Well, when I was younger, they were sending rockets and people that shut up to space constantly.
Apollo, Mercury, Voyager, Zoom.
They sent that friendly message to aliens with the naked man and woman waving.
Right.
Nice pair of hips on that broad, by the way.
Come on, Al.
Then they had the space shuttles, and a couple of them blew the fuck up.
And then they stopped all that shit.
And now they just have a space station.
Right.
But lately, it seems like the rockets are going up again.
Okay, Al.
Explain to me your understanding of what happened the other day.
All right.
So the other day, the man who founded Bets.com.
No, Al.
Amazon.
Same thing.
Pets.com, Amazon, Lycos, GeoCities.
These all comprise my extremely vague understanding of the information superhighway.
Okay, fine.
So anyway, ask Jeeves, put on a cowboy hat, and he and his brother and an old lady climbed inside a giant dildo and went into space for about 10 minutes.
And it was all over the news.
That's about it, Al.
Okay, I guess this is my question.
Why?
Well, the man in question, whose name is Jeff Bezos, is a tax-dodging billionaire narcissist who likes to flaunt the fact that instead of ending world hunger in a week, he chooses to fly into space just because he can.
Isn't that nice?
He could end world hunger and he's doing this instead.
Oh, easily.
I'm always hungry.
No, Al, Al.
Actual hunger, malnutrition, starvation, that kind of thing.
I hear that, brother.
Yeah, also, Bezos and the rest of these super-rich space clowns like Richard Branson and Elon Musk.
They believe that we should not worry so much about the Earth's problems and focus on colonizing space.
Cool.
No, Al, not cool.
We need to focus on literally saving our own planet, not indulging the fantasies of megalomaniacs.
But why?
Because Earth is our home, Al.
We're made to live here, not on the friggin' moon.
Do you want to live on the moon, Al?
I don't know.
Do they have Chipotle?
No, Al, if these Jokers have their way, they probably will.
On second thought, I don't even like leaving my condo.
Forget that.
I say we stay put on Earth.
I agree.
So why is everybody paying attention to these Jabronis and their dumb fantasies?
It was all over the news.
Because they're rich, Al.
That's why we worship wealth in this country.
So people think the mega-billionaires know something we don't about the way forward.
Like they have the key to the future because they have way too much money.
And they don't.
Yeah, I used to think that too.
And now I don't.
Just because someone is super wealthy does not mean they're smart.
Usually they're just lucky.
Oftentimes they are the opposite of smart.
You know what?
That's true.
Robert Evans, you know, the studio guy.
He had more money than God, but he was dumb as a box of hammers.
He had this thing where he didn't know whether to push or pull to open a door.
Even if it said push or pull.
He could read, but there wasn't...
It got so embarrassing for him that he hired a special assistant just to follow him around and open the doors.
Even on dates.
So he'd be out with like Annie McGraw, but the door guy, his name was Benito.
I remember that now.
Had to open the doors for her, too.
Sometimes after a date, the lady would bang Benito.
Dumbass.
All right.
Okay.
Okay.
Well, yeah, point taken.
Sometimes rich guys are dumb.
And that's what we're dealing with there.
All right, Jimmy.
I always appreciate you clearing things up for me.
I was so confused.
But then you made me remember Benito, and now I understand space.
Thank you, my friend.
Well, I'm glad I could help, Al.
To the moon, Alice.
But only figuratively.
All right.
Establishment media sets of artists lighting so good luck the bullshit we can't afford comedians who speeds and jumps the medium and hits him head on it's the chimator show all right so guess what's happening u.s military carries out first airstrike in somalia under biden isn't that nice that a demented guy gets to decide who to kill that
awesome isn't that great ah joe biden is in his 70s the 70s that's the amount of bombs that biden would like to drop in a week and the decade he's living in that's what it is uh here we go uh biden loves war so much you would think it was a young girl's hair i won the white house for two things war and ice cream and right now we're out of ice
cream hey i wonder if hunter is going to paint a picture of the bombs dropping and then and then brian williams could buy it isn't it okay so here we go the strikes were carried out by military aircraft against shabab fighters who are attacking members of the danaab an elite american trained somali commando force said a pentagon spokesperson pentagon
spokesman john kirby told reporters that any plan strikes outside of
afghanistan syria and iraq had to be submitted to the white house to ensure that the president has full visibility on proposed significant actions you want to make sure the demented guy knows what's going on in somalia the strike he doesn't even know what's going on at his house he doesn't even know what's going on in his own head the strike came as the biden administration was considering whether to reverse the u.s military withdrawal from somalia that took place under mr trump somalia
is one of the poorest countries in the world and we're bombing it about half the population are nomads and do not have permanent place of residence there's practically no functioning economy and the country cannot cope with even the most pressing issues of health nutrition or education but we're so we'll bomb it the u.s military just bombed somalia for the first time during biden presidency, says Jackson Hinkle.
Odd move from the administration who has consistently told us that we can't have Medicare for all, student loan cancellation, or a bold climate action because these policies are too costly.
Biden has bombed Somalia.
This is from Danny Haifong from the Black Agenda report.
Biden has bombed Somalia.
He has also conducted the U.S. largest military exercise in Africa and threatened Ethiopia and Eritrea with regime change, yet anti-war forces haven't grown.
The role of Democrats is to ensure the brutality of imperialism is rendered more palatable.
So he's saying, while Biden is ramping up all these wars, the anti-war movement isn't awakening up or growing because when the Democrats do it, no one gives a shit.
And that's exactly right.
What exactly has the push-biden-left crowd been doing?
They've been having brunch.
That's what they've been doing.
What has the push-biden-left crowd?
What have the young Turks been doing?
They've been advocating for more bombing in Syria and repeating CA talking points while they smear anti-war journalists like Julian Assange and Aaron Mate.
That's what the Push-Biden left has been doing.
Sorry, but pushing Biden left is violence and quite frankly divisive.
We have to wait until after the midterms when the Dems lose the House and the Senate, says Chris Hagen's a scat muncher.
So, Graham, it's great.
I think Tulsi Gabbard was proven wrong.
We're not doing too much interventionism.
We're not doing too much imperialism.
Foreign wars are good.
Bombing poor brown countries are great.
Go ahead.
No, I think the people in Somalia are very, very happy that their bombs have rainbow flags on them and say Black Lives Matter.
So it's really, it's really great, you know, that the lesser, getting bombed by the lesser of two evils absolutely must feel better for poor people and countries.
I mean, this is just, and again, like you said, we're going to pull Biden to the left.
Really?
So he's, let me see if I got this right.
He's bombed Syria twice.
He's now bombing Somalia.
He's threatening more war in all these other countries, like Haifong pointed out.
He's spending more money on ICE than Trump did.
But so how is he being pulled to pull it to the left?
Where's the pull to the left?
Oh, we can't afford Medicare for all.
We've got this milquetoast climate plan that would have been great in 1983.
I mean, just on down the line, the country's on fire.
It's just record-breaking temperatures.
But we always have money for war.
We always have money to bomb poor brown people.
I mean, not surprising that Vice President Harris is involved in this.
I mean, she put all these black people behind bars as Attorney General in the state of California.
So now she's involved in bombing people in Africa.
Yay, diversity.
We did it.
Yay, we got a demented old white guy.
Isn't that great to do bombing of people of color in Africa?
Isn't that great?
I think it's great.
And it's really, you know, Biden's cognitive decline is worse than Reagan's second term, where we now know Reagan had, you know, dementia and they hid it from us.
And Biden is just, I mean, we talked about this over a year ago.
You and I on both our respective shows during the primary had clear cognitive decline and no one would talk about it.
And now, like, so who is actually calling for the bombing?
Is it Biden?
Are they just like, hey, President Biden, maybe sign?
I mean, what is he doing?
So we don't have a real democracy now.
That's a good point.
Who is calling for the bombing then?
Who is?
If he's not aware of what's going on and doesn't know where he is, that was the big question and a very valid question in Reagan's second term.
If he wasn't cognitively there, if the president isn't all there mentally, who's making these decisions?
Which means the person that the American people elected is not running the country.
Other people are.
Half the people in Somalia don't even have a home and we're bombing it.
Bombing it.
Half the people in Somalia don't even have a home and we're bombing it.
Oh, man.
Thank God we're bringing some democracy to the people of Somalia, huh?
Ooh, I bet they're thrilled that we're bringing them to democracy.
Nothing like hot fresh democracy, fire, hellfire from the sky democracy.
And I'd like to add, can we add up?
Do we know what the cost of these bombs, just per bomb, what those costs are, and then take that and maybe give it to the people who've lost their jobs because of COVID rather than bomb poor people?
I'm sure Somalia hasn't had any sort of cakewalk through COVID.
It was already suffering before this pandemic, and now we're bombing it.
Like, what are we going to do next?
Just bomb Skid Row in downtown L.A.?
Like, what are we going to do next?
Right?
Why don't we bomb it?
We should bob Skid Row.
Get rid of it.
Yeah, that'll solve the problems.
And then the bomb manufacturers will keep them employed.
Yeah, that's a good way to create a job.
Got to create a job killing people.
That's what we do.
We have a death economy.
You know that.
America's a death cult.
I mean, we're insane.
America's a crazy place.
You talk to people that live outside of this country and they're like, what is going on?
You guys are insane.
Yeah, we're Mad Max here.
America's nuts.
America's just out to lunch nuts.
And, you know, us actual like left, anti-war lefties, we're politically homeless because I've posted on social media about Biden's war since he's been in office.
And the people I get the most crap from are like liberals.
Yes.
Of course.
Liberals are mad at me.
Like they sound like Republicans, like pro-war Republicans.
I'm like, and so what, what's, and then, and the, yeah, but Trump, shut up, Trump's gone.
I don't want to hear it.
Trump's gone.
He's done.
He's done.
I don't want to hear it.
So now Biden, where is this pulling him to the left?
Where is it?
He just keeps bombing poor people.
And again, just like when Obama got sworn.
Remember, there was a very vibrant anti-war movement when Bush was lying about weapons of mass destruction and getting us into Iraq and the bombing and everything in Afghanistan and all of those hawks in the Bush cabinet.
There was a thriving anti-war movement.
People were protesting for months leading up to the war in Iraq.
Obama gets sworn in.
Everybody goes to sleep.
They give Barack Obama, they give him a Nobel Peace Prize, and he immediately starts bombing seven different countries.
Yes.
Seven.
He dropped more bombs than Bush.
That's right.
People don't know that.
Barack Obama dropped more bombs than George Bush and Dick Cheney.
He dropped so many bombs, they ran out of bombs.
The Air Force ran out of bombs.
That happened.
Ran out.
Wow.
26,171 bombs just in his last year, 2016.
That was his last year.
Like, I mean, it's such a joke that these liberals will not wake up and they think they're so woke.
And all those, the red state people vote against their own interests.
So do you.
So do you.
You guys do it every day.
So do you.
Anytime you vote for a Democrat, You're voting against your own interests.
Yes.
You voted for Barack Obama, you're voting against your own interests.
Unless you're rich and have stock in Raytheon.
Yeah, or Citibank.
If you have stock in those companies, then I guess you are voting for your own interests and you don't care that poor people are getting bombed.
That's the other thing.
Many of these rich liberals, these rich Hollywood liberals that are like former friends of ours because they're mad at us for calling out the truth.
Because you know what?
They don't care, Jimmy.
They don't need $15 an hour and they probably don't need Medicare for all because they've got some one of these gigs with one of the big show business unions like writing for TV with the WGA or SAG.
So they don't need Medicare for all.
And, you know, bombing poor people in the Middle East, that's not their problem.
It's just not their problem.
As long as they can, you know, go to lattes and hang out on the set of some big show, you know, Hollywood corporate media program that's they're making money for billionaires and they can pat themselves on the back to say that they're not as bad as Trump, then they're fine.
They don't, they don't care about poor people.
They don't care about the homeless people in their own city.
In their own city, they don't care about the homeless people in their own fucking city.
Grab, they don't care.
Don't give a shit.
And we have a super majority Democrat in California legislature.
We have a Democratic governor, and this state is just as big a shithole as any other, if not bigger.
We have a Democratic mayor of Los Angeles.
We have a Democratic city council.
We got one.
Nithya Rahman was like one lefty socialist who made her way in there.
But everybody else in the LA City Council all gets money from the big developers, which is why you can't drive.
I defy you to drive more than a half a mile in Los Angeles without seeing a tent city.
And across the street will be some luxury high rise.
We're just like Brazil now.
Yes, yes, with the favelas.
I've been to Brazil.
There's the favelas, the shanty towns that are dangerous and fire traps.
And then next to a handful of rich people by the beach.
That's what Brazil, that's what's in America.
That's what we've got.
That's what's happening.
That's what you get when you vote Democrat.
And people don't realize that.
But that's what you get.
I'm back here with Graham Elwood, and we're talking about President Biden is quietly extending a policy that critics call a betrayal of his campaign promise to end mandatory minimum sentences.
The measure could land more low-level drug dealers in prison for longer and with less proof than is usually required.
I can't believe the guy who wrote the crime bill would do such a thing.
I can't believe it.
Biden could have taken the war on drugs down a notch, but he didn't.
A little notice law could make it easier to punish people for low-level drug crimes and put them in prison for longer with less proof.
And you know, Joe Biden wants you to be nice to his son who's a drug addict and should be in prison, but isn't because why?
Because his dad was the vice president and now his dad's the president.
So he gets to be, he gets to write a book about his drug addiction.
He gets to have pictures all over the internet about his drug addiction.
He gets to shame people who ridicule him for his drug addiction, but he doesn't have to go to prison for it.
But everybody else does.
Joe Biden's kid doesn't, but everybody else's kid has to go to prison.
And now do you know why I don't give a shit about Hunter Biden's drug addiction and I don't have sympathy for him?
Because they're self-dealers.
They don't give a shit about your drug addiction.
They want you to go to prison for it.
But not Hunter Biden.
But everybody else has to go to prison.
That's according to Joe Biden.
So fuck Hunter Biden and fuck Joe Biden and their addictions.
They should be in prison.
I mean, so he's ramping up the war on drugs.
That's what he's doing.
Joe Biden, you elected a guy ramping up the war on drugs.
Did you vote for Richard Nixon?
That's what it seems like we voted for, Richard fucking Nixon.
And let's be honest, Joe Biden's never seen a war he didn't like or want to ramp up.
I wrote the damn bill.
He wrote the 1994 crime bill, which gave us mass incarceration, more prisons, longer sentencing, escalated the war on drugs and targets African Americans.
And he's doing it again, you fucking chumps.
He's doing it again.
And the squad gives him an A. And the squad isn't corrupt if you use a definition that's not in the dictionary.
The squad's not corrupt if you use a definitions that's not a dictionary, which is convenient when you want to protect them.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer released sweeping draft legislation Wednesday to legalize weed, officially kickstarting a difficult debate in his chamber that also makes a major splash for one of his campaign promises.
Look at that.
And he's got those cool hip glasses, Daddy O. Jen Pizaki, Biden unmoved on marijuana legalization despite Schumer's legislation.
Ah, the horrifying moment when even Chuck Schumer is too progressive for Joe Biden.
Where's Bernie on this?
Silent, taking orders from the corporatist warmonger like he's fucking always has.
Where's your movement, Bernie?
Where's this movement?
Where is it?
Asked about the majority's leaders proposal.
I've done more without a movement than he has with it.
Where was your push for Medicare for all, Bernie?
I did one in December.
Where was yours?
You never did one.
Asked about the majority leader's proposal.
Zackie told reporters at her Wednesday press briefing that Biden's stance on marijuana legalization has not changed.
I have spoken in the past about the president's views on marijuana, Zaki told the White House press corps, adding, nothing has changed.
What if we slip some edibles in his ice cream?
How about that?
Hey, Joe Biden, the rich donors, nothing would fundamentally change if he's elected.
Joe Biden is like if heat exhaustion and a late fee made a person.
So now, Graham, I know you don't imbibe and you're sober, but what do you think about this recriminalization of the lowest level drug offenders?
And why do you think he's doing it?
Because he's a rich white guy.
I mean, this is pretty standard.
Rich white people, they're rich drug addicts, shithead, creep kids like Hunter Biden.
They get off the hook.
But anyone who, especially if you're a person of color, you get caught smoking a plant, you go to prison.
So it's just more.
And I'm sorry, this is the vote any blue will do crowd.
This is what you deserve.
This is what you get when you think that giving, I'm going to give this guy your vote no matter what.
This is what you get.
He promises to do all these things.
He's not.
And you're a sucker.
You're a sucker.
Once somebody shows you who they are, you listen to them.
Joe Biden wrote the 94 crime bill.
His vice president is a cop who protected pedophile priests when she was a district attorney in San Francisco, not to mention all the people of color she incarcerated as Attorney General.
This is who you elected.
This is who you were dancing in the streets for.
And of course, he's not going to do it.
This is what they're going to do.
They're going to just, they're going to be a half a click to the left of Trump and go, we did it.
You know, we do big change.
Hooray.
And it's unbelievable.
Because look, when you get money from the private prison industry, like Biden and all the corporate Democrats do, you have to keep this going.
You have to keep this gravy train.
And so what you do, you change.
And then like ICE, he gave more money to ICE.
And he changed the kids in cages to kids in facilities.
And dipshits are at brunch right now.
So they're not going to notice the difference.
You know what I mean?
Yes, I know what you mean.
You can't come to, you know, come to this country.
You know, Trump is evil during the campaign.
When she's elected, when she's in office, don't come here because this is all the same big corporations that fund these people are pushing all of this legislation that, and, you know, MSNBC is not going to get outraged about this.
Joyanne Reed, Anderson Cooper, none of these people are going to be screaming about this from the mountaintops because they're paid by the same corporations that fund the Democrats and the Republicans.
So it's all just a big thing.
It's all big theater and a big scam.
And Vote Any Blue Will Do suckers will eat these bags of shit every year and tell you that you're the problem.
So, okay, great.
How's that?
How's that shit sandwich with an organic bun and lettuce on it taste?
Good?
Better than the Trump shit sandwich?
Love it.
It's great.
The rage that I feel, Graham, for the people that we both know that we came up with in comedy that are just on purpose shitlibs because they're rich now.
Yeah.
Because they're rich, because they got a job writing for a late night talk show where they made a quarter million dollars a year for fucking 15 years.
And or they married someone who's rich and they don't give a fuck.
They've got everything.
They've never had to half their medicine.
They've never had to worry about going to a deductible for a doctor.
They've never ever had any of those worries.
And so that's why they want to vote for Joe Biden because they don't have any problems that they need Joe Biden to fix.
Yeah.
And Joe Biden's tweets are nice.
Yeah.
And Joe Biden doesn't make them, he doesn't make them look at how ugly America really is, like Donald Trump did.
So Donald Trump, you couldn't ignore how ugly America was.
But with Joe Biden, you can't ignore it because everyone's telling you a fantasy of what's actually happening.
Joe Biden is going to court to make sure immigrants stay in private prison.
He's going to court to make sure LGBTQ people stay discriminated against in private religious schools.
He's bombing Somalia.
He's bombing poor brown people right now.
He's a monster.
You voted for a monster because you got scared by a game show host.
Yeah.
And, you know, all Trump was was just the most vulgar version of a president that we've had in terms of he just showed you this is all the things we're doing.
We're going to keep the troops in Syria to guard the oil.
And I was like, oh, you can't say that.
You know what I mean?
That's what this is all about.
And Joe Biden, it's unbelievable how they learned.
Look, the people that really call the shots, they learned under Obama.
They're like, God, if we put a nice guy in there, a guy that's black and who says nice things, boy, we can get away with murder.
Murder.
So that's what they're doing.
And Trump kind of snuck in.
I didn't like Trump.
I'm glad he's not president because he did some crazy stuff.
But he kept saying stuff that they're like, don't say that.
He did it during the Republican primary in 2016.
You know, I mean, and he ran an anti-interventionist campaign.
Now the military industrial complex isn't going to let him do that.
But now we're, I'm done.
Like, oh, we got to get rid of Trump.
And because none of this, again, these rich Hollywood people that we know, they're not, their kids aren't getting snatched up.
Their kids aren't getting separated at the border because their kids go to Harvard Westlake, a private school in LA or whatever.
You know what I mean?
They're not like when their brakes squeak, they don't go, oh, God, what am I going to do?
You know, I just had Chris Mohan on my show, and he was telling me he's caught up in this car loan scam.
They said, oh, we'll cut your payments in half.
They did to him what they did to me and me losing my house 10 years ago.
Oh, because of COVID, you can cut your car loan in half.
But they've been charging him interest and they fucking repossessed his car.
And he's just, but can barely pay his bills.
And that's happening to millions of Americans.
And the foreclosure and eviction moratoriums are ending in 10 days and Americans are going to be out on the streets.
But, you know, you got a rich Hollywood six-figure gig.
You know what I mean?
You made a bunch of money for big corporations in Hollywood.
So you're good with this man.
And you can pat yourself on the back and say, oh, I'm not a racist because I didn't vote for Trump.
I voted for Joe Biden.
Oh, great.
Keep telling yourself that.
People who are literally against Medicare for all, like the former executive producer of The Simpsons, Dana Gould, who's against Medicare for All for people getting healthcare in the richest country in the world, thinks he's a good person because he voted for Joe Biden.
Yeah.
That's a fact.
And even though Joe Biden's worse for immigrants and is keeping kids in cages and it's worse for everything.
It's certainly worse for brown people and poor people around the world.
Okay.
Yeah.
So that's the rage.
So when I see that, that's, I get angry at the system that gives gives us this.
They got angry at Donald Trump.
Right.
No, this is, this is a system, you fucking morons.
And they like addicts.
America is a nation of drug of addicts in one form, actual addicts, or they're just addicted to this two-party system.
And rather than go like an addict or someone who grows up in an alcoholic or addicted home, they couldn't go, wow, the Democrats gave us Trump.
We should be mad at the Democratic Party.
Instead, they blamed all these.
That's what addicts do.
They're like, man, my boss had it in for me.
No, you showed up drunk for work five weeks in a row.
Like, you know what I mean?
You stole money from, no, man, the woman at the DMV screwed me over.
You didn't pay your renew your plate tags for a year and a half.
The woman at the DMV didn't screw you over.
That's how addicts have all these ridiculous excuses for everything.
And that's why the, you know, Dana Gould and people like that, who I used to respect comedically, are like okay with the war.
They're okay with people dying because we don't have health care because it doesn't affect them.
And they refuse to see this is the problem right there.
The corporations that run both of these parties and they don't want to see how awful the Democratic Party is.
They just, they just won't do it.
Hey, President Joe Biden's calling.
Hello.
Hey, man.
Happy National Ice Cream Day.
Folks.
What?
Will you shut up?
Read my lips, fat.
Happy National Ice Cream Day.
Question.
Do you like ice cream like I do?
The answer is yes.
Second question.
What's your favorite kind of ice cream, Joe?
Ask me that one.
Well, what's your favorite kind of ice cream, Joe?
The guy I like to slam it out of my forehead.
Don't hate it.
Just take that double-edged cone and press it hard in your forehead and see how long it sticks up there.
Like a fucking vanilla unicorn.
People must love that, Joe.
Not everybody.
Some guy on Twitter got on my case.
Hey, there's more photos of Joe Biden, the ice cream.
Then our campaign promises kept.
Stop it, man.
Totally untrue.
I haven't kept any campaign promises.
So there's no more than thing there, man.
It's understandable that people might ask about your campaign promises at this point, right?
Look, here's the thing.
Whether it's about my plans to build back better of my love of ice gleam, I get asked a lot of questions on the internet every day.
So for this week's conversation, I sat down to answer a few of these questions while constantly gritting my teeth.
He's squinting my eyes like I'm in some kind of weird pain.
What kind of questions, Joe?
Like defined infrastructure.
That's stuff like what builds back better roads, bridges, rail, bridges, rails, and roads.
And feed community college for students.
Free community college, but you campaign on no tuition community and for your colleges.
Ah, for the love of bacon, bitch.
Stop with the butts you campaigned on, Malarkey.
If we allow the poor in the four-year colleges, the next thing they'll want is to get some doodad doctorate.
Look at me, I got doctorates and I got them without even going to the fucking four-year place.
I have multiple degrees and graduated the top bottom half of the school in my head.
So use your imaginations, you goddamn Bolshevik.
I apologize, Joe.
What's the next question they asked?
The next question was this: Imagine the kind of fun the press pool must be having when they travel with POTUS.
They know there will be ice cream.
And here's my answer: that's not a question, asshole.
Why would you say that to a fan of yours?
I'm not going to let no punk talk to me like that.
I'm POTUS.
You better believe it.
They're having fun eating ice cream or they can get the hell off my planes.
All right.
Thanks, Joe.
Wait, man.
I want to make clear what I meant when I said Facebook is killing people.
Uh-huh.
What I meant was 12 people on Facebook were killing people, particularly with pictures of their lunch.
I hope Facebook will do more to fight the outrageous scourge of photos of people's lunches and other shit like that.
Photo of a little monkey playing with some baby ducks.
Because it's a lie, man.
Baby ducks and monkeys still live in the same places where they can just randomly get together and start touching each other.
I feel your pain.
And happy birthday, Benedict Cumberbunch, wherever you are.
Okay.
All right.
That was Joe Biden, our president.
I'm going to space.
You're on to talk today about, we're going to talk about Cuba and what's happening in Cuba.
So this is from Reuters.
Cuba sees the biggest protests for decades as the pandemic adds to woes, right?
Now, I just want to remind people: Black Lives Matter may be the largest movement in U.S. history.
That's just from last year, last June, right?
So look at that.
It's happening at this, look, just a year later, the biggest protests in Cuba, right?
Though some media outlets like Reuters say thousands of Cubans took to the streets.
The New York Times wrote about hundreds of Cubans.
Cuba's home to 11 million people.
And according to Medea Benjamin, the protests pale in comparison, both in terms of turnout and in state repression to mass mobilizations that have rocked Colombia, Haiti, Chile, Ecuador, and other Latin American countries over the past few years, all countries that have suffered under capitalism, or even Portland, Oregon, or Ferguson, Missouri.
So according to Medea Benjamin, these protests in Cuba pale to the stuff we've seen everywhere else, including Portland, Oregon, and Ferguson, Missouri.
And now the Miami mayor says the U.S. should consider airstrikes against Cuba because Cuba's not taking care of their people.
And if someone's not taking care of their people, first thing you should do is start blowing those people up.
And that's how you help them.
Here, let me just show you what he said on the TV and then we'll come to Max.
A repressive government and a cruel U.S. embargo.
They deserve policies that empower them and help them improve their lives.
Do you think that President Biden, looking at this situation, will lift that embargo?
And do you think that's what he should do?
No, I don't think the embargo is cruel at all.
And I think that the Cuban people are not asking for a lifting of the embargo.
They're going out in the streets every single day talking about the failure of the communist regime to provide for its people.
And I don't understand why that's so difficult for people to understand.
It has failed for six decades.
And what should be being contemplated right now is a coalition of potential military action in Cuba similar to what has happened in both administrations in both Republican and Democrat administrations.
In Republican with Bush in Panama, they deposed Noriega, and that country had peaceful democracy for decades.
And you had interventions by Democratic presidents, you know, taking out Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
It's a sovereign country where they took out a terrorist that probably saved thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of lives.
And President Clinton in Kosovo intervening in a humanitarian issue with airstrikes.
So there have been many, many opportunities in the history of the United States.
Are you suggesting airstrikes in Cuba?
What I'm suggesting is that that option is one that has to be explored and cannot be just simply discarded as an option that is not on the table.
And there's a variety of ways the military can do it, but that's something that needs to be discussed and needs to be looked at as a potential option in addition to a variety of other options that can be discussed.
So I don't know if you heard him, Max, but he said that the Cuban, I don't think the embargo is cruel at all.
That's what he said.
And then he said the Cuban people don't want to lift the embargo.
They want the U.S. military to airstrike them.
So I just want to let people know what's happening in the embargo.
The embargo severely restricts Cuba's access to water treatment chemicals and spare parts for the island's water supply system.
This has led to serious cutbacks in supplies of safe drinking water, which in turn is a factor in the rising incidence of mortality rates from waterborne diseases.
Plus, there is a lack of such basic medical supplies as replacement parts for 30-year-old x-ray machines.
As of April 2020, Cuba reported that the U.S. embargo continued to prevent the import of important medical supplies and equipment, as well as other essentials.
So I just go to Max.
Go, what would you like to say to that clown from Miami?
Well, that clown from Miami is actually speaking the language of the right-wing Cuban-American lobby, which has been backed with billions of dollars from the U.S. government to achieve regime change in Cuba and has failed against the will of the Cuban people.
He's expressing a language that's really common there.
I mean, you hear these calls for military attacks constantly.
And as the Netflix film, The WASP Network, actually showed based On a very real recreation of real events.
And Anya Parrampil for us at the Gray Zone interviewed one of the lead characters in this film, Rene Gonzalez, who is a Cuban intelligence agent who actually penetrated this network of Cuban-American terrorists.
The Cuban-American lobby in Miami has actually been actively, has actively carried out terrorist attacks against Cuba during the 1980s.
The Brothers in Arms network from the Cuban American National Foundation, founded by Jorge Mascanosa, who is like the mafia don of the regime change lobby, was attacking hotels, strafing Cubans on beaches to try to harm Cuba's tourist industry because the tourism industry is key to Cuba having cash and being able to keep its revolution going.
So you're looking at people who actually want to destroy a country that they were basically ejected from or voluntarily left because they don't like its socialist system.
They were maybe their families were affiliated with the right-wing U.S.-backed dictator Fulgencio Batista.
And they want to harm average Cubans.
They are open about it.
They would love for the U.S. to bomb the crap out of Cuba so they could come back in and come to power.
And before we really get into the details about the protests, I have an investigation coming out about it this weekend about the U.S. role in it.
Let me just say, first of all, I've been to Cuba.
I actually got to spend several weeks there during one of the worst periods for Cubans during the special period in the year 2000.
It was after the Soviet Union had collapsed.
So Cuba was completely cut off from the world economy by the U.S. embargo.
The Helms-Burton Act, which punishes any foreign bank that wants to do business with Cuba, any foreign company that wants to do business with Cuba, had come into effect.
And things were desperate.
And I saw desperation there.
I also saw a level of social protection and a social safety net for Cubans that I didn't see for people in places like Mexico or Central America that I visited.
You'll never see that in Haiti.
You will not see it in the Dominican Republic.
These are places that function sort of as neo-colonies for U.S. interests.
So Cuba managed to hold on during that extremely harsh period.
And then it experienced kind of a rebound with the rise of the Hugo Chavez's Venezuela with fuel subsidies coming in from Venezuela.
There was this new economic south to south ALBA system that kind of replaces the World Bank and the IMF and helps countries barter with each other.
And so Cuba was starting to do better.
And now the economic war has really returned with the vengeance.
Cuba is experiencing more economic hardship than it has since I visited over 20 years ago.
And in the past weeks, there were scheduled repairs at an electric electricity plant in Cuba, which necessitated rationing of electricity.
And then another plant went down at the same time.
And so Cubans were experiencing blackouts.
Food is being rationed.
There's a syringe shortage because of the U.S. blockade, which makes it harder to vaccinate people, even though Cuba is the only Latin American country to come up with its own vaccine.
They have two vaccines that actually work and they're beginning to vaccinate their population around COVID.
But there was genuine desperation among the public.
And this lobby came in through a kind of classic color revolution style operation and sought to exploit it and get people out in the streets.
Whether they could get 300 people out in the streets or several thousand, it didn't matter as long as they had the image of people protesting in a country that rarely sees protests and rarely has the same kind of desperation that you see in a place like Haiti.
And they did that on July 11th.
But the goal wasn't necessarily to cause regime change in Cuba, although that's the ultimate goal.
The goal was to cause Biden and Washington to come under pressure to not go back to the Obama period of dialogue with Cuba and normalization and to keep the Trump sanctions in place.
And it appears they've already succeeded there.
And so when you hear someone call for bombing or anything extra, they don't think they're actually going to get that from Biden.
Bob Menendez, the Cuban-American senator, one of the most corrupt senators in recent history, who's a Democrat, chair of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Senate, he said there's not going to be a military intervention.
So the point of these characters, these Republicans in Florida, is to actually keep pushing and keep pushing while they're achieving their actual goal, which is to prevent Biden from relieving the 230 new sanctions and economic warfare measures imposed by Trump.
Biden's already said he won't restore remittances.
It's preventing Cubans from sending money to their family members.
And this is costing Cuba billions of dollars a year.
So people are dying anyway as a result of this.
So the interesting thing is that they say, oh, you know, socialism doesn't work.
Well, then why sanction it?
Why not just let it collapse?
And so this guy makes a great point.
He says, fun game.
If someone tells you that the embargo isn't the reason for conditions in Cuba, ask them what the purpose of the embargo is.
That's the whole point of an embargo, is to screw up their economy and hurt them.
And it's working.
By the way, here's a poll in 2020.
Cuban poll, how Cuban Americans in Miami view U.S. policies towards Cuba.
So a majority of the community supports the temporary suspension of trade sanctions on Cuba during this.
So people don't want us to keep sanctioning Cuba.
Again, this is we it does.
It doesn't, we live in a rapacious oligarchy.
It doesn't matter what the will of the people is at all.
This idea that Trump stole our democracy is laughable.
Your democracy was stolen decades ago.
And they're doing this not in the interest of you, the voter.
They're doing this in the interest of corporations and moneyed players in politics, donors.
So let me keep going.
If you want to claim that Cuba's failures are due to socialism and not sanctions, then let's test the theory.
Remove sanctions from the equation and see what happens.
If things don't change, then you can rub it in their noses.
What do you have to lose?
Keep moving on.
Here it says they love to come up with these reasons why we have to have intervention.
And the U.S. Cubans have the right to protect their government.
Ignore 60-year embargo, please, right?
Also, the USA, teen who allegedly crumpled up back in blue sign charged with a hate crime.
So what they're pointing out here is that the United States backs protesters in Cuba, just not in the United States.
We back protesters in Cuba, but in the United States, we like to block those people up.
That's the point there.
And let me just remind people how effed up the United States is when it comes to dealing with Cuba and how effed up the intelligence agency is and what they're willing to do to try to take down Cuba, right?
So this is from Miami New Times.
It says CIA considered bombing Miami and killing refugees to blame Castro.
Wow.
In 2,800 papers released from the nation archives includes new documents confirming details of America's decades-long quest to kill or depose Fidel Castro, including a fairly shocking plan by the CIA to sow terror in Miami.
After Castro's revolution succeeded and thousands of Cubans fled to South Florida, the CIA intelligence agency actually considered murdering a boatload of refugees, assassinating exile leaders, and planting bombs in Miami.
Also, Castro could be blamed for the chaos.
So now do you understand why people don't trust the government whenever they say, and they shouldn't?
The basic idea was to turn world opinion against Castro and justify a U.S. military invasion by pinning the atrocities on him.
The details of this sinister plot are part of Operation Mongoose.
That's a 1960 covert op hatched by the CIA with the aim of toppling communist Cuba.
The paper sent by General Edward Lansdale, a top Cold War officer who worked with the CIA to plot out Operation Mongoose.
He sent the report to General Maxwell Taylor, who became chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
And here is part of it.
We could develop a communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities, and even in Washington.
The terror campaign could be pointed at, could be pointed at Cuban refugees seeking haven in the United States.
We could sink a boatload of Cubans en route to Florida.
We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States, even to the extent of wounding an instance to be widely publicized, exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots.
The arrest of Cuban agent and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.
That's from the National Archives.
So just to reiterate how crazy this idea is, the CAA thought about blowing stuff up in Florida and murdering, if innocent refugees, simply to make Castro look bad.
Let me just say crazy is a nice word for what they're doing.
The Operation Mongoose documents include other frightening plots hatched by the spooks in Washington, including an idea to use biological weapons to ruin Cubans' crops, possibly leading to famine and an uprising against Castro.
You know, totally reasonable things to do.
This is just another day at the office.
This is totally reasonable.
And here it is.
This is from the National Archives.
It says, he mentioned specifically the possibility of producing crop failures by the introduction of biological agents, which would appear to be of natural origin.
Mr. Bundy said that he had no worries about any such sabotage, which could clearly be made to appear as the result of local Cuban disaffection or of natural disaster, but that we must avoid external activities such as the release of chemicals, et cetera, unless they could be completely covered up.
And Glenn Greenwald waited in.
He said many of the right on the right spent the last five years arguing correctly that the CIA and the rest of their intelligence community are pernicious liars, authoritarians, and tyrants.
But now, what should we should be released to bring benevolent freedom and democracy to the Cuban people?
Wow, what should bombs should be released?
John Ceifer says, what's wrong with you?
This is a response to Glenn.
What's wrong with you?
Do you truly believe that a large organization of educated and diverse Americans are tyrants and support authoritarians?
This is simply stupid and actually helps real tyrants.
Oh, boy.
So his next tweet, here's where it is.
Here's the gold.
His next tweet, he says, the CIA is a government bureaucracy that supports U.S. foreign policy.
If the CIA are tyrants, so is the rest of the government.
And in both Democratic and Republican administrations, simply asidine.
Who is that guy?
He's a former CIA guy.
And Glenn says this former CIA agent, beloved by liberals, worked through some of the cognitive dissonance raised by my arguments about the CIA and stumbled onto the truth in his second tweet.
Not bad.
Congrats.
Glad I could be of help.
Few things are as gratifying as teaching.
So let me bring Max in.
Any do you have any response to any of those things I just showed?
Well, John Seifert, you know, who constantly makes a fool of himself on Twitter, said he didn't.
Someone brought up Fred Hampton being killed by the FBI and he said, who the hell is Fred Hampton?
Like, I've never heard of him.
He's always, he said, like, can you give me something in the last 30 years that happened that the CIA did?
So basically, it would be easy to do that.
I gave him Operation Timber Sycamore, where the CIA spent 113 of its budget on arming Syrian death squads.
But I also reported on, you know, what the CIA did to Julian Assange through its assets in the embassy, spying on even U.S. journalists.
But the history of terror in Cuba, CIA terror in Cuba is disgusting.
I mean, and it continues today.
But what you mentioned with Operation Northwoods, it was signed off on by the U.S. government, by the joint chiefs of staff of the Pentagon.
JFK, like reluctant, he had to call it off at the last second.
This would have been an attack on U.S. citizens.
Then you have 1976, the bombing of Kubana Flight 455 by Luis Posada Carriles, a CIA agent, killing dozens, I mean, scores of Cubans, civilians.
They killed the, I think, the whole North Korean Olympic fencing team went down in the flight.
Posada Carriles bragged, we put the bombs.
Him and his accomplice, Orlando Bosch, were ultimately brought to Miami and Miami inaugurated Orlando Bosch Day when Jeb Bush was the governor of Florida.
I mean, honoring terrorists.
Posada Carriles died a free man.
You have Felix Rodriguez, a CIA agent, decorated CIA agent who participated in the Bay of Pigs, captured Che Guevara, presided over his killing, then went on to work with Ali North in the covert operations that saw money from narco cartels financing the death squads across Central America.
Felix Rodriguez was even a participant in the torture and killing of a DEA agent, a drug enforcement agency agent named Kiki Camarena, who was Captured by the Guadalajara cartel in Mexico and tortured to death.
And Rodriguez was there to make sure he was killed and tortured.
He taped the torture.
This was all on behalf of Ali North and the U.S. government, and it was to make sure that the drug money from the Guadalajara cartel continued to be financing the Contras in Central America.
Then you have biowarfare by the CIA against Cuba.
In 1971, Newsweek revealed that a virus from a U.S. military base had been sent by fishing boats into Cuba.
The next year, swine fever was introduced by CIA agents, the African swine fever, to Cuba, killing half a million pigs, forcing Cuba to basically wipe out its entire pig population, which led to hunger and massive food rationing.
I mean, this is well-documented stuff.
A biological warfare against Cuban poultry production was introduced years later by the CIA.
The CIA has introduced hemorrhagic conjunctivitis and dengue fever into Cuba, killing possibly hundreds of people, diseases to kill Cuba's sugar crop.
A leader of a Cuban terrorist group in 1984 called Omega 7 admitted in a U.S. court that he participated in U.S. biowarfare against Cuba.
And, you know, it continues today in softer form, and we can go into it.
But John Cipher acts as if he's completely innocent.
This is the agency that he chose to join.
He chose to be a part of this agency, which was basically the worst terrorist group in the world, operating with a black budget outside the purview of any democratic accountability in the U.S. They really are terrorists.
I just want to show you his.
So this is his Twitter bio.
It says former CIA clandestine service, now Spycraft Entertainment, at Atlantic Council, sometimes writes, good father, decent husband, and excellent dog owner.
Whenever I see good father, decent husband, I always think child molester.
Do you think that?
Because that's what I think.
I don't know, but whenever someone, when you have to fucking feel like you have to virtue signal like that, that guy, there's some nefarious shit going on in that guy's.
He's probably got a cellar full of dead bodies.
These are all speculations.
But someone who calls themselves a good father and a decent husband and an excellent dog owner.
By the way, it's supposed to be Dog Guardian, not a dog owner.
Go ahead, Max.
You got anything to say?
Yeah, I just think like murderous former CIA agent who like maybe is nice to his kids at home while he goes out and presides over programs that kill thousands and thousands of kids abroad, pretends like his hands are clean.
I mean, he's asserting that his hands are clean by saying good father.
That's a form of compartmentalization that so many war criminals do.
The psychologist Robert J. Lifton wrote a book, like a thousand-page book, based on interviews with former Nazi doctors who did live human experimentation about the psychological process that he called doubling that they underwent so that they could come home to their families at night and be good parents after slicing the heads of like vivisecting Jewish children who had been provided to them from concentration camps open.
So I think we see a similar dynamic at play.
I don't know what John Cipher did.
I think he was probably like a desk jockey or something who's puffing his chest out and trying to be a badass in the Russia Gate era.
But that phenomenon, that psychological phenomenon is really familiar.
Yeah, so that's what the, so that's what this is when he does the good.
That's like Tony Soprano giving a shit about the ducks that come to his pool.
Remember?
Remember that?
He liked a duck.
So that's what, or when Sony Soprano likes a dog, he's kind to a duck.
So that's what that is, right?
That's kind of compartmentalization.
Good father, decent husband, excellent dog owner.
Jesus H. Mother effing Christ.
Look at that guy.
That guy, you know, he looks like he looks like Jerry Sundusky.
That's who he looks like.
He looks like Jerry Sundusky.
I'm just telling you, that's what the guy looks like.
He looks exactly like him.
He's like his doppelganger.
And you know who Jerry Sundusky is.
Oh, by the way, let's talk a little bit more about, hey, the CIA, they're good people.
CIA is running death squads in Afghanistan.
That's from the nation.
Hey, the CIA documents show Bush knew of 2002 coup in Venezuela.
Hey, fantastic.
Hey, CIA admits involvement in Chile.
Hey, how about this?
How about CIA arms, the Syrian rebels, supplies black market?
Huh?
How about that?
What?
What's that?
Go ahead.
You want to say something?
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
I got more.
Leaked satellite images from Cuba shows an intermittent an intermediate.
Wait a minute.
Shows an intermediate camp where horrendous human rights violations took place for decades, particularly prisoners of Muslim background, located next to their Guantanamo Bay.
Oh, wait.
That's not their torture facility.
That's the United States torture facility.
Isn't that something?
The Cuban government sends doctors abroad.
They are currently operating in 65 countries around the world.
The U.S. government sends soldiers abroad.
They are currently occupying around 70 countries.
Who's the real threat to world peace again?
So go ahead, jump in, Max.
What would you like to say?
Yeah, I mean, I was talking about Luis Posada Carriles, CIA agent.
I mean, and I mentioned these terrorist bombings in Cuba in 1997.
All of these attacks on Cubans, Cuban beaches, Cuban hotels.
Luis Posada Carriles presided over that.
He was the organizer.
These are CIA terrorist attacks in the last 30 years, John Cipher.
I mean, how do you not know about this?
And this is the agency he chose to join.
And then you mentioned the Cuba exportation of doctors.
First of all, it's important to recognize prior to the Cuban Revolution, there were no medical clinics in the Cuban countryside.
Fidel Castro and his men, they came in on a boat called the Grandma, which was a boat they bought in Miami from some retiree, and it was like named after his grandma.
So they called it the grandma.
And they were like 50 guys.
They rode into the Sierra Maestra, which is the poorest, most neglected area where people had nothing in the Oriente, in the east of Cuba.
They were up in the hills, and the people welcomed them because they had no schools, no roads, no running water, no medical clinics.
And now you see Cuba is filled with doctors.
Who are those doctors?
Those are the people that come from the Sierra Maestra.
Those are people that come from the urban poor.
Those are people who previously, whose families had absolutely nothing and lived in misery huts and who now have at least homes.
And they did this all under U.S. blockade, training this population.
It's also notable that a lot of people from the inner city in the U.S. who can't afford educations here have gone to Cuba to go to film school for free or to get medical training, art school for free.
It's remarkable What kind of human accomplishments we've seen.
The United States Agency for International Development, which coordinates closely with the CIA, is now run by Samantha Power, who presided over the destruction of the state of Libya and was a huge advocate of the death squad operations in Syria while pretending to be a human rights advocate.
The USAID has a program to undermine Cuba's program of sending doctors to neglected areas across the global south, particularly in Latin America.
And as part of that program, they also try to recruit the doctors, entice them with payments to become U.S. informants and to go to the media and denounce Cuba.
If you ever see stories about like Cuba's involved in human trafficking with these doctors, it's because USAID has paid off the sources of those stories who will go to people like Nick Casey at the New York Times who did a piece about that.
So the U.S. is actually trying to undermine Cuba's ability to save lives inside Cuba and across Latin America.
And in Bolsonaro's Brazil, they kicked out the Cuban doctors because they had elected a right-winger, a supporter of the Brazilian military junta, and the U.S. government says kick them out.
And then they start begging for them to come back because they can't provide medical services of their own in the Amazon region when the pandemic hit.
They started begging for the Cuba.
Where are the Cuban doctors?
They were keeping people alive.
So people started dying.
Same thing happened in Bolivia under the coup government of Janine Añez, the U.S.-backed coup government that lasted for like a year before it was voted out in a landslide.
They kicked out the Cuban doctors, and they had one of the worst performances on COVID in the globe.
So the U.S., by terrorizing Cuba, is actually harming the poorest people across the region.
And yet, Cuba continues to produce doctors and provide its population with an education that's unparalleled even in the United States.
Yeah, big deal.
Big deal.
So they get doctors to people, and we don't.
So what do we give?
We give bombs.
We give bombs to people.
It took China starting to manufacture its own Sino-Vac COVID-19 vaccine and then pledging to donate millions and millions across the global south for the U.S. to finally stop hoarding and start getting off its ass and donating through the COVAX program.
But what does the U.S. do?
Venezuela, which is another social country with a socialist government, had paid 95% of what it owed to the COVAX program to get vaccines.
And the U.S. blocked the bank from being able to receive that payment and block Venezuela from receiving the vaccines.
So when we talk about bio warfare, when we talk about the CIA importing diseases, what the U.S. is doing is another form of kind of biowarfare where it's just depriving people of the basics so that they simply die in this vain fantasy that they will rise up and topple the evil dictator.
And that's the fantasy that the Biden administration is engaged in right now.
They actually believe that a few hundred people who went out and protested, who are from the ranks of the most desperate, marginalized people in Cuba, are actually capable of ending the Cuban Revolution.
And that's why they're not going to engage in a dialogue with Cuba.
They're totally delusional.
And there's really no difference between them on this issue and the Trump administration, except Tony Blinken has lower body mass index than Mike Pompeo.
Yeah, it's amazing that, again, people still think we care about the people of Cuba.
They can't, or Venezuela, or Chile, or Afghanistan, or Syria, or Libya, or Iraq.
Again, this is just, this is the same old story over and over and over again.
This is confessions of an economic hitman.
Go read it.
This is what's happening.
This is the United States are the terrorists, and we kill, maim, starve, poison, and disease people at the behest of corporations for profit.
And we can't be allowed to have a successful socialist nation in Central or South America because then people in the United States would see that it actually works.
So anytime there's one that has a chance of being successful, the United States does everything it can to undermine it, like Max has been just laying out here.
And again, these aren't secrets.
They're just secrets to the United States people because it doesn't get reported by people like Rachel Maddow or fake tough guy Chris Cuomo.
It just doesn't get reported.
And that's why you have to come to this show and then Google will suppress us and then kick us off YouTube.
And so that's the world we're living in.
That's the world we're living in right now.
I have another story coming up I'm going to cover about the United States government is bragging that they tell Facebook who to censor when and how.
And they do it.
That's called fascism.
I don't know if you don't know that, but when the government tells somebody to censor somebody and they do it, that's called fascism.
We knew they were doing it.
We knew they were doing it all along.
I mean, we saw all the front groups through the Atlantic Council that were advising Facebook.
Now Jen Sackey comes out and says it, that we're telling people, we're telling Facebook who to kick off for quote-unquote misinformation, which is basically anything they don't like.
Anything they don't want you to like.
Just anything anything one wing of our dominant wing of our ruling class doesn't like.
And then she said that anyone who gets kicked off Facebook for misinformation should be removed from all platforms, all social media platforms.
And it's really ironic.
I mean, back to the topic of Cuba, the day after Marco Rubio demanded that the U.S. military, through its base, its illegal base in Guantanamo in Cuba, fly internet cables over Cuba and project internet to the Cuban population through balloons in military fashion so that the regime change operation can continue.
So the U.S. actually wants an expansion of internet in countries where it seeks regime change, implicitly admitting what we've always known, that the internet is a weapon that the U.S. uses abroad.
And then at home, it's seeking to restrict internet and provide unfettered access only to people who agree with and promote the opinions of our discredited, decaying imperial elite.
100%.
I hope people are hip to what's happening in Cuba now and that Joe Biden is no different.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, and they're all imperialist, rapacious oligarchs who use misery for corporate profit.
And don't believe them and don't listen to them.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy is Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia.
How are you doing?
I'm doing great, Senator.
What are you up to?
Oh, heck now, Jimmy.
Every time we talk, it's all about me and what I'm doing.
Quite frankly, that topic just bores me to death, old me and my doings.
I want to know what you're up to, Jimmy.
Give me a low down.
Well, okay, I'm actually heading to Texas soon.
You're kidding me.
I'm not kidding.
What are you up to down in Texas?
Well, Senator, I'm going to be doing a guest appearance on a big podcast, and then I'm actually doing a live stand-up show at the Creek in the Cave in Austin.
Well, I'm heading down to Houston today to talk to some nice folks who've decided to throw me a fundraiser.
Ain't that nice?
Can you believe it?
Just little old me.
A fundraiser for what?
My senatorial campaign.
Well, when are you up for re-election?
2024.
But you can also donate to my pack.
Country Roads PAC.
That's my pack.
You're campaigning in Texas for your 2024 West Virginia Senate bid?
Well, I don't really like to see this as campaigning per se.
But if any of these fine folks wish to contribute, it's legal.
Who's hosting this fundraiser?
Oh, just the nicest folks, Jimmy.
We're going to have a little powwow over there in River Oaks.
One of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the United States.
