Iran: What Will Trump Do?
President Donald Trump has offered a diplomatic route to resolving the Iran-Israel War, but Iran's leadership would not come to the table. As the war escalates, the U.S. is assessing Iran as a potential nuclear threat. Trump has dusted off the E-48 Doomsday Plane, but was that for show? The administration is tight-lipped while Trump is letting the media run with the "Trump is unpredictable" narrative. Still, what should and what might Trump do amid the two nations' conflict: Step In? Try diplomacy again? Attempt a regime change? I want to talk about Iran.
There's a lot going on in Iran right now.
I think President Trump is trying to decide whether he wants to join in the bombing of Iran with Israel.
What's at issue is that there are these very deep, under-mountain facilities built by Iran to enrich uranium.
And these are bunker busting, perhaps resistant.
I'm not even sure the bunker busting.
And so, you know, they were trying to decide, and our intelligence agencies and Israel's are trying to decide what it would take to knock these facilities out.
Because if these facilities remain, Israel's concerned that Iran could easily get back to making a bomb.
And so the whole point of the war is, evidently, To make sure that Iran cannot make a bomb.
Now, the other confusion in the war, which is becoming, you know, the more of these things get debated, the more chance there is for people to raise issues.
And so, the idea, there's a New York Times article that Iran will make a nuke if Ferdow or Khomeini are attacked.
Okay, so essentially, there's a pushback here to the war.
Even Steve Bannon is pushing back, saying that, you know, we could turn Iran into another Libya, where, under Hillary Clinton, we attacked and killed Gaddafi in Libya, and it sent Libya into chaos, because there was no leadership, and a bunch of tribes took over and began to terrorize the country with these radical Islamic militia.
And Libya is still destabilized with that, and of course, you know, there's attempts to get Libya back on track, and I think it's doable, but again, the concern is Iran will go into the same kind of chaos.
Now, the trouble is that Iran is a theocratic, dictatorial regime.
It's autocratic.
It's ruled by a group of clerics.
Who, since Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, have imposed this rigid religious government tyranny upon the Iranian people.
The Iranian people, back into the 1950s, 60s, were quite modern, quite advanced in terms of Middle Eastern countries.
But when Ayatollah Khomeini returned in 1979 from exile, he came in from France.
And he took over and there was an Iranian radical Islamic revolution.
Shah of Iran was thrown out.
Jimmy Carter did not help the Shah of Iran.
Jimmy Carter was actually in favor of Ayatollah Khomeini until he seized our U.S. Embassy personnel and kept them hostage for 444 days, which ended up destroying Jimmy Carter's presidency.
That, among other things, including wearing a cardigan in the White House and saying that we were running out of oil, all had to turn down our temperature, the thermostats, or we would not be able to have enough oil to sustain our modern industrial state.
So Jimmy Carter was another fossil fuel nutcase who thought oil comes from dinosaurs or plankton or some other living thing.
Oil is a natural product of the earth.
It's abiotic.
I've been writing books about this for years.
Okay, now the whole issue of what Trump is going to do is, of course, major concern, because do we want to get involved in another war in the Middle East?
They have not been very busy, and we are at a quandary here as to what's the best route.
Okay, so Chris, why don't you come on and we'll discuss this for a minute.
Let's figure out if there's a clip we can play.
That would be good.
It looks like there's a clip somewhere here, but let's come on and I want to ask you to get into a discussion about this.
What we have here is, I'm looking at the Newsmax articles.
This is not a clip, more or less.
It's kind of a news story from them.
It goes rather a little long here.
It's a discussion interview, if you will.
But the question is, should we get involved between Israel and Iran?
First off, I'm pretty sure Donald Trump still wants to use diplomacy.
But both him and Netanyahu said, hey, they had the chance before.
And even so, Netanyahu talked to reporters yesterday and said that Iran strung Trump along.
And said, you don't string that guy along.
Trump is pulling out all the steps to scare Iran right now.
At least that's what I'm seeing at this point.
I don't know whether he's trying to scare Iran or it's just a quandary over what to do.
I think Trump would like Iran to come back to the negotiating table and just give up its nuclear program.
Now, the problem is that's not going to happen.
It's never going to happen.
It's never going to happen.
Iran will lie and cheat and steal and buy time and try to survive.
But that's also documented, Dr. Corsi.
They're allowed to lie to us in any negotiation and tell us what we want to hear because we're infidels.
And this was all warned to us back in the 19th century by John Quincy Adams.
Yes, well, again, the quandary as to whether to go to war or not is a very difficult issue.
And I think war doesn't really solve any problems.
You've got the idea that, you know, if Iran's going to make a nuclear weapon and drop it on Tel Aviv, what else are you going to do?
And that's what Iran has been saying they want to do since 1979, destroy the modern Jewish state as we know it.
Now, also, there were attacks yesterday where Khamenei, the Ayatollah, is supposedly in a bunker, you know, in hiding.
And again, there's no confirmation as to whether he was killed or not killed.
But the airstrikes are continuing.
Israel continues to strike.
And Trump's saying he's going to decide within the next two weeks.
Well, it's magic.
This war going to go on for another two weeks.
I mean, I don't think...
First of all, I don't see Iran launching continuous missile attacks.
I think Iran has largely spent its missile attacks to, of course, Military intelligence in Israel says there's a 70% chance in a massive barrage of missiles that one of the two nuclear warheads would get through and destroy Tel Aviv.
So that seems to suggest that there'll be a massive Israeli attack, and possibly with the United States, if we thought that it was likely that Iran was going to have two weapons that they were going to use this way.
Because you certainly can't take any risk that Tel Aviv is going to be destroyed.
So that's kind of the game of nuclear chicken that we're playing right now.
And, of course, the Israeli media is reporting that a nuclear scientist was killed in a Tehran strike.
I think there's been a lot of the senior leadership in Iran who have been killed and decapitating the leadership in Iran because the reality is that Israel has for years been penetrating the military, the Revolutionary Guard, the scientific community in Iran with agents.
So, Chris, I'm sure Trump is in a quandary as to what to do.
And the major thing we don't want to do is...
But don't stay and occupy Iran.
Because, again, that's what we had the problem with in Iraq.
We had the problem in Afghanistan.
These prolonged occupations don't work.
We can't nation-build.
We cannot.
It doesn't work.
Right.
We can give people the means to do so, but the fact is no matter what happens, the Nothing that we've done in the Middle East has worked.
The Middle East is still a mess.
Now, the only thing that has a chance of working is the Abraham Accords and trying to build peace through prosperity, which is Trump's fundamental idea.
That's why he doesn't want to go to war.
He doesn't want to be a wartime president.
But at the same time, how do you end the Ukrainian war and how do you make sure that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon to destroy Israel?
Those are the two problems.
I think you end the Ukrainian war by simply cutting off the money.
Quit funding Ukraine.
and quit funding Zelensky, quit supplying them with material on war...
Without money, this corrupt government will go away.
That ends the war.
So, these two wars have the potential of dragging on, which they've continued to do, and I don't think we can have a prolonged war.
I think over time, pretty quickly, Israel will have destroyed Iran to a large extent, bombing out the oil, destroying Iran's ability to make money, and then at the same time, systematically taking out all the military targets and all the infrastructure targets.
So Israel's complete control of the airspace over Iran, and Iran does not have an air force.
They've got missiles.
Now also we have these secret Chinese cargo planes coming into Iran.
They were detected yesterday, and nobody knows why that's happening.
So again, we're in a quandary here as to what exactly the situation is with the next steps to be taken.
And I think one way or the other we have to make sure that Israel is secure.
And so therefore, if there's a potential of having two nuclear weapons, we have to do a preemptive strike, again, to try to incapacitate Iran's ability to launch missiles.
And I'm sure that's what's going on right now.
But at the moment, this war is kind of in limbo until we know precisely what the United States is going to do.
And I think Trump is deciding that.
My guess is Trump will ultimately side with Israel if the intelligence suggests that there are two nuclear weapons and that we do need to have a strike in order to preserve Tel Aviv.
Trump will preserve the modern Jewish state as we know it.
He will.
But at the same time, you've got Tucker Carlson.
We discussed that yesterday.
You've got Steve Bannon.
You've got the mainstream media doing everything to be anti-Trump and make confusion and saying, you know, why are we here?
Are we going to join?
Are we not going to join?
Whichever way Trump goes, the mainstream media will turn against him and say it was the wrong thing to do.
So Trump needs not to worry about what the mainstream media is going to say.
He needs to evaluate what's the best choice for the United States and for Israel, and I think he'll do that.
Chris, any final comments before we move on?
I believe Trump right now is playing the media.
Like you're saying, the media will make sure that whatever Trump does, they'll report it as the wrong thing to do.
He made the improper move.
But the media right now is acting like Trump is going to do something crazy, where Trump's a mystery, he's a loose cannon, this sort of thing, or will he step in?
He's using this and telling them, hey, Trump's a mystery.
And I believe that's an interesting public relations tactic that Iran is probably worried about right now.
Well, I think Iran right at the moment is in a difficult position because it doesn't have a strong military.
It only has missiles.
It has no real way of attacking Israel.
And we're in a situation where the war is going to have kind of a stalemate period of time in which Israel has won massively, but yet we don't have a conclusion to it.
And while there's this uncertainty about whether there's a weapon or not, that's going to remain the case.
Okay, let's move on from this.
I think we're just going to have to wait a little while longer and see what develops.
But I think, you know, Trump and Netanyahu are in charge, are in communication.
Russia and China are supporting Iran.
But I don't see the war expanding at the moment until we get over this last stage about So I think this whole thing is a ruse, and I believe that the war in the next, I'd say, 48 hours is going to get clarified.
And Trump will make a decision sooner than in two weeks, one way or the other.
If it takes two weeks, then there's no nuclear weapon.
that's my conclusion but again I expect a lot of speculation.
And we're certainly in end days.
It's all kind of end days problems right now we're dealing with.
And sort of the war between Israel and Iran, Ezekiel 37, 38, with missile attacks going on in the Middle East.
Ezekiel ends up with, in the end, God intervenes.
And I think at some point or other, With what's going on worldwide right now, we're on the edge of a European collapse.
The two stories that are developing, number one is, again, it's clearly the case that it's the United States that supports NATO.
NATO is broke.
It doesn't have any ability to support itself right now.
And that story is coming out.
And with what's going on in the Red Sea, the Straits of Hormuz, Again, which are getting attacked.
We have oil containers, oil ships colliding.
Oil prices are going to skyrocket for the winter, and that's also going to throw the Europeans into more economic crisis.
And the oil prices are...
I think on this Friday we could use a little comic relief.
So let's go to the Oregon House where the black transvestites are acting up.
Let's see what this is about.
It's quite an interesting clip.
Okay, so in the Oregon House, they're playing music and you've got black transgenders, transvestites, dancing and performing.
Okay, the video's a little bit rocky here, but they're dancing and they're acting up.
I mean, this is in the Oregon House of Representatives.
The opening ceremonies.
And they've got this giant black male transgender doing a leg split on the floor.
And another one screaming and dancing with a costume of one kind or another.
Okay, so we're reduced now to our Oregon State Legislature.
Oregon's just a mess.
Oregon is probably the most woke state in the country.
In Portland, Oregon, which I used to live in.
It used to be a beautiful city.
And now it's just a freak show city.
Downtown used to be a wonderful little downtown.
Very beautiful.
You walk around it safely and good restaurants.
But now the city's been largely destroyed by the riots going back to 2020.
Statues have been defaced and destroyed.
And what do we have here, Chris?
This is another...
All I just happened to have a Portland riot.
The other day.
There's a Portland riot for the other day.
It's downtown Portland.
I guess they're throwing firecrackers or whatever.
The police with shields and the tear gas.
It's just chaos.
I used to live not very far from there.
I lived in the Portland Plaza.
We had a very tall...
It was a beautiful place.
But you can look down now and just see the streets in chaos.
And this destroys the downtown.
And so these Democratic cities are just becoming incredibly unmanageable.
And there's no indication whatsoever that the Democratic governors or mayors seem to be able to do anything about it.
There's a couple other stories I want to cover.
It's being reported that we've had a million, kind of fewer, Illegal immigrants in the country since Trump took office.
Well, that's pretty remarkable.
I mean, it's self-deporting.
And it's remarkable to me that it's going on because all it took was Trump saying, we're going to close the border and we're going to have the imposition of, you know, if you stay here and you're caught, you're not coming back.
So the illegal alien population is down 1 million since Trump took office.
Well, that's pretty remarkable.
It's the first time, I think, maybe in decades that we've had negative immigration, a reduction in the number of illegal immigrants.
Okay, so the decline in the middle was called by a drop-off of the number of immigrants.
And now we're getting the actions of deportation, which are being resisted in the cities.
And it's just gaining steam.
I mean, the Department of Homeland Security has yet to get all of its personnel confirmed.
And so we're still in this kind of in-between period where we don't have full active agencies and anywhere in the government.
And the legacy employees are still there, the legacy bureaucrats.
So right now, the Trump presidency is in a period of transition where the resistance of the courts, the resistance of the bureaucracy is there and noticeable.
But it's going to lose.
It's the same thing with the European Union.
The European Union is economically weak.
It could not put an army in the field to support Ukraine.
The Ukrainian war...
We're not willing to go to war, a nuclear war, to get Russia out of these two provinces that are Russian-speaking in the eastern part of Ukraine that Russia occupies.
So you're not going to dislodge Russia.
It's not going to happen.
And at the same time, we're seeing what's going on in Iran is very comparable to what's going on in Gaza, and it's going to be a systematic destruction of this regime.
A systematic taking away the money of the regime.
And it's not going to be the terror master it was under Obama and John Kerry when Iran was getting all the help and all the money they needed to be producing Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthi rebels in Yemen, Syria in disarray.
All these things have been largely reduced in terms of their threat to Israel.
Since Israel invaded Gaza, and Israel also decapitated the leadership of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Syria has gone through a revolution, but again, we're seeing the Houthi rebels, which Trump attacked very strongly, are also not able to launch the kind of disorder they did in the Red Sea and in the Straits of Hormuz.
So the world's in chaos right now, but it's a chaos transitioning out of the darkness and the evil that we saw in the Obama-Biden era.
Certainly we're backing away from the corruption of the Clintons, and I think we're going to see some investigations gaining steam, which I'm planning to engage in right now, looking at ActBlue and looking at all the Democratic funding mechanisms.
That have fueled this hate America insanity over the last few years.
Okay, I want to focus again on the economics here.
Gold continues to trade over $3,300 an ounce.
It's at $3,345 an ounce.
And silver is at $36 an ounce.
And again, we don't have a stable stock market.
The stock market is in disarray.
And we're in a situation right now where we're fundamentally in between.
And I expect what I'm encouraging people to do is talk to Swiss America because, in fact, you need to get self-directed IRAs where you can buy some gold and silver.
The dollar is not in good shape.
We've got $37 trillion in debt.
We're paying over a trillion dollars a year in debt service, and Powell at the Federal Reserve will not lower interest rates, so our refinancing charges remain very high.
The United States has already suffered a downgrade.
If you go to Swiss America, and I'm going to give you the 800 number, I'm imploring you to talk to Swiss America, because I think that you'll find that it's consultative selling.
The 800 number is 1-800-519-6268.
1-800-519-6268.
Okay, so as we go into the weekend here, I think we're seeing progress in pushing back the evil.
Certainly, the EU in disarray does not, I think that's positive.
It's not a workable entity.
And again, the EU has suppressed freedoms.
We've seen this all across Europe.
We've seen it in the UK.
And the turmoil in the Middle East is at least preserving Israel right now and pushing back the forces of radical Islamic terrorism.
But it's going to take a war to do that.
And in Ukraine, we're seeing again the forces of corruption that were Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
The problem is that we've had so much corruption, so much massive corruption.
All the money Joe Biden has taken and his son taken from Russia, from China, from Ukraine.
The massive corruption is going to take some time to clean out.
But if we focus on what we're doing right now with supporting Trump, I believe we're taking steps That look chaotic, but are yet moving in the right direction.
That's kind of the point I want to make, is that to get from where we were, the massive corruption of the Obama-Clinton years, to where we'd like to be, where we restore American values and have America first as our goal and emphasis, is going to take a period of chaos in order to push back the evil.
And I don't see any alternative to it.
It's uncomfortable, but I think it's yet in the right direction.
Chris, any final comments before we wrap up?
It looks like you're right.
We're hoping to go in the right direction.
It looks like we are.
And you're right.
I thought about what you said a little bit earlier.
If we don't see anything in a couple of weeks as far as out of Iran or anything, let's just say any more advances coming out of them, it's likely they don't have a nuclear weapon yet.
But let's not count them out as far as the future is concerned because we really should.
Well, once this war has started, it's got to come to an end.
And it's got to come to an end, I think, in regime change, ultimately.
And so, therefore, we are advancing in all these cases.
The Ukrainian war has got to end with Russia winning.
And Zelensky's got to fall.
The EU is going to be in economic disarray.
And we're going to have a massive credit crisis coming in the fall.
Especially if oil prices now skyrocket as a result of all the turmoil in the Middle East.
And Israel is clearly winning in the war with Iran, but yet it's in midpoint and there's no final resolution of it in terms of whether there's going to be regime change or not.
I think there probably has to be regime change once this is starting.
And I think that it would be good to get rid of the mullahs if we can do that once and for all.
If we're going to go through this kind of a period of time, let's at least come out of it at the end with a better situation than we were before the chaos started.
That's where I'm at with it.
And I hope the prospect is, I believe, you know, in the end, God always wins.
God's going to win here too.
I just, you know, the threat of thermonuclear war.
It's never been more real, I think, in my lifetime.
Certainly, even the Cuban Missile Crisis, this now, everywhere you look, there's a situation that could, you know, Israel could turn into a thermonuclear war.
Ukraine could.
There's too many possibilities right now.
But, again, fundamentally, these battles need to be fought, and I'm glad we're fighting them.
That's where I'm kind of concluding.
So, Dr. Jerome Corsi, thank you for joining us.
CorsiNation.com.
In the end, God always wins, and I'm imploring you not only to handle your own financial situation, get some gold and silver, but additionally, get on our knees in the Spirit of 2 Chronicles 7.14 and ask God to forgive us for letting the world get to this point.
What that verse says is God will hear our prayer and heal our land.
I think it does take divine intervention.
And I'm hopeful that God will hear our prayer and will heal our land.
