Thank you for joining us at TheTruthCentral.com.
This is Dr. Jerome Corse, and today is July 7, 2023, Friday.
Thank you for joining us at thetruthcentral.com.
Let's cover some economic stories first.
I want to stress here the fact that we are dealing with economic situations that are, I think, intensifying.
For the worse.
And it's going to happen pretty quickly.
So, in fact, I think it's already happening.
First story I want to cover is this moving out of California.
There's actually a great migration going on right now within the United States.
Millions of people are leaving where they live and saying, I'm going to get out of here.
And people are leaving the democratic states and the democratic cities.
So, summer is a time when, you know, millions of Americans do relocate, but it's exceptional this year.
Conservatives are moving to the red states and liberals are moving to the blue states as the country gets more polarized.
And there is a feeling, a constantly feeling, that we are entering end times.
This is a story from Michael Snyder, whose book is End Times, and I've been following him.
And he has a website called the EconomicCollapseBlog.com.
EconomicCollapseBlog.com.
And I think he's basically right.
They're saying that one party controls the entire legislature in all but two states.
In 28 states, the party in control is a supermajority in at least one chamber, which means the majority party has so many lawmakers that they can override a governor's veto.
Not that that would be necessary in most cases, as only 10 states have governors of different parties than the one that controls the legislature.
So you're really getting a polarization here.
Where there are leftist states, leftist cities, and anyone conservative, anyone who basically believes in God, is moving out.
So California, for instance, hundreds of thousands of people have been leaving California.
More than 500,000 people left California between April 2020 and July 2022.
And a lot of them have gone to Texas.
So there's about 300 Californians moving to the state of Texas on a daily basis.
That was happening in 2021.
So you're finding that these blue states, which I think will largely be bankrupt, are going to also be largely unsafe.
So what Michael Snyder is covering is saying in the wealthiest areas of San Francisco, a gang of children wielding baseball bats It's been ruthlessly assaulting nannies and their young mothers to steal their phones.
This is remarkable.
The kinds of violence, random violence, you're having in the cities.
Over the July 4th weekend, 150 Americans were gunned down.
400 shootings over the July 4th across the country.
Homelessness in Los Angeles skyrocketed over the last year, increasing by 10% in LA County and 9% in the city, leaving more than 75,000 people living in the streets of the County of Los Angeles, which is a epic setback for local leaders.
Well, you know, again, the policies you have here of these leftist progressive, you know, defund the police, Let's not enforce the drug laws.
We don't need families.
We can have all kinds of sexes.
Transgender, you name it, sex.
These are insane policies, and what happens is, if they get implemented like they're getting implemented, they produce chaos.
They produce anarchy and chaos.
And I know left doesn't want to admit that, but that's the case.
And two more stories, then Chris, I'm gonna ask you to comment.
This one I thought was also pretty startling.
$1 trillion.
Americans have burned through 1.76 trillion in savings since 2020.
Americans' peak savings reached a peak, a height of 2.3 trillion between 20 and 21.
Today the number is down to $533 billion, according to new numbers from the U.S.
Department of Congress and Wells Fargo.
And so that's a dramatic decrease.
Federal Reserve economic data shows the amount of personal savings as a percentage of disposable income dropped to 4.6% in May of this year.
That's well below the historical average of 8.9%.
What's happening is Americans are having to go through their spending at increased rates to sustain the standard of living that they have because of inflation.
And there is not the same keeping up of wages with the amount of inflation we're experiencing.
The Biden administration keeps saying that we are increasing jobs.
Well, a lot of the jobs we're increasing are jobs that are second jobs for people who now have to have two jobs in order to support themselves and their families.
So again, the jobs that are being created are not the well, high-paying jobs, not the secure jobs.
And California, of course, is saying, let's raise the minimum raise to $25 an hour.
Another progressive policy which will only induce more unemployment.
And again, be ruinous to the state.
Also, the state loses tax revenues as the economic base of the city, like Los Angeles or San Francisco, gets stressed.
The third story here, which is that pawn shop, this really surprised me.
I saw this on Zero Hedge this morning, but cash-strapped Americans are panic-searching pawn shop near me.
That was one of the Google searches, or search engines, and the trend seems to have been at a record high starting in the beginning of July, and the ominous sign that the consumer may be pawning items or selling things that were bought during the COVID boom, and now they want to raise money in order to sustain their standard of living, or to get by.
And they're saying perhaps Bytonomics is not working.
Well, it is not working.
People have endured more than two years of negative real wage growth, been depleting savings and sending record amounts of credit card debt, which I've been reporting on.
And again, credit card debt is over a trillion dollars.
So, these are all signs of a economy that's already in a recession.
And one that people don't want to acknowledge is we say things look normal.
Well, we can still buy something at the grocery store.
Although people are making choices to go to lesser quality foods or to, you know, different cuts of beef, different types of meat if they can afford meat.
And we're in a, this is intentional.
We are having the Federal Reserve now increasing interest rates in order to cause a recession.
It's the only way they can control inflation.
And inflation is not right now demand driven.
It's not because the economy is heating up.
The inflation is because the Biden administration continues to print money.
So we are now at $33 trillion in national debt, which is up from the George W. Bush era where it was about, you know, it was around 10 trillion.
I mean, this has been a dramatic increase of our national debt in a short period of time.
And it is completely out of control.
Congress just recently, when they eliminated the debt ceiling for two years, we're not going to have a debt ceiling for two years.
So the administration is just free to spend without limit.
And they will.
Billions being sent to Ukraine.
And now I'm seeing that, you know, their arms supplies in the United States and other NATO countries are wearing down because we're sending all this weaponry to Ukraine.
Well, that's only gonna be a fortune being made by the arms dealers.
So first, big pharmacy got a payday, COVID, and now we're gonna give the arms dealers a big payday with the war escalating in Ukraine.
And there's stories today coming out that Ukraine, those who are in there, are remaining in Ukraine, are poverty-stricken because there's no economy.
They're dependent entirely on aid.
There's no electricity, there's no gas, there's no water in a lot of these cities, and yet we're being told that this counter-offensive is succeeding, and I don't see any great signs of success.
I think Russia is on the verge of deciding what NATO is going to do.
When NATO decides on Ukraine, Russia is going to decide if that war is going to escalate.
We start sending in more advanced weapons, Russia has already signaled they'll just take out Kiev, take out all the command structures within the country, and be on the precipice of nuclear war.
threatening that if NATO is serious about this and wants to double down, I think Putin's ready
to double down. So with all these signs we're seeing of global economic slowdown and the tensions,
the Ukraine, I'm pointing to Iran, which looks like it'll get a new agreement from the Biden
I think the Biden administration is caving in on every of these world crises, siding with the wrong factors.
If Iran and Russia decide that they're going to go to take US troops out of Syria, This will give Iran complete control, land control, directly over to Lebanon.
They'll be able to supply Hezbollah in Lebanon with weaponry to a greater extent to attack Israel.
You've got also in Hamas, which is happily being funded by Iran.
So the West Bank has gotten to be more violent than ever.
And we're finding that these are issues which are escalating.
Taiwan, China any day could attack Taiwan.
And Blinken's already said, our great Secretary of State, that it is not any longer in our national interest to preserve the sovereignty of Taiwan.
Well, if that isn't a clear signal for war, I don't know what is.
But meanwhile, we have Hunter Biden doing cocaine in the White House.
And these clips of him on July 4th are being widely shown.
We've now got cocaine in the White House.
Of course, the Secret Service can't figure out whose it is, you know.
It's pretty obvious whose it is, and yet they can track down the January 6th People are protesting in the Capitol.
And, you know, France, they can track down people with their cell phones.
You mean you can't track down people who are in the White House, where every square inch of the place is under surveillance?
Constantly?
So, you know, Hunter Biden is the obvious candidate, and he's on film.
You think anybody's going to do anything about it?
I don't.
Chris, what do you make of all this?
Same here, I was watching Corinne Jean-Pierre actually subtly float the idea that a visitor may have dropped the cocaine there.
Again, it's a possibility, anything's a possibility, but I don't see it either.
I see it was brought in, obviously a certain family member was most likely the suspect, but again, Proof has to be there.
Second thing, you did bring up an interesting point.
It seemed to be very easy to find people who were protesting on the right side, whether it be January 6th or beforehand, find ways to take pictures of them and get them fired from their jobs or shame them on social media.
On the other hand, it hasn't been very easy to get the Epstein Black Book or the Epstein client list released when we know people have it.
It hasn't been very easy to find out what's going on, of course, with the White House and the cocaine and, of course, anything else that might make the, let's say, current administration and past related ones of the same party look bad.
It's a situation, I think, that people see the chaos.
And the chaos starts with the national leadership.
How can you have someone who is obviously suffering from some form of senior dementia be president of the United States?
I mean, this is pathetic.
We haven't had a mentally incapacitated president suffering a stroke, for instance, with Woodrow Wilson and his wife ran the country for a while.
We're supposed to be able to have decisions made in the White House by the President, not by some shadow Obama group that lurks in the background and is making the calls.
I've been warning since 2008, when I wrote The Obama Nation, that these people were radically committed neo-Marxists And they understood cultural Maoism, which is to have a war on the culture, and that we've been at this since the 1950s with, you know, the early communists, going back to the 30s, saying that they were going to go after the youth, they were going to get God out of the schools, going to get God out of the public square, and they were going to launch a sexual revolution.
That was the 1960s when you had the Frankfurt School, Herbert Marcuse writing Eros and Civilization, encouraging that unbridled sex was the solution to happiness.
These are godless concepts, and they're destructive concepts, and they were intended to be destructive, because the goal was to destroy America as a modern industrial state, to bring us down, and we are in the process of being intentionally deconstructed, where the middle class is being squeezed and destroyed, and in another 10 years there won't be a middle class.
This is a disruption, intentional disruption of a society.
And since the post-war period, the only thing that has kept this earth world safe has been a strong America.
And it has not been that war free, and it has not been that safe.
But when America loses its ability to be free, first of all, and when secondly, The families are destroyed, and America is now—our military, I think, would do better running a transgender parade down Fifth Avenue than they would be fighting a war.
Chris, what do you think?
It's, again, the idea is they're trying to take over through social shaming, through social credit scores and things like that.
I was reading another article on a school district in California where they suspended two students for, quote, misgendering a student.
And since we joked about every time a new administration comes in, the other side says, well, it's going to be 1984 all over again.
We joked about that for several of the last few decades.
Problem is we have it now.
We actually have thought crimes in America.
In fact, um, Just yesterday, the Biden administration decided that they're going to challenge the Louisiana court's ruling for the federal, excuse me, the federal court's ruling in Louisiana, saying that the government or government officials could not contact social media accounts or social media companies to suspend accounts and curtail speech.
Well, they say they're fighting disinformation.
Uh-huh.
They're disseminating disinformation.
They're fighting information.
That's what they're doing.
Well, free speech is intended to be raucous.
On the Supreme Court decisions coming out of the World War I era, which is where a lot of the modern theory, the legal theory on free speech developed, basically said that you have to tolerate speech you don't want to hear.
Justice Brandeis, Justice Holmes wrote some brilliant decisions, Whitney v. California, Which was a Brandeis decision, and Brandeis said basically that the only speech you could curtail is extremely close to giving information to the enemy about troop movements.
In other words, the danger has to be serious and imminent.
If someone just says, I think we ought to have a revolution, and there's no chance it could ever happen, or the person's just advocating an idea, we have to tolerate that.
Was it Geraldo Rivera that did that?
Who was the guy that did that during the Operation Desert Storm?
I don't remember that.
I think it was Rivera.
They were embedded reporters, and one of them, I think it was Rivera, designed troop movements, or what one of the strategies were.
Yes, I believe I do now recall what you're talking about.
But see, again, the point was that In the 1917 Espionage Act, I wrote my dissertation at Harvard on this.
This was the subject I was looking at, prior restraint, prior punishment, and political dissent.
How could you block someone who was going to give a speech, or from giving that speech, or from publishing something that you consider just so dangerous it couldn't be published?
And of course the Pentagon Papers decision, which allowed with Daniel Ellsberg, who just died, to have the Pentagon Papers published by the New York Times and the Washington Post, said again that this is an open society that has to have this type of information, and since the Times and the Post did not steal the information, Ellsberg may have stolen, that may have been a crime, But the Times and the Post were free to publish it.
Now, we have Julian Assange in prison.
Again, we're violating the fundamental spirit of the First Amendment by saying that we need to avoid disinformation.
And anything we don't agree with is a conspiracy theorist, or a conspiracy theory.
I've been called a conspiracy theorist for 25 years because they don't want to face the truth.
And conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory ends up being the truth, gets admitted later, When it's too late, because the anti-truth, this disinformation, you know, the truth fact-checking, is really suppression of the truth.
And that's what makes this society so dangerous.
Once you have censorship, and the Supreme Court decision, I think, is going to have to come down eventually on these issues.
Because this case from Louisiana is going to get challenged, and the Biden administration wants the right to tell these social media companies to ban and shadow ban and otherwise censor any views they don't want.
If we have Pravda, which is the Russian, Pravda in Russian means truth, which is a big joke, because all it published was what the government wanted people to believe, and governments lie.
Governments lie all the time.
So, we are in a very desperate state in all these issues, and it seriously concerns me.
The next story, there is a strategist, his name is Deval Joshi, J-O-S-H-I, Joshi, of the BCA Research.
He predicted the last recession.
He's saying right now we are already in A global downturn.
He's saying that it appears that we are already experiencing.
It's not when we're going to have a debate.
It's that we are in a debate already.
The global economy is in recession because global domestic growth GDP, gross domestic product, the economic growth globally is only 1.2%.
And that's data from Oxford Economics.
Anything less than 2% is considered a global recession.
And we are already in a global recession.
People say, oh, isn't it great, Bidenomics is working, gasoline costs less.
Gasoline costs less because the international economy is slowing down, and the demand for hydrocarbon fuels is less.
And hydrocarbon fuels are abundant, as I've been saying repeatedly, and that's why, in fact, you see OPEC trying to restrict supply in order to keep price up.
But China has 20% unemployment rate for young people.
And that's going to be a problem.
The European youth unemployment is 13.9%.
United States, we have over a hundred million people who are just considered the working age, but they're considered out of the job force.
So our job numbers are garbage.
A lot of people who are simply given up looking for jobs are not counted.
And the jobs that are being created are often not particularly good, high-paying jobs.
So, I think we are already in a global recession.
I've been calling this now for months.
I've written this book.
Chris, we can show it on the cover, on the coming global crash causing, and it will cause a historic gold rush.
This will begin to happen.
There's the book.
And take a look at it.
You can listen to the interview I did with Dean Heskin at Swiss America.
Do please support our sponsors.
Do try to get some gold.
I think the dollar is going to be dramatically decreasing, and it's not going to reverse anytime near soon.
One more story I want to cover, and I want to cover it in some depth today, and that is the story about what the Supreme Court has done, and It's amazing to me, when I really take a look at this, just how this most recent decision on affirmative action, and there's an article written looking at the progressive judges and what they have done, how they decided.
This was written by Peter Zane, Z-A-N-E.
Published in Real Clear Politics, it's also posted on American Greatness.
Now, what he was saying is that, let's take a look at what, in this affirmative action case, what Sotomayor and this Ketanji Brown-Jackson How they attack the majority decision.
The majority decision in this case said that you can't use race as a criteria to determine who gets into higher education.
It basically violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment because you're using race in order to provide a preferential status for African Americans.
John, this was the idea in the Civil Rights Movement that to redress the inequality that goes back to slavery, that we need to give now special advantage to blacks in order to balance the situation.
Well, that's a bad idea.
It led to school busing and other things.
The Brown v. Board of Education decision, 1954, which said that segregated schools were inherently unequal.
Started busing to make black kids go to white schools, white kids go to black schools.
It was a disaster.
Parents hated it.
The kids hated it.
And so these solutions of the left architects are themselves inherently racist.
What Martin Luther King was saying was, let's have a colorblind society.
What these people are saying is, no, we are a racist society.
Now the whole argument has moved away from what Martin Luther King wanted, which was equal opportunity.
Now we are into demanding not only equal rights, but preferential rights for blacks.
We want reparations.
And under the critical race theory, whites are evil.
Because we are racist.
The Constitution is a slavery document.
We've had a whole generation now indoctrinated to hate America.
And this is the most destructive, and it was intended to be destructive.
I'm trying to get that point across, that the spending the Biden administration is doing, they know it's going to be destructive.
But again, these entitlement programs, Medicare, they want to have Medicare for everyone.
Well, sure.
But the idea is not affordable.
It's not fundable.
In Great Britain, the dissatisfaction with the national health system has never been as high as it is today.
Because you can't get an appointment.
Sure, your care is free, you just can't get any.
Okay, so what Sotomayor is saying is the other.
She said, this court stands in the way and rolls back decades of precedent and momentous progress.
So she's asserting that the majority was cementing a superficial rule of colorblindness as a constitutional principle in an endemic, segregated society where race has always mattered and continues to matter.
These people want to perpetuate racism.
They perpetuate the breakup of black families, which they don't discuss.
They perpetuate the education, which, again, is not common among the black culture.
The homelessness, the drugs, the breakup of the family.
I've been arguing these issues for decades.
I've been writing about it.
Going back to the Moynihan Report in the 60s, where Moynihan, who became a senator, was an advisor to Lyndon Johnson.
He said, essentially, if you, this aid to families with dependent children, if you put that program in place, you are going to encourage black families to break up in order to get the money.
And that's what happened.
The breakup of the black family was, and the black families were very, very much religious.
Black churches were a bedrock in the black communities.
It got it through the Depression and World War II.
So Jackson, our new woman on the court, we can't tell you who a woman is, 350 years ago, the Negro was dragged to this country in
chains to be sold into slavery, uprooted from his homeland, and thrust into the bondage.
Forced labor, the slave was deprived of all legal rights. After emancipation, white Americans
opposed a series of racist customs and laws, including Jim Crow and the redlining to limit
black advancement. What Jackson is saying is that, just to read a little bit more, today, as was true 50
years ago, black homeownership trails white homeownership by approximately 25 percent.
Black Americans in the late 20s are about half as likely as their white counterparts to have college degrees.
As for post-secondary professional arenas, despite being 13% of the population, blacks make up only about 5% of lawyers.
Such disparity also appears in the business realm of roughly 1,800 chief executives, To have appeared on the well-known Fortune 500 list, fewer than 25 have been black.
In 2022, only six are black.
What this indicates is a failure of everything that the left has wanted to do for the last 50 years or longer in civil rights.
The problem is Martin Luther King was right.
You can't have racist solutions To solve the problem, and these solutions which are essentially anti-white.
What about other minorities?
What about the Asians?
Chris, do you want to weigh in on this?
Because I know you've commented before about the disadvantage being given Asians by these policies.
That's another thing.
The admissions policies at Harvard were challenged and struck down by the Supreme Court, what was it, last week.
College turned around and said, we're still going to disobey that order because there is a loophole that was left in there.
However, Asian Americans were, it was not only white Americans, but Asian Americans were squeezed out when it came to these, I'll call them quota policies.
Apparently, to push diversity, diversity really doesn't mean diversity when it comes to equal opportunity.
It means engineering and outcome.
And therein lies a problem.
You're going to have people who are more worthy of a position or more worthy of admission to a college being squeezed out who are not only white, Where you can argue, hey, well, whites did this, whites were getting this all these years, but they happen to be other minorities who are suffering.
Now you're seeing Asian American organizations fighting back against independent companies saying, well, some of our people, or I have representatives who are, or I'm representing people, excuse me, I'm representing people who are not hired over people who are less qualified due to DEI requirements.
This fight's going to be very interesting to watch.
It just seems to me, there's a paragraph, one more paragraph I want to write, read here.
This is Peter Zane, probably Peter Zane, commenting on this and he's saying progressives continue, let's quit calling them progressives, they're neo-Marxists.
Regressives.
Right, continue to double down on failed policies because of ideology.
Their key conceit is that they should run the show because of their self-proclaimed expertise.
There is no problem they can't solve through their top-down interventions.
We know what works, is their mantra.
as it infantilizes, which means makes the population to be infants, especially the racial minorities
they claim to represent, or afford a little personal agency to change their lives.
This hubristic mindset can never emit defeat because that would strike at the heart
of their Neo-Marxist authority.
The program fails, it's only because they were not fully implemented or funded.
And because of emotional opposition from ignorant masses and the conniving of moneyed interests,
is not the facts on the ground, but the vision they embrace.
That's the problem here, is that this neo-Marxist movement has gone post-modernism. Their
idea of facts is their vision of utopia.
Let's reimagine police.
That's what's true.
Let's reimagine a world in which everybody loves each other.
The police are the problem because the police go after racial minorities or the disadvantaged.
Police are there to be enforcement of social order.
If we didn't have the police, we could have everybody rise and it would be kumbaya.
Well, how about the fact that there are criminals amongst us?
How about the fact that there are certain personalities that are going to commit crimes?
And what happens is, once you defund the police and you open up the prisons, is that you increase crime in the cities.
And these leftists don't get it, because that may be a fact.
Maybe the truth.
Or do they get it?
Well, that's the other problem.
They do get it, and they use this to destroy Capitalism, which is the true agenda here.
So the masterminds that get all these progressives to believe they're doing the right thing are really manipulating them in order just to destroy society as it exists, in order they can create their totalitarian system that a few control everyone.
You know, the elites and their machines are in control.
The alt-left.
How about that?
That's what we should call the progressives, the alt-left.
He'll like that.
I've always called them cultural Maoists.
That's what they are.
I like to say far left, but we're telling the truth here.
They're absolutely not progressive.
Progressive means progress.
This is regressive.
If you're talking about a system, Marxism and Maoism, two systems that are abject failures in most countries, even the current ones, to be honest with you.
In all countries.
I can't think of a single country that succeeded with either.
Not even in a storybook for that matter.
I cannot.
This is a regressive policy.
Well, I want to wrap up today and I want to say the only thing I can think of in positive in all this is that God is allowing us to see the evil nature of the left or the evil nature of Satan, the evil nature of a world without God is not going to be a world worth living in.
And the totalitarianism that is capable of being created with the technology we have today has never before been imaginable in human history.
Given where this technology is in the hands of people who do not believe in God, we will have nuclear war.
We'll have mass economic chaos.
It's going to be anarchy.
And there's going to be no alternative to it, except for us to, in the spirit of 2 Chronicles 7, 14, to get down on our knees and ask God to heal our land.
And that's the problem, is that we've got to take responsibility for getting here, and we don't.
We need to, but we don't.
And we've got to beg God In order to get this turned around.
I mean, 2 Chronicles 7.14, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.
That's 2 Chronicles 7.14.
That's where we're at.
And this is the truth central.
So, it doesn't mean we're not necessarily giving a happy talk here, we're giving you the truth.
And as adults, we need to take the truth and understand the truth and proclaim it.
So, I always say, in the end, God always wins, and God will win here too.
Sometimes I Fear what the cost may be with God deciding to pass judgment upon this evil.
And I've decided not to be retired, to come back and to write and broadcast, and I'm writing very aggressively again, in order to proclaim the truth.
I think it's our only solution.
My book's the truth about, it's the truth about energy, global warming, climate change.
Next book will be The Truth About Neo-Marxism, Cultural Maoism, and Anarchy, which is what they produce.
I don't have any great hope that this will necessarily, while I'm writing, or maybe read more when I'm gone, but I feel compelled to write it, I feel compelled to proclaim it.
And I want you to encourage others to listen.
We'll be doing more to get this message out.
Let's wrap this up.
This has been the July 4th week.
