There's quite a bit in the news today.
To begin with, I want to cover a couple of very interesting stories.
The New York Times, which is usually completely, deeply woke and gone to the left over the ledge, today is actually having a story, an editorial written by a law professor that makes clear that the prosecution by the District Attorney Bragg in New York is completely over the top.
And it's ridiculous to, when you take a look at the arguments, this is a guest essay that's in the New York Times today, and it was written by a professor, S-H-U-G-E-R-M-A-N, Sugarman, law professor at Boston University.
And he said about a year ago when Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, indicted Donald Trump, I was critical of the case and called it an embarrassment.
I thought an array of legal problems that would lead to long delays in the federal courts.
After listening to Monday's opening statement by prosecutors, I still think
the Manhattan DA has made a historic mistake. That's quite a statement from the New York Times.
The vague allegation about a criminal scheme to corrupt the 2016 presidential elections has me
more concerned than ever about their unprecedented use of state law
and their persistent avoidance of specifying an election crime or valid theory of fraud.
Okay, so the cases about Trump saying he falsified business records, now those are misdemeanor charges.
But Bragg wants to make them criminal charges, so he's saying that they are violations of federal election law and state tax fraud.
Now, it's a technical case in terms of law, but felony charges require the defendant made these false records with the intent to defraud.
And these internal business records, again, have been questioned over and over again.
And Donald Trump appears to have satisfied banks.
He paid off loans.
The banks were unhappy.
Buildings increased in value.
And now this hush money, this Stormy Daniels, it's not illegal to pay hush money.
So they're trying to argue a cover-up.
In a recent conversation with Jeffrey Cohen, a friend, a Boston College law professor, former prosecutor, He made Sugarman think the case might be legitimate.
Trump may have falsified internal records before the FEC filing as part of some scheme to defraud.
But, you know, again, this is all very much of a stretch.
It's all lawfare.
It's all claiming that this is a federal election violation somehow or other and attempt to steal the election or defraud the election.
The case is muddled in terms of a legal theory.
So this professor ends up by saying the case is still an embarrassment of prosecutorial ethics and apparent selective prosecution.
In other words, they're singling out Donald Trump because he's Donald Trump.
So, if convicted, Trump can find many other ways to win in the appellate courts.
But if this is the preview of how exaggerated allegations, fuzzy legal theories, persistently unaddressed problems, This, this is a case which highlights how broken our legal system is more than anything else.
It's a waste of time.
You know, the idea that Trump filed these papers that were fraudulent and with the intent to defraud the election is such a stretch.
And the Supreme Court in the arguments on this immunity case, I think the justices were making some very good points about, you know, the argument that Donald Trump is guilty of crimes, therefore he doesn't have immunity.
Well, what about Obama?
What about, you know, the previous presidents that ran this operation Mongoose, you know, which was an attempt to kill Castro that went on Eisenhower and it went on and John Kennedy's presidency.
And again, these are things which are muddy in terms of real legal theories.
You know, there's not election fraud case should be clear.
People vote twice.
People buy votes.
There's all kinds of legal.
Uh, illegal activity can do with regards to election activity and it's pretty clearly defined in the law.
It's not these made up cases, which are just an attempt to keep Trump from being able to run for president.
And I think the, I think the American people are seeing through this.
Now, secondly, there's an article, many articles about all this funding that we're giving Ukraine and.
It's amazing to me how the government here is dysfunctional.
Our Congress is completely dysfunctional.
We have Mike Johnson going across the aisle and buddying up with Chuck Schumer in the Senate and reaching across to Democrats in the House.
And so Joe Biden signed a bill which gives the authority to send weapons.
Biden has drawdown authority now to send weapons to Europe, means he can kind of make it More difficult hamstringing Trump with a rules that will restrict Trump, but liberate Biden to send aid from the White House as he wishes and includes 26.4 billion to Israel, 8.1 billion to Taiwan and 61 billion more of aid to Ukraine.
Now the fact is that the strategy in Ukraine isn't working and The Democrats just continue to send money, more money, more money, more money, more aid.
They want to make a Trump-proof NATO.
We're going to Trump-proof aid for Ukraine.
Okay, so they've already now given all this additional money, and Biden can draw down on it.
And so therefore all this money's gone by the time Trump would be president.
Political reporter that the U S and other Western nations are considering transfer to NATO, a U S led multinational group that coordinates the shipment of weapons to Ukraine.
One of several new proposals that could help maintain the flow of arms to Kiev under a second Donald Trump presidency.
Group was created at the beginning of the war by the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, another genius, and the former Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, who would not deploy troops to put down the insurrection from Antifa in 2020.
So, they want to create mechanisms and structures which are going to, under current law, continue to provide weapons To Ukraine even if Trump takes the presidency.
That's what they're trying to do.
Now the other reports are indicating that there is consideration for putting nuclear weapons in Poland.
Which I think is absolutely insane, because it's an expansion of the presence of our nuclear weapons in the NATO.
And so therefore, Russia's going to take this as extremely provocative.
We're going to see this as a major Reason why Russia is going to consider amping up the war.
So, Russia immediately says that Poland will make itself a priority target if it hosts NATO weapons on its territory.
This is one of the Russian deputy foreign ministers said moves in this direction will not provide greater security for Poland or other nations that host such weapons.
Quote, Moscow considers any expansion of NATO's nuclear sharing arrangement as deeply destabilizing in nature, and in fact, threatening Russia.
These are strong statements.
So that we do have nuclear weapons right now, by the way, in Turkey, in Italy, in Germany.
We've got nuclear weapons in Europe already, and the expansion of nuclear weapons to Poland Is another indication that with Russia expanding nuclear weapons to Belarus, we're edging towards nuclear war.
It's frightening to think that these demons, and I mean satanic demons right now, in control of our government, would actually consider going to a nuclear war over Ukraine.
The reality is that Ukraine has got to cede this territory to Russia.
The only way you're going to get Don Tusk and Don Bass, these two The two provinces in eastern Ukraine, back into control of western Ukraine, which is mostly Nazi, since World War II, neo-Nazi, certainly German allied, whereas the eastern part of Ukraine is allied to Russia.
And this mess starts with Hillary Clinton taking money from Pinochek, an oligarch, in 2013 for the Clinton Foundation.
That was their whole gig.
Of course, that wasn't illegal.
Nobody bothered to prosecute Hillary Clinton or Bill Clinton for running a foundation that didn't follow any of the rules of foundations.
I wrote a book on that called Partners in Crime.
Of course, it was suppressed and censored.
But it was clearly true.
Haiti's saying, where'd all that money go?
You know, Africa's saying, why did the Clinton Foundation send us all these AIDS medicines that didn't work?
Because they were faulty, made in India.
Okay, so the idea of this nuclear weapons expansion underlies the reality that you're not going to get these provinces back from Russia without a NATO war against Russia.
And a NATO war, Putin has said repeatedly, becomes nuclear very quickly.
These tactical nukes are in place, and they would be used when either side faced major losses.
It's easy to just push a button, use some nuclear weapons.
Well, that escalates.
And it's the same now in the Middle East.
We've got the same escalating situation in the Middle East, where you see Israel is now attacking Hezbollah in Lebanon.
And taking out various Hezbollah leaders.
That's an expansion of the war.
We've had already attacks now between Iran and Israel as direct attacks, not proxy.
These are escalations which are edging the war to expand in both theaters, Ukraine and the Middle East.
And we did not have wars of this nature under Trump.
We've had nothing but continuous wars.
I think the two most dangerous things we have in the United States right now are the U.S.
bureaucracy and NATO, because neither one of these is under control.
We've got regulations after regulations after regulations coming out, and the regulations are detrimental across the board.
So just take a look, for instance, at what the EPA, the Environmental Protection Act, is doing now, and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
They just promulgate rules.
There's no legislation here, just rules.
They have some legislation that they're implementing, the Clean Air Act or whatever they decide to hook it towards, just like, you know, Bragg and his lawfare has some law or other in mind, whether or not precedent justifies that.
By the way, Harvey Weinstein's conviction just got overturned.
So he's probably going to be out of prison now for the sexual, this is where the Me Too movement started.
And then the prosecutors there allowed women to testify who weren't related to the initial charges.
So women say, well, Harvey abused me, Harvey abused me.
They built that case against Weinstein in a way that did not follow legal rules.
Lawfare doesn't follow the rules.
It bends them, breaks them, twists them in order to use the law to achieve neo-Marxist purposes.
Okay, so what did the Environmental Protection Agency do?
It released on Thursday rules requiring Coal-flowered plants to install carbon capture technology in order to keep running past 2039.
Requirements begin in 2032.
Now, this technology requires that carbon dioxide emissions from the plant have to be captured, which requires a lot of expensive technology.
The carbon dioxide is put underground into wells for storage.
Another ridiculous idea.
The cost of the EPA demands will be so high that the owners of coal-fired plants will choose to close them rather than invest in the changes.
So, you've got one of the directors of the Wyoming Mining Association who told John Solomon's Just the News, quote, aside, From the obvious impacts of driving up costs while further destabilizing America's already rickety electricity grid by eliminating critical baseload power, the EPA's ill-intentioned and legally questionable rules will seriously impact our state's people in Wyoming, increasing risks of blackout.
The APA's carbon capture rules apply to new natural gas fired plants.
Those that reach at least 40% of their annual capacity will need to implement carbon capture technology in 2032.
So it's going to be coal fired gas and natural gas fired plants and You know, again, the original proposal reached all of these gas-fired plants, but evidently they've scaled that back.
And it's only going to be new natural gas-fired plants that reach 40% of their annual capacity.
They'll need to have carbon capture starting in 2032.
But evidently the existing coal-fired plants, yeah, I'm sorry, existing gas-fired plants are spare to the final rule.
So the EPA, of course, projects up to $370 billion in climate and public health benefits over the next two decades.
But the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, in its long-term and seasonal adjustments, has been warning of increased risks of blackouts, partly due to retirements of coal plants and the increasing reliance on the weather-dependent generation from wind and solar.
It's lunacy.
And so, you know, China has increased its total coal-fired generation by 233 gigawatts, whereas the U.S.
has retired more than 95 coal-derived gigawatts in production.
So we're reducing our coal-fired gigawatts, and China is increasing it.
And what net benefit is there on climate change?
Because China is emitting far more carbon dioxide than we are eliminating.
Again, insanity.
Carbon dioxide is not the Earth's thermostat causing us to be hazardly warm.
This is such nonsense science that it's frustrating to have to report this.
This is climate rules for dummies.
Heck, I mean, it just, it strikes me as insanity that we are getting to this point.
And also, I am increasingly, I mean, Mark Moranow wrote the introduction to my book on the energy, climate change, and global warming, The Truth About Them, which is The Truth About Energy, Climate Change, Global Warming, and its subtitle was Exposing Climate Lies in an Age of Disinformation.
So Murano, Mark Murano, climatedepot.com was on Fox.
He said, you know, our energy agenda, the Biden administration is screw America.
It's the exact opposite of anything that's in the interest of national security.
So on the Joe Piscopo show, Murano was saying that Biden's potential climate emergency declaration is going to move the US to be more like China with one party rule.
It's ridiculous.
And I think the Democrats would be wanting to construct all of these states so that, you know, flooded with illegal immigrants so we'd never have another Trump in office.
We only have more Obamas.
And if Obama's not in office, Obama can put a Joe Biden in office who our special prosecutor says is suffering from senior dementia.
So he can't be prosecuted.
And it's obvious senior dementia.
He's tottering around, bumping into walls, smelling little girls, eating ice cream and speaking incoherently.
This is our president of the United States.
Well, it's obvious the deep state is running things and the deep state is operating now as a counter state.
In other words, a counter state is a Maoist idea where a group of state actors get together, typically in the bureaucracy or in the background, like Obama outside of government, but still making government policy for the president.
Because he has so many people loyal to him in the White House that they are enacting Obama's policies and Biden's just signing paper.
This is a counter state because its goal is to destroy the United States of America.
And so what Marano is saying, I think, is extremely important here and that we are at risk of having a massive, a massive detriment to our economy through all of this insane climate change policy.
And Biden could, before he's out of the presidency, Obama could declare a climate emergency.
And then they would have the powers under the World Health Organization's new rules, which they're going to implement in May, of saying the World Health Organization can do a lockdown in the United States because of a climate emergency.
In other words, we've got a completely fake idea, which is going to shut down energy in the United States and lock down the country again.
And we're allowing these rules to be put in place by international organizations, the World Health Organization.
The Sovereignty Coalition is fighting this, trying to go by state by state.
Frank Gaffney's organized that, and they're trying to get the states to say the states will not comply with climate change rules made by the World Health Organization.
In the meantime, the economy continues to falter.
We're seeing signs of the stock market getting ready to take a major correction.
I've been warning about this now for four months because I think we're seeing we're right on the verge of having a stock market collapse.
We take a look at some of the We've got issues here.
We're seeing that the federal government is only continuing to spend money.
We're spending hundreds of millions of dollars keeping the economy propped up by spending, not by economic growth, not by actual real economic activity.
That's the problem is if we cut off the millions and billions of dollars that we are spending increasingly with deficit spending, this economy would collapse.
It would collapse fast.
And the entire nature of just spending money with the federal government deficit spends in order to prop up the economy through an election is insanity.
Okay.
So, but don't worry about that because Obama and Biden are going to hold a June fundraising event with George Clooney and other Hollywood liberals.
They'll raise more money to keep Joe Biden in office.
And the anti-Zionist protesters, the anti-Semitic protesters at New York University now are swarming New York Police Department chief and his officers.
They're actually doing everything they can To expand these protests out of the university into the cities.
And New York University is really in the city.
It's right in the middle of Greenwich Village.
And so therefore, a video that went viral shows just how out of control it can get.
It's from Monday night when police descended on NYU and arrested dozens of students and even some of the professors after the students pelted police with bottles and hit an officer with a chair.
And of course, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that these are more peaceful protests.
The video showed NYPD Assistant Chief James McCarthy and a few officers with a person in custody surrounded by radical protesters as they tried to get inside the New York University Catholic Center.
The protesters surrounded the police, screamed at them, cursed at them, demanded they let the person go, even reaching and trying to grab the prisoner away, and they were screaming obscenities.
These protests are going to expand.
In 2020, we had the George Floyd Black Lives Matter protest.
This year, it's going to be anti-Semitic protests supporting the Hamas, with the Palestinian people being the Palestinian genocide.
That's what they're going to accuse the Jews of committing.
None of the truth about the Palestinians are going to be told.
They never really had a country.
It was under the British protectorate for years.
When Israel was created in 1948, Israel did not demand that the Muslims leave.
Many of them, most of them stayed.
In fact, can still vote in Israel, can be in the Knesset, Israel's parliament.
The Palestinians were thrown out of Jordan, they were thrown out of Egypt, they were thrown out of Lebanon, and this is a group of people that have been exploited by Yasser Arafat, then by the Palestinian Authority, and now by Hamas, which moved in and took over Gaza a few years ago as a gang, as a terrorist gang.
It's Muslim Brotherhood.
It's Egyptian in origin.
This is not a Palestinian movement.
Okay, Palestine is Israel, and they're fighting over who has legitimate right to Israel, which goes back 3,000 years.
You'll never settle that one.
So in the middle of all this chaos, in the middle of all this military spending, and all of this deficit spending, which the military can now, you know, build weapons with, and it can be stolen, weapons can be sold and traded by Ukraine.
Ukraine is notoriously corrupt.
Zelensky's, I'm sure, enriching himself.
And what's happening is that gold is increasing tremendously in value.

Okay, let's cover some more stories here today.
I'm extremely concerned that these new missiles and weapons that we're giving to Ukraine are simply going to end up being used by Ukraine to do long-range strikes in Russia.
Okay, so we have now the NATO announcing that, in fact, here's one of the head of the UK military, Admiral Sir Tony Radican, and the war drums are beating.
So, Britain announced its single largest aid package for Ukraine, which is the equivalent of $620 million to £500 million.
According to the UK NATO officials, the arms include the Storm Shadow Missile, among a total of 1,600 strike and air defense missiles, 4 million rounds of ammo, 60 boats, and 400 vehicles.
Okay, the the White House has been busy calculating That Russia is likely to gain more on the front lines.
I'm expecting that Russia will make a serious effort to take Kiev in the next few months.
Okay, so the whole idea that you're going to be able to get these new longer-range missiles and strike into Russia to inflict damage on Russia, even attacking Russian energy facilities.
So if Ukraine is going to launch these attacks, With this influx of Western military aid, giving Russia the weapons capability of doing so.
Sir Tony Radican acknowledged this whole downbeat mood surrounding Ukraine's defense in an interview he gave with the Financial Times.
He admitted that Ukraine was facing a difficult fight to repel Russian forces, but still Radekin, who's a key figure in the West's military support for Kiev, stressed that such a gloomy snapshot of the war failed to recognize longer trends more in Kiev's favor.
Well, wishing and hoping doesn't make it so.
So, Bradican is saying, as Ukraine gains more capabilities for the long-range fight, its ability to continue deep operations into Russia will increasingly become a feature of the war.
And he emphasized new weapons systems they are definitely will have an effect.
UK leadership has been putting the country's Britain's defense industry on a war footing in preparation to support Kiev for the long haul.
This is all bad news.
This means that Ukraine is now going to strike into Russia and Putin is going to interpret this as the proxy war expanding by weapons to become a direct war between NATO and Russia.
As NATO is a dying organization that's outlived its purpose.
Russia is not announcing intents to expand into Poland or take over Eastern Europe as it did after World War II.
I mean, this is insanity.
Yet, the left is convinced, the left has hated Russia since the fall of the Berlin Wall, when Russia renounced communism.
And since 1917, the revolution, the Democratic Party has been enamored with communism.
And now it is a communist party.
Democratic Party is a neo-Marxist Maoist party, woke to the core.
And this woke nonsense is insanity.
You know, we don't know what gender, we don't know what a woman is.
Because we don't know what her gender is.
She might be having an animal sexual inclination.
Okay, now Russia's also begun to recover a lot of the money that was seized.
Russia's gotten a legal justification here to get $440 million from JPMorgan.
Russia's court has ordered the seizure of $440 million that JPMorgan has been holding in sanctions against Russia.
They can hold stock and cash that Russia is legitimately Russians because of sanctions imposed on Russia.
Russia can't use the SWIFT system.
By the way, the SWIFT system doesn't work.
It's broke.
Let's try transferring some money into Europe and see how much fun it is.
So J.P.
Morgan faced its certain and irreparable harm.
You want to pay anybody, anything in Europe, cryptocurrency is going to be the way of the future.
And this whole SWIFT system is outmoded.
Russia is developing its own international transfer of funds systems, which will ultimately undermine the United States reserve currency status, which will further deepen the United States and economic problems.
The nature of what we're seeing in the world is more and more chaos, more and more descent into madness.
And if we continue down this trend, we will have a nuclear war.
In the meantime, while this ESG and DEI and all these other things are being pushed, What's the truth is that the European exchange traded funds, you know, mutual funds in Europe exchange traded, uh, the ESG investing this energy, um, social and governance is, um, which means environmental investing companies that are green.
I don't know what's green about energy.
They make this, this again is perversion of language.
It makes it sound fuzzy.
ESG investing is seeing a substantial outflow of funds and a decline in the inflow, according to the Financial Times.
These ESG funds are seeing a massive 13.8 billion euro outflow in the final three months of 2023.
Uh, ESG is a bad idea in investing.
Investing is to get gains, not for social purposes.
And if you're investing for social purposes and you are sacrificing the maximum gains you can get, uh, then you are, you are in a process of undermining investment.
