Today is Wednesday, it's August 23rd, 2023.
Our first story is about this meeting of the BRICS nations, which is going on right now
in South Africa.
Yesterday, the 22nd, was the First day of their meeting, the inaugural day, they took this family portrait of the five leaders of the five countries, of course.
Putin's not there.
Putin is under threat of arrest by this international court.
So he's basically decided he'll participate by remote participation.
And they had their initial speeches.
Putin's was probably the most dramatic.
Putin emphasized that there was an objective and irreversible process of the dollar's receding global importance.
Until recently, the dollar has been central to the international trade.
It controls about 80% of international trade, because after the Bretton Woods Agreement, which
occurred in 1944 towards the end of World War II, the United Nations, preparing to win the war
and go into a post-war situation, decided they would use the dollar as the world's
reserve currency.
In other words, they would trade internationally by going from a local currency into the dollar, pass the dollars to the other country, that country would then take the dollars and pass them into their local currency.
They would keep the dollar as a reserve in order to facilitate international trade.
That made the dollar extremely strong.
But recently, with the weakening of the dollar by the debasement of the dollar, with as much as we are having right now of inflation going on, and I don't think the inflation's stoppable, because this much printing of the money on a fiat currency, 1944 the currency was gold-based.
It had a certain value.
You couldn't, after Franklin Roosevelt, you couldn't redeem it for gold anymore, but it still had a gold-based value.
And gold was at $35 an ounce.
And that had been held there by a central bank agreement for a long time.
Now today, gold is at about $2,000 an ounce, and that's because the currency has become fiat and gold has been worth a lot more in terms of dollars.
But everything is worth a lot more in terms of dollars.
$20 bought you a lot of groceries 20 years ago.
Today, $20 at the supermarket doesn't buy you very much at all.
Barely buys you a carton of milk anymore and a loaf of bread.
So the process of dollar decentralization, de-dollarization they're calling it, these BRICS nations, Russia, China, India, Brazil, and South Africa, They account for 31% of the global economy and 30% of the G7.
And one of the issues in front of the BRICS countries at this meeting is whether or not they're going to expand.
And by the way, Xi Jinping, the president of China, did not give a speech.
He skipped his speech.
I'm not sure why.
Again, that's pretty interesting to me because, again, I would have expected him to take this opportunity.
China is under massive attempt at economic collapse.
And they're overextended in terms of their banking.
They're suffering major real estate losses across the board.
And China could easily have an economic collapse.
Western Europe is also now officially in recession.
The world is going into what I've warned about in this new book.

All right, so we're gonna follow these brick nations very carefully, because I think they're gonna be, this is a dramatic movement, and it's going to have major, major impacts.
I want to cover my second story.
These really two go together.
Finally, I'm seeing increasing evidence that despite all the billions of dollars we've given in this military aid, Ukraine is dramatically losing the counteroffensive.
And the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal are announcing this.
As they announce it with stories, they're preparing the field for the narrative to change.
In other words, they know we're losing this war.
They know that it was a lie from the beginning, that this was all something that was concocted in 2013, 2014, with Hillary Clinton taking money from Pinochet, who was an oligarch in Ukraine, who wanted to see NATO expand into Ukraine, who's going to make billions of dollars.
Hillary got on the agenda.
The left has hated Russia.
Since Russia denounced communism when the Berlin Wall fell.
And so, therefore, the State Department was on getting rid of Yanukovych, who was a duly elected president of Ukraine at the time, but he was favorable to Russia.
And so the Maidan rebellion in 2014, Ukraine deposed Yanukovych, and that was funded by the State Department, which was the same people behind the impeachment, and I'll cover that in a minute, but the point was that They wanted to expand NATO right to the borders of Russia, which is a very aggressive move, which Russia is not going to tolerate.
Now Russia controls, and what they're saying and changing this narrative is they're saying basically that the Ukraine army is not fighting very well, it's not being managed very well.
And they're saying, you know, Politico has chimed in saying it's the next major mainstream media consensus it'll be Trump's fault if the Ukrainians lose.
Looking ahead to a possible 2024 victory and return to the White House, Politico sets up Trump to take the fall in the following, and this is kind of what they are saying, the sense of the Ukrainians Um, need to take the initiative at home, both by, um, scoring the global arms, uh, bizarre high tech, getting all this military equipment is, um, this is really, they're just saying it's just Donald Trump trying to return to the White House.
And that's why it's failing because Donald Trump is not going to support the war.
And other Republican candidates have highlighted Ukrainian fears that the next U.S.
president could sell their growing democracy to the Kremlin.
So it's all Trump's fault because he's running for election and therefore the Ukrainians are failing because they think the United States support will not be there if Trump is president.
That's going to be the new theme.
And Fox is on board too, saying, with the possibility of Trump, the current GOP, front-runner returning to office after the 2024 election, Ukrainians are preparing for reduced war weapons supplies from the United States.
More than 100 companies are among the Ukrainian arms producer, actively working to acquire mostly Chinese-made drone parts.
From middlemen or third countries, as Beijing has said, it halted all direct sales of weapons to both Kiev and Moscow forces.
So the American public's being told ahead of time who to blame for what's increasingly looking to be like the inevitable rout of Ukrainian forces, despite the entirety of all this tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer money being spent by Biden Defining our foreign policy as expanding NATO into the border of Russia.
So all of this is going to be a blame Trump effort, but the Ukrainians are losing.
Russia is not going to renounce the territory it's gained.
It's gained territory in Donbass, which is the eastern part of Ukraine close to Russia.
Russia controls the seacoast along the Black Sea, including Sevastopol, the great port,
military naval port for Russia, and controlling Crimea.
Russia is now blocking any exports by Ukraine of grain through the Black Sea.
Russia's in control.
And there really is nothing that we can do.
The arms dealers have had their payday, just like the COVID gave the pharmaceutical companies
And by the way, there's increasing evidence that there are plans for this new variant of COVID, this ARIS or whatever they call it.
They're gonna try another lockdown and COVID probably in the fall.
This is again, you know, redo 2024, the 2020 election.
You get a COVID lockdown, you get mail-in ballots in the Democrats' harvest, a Democratic win, because mailing ballots in the way they did in 2020 is a clear formula for rigging an election.
That's obvious to anybody who's got half a brain.
These trials, I listened to John Eastman's comments as he was being arraigned yesterday, and he's one of the attorneys who supported Donald Trump on the accusation of a false election, and he's going to litigate the fact that the election in Georgia in 2020 was illegitimate.
They've got good evidence on this, and I don't think they can prevent the defense from defending themselves on the ground that the allegations that made about rigged elections by Donald Trump in 2022 were not insurrection, but they were legitimate and legal and perfectly acceptable challenges under the First Amendment that Donald Trump had a right to make.
And I think that's going to be a very, very interesting case as it develops the, I think, John Smith overextended.
And now he's given Donald Trump and Sidney Powell and the others a platform on which they can litigate in public.
The press won't cover it.
But lots of others will.
The attempt to say that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
And I think people are waking up.
I don't think there's going to be nearly the compliance.
COVID itself was a bad flu.
People die every year from the flu.
We did not have the Millions of deaths from COVID that were projected in these outlandish predictions that got Donald Trump to impose the lockdown.
And I think Donald Trump was a fool for doing that.
Listening to Fauci and the others, he should have questioned it.
It's one of the massive mistakes Donald Trump made in his first term.
Hopefully he learned his lesson from doing that.
Chris, you want to comment on all this?
I think these are really important developments that we need to follow.
Another potential development is a report out of NTD News, the NTD Good Morning News, that is, today, stating that there's a potential, or at least Trump's allies predict, that Arizona is going to be the next state to try to indict Donald Trump.
At this point, the swing states in question, if you will, from the 2020 election, are the ones that are, possibly aside from Pennsylvania at this point, are the ones that are jumping after Trump.
They had nothing to hide.
Well, this gives Trump a big platform.
And clearly, Trump and the others, these are highly competent attorneys and they're going to defend themselves.
And this is a lawfare attempt to ban Trump from running in 2024.
The left is deathly afraid of Donald Trump.
And they want to criminalize the legal process in the United States, use it to criminalize legitimate political opposition.
It's outrageous that Biden, who I think is mentally incompetent, he's obviously diminished capabilities, his performance in Maui was disgraceful.
Oh, it was more than that.
It was embarrassing, and he tried to make a joke, like you were discussing yesterday.
It was terrible.
He doesn't have any charm.
His aviator glasses are wearing thin.
then. Right. Right. You know, Joe Biden, the, you know, working class Joe, the bomber Biden
is a complete failure as president.
He's probably the worst president the United States has ever had.
And I didn't think for a long time anybody could beat Jimmy Carter on that capacity, but Biden has demonstrated it is possible.
Just put someone with diminished mental, who, why, how possibly could any country choose to have a diminished mental capacity president, obviously mentally diminished, obviously suffering from some kind or other senile disorder.
And he's president of the United States, with control over the nuclear weapons of this country.
Obviously, someone else is running the country, and the obvious candidate is Obama, with Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett.
Obama stayed in Washington.
There's Kalamara, a trendy section of Washington where he bought a house.
Most presidents have left Washington at the end of the term and gone back to their home states.
Not Obama.
And Maui is increasingly being demonstrated to have been a failure of the Greens, you know, this environmental global warming community that prevented the effective management of Maui as a potential fire hazard that was known to be a fire hazard for a long time.
But the measures to control the fire hazard, just like in the wildfires that occur in California, are natural processes of forestry management.
The attempt, the failure to engage in forestry management, because we wouldn't want to cut down a tree, you know, tree huggers.
So, these are self-inflicted wounds of the left, which they then use to blame on climate change.
It's people I think are seeing through these lying narratives and when you see the results of what these people want you to do, eat bugs and be happy, you're not going to be able to eat any meat, you're going to have to have electric cars that don't really work, you're going to be limited to 15-minute cities, all these things are What the Democrats' vision of the future is, is a dystopian future that no one really wants to live in except for the insane left.

First off, insane left is redundant.
That's number one, but I think you know that.
The other idea is if you look at Maui, Their emergency management administration director had to resign because, again, into the pile of ignorance out of the state as far as managing the forest and everything else, this guy didn't use the sirens to warn people about the fires coming in.
The problem with politicians is they put incompetent people, thanks to patronage, into these important positions they cannot handle, and probably the appointers pray that these people aren't exposed.
Well, this is horrible.
Lives were lost.
Property was lost.
And it's worse than it could have been.
Well, children were burned, and they didn't die.
I mean, this is a disgrace.
The sirens could have saved lives.
And the narrative is, this guy had some health problems, so he had to resign.
Come on, we see through all of this.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, let's go to the next story.
This is being reported on Just the News, John Solomon's website.
So we've got new memos now coming out in the Freedom of Information Act that show that these Biden-Ukraine narrative.
The Democrats used 2019 in the impeachment scandal.
They lied.
No big surprise that they lied.
But this is targeting a couple of the officials who were most vocal in the senior officials in the impeachment process.
Uh, that came out and were saying essentially that Hunter Biden was not affecting the anti-corruption investigations that were going on in Ukraine.
Now, what was going on at that time was that Biden said essentially that he, unless this prosecutor Shogun, Shogun was fired because he was, Shogun was conducting a very thorough anti-corruption investigation in Burisma Holdings, which was the natural gas company that was paying Hunter Biden.
And Joe Biden said that a billion dollars in USAID would be withheld unless Shogun was fired and Shogun was fired.
Well, now memos which were attained so that the senior state department officials were communicating to Shogun and that they were admitting and knowing that the exposure of Hunter Biden's corruption was in fact hampering the efforts of Shogun to investigate corruption with Burisma.
So in private classified email shared with just the news, it was now declassified, U.S.
officials in the Kiev embassy told Ambassador Maria Jovanovich, she was one of the people who was testifying against Trump in the impeachment hearing, at the end of the Obama administration that Hunter Biden had in fact impacted the U.S.
anti-corruption agenda in Ukraine.
And so the real issue in my mind is that someone in Washington needed to engage Vice President Biden quietly
and say that his son Hunter's presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption
message the vice president and we were advancing in Ukraine because
Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behaviors with the family association with a known
corrupt figure Whose company was known for not playing by the rules. This
was Embassy official George Kent wrote to Yovanovitch in
November 22nd 2016 email marked confidential Now this Yovanovitch and Kent were two of the big
Testimony given to giving testimony the impeachment hearing saying that Trump by asking for an investigation
What was going on with with he was at a phone call?
Asked president Zelensky what was happening with Biden the anti-corruption investigation
They impeached Trump because he dared to ask that question, which I think he had a legitimate right to ask.
They said, oh, this was in fact, this was Trump's attempt to go after his political opponent in the 2020 election for 2019.
Well, clearly the Democrats are now doing to Trump, prosecuting him and trying to impeach him.
Where all Trump did was ask a question.
The Democrats are trying to influence the election and are trying to criminalize their opponent.
Whereas Trump was just asking a question about legitimate corruption.
And now we have emails showing that the State Department knew there was corruption.
They were embarrassed by what Hunter Biden was doing.
This Biden family crime network.
Was obvious even in 2019 when Biden was vice president.
So the duplicity, the hypocrisy, and the lying of the Democratic Party is obvious.
I want to combine that with what Jonathan Turley is saying.
Because Jonathan Turley, I think, has another very important analysis out there.
What Turley is saying is this lawfare.
Lawfare is a using the law on the left to destroy the law.
By rereading interpretations of the law to go after conservatives.
So, the current idea in the 14th Amendment, which was an amendment to the Constitution that was passed after the Civil War, and it was really, this particular provision was aimed at going against rebels, against people who had actually committed civil war, insurrection against the United States in an attempt to create the Confederacy.
The 14th Amendment had a provision which said that anyone who was a public officeholder had taken federal oaths, it would be prevented from assuming office again if they engaged in insurrection or rebellion.
So they're saying Donald Trump, since he was president and is being charged under the Espionage Act, In the federal case against him from Jack Smith, which is a subversion crime.
It's not about classified documents.
It's about actual espionage or sabotage against the United States.
Under this provision of the 14th Amendment, he can't run for president again if he's convicted.
And what Jonathan Turley is saying is that Democrats have pushed this theory about the 14th Amendment as a way of disqualifying not only Trump, but a dozen members of Congress whom they don't want seated.
For some, it's the ultimate Hail Mary pass if four indictments and roughly a hundred criminal charges and more than a dozen opposing candidates fail to get the job done.
I have strongly rejected this interpretation for years.
It is too late to pretend that I view this as a plausible argument.
However, some serious and smart people take an equally strong position in support of the theory.
Indeed, conservative scholars William Baude and Michael Stokes have argued for the interpretation and insist, in a recent Law Review article, that the case is not even close.
All who are committed to the Constitution should take note and say no.
Some of us like to believe that we are committed to the Constitution, and for that same reason, we say no.
Well, a great respect for these academics.
I fail to see how the text, history, or purpose of the 14th Amendment even remotely favors barring Trump from being president, even if he were convicted under the Espionage Act.
The truth is, you can run for president.
If indicted, you can run for president in jail.
Eugene Debs did so after he was convicted, I believe, in 1917 during World War I for a speech he gave in Dayton, Ohio, under the Espionage Act of 1917.
He was viewed as a saboteur, undermining the World War I effort by his speech.
And I thought that was a, I mean, as I studied that, I thought that was another abomination, a twisting of the law that shouldn't have been done.
And Deb's got a million votes as running for president from jail.
Trump could do the same.
Trump could win the election from jail.
He could be president in prison.
That's possible under the Constitution.
Chris, your thoughts?
It's interesting to note that this lawfare against Trump, as we discuss now, might on the surface just go after him.
You're right.
Dr. Turley is looking a lot deeper and saying, The Democrats are going to try to use this to prevent other people from running in the future as long as they subscribe to wrong think or put something that they don't like on social media or they go on a news show or some kind of program and slip up and say something.
The thing is the left knows that thanks to the fact that they will be defended in the media and they own a lot of the media and they've infiltrated a lot of the mainstream media that they will be protected where people on the right And this is one of the reasons why a lot of these guys don't have a spine and they don't want to do anything in Congress, is because they make one misstep where they say something that is possibly, possibly what one would call racist or anti-this or that, and all of a sudden they're condemned, the media goes after them, other politicians feel licensed to find a way, and with this, if this is successful, and it's a long shot, the idea is to use this in the future to say, hey, well now we can take you and
And not allow you to run for office in the future.
Or we can litigate the heck out of you when you try to run and embarrass you into dropping out.
That's a long game.
Well, the whole idea of criminalizing politics is dictatorial.
It's a totalitarian idea.
Right.
And Stalin or Mao took their political opponents and killed them.
And that ended that.
And still, Putin has done much of the same thing.
And it can be argued it's been done here, too.
It can be argued.
Well, Jack Kennedy's a good example.
I'm writing a book on it right now.
It should be out before the end of the year.
And the point is that if we go in this direction, we're headed down the path to slavery.
And it's time to resist it now, on the constitutional basis, and to argue it, because this has got to be won in the minds of people, not in the streets.
We don't win this argument by occupying Congress.
We win this argument by prayer and thoughtful argument.
The truth is what this is all about.
That's why the books I'm writing are all the truth about.
This is the fundamental only way we can win.
The only way we can beat Neo-Marxism, cultural Maoism, and anarchy, we're headed towards anarchy, is by the truth.
The only way we can beat the climate movement, you know, about energy, global warming, and climate change, the only way we can expose these climate lies is with the truth.
And, you know, biblically, we're advised that lies are exposed Nothing can be hidden permanently, and it's the truth that sets you free.
And I believe that's the commitment we've got to make to God in order to recover this situation.
Now, I want to cover this final article because this, I think, pulls together the theme today.
On this last article is the increasing evidence that we're getting that this Tonga, which was a massive underwater volcanic eruption, And it was not reported, it was inconvenient to the left to report Tonga because you had a volcano that sent a plume, enormous plume of water vapor into the Earth's stratosphere and it pumped more than 58,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water vapor into the upper atmosphere.
Now water vapor is 70% of all greenhouse gases.
Carbon dioxide is 0.04% of all molecules in the atmosphere.
It's a minor effect on global warming compared to water vapor.
Dumping this much, and you can see the picture of this massive explosion, which was monitored from space.
Probably the largest underwater volcanic eruption ever recorded.
And with this much water vapor thrown into the atmosphere, this much global warming agent thrown into the atmosphere, it's gonna have a temporary effect on the Earth warming up a little bit, because it's more greenhouse gas.
So when we have a warm summer, there's compounding factors.
Number one, Sun Cycle 25, which we're in, is warmer than Sun Cycle 24.
Earth is burning a little hotter.
Historically, we're still in a slowdown of the Earth's burning, but we're now more intense than we were in the last Sun cycle.
Secondly, we have the reemergence of El Nino, which is this warm current that comes up into the Pacific, and that's causing warmer temperatures in the United States.
And we have this Tonga explosion.
At the same time, and it's warmer this summer, But not historically the worst.
1930s were worse.
It's over 600 million years.
There's less carbon dioxide today in the atmosphere than there was 600 million years ago.
We've had ice ages.
We'll have ice ages again.
Global warming.
Carbon dioxide increases following the Earth's warming.
It's tree food.
We get more trees.
We're in a great glacial warming period.
We should be happy.
We exhale carbon dioxide.
We're not killing ourselves.
And in fact, we should be happy that we're in this period because it's more prosperous, much better than being in an ice age.
So all these factors expose the Democrats' lies.
Their science is faulty.
Their rhetoric is aimed at control.
Their depopulationist movement.
They're anti-people.
They're anti-freedom.
And we have to oppose this.
And we're getting a historic challenge that will be litigated in the courts
and in the election in 2024.
And at the same time, the Biden administration is angling for another COVID lockdown
on the basis of a variation, which is probably not worse than the average flu season.
Flu season was basically erased by COVID because they counted everything as COVID.
And I think we're going to also see an attempt for a climate
lockdown, a climate emergency.
I think the American people are getting sick and tired of this.
And this restriction on freedom on the basis of emergency powers of the president is fundamentally unconstitutional.
And our Congress, which is corrupt and bought, Mitch McConnell, his wife is Chinese, worth billions of dollars in China, that family in China wouldn't be allowed to live under the Communist Party's rule unless Mitch McConnell was doing exactly what the Communist Party in China wants him to do.
We've lost to corruption.
The Biden administration is corruption.
We're seeing that now in Ukraine.
We're fighting a war that's enriching arms dealers, just like we dealt with COVID to give a fortune to the pharmaceutical companies.
I think the American people are getting tired of the corruption.
We don't have to fight wars to make arms dealers rich.
Wars we shouldn't have fought in the first place.
Chris, any final comments before we wrap up?
I am definitely worried about the idea they're going to try to cause or at least force some lockdowns on us.
I am encouraged by the number of people on social media who are saying, we're not going to allow this to happen.
We're going to defy this.
This is why we have a Constitution.
This is why the Founding Fathers set the government up the way it was, to serve the people, instead of oppress the people.
On the other hand, there's a new mentality, saying, well, whatever the government says is right, and if they tell us to do something, we say, thank you, sir, may I have another?
That's the mentality amongst, let's say, the blind followers, if you will.
But it is encouraging to see some of them even moving over and saying, I'm not going to wear a mask everywhere I go.
I don't need this other booster.
I see young people dying, and we're not even sure why.
Let's hold off on this, and I'm not going to comply with another lockdown.
While there are many that do, it's their right to do so.
The rest of us, we have to work.
We have to go about our lives, and we're not going to be stuck with another devastation to our economy and our lives ever again.
Well, in the end, God always wins.
And God will win here too.
But what it's going to take is, I want millions to join me in getting down on my knees and asking God's forgiveness for allowing God to be taken out of the schools, out of the public square, statues of Satan put in place of the Ten Commandments.
It's a disgrace.
And so many babies, millions, killed in the womb.
God's creation being slaughtered by demons and abortionists who are absolutely vicious, cutting babies apart with surgical tools in the womb to kill them.
It's horrendous.
And it's a violation of God's law.
In the end, God will win.
I just pray that We, in the spirit of 2 Chronicles 7, 14, that God will hear our prayers, hear our begging for forgiveness, grant us grace, and heal our land.
