couldn't stop it.
Bull!
You can stop it by walking out and it just takes a couple.
Let Marjorie Taylor Greene stand up and say, I'm calling every Republican out.
Don't go back in this building because they are advancing death to our country.
They are domestic enemies.
These are not congressmen or senators.
They are domestic enemies.
I want to hear American conservatives, Republicans, up that, calling Nancy Pelosi a domestic enemy, calling Mitt Romney a domestic enemy, calling Joe Biden a domestic enemy and a traitor.
Let's amplify the political rhetoric as if we really mean what we say and say what we mean, because until now, we're just playing games with shell games of moving all this stuff on the table, and it's all bull and BS and propaganda.
So you know this this needs to really amplify and I want and again anybody that thinks we're going to have a fair and honest election in 2022 is smoking crack in every orifice that doesn't have crack pipes meant to be inserted because we have dominion voting machines uh who have corrupted and stole the election and they're going to do it again.
The United States is a federal republic and all the illusions of democracy is a dead rotting corpse And until we leave that, we're going to be just as dead and rotting, and that's the stench I see right now in Washington.
Jim?
I'm sorry to say, I think you got it exactly right.
Hala, your thoughts?
Well, Scott, those will be free Biden administration crackpipes that will be handed out to people, so it could happen.
What we've seen here in the United States, I think, as Scott's right, I mean, barring some sort of crazy event or something like that with the 2022 election, we are going to see so many Democrats fleeing ship right now.
We're already seeing that within the House.
31 Democrats already saying they're not going to run for office again.
And then we are also seeing them get a lot of pushback within the US courts.
So even the Supreme Courts as well, as far as their attempts to redistrict or gerrymander in a lot of places across the United States, a lot of states.
And then also they're having a lot of difficulty with their voting rights acts and everything that they're trying to put forward with all the same day registration and printing out ballots from home as you talked about Scott in California, there's a lot of legal pushback against that.
And as it actually makes its way into the courts, a lot of this is being thrown out.
So the Republicans, like you said, though, are just so incredibly weak right now.
It's just they have so much power if they were willing to take it, like you said, to be able to walk out on some of that, so much of this and actually saying no.
I mean, the best thing that Congress can do right now is to say no to everything that is being put forward with them, because the more that they pass these bills and laws and funding, the more power that they're just handing to Democrats and the globalists just printing money at this point.
They need to start saying no to all of these bills that are going forward.
I think that's exactly right, Holly.
Very good.
Meanwhile, now this is from RSN, Reader Supported News, a very clear left-wing website.
Russian invasion show risk of addiction to fossil fuels.
Will Biden fund shift to renewables?
This is just ludicrous, because the renewables, like electric cars, consume more energy than they save.
It's just ludicrous.
Global gas and oil are skyrocketing as the U.S.
bans Russian energy imports.
Russia threatened to cut off natural gas to Europe via the Nord Stream 1.
We speak to energy and climate investigative reporter Antonia Juhasz, author of The Tyranny of Oil, the World's Most Powerful Industry, about growing calls for a green energy revolution amid the climate crisis and rising prices for fossil fuels.
The bottom line is to achieve first peace in Ukraine and stop Putin and then make the transition from fossil fuels.
You think the Democrats plan the war.
With Amy Goodman, this is Democracy Now!
Her co-host, Juan González.
Welcome to all our listeners.
Amy, as Russia's invasion enters its 14th day, we begin looking at the war's impact on global energy markets.
Tuesday, Biden announced a ban on imports of Russian oil, gas, and coal.
Britain followed, saying it would phase out imports of Russian oil by the end of the war.
The EU has announced plans to reduce its dependence by two-thirds.
Biden announced the U.S.
ban during an address from the White House.
Given Russia's key role in the global energy supply, however, the global economy could soon be faced with one of the largest energy supply shocks ever.
Recently, the Biden admin has begun exploring other ways to increase global oil supply, traveling to Venezuela, floating the idea of visiting Saudi Arabia, while the Biden admin is pushing more oil-driven Many climate activists say now is the time to invest in a green energy revolution.
Senator Ed Markey – might as well be Malarkey – of Massachusetts said, this moment is a clarion call for the urgent need to transition to domestic clean energy so we are never again complicit in fossil-fueled conflict.
But why does he think it's a fossil fuel conflict?
Ukraine isn't an oil producer.
Russia isn't intervening to gain control of Ukraine's oil.
Meanwhile, it's extremely significant, Amy, that many parts of his speech of Biden were important when he said we must transition to clean energy so tyrants like Putin won't be able to use fossil fuels as weapons against other nations.
We've got to see the wielding of fossil fuels as a weapon of war.
By stating the U.S.
would end any oil, liquefied natural gas, and coal imports, the U.S.
was being the first nation to take that full step against Putin and to say peace in Ukraine is dependent on shifting off of fossil fuels, ending Russia's ability to wield fossil fuels as a weapon of war, and the world and the nation's necessity to transition off of fossil fuels.
This is such unadulterated bullshit as I can hardly bear to read it.
At the same time, the Biden admin is looking to reorient its supply of, obviously, world supplies in discussion with Venezuela and deal with Saudi Arabia.
Both the leaders of the Emirates and of Saudi Arabia, however, have declined to have phone calls with Biden, so that's not going to work.
They're expert.
There's a short and long term.
First, I think it's really important to say the price spike we've seen immediately in the aftermath is not about a shortage of supply of natural resources.
It is energy traders basing on the expectation of a reduction in supply.
Pushing the price up.
Going up has immediately impacted the price of gas.
Meanwhile, the reality is there will be a reduction in supply on the global market and of Russian natural gas as a tool in Europe.
But he hasn't been using it as a tool.
It's been a business agreement between Germany and Russia where Germany provides a vast supply of natural gas to Germany at cut-rate prices.
So this is a willing agreement between two contracting parties.
Controlling the flow, the decision whether to let natural gas flow to Europe, which has very significant impacts, is critical.
Biden did orchestrate a fairly profound shift with the International Energy Agency used to coordinate its members to increase oil supply by 60 million barrels, but that is a drop in the bucket.
That's going to do nothing.
Incidental.
Might make a day's difference.
Not surprising to me the Saudis aren't taking Biden's call.
It's not going to happen.
I think we need to hold the administration and other global leaders to their pledge.
Every member of the Biden admin who's spoken has reiterated that they need to be held to the statement of making the transition.
The war has shown how insecure we are on this dependence.
I don't think it's shown anything like that, and it's just a myth to claim it does.
The U.S.
is, of course, the leading guzzler by far in gasoline.
The power that price of gas has over political election, people's pocketbook, everything in between is an incredible weakness.
The dependence of Europon, and I call it methane gas, not natural gas, because natural gas is about 93% methane, has put us into this position where it's having an almost impossible time divorcing itself from Putin's power.
Being unable to do that means that there isn't a stand to take against wielding a war against Ukraine, so that incredible weakness created by that dependence on methane gas, which should be considered to be a bridge fuel from fossil fuels to renewable energy, has been put in stark exposure.
We need to look at actions of oil companies, BP, Shell, Exxon, who've been unwinding and divesting their partnership with Russia, doing so with public statements in which they say they're doing this for humanitarian reasons.
They do not want to put their money behind Putin and support his war.
That sentiment, the same as Biden's, needs to be applied and brought up to all their partnerships with all the other countries that are wielding control over fossil fuels as weapons.
Saudi Arabia is a key example in its brutal war on Yemen.
All the same oil companies that partner with Russia and Putin partner with the Saudis in deep partnership and expanding this analysis to say, how can we unplug this power, this influence, But I got to say, I'm doing a sensational climate change series with Joe Holson.
And we initiated, in the very first episode, we established there's no correlation between the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and global warming over 600 million years of Earth's history.
There's no correlation.
Even if there were a correlation, one could argue there's no causation, as with smoking and cancer, where the causal influence is not seriously in doubt.
But absent a correlation, there cannot be a causal relationship.
So this is all misguided and based on pseudoscience from the beginning.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, it's a pseudoscience meant to replace religion, the religious spiritual impulses of people to translate them into a green worship science fiction sort of mass hypnosis.
And I've written about this before.
That's the agenda of the green climate.
It's a form of religious idolatry and worship.
And it's mixed in with child worship, such as the Greta Thunberg, mongoloid looking girl.
Uh, you know, worshiping in a sexually perverse way this sort of, you know, innocent voice.
And it's not innocent at all.
It's right out of Resident Evil, the little girl who represents the computer, AI.
There's two things that need to happen.
Break the stranglehold and create alternatives create competition, translated into the modern geopolitical military process is Russia breaks the stranglehold of the institutions and the unions and the systems that exist.
By splintering the European Union into its foundational identity, which is as a mosaic of different European countries, cultures, personalities.
I know because I'm European.
I'm from Scotland.
I was born there.
And I can tell you there's a big difference between the Scottish, and the Wales, and the English, and the Irish, and the Germans, and the French, and the Italians, and the Cargolux, and the Swedes, and the Finns, and all that.
They're all different.
So the claim that there's a European Union has been wrong from the very beginning.
The only thing that was attractive about the European Union in the original 1980s formation was that you no longer would have to have a passport to go through every country and a visa through every country.
It was allowed you could travel throughout Europe with one passport, one visa.
That was the only thing that was nice about the European Union.
They blurred and perverted and corrupted that into a Nazi-German-dominated economic union.
And they have corrupted and seduced countries like Ireland and others to come into the union, and they give them tax breaks in the beginning, but then those they take away when they're already members and addicted.
So Russia, in a sense, Jim, needs to break up OPEC by creating an oil union with Venezuela, with Iran, and invite other nations to join this new OPEC alternative.
Mix that in with some benefits to China, or China will give the countries that are part of that union benefits.
Russia needs to have an ABCD system of oil sales.
So if you're part of the Eastern European Union, create the Eastern European Union, so all the former Soviet bloc countries are part of a union that get a special deal from Russian energy that nobody else gets.
Yeah, you can buy independent from Russia at a reduced rate, or you can be part of this Eastern European Union and get four times as much of a reduction in your rate.
Use your strongest card and your energy to break up, splinter, and bring individual European countries to the economic sanity Of a new economic paradigm.
Again, it's the multi-polar world approach.
And begin to really expose and criticize with the most laughable, again, psychological warfare, laughable disgust and repugnancy that you can express in words and images.
And the Russians aren't that good at that.
They're a little bit too cold-blooded and too respectful and too, you know, Lavrov balanced.
They need to have a little bit of passion and animation and fury in their words to say the West has gone stark raving mad, they're worshiping trees and the green flies, and they're pushing this religion of idolatry, and all of Europe and all of America is suffering and dying.
We're not going to be part of that.
Cult.
We are creating a new union, a new renaissance, a new hope for humanity, where we worship God and the family and natural law.
We're good stewards of the climate, but we're not worshiping it like the addicted fools and the atheists of Klaus Schwab and the rest of these guys.
Klaus Schwab, talk about a Bond villain that you love to hate.
All the Russians need to do is put his face up there and say, look at this ugly piece of garbage.
This is the man that the West and Biden, right next to him, this is who you worship?
I think the West is so crumbling, so cracked and crumbling, that it's about to implode, and the West has no idea just how much of a crash is coming.
So Russia needs to break the stranglehold, create an alternative system, ...of unions and OPECs and diversify it with Venezuela, with Iran, with these other nations.
Bring in China to provide what China has.
China has workers.
It's got more people than any other country.
Well, use the Chinese workers to help develop some of these other countries, whether it's Africa and elsewhere.
And suddenly you will see the center of gravity shift out of the petrodollar world and more into the orbit of the Russian, Venezuelan, Iran, China orbit.
And Europe will follow.
And Eastern Europe is the first one to say, create an Eastern Europe Union, neutral.
We'll never attack you, says Russia, and you'll never attack us, and you'll get the best deal of oil and energy that you can imagine.
And I think that's going to unfold, and I'd recommend it that it unfolds.
But I think that's the natural process of this going, because there's no sanity and reason or truth.
in what the West and the United States and the United Kingdom and Germany are trying to advance.
There's no truth or sense.
There's only delusion and destruction, I'm sad to say, that is behind the West's geopolitical gamesmanship.
Jim?
Well, that's quite a masterful statement, Scott.
Holly, your thoughts?
Well, I think Scott's right a little bit.
A lot of this has to do with like the oil pipeline that we've talked about Nord Stream 2 before and making sure that Russia and Germany are not trading.
I think Germans have really seen the damage that this new world order green agenda puts on their country, whether you're talking about the the windmills and other technology that has failed on them in the winter.
We saw that here in the United States in Texas, where thousands of people went without power and were freezing because of the windmills.
So the writing's on the wall as far as this technology that they're trying to push on people.
I used to watch Democracy Now!, but that was probably like 15 years ago at this point.
And they've really, I mean, using the term fossil fuels probably is all you need to hear.
To understand that they are just really they've bought into the propaganda 100%.
They're pushing this Green New Deal.
And I saw some information about Biden being urged to invoke Cold War powers to blunt the energy prices.
I think they're going to try to push Biden, his administration anyway, running him to use Excellent, Holly.
You're spot on right on top of it.
Really, really excellent.
with this Green New Deal and put forward all of this.
So if they can't get Congress to pass all of this, they're going to try to use war powers to push forward, you know, his version of an alphabet soup where he puts forward his Build Back Better and this green agenda here in the United States.
Excellent, Holly, you're spot on, right on top of it.
Really, really excellent.
Meanwhile, iconic American brands or joined the huge list of companies that have ceased Russian operations, McDonald's, Starbucks closing their restaurants.
Coca-Cola as the world watches the collective outrage against Putin and his government bills.
Visa, MasterCard, PayPal join the massive number leaving.
It may become more difficult to fly out of Russia.
Boeing and Airbus are suspending parts and maintenance service for Russian airlines.
American says they're avoiding Russian airspace.
Energy companies BP, Shell are shutting out Russia.
Exxon is going to make no further investments.
Meanwhile, Texas independent tweets.
How many Chinese companies are moving in to fill the void our woke companies are creating by leaving Russia?
We are only giving China more influence, not taking away Russia's.
The world's had other opportunities to show its moral outrage.
Well, information has been made aware of horrible human rights violations suffered by the Urugu Muslim minority in China, the suppression through censorship.
Why wasn't there a demand for a boycott of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing?
Why has the world not been outraged by atrocious human rights records of China?
The answer may be in the rule of thumb, follow the money.
Pretty common knowledge companies like Nike and Apple make enormous profits from their ties to China.
China is Apple's third largest market behind the U.S.
and Europe, accounting for 20% of its revenue.
Reuters reported in June of 2021 Nike expected Chinese revenue to top $11 billion.
So is all this sudden concern for corporations a show?
Cynics would say, yes.
Here's Kay Braxton.
All these companies boycotting Russia, but not one of these companies being asked to leave China, who has a million people in concentration camps as we speak.
Why?
Don't boycott McDonald's or any company unless they address the real issues.
Meanwhile, McDonald may be leaving Russia voluntarily, but they're closing their own stores here in the U.S.
involuntarily.
Get this.
Seattle's landmark downtown McDonald's closes doors over safety concerns amid surging crime.
This is their flagship restaurant because the management can't ensure the safety of its employees or its customers.
They shut down last week without notice after a violent weekend nearby.
David Santelanes, the owner-operator of the franchise, issued a statement his top priority is the health and safety of employees and customers.
The store has been temporarily closed.
He supports local police as they investigate the ongoing violence and say the restaurant would be open when it's safe to do so.
Unbelievable!
The closure came a day after a local bakery, Piroshki Piroshki, located a few blocks away, closed over safety concerns.
Olga Sagan, owner, told reporters she'd been patiently communicating with the city for six months, but things are only getting worse.
She feels the city is abandoned downtown, not treating the situation seriously.
Her customers have been repeatedly threatened and others have exposed themselves to her as employees.
This is what happens when you defund the police.
These are Democratic policies bringing about predictable outcomes.
This is disgusting.
The Biden administration and the Democrats are doing this to America.
A fatal shooting.
Six Seattle police have responded this year.
A man was shot in the face at the same intersection.
Seattle continues to see hundreds of businesses closing and leaving the city.
That's going to do wonders for its revenue.
Because of the city government's inability or unwillingness to address a problem of violent crime substantively.
Meanwhile, the city police department has seen so many officers leave, it is increasingly challenging to maintain minimal staffing requirements.
We're going to have anything goes in Seattle before you know it.
Gangs are going to control the streets and no one is going to be safe.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, that's right.
That's the spread of moral insanity and decadence and hopelessness and despair and vice that comes from the disintegration of natural families, natural marriages, where mothers and fathers raise natural children that are inspired with a moral code of godliness and respect and a sense of liberty through the Second Amendment is the foundation for law and order and law and order
Is the fence that keeps out these, you know, the firewalls that keep out these winds of insanity.
So the Second Amendment, you know, preserves and protects law and order that is the necessary requirement for prosperity and flourishing happiness and joy.
You can't have happiness and joy and all that when you have criminal insane demoniacs Acting out their drug addiction, their schizophrenia, their transgender lunacy, their drag queen anger, and their sense of medicated pride and viciousness against anything that they term a Nazi, which is a conservative Republican Christian sort of position.
This is the hypocrisy and the insanity that is Infecting the West, and particularly America, like a chicken pox virus or some sort of a disease.
And there are hot spots where the liberal left have taken control of the government systems and the entire society is corroding.
Tucker Carlson's talked about this too.
So all of the same voices All of the reasonable intellects have been analyzing this the same way.
The moral decadence leads to criminal amplification, and the absence of the government stepping in and performing its necessary duty
And prosecuting Americans that try and defend themselves, like Kim Foxx trying to defend this liar Jussie Smollett, and like the other attorneys that are paid for by George Soros prosecuting the McCloskeys who stood up against the mob, you know, that shows us that America is, you know, under grips of this far-left
George Soros type of insanity and the only solution to that is armed revolution when necessary and a cleansing of the political class to replace it with those original pioneer spirits that say every man and every woman and every family is its own microcosm of the American civilization And they have to have the right to keep in their arms to protect themselves.
And there should be an absolute no tolerance for criminal culture.
Jim?
Holly, your thoughts?
Well, I don't know if you guys actually saw the clip of Jesse Smollett during his sentencing.
I think I almost felt bad for him.
I mean, there was a moment there because he he is genuinely concerned about being suicided.
And he's got some, you know, powerful people that probably want him gone.
Yeah, Jim.
Ollie, we're going to get to Jussie Smollett.
We're talking about the McDonald's and the closing in Seattle.
I mean, it's voluntary pulling out of Russia, but it's involuntary closing in Seattle.
Yes, because of the crime rates, like you said.
Right.
Yeah, the crime rates.
I just want to say that I was skipping on the news channels and I came upon a local news and it said Seattle is a hellscape.
That's not good.
Yeah, Don, I wanted to bring you in here since you reside right there, as does my son, by the way.
I mean, this is just tragic.
Paulie, did you want to add a few more words about what's happening in Seattle?
Well, just quickly I know they're in Phoenix right now there's a there's a tent city has grown to over 1000 tents right now.
So, we're seeing a massive homelessness, a crime the fentanyl that we're seeing in these major cities it's.
It's not just Seattle, but yeah, we are going to see, I think Scott had mentioned in San Francisco, a lot of the, like the Rite-Aids and the pharmacies have been closing because it's not even a crime if you loo under, what, $900 worth of merchandise at this point.
So things, they've allowed this, all these major cities to absolutely implode right now.
It's just insane, and it's also predictable.
Here we are at Jussie.
Judge announces Jussie Smollett sentenced.
Convicted hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett was sentenced Thursday after a jury found him guilty of orchestrating an attack against himself and making false police reports in an apparent attempt to gin up publicity and sympathy.
Actually, This was done in order to support Kamala Harris's anti-lynching bill, which was languishing in the Senate, co-sponsored with Cory Booker.
She wanted to have a public event to make it seem relevant, and it led to this absolutely stupid effort.
In Chicago, Judge James Lynn sentenced Smollett to 150 days in jail and 30 months of probation, ordered him to pay $120,000 restitution and a $25,000 fine.
The disgraced actor had faced a max of three years in prison.
He was convicted in December on five of six counts of felony disorderly conduct, a charge applied to filing fake police reports under Illinois law.
I am innocent.
I am not suicidal, Smollett said after receiving his sentence.
If I did this, then it means I stuck my fist in the fears of the black Americans in this country for over 400 years and the fears of the LGBTQ community, which to my mind is not even a coherent sentence, Your Honor.
I respect you and I respect the jury, but I did not do this.
I'm not suicidal, and if anything happens to me when I go there, I did not do it to myself.
Okay, he's worried about committing suicide, meaning being suicide or killed in prison, but when he says, I didn't do this, He did do it.
I mean, the evidence is as overwhelming and blatant as it could possibly be.
It's insulting that he continues to insist he was innocent.
Before sentencing, defense attorney Tina Galandon had argued that Smollett's case should have been dismissed due to errors made by the court.
Special Prosecutor Sean Weber dismissed those claims, accusing Smollett and his lawyers of pinning the blame for his conviction on everyone but themselves.
Smollett reportedly showed up late to a Chicago courthouse for a sentencing with his bodyguards manhandling reporters outside of the building.
Smollett claimed he'd been attacked in the dead of night by two men shouting racist and anti-gay slurs.
He alleged the men wrapped a noose around his neck and doused him in bleach.
Several points.
How would these men in the dead of night—it was 2 a.m.
on an extremely cold day—know that he was gay?
How would they even know that he was black?
He was being wrapped up, as would they.
How would they have a bottle of bleach here at 2 a.m.
in the morning?
They're just wandering around Chicago at 2 a.m.
in the morning expecting a guy's gonna come out of a subway with a tuna sandwich and they're gonna attack him.
It's idiotic!
The whole story was moronic from the beginning.
It made no sense.
And here are the guys who are attacking him, who obviously aren't racist.
They're not bigots.
They're two black Nigerian bodybuilders.
One of them, believe it or not, is Jussie Smollett's personal trainer.
The other is an extra on the set of Empire, where he's now been cashed in as an actor.
They turned state's evidence.
They admitted what happened.
We have hardware store videos showing them buying the bleach, which, by the way, at the temperature that day said bleach is mostly water, would have been frozen solid, and buying the The rope with which they made the news.
He paid them with a personal check for $3,500.
This is about as cut and dry a case as it could possibly be.
In fact, the former chief of police observed he thought there were several very odd telling signs.
Normally, for example, a victim just forgets anything they were doing at the time because they're so distracted, but Jussie's sandwich remained preserved for him to consume later.
And when the police showed up, he was still wearing the noose around his neck as though it were a badge of honor.
As the former police commissioner, who himself is black, has observed, no black man is going to allow a noose to hang around their neck for even a millisecond.
And yet here was Jussie with it.
And I'm convinced Jussie was not doing this on behalf of Kamala Harris, but he is actually Kamala Harris's nephew.
This is just unbelievably bad.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, what they should have done to Smollett and Kamala Harris is what they did to General Michael Flynn and his alleged connection with, you know, the Russians and all of that jazz.
They investigated it.
The Trump administration and the attorneys should have said, okay, let's look at Jussie Smollett and Kamala Harris.
Let's look at their emails and their phone calls and discover if there's a larger conspiracy at play here.
Let's see if there's a conspiracy to commit fraud and rush through this piece of legislation that Kamala Harris is behind.
Let's see if the emails and the communications and the discussions with Jussie Smollett and Kamala Harris indicate an agenda, a conspiracy to deprive Americans of their rights to in fact cause social upheaval.
To cause civil war, to cause backlash against whites.
Let's see if their language says this will create blacks to hit the streets of Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and start punching white people like the blacks have been punching Asian people on the streets of San Francisco.
They didn't do any of that, which is a major failure, but they did present the simple evidence Which is, like you said Jim, Jussie Smollett paid these guys to abuse him, pretendedly abuse him, and then tried to create a larger race war.
It was found out, it's taken far too long, and they were far too lenient on this guy.
They should have thrown him in jail for 10 years.
Because what he did was not anything short of trying to start a revolution and violence in this country and race hatred based on the supposition that he was racially hated.
So what they are trying to project onto him is the actual race hatred that they have felt for white people and Kamala Harris is a perfect voice place for that hatred as is Black Lives Matter.
So they should have given him 10 years in prison And Judge Jeanine Pirro talked a little bit about this, too.
But his insanity, his schizophrenia, his lunatic sort of reaction is the narcissism and the blindness and the selfishness and the arrogance that permeates all of the people of his Black Lives Matter, LGBT, homosexual-obsessed, liberal Democrat Kamala Harris political bloc.
Jim?
Well, this guy exemplifies a degree of narcissism that is unbelievable, he believes.
It used to be thought that Earth was the center of the universe, and the moon, the sun, and all the other heavenly bodies revolved around Earth.
Jussie Smollett believes that the whole universe revolves around Jussie Smollett.
And if Jussie Wallet makes a declaration, you gotta believe it, no matter how fantastic or incredible it may be.
He has played this out to such an absurd extent that no one could possibly take him seriously.
It is insulting beyond belief.
Hawley, your thoughts?
Well, I don't think he did himself any favors by continually showing up late to court and showing up late to his own sentencing.
You know, you're right.
He showed his narcissism to the very end.
In the end, I mean, like I said, I almost felt bad for him when he kept saying, like, I didn't do this, which means that it probably wasn't his idea.
He was probably put up to it and he's going to sing, you know, like a songbird in jail if he gets the chance.
But that's why he's scared about being suicided, because He's got powerful people, like you said, the Democrats and the Clinton body count and everything like that just reminds me of it, and he's scared about being Epstein'd in jail because of this anti-lynching bill that they're trying to put forward.
They needed an event, and they probably put him up to it, like you said, a relative of Kamala Harris.
And people have even speculated that that federal anti-lynching law was to make sure that people who have found to be traitors in the United States, if and when there are court cases and trials for that, they cannot be lynched for, let's say, high treason or something like that.
So we're getting into the realm of speculation here, but I do think that there were very powerful people that probably put Jesse up to it.
I don't think he's That intelligent, as you can tell by the way that this actually went down, you know, with the sandwich and the bleach and the noose, etc.
I have no doubt this was a Kamala-inspired event, and she's such a mental munchkin.
I mean, it's embarrassing.
I think that's a reason they don't want to impeach Biden, Scott, is that Kamala's even worse.
She's even more of a mental deficit than Biden.
I mean, it's absolutely incredible how incompetent.
You got maybe the two least competent individuals in the whole universe that are the heads of the American government.
Your thought?
Well, it matches the perfect model for causing a massive breakdown and disintegration into civil war and chaos and hopelessness in the United States when you plant these two fools into the quote highest positions in the United States government.
As president, as vice president, and Kamala Harris is not a natural-born citizen, so she's not qualified to be the president.
She's disqualified.
And are you going to try and put Pelosi in there?
Are you trying to, I mean, trying to shift Kamala Harris into a court position?
What exactly is the play here?
I do think they're going to remove Biden, assassinate him.
I don't think they'll 18th or 25th amendment him because it'll make them even look worse.
But the entire American political entity in Washington, D.C.
has completely lost all moral character.
We're witnessing a train wreck in slow motion, which was once the American Union of independent, pioneer, capitalistic sort of people in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s.
And then 80s.
All of that died in the 1990s, and we have been on a slow degeneracy towards dictatorship, environmental religion, transgender sexual schizophrenia, medical drugs of every description being forced into our populations.
Every day you see commercials on the TV, surralis, flambosis, Polynosis, whatever it is, they've got every kind of drug imaginable on the TV screen, and that is causing a complete physiological mental breakdown of society.
The statin drugs are a perfect illustration.
Statin drugs being introduced to combat cholesterol does not combat cholesterol.
It eats the cholesterol away in the brain, guaranteeing people to suffer dementia and Alzheimer's.
And all of these drugs combined with the saturation of American culture with all of these perverse ideas and delusions and fantasies of race war and woke-ism and everybody's a victim.
Nowhere else in the world do I see this taking such deep root than in America, and the contrast is striking.
The more countries like Russia elevate itself to natural law, natural family, freedom, liberty, law and order, and high culture, the more the West is going to be exposed As pursuing the opposite.
Low culture, victimization, anger, race war, instability, criminality, drug addiction, pornography addiction, vice addiction, and that is not a world that decent free people would want to live in.
Jim?
Holly, your thoughts about all of the above?
Well, I was just trying to figure out a way to mention this article that I saw today.
So, Scott led a great segue.
I read that one-third of Americans are on some sort of prescription pain medication at this point.
And I do believe the number of people on psychotropic drugs is probably just as high, like you said.
And then, like you said, with statins, you know, just depleting people's fat within their bodies is just devastating to our brain etc so we have to look at this in the context of people who are seriously ill and this was before people even got the jab so we're we're facing some serious problems here in the United States.
You got that exactly right no question about it.
Meanwhile Nicholas Gregorius a 73 million dollar settlement against gun manufacturer Remington is a backdoor gun control.
He's got it right.
Editor's note.
When the settlement was webhoused at $33 million, I was calling it out as an insurance scam.
The obvious reason is there's been no judicial determination that anyone died at Sandy Hook.
As I explained there, upping the ante to $73 million is all the more insulting.
I'm making an effort to intervene in the Remington bankruptcy case to defeat the fraud, now a bankruptcy scam, where I am demonstrating to the bankruptcy court that the underlying issue has never been addressed and that this would be a blatant abuse of the rights of stockholders, stakeholders, and ultimately taxpaying citizens of the United States.
As I explained in my Defending the First and Second Amendment, they want to use insurance to require registration, which will be followed by confiscation.
That's the plan.
The article.
Remington Arms, America's oldest gun manufacturer, settled for $73 million in a wrongful death suit filed by the families of several victims of the Sandy Hook shooting.
The settlement followed seven-plus years of litigation, two Remington bankruptcies, a previous offer of $33 million.
The outcome of the case has been touted by anti-gunners, the corporate press, and Democrat politicians as a victory over the gun lobby.
President Biden calls it historic.
The anti-gunners are wrong, however.
The settlement was neither a victory nor historic, but rather reveals yet another way political actors can undermine gun rights, which is why they're so excited about it.
Gun manufacturers are usually protected from these kinds of lawsuits by the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act of 2005, which prevents arms manufacturers from being sued for misuse or criminal use of their products.
Without this protection, the gun industry would be subject to unique and extremely broad liability claims.
Gun control advocates claim it provides blanket immunity, which is untrue.
gun manufacturers can be still sued on multiple grounds, including traditional product liability, negligence, and violating laws surrounding the sale.
The plaintiff's attorney, Joshua Kaskoff, packed the initial lawsuit with a slew of allegations that were dismissed by lower courts because they were invalid under the act.
However, the Connecticut Supreme Court allowed the wrongful death suit to move forward, while on the basis of wrongful advertising claim that was included in the original set, that they notably marketed and promoted the rifle for use in assaults against human beings.
I think that's completely doubtful.
I don't believe it has a basis.
A plaintiff started marketing slogans such as, consider your man card reissued, clear the room, cover the rooftop, rescue the hostage.
None of those claims are inherently violent, certainly not an appeal to young men to commit mass murder.
Ford claims its trucks are built with military-grade aluminum.
Does that mean the victims of the Waukesha massacre should be able to sue Ford?
Why would a truck needing anything military-grade unless it was supposed to be rammed through 80 people?
While the case was allowed to move forward, the Connecticut Supreme Court acknowledged winning would be a Herculean task.
It'd have to prove Bushmaster's marketing contributed to the shooter's decision to commit the atrocity.
Since the shooter did not buy the gun himself, but instead murdered his mother and stole it from her, according to the official narrative, it's not hard to see how the claim advertising was relevant would have been a stretch.
But if the case was unwinnable, why did Remington settle?
Technically, Remington did not settle.
Four insurance companies representing it did.
Moreover, the settlement by definition means Remington did not accept liability.
The idea this is a victory is asinine.
The point still stands, however.
The bank in Remington and its agents settled because winning the case would have been even more costly than settling because of the additional legal fees required.
It's astronomically less expensive to be a plaintiff since they're generally paid for the settlement after litigation is finished.
An offense needs to pay up front.
Activists can just keep hurling frivolous lawsuit after lawsuit at gun manufacturer until something sticks.
No big deal if the case is thrown out, take notes and try again.
Since the government legal system is slow and awful, the amount of attorney's fees needed to defend places an enormous burden on gun companies.
Despite talk about how big and powerful they are, selling guns is actually a low margin business.
Ruger, the largest firm, has a market cap of around a billion.
This sounds substantial until you realize Google makes that profit every week.
The amount of money required to defend against lawsuits could easily bankrupt gun manufacturers, mean they're forced to settle, and their liability insurance pays.
This was a plan in this case, kill Remington with legal fees or insurmountable insurance tasks.
One of the plaintiffs admitted they wanted to send the message, this is a high-risk market, it is not profitable, and you will be held accountable.
This type of lawsuit was commonplace prior to the passage of the Act, when almost bankrupt Smith & Wesson.
Ridiculous long-shot lawsuits were a favorite tactic in the 90s and 2000s.
Handgun Control started a coalition with several big city mayors in 1998, focused on crafting lawsuits to bankrupt gun companies.
Ed Rendell, Philly's mayor at the time, explained the suits were intentionally designed to, one, prevent consolidation, which meant the defendant would have to retain lawyers for each case, two, specifically target handgun manufacturers smaller than long gun and ammo companies, and three, make claims designed to expand existing case law and set precedents that would open up more avenues of attack.
Virtually none of these suits went to trial, but that wasn't the point.
The goal was to impose a financial burden on gun companies and drive them out of business.
Or in the case of Smith & Wesson, pressure them to capitulate and submit to a manufacturer's code of conduct, forcing them to add features that would make guns safer.
Gun control has been a losing item for years, but if this settlement becomes precedent, That could change.
If gun control loses in legislatures, a court activist can simply abuse the legal structure to enforce de facto gun control by driving gun makers out of business.
The red result is the same.
Restricted access to guns for the law abiding at least.
This won't end with Remington.
The floodgates have been opened.
Even Mexico is now suing the gun industry for gun violence perpetrated by cartels.
Remington settlement serves as a stark reminder the left will use whatever means necessary to advance their agenda, in this case, your disarmament.
Just to make the point, here's my own case now going before the Supreme Court.
notice how it builds.
Amazon banned my book so you wouldn't learn what really happened to Sandy Hook.
It was a FEMA drill presented as mass murder to promote gun control.
Then they sued to shut me up, and the Wisconsin courts played along.
I have the proof and the law on my side.
What I don't have is the money.
They want to do to us what they've done to Canada.
Take guns, impose tyranny.
And it's on the way with Remington's help.
First insurance, then registration, then confiscation.
I'm asking SCOTUS to stop it.
GibbsAndGo.com Funding Fetzer.
Check it out.
This is for all the marbles.
And I hate to say, but it is for all the marbles.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, it's very clear that this sort of insurance scam is very similar to the insurance scam that they did under the World Trade Center 9-11 attacks in which the Jewish oligarch who had ties to Netanyahu, of course, and Jared Kushner and elsewhere, Double insured the World Trade Center towers and claimed billions of dollars off of that.
I think this is cut from the same cloth with the insurance companies and no doubt many people have been bribed and promised all sorts of wealth if they sell out the American Second Amendment that is going to be increasing with insurance demands.
You can't allegedly own a gun in San Jose without getting insurance.
They're trying to pass that law.
Of course it's going to be challenged and overthrown and blow back.
No American in this climate is going to surrender their weapons or abide by any law that is not a law to make excessive requirements.
So I think we're witnessing a conscious attempt to strip and de-weaponize the American citizens to make them more pliable Yes, the U.S.
COVID or other Klaus Schwab re-education camps, which is their real agenda.
They have to remove the stubborn patriots from society, like they've tried to remove the Chinese Uyghurs and the Falun Gong, Falun Dafa types.
And the only way to do that is to take away their right to keep and bear arms, Jim.
Yes, the U.S. was always going to be the challenging case because of the Second Amendment.
Holly, your thoughts?
Well, I just want to say thanks, Jim, for all of your work and all the years that you've been working on these cases and how you haven't given up.
And I think that as we're seeing more and more events and the idea of crisis actors and false flag events actually making its way into the mainstream news right now, people are going to start questioning more and more of these narratives.
And people like you.
I would like it one day, you know, where Don doesn't call you the most dangerous mind in America because these ideas actually hit the mainstream.
So I think it will happen.
People are a little bit slow to wake up.
Well, it's so outrageous they got the same crisis actor playing Donna Soto, supposed to be the mother of Victoria Soto, a teacher at Sandy Hook, played the role of Susan Brough, the mother of Heather Heyer in Charlottesville.
They're rubbing our face in it.
Don, take us out.
Oh, well, yes, they have been rubbing our face here, but we're standing up for the truth and if truth will prevail, we'll stand tall and override.
And Jim, you're among the very top there.
So thanks so much for watching Truth Vs. News here today.
13th of March.
Come back next week if there is a next week.
Things are really in a crisis stage right now, but stay tuned and share this widely.
