We watch him throughout television, different news broadcasts, commentating on what's happening right now.
And he is here today.
Colonel, welcome back to the Jim Baker Show, sir.
Well, thank you very much.
It's my pleasure.
What is the greatest global threat facing the United States today, would you say?
Well, I look at it in a couple of ways, Pastor.
Certainly, there's no question that China is a global power.
Its Navy is larger than ours.
Its Air Force is about the same.
Many more people under arms.
It's incredibly ambitious.
You know, in my book, Kings of the East, I talk about their long thousands and thousands of years of history about being very hegemonic.
In other words, ambitious.
We have seen the Chinese over the last especially 20 years, more recently as well, to have a major footprint all across Africa, all across South America, certainly, you know, incursions in the southern part of Europe.
And of course, you know, as you'll recall, before President Trump sent in the military to capture Maduro, Maduro, only hours prior, had sat down with, I think it was a dozen Chinese diplomats to basically negotiate activities and economic agreements to do with oil,
to do perhaps with other things that Maduro was involved in.
So the Chinese are a major threat to our interests.
Now, they're an economic threat.
They're a military threat, but they're also an ideological threat because they have inroads in this country through a variety of things like the Confucius institutions in college campuses.
They have managed to manipulate a lot of journalists as well as other key institutions, even in Hollywood, because of their access.
We need to be very concerned about them.
Now, they're a cyber-capable nation.
They've no doubt implanted all sorts of what we call worms or malware within critical infrastructure, electrical grids, water systems, and the like.
And ever since Mao Sedong took over in 1949 to the People's Republic of China, they have been at a low-level war footing against the United States because their ambitions have never been hidden, even up to the time when Richard Nixon went there with Henry Kissinger in 1972.
They had every intention of becoming a global dominant force, a hegemon.
And unfortunately, because of the help that the likes of Bill Clinton gave him through Most Favored Nation and the like in the early 90s, that China is a major capable competitor on many fronts today and something that we should,
you know, we've been naive to a certain degree, but I hope that we're beginning to become far more discerning about the threat that they pose.
So that's a major one.
And of course, I would argue the other side is sort of the ideological side vis-a-vis artificial intelligence.
I don't think most people understand how pervasive this stuff is today.
And it's not only pervasive, in the wrong hands, and it is in the wrong hands, especially in the Chinese hands and the Russians, Iranians, North Koreans, and others.
They're going to fuel in a way transformation of entire societies if we're not careful.
You know, this year, my second and third volume on artificial intelligence will be published.
The first one answers the question: what is artificial intelligence?
The second one coming out, it looks like late April, is the new artificial intelligence Cold War.
And it is indeed a Cold War.
It's just as dangerous, if not far more dangerous, than what we fought with the Soviet Union up until 1990.
And the third one, which is especially important, I think, for Christians, it's the final algorithm.
And what it does, it's saturated with scriptures.
I look at the eschatology, especially from the time of Babel in Genesis 11.
I look at certainly what Daniel wrote about and how Daniel could cope in Babylon, because I think today we live in Babylon to a certain degree.
And the Babylon we live in is inundated with this technology that is so pervasive and so hard for us to wrestle with that it's beginning to dictate even common sense and undermine what Christians must believe in.
And I know the futurists that are pushing this artificial intelligence Talk almost in a salvitic way.
In other words, that it's going to be save us.
They don't talk about Jesus Christ, they talk about artificial intelligence.
And then, of course, they promise eternal life, interestingly, through downloading our souls into electrons.
Now, these things are well published.
I document them, of course.
But I think that Christians need to understand what it is and where it's going and ultimately what the eschatology is.
Because I think that it is just not only fascinating, it is frightening.
I have talked about it on this program that artificial intelligence is a language model that is changing society.
And if you go back and understand that in order to colonize a new nation, the first thing that has to change in order to change the morals, the values, the faith of a nation, they do it through language.
Now, understand what's happening with artificial intelligence.
If artificial intelligence is going to change the morals, the values, and the faith of a nation, they have to do it through a model called language.
And that's what we're seeing take place right now: the language is changing, the language in which we communicate and the language that we use when it comes to talk about wars and rumors of wars.
All of that starts with language.
That's how effective I call it the Pentecostal artificial intelligence movement.
Because if you go back to the book of Acts, there was one moment in time that changed Christianity forever, and that was Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came and they all began to speak different languages.
There's something about language that changes the realm of the spirit, but there's also something that is happening that is changing the face of the earth and is being done through the language model of computer technology that we don't understand.
And if you don't understand language of technology, then you're going to be left outside of the realms of understanding what that looks like for the now and for the future.
But I'm telling you, what Colonel McGinnis is talking about, it is happening right now faster than any other time in history.

Colonel, can I ask you a question?
Are we closer to a major war now than any time since the Cold War?
You know, in spite of the fact that President Trump has done a phenomenal job of ending, you know, wars in Central Asia between Pakistan and India over Kashmir in Eastern Africa, and of course, trying to settle the mess that we have in Ukraine and Russia.
I think that the trend line is more unstable than it has been in the recent past.
Now, we had during the Cold War stability to a certain degree because we had assured destruction of both sides because we were both armed to the teeth with nuclear weapons.
Well, today we have nuclear weapons still, but we have other capabilities to include those that are controlled by artificial means that I would argue makes the decision lines much, much shorter and the consequences of bad decisions much more dire.
So when you put all that together, you come to the conclusion rapidly that, yeah, it is quite possible that we could be trending toward a global war, given the technologies and given the ideological differences and the divisions that we see, not only in this country, but across the world.
And I did want to mention something to follow on with Mondo's idea on languages.
You know, a algorithm today can translate 1,500 languages into your language in just a moment.
What's fascinating and what goes all the way back to Genesis 11, Pastor, is that at that point, of course, they all spoke the same language.
And then, of course, God caused us to be scattered across the earth and speak different languages we didn't understand.
The commonality that AI brings to us today is that AI basically is one language, but it's the programmer's language.
And so those people, the less than 1% of the world population that can program artificial intelligent entities, they communicate amongst themselves.
And that's where the real power is in the future, because so much of the world is being tethered to artificial intelligence.
And so if you understand that very limited population, that language, and you have control over the algorithms and the people are not discerning enough to know that they can't trust these machines, then you really find yourself in very, very troubling situation.
You say that preparing for World War III, you say the prelude has already begun in Ukraine and in the Middle East.
Are we already closer to the global war than most Americans realize?
Well, you know, certainly Vladimir Putin has threatened to use nuclear weapons on many occasions.
Now, I think that's mostly just a threat.
It's to get people's attention.
But he does have a very capable nuclear arsenal.
And I think there are circumstances that he might, in fact, use them.
He's been unwilling, totally unwilling, in spite of the best efforts by President Trump and the Europeans to bring an end to the killing.
And we're talking about maybe a million people have died in Ukraine and Russia and between those countries.
And the devastation of the eastern part of Ukraine is just unfathomable.
It's really destroyed.
So that's indicative of, I think, another notch as to where we might be going.
I think the President Trump's done a great job in Gaza.
I think it was appropriate to do what we did with B-2s over Iran, but now Iran is in a chaotic situation.
We have the USS Abraham Lincoln and its strike force that are in the region after having left the South China Sea.
They're there preparing perhaps to do something to prevent further mass casualties and the massacre of Iranian people.
So you've got chaos there.
And then, of course, the Chinese.
Some of the Chinese, it appears as if over the last few days there's been a coup of sorts amongst some of the most senior military people that were allegedly not aligning themselves appropriately with President Qi.
But at the same time, Qi has pulled all stops out and they've accelerated their intimidation of Taiwan, which of course they consider a breakaway province that will come back under the fold through either persuasion or through the sword.
And so you have those crises and then overlay that with what's going on in outer space, the competition there, the competition for resources on both the Arctic and the Antarctic.
So you have a chaotic situation that is quite frankly very hard to come to grips with.
And so with all this instability, wars and perhaps global wars are not out of the question.

What's the greatest danger Christians should see right now with AI and all?
Well, to become allowing AI to become an idol.
I think that to a large degree, it has already accomplished that.
I mentioned, I think, in the previous program that there are court cases in which young people are basically addicted, like a drug, to various social media, but it's only because of the underlying influence and effectiveness of artificial intelligence that is guiding that and creating that dopamine type effect in the brains of young people.
And they just can't put it down.
And they become overly dependent upon it because it becomes their best friend, their chat bot, which they pour out their heart and their desires and take the advice.
I mean, this stuff is, You talk about not eating sugar, uh, Pastor.
Well, this stuff is terribly addictive, and yet I don't think that most parents, churches, public officials quite appreciate how it can really run off the rails and become very dangerous.
So, that's a that's a real danger for us, I think, at the present time, and it's probably going to accelerate as we surrender more control of you know our workplace, our lives.
Um, I know Elon Musk, interestingly, said that, and this was a couple months ago, that he thinks the requirement for work by the common person is going to go away in a very few years because we're going to be able to depend upon robots to grow the food, to do all the work, and so forth.
Now, I think that's, you know, I don't know if it's meant to be hyperbolic, but I think it's a real stretch to say the least.
However, that's the type of thinking that we have amongst some of these AI elite.
They are almost like prophets of the future doom of the world.
And of course, they're pushing out to try to get to other planets, other galaxies.
They are far from knowing the God that we know.
And that's, you know, it's a theological setting that they are creating.
And they're winning a lot of people to their side, unfortunately.
From a prophetic view, could AI became a total tool of deception in the end times?
It's a tool of deception today.
Obviously, it persuaded a lot of people to do things that, you know, it persuades some young people to do things they'd never do, to include suicide.
And we've had a number of those cases.
It's used by political leaders to persuade people to vote or to vote, not vote, to vote for them or to vote for something else.
It's hard to distinguish between what's real and not real today.
And that has undermined trust and confidence, I think, in our leadership at the national level, as well as the local level.
So when you don't have any trust in what you're seeing and hearing, because AI can create an avatar that sounds just like any of us, that knows our background and can speak like us, looks like us, then we really have some very, very trying times ahead.
And I can't overestimate what the true impact will be.
And that's why I think the church, you know, we need to wake up in a way that perhaps we've never done before, because this stuff is pervasive and very, very influential.
Write this down.
I'm going to give you a prophetic word God gave me for the season that we're entering, and that is discern the times.
Pray for spiritual discernment.
Because I want to tell you something.
That's what separates us Christians from the rest of the world.
Jesus said, it is to your advantage that I go and I leave with you the Holy Spirit.
And I want to tell you something.
The advantage that we have to have discernment is in the power that lies inside of the Holy Spirit.
There is so much deception.
It's a floodgate.
I am concerned that Christians will believe a lie.
Yeah.
Even the very elect will be deceived.
And look what's going on in Minnesota.
Yeah.
They're marching in the street by the hundreds, by thousands.
Yeah.
It's very evil what's going on.
And that's, I'm afraid that's just the beginning of what's to come.
But the flow of the world.
In the end times, people are going to believe a lie.
Absolutely.
And that's why we got to have discernment in understanding what is good, what is evil, even to the practical things of understanding that sugar is evil for you.
It kills you.
