Get ready for an outstanding entertainment program.
The Jimmy Dore Show.
Wow, Joe Biden gave his first official campaign speech this week, and I just thought I'd call up Bernie Sanders to get his reaction.
What now, you pest?
Senator Sanders, it's Jimmy Door, buddy.
I've barely had a chance to eat my oatmeal today, goddammit.
And you call?
Now look at it, just sitting there getting cold with that little cinnamon happy face the wife puts on top.
Well, I guess fuck me, right?
I'm sorry to interrupt your meal, Bernie.
I'll call back.
Listen, my arms are already moving up and down like a rock'em sock'em robot.
So talk now or forget it, loser.
Okay.
We're just wondering how you felt about Biden entering the race.
I'm running against, I think, 19 other people, so I'm concerned about everybody.
Not.
So you're not worried about Biden's name recognition and the corporate donors?
I think when people take a look at my record versus what's his fucking face, they'll either wise up or go back to jerking off the reruns of Top Gear.
For example, I helped lead the fight against NAFTA.
He voted for NAFTA.
Yeah, that's pretty bad.
Not only that, he voted for BAFTA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Well, I ask you, what the hell does the British Academy of Film and Television Arts have to do with the American working class?
I do not know, buddy.
Wait, let me finish, please.
I also helped lead the fight against the Tran-Pacific Partnership, or the TPP.
He supported it.
I remember.
Not only that, he voted for TTP, the total package.
What in the hell does economic justice have to do with World Championship Wrestling?
That's a good question.
He stated his three basic reasons why he's running.
Oh, be still my heart.
To rebuild the soul of the nation, restore the backbone of the nation, and restore unity to the nation.
Interesting.
Could you translate that into English?
Because I don't speak bullshit.
Well, he talked about the middle class hurting while corporations don't pay taxes and all the profits are benefiting the CEOs and shareholders.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I got news for you.
I'm already running.
Yeah, he said if we eliminated corporate tax loopholes, we could make community college free.
Yoohoo, I'm already running here.
He said the minimum wage should be raised to $15 an hour.
This guy's Rip Van Fucking Winkle.
He also said health care is a right and not a privilege.
Can you hear that?
That's the sound of my face scrunching up with contempt.
I like Joe Biden.
Joe was a friend of mine, but he's also a complete idiot shitbag.
And those are his good points.
He's so phony, his balls are made out of silicone.
So how do you approach this Biden campaign then?
I think what we need to do with all of the candidates have an issue-oriented campaign, not personal attacks.
But let's face it, when you're an asshole, you're an asshole.
Now, get off my back.
I got a glass of Metamucil waiting with my name on it.
Thank you.
It's the Jimmy Dore Show.
The show for...
...the up-minded, lowly-lovered lefties.
The kind of people that are...
It's the show that makes Anderson Cooper save.
It's hard to talk to your T-Value.
And now, here's a guy who sounds a lot like me.
It's Jimmy Dore.
Hi, everybody.
Welcome to this week's Jimmy Door Show.

And now let's get to the jokes before we get to the jokes, shall we?
I don't know if you saw that new CNN poll.
Got Biden way ahead of Bernie.
And now there's breaking.
There's even a newer CNN poll of old people.
It shows the majority of them are obtued self-destructive morons.
Margin of error plus or minus 4%.
Hey, just a reminder, though, eight years ago today, it took a trillion dollars to kill Osama bin Laden, ladies and gentlemen.
But let's be practical.
How are we going to afford Medicare for all?
Am I right?
Hey, did you hear?
You know, Ali North, Ali North, the guy who lied to Congress.
And well, he's the head of the NRA.
They put him as the head of the NRA.
And it's really sad to hear that Oliver North and Wayne Lapierre are not getting along.
Wayne LaPierre, the other head of the NRA.
You know, I guess the only dignified way out for Oliver North and Wayne LaPierre is a duel.
Might I suggest bazookas at four paces.
Thank you very much.
Whew, boy, you know, I still can't believe Prince didn't leave a will.
There goes my retirement plans.
Anyway, hey, did you hear we have four years left before the...
No, wait, 10 years?
No, the four years, there'll be no more ice in the Arctic.
I don't know.
In four years, I bet we're going to run another typical do-nothing corporateist moderate in opposition to Donald Trump, and that will mean the death of this planet as we know it.
But how about that Marvel movie?
Am I right?
Hey, what's coming up on today's show?
The Washington Post smears Pulitzer Prize winner Chris Hedges and OIZ Award winner Aaron Matei about their coverage of Russia Gate.
No kidding.
And then Rachel Maddow slams YouTube for recommending Chris Hedges and Aaron Matei's coverage of Russia Gate, and she gets owned immediately.
We're going to take a deep dive into that.
Plus, we're going to take a look at what's really happening in Venezuela.
Hey, you're being lied to again by everyone.
And we got phone calls today from Mitt Romney, Bernie Sanders, Chris Christie, and Master of the Senate, Chuck Schumer.
Plus a lot lot more.
That's today on the Jimmy Dore Show.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Oh, hey, Jimmy.
It's Mitt Romney.
Oh, hi, Senator Romney.
How are you?
Oh, please, Jimmy, just call me Senator.
Senator?
What is that?
What does that mean?
I don't get it.
Yeah, you're right.
That's Tom.
Never mind.
Look, Jimmy, I'm calling you from the Middle East.
Whoa, bit, where in the Middle East?
Well, I'm not at liberty to say where exactly.
You know, it is kind of bonkers over here.
But I can tell you that Senator Chris Murphy, D. Connecticut, and I are here on a senatorial tour.
Is that so?
Yes, it is.
In fact, we were just at the ancient city of Petra in Jordan.
You know, where they filmed the climax of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
You mean that city that's carved into a canyon that's real?
Well, you better believe it, Buster Brown.
I never tire of telling people of the realness of Petra.
Although, fortunately, Ann and I didn't actually have to maneuver through any tests or booby traps like in the movie.
Unless, of course, you count the gift shop at the end of the tour.
Right, right.
No, I mean it.
A man fell through the floor into a giant chasm.
What?
There was a Furby with a turban on it, and this man took it off the rack to look at it more closely.
And I suppose that triggered a thing.
Okay.
Huh?
I can only assume this gentleman is now deceased.
The Middle East is a very dangerous place, James.
You know, that's partially our own fault, you know.
Nice try, Jimmy.
I don't think we're going around installing trapdoors in Jordanian gift shops.
Yeah, we just bobbed them instead.
Well, quite frankly, based on the quality of the merchandise in there, it would be a waste of a warhead to do so.
They're not cheap.
Okay.
Look, the point is, we need to move U.S. foreign policy forward with regard to the Middle East.
And I've been very vocal during this trip about how I feel.
For example, I have publicly stated after meeting with the head of the PLO in Ramallah that there is no solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict other than a two-state solution.
That, okay, we agree on something.
Shocking, isn't it?
It's all part of my be mildly sane approach to weathering the Trump era.
With him flapping his gums constantly, all I have to do is say an occasional sane thing, and I look like Abraham Lincoln if he had wisely shaved that shameful beard.
Another problem in the Middle East is the military defeat of ISIS and the elimination of their territory.
How is that a problem, Mitt?
Well, the defeated ISIS fighters are now returning home to various places in Iraq, but they're still extremists and still dedicated to Islamist ideals.
Having hardened terrorists embedded in the Iraqi civilian population presents a unique and troubling problem.
Well, what do you suggest we do?
I'm afraid the only choice we have is to invade Iraq again.
That will shake these terrorist dum-doms out of their spider holes and regroup so we can fight them again, ISIS style.
Although they presumably won't be called ISIS anymore, we can expect a genesis of a new terrorist network.
It's a cycle.
Okay, you're not sounding very Abraham Lincoln-y right now.
Now, hold on there.
How do you know if he hadn't been assassinated that he wouldn't have invaded the South again?
Somehow I doubt it.
Jimmy, I don't think you quite understand how much money there is to be made off war.
Speaking of money, I just spent some on you.
Oh, yes.
When I was in the PLO gift shop, I got you a cute little plush Yasser Arafat doll.
Wow, thanks, Mitt.
That's very thoughtful.
I got something for Steph, too.
From the gift shop?
No, from the underground auctions where rich people buy looted artifacts from museums throughout Syria and Iraq.
Steph, I got you a gold and lapis lazuli necklace dated to approximately 3,700 BC.
May have been owned by the Queen of Ur.
For myself, I picked up some stone tablets that contain the missing passages of the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Did you get anything for your own wife?
Oh, what do you get?
A woman who has everything.
Answer crystals from the lost city of Atlantis that glow and float in mid-air when you sing to them.
Wow.
Being rich has its perks.
I'll send that stuff over by DHL.
Keep it sweezy.
Hi, everybody.
Guess what's happening in Venezuela?
Well, according to CNN, you got Juan Guaido is leading everybody in a revolution.
It says opposition leader Juan Guaido just spoke to a cheering crowd in Caracas, Venezuela.
We're going to stand here together asking and demanding the military to join, he said.
Oh, wow, look, attempted coup underway in Venezuela.
Look how cool they make him look.
Harry does want to hear a little bit of it.
Here's a little bit of it.
For many years, we have talked to the armed forces.
And today is clear to us that the armed forces are with the Venezuelan people and not with the dictators.
Yeah, they're not with the dictator.
Again, if there was a dictator in that country, do you think he would let a guy stand there in the middle of this country?
You don't think they would kill that guy immediately?
So what they're doing is they're trying.
This is also trying to get them to arrest Guaido.
Right?
And I love here's what Lee Camp says.
At no point in this video do they show you the size of the crowd.
I was speaking to if CNN was interested in journalism, not just propaganda, then the size of the crowd would be important.
They're just trying to portray him as a revolutionary hero.
And boy, are they some.
Charlie Hurtado says, congrats, CNN.
What a way to throw any credibility down the toilet.
Fifty years from now, when kids are learning about what happened in Venezuela, historical records will cite CNN in the wrong side of history.
Yes, they've already lied blatantly.
They said their own reporters saw that the government soldiers started those aid trucks on fire.
That didn't happen.
That was a lie.
That wasn't misreporting.
That was a deliberate lie by CNN because they're liars and they're working hand in hand with the security state.
Here's what's really happening.
This is from Venezuelan analysis.
And the headline is Venezuelan military putch defeated.
How do you spell that pooch?
How do you pronounce that?
I don't know either.
Pooch defeated as Leopold Lopez takes refuge in Spanish embassy.
the sub-headline says opposition protesters clash with security forces while government supporters swiftly mobilized to defend the presidential palace so there's guaido and there's the other guy lopez and uh it's so this is from venezuelananalysis.com it says interim president juan guaido and right-wing opposition leader leopold lopez spearheaded an unsuccessful and unsuccessful coup attempt in caracas on tuesday the thwarted uprising
started in the early morning hours when renegade military and intelligence officers reportedly released Lopez from house arrest.
So the CIA and Bolton and Elliott Abrams are in there.
They're paying off people, baby.
They're paying off certain members of their military, certain members of their intelligence community.
Lopez then joined Guaido and a handful of soldiers on the Altamira overpassed in East Caracas outside the Francisco de Miranda airbase known as La Carlotta.
Lopez and Guaido released videos on social media calling on the armed forces to back their efforts and urging supporters to take to the streets in what they term the final phase of the so-called Operation Freedom.
So what they're doing is calling for violence.
What Juan Guaido and Lopez is doing, the leaders of the opposition, is calling for out-and-out violence.
They're calling for killing people right now.
That's what they're calling for in Venezuela.
You know, you say, well, you got to oppose everybody.
No, they're not doing that.
They're doing it violently.
That's what this is all about.
They want to go kill some people and take over that country.
Large crowds of anti-government protesters, as well as opposition lawmakers, made their way to the Altamira overpass.
The scene then saw armed confrontations between the soldiers that backed Juan Guaido and those inside La Carlotta airbase.
base according to witnesses in la carlota the Venezuelan armed forces fired tear gas, meaning the Maduro, his forces, Maduro, the armed forces loyal to the government and the people of Venezuela and Maduro, they fired tear gas towards the Altamera overpass where civilian protesters began to gather.
Whereas Guaido's soldiers, the ones who defected to Guaido, the handful of them that did, those soldiers returned live fire.
So whereas the Venezuelan government soldiers, the Maduro soldiers, were shooting tear gas to disperse the crowd, the soldiers that are on the United States side started firing live ammunition.
Oh, I thought that's what a thug would do.
I thought that's what strongman maniacs do.
I thought that's what oppressive dictators do.
That's what we're doing.
That's what the United States is doing in Venezuela.
At the same time, many of the originally deployed soldiers withdrew from the scene, later revealing that they had been deceived by their superiors.
So the soldiers that were on Guaido's side on that bridge, they left because they realized they'd been deceived by their superiors who'd been paid off by Elliot Abrams, John Bolton, and the United States, the CIA.
Simultaneously, Shavista leaders took to state and social media to denounce what they termed a coup in progress.
And large crowds gathered to defend Miraflores' presidential palace.
So as soon as this coup, as soon as they figured out there was a coup or they were trying to do this, the Maduro government, the government of Venezuela, then took to media to denounce this coup happening.
And immediately large crowds gathered to defend their government and their president.
Guaido later attempted, Juan Guaido, later, the CIA puppet, Juan Guaido, later attempted to lead a march, including some armed soldiers, into western Caracas, but was stopped by the Venezuelan National Guard.
So there you go, about 10 miles, 10 kilometers away from the presidential palace.
So didn't happen.
They tried to do a coup.
It failed.
It failed.
So they tried to get to it, failed.
And who's failing?
Elliot Abrams, John Bolton, Donald Trump, the United States, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer.
They're all on board for this.
And here's Aaron Matei says, there's no way Guaido and his cohort, I doubt he's even the one making the decisions.
Of course they're not.
Elliot Abrams is making the decisions.
It's coming from Pompeo.
It's coming from John Bolton.
That's where it's coming from.
And Trump signs off on all this because he said he was going to drain the swamp, except he is the swamp.
He brought those guys are the swamp.
Those guys are war criminals.
Congratulations.
So now you know what it feels like to be a chump who voted for Trump.
Yeah, right, because the military-industrial complex got Trump's mind straight.
Yeah, so Trump might have went into office with some big ideas about ending our foreign interventions, but those ideas had been knocked out of his head.
And he's on board.
He's just like Barack Obama.
He's just like George W. Bush.
He's just like Bill Clinton.
He's just like Ronald Reagan.
They're all the same, baby.
They're all the same.
So he goes out and he goes, he launched this new coup push without the, so there's no way that these people did this without Trump's administration's blessing.
They all must know that this will compel Maduro to arrest Guaido and stop the coup.
So what is Trump administration planning to do after that?
So I don't know if they've actually arrested Guaido, but we'll see.
So here's a soldier.
You want to hear, here's a soldier.
And then right after this, I'm going to show you a video of Tucker Carlson on his show.
He brought out an actual, an actual reporter.
Unlike MSNBC, CNN, Washington Post, or New York Times, Tucker Carlson, once again, doing better work on Venezuela than Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow.
But here, first, here's how the opposition tricked some soldiers to be part of the coup, and then they figured it out.
Here we go.
So he says, yesterday around 6 o'clock in the afternoon, they sent us to look for patriotic and to receive some decorations and news that would change our lives, he says.
They gave us that information at 3 in the morning.
They sent us to look for rifles.
They sent us to deliver rifles, and they told us that we would go to take the Tocoran prison.
So that was their, from their soldier, from their leaders who were paid off by the CIA.
This is what happened.
They sent us to deliver rifles, and they told us that we would go take the Tocora to Corota prison because they had entered a thousand rifles and were going to get the prisoners out so that they would go out and fight against the people.
So do you see what Juan Guaido and his people were doing?
They went to a prison.
They wanted to bring thousands of rifles to prisoners and let the prisoners out to go fight against other Venezuelans.
So that's who the United States is in bed with, literal people who are prisoners.
That's who they're going to arm.
They're opening up the prisons.
Okay.
And what do you think about, so the reporter asked this soldier, what do you think about this situation?
And he says this is another sabotage by the pro-coup right wing that wants us to confront each other.
So he realizes what this is.
And then they ask him, do you think this is a false flag operation to put soldiers against soldiers?
And he responds by saying, that's right.
They are looking to make soldiers fight other soldiers.
But we have to show them once again they will not be able.
They will not be able to do that.
So there you go.
So there's a soldier, and he figured it out.
And now here's on now from Venezuela, we've had on Max Blumenthal.
We've had on Aaron Mate.
We've had on Abby Martin and Mike Kreisner.
We spoke with Eva Bartlett, who was down there, and they all say the same thing.
CNN and the American media is lying to you about what's happening.
And so now here's Anya Prampel, and she was down there.
Also, we've featured some of her reporting already.
So Tucker Carlson brought her on.
Now, this is a reporter who was in Venezuela and can tell you what's happening.
I guess they don't have her number at CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post.
So what do you make of the news coverage of this?
Your viewers won't be shocked to hear this, Tucker, but the news media, the fake News media are lying about the situation in Venezuela.
Let me put it for you this way: imagine if Hillary Clinton had refused to admit defeat after losing to President Trump in 2016 and banded together a group of 24 U.S. soldiers and attempted to take the White House by force.
I don't think she'd be walking freely on the streets the way Juan Guaido is walking right now in Caracas.
And I certainly think the news media would be calling it rightfully a coup.
And let me just tell you, when it comes to what's happening on the ground there, I can tell you, I was there for a month earlier this year.
The opposition has no popular support.
Juan Guaido proved today once again that he will only ride in to power on the back of a U.S. tank.
And what's more, we hear about a humanitarian crisis there, Tucker, but what we never hear is that is the intended result of U.S. sanctions which have targeted Venezuela since 2015.
Sanctions which, according to a report that was released just last week by the Center for Economic and Policy Research, has led to the deaths of 40,000 Venezuelans and will lead to the deaths of thousands more if these sanctions aren't overturned.
President Trump, if he truly cared about the American or the Venezuelan people and the American people for that matter, he would end this disastrous policy.
He would end the sanctions and he would look into John Bolton's eyes, into Elliot Abrams' eyes, and Mike Pompeo's eyes and say, you are fired.
You are leading me down a disastrous path.
Another war for oil.
Something the president said.
He said he was celebrated by the American people when he said Iraq was a mistake and now he's willing to do it again.
But it is a byproduct.
That's on Fox.
They're saying that on Fox News.
They're not saying that on MSNBC.
They're not saying that on Anderson Cooper, Anderson Cooper.
And who else to bring you the real news to the working people than a member of the Vanderbilt family?
They're not telling you that.
Why is Tucker doing this?
I don't have any idea.
But because it doesn't prop up Trump, this is telling the truth that Trump's another warmonger, just like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, just like Barack Obama and Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
They're all friggin' warmongers.
And they all do the bidding of American corporations and they all do propaganda and they lie to their own people.
And why is and you're not embarrassed that Tucker Carlson is the one bringing on real journalists to tell you the truth?
You're not embarrassed?
That's, I mean, I'm talking about CNN.
I'm talking about New York Times.
I'm talking about NBC News.
Of course, they're not embarrassed.
They're the people doing the invasion.
They're not embarrassed.
They're all part of this big capitalist gangbang.
And we got to get that oil.
So, again, once again, shame on the American news media.
And except here it is.
Look at that.
It's amazing.
So if you want to know what's going on in Venezuela, I guess you got to turn on Fox News.
Certainly don't turn on Chris Hayes or Chris Matthews or Rachel Maddow or fake tough guy Lawrence O'Donnell.
They're not going to tell you the truth.
I mean, I just really still don't understand.
My head spins every time I hear somebody who's supposed to be a liberal who's all for this coup.
As if, you know, they're pretending that they didn't have a presidential election.
They're pretending and they're not informing the American public that the rep the people that Guido represents, they actually boycotted that election.
So they didn't even want to go through a democratic process of electing this official.
And this guy, Guaido, Jimmy, has been around, you know, he's been around for a while, and they've been pushing this coup since January.
I know.
Not happening.
The people are not on board.
Can you imagine if in the United States, all of a sudden, people from Venezuela said, we got to get rid of Trump.
People hate him.
He got 3 million fewer votes.
He's not even the real president.
We got our real president.
It's Nancy Pelosi.
That's what this is.
Of course, the people don't want that to happen in Venezuela.
And that's what we're trying to do to them.
And so now anybody who voted for Trump because you thought he was an anti-interventionist, now can you, I would like to disabuse you of that stupid idea.
Trump is a charlatan, just like all the rest of them.
And he certainly got, if he went into office with the idea of getting us out of our foreign entanglements, he certainly got that idea kicked out of him.
And he's one of the club, baby.
He's one of the boys.
Wow, hey, Chris Christie's on the line, and I can't wait to get his reaction to Bridget Kelly getting sentenced to 13 months in jail for her role in Bridgegate.
Hello, Chris Christie.
Yeah, it's just Cinnabon.
No.
Then why is your number exactly the same identical to my favorite high-calorie breakfast roll delivery system?
It's a coincidence, I guess, Chris.
You're just jerking my chain.
I get it.
Have fun with the ex-governor.
I'll have one of those big puppy things with the icing all over it.
And, oh, God, my eyes are tearing up with emotion.
Yeah, I'm sorry, but I didn't mean to mislead you.
Don't you ever fucking let me catch you lying about cinema rolls, cinnamon products, and their wonderful selection of coffees and frozen drinks, or I'll fucking cut your head off.
You fucking understand me?
I get it.
I get it.
It's the sweetest brand on earth, Day.
I wonder who the hey do you want?
I got an appointment for a massage coming up.
Bridget Kelly is about to go to jail, and she's calling you a coward and a bully.
She says you're escaping justice.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I ain't escaping no justice.
She is.
She's a justice escaper.
Every day I wake up, and you know what I say?
What?
Good morning, Justice.
And Justice says back to me, good morning to you, Mr. Christie.
Would you care for a Cinnabon?
And I say, most certainly, if you will, thank you.
And so on and so on.
So you see, I ain't escaping no justice because every day I welcome her with open arms.
She's the one escaping justice.
End of story, case closed.
Yeah, but she's going to prison, Chris.
Oh, she ain't going to jail.
I'm the one.
Fuck.
Erase, erase, erase.
What's all this about again?
Bridgegate.
You know, when your administration shut down the George Washington Bridge as revenge?
That was then.
This is now.
That was a long time ago, like nine years ago or something.
And there's some kind of statue of imitations there of some sort.
I don't know New Jersey's law in detail.
Of course not.
That's my point.
Who does?
And here go, thusly in conclusion, as I said before, case closed.
But how could a woman you derided as a low-level staffer, only good enough to plan menus, be powerful enough to shut down one of the busiest bridges in the country?
She ain't was no low-level staffer.
Follow me.
I was the low-level staffer.
She blinded me with all those menus full of sweet meats and big hot puffy dinner rolls, steamy rolls, smothered in fresh, grass-fed butter.
And before I knew it, all jerseys up my grass-fed ass about some fucking bridge.
Not my fault I wasn't there, was I?
I got an Alibaba.
Alibi.
That's true.
My son crammed some cracker jacks in my seatbelt machine.
I was puffing up caramel coat of peanuts all day.
It was traumaticizing.
I think I got post-Tosi's dramatic stress reorders there.
But weren't you?
But weren't you the only person powerful enough to approve of such an act to close down a major bridge for days?
I'm not the powerful one.
She is.
She gets all these headlines and shit.
Look at me.
I can't even get a non-paying job in a Trump White House.
My life is over.
Woe is me.
You know who's the bully?
Yes.
She is.
Jeez.
And now I got this reenactment.
Detachment disorderly here or red.
You don't have rad.
I do.
You're the bullies and cowards.
I got corn nuts exploding from every hole.
And you guys think I close down some dumb bridge?
Boo-hoo, the bridge is closed.
Take a helicopter next time, you fucking freeloaders.
Now look what you've done.
All this stress is killing my appetites.
Are you sure you're not affiliated with Shitabond?
Don't answer that.
I don't think I could take the let down.
Now hang the fuck off before I purposely mispronunciate a bunch of more syntacticals.
Follow me.

So great work.
So he's with us.
The Washington Post wrote an article that said that YouTube was recommending a video to explain the Mueller report from RT.
Oh my God.
There it is.
There it is.
It says Rachel Maddow tweets out death by algorithm.
YouTube recommended Russia Today for understanding Mueller reports.
She just tweets that out there as if it's inaccurate.
As if that's inaccurate.
And so what I immediately did was I tweeted, I said, the thing that I've lied to my own audience about for three years straight, turns out you'd have gotten much better information in journalism if you got it straight from Russia.
That's how unhinged and shitty MSNBC's reporting has been.
No, seriously, comedians are better.
And the reason why they can't, YouTube can't recommend Rachel Maddow's coverage of Russia Gate is because they have a policy that they don't recommend conspiracy videos.
And that's what Rachel Maddow does.
She does conspiracy videos.
She's writing the new book.
It was first Alex Jones, and now it's Rachel Maddow.
So how could I have watched Rachel Maddow for, I don't know, close to 10 years?
No, when did she get that job?
2010.
So about five years I watched her.
And she was really good, I thought.
What was I missing?
I used to be a big fan, too.
I used to be a big fan as well.
You know, I think she's very talented, is a great broadcaster.
Once she seemed to have principles and seemed to care about progressive causes, I remember her covering Flint in depth when other people were ignoring it.
So there was a time when I thought, I mean, she was always constrained inside the corporate media bubble, inside the cable news bubble.
But still, I thought there was a time when, even within those constraints, she did a somewhat decent job.
But then 2016 happened, and she turned into an unhinged conspiracy theorist and a Russophobe.
I mean, really kind of ginning up this like anti-Russia sentiment and presenting Russians as this existential threat to the country, which she's still doing.
Would you say it's equivalent to the fearmongering Trump does with Mexicans as she does with Russians?
I would.
Yeah, I think you can draw a line there.
And, you know, also, it reminds me of what Glenn Beck and all them used to do with Barack Obama and birtherism, this fear-mongering about Obama was from a foreign country and all the conspiracy theories that they would go through to try to substantiate their false claim about Obama.
What Maddow has done for over two years is every night spend these crazy tales about Putin controlling Trump, being responsible for getting Rex Tillerson hired and then also fired.
Putin being responsible for Trump hiring Paul Manafort, Putin getting Trump to weaken the State Department to weaken the FBI.
I mean, all these crazy things.
I mean, that's what it's come down to.
And who knows what's going on in someone's mind?
But what she's doing is a encapsulation of this overall pathology that's afflicted liberal culture in general for the last two plus years, where Russia has been blamed for a very American phenomenon.
In fact, an exclusively American phenomenon, which is the rise of Donald Trump.
But it's like this refusal to accept that Donald Trump is our creation has led people like Maddow to peddle this nonsense that it's and even the direct result of a conspiracy with Russia.
The only thing that I would disagree with you on there, Aaron, and look, I'm very impressed.
It's a very exciting moment for me that I get to disagree with you over something is that you said this is an American phenomenon, Donald Trump.
I don't think it is.
We had Mark Blython, who is the political economist, and he explained that it's not a local event, that Trump is not a local event.
It has a lot to do with Brexit, a lot to do with Greece, a lot to do with what's happening in Italy.
And so it's neoliberalism is crashing.
And what neoliberalism basically is capitalism, right?
So it's unbridled capitalism, which is failing worldwide right now.
And I think Trump is a symptom of that.
And that system has not only in the United States, it's also in Europe.
And it's worldwide right now, neoliberalism, which is corporatism, which is, you know, free markets.
And remember, there's no such thing as a free market.
Markets are invented by guys who have stuff that they want to sell and they need rules to protect themselves.
They're not rules to protect you.
So there's no such thing as a free market.
That's a misnomer by fucking capitalists who want to make you think that what they're doing is somehow in tune, like as if capitalism was invented by Jesus and we found it in nature.
It wasn't found in nature.
It doesn't exist outside of guys who have shit to sell setting it up.
That's what capitalism is.
Okay.
I totally agree.
I don't see a contradiction in arguments there.
I mean, yeah.
Okay.
So here is you.
So here's what you said to Rachel Maddow tweeting that out.
You said if YouTube were to recommend your show, it'd be recommending the leading purveyor of now debunked Trump Russia conspiracy theories, falsehoods, and innuendo of the last two and a half years.
And here's a sample.
And I'm going to tell you, it's more than a sample.
This talk about meticulous work.
This guy is meticulous on goddamn Twitter.
You know, I mean, I'll sit there and think about a half hour how I'm going to word a tweet because I want it to be funny.
But those half hours, he's looking up shit.
I'm not doing, I'm thinking about the wording.
So here he is.
There's number two.
He says, just recently, you were caught in real time lying to your audience.
You claimed that Barr was handling the redactions by himself.
But the Chiron on screen right below told viewers the truth that Mueller was in fact assisting with the redaction.
So you can see it.
So she was saying in her verbiage was that Barr was handling the redactions by himself.
But during the show, her producers put on the Chiron underneath was Mueller was assisting Barr with the redactions.
So that's the first one.
And Jimmy, by the way, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but if you watch that clip, about halfway through, the Chiron switches to something else.
So she's talking and she's talking about, she's saying that Barr is handling the redactions all by himself.
And where's Mueller?
Where is Mueller?
Mueller would have done this.
And the Chiron says that Mueller is in fact assisting with the redactions.
At a certain point, but halfway through that clip, the Chiron switches.
Whether that was intentional or not, whether they realized that their Chiron was contradicting what she was saying or not, I don't know, but it's a funny, it's a funny scene.
The sad thing is that the only people holding Rachel Maddow and people like her accountable are people like you and me.
And now I'm marginalized because I'm a comedian on YouTube, but you're a real award-winning journalist and you get published in the nation.
So you're like the only person, and they can ignore one person real easily.
But there's never going to be another person with a huge platform to go after Rachel Maddow because the people with those huge platforms are pushing the exact same crazy shit that she is.
You know, Jimmy, once I gave up ever having any desire to be on MSNBC, and I was kind of inspired by my friend Max Blumenthal, who said one time, I remember Max saying he was on Twitter somewhere.
He's like, hey, everyone, just so you know, I don't care about going on MSNBC, and I'm not afraid to say what I think.
And I realized, you know what?
He's got a point there.
Like, it's true that, you know, like, it's nice to have exposure.
But once you can give up this kind of like liberal dream of being welcomed on MSNBC and, you know, reaching a lot of people, it's liberating because then you can actually say what you think about things.
And, you know, from there, I've never looked back.
And that's why, I mean, part of the reason why I do this, why I go after MSNBC, and it's not just Rachel Maddow.
It's unfortunately Chris Hayes, who I used to really admire, and other people there too, is because they represent, you know, publicly, you know, so much of the space that challenges Donald Trump.
To right-wingers, they're seen as the face of the anti-Trump resistance.
And as somebody who does not want to see Trump get re-elected, who wants a real left and a real actual real alternative to Donald Trump and a real opposition, I don't want to see these people, these unhinged conspiracy theorists who ignore the real issues affecting real people to push like crazy stuff like this.
I don't want that to be the face of what progressive politics is.
So that's why it's important to push back on these people.
And also because Chomsky says it's important to push back on liberals because they represent the outer limits within the mainstream at which you can criticize the prevailing establishments.
So they're the outer limit of what criticism is possible.
And if the outer limit is still so constrained and it's still actually dangerous because it's warmongering, it's pushing unhinged conspiracy theories, and it's not really challenging Trump and those in power on real issues, then that's extremely dangerous.
So it's important to push back and expose these people for who they are and to say that they're not actually a real challenge to Trump.
They're not real progressives.
They're actually propagandists and they're propagandists for their own self-interested reasons.
So that's why it's important to push back on them and expose them.
All right.
So let's go to your third tweet.
Your third tweet was: there was the time in January 2017 when you speculated that Putin may use the P-TAPE and other compromat to force Trump into withdrawing U.S. troops near Russia.
How did that one turn out?
Well, we know that they've ramped up their troop presence around Russia, including sending warships to the Black Sea.
And now he's pulled out of the nuclear treaty that Reagan set up with Gorbachev.
And it's the exact opposite, right, of what Rachel was claiming here, correct?
If you watch that clip, it's so crazy.
It's in a segment where she goes on about how Russians have used Compromat to blackmail people before.
She talks about how Trump and Putin have denied the sex tape allegations, but she says it in a real mocking way.
Like, yeah, sure.
And she's making fun of it.
And then she goes into this serious sermon here about how we're about to find out if Russia has something on Trump because the U.S. has deployed tens of thousands of troops to Europe.
And is Trump going to pull those troops out?
And of course, as you say, Jimmy, Trump did the exact opposite.
He ramped up the true presence, but you'll never see that on the Rachel Maddow show.
They'll always ignore all the, not just the countervailing evidence of their conspiracy theories, but also countervailing developments that undermine their narrative that Trump is doing Putin's bidding.
Because in fact, as you say, Trump has escalated tensions with Russia with his policies, but they ignore that because those facts are not convenient to their narrative.
So they're depriving people of information that they need to understand that right now, Trump is actually escalating tensions with Russia, which is extremely dangerous because as liberals and progressives, we should be challenging that.
We should be pushing back on Trump, pulling out of the nuclear treaty and trying to overthrow a government in Venezuela, all these things that go against Russia, because those things escalate tensions and tensions between nuclear powers are dangerous, existentially dangerous to the entire world.
Okay, so here is yet another one.
It says, by the way, just last week, you falsely said that the one thing I refused to let myself think about was that Putin had tapes of Trump.
The very prospect you had previously floated to posit that Trump, that Putin may blackmail Trump into withdrawing troops.
So explain to me, I'm confused of what you mean by that tweet.
Can you explain it to me?
Well, Jimmy, can you play these videos from your computer there?
Is that possible or not?
No.
Okay.
All right.
So basically, she last week.
Would that have made this a better segment?
Should I have gotten all these videos?
Okay.
No.
Basically, last week, she revived the P-Tape theory.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
Yeah.
That's completely made up.
It was in the dossier.
That's completely discredited.
Yeah.
Well, she revived it because there was a news development because it was mentioned in the Mueller report.
And, you know, again, it's a dead end.
But because it was mentioned, she revived it and then left out the countervailing information and then was like, you know, I can't believe we have to think about, again, the possibility that Putin has a P-tape of Trump.
And, you know, I never wanted to go there.
I never once entertained that thought, you know, which in the process of saying that she's either lying or she's forgetting that she did that whole segment about whether or not Putin will use the P-tape to get Trump to withdraw U.S. forces from Europe.
That's amazing.
Here's another one.
Who could forget that time this past winter when you seized on life-threatening cold temperatures?
Remember the polar vortex?
And she fear-mongered that Russia could kill Americans by knocking out their heat and cutting off their natural gas.
What if all the natural gas to your houses in Fargo just went poof?
She said, Remember that?
She said, Because what if it just went poof?
She said that.
So that's awesome.
We know what that's.
We did a video about that.
That's up on YouTube.
We did it in front of a live audience.
That one.
That was definitely live audience worthy when she says that Russia will freeze you in the middle of the winter.
Number six, there was that time when you explored the scenario under which Putin gives orders to his puppet Trump at an upcoming meeting.
Do you think Putin ordered Trump to stage a coup in Venezuela, try to kill the German-Russia gas pipeline, and nix the INF treaty?
Yeah, very funny.
Number seven, how about that time when you speculated, citing the Steele dossier, that Cohen billed Trump $50,000 for tech services to pay off Russian hackers?
It was actually to pay a U.S. firm.
Yeah.
This one was so stupid.
So basically, it came out in some court documents that Cohen had submitted an expense of $50,000.
And Maddow seized on that and said, well, there's a part of the Steele dossier that says that Cohen went to Prague to pay off Russian hackers.
And here she was speculating that this was confirmation of that.
And of course, it turned out to be nothing of the sort.
Okay.
Number eight, how about when you suggested that Putin has gotten Trump to bleed out the FBI?
If Mueller and the FBI found proof of that, I missed that part in their report.
Unbelievable.
The quote there, I'll try to do an impersonation of what she said.
This is the exact line.
She goes, The FBI is bleeding out.
And she talks about how that's a part of Putin's goal.
Putin's goal is to weaken the U.S. And so she goes, The FBI is bleeding out.
This is like Putin, as if like Putin is getting Trump to bleed out the FBI.
It's so weird.
And this goes on.
There's more like that.
There's more like that.
Here's another one.
How about the time when you speculated that Putin installed Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State?
How about when you claim that the White House edited out a key question from the Trump Putin presser?
Then the Washington Post showed that that to be false and the result of live video audio switching issue.
Yet you never corrected it.
She never did correct that.
I remember that.
She never corrects anything.
And these people never correct anything.
They spew outright falsehoods, but nothing ever gets corrected.
Nothing.
I've seen that.
I've seen that happen.
People who push Russia gate never correct themselves ever.
And that's what makes, lets me know that I do better journalism than people who consider themselves journalists.
They don't do journalism.
They're doing propaganda.
That's what they're doing.
Number 11.
Then there was that time when you lamented the suspension of the U.S. war games in Korea and speculated that it was the fault of Putin.
Oh, I remember that.
These are so.
Number 12, have you ever gotten to the bottom of your new scrutiny of Russia and Trump's inauguration in January 2017?
AKA, a Russian couple who posted video of their attendance.
What was this?
Well, this is an example of like where, you know, all these things are going on under Trump.
You know, we have him pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, assaulting health care, raising taxes, cutting taxes for the wealthy, for corporations, all these assaults on working people.
And then you have the top-rated liberal news show, an anchor making millions of dollars a year.
And she's focusing on stuff like this, where a Russian couple goes to Trump's inauguration, posts a video online, and now it's new scrutiny on Russians at Trump's inauguration.
Like, as if this is an issue, the fact that there was a Russian couple at Trump's inauguration.
Like, who cares?
But this is an example of what the top resistance network was focused on.
It's such an abrogation of journalism and of like of duty just as a citizen, focused on real issues that impact people's lives.
And now we're thinking about this Russian couple at Trump's inauguration.
It's insane.
So again, I just want to real quickly ask you again: what was it that we met?
So this was always inside Rachel Maddow to be worse than Glenn Beck.
She always had it inside her, and it just needed the right foil.
She just needed the right adversary to reveal her, just like Keith Olberman and everybody else who pushed Russia Gate at the top of it, to reveal them to be unhinged maniacs at any given moment and giving any, given the situation, Rachel Maddow could be worse than Glenn Beck.
I don't want to psychoanalyze them, but I think all these people identify with the neoliberal Democratic elite.
2016 was an unequivocal rejection of the neoliberal Democratic elite and all that they stand for.
And these people didn't know what to do.
They couldn't handle it.
They're incapable of self-reflection, of even saying, geez, maybe if Hillary Clinton had campaigned in Michigan and Wisconsin, maybe she would have had a better shot.
And of course, maybe if Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and Bill Clinton didn't have the economic record that they had, maybe they could have reached voters in Michigan and Wisconsin.
But they're incapable of those thoughts.
And so they had to switch to a narrative that was convenient.
And Russia was the one that was presented to them.
It was presented to them by the people around Clinton.
And it was presented to them by people in the national security state who opposed Trump, not because they didn't like Trump's policies that hurt working people or because they didn't like Trump's misogyny and racism, but because they didn't like that Trump was saying he wanted to get along with Russia and they didn't see Trump as a suitable steward of the war machine that they're in charge of.
And so, you know, this was the way for them to oppose Trump and they lost their minds in the process.
You know, that's the best explanation I can come up with.
And of course, pushing this was profitable for them.
You know, Chris Hayes, his show didn't always have the great, like the best ratings, but in pushing, he jumped on the conspiracy theory.
I mean, whether he meant it sincerely or not, I don't know, but he jumped on the conspiracy theory.
It helped his ratings.
So this thing was profitable for them.
That's the best way that I can explain it.
So I just want to really quickly, I know you don't want to psychoanalyze these people, but that's what we need to do.
And do you know anybody who could do that?
All right.
Anyway.
Well, you know, I actually do.
You know what?
I actually just did an interview with Dr. Gabor Matte, who's a physician and an author.
He's also my father.
And he writes about mental health and psychology a lot and the intersection with that in politics.
And we actually just did a 30-minute interview sort of psychoanalyzing Russia Gate and looking at why it was so appealing to not just pundits like Maddow, but why it took hold amongst people who were legitimately afraid by Trump's victory.
So we're going to be releasing that soon on the gray zone, which is Max Blumenthal's outlet.
And that'll be out soon.
And so, you know, you maybe want to have him on to discuss it.
It's certainly, I agree, we can't understand the prevalence of RussiaGate without understanding the psychological angle to it.
So it's an important line of inquiry.
So before so we can go on.
you have at least eight more of these.
But I want to stop and I want to, I don't have this loaded into the show, but I want to read to you the tweet that I've been remarking about Chris Hayes made last week on the 18th of April.
He says, back during the Civil War, there were people who took basically a kind of anti-anti-slavery position.
To be sure, they'd say they didn't like slavery, obviously, but the abolitionists were deranged, the northern establishment corrupt, Lincoln a scourge to civil liberties.
I never heard of these people, by the way.
Did they exist, Aaron?
Is he making this up?
Did those people exist?
Is he just making that up?
So he's trying to say that there were people who were ignoring.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, he's he's what he's he's right.
There were these people.
But what he's doing is he's putting his Ivy League education to use and trying to come up with a fancy way to smear people who are critical of the failed conspiracy theory that he pushed for two years.
And he's comparing us now to people who are anti-anti-slavery.
It's just, this is one of the most disgusting things I've seen tweeted in a long time.
And, you know, he's basically saying that because we didn't buy into the conspiracy theory that he did, the one that, by the way, gave Trump a massive reelection gift that were comparable to anti-anti-slavery.
I mean, it's insulting on so many levels.
I'm not even sure to know where to begin.
So back during the Civil War, there were people who took basically a kind of anti-anti-slavery position.
To be sure, they'd say they didn't like slavery, obviously, but the abolitionists were deranged.
The Northern establishment were corrupt.
Lincoln's scourge to the civil liberties.
So what he's doing is trying to say that people like Aaron Matei and myself and Max Blumenthal and Kyle Kalinske and Glenn Greenwald, we are the people who were against slavery, but we were also against the people who were trying to stop slavery.
Get it?
That's not the same.
You weren't trying to stop Trump.
You were actually propping him up.
The people who are trying to stop slavery were actually stopping slavery.
So there's a difference, right?
So what you were doing, Chris Hayes, was the opposite of what the people who were stopping slavery were doing.
You were actually propping up Trump because you were pushing a bullshit thing.
They weren't pushing bullshit.
All right.
Anyway, here's the next thing he says.
Some of the critiques were even true.
Some of the critiques were even true.
But they also knew what they were doing and which side they were on.
And their allegiances, no matter their protestations, are written into history.
So what he's saying there is that Aaron Matei, because he had journalistic standards and wasn't willing to lie for a political party, that he's a traitor, that Aaron Matei is now on Trump side, and Chris Hayes is on the right side, even though he's admitting he's been lying.
Is that what he's doing there, Aaron?
Yeah, his conspiracy theory has failed.
And instead of saying, you know what, maybe this, maybe we did this wrong.
Maybe we shouldn't have pushed above everything else this narrative that Trump and Putin conspired and that Trump was compromised by Putin and the blackmail leverage that Putin had over him.
Maybe it was a mistake for us to prioritize that above all the real policies that Trump is enacting that are harmful to the country.
And maybe this was a mistake also because us focusing on this so much distracted attention from those policies.
And then when our conspiracy theory collapsed, it gave Trump a massive reelection gift.
Instead of acknowledging that, instead of displaying some minimal humility, Chris goes and does this thing where he likens us to being anti-anti-slavery with his lofty rhetoric and trying to invoke history because he's read a bunch of Civil War books.
It's really pathetic.
And, you know, if he had any decency, he'd say, you know, yeah, we made a mistake and I've learned from it and we're going to move on and try to do better.
But instead, he attacks those who got it right.
And, you know, he leaves out the fact that, again, as I've said, I mean, this was good.
There's a reason why they focused on this so much.
It was good for their ratings.
This conspiracy thriller was good for MSNBC's ratings.
It wasn't doing so hot a few years ago.
But being able to push every single day this spy thriller narrative of international espionage and intrigue and Trump and Putin secretly conspiring and that Robert Mueller was going to save us all.
I mean, it was good for them.
And Chris, you know, whatever his intentions were initially, he went into this full on.
He doubled down on it.
He became not that far off from Maddow.
And now he's blaming us for its collapse and he's trying to smear us this way.
You know, it speaks for itself.
Yeah, he's what they call an overeducated moron, right?
Because you had to read all those books to use all these smart words to be wrong.
You know, that just goes to show you what's more important, Aaron, intelligence or courage and integrity.
Well, obviously we know what's more important, courage and intelligence.
I mean, intelligence is not that important because I don't have it, and yet I was able to get this story right and I didn't mislead my audience.
Whereas Chris Hayes has all the intelligence in the world, lacks courage and lacks integrity.
He has no character.
You know, I said to somebody who was pushing Russia Gate at the top of their lungs on there, and I said, you know, you don't have any, if you had any character, you'd be apologizing to me and trying to ask how you could make it up to me.
And then it was like, how could you say I don't have character?
What the fuck?
Are you kidding me?
And that's what Chris Hayes is doing.
You don't, Chris Hayes doesn't have any character.
He doesn't have any decency.
You said if he had any decency, you know what that means?
He doesn't have any decency.
Chris Hayes doesn't have any decency.
And that's the kind of piece of shit that they hire at MSNBC.
And that's why the country's in the fucking position it's in is because the fourth estate is not the fourth estate.
It's part of the fucking establishment estate, which is what it's always been.
But now it's been ramped up on steroids ever since Bill Clinton passed the 1996 Telecommunications Act.
That's really the demise of this country.
It's not RT.
It's not Trump.
It's not fucking Putin.
It's us right here.
It's our corporate state and pieces of shit like Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow that cheer it on and then shame people who are truth tellers.
That's how bad it's gotten at MSNBC, that they're now, he's now smearing people who are winning awards on the fucking very stories he's falling down on the job on.
That's the kind of piece of shit Chris Hayes is.
And they're all that way.
And if Chris Hayes had any decency and any integrity, he would have fucking left that place when they fired at Schultz.
But he doesn't have any integrity and he doesn't have any decency.
And you know who does?
Aaron Matei does.
That's why he wins awards for his fucking reporting and not from other pricks either.
Now he doesn't win an Emmy from other fucking jagoffs on TV, okay?
Because Emmys are fucking worthless.
You know what an Emmy is?
It's like getting a blowjob for getting a hand job.
That's what an Emmy is, okay?
It's fucking worthless and they're just backslapping bullshit from other assholes.
That's all that is.
Okay.
There's also cynicism in everybody.
Where's the decency, Chris?
Where does he put the decency when he does that tweet?
Where did he put it?
Well, he suppresses it, of course.
Oh, he's suppressed.
But he has it.
Well, I'm just saying generally, I believe there's decency in everybody.
Different institutions and circumstances promote different aspects of our human nature.
That's all I wanted to say about that.
No, You got it.
You'll bump into Chris Hayes at the convention or something, and so he won't take a swing at you.
But because he is tall.
He's much taller than I thought he was.
Anyway, so we'll just end it there.
We've talked enough.
I don't want to go back to Rachel's horrible fuckingness and show it again because it just makes me upset.
This makes me upset.
This makes me upset.
Chris Hayes should be drawing.
He should be putting the stockades in public squares.
Isn't that what they used to do?
They'd put you in a stockades.
What did they do?
Yeah, yeah.
Yep.
Yeah.
He should talk about P-Tape.
He should definitely, somebody should urinate on him for this.
Definitely.
He's definitely got a golden shower coming for this because I bet you anybody.
Now, this is now, this is total speculation, but I'm going to guess Chris Hayes is a scat muncher.
I bet it he fucking munches scats.
Okay.
All right.
Jimmy.
I shouldn't have asked that.
I shouldn't have asked that question.
I shouldn't have asked that question.
Do you think what I just said is worse than what he said?
Do I think we no, I don't think we know it's not.
It fucking, in fact, it's not.
It's not worse than what he said.
What he said is worse than what I said.
I endorse it.
I know you don't endorse it.
I know you do.
You're a real journalist.
I'm a comedian.
Of course you don't endorse it.
Everyone knows you don't endorse the shit I say.
You don't have to.
Because I know you don't agree with the shit I say, but that's the freedom I allow myself.
Do you know that Max Blumenthal moment?
I had that moment.
Remember that moment you had with him when he said, I don't want to be on MSNBC and the light went off.
I was on Joe Rogan's show the first time, and he was talking about, I forget what it was he was talking about.
And I go, aren't you afraid that people are going to discredit you about this, that you talk about this?
And he goes, discredit me?
He goes, I announced guys fighting in cages.
I smoke the pot.
I'm not a respectable person, Jimmy.
They can't do anything to me.
And I was like, oh my fucking God, that's who I'm supposed to be.
I'm supposed to be you.
That was my whole life's plan.
And somehow I got in this position where I have to worry about what I said.
And ever since then, I've been fucking on this path to not worry about.
And that's why I have to remind myself, I don't want to be in that club.
I couldn't give a fuck what they think.
Their club is corrupt.
Their club is this.
Their club smears people who do journalism well.
That's the club they're in.
So fuck their club.
Fuck CNN and Washington Post and Chris Hayes and almost every, except for the nation, fuck every establishment publication too.
Go ahead.
Well, I just want to say, Jimmy, it's working because you're attracting a lot of followers.
People rely on you now to provide the information they're not getting elsewhere.
And that's, I think, a reflection of the fact that you take people seriously.
You take people's concerns seriously.
And you don't try to botch yourself into this really confining, nullifying partisan box.
And that's why you're reaching people.
You're reaching people on all sides.
I know that even you have people who support Trump or who are conservative, who aren't left-wing like you are, come to you because they at least admire the fact that you're honest and you're honest about your views.
And people are lacking honesty right now.
And so when they can get it, it's really appreciated.
And I think it speaks to why you've been so successful.
Hello.
Look out, world.
It is myself, U.S. Senator Chaz Schumer of the Senate.
Legendary for my hospitality.
Would you like a cookie?

Hey, we don't have time to get to the rest of that phone call in today's radio show.
How do you hear the whole phone call?
You got to get a podcast at today's Jimmy Door show, and you can get a podcast at the Jimmy Dore show for free at iTunes Stitcher or at JimmyDoorComedy.com.
Today's show was written.
That's right, it was written by Frank Conniff, Jim Earl, Ron Placone, Steph Semarano, and Mark Van Landowick.
All the voices today performed by the one and the only, the inimitable Mike McRae, who can be found at mikemcray.com.
That's it for this week.
You be the best you can be, and I'll keep being me.
Don't bring up.
Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't freak out.
Don't freak out.
I'm not getting it.
Don't, don't, don't, don't, bring out.
Don't, you, don't.
Don't freak out.
Do not, do not, do not freak.
Do not freak.
Do not freak out.
