No, no, I'm sorry, President Biden, but you are President Biden.
I know that.
Will you please stop?
This is a perfect example of what I said to the President of Indiana last week.
I said, the Indiana press is much better behaved than the American press.
The Indian press, you are talking about the press in India, not Indiana.
Okay, for God's sake, just want to stay on point.
And the Indian press is ranked 142nd in the world for press freedom.
You mean freedom to bump into stuff in your office and ask questions about my beloved son Munter and crack and all the other stuff that was on his laptop computer, which isn't his, by the way.
How can you be so sure of that, Joe?
Because when he got it back, his password to crack up didn't work anymore.
I love my son.
Wait, Hunter got his laptop back?
Are you talking about the one he left at the repair place or the one he lost his shrinks office?
Let's stay on point, man.
America's press has a long way to go to catch up to Indiana Jones because we're only 44 on the list behind Ghana, Botswana, and some weird country they apparently call I Cali.
That's Italy.
We'll get to that later, Fat.
First, I want to send my apricots and pears.
I mean, thoughts and stares to the family of that missing guy lost in those four swamps.
I don't know why he's missing, but I suspect some kind of foul play behind his disappearance.
God willing, we will find the monster who did this and make them pay with more bombs in Syria.
Joe, you're mixing up the story.
No, here makes our story.
Story is since I became your president, I've done more than anyone else to let Vice President Kamala Harris stop all those Asians trying to illegally come over our border.
Joe, they're not Asians.
They're Haitians.
And the number of immigrants detained and deported has increased 70% under you.
Under you?
If they're not Asians, why are you bringing President Yu into this?
You're crazy.
Stay on the subject.
These are not departations.
These people are not coming into the country through legal means after fleeing the results of a century of us literally trying to kill everybody there.
It's that simple.
You guys, you have to follow the rules.
And if they don't, they get terrorized by men on horses.
Get with it.
When a knight on a horse comes up behind you, stop your damn car.
You don't make any sudden movements for the Globe Box to get your insurance.
Put your hands on the wheel.
You don't talk back and you'll be fine.
If you make our horse force fear for their lives, they have no choice but to react with whips.
Joe, don't you think whipping Haitians at the border is racist?
Those horses aren't racist, man.
Oh, sure, there's some bad horse apples, but I'm not going to defun our border horses, I promise you.
I'm going to increase their funding to provide sensitivity training.
Why can't we do the humanitarian thing and take care of these people, Joe?
We can't let thousands of Haitians invade our country and gather under our bridges.
Where will the homeless live?
Okay, thanks for the call, Joe.
Oh, will you shut up, man?
You're talking to the wrong guy.
And we're up.
We're up.
So Russell Brand got in trouble because this story that we reported, Clinton's lawyer was charged for lying in the Trump-Russia origin probe.
Here is when Clinton lawyer was charged.
The Russia scam is now indicted.
In accusing Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman of lying to the FBI, special counsel John Durham offers new evidence of the fabrications behind the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory.
And that's Aaron Matte, who won the award for debunking Russia Gate.
The indictment of Hillary Klim, which is an award he shares with this show.
So there's not just one award-winning guy on the show today.
And the indictment of Hillary Clinton's lawyer is an indictment of the Russia wing, RussiaGate wing of the U.S. media.
That's Glenn Greenwald right there.
And so that's not the big story here.
The big story is here, Russell Brand covered it.
So he covered it on his YouTube show.
It's got 2.1 million views, which is about a million more than anybody else.
And so here's what he said about it.
The world moves so fast, there's almost no time for history.
It seems like years ago that we were hearing that Trump was colluding with Russia, that he wouldn't have won the election without Russia, that his whole presidency was a kind of putin plot.
Well, there's now serious evidence that it was the Clinton campaign and Hillary Clinton acolytes that were directly involved in the generation of what has proven to be a conspiracy.
Untrue.
Think about how much media you watched.
Me, a person who I think, broadly speaking, is from the left, a liberal, certainly not a Trump support in Republican with respect to those of you that are, I find myself in awe, gobsmacked, flabbergasted, and startled by these revelations that RussiaGate was a Democratic conspiracy.
So he just said that, and immediately he's the new Susan Sarandon on Twitter.
That's it.
Everybody's mad at Russell Brand, but nobody's mad at the politicians who enriched themselves during Russia Gate, which was absolute bullshit.
All while simultaneously, they were expanding Trump's spying powers and fast-tracking his judges.
Nobody's mad at those people.
I wonder if maybe someday the United States will hold its politicians to the same standard it holds comedians who are from another country.
All right, so because they went nuts on him, here they are on Twitter.
David Weissman Blue Checker says, good morning to everyone except Russell Brand for believing that Trump was right and calling the Russian collusion a witch hunt.
I say, hey, good morning to the oil CEOs who are destroying our planet.
Good morning to the warmongers who are causing death and destruction around the globe.
Good morning to all the bought and sold politicians who sell the American people out for a paycheck.
Good morning to the for-profit healthcare system.
Good morning to everyone except Russell Brand because he called out my beloved Russia Gate fairy tale.
And it wasn't just him.
I've been interviewed by Russell Brand.
This is Seth Abramson.
I think Brand is generally smart and well-edited.
I'm also certain that the subtotal of his knowledge about the Trump-Russia scandal is dog shit.
All that's happened here is that Glenn Greenwald found another mark for his diff.
Again, they're just ignoring the story, just like with anything else they want to do, just like with Russia Gate.
They just make it up.
Never once saw Brand in the briefing room.
Don't take medical advice from Joe Rogan.
Don't take political journalistic advice from Russell Brand.
Okay.
They just went nuts on him.
So they're calling him a far-right guy.
And the real reason why they're calling him a far-right guy is because he's telling the truth about Russia Gate.
And this is what he really believes here.
I believe in contemporary bipartisan democracy.
I believe in real democracy, community democracy, collective democracy, power for the people that are affected by the decisions that are made by that democratic process, the removal of lobbying, control and regulation of powerful economic forces that dominate legislative and administrative procedure.
So I don't see either of those parties as being any better.
And when I had my chat on my podcast with Crystal Ball, there, she said, no, you can make the Democratic Party good again.
And they're sure there's loads of you think you can, you know, like under Trump, we love the Republic.
But I think both of these beasts are of no value to ordinary folk like you and me and never will be until the relationships between government, media, big tech, big business are properly investigated, until there's some real regulation, until there's a commitment, authenticity, truth, open-mindedness.
I just say what I see within the limitations that I have.
I'm not working for anybody else.
I'm not paid by anybody else.
I've got no interest in any particular outcome other than the betterment of human society, the betterment of our individual experience.
I don't want more power.
I don't want more money.
What I want is more truth, more freedom for me, more freedom for you.
You can't have one without the other.
All you can have within those confines are different flavors of tyranny.
And if your version of truth is oppressing other people's truth, if your version of victory is that you get to be the perpetrator rather than they get to be the perpetrator, then that's not something that interests me.
Real values drawn from somewhere deeper than these superficial systems.
So that's what Russell Brand actually thinks.
And he's the latest guy to be canceled for committing the crime of telling the truth.
And our guest said he tweeted this out.
Just that segment alone, after three days with no corporate backing, that segment he did about the Hillary Clinton-Russia Gate scandal is almost four times larger than Don Lemon's audience.
It's twice as large as Chris Hayes or Joy Reid's Comcast shows.
And I'll bet the number of people under 55 watching is more than 10 times what those shows get.
This is why employees of media corporations with the job title journalists so desperately agitate for more online censorship.
They know they'll have no audience unless it's a captive one.
And they know they'll be exposed if dissent from their lies and propaganda can be heard.
Let's bring in Glenn Greenwald right now.
So that was quite a you already bring me in.
You bring me in again.
I'm bringing you in again.
I brought you in at the clip.
I brought you into the live stream, but I'm bringing you in.
Okay.
There's two bringing me in.
There's two different places I enter.
Okay, I got it.
I'm a professional broadcaster, Glenn.
So that's why I was asking for your guidance so I wasn't disoriented and confused.
So just follow my lead.
It's like we're dancing.
I'll be the lead.
Okay.
So, Glenn, I'm going to bring you in without a tie, even though I know you just had one on.
I'm going to bring you in without a tie.
The tie that you wear at Rumble.
You didn't even wear it for my show.
But here, I'm going to bring you in.
Tell me, what did you, how crazy was this story?
So I've known Russell, you know, not super well, but reasonably well for a lot of years.
I find him one of the most thoughtful and insightful and independent-minded people who speak about politics.
And I've said that for a long time while before he just did a viral video based on my article and reporting on the indictment of Hillary's lawyers.
And the one thing that you cannot deny about Russell is he not in a distant way, but very recently is as, you know, kind of classically leftist as it gets.
His primary political activism over the past five to seven years has been vehement support for Jeremy Corbyn against the centrist and the Labor Party.
So there's no denying his leftist bona fides.
And yet he does, you know, he's actually been wandering off the liberal reservation for quite some time now.
I was actually on his show, I think maybe two or three months ago, and we spent a lot of time talking about Russia Gate and corporate media propaganda and how the Democrats are mostly just a brand and not a reality.
But what was amazing, Jimmy, is for the crime of having done a segment that was based on an indictment from the Biden Justice Department.
It was from the special prosecutor, John Durham, appointed by William Barr, but it was overseen by Merrick Garland and approved by Merritt Garland.
And they indicted Hillary's lawyer in connection with this fraud they perpetrated about that story that Trump had this like secret, clandestine, exotic server that allowed him to communicate with Alpha Bank, the Russian bank.
And it was disseminated by Hillary's campaign and all of her friendly media allies.
And the lie that her lawyer told was when he went to the FBI pretending he was just like this concerned citizen who had discovered this nefarious connection that he wanted the FBI to investigate.
They asked him, are you here in your capacity representing anyone?
And he said, no, I don't have any client.
I'm just an American who loves my country.
And it turned out he was representing Hillary's campaign.
He billed Hillary and her campaign, even for that meeting that he had with the FBI where he was trying to get them to go on this scavenger hunt, this wild goose chase in pursuit of this fake Russia gate story.
So for the crime of just walking through these facts in his YouTube program, it wasn't just that he was vilified on Twitter.
There's a kind of industry website that covers the entertainment industry called The Rap.
It's kind of like Variety or I forgot what the other one is.
Hollywood Reporter.
What's that?
Hollywood Reporter.
Yeah, like Hollywood Reporter Variety.
There's no one with a D. So yeah, they covered just the entertainment industry, which obviously is still where he works.
And it was not, Jimmy, this article was nothing except a bunch of angry liberal tweets like the kind that you read, but a bunch more, just strung together with the headline that says, has Russell Brand lost his mind?
And, you know, just one after the next, accusing him of being clinically insane, being in QAnon, of needing money, being desperate for money because his alimony payments from Katy Perry have ended.
So he's, you know, that all those accusations that anyone who deviates in any way from liberal orthodoxy is instantly subjected to.
You're mentally ill.
You are falling into this QAnon conspiracy theory.
You know, you're just grifting all the standard ways that they have to try and destroy your reputation.
And it was done by this website by doing nothing but calling and curating random tweets from nobody that called into question his integrity, his mental health, you know, everything.
And of course, zero engagement with the argument itself.
Yes.
But it shows that Russia Gate remains this kind of like religiously holy narrative for various liberal sectors.
I look forward to the shitlibs blaming Russell Brand for their loss in the midterms.
You know that's coming.
That's going to come too.
So this is So that story, it blows the roof off of if Russia Gate was real, why would Hillary Clinton's lawyer have to plant false Russia Gate stories with the FBI?
Now we know the dossier was funded by Hillary Clinton, who lied about funding it for a year before they admitted they funded it, was funded by the Clinton campaign, which was, again, all garbage debunked.
This whole thing, they've never produced any evidence that it was Russia that hacked into the DNC server because the DNC would never give their server to the FBI for it to be examined.
So there's no evidence anyway, either way of anything.
This is, again, Aaron Matte was given the IF Stone Award, the Izzy, for his meticulous debunking of this.
But you just mention a fact that goes counter narrative to the liberal agenda, and that's it.
You're canceled.
Joe Rogan, the reason why they call Joe Rogan a Trumper right-winger is because he endorsed Bernie Sanders.
Bernie Sanders, he endorsed Bernie Sanders, who was to the left of the Democratic Party.
So as soon as you get to the left of the Democratic Party, you're considered a right-winger.
That's what they call me.
That's what they call Joe Rogan.
And that's what they're to call you.
And that's what they call Russell Brand now.
As soon as you get to the left of them and tell the truth about them, they try to bet you're deplorable.
But how many more people can they do this to, you think?
Well, I think that's the point.
You know, I think five years ago, you know, eight years ago, it was genuinely harmful if the dominant sector of the corporate media united against you and set out to destroy your reputation.
You know, I've had that happen to me over the years, and I know the differing levels of impact that it has.
I think what you're seeing now is this kind of like desperate fluttering about because they know they have lost this power.
They know that they're really hated.
So they can do it in their little circles.
They have the power to cancel people in their little clicks, but these clicks are less powerful and more despised than ever.
And that's why I went to point out, you can have every Huffington Post and BuzzFeed writer and Gizmodo shithead and like Vice and Vox and all the rest.
Deadline.
You know, sit there.
Yeah, whoever sit there and say that, you know, Russell Brand is insane or crazy.
And you know what?
He's on YouTube piling up more views, watching what he says and listening to what he says because they trust him than all of those people combined.
And it's the same with you and it's the same with me.
We are uncancelable by them.
And we have independent platforms.
We have much larger audience sizes than they do.
And they know that.
It drives them.
It fills them with rage and feelings of inadequacy.
And that's one of the reasons why they're so embittered at anybody who wanders off, you know, the reservation and defies what they say because they have no other power.
This kind of like in-group herd behavior is all they have left.
But it doesn't matter.
You know, the people who listen to Russell Brand listen to him because they fucking hate Rachel Maddow and Don Lemon and, you know, Anderson Cooper and whoever writes for the Huffington Post.
They trust Russell Brand because they know that notwithstanding his left-wing politics, he's going to tell them, as he just said in that clip, what he's actually seeing.
And he's not captive to anybody unlike them.
And there's no substitute for that when it comes to fostering trust and confidence in the people with whom you're communicating.
I went to Russell Brand's website.
He's playing a giant theater every three days and I couldn't get a ticket.
So I'm just saying you're right.
He's going to be okay.
He's going to be okay.
Same thing with Joe Rogan.
The people who are constantly attacking Joe Rogan are the people who can't get 10,000 views on an article they write.
Whereas Joe Rogan is getting 200 million downloads a month to his podcast.
So you go on Twitter and you see a different universe that's actually than what's actually happening in the world.
Oftentimes you do see a different universe on Twitter or Facebook.
That's what's actually happening in the world.
Because what's actually happening in the world is people are being drawn to Russell Brand.
They're being drawn to you.
Look how you're killing it on Rumble.
They're being drawn to people like Joe Rogan and they're being drawn to this show and they can't stop it.
Now when they write hit pieces, they're comical, right?
Well, and not only that, the funniest part of it all is that the more they hate you, the better it is because they're so hated.
They're so hated.
I don't think there's any group of people who inspire more pervasive and intense contempt than these people who are employees of media corporations.
And with good reason, I encourage that.
That is a valid reaction to hate them and to harbor contempt for them.
They're liars.
They're scumbags.
They exist to propagandize and deceive and to serve power centers.
That's what they're there to do.
They deserve contempt.
But because of how hated they are, if they start attacking you, maybe 10 years ago they would harm you.
Now they help you.
Yes.
Because so many people look at that and think, well, if they're really this obsessed with destroying him or her, that must be a person that's worth listening to.
I'm going to go and see why they hate that person so much.
And it's funny to watch.
You know, I went on Twitter to tweet them about this, and it really is true.
You know, Michael Tracy, who was one of the very few kind of non-MAGA Russia Gauge skeptics from the very beginning, as relentless and systematic as Aaron and as you and as I was and as Tabi was, he basically, his entire career was built because he stood up to those bullies and provoked their scorn and didn't care.
And when people saw that, that he was uncaptive to them, he was liberated and emancipated from this shitty, rotted click, people started paying attention more to Michael Tracy and he grew a really big independent audience and has become uncancelable as well.
So they know this, Jimmy, that they're, you know, Freddie DeBoer wrote the kind of ultimate supreme essay about why these media people are so filled with hatred and why they're so bitter.
You know, they have shitty jobs where they have to write like eight articles a week, a day rather, just pure clickbait.
None of it has any impact.
You know, they're working for failing digital outlets because they don't produce anything interesting and nobody trusts them.
So they look around all the time and they have no job security because they're getting laid off by the dozens.
It's a very unfulfilling job.
They have zero freedom.
They impact nothing.
They have no power.
All they do is have like this resentment that grows each year that they go backwards.
And, you know, nobody likes embittered, rage-driven people full of a desire to be punitive and vengeful.
And everyone sees that's what they are.
So I'm going to transcribe what you just said the last 45 seconds.
I'm going to memorize it and say it on stage because it's really good.
That was really funny.
That was really a great take top.
That was fantastic.
Okay.
There's a labor Of love for me to spew scorn for them.
Yes.
I love it.
Yes.
And that's the thing that I don't.
If you're not looking for a job inside their world, they don't know what to do with you, right?
And I'm not looking for a job inside their world.
So all they can do is, you know, try to trash me, smear me, and get me canceled.
They even try to fake hashtag me too against me.
They've tried everything, and it's not working.
It doesn't work.
And here you are.
And here you are with an audience size and a level of trust in your audience that they will never have if they live to be 5,000 years old.
And they know that.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy.
It's former President Barack Obama.
Oh, hey, Mr. President.
How you doing?
Jimmy, I'm doing fantastic.
Just great.
Guess where I am right now?
How would I know that?
I don't track your movements, Mr. President.
Come on, just guess.
It'll be fun.
How about you're at your gaudy palatial estate on Martha's Vineyard?
No, good guess, I suppose, but I'm not there.
We are currently off the VIN, as we say.
Michelle came up with that.
Okay, give up then.
Timmy, we're my old stomping grounds and your old stomping grounds, the south side of Chicago.
Michelle and I are breaking ground on the Obama Presidential Library.
How about that?
I think that's some shit.
Oh, yeah, right, right.
Well, it would have been nice if you could have done so without the destruction of hundreds of mature trees in Jackson Park, something some activists have called an environmental disaster on a local scale.
Again, with these fucking trees, I've had it with these damn things.
It's all anyone's talking about.
You know, you try and make a simple act of self-aggrandizement and legacy enhancement, and people get all up your ass about some dumbass trees.
Unbelievable.
They provide shade and remove local CO2 from the atmosphere.
They were important.
I don't know if you, I don't know if you know this or not, Timmy, but my library is going to have a fucking roof.
You ever been to a library?
Well, it's a building that's got a fucking roof.
So we won't be needing shade.
Thank you, though.
Thank you, trees.
Thank you for your service.
But now we're going to rip all your asses out the ground.
It just seems so unnecessary.
Jimmy, it's called breaking ground.
A ground breaking.
So yeah, we're going to break that bitch.
Break her fucking back.
That's how it goes.
When you build a big-ass building, motherfucker's going to die.
We've got to dig out that foundation.
That's going to displace a lot of dirt.
Imagine all the worms that are going to be homeless.
Think of the worms, Jimmy.
There's no end to this shit.
I wouldn't say that.
I wouldn't say that's the same thing.
Well, it will be to some people.
People just have it in for me, and they'll take any opportunity to make me look like a bad ombre.
Gee, and why do you think that might be, Mr. President?
You know, because of how divisive the political rhetoric and discourse has become in this country.
It's toxic.
And it's sort of the theme to my library.
It's going to be about unity and what unites us as a country, not divides us.
And how I used my eight years in office to try to bring people together in that way.
What kind of things are you going to have in there?
Well, Jimmy, one exhibit that I'm especially proud of is an interactive station where folks can go sit down and pilot a drone.
Jeez.
And, you know, simulation being involved in civilians, weddings, whatever.
The interface they've come up with is really amazing.
And kids can do it too.
In fact, they're encouraged.
Have a little Timmy come up there and do a double tap.
Wait, are you serious?
Of course not, Dummy.
It's sort of sad that that wasn't an obvious joke, though, right?
Look, I've been fucking with you, Jimmy D. I know why people give me hell.
People like you hate me because I didn't do this or I didn't do that.
Well, tough shit.
I did the job for eight years.
You didn't do the job.
You didn't do what you were elected to do at all.
Jimmy, you don't get it.
The people elected me, but the government hired me.
My paycheck was signed by the Treasury, not Joe the Plumber.
So, yeah, I did the job I was hired to do, which was to keep this rickety-ass Republic held together just long enough to hand it over to the next guy.
Yeah.
So the last thing I could possibly do was to keep my campaign promises.
Yeah, you mine.
This sounds like something you shouldn't say out loud.
Hey, I'm proud of doing the job I'm hired to do.
Like when I give a speech and get paid a lot of money, that feels good.
I did what I was paid to do.
At the end of the day, aren't you glad that there's still a country at all?
Yeah, but we want this to be a country to survive and be better.
Well, yeah, we can change, but it's got to be incremental.
Oh, my God.
I love that there's one word that just drives everybody crazy.
Be praying when I say incremental, and I love that.
I love that for me.
Jesus.
Well, Jimmy, I hope you're mad.
I got to go.
They're going to let Michelle bulldoze the homeless encampment that's blocking the construction site.
She's excited.
I love seeing her like this.
Anyway, keep it sleazy, and I'll be back to lecture you sometime.
Okay, fuck off.
We're doing a live Jimmy Door show in Sacramento, October 3rd.
We just added a second show.
Plus, we're doing stand-up comedy in Florida in West Palm Beach and Dania.
And then we're going to Buffalo, Baltimore, Tempe, and Portland.
Go to JimmyDoorComedy.com for a link for all our tickets.
So this is quite a story.
This is a story that shows the bipartisan assault on the Constitution and journalism and a free press.
So it wasn't Trump getting in Jim Acosta, calling Jim Acosta a name.
It was Trump and Pompeo and Obama and Biden trying to kill and kidnap journalists for reporting on war crimes.
And so this story is now being reported by Yahoo.
But Gray Zone broke this story in 2020.
We're going to get to that.
So this is what's being reported now.
Kidnapping, assassination, and a London shootout inside the CIA's secret war plans against WikiLeaks.
Discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred at the highest levels of the Trump administration, said a former senior counterintelligence official.
There seemed to be no boundaries.
Senior officials inside the CIA and the Trump administration discussed killing Assange.
That's the guy Jenk Uger says was working for Trump.
Assange was working for Trump.
That's what Jenk Uger says.
And the people at the Young Turks go along with it.
They say that he was working for the guy who was actively trying to kill him.
That's how corrupt the Young Turks and Jenk Uger are.
That's how corrupt they are.
They're willing to lie and do the thing that they claim Trump is doing, assaulting journalism.
That's what the young Turks do.
That's what Jenk Uger does, going after Julian Assange, saying he's working for Trump as Trump was trying to kill him.
That's the most egregious thing you can do in the news space.
And the young Turks did it at the top of their lungs and have never apologized for it.
And that video is still up.
And they'll never have to answer for it because he's doing the bidding of the CIA and the establishment, Jenk Uger And the TYT when they smear Julian Assange.
That's who they're doing the bidding of.
The Trump administration, Pompeo, and now Biden.
That's who the young Turks in Jank Hugo are doing the bidding of when they say Assange was working for Trump.
So going so far as to, they requested sketches or options for how to assassinate him.
The conversations were part of an unprecedented CIA campaign directed against WikiLeaks and its founder.
The agency's multi-pronged plans also include extensive spying on WikiLeaks associates, sowing discord among the group's members and stealing their electronic devices.
This is what Trump was doing.
President Trump's newly installed CIA director, Mike Pompeo, was seeking revenge on WikiLeaks and Assange.
They were seeing blood, said former Trump security officials.
The CIA's fury at WikiLeaks led Pompeo to publicly describe the group in 2017 as a non-state hostile intelligence service.
The designation opened the door for agency operatives to take aggressive actions, treating the organization as it does adversary spy services.
So they were treating a journalist and a journalist outlet, a news outlet, as if they were a hostile spy agency.
Pompeo and others at the agency proposed abducting Assange from the embassy and surreptitiously bringing him back to the United States via a third country, a process known as rendition.
The idea was to break into the embassy, drag Assange out, and bring him to where we want, said a former intelligence official.
Some discussions even went beyond kidnapping.
U.S. officials had also considered killing Assange, according to three former officials.
One of those officials said he was briefed on a spring 2017 meeting in which the president asked whether the CIA could assassinate Assange and provide him options for how to do so.
They're talking about killing journalists.
That's what they're planning.
That's what the CIA does.
They're not good guys.
They're not Boy Scouts.
They're the terrorists.
They're the murderers.
And here is Pompeo.
When I was a cadet.
Here's Pompeo out in public talking about what a big liar and criminal that he is at the CIA.
Watch this.
When I was a cadet, what's the first, what's the cadet motto at West Point?
He will not lie, cheat, or steal or tolerate those who do.
I was the CIA director.
We lied, we cheated, we steal, stole.
We had entire training courses.
It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment.
Yes, it does.
Yes, it does.
So in late 2017, in the midst of the debate over kidnapping and assassinations, the agency's plans were upended when U.S. officials picked up what they viewed as alarming reports that Russian intelligence operatives were preparing to sneak Assange out of the United Kingdom to Moscow.
That's a double CK.
In response, the CIA and the White House began preparing for a number of scenarios to foil Assange's Russian departure plans.
Those included potential gun battles with Kremlin operatives on the streets of London, crashing a car into a Russian diplomatic vehicle, transporting Assange, and then grabbing him and shooting out the tires of a Russian plane carrying Assange before he could take off from Moscow.
We had all sorts of reasons to believe he was contemplating getting the hell out of here, said a former senior official, adding that one report said Assange might try to escape the embassy hidden in a laundry cart.
It was going to be like a prison break movie.
So you tweeted this out.
So here it is from the, is this The Guardian?
The only barrier to Julian Assange's leaving Ecuador's embassy is pride.
That's from a guy named James Ball.
The WikiLeaks founder is unlikely to face prosecution in the U.S. charges.
So this is just a guard.
What a garbage, guess garbage, garbage, garbage.
The Obama administration's view of WikiLeaks underwent a sea change shortly before Donald Trump, helped in part by WikiLeaks.
So as they're trying to kill him, this guy's writing an article saying that it's Julian Assange is a big fucking egomaniac.
It's his pride that's keeping him there.
Not that they're trying to kill him.
The CIA.
The Obama administration's view of Wikileaks underwent a sea change shortly before Donald Trump, helped in part by WikiLeaks' release of Democratic campaign emails, won a surprise victory over Clinton in the 2016 election.
After the publication of the Democratic Party emails, there was zero debate on the issue of whether the CIA would increase its spying on WikiLeaks at a former intelligence official.
So Obama's administration with Biden switched into going after WikiLeaks full throttle.
The CIA now considered people affiliated with Wikileaks valid targets for various types of spying, including close-in technical collections, such as bugs, sometimes enabled by in-person espionage, and remote operations, meaning, among other things, the hacking of WikiLeaks members' devices from afar.
Asked whether the CIA had broken into WikiLeaks associates' homes and stolen or wiped their hard drives.
A former intelligence official declined to go into detail, but said that some actions were taken.
Yahoo News did not break the story of the CIA spy spying on the on-and-murderous designs for Assange.
Max Blumenthal did in May of 2020.
Why did so few pay attention to it back then?
And here it is.
Here's that article.
The American Friends new court files expose exposes Sheldon Adelson's security team in U.S. spy operation against Julian Assange.
So this is from the Gray Zone files obtained by the Gray Zone, detailed an elaborate and illegal U.S. surveillance operation in which the security firm UC Global spied on Julian Assange, his legal team, his American friends, U.S. journalists, and an American member of Congress who had been dispatched to the Ecuadorian embassy by President Trump.
Even the Ecuadorian diplomats whom UC Global was hired to protect were targeted by the spy ring.
UC Global staffers recalled the Americans were desperate to end Assange's presence in the embassy.
They were proposing to activate more extreme measures against him, including the possibility of leaving one diplomatic mission door open to kidnap the asylum seeker or even the possibility of poisoning Mr. Assange.
Throughout the black operations campaign, U.S. intelligence appears to have worked through Sheldon Adelson's Las Vegas Sands, a company that had previously served as an alleged front for a CIA blackmail operation several years earlier.
Now let me bring in Max Blumenthal, who wrote that article in May of 2020.
So he broke that story, but now it's only being reported now, a year and a half later.
Why is that, Max?
Well, because the mainstream media has completely abandoned Julian Assange and after demonizing him and participating in the information war against him in Wikileaks.
So this article by Michael Isakoff and a team at Yahoo News tracks very closely with my article and Isakoff through all his spook sources, which he used to whip up RussiaGate.
Where he confessed that he got a large part of the story wrong and disowned a large part of his book with David Korn on the steel dossier.
He's bringing 30 U.S. former and current intelligence officers to bear in this story to basically confirm my reporting and the reporting of others.
I wasn't the only reporter working on this story, but I brought out many details that hadn't been previously reported or accentuated.
Sheldon Adelson being the sort of third party that ran this CIA black operation, was one of them, along with the documents that I was able to obtain of internal communications and testimony by employees of the firm that was used by the CIA, hired through Sheldon Adelson's Las Vegas Sands Corporation to target Julian Assange and all his associates.
So it was all there in clear print.
I mean, even, you know, I even produced screenshots of these documents and the text messages from the firm hired by the CIA about everything they were doing.
They confessed everything down to considering poisoning Julian Assange, considering leaving a door open at the embassy, the Ecuadorian embassy where he was holed up in London to send a kidnap team in to get him.
And the targeting of all of his associates, including Glenn Greenwald, who we see in this Yahoo News piece, along with Laura Poitras, was targeted.
The spying on Julian Assange's partner, Stella Morris, the spying on their child, sending even an operative to snatch their child's diaper out of a trash can in order to do a DNA test on them, seizing journalists, devices, laptops, including journalists like Ellen Nakashima, who's the chief national security correspondent for the Washington Post, who went to visit Assange.
She had her laptop snatched by CIA agents in the Ecuadorian embassy.
And they went into her devices, and she never said a damn word about it.
This should have been a major front-page story.
The CIA is targeting American journalists because they went to visit Julian Assange.
I mean, it was all there.
Yahoo News is not really breaking anything new here.
They're just taking what independent media had been doing and what the gray zone had been doing and putting it in a mainstream space and then applying this Russia gate, this new Russia gate veneer to the story to continue to cast Julian Assange in a negative light as a potential Russian asset or Kremlin tool.
And that's a separate issue.
We can get into that.
But basically, I was able to report this story because the head of the firm who was recruited through Sheldon Adelson's Las Vegas Sands, his name is David Morales.
Sands was recruiting him through a CIA asset.
Pompeo was obviously presiding over this whole operation to recruit him.
They recruited him because he was already running security at the Ecuadorian embassy with his firm while Julian Assange was there.
And he wanted to be like a big man in the security world.
So after being recruited at this security fair in Las Vegas, he wrote back to his employees in Spain and said, We're playing with the big boys now.
We're working for the Americans.
They changed all the cameras out in the embassy, put in hidden mics to spy on all Julian Assange's conversations with his lawyers, watched everything he did.
And meanwhile, we're plotting to kill him in Langley and were told to harass and assassinate, not assassinate, to harass and spy on all of his associates.
So WikiLeaks people who came there, journalists who came there, friends of Julian Assange, Randy Credico, our friend who's an activist and comedian who went to visit Julian Assange, all of them were spied on.
And Morales was eventually kind of turned in by his employees because of the assassination plot.
Once when he started proposing poisoning Assange, and this was obviously now we know it's coming from Langley, his employees started to say this is too much.
They went to Spanish police.
The Spanish police initiated an investigation.
Morales was arrested on his way back from a very suspicious trip to South America in Spain.
He was put on trial in the Spanish national court, the same court where former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet was put on trial.
The trial is ongoing.
And I was able to obtain a lot of the files, the internal communications of Morales' firm through that case.
And these files told the story of the war on WikiLeaks, the war on Julian Assange.
And it was obvious when you read them, when you read the WhatsApp messages and text messages from Morales, he's constantly talking about the American client, the American friends.
He's writing messages from IP addresses at Las Vegas Sands, but they're being written and they're instructions on how to swap out certain programs in the camera system that's spying on Assange.
But they're written in perfect English at Las Vegas Sands as if an intelligence operative is kind of hovering over his shoulder.
Morales speaks Spanish.
His English is very poor, very, very poor.
So it was obvious to me that the CIA was directing this operation.
And, you know, it becomes increasingly clear when you consider the relationship of Sheldon Adelson, who the CIA was using to give itself plausible deniability, running everything through his operation, the relationship of Adelson to Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo.
Adelson was the top donor, individual donor to Donald Trump's political campaigns.
He basically crafted through Jared Kushner Donald Trump's Middle East policy.
And Mike Pompeo, if he runs for Senate in Kansas or if he runs for president, I bet you anything we're going to see Sheldon Adelson take a strong interest in helping Mike Pompeo.
And that will help confirm this story even further.
But just kind of, you know, you can get lost in a lot of the details.
What we have here is the Central Intelligence Agency assaulting journalism itself and targeting a journalist as revenge for that journalist embarrassing the national security state and even considering killing them.
The fact that that hasn't sent shockwaves through the entire practice of journalism and triggered the kind of outrage we saw when Donald Trump was mean to one of the most annoying people in the Beltway Press Corps, Jim Acosta, is really an indictment of the whole mainstream media.
Yes, which is why someone as unqualified as me can step into the journalism world and outdo those motherfuckers whenever I feel like it.
Well, because they believe in nothing.
I mean, Julian Assange, how many stories did WikiLeaks feed them over the years?
How right was WikiLeaks about Afghanistan?
How many front-page stories relied on WikiLeaks?
And then, you know, Julian Assange gets arrested in this massive violation of the sovereignty of Ecuador.
I mean, just it's such a shocking operation with British police running up into Ecuadorian sovereign territory, dragging him out.
He's being held.
And the Washington Post and New York Times endorsed that.
Yes.
They endorsed that.
Yes.
Of course.
So this idea that Trump is the bad guy in America, or that Trump is the only bad guy in America, is one of the most, it's the biggest lie I think ever told because they're all as despicable or more.
Joe Biden has a much longer kill list than Donald Trump does, that's for sure.
Joe Biden has inflicted way more pain on black and brown people in the United States than Trump ever did.
That's for goddamn sure.
And so this idea that other people are good people, like Joe Biden or the people in the CIA or people in the FBI, they're all criminals of the highest order.
And they don't give a shit about the Constitution or free press or journalism or liberty.
They don't care about any of that.
And this story proves it.
And Max blew this story open over a year and a half ago.
And now Michael Issakoff, who spent five years misinforming people about Trump and Russia Gate, finally admitted he did.
Now a year and a half after you broke the story, he's pretending to break.
They're all pretending to break the story.
So that's great.
It's just yeah, I mean, there was no credit there.
And what Isakoff did was he added an entire extra section to imply that Assange was a Russian agent of some sort.
Yes.
So they had to push Russia in there and it was just made up.
Go ahead.
Yeah, I mean, basically in 2017, there was a plan to get Assange out of the embassy.
And it was being crafted by his lawyers with the cooperation of the Ecuadorian government and specifically the Ecuadorian security services, Senaín.
And the Ecuadorian security services didn't know that the CIA had infiltrated their camera system and taken over the security firm that had been hired to protect Assange.
So they sent their chief, Romy Vallejo, like Pompeo's counterpart, to meet with Assange during the final hour.
And Vallejo didn't know that he was being spied on by the CIA.
The CIA knew about this.
U.S. diplomats in Ecuador began threatening the Ecuadorian government not to do it.
It was clear that the U.S. knew about the plan.
But I interviewed several people who were involved in the plan, and none of them mentioned to me anything about having Russian agents actually come and try to spirit Assange out of the embassy and engage in gunfights with the British secret services, the MI5, as Issakoff described.
In fact, the plan was to simply grant him diplomatic status, and it could have been from a country.
One of the countries they mentioned was Evo Morales' Bolivia.
Another country was Serbia.
Russia was in the list of countries, but to concoct an operation where you would actually have to potentially rush Julian Assange through British territory, through London, in some kind of Russian spy car to an airplane and engage in possible gunfights with British secret police seems like, I mean, that was never mentioned.
And it's something that Assange and WikiLeaks would have rejected.
So Isakoff, for all the good this story does and bringing out the fact that the CIA has considered killing Assange and his associates and showing how this case has completely fallen apart.
The fact that his attorney client privilege was so flagrantly violated and that his meetings with his lawyers were spied on means that he can't possibly have a fair trial in the U.S. if he's extradited.
But Isakoff then adds all of this element, this whole element about Russia trying to get Assange out of the country without really considering what the actual people who made the plan had to say and kind of undoes a lot of the good that the story does.
And, you know, that's what Isakoff's been doing for the past few years.
So he's just repeating.
So he went from repeating one CIA conspiracy theory bullshit thing, which was Russia Gate, to this new sick.
He just got it right from the CIA people.
That's where this comes from.
And he repeats it uncritically, that the CIA said that Russia was planning to do this.
They're just making it up.
And then Isakov just repeats it uncritically.
Like, he doesn't even say, let's remember this is the same CIA that's been lying all along.
He doesn't do any of that.
But great work, Max.
That was fantastic.
Of course, nobody knows the ins and outs more than you.
So I appreciate you coming on and enlightening everybody.
So again, the United States press is ignoring.
They just consider all the elements in the story.
It should be Hollywood blockbuster film or Netflix series.
I mean, it's all there, and they're just, they won't touch it.
And they won't touch it.
You're right.
And I mean, like I said, Washington Post, top national security reporter, was spied on by the CIA while meeting Assange, had her devices taken.
Anthony Lowell Bergman, who worked for the New York Times and NPR, he's spied on as well.
Glenn Greedwald, spied on, had his devices taken.
They, you know, even worse, there was a directive to paint Greenwald as some kind of Russian agent if they could gather the information.
Laura Poitras, targeted as well.
European associates of Wikileaks, there was a proposal to assassinate them.
This is all on the record now.
We know this to be true.
It's not just whatever Isakoff sources say.
It's what is clearly laid out by these internal documents that have tumbled out of the Spanish national court that are the internal communications of the firm that the CIA hired.
And it's just such an amazing story, and the media won't touch it.
The public would love to hear about this.
I mean, how is some magazine like the New York or New York Magazine or whatever, The Atlantic, not going to sell an issue off this if it's on the cover?
Right?
It's because they hate Assange, because they love the national security state, because they are the national security state.
They're the megaphone and stenographers of the national security state.
And when Atlantic magazine has its ideas festivals, who's there to rustle up the bucks and sell and pay for these meetings for sale with the Atlantic's top journalists?
Who's funding these ideas festivals?
Boeing, the arms industry, big pharma, and everyone who has skin in the game on all of these official narratives.
Okay, Max Blumathoff from the Gray Zone.
Thank you so much for coming on.
Journalism is under assault in the United States and abroad.
And it's coming from the establishment.
They're not defending journalism.
They're assaulting it.
The mainstream media is assaulting journalism.
Yes.
Yes, 100%.
Hey, this is Jimmy Doerr.
Who's this?
Oh, hi, Jimmy.
This is Utah Senator Milton Mitt Romney.
Mormon missionary, Mormon bishop, proud son of George and Lenore Romney, and loser of the presidential popular vote by a margin of 47% to 51% to a man who is clearly not of Scottish German descent like myself.
Great grandson to Parley P. Pratt and his sons Parker, Payton, Piper, Pritt, Piff, and Pennis.
Pronounced Pennis, not penis.
And boy, did I ever have fun, just have fun on a big inflatable boat with a bunch of swell fellas?
Would you care to hear my story?
Of course, Mitt.
We'll get this.
In an effort to better understand the effect of climate change on my home state of Utah, even though I grew up in Michigan, I donned my most stylish sandals and went completely rogue with climate scientists on the Colorado River.
That must have been exciting, huh?
Affirmative, Jimmy.
It was humbling to gaze upon the ancient geology that carved the Colorado River almost 600 years ago.
Wait, I thought the Colorado River was 5 million years old.
Oh, no, Jimmy.
According to the Bible, God invented the Colorado River around the same time he developed hot dog meat.
He did that in order to better facilitate proper usage of our natural resources for the enjoyment of recreational users.
