Get ready for an outstanding entertainment program.
The Jimmy Dore Show.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy, this is Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
Well, hello, Senator.
May I ask why you're calling?
Well, you know, I got a whole lot of folks outside my office door right now who really want to talk to me.
So I figured this would be as good a time as any to call up a complete stranger and strike up a conversation.
Yeah, yeah.
I understand you recently met with some civil rights leaders.
Yes, that was also a conversation.
We had a conversation.
A conversation?
Yeah, me and the civil rights people had a dialogue.
We started a dialogue.
Did they change your mind about literally anything?
Well, no, but the dialogue was good, and it'll be ongoing.
Okay, I see.
I mean, I don't think anyone went into that meeting, that dialogue, with any expectation that either side was going to change their actual position.
I wasn't going to change my vote anymore.
Now we're going to stop thinking that black people should be enfranchised.
So voter suppression in a democracy just isn't a big concern for you, Senator.
No big deal.
Well, now, now, hold your horses.
Of course it is.
Our right to vote is a sacred part of this nation.
When I was Secretary of State for the state of West Virginia State, I protected voting stuff and stuff like that.
But we need to protect our voting laws in a bipartisan manner.
Okay.
Why?
Because it just looks bad if we don't.
It looks like we're steamrolling the other side of the aisle.
Yeah, you're going to need to do that to get anything that even smacks of progressive legislation through you.
You have to do that.
Well, now hold your horses.
I just think I disagree there, Jimmy.
What does it tell you that zero Republican senators support this legislation?
What does it tell me?
It tells me that the Republican Party is well aware that the changing demographics in this country mean that unless they suppress the black and brown vote, they will cease to be a major political party.
So that's exactly what these state voting laws are designed to do.
Right.
Okay.
Well, now let me ask you a question.
Okay, go ahead.
If you were a senator like me and you, hold your horses.
You were committed to working with the other side of the aisle, wouldn't you also be committed to making sure that there was another side of the aisle to even begin with?
Yeah, I don't follow what you're saying.
Well, I'm saying you can't work with the Republicans if there ain't no Republicans.
Yeah, so your concern here is literally preserving the Republican Party, a party which you are not a member of.
Exactly, Mundo.
For democracy, for the Republic.
And to do that, you are tacitly accepting these new Jim Crow laws that are targeting black people for voter suppression.
Well, now, hold your horse.
We're not looking at it like that.
I'm saying that I can only move forward to preserve voting rights with my colleagues across the aisle.
And I can only do that with them there.
If these state voting laws get shot down, we're going to see a whole slew of new Democratic senators and Republicans will be reduced to a voiceless minority.
And we can't have that in a democracy.
Okay, okay, Senator.
Hold your horses.
You can't say that.
Only I got to say that.
You have horses here.
I don't have horses.
Or at least I got mine under control.
They've been broke in.
Fine, do you honestly think that people aren't going to detect your tacit support of racist regressive policies?
Well, I met with those civil rights folks, didn't I?
How the hell you, what the hell do you think that was about?
I'm trying to cut this racism thing off of the past.
You think I want to sit around and jaw with L Shortman all day?
That fellow takes about 10 minutes to say one sentence.
Senator, I think you're very naive to think we're not seeing how cynical that is.
Well, I'm just the son of a carpet salesman from Farmers in West Virginia.
This ain't the first time that some city slicker like yourself has called me naive.
And hell, maybe I am naive.
Just naive enough to know that sometimes you got to make the tough call and do what's right, even in this crazy place called Washington, D.C. I got to say, Senator, your act is priceless.
I almost have to hand it to you.
Well, thank you.
I'm glad you and I have started a dialogue.
And I know we ain't going to change each other's minds necessarily, but I hope you're satisfied with it so far.
No, I'm not satisfied with it at all, in fact.
Well, why the hell not?
We got a brand new character for the show.
Came ready-made with a catchphrase and everything.
Next time, Jim Earl will ride it and make it funnier.
Okay, sounds good, Senator.
Until then, hold your horse.
Yeah, shut your mouth, boy.
Establishment media sets of artists fighting.
Oh, good luck.
Bullshit we can't afford.
Why is fomenting this?
Oh, watch and see as it's jacked off.
The median speeds and jumps the medium and hits them head on.
It's the Chimmy Tor Show.
music Hey, ladies and gentlemen, I don't know if you remember Joe Biden once was quoted as saying he didn't want his kids to grow up in a racial jungle, meaning he didn't want his kids having to mix with black and brown kids.
That's why he was against busing.
That's what Joe Biden said.
I didn't say that.
Joe Biden said that.
He said he wanted his kids growing up in a racial jungle.
And then a few years later, he wrote the crime bill, which he said criminal gives you the death penalty for everything except jaywalking.
And now our prisons are full with black and brown people.
So you tell me who's the racist.
I'm going to say it's Joe Biden.
He's always been.
And it slips out sometimes.
Like sometimes he says stuff like this.
We have this notion that somehow if you're poor, you cannot do it.
Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.
So that's the kind of stuff he says.
Whoopsie-daisy.
Poor kids are just as talented as white kids.
So you could see how he could make a statement like, I don't want my kids growing up in a racial jungle.
You can see that this is the guy, right?
And so he did it again.
So here's Joe Biden talking about how black businesses can close the racial gap.
Here we go.
The data shows young black entrepreneurs are just as capable of succeeding and given the chance as white entrepreneurs are.
But they don't have lawyers.
They don't have accountants.
But they have great.
Oh, is that it?
What is the guy's last boss, president, my boss, Barack Obama, was a lawyer.
And the president of the United States.
I think they have lawyers.
In fact, Eric Holder, head of the Justice Department, another lawyer.
Those are just two off the top of my head in the former administration.
They don't have them.
What is he saying?
Wow.
No black people have any resources.
I see nothing wrong with this statement.
Black people don't have any resources.
They don't have accountants.
They don't have running water.
They don't have toilets.
They're shitting in the street.
We got to help these people.
They got to listen to music.
Put on the radio so they can hear words.
Black people don't know words.
Remember what he was saying that?
This is amazing.
Black people have ideas, but they don't have accountants.
They don't have lawyers.
I'm going to give loans to black people.
Is that what he's saying?
Is that what he's trying to say?
Is that what he's trying to make?
Want to hear it again?
I want to hear it again.
The data shows young black entrepreneurs are just as capable of succeeding and given the chance as white entrepreneurs are.
But they don't have lawyers.
They don't have, they don't have accountants.
Joe Biden is so tone deaf, he's banned from every karaoke bar in Washington, D.C. Black business owners don't have accountants and attorneys.
Is that Ice Cube or Ice?
That's Ice Cube, isn't it?
Yes.
I know that there's been Ice Cube and Ice T. I sure do.
Ice T was on that NBC show, right?
What show is Ice Cube on?
He's got to be on a show, right?
Is he on a show?
No?
Are we there?
Is that a show?
Oh, okay.
Somebody responding to Joe Biden.
I get an accountant and a lawyer just for being white.
Man, my parents dropped the ball telling me about that.
Anyone serious about addressing wealth gaps would eliminate student debt, institute universal health care, and raise the minimum wage to $23 an hour.
Anyone who doesn't support these actions works for Wall Street and the big corporations and not the people.
You care about black peoples and the wealth gap.
That's what you would be doing.
You'd be giving everybody universal health care.
You'd be giving everybody a living wage if you cared, but he doesn't.
Wow.
Old habits die hard, I guess.
Joe Biden says poor kids are just as bright as talented as white kids.
There it is.
There it is.
The former vice president campaign said he misspoke and immediately corrected himself during remarks about leveling the play field for low-income students.
Let's watch it again.
We have this notion that somehow if you're poor, you cannot do it.
Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.
You can't say he didn't show you who he was when he was campaigning.
He certainly showed you who he was.
And then he went on to tell black people play the radio for your kid at night so they learn words.
I wish I had that in there.
That's hilarious.
The record player.
Play the record play.
Play the record player.
Not the radio.
He told people to play the record player.
He told people to play the record player and sit around the radio at night, listen to the president.
So you remember when Kamala Harris would say things like this?
She would say things like this.
Our supposed leaders in Washington need to stop attacking immigrants and instead make clear that America is a place where immigrants and refugees are welcome and contribute to our society.
So that was then.
And now she has power.
And now this is what she says when she has power.
I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border.
Do not come.
Do not come.
The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our border.
There are legal methods by which migration can and should occur.
But we, as one of our priorities, will discourage illegal migration.
And I believe if you come to our border, you will be turned back.
So let's discourage our friends, our neighbors, our family members from embarking on what is otherwise an extremely dangerous journey.
That should be a United States official slogan.
The United States, don't come.
That should be.
You'll be turned away.
Boy, that is the weirdest brochure for America I've ever seen.
Things Kamala Harris would be really bad at, hospitality, tourism, running a nightclub, having any semblance of empathy, or being consistent with her old positions.
That's amazing.
That's amazing.
Here we are.
You are welcome and contribute to our society.
Don't come.
I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border.
Do not come.
Yeah.
Hey, sorry.
Sorry about the fact that we wrecked your country with a bullshit drug war.
And sorry about the desperate situation the United States put you in that made you even want to come here, but don't come.
So there she was being cold, defensive, unwelcoming.
At least her demeanor matches the United States perfectly.
It's true.
So Molly says, oh, okay, thousands of Central Americans still having the same amount of violence inflicted on them, thanks in large part to America's actions.
Okay, so they just don't come.
Just stay there.
You think they're coming here because they hurt our health care system so great?
What?
The School of Americas, the Contras, the drug cartels funded by the United States, the United Fruit Company, the CIA coup against Allende's, the CIA coup in Bolivia, the Bay of Pigs, the CIA coup against Venezuela.
This is what we're responsible.
This is why people are desperate.
Not to mention what we did everywhere, a Haiti.
I mean, come on.
The Honduran coup aided by Hillary Clinton.
So here, I like this.
Kids in Cages, she was all upset.
Migrant facility for children.
There you go.
There you go.
We just renamed it.
Remember it was Kids in Cages?
Do you remember the executive producer for The Simpsons was tweeting about kids in cages and how Jimmy Doer's a bad person because I won't vote for Joe Biden because of kids in cages?
Well, the kids are still in cages.
Has the executive producer of The Simpsons, does he give a shit about the kids in cages?
Dana Gould, the executive producer of The Simpsons, does he give a shit about these kids?
He hasn't tweeted about it.
He tweeted about it before the election, but now the election's over.
He doesn't give a fuck.
Isn't that interesting?
Because he's not going to try to criticize Joe Biden and be looked down upon in his shit-lib circles.
That's what that is.
And that's what this is.
Seeking asylum is a human right and legal.
Full stop.
That's what she said in June 8th, 2021.
No, no, no.
That's what she's saying.
That's true.
That's Sema Hernandez.
Seeking asylum is a human right and legal.
Full stop.
Very well said.
That's correct.
Isn't it funny how Kamala Harris sounds just like Marjorie Taylor Greene on the issue of immigration, Israel, and criminal justice?
That's from Nick is a Fred Hampton leftist, which I was on their show.
It was fantastic.
Yeah, I love their show.
Yeah.
Almost as if Kamala Harris is a cop.
You want to hear her be a cop?
Here we go.
So I decided I was going to start prosecuting parents for truancy.
Well, this was a little controversial in San Francisco.
Isn't it funny?
She's going to terrorize the most vulnerable people in our society, the poor, with kids going to public school.
And that's how funny she thinks it is.
It's going to terrorize the most vulnerable people.
How Kamala Harris fought to keep nonviolent prisoners locked up.
As California Attorney General, she spent years subverting a 2011 Supreme Court ruling requiring the state to reduce its prison population.
The overseeing judicial panel nearly found the state in contempt of court.
The reason why she wouldn't release prisoners was because she said it would upset their prison labor system.
They had overcrowding in the California prison system.
She's the attorney general.
The court orders them to release prisoners.
They don't do it.
Kamala Harris's office argues the reason why we're not going to follow the court order and release prisoners from our overcrowded prisons is because it would upset the prison labor system in California.
Slave labor, that's her office doing that.
That's who Kamala Harris is, just so you know.
When people have political capital, they could use it for a living wage or for health care.
Kamala Harris used her political capital to throw parents in jail.
Poor parents.
Rich people don't go to jail for truancy.
Poor people.
That's what she used her power.
It tells you everything you need to know about who she is.
And here she is.
Oh, she's got that move.
She's got the moves.
She really cares.
She's marching them into prison.
Yeah.
Is that Bill Clinton behind her?
I hope not.
I don't think he moves that fast.
There's no way Bill Clinton would be standing behind her.
So there you go.
I thought Kamala Harris.
So that's what they call.
That's not really horseshoe theory.
She's just a right-winger.
She pretends to be left.
But Joe Biden's a right-winger.
Kamala Harris is a right-winger.
These people are right-wingers.
They're not left.
And if you want to be a right-winger, that's fine.
I want to be able to see you coming.
I like my right-wingers to be called Republicans.
So then I can have an honest conversation with them.
I hate when right-wingers are Democrats because they're all liars then.
You're all duplicitous, fucking gaslighting liars, phonies, hypocrites.
If you're a right-winger, just go be a Republican and tell everybody you are.
Anything you'd like to add to that, Ron?
Well, it's really interesting to me.
I mean, the reason Trump broke so many people's brains is because he had no subtlety whatsoever when he would talk.
And where's the subtlety here?
I mean, she's just getting up there saying, don't come.
Don't come.
I mean, and, you know, again, let's be honest.
If Donald Trump made that same speech, it would have went viral multiple times.
Oh, my God.
There'd be an outrage news cycle going on right now over it.
Everybody would be talking about it.
Everybody.
CNN would have panel after panel, and Van Jones would come on and cry.
And there should be outrage about this.
Yeah.
It shouldn't matter who the speaker is.
That's right.
This is Kamala Harris.
But that just goes to show you that they don't really care about the issue, Ron.
They only care about the issue if it helps them own their political opponents.
But as soon as they get power, they don't fucking mention this stuff.
And they're doing the exact same shit.
So there's just more on Joe Biden.
America is back.
They're getting us back on track.
You want to know how he's getting us back on track?
Remember how discriminatory Trump was against gays and immigrants?
Well, Joe Biden is still building the border wall.
Kamala Harris just told immigrants to don't come to America.
And he's deporting more people and the kids are still in cages.
But what about how he treats gay people?
Well, Biden's Department of Justice signals it will defend a law that allows discrimination in schools.
Yeah.
Well, you want to see?
The Justice Department said in a court filing Tuesday that it will continue to defend a federal law that allows religious schools to discriminate against LGBTQ students.
Happy Pride Month, everybody.
Thank God, right?
You voted for Joe Biden.
Aren't you happy?
He doesn't discriminate.
I mean, I guess he discriminates against gays.
Isn't that fantastic?
You guys proud of yourselves?
You voted for Joe Biden?
The pathological liar, warmongering enemy of the people, racist, now anti-LGBTQ.
Wow, you really, they should be, you know what?
The people, the gays who are discriminated against by this law, they should feel honored that they're being discriminated against by the lesser of two evils.
Am I right, Ron?
So gross.
Here we go.
The move seems to conflict with the Biden administration's Department of Justice memo pledging that all persons should receive equal treatment under the law, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation.
Hmm.
This is the latest example where Justice Department's positions in court have come under question from critics on the left, expecting or anticipating different policies under Joe Biden.
They were anticipating too much.
Plaintiffs in the case said they are dismayed by the Justice Department's decision to defend the law.
My clients feel betrayed by an administration that promised to protect LGBTQ students, said the director of Religious Exemption Accountability Project.
The Biden administration did not need to defend this unconstitutional religious exemption, and they certainly did not need to say that it shares the same ultimate objective as anti-LGBTQ extremist groups.
Wow.
Wow.
That's like Joe Biden's.
That should be his slogan, Ron.
It should be, I didn't need to do this awful thing, but I did it anyway.
So there you go.
So if you voted for Joe Biden because you thought that he was going to be, you hated how Trump treated the gays.
Welcome to the new boss.
Same as the old boss.
Isn't that awesome?
Really, I know, again, I know I can't wait to bump into these people because comedy's opening back up.
I'll bump into them doing comedy to see all these jackasses who patted themselves on the back for voting against for Joe Biden because now everything's better again.
Now we don't have discrimination.
Now the president is an anti-LGBTQ.
He's not anti-immigrant.
He's not a crazy warm.
Except all those things are not true.
You voted for Joe Biden, who's an enemy of LGBTQ right here.
He's an enemy of immigrants.
He's an enemy of, he's for war.
He's an enemy of workers.
And he's an enemy of sick people because he won't give you health care.
So you voted for Joe Biden.
Congratulations.
You voted for discrimination.
You voted for Trump.
You happy?
Unfucking believable.
Do you have any, I can't wait to, well, my friend Howie Scora, I'd like to see what his reaction to this is.
Ron, do you have any gay friends that they have weighed in on?
Their displeasure over this yet?
Or is this still not really being talked about?
I mean, I haven't talked to anyone personally about this.
No, but, you know, it's really just so telling how as a society, we are moving forward.
And yet in our politics, we're moving backwards.
That's when you know, like, you live in an oligarchy.
Well, that's also hilarious to watch people who are pro-interventionists and pro-war, like the Young Turks, talk about how some other country isn't a democracy, about how some other countries' elections are a sham.
This is an oligarchy, 100% of the United States.
They proved it with the Princeton study that it doesn't matter what you think.
If you're not in the upper 10% of income earners, your desires are never reflected in legislation ever.
We live in an oligarchy.
That's not hyperbole.
President Joe Biden is calling me.
Hello.
Hey, man, it's over.
The pandemic's over.
Oh, really?
It's time to rebuild our democracy better.
How you ask?
Easy.
We take up where we left off.
Grew the living fuck out of the poor and keep shooting black people.
What do you think?
I really need your feedback on this.
I don't know, Joe.
How are we going to pay for it?
Don't worry, man.
Wall Street's going to be all right.
We're in this together with the brick and mortar mortar makers at Raytheon.
I'm back, Fat.
And that is a fact.
How are we going to pay for it?
In September, we're turning off the COVID unemployment.
Why?
More incentive for 50-year-old students to start paying off those student loans.
Everybody's cured, Fat.
Time for Americans to step up to the plate and pay those bills.
Jumpstart the economy again, but from the ground up.
That doesn't seem fair, Joe.
What do you know from FAIR?
I'll tell you what's not fair.
Relying on a bunch of rich people to pay their taxes, they never do it.
So I ask you this.
Why can't we just give the average American a chance to simulate the economy for once by trickling up?
And we can't empower them to do that without more audits on food stamps people.
Hear me out.
Do you realize there are some Americans on food stamps who have more than $5,000 in their bank account and they don't report it to their caseworker as a felony?
Jesus.
How are they supposed to save up for a new car or repair their old one for their job if they're not allowed to have more than $5,000 in assets, Joe?
Wait, do you have a job in a fucking car, too?
Do your part and turn in these scoff laws.
Purveyors of malarkey man.
If you see something, say something.
You might even get a reward.
Jeez.
What happened to all your campaign pledges, Joe?
I'll tell you what happened.
I don't know.
They were around here somewhere.
Can you narrow it down a little?
How about your public option?
Sorry, Fat, I can't.
Joe Manchin.
What about the student loan debt relief?
I really like to, but, you know, Joe Manchin.
Yeah.
How about prescription drug reform?
Manchin.
My hands are tied, Jack.
I can't do universal health care and cure cancer at the same time.
You got to pick one.
There are at least 10 other Democrats siding with Manchin who are against the filibuster reform.
Come on, man.
How many times do you have to say, come on, man, before you get the point?
If Manchin didn't exist, the DNC would have to invent him to protect American interests.
Grow up.
Life isn't fair.
You know what else isn't fair?
Checkers.
Doesn't matter which way you move.
Everything's left up to chance.
It's like your pedigree doesn't matter.
And that leads to your kids growing up in a racial jungle where they turn to crack and badly produced porn.
Leave my son out of this.
Well, thanks again for calling with all the good news, Joe.
Shut up, man.
And secondly, did you see me on the TV today?
I look like some Keystone Cops character doddering around trying to figure out what the fuck I'm doing.
Before you know it, a big oversized bandage around my foot and get it repeatedly slammed in the car door of my Model T. I have the most diverse cabinet of Raytheon and Northrop Grumman board members in the entire history of the American planet.
It's like my dear old daddy used to say, keep your grubby meat hooks off the damn drapes.
Use a cord.

Now, you know what happened with Force to Vote, right?
So what Force to Vote was that the squad now has enough members that they need their votes.
So Nancy Pelosi could not become speaker without the squad's votes.
And so we were urging the squad to do what they campaigned on, which is that they would withhold their vote and extract something for it from Nancy Pelosi.
The thing we picked was a vote for Medicare for All because that's been an agreed-upon goal of the left for a generation.
That's been an agreed-upon goal is to force a vote on Medicare for All on the House floor.
AOC said it was her goal.
Nancy Pelosi said it was her goal in 1994.
This has been an agreed-upon goal of the left for a generation, decades.
So that's why we chose Vote for Medicare for All to be the force to vote thing because everybody agreed on it.
But as soon as we proposed it and it was a great idea and everyone saw it was, half the left then ran interference like the intercept and Ryan Grimm, the Young Turks and Jank Uger and Anna Kasperian, people with MSNBC contracts.
They all ran interference for the squad to not do this.
Why?
Because they're in the pocket of the establishment.
Those people, the young Turks, are in the pocket of the establishment.
They're beholden to DNC donors, just like people whose shows are on the Peacock network and have MSNBC contracts.
They can't offend those people.
They can't offend corporate America for real.
And so they went against Force to Vote, pretending, and nobody had a coherent.
You saw Breonna Joy Gray had a debate with one of the loudest anti-force to vote people, and there was no argument to be found.
There was no argument to be found.
There wasn't.
There still is no argument against force to vote.
So here's Pramila Jayapel being asked about this, and she still doesn't have a, here she is.
Here's what she says.
These are the pieces of work that have to happen.
If somebody wants to call for us to force a vote on Medicare for All, I am happy to tell you why I think that's a bad idea.
It will end our movement.
Boy, I'm so glad we didn't force a vote on Medicare for all because now their movement isn't ended and we're no closer to getting Medicare for all.
She doesn't want to vote.
She doesn't want to vote on Medicare for all.
She just introduced Medicare for all to the floor of the house.
She just introduced the bill.
She just introduced Medicare for All and she's saying she doesn't want to vote on it because it would end her movement.
Completely made up garbage and nobody will push back on that.
Nobody will push back on that.
Wouldn't it be great if Kyle Kalinske and Crystal Ball could get her on their show so they could push back on that?
Because I know they would.
But she won't come on my show and she'll only go on pushover shows.
She's not going to go on this show.
She's not going to go on that show.
She'll only go on shows that they won't ask her a follow-up quiz.
They'll go on with Jeremy Scahill at the intercept because Jeremy Scale's not going to ask a follow-up question because he's doing their bidding too, just like the intercept has to run interference for the Democratic Party.
He's doing it too.
They'll never ask a follow-up question to that.
Well, all you have to ask her, too, in that particular case is: what are they?
She said, I'd be happy to lay out why it's a bad idea.
Okay.
Lay it out.
Why?
Let's hear it.
Because fighting for Medicare for All will set it back.
That's the theory, Ron.
Again, this is the idea.
Chomsky said something similar.
It's ahistorical.
They never cite a historical precedent to back up their not forcing a vote on Medicare for All because it doesn't exist.
It doesn't exist.
There is no historical example that they can point to where we didn't force a vote on something and then it passed.
That just counterintuitive.
It's anti-logic, and it doesn't exist in history.
And that's the look of a liar.
That's the look of someone.
What did you say, Ron?
No, I was going to say, what do we want to do?
Wait.
When do we want to do it?
As long as we need to.
Probably a while.
So the whole idea that forcing a vote on Medicare for All would somehow set it back.
Oh, we would have missed all this progress we made since January 3rd when you didn't force a vote on it.
All the progress you've made on Medicare for All.
And now she introduced Medicare for All, but she's saying she doesn't want a vote on it.
That's the look of a charlatan politician.
That's what Representative Pramila Jayapel is being right here.
A charlatan politician who's lying to you.
And she's doing it on Marianne Williamson's show.
Here's Dr. Peace Love for Congress says, tell me, Representative Jayapel, how exactly do we pass progressive policies without holding a vote to pass progressive policies?
How does that happen?
Kyle Kalinske says women's suffrage was voted on and failed three times before it passed.
This is just factually wrong.
A losing vote can mobilize more people when they see the disgusting corrupt rot that is Washington, D.C. So, but her idea, Kyle, would be to just keep reintroducing bills and doing absolutely nothing.
That's how you win.
You just keep reintroducing it, do nothing, and then somehow you somehow, someday you win.
And then we tweet about it.
I don't know what movement she's speaking of, Ron.
What movement is she?
Movements, first of all, movements are supposed to move.
And they're not moving.
They're doing nothing.
They're doing nothing.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
That's the thing, too.
When a politician says, oh, this would kill the movement, this would look, that's not how society is supposed to work.
A politician doesn't dictate a movement.
A movement dictates a politician.
That's how the world's supposed to be.
I know that's not the way it is in the United States, and that's why we're in the mess we're in.
That's right.
So I've tweeted out, what would us not fighting for Medicare for all mean for you and your family?
Why haven't progressives in Congress and Bernie Sanders even mentioned Medicare for All in the last three months?
They promised to be our champions.
Didn't we elect them to fight for us no matter who is the president?
They are not fighting for you.
Bernie Sanders is not fighting for you.
Premila Jayapal, Bro Khanna, Corey Bush, AOC, none of them are fighting.
You know what they're doing?
They're voting present as they up $2 billion to the cops.
You know what they're doing?
They're not forcing a vote on Medicare for All.
They're not crossing Joe Biden.
They're not crossing Nancy Pelosi.
They're being good boys and little girls to the corporate pro-war pro-Wall Street Party.
They're good soldiers.
Pramila Jayapel is not fighting for you.
She's never going to fight for you.
And she's going to then try to gaslight you about the activists who want them to fight for you.
People who want to force the vote, people who want $15 minimum wage, people who want Joe Biden to do the things he campaigned on.
Pramila Jayapel is not going to do that.
She's not going to pressure Joe Biden.
She's not going to push them.
AOC is not going to do that.
Representative Bauman is not going to do that.
RoCanna is not doing that.
They're all tweeting, bullshitting gaslighters who are nutless wonders and will never fight for you.
And they want to blame me.
Go ahead.
I guess I'll lose my next election I'm not running for.
Anything you want to add to that, Ron?
Well, I just.
Yeah, I think that if you think you mentioned how it's like they're not bringing up Medicare for all, it's beyond that.
They're not even bringing up the public option.
No.
They're not bringing up the thing that Joe Biden himself promised.
So, I mean, how much more do you need to see?
We can't vote our way out of this thing, folks.
We can't vote our way out of this thing.
And they're not on your side.
So when people say that the squad are our allies because they give us lip service, because that's all it is.
They go, oh, they agree with us.
You can say you agree.
Look at all the people who said they're for Medicare for all and they're not.
Look at all the people who said they were for a $15 minimum wage and they're not.
You could give lips.
That doesn't make you an ally.
So people telling you that the squad are your allies are incorrect on the facts.
If they were your allies, they would be fighting for the things they give lip service to.
They're not.
That's not an ally.
That's someone who's actually an ally of the establishment.
So the squad since January 3rd has been nothing but an ally of the establishment, Wall Street, and the military industrial complex and cops.
They've done nothing for you.
Oh, I'm sorry.
They got you paygo exemptions, which I know.
Remember, Anna Kasparian let you know they got you pay go exemptions and it's not sexy.
And it turns out it's not anything.
Turns out it wasn't anything.
So that's the young Turks gaslighting you even more.
Brutal regime said underneath your tweet, Jimmy, Jimmy, you're stopping their movement of dangling Medicare for all in front of you to get you to donate more to progressive politicians who will get in power and then dangle Medicare for all in front of you to get you to donate, you see?
That's exactly right.
So what she's doing is cynical.
So the squad, AOC Representative Pramila Jayapel, is being a cynic.
So what she's doing, and she's being insidious.
So what she's doing is she, she never wants to have a vote on Medicare for all because she wants to be able to dangle that so she can get fundraising and votes.
So you'll keep voting for her because she says she's for it, even though she'll never do anything to make it happen.
She's introducing Medicare for all and doesn't want to vote on it.
And why is she doing that?
So she can fundraise off it and get votes off it.
That's it.
She's another shitty politician.
Congratulations.
Keep voting for Democrats and think things are going to change.
Do you think it's fair at this point?
Like, do you think it's fair at this point to say that in some ways, universal health care, like Medicare for all, it is the Democrats' version of abortion?
Yes.
And what I mean by that is like, you know, the Republicans, they always say abortion, abortion, abortion.
A lot of people, it's like, they don't really, they're never actually going to overturn that because they run on it so hard.
And it's like, well, Democrats, they never actually want to give you universal health care because they dangle that carrot so much and so often.
Because this goes beyond just the Medicare for All discussion.
I mean, they've been discussing universal health care for decades.
Since John F. Kennedy.
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy said it in 1962.
The things I'm proposing now, Europe did decades ago.
He said that.
So the radical, this isn't a radical idea.
The radicals are the people who are against it.
The radicals are the people who won't fight for it.
She's a radical because she says voting on it right now would somehow hurt it.
During the deadly pandemic, voting on Medicare for all would somehow hurt it.
That's just a lie.
And she's so that just shows you that your favorite politicians are willing to lie to your face over the most serious things.
And that's what the squad is.
So Joe Biden says it's time to reward work, not just wealth.
On day one, I'll move to eliminate the Trump tax cut for the super wealthy, cut the unjustified loopholes in our tax code, and use that money to invest in America's future.
June 27th, 2019, he said that.
Well, what is he actually going to do?
By the way, there are only 419 people gullible enough to believe that.
Biden offers to keep 2017 Trump tax cuts intact in infrastructure counteroffer to GOP.
What's the date on that?
That's published June 3rd.
So look at that.
From June 27th, just a little under a year later, he goes 100%, 180 backtrack.
Biden's, I feel like we've been here before almost.
Biden's latest infrastructure offer proposed to Republican senators this week would keep intact President Donald Trump's 2017 tax cuts that they oppose unwinding.
It's almost like the ruling class gets whatever they want no matter what.
It's almost like that.
Good thing the Justice Democrats are there to vote as a block.
The tweaked proposal would no longer raise the corporate tax from 21 to 28 percent.
FYI used to be 35 percent before Trump's tax cut.
And then Joe Biden was pledging to bring it back up to 28, which is what they call the ratchet effect, if you know what that is.
He's not even going to do the ratchet effect now.
They're just going to beat straight up Republicans.
Instead, Biden's new proposal increases tax enforcement to ensure the largest corporations, some of which have avoided paying any taxes because of loopholes, that they pay at least a minimum of 15%, which likely means some of them might pay 10%.
Biden reduced his infrastructure plan from $2.25 trillion to $1.7 trillion last month to get closer to an amount Republicans could theoretically support.
So he compromised with the Republicans once, and then he did it again just for kicks.
That's something.
Saki, that's Biden's spokeswoman's press secretary, did not say whether Biden is willing to go below $1 trillion.
We're going to keep optional optionality.
No, she didn't say.
We're going to keep optionality on the table.
And we'll see how the conversation goes, she said.
Wow, by next week, the Republicans are going to get him down to a $50 gift card.
Biden just made a big promise to his Wall Street donors.
After being lauded for his task force policies, the Democratic nominee promised wealthy contributors that changing corporate behavior is not going to require legislation.
I'm not proposing any.
These are the promises he keeps, folks.
These are the promises Joe Biden keeps.
Nothing will fundamentally change, and I'm not going to do anything to reign in corporate greed.
These are the promises he keeps.
The promises he doesn't keep, a living wage, $15 minimum wage, public option, student debt relief, ending the war is investing that money back here.
Anything using those tax cuts and investing that money.
Nothing he promised he's doing except the promises to his donors.
On a Zoom town hall earlier tonight, AOC praised Biden and said he has definitely exceeded expectations and claimed that the actual conduct of the administration has absolutely been in good faith.
If I could write that funny, I'd be famous.
Joe Biden, to rich donors, nothing will fundamentally change.
And that's a fact.
They're not even getting rid of the Trump tax cuts.
Remember when that was the biggest deal?
I was like, oh my God, how dare you?
Trump is such an asshole.
I can't believe they're doing this.
A trillion dollars in tax cuts, Joe Biden is going to keep.
You know what he's not going to give you?
$50 billion in student debt relief.
He's not going to give you $20 billion to end homelessness, but he will give you $1 trillion for the richest people in the country for tax cuts.
And he will give $20 billion more to Raytheon to go bomb Brom people in Syria.
So that $20 billion could have went to student debt relief, could have gone to ending homelessness.
He's not doing anything.
Nothing's going to change.
America is going to stay a two-tiered society with no middle class, and we're sliding into being Brazil.
That's where we are.
Fantastic.
And everybody who voted for Joe Biden, I hope you feel proud of yourself.
I hope you feel proud of yourself.
He's bombing Syria like a maniac.
He's keeping tax cuts for the richest people.
He's denying you health care, denying you a $15 minimum wage, denying you student debt relief, denying you public option.
What else?
Are you proud of yourself?
And he's deporting more people than Trump.
Are you proud of yourself?
You voted for Joe Biden without extracting anything for your vote?
Are you proud of yourself?
Because you shouldn't be.
Hey, guess what?
Before YouTube, well, even with YouTube suppressing us, we get more views in the demo than most CNN and MSNBC shows, just so you know.
And now they're suppressing the hell out of us.
So even with that, 80% of our views have been taken away, right?
That's what YouTube tells us because they consider us borderline content and they brag that we have suppressed borderline content views 80%.
So we used to get 16 to 18 million views.
Now we get 6 million a month.
I mean, so they're suppressing us.
But even with that YouTube suppression, we still do better than CNN and MSNBC.
And guess what?
They're even doing worse now.
CNN slips further away from 1 million viewers Tuesday.
Fox News dominates key demo in Wednesday ratings.
But so the ratings are in the tank at CNN, but don't worry, Brian Steltler told me that the ratings don't matter over at CNN.
Remember that when he said that?
I remember when he said that ratings don't matter.
It doesn't matter.
Oh, I wish I had that video.
And in this video, doesn't he look like he's just about to ask his brother for help?
That's what he looks like.
He looks like he's been crying a little bit.
Yeah, Cuomo prime time.
CNN failed to crack 900,000 viewers at any point on Tuesday, while Fox News dominated the top five most watched in the valuable demographic of viewers aged 25 to 54 on Wednesday.
Wow.
That's crazy.
Every advantage in the world.
They're on in every bar, every airport lounge, everything, and they still couldn't break a million.
It takes an effort to be that shitty, ladies and gentlemen.
It really takes an effort to be that shitty.
CNN's most watched show on Tuesday was Cuomo prime time, notching 873,000 total viewers, total viewers.
But that's not viewers at any one moment.
That's total views for the hour.
And only 162,000 in that demo for the hour.
Wow, that's really shitty.
By comparison, Tucker Carlson tonight was first among viewers in the demo with 488,000 viewers in the demo and also first in total viewers with 2.98 million, almost 3 million for Tucker.
MSNBC viewership continues to fall in the Biden era, as expected.
Because without a villain, MSNBC just isn't very entertaining, are they?
God forbid they actually have to do news or some crazy shit like that.
In a total day, MSNBC averaged 835,000 total viewers and 108,000 viewers in the demo.
That's a drop-off of 12% in total viewers and 22% in the demo during total daytime.
Cable news, our statistics are as boring and as shitty as our actual programming.
Additionally, MSNBC shed 22% of its total prime time audience, 32% of its 25 to 54, 28% of its total day viewership, and 39% of the total Dave Demo from May.
Wow, that's down 40% in the demo.
That's a big slide.
Oh, that's almost 50.
That's almost half of their viewership is gone from a year ago.
Wow.
And it is a huge slide, Jimmy, because we know how hard they're always promoting mainstream media everywhere.
Yes, correct.
The year-over-year ratings trend for MSNBC and its competitors isn't pretty.
And that will likely continue to be the case as we approach summer, pending some sort of wild-breaking news event.
Hmm.
I wonder why they're dumping all that UFO info all of a sudden.
I'm sure it's just a coinky dink.
The Rachel Maddow show remained the fourth most watched show on cable news in May, but dropped to fifth among adults 25 to 54.
Hey, maybe she can get another fake Trump tax return.
Maybe that'll help.
Maybe she should scare the shit out of people.
Tell them they're going to turn off the air conditioning.
Russia is going to turn off your air conditioning this summer.
See if her ratings go up.
The last word with Lawrence O'Donnell, fake tough guy Lawrence O'Donnell, and all in with Chris Hayes, real nerd Chris Hayes, finished the month at number seven and number 10, respectively.
Chris Hayes can't even get better views than Lawrence O'Donnell.
That's crazy.
Are you shitting me?
Chris Hayes can't get more viewers than Lawrence O'Donnell?
Holy shit.
That's wow.
Wow.
Breaking news.
MSNBC is reporting that Trump might be going to jail for the 1,356 consecutive day.
But this time, they really mean it.
They're still talking about Trump.
These places like MSNBC, CNN, they're still trying to find ways to talk about Trump because that's what gets them raised.
Go to the Young Turks video thing.
Every video that gets any views is still about Trump.
They're still talking about Trump non-stop at the Young Turks.
It's hilarious.
But anyway, so this is about CNN and the MSNBC.
And we could throw in the Young Turks too because they're both shit-lib organizations just like them.
And now that Trump is gone, Jenk is still tweeting about Trump.
It's fucking June, and he's still tweeting about Trump.
They're still doing videos about Trump, and their company's in the shitter.
No one watches the show.
But they still keep going after that.
They don't know what else to do.
It's like Pavlov.
You know, we need clicks.
Do a Trump Defridio.
Do a Trump video.
So there it is.
It's all over.
So Trump is out of the news and their fear-mongering, their big ratings getter, their click-getter, is gone.
And now they're all over.
Now, MSNBC, CNN, the Young Turks, they're all in the shitter.
And you know who's rooting for Trump to come back more than anybody?
CNN, MSNBC, and the Young Turks.
They want Trump to come back and run for president more than anybody because their whole business model is built on stoking fear of Donald Trump and his followers.
That's their whole business model.
Hello, who's this?
Mr. Door.
Hey, it's President Obama.
Oh, how you doing, Barack?
I'm doing good, man.
How you doing?
I've been better.
I've been better, but I'm okay, I guess.
Well, okay, I'm glad to hear it.
At least that last part.
Hey, man, I'm doing great.
Say hello to the wife and kids for me.
I hope they're doing good, too.
I will.
Thank you.
Hey, I got a big favorite ass.
I figured, what is it?
What is it, President Obama?
Say hello to the neighbors for me.
They're good folks.
I will, Barack.
Thanks.
And don't forget your first responders, your teachers, and the folks at your local grocery store.
We can't do it without them.
And they're all good folks.
Why are you feeling so good today, Mr. President?
I'm more than just a president, Jimmy.
I'm a dad, husband, citizen.
Say it.
You're a dad, husband, citizen.
And I'm doing good, man.
I just got off the phone with the other POTUS.
And guess what?
He's doing good too, man.
And I'll tell you why he is.
Great news.
31 million folks.
What do you think?
31 million folks, what?
The ACA, later known as Obamacare, and I take great pride in that, is now covering 1.2 million more folks.
1.2 million more folks have health care now, Jimmy.
But Barack, that's...
Yes, I'll get it right.
Dad, husband, citizen.
