Bishop's Message on Faith and Prosperity 00:15:38
Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show.
Our special guest talks about faith, prosperity, and daily decrees.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega.
And now here is your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, friends.
You're watching the PTL Television Network.
It's exciting.
You have tuned in with us today.
We have day two with Bishop Alan DeDio.
Bishop, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today.
And I want to tell you something.
Today he's going to be talking about faith, prosperity, and daily decrees.
Bishop, explain yourself right away.
Come on, let's just jump right into it.
Can't get any more controversial.
Can't get any more controversial.
I believe it was back in 2014, 2015, the Lord spoke to me and said, pay attention to the doctrines that are maligned, that are criticized, that are mocked, and that are ridiculed.
And pay attention to the doctrines that are taken advantage of or that are used maliciously or for ill-gotten gain.
Pay attention to that.
When you see that, know that is an area where I'm moving.
Don't separate yourself from those things.
Dive into it and begin to teach my people what my word says about those things.
And so when we're talking about this season we're coming into in 2026, we're in a time of warfare.
We are in a time where we are taking our nation back, which is why we've shifted the vision from encounter ministries to revival nation, because we've got to have a hyper focus on bringing America and the church back to Christ.
That's our mission.
That's our vision.
Bringing America and the church back to Christ and equipping end-time believers for the next great awakening.
If we're going to do that, then we've got to make sure that the church is strategically positioned to allow the blessing of God to flow into their lives and through their hands.
And here's the verse that we talked about in the last program in Joel chapter 2, verse 26.
And this is unique because we're in 2026.
Here's what he said.
He said, in Joel 2, 26, he said, and you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God who has dealt wondrously with you, and my people shall never be ashamed.
There is a removal of shame that's coming to every single household that's watching who grab a hold of this by faith.
For the Lord says, for your shame, you shall have double.
And the unique part of that verse is that it precedes the Pentecostal shouting ground that we're all familiar with in Joel chapter 2, verse 28, where it says, and it shall come to pass afterward that I'll pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.
We want that.
We want the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on all flesh, but we've missed something.
In verse 28, he says, and it shall come to pass afterward that I'll pour out my spirit on all flesh.
That means if we want God to pour out his spirit on all flesh, something has to become before it.
Something has to happen first.
What is it?
Plenty, provision, restoration.
Why?
Because if God pours out his spirit on a broke and destitute people, the revival will go nowhere.
There'll be no cameras in order to let the world see what's happening.
There'll be no airplane tickets that are purchased for missionaries to go and do what God's called them to do.
There'll be no funds that are raised in order to feed the hurting or to set slaves free from human trafficking.
The revival will shrivel and die right where it is, unless before the mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost, there is an outpouring of supernatural provision.
And I believe the church has gone through years and decades of seeing the mishandling of this and the problems with this and kind of the PTSD, whatever they have.
It's time to get over that now.
And it's time to get back to the word and say, what does the Bible say about provision, about abundance, about faith?
And let's get back to it, regardless of what the devil's tried to do.
I believe that God is restoring that revelation to the body of Christ.
Amen.
I really do.
You know, whenever the word prosperity is preached in the church, either people's ears are tuned to it or people harden their hearts and turn off.
You wrote a book, 101 Prosperity Confession.
So, Bishop, tell us right away.
You see it there on the screen, friends.
I urge you to go get this daily decrees that release God's abundance.
So, how would you define biblical prosperity in today's world, Bishop?
Let's just lay it out there.
Prosperity is walking in the will of God.
That's all that prosperity is.
Prosperity is walking in the will of God.
If God told you, I can't tell you how many times I've organized a missions trip because you know we've done work with the persecuted church around the world and we could be doing work in Pakistan.
And when I tell people what we're doing, and you can see in their heart that they want to go, that they want to do it, they hear the call of God.
You know what the first question is that comes out of their mouth?
How much is it?
How much?
And what that means is the church stops at the price tag.
And we've got to have a radical revolution in the way that we think about finances because we are so bound up in this area that before we do what God's called us to do, we ask how much does it cost?
That's not the first question that needs to be asked.
Is God calling me to do it?
If he is calling me to do it, the price tag has no matter.
It makes no matter, makes no difference, the price tag, because he will supernaturally supply what it is.
So, if we're going to reach this nation, we're going to reach this world, we've got to get Christians to stop looking at the price tag.
And the only way to do that is for them to renew their minds to understand what true biblical prosperity is.
Prosperity is walking in the will of God.
Prosperity is never having to tell God no.
Isn't that powerful?
I mean, people can get a sigh of relief.
Yeah, that's right.
Prosperity is never having to tell, God says, buy a car for that family.
You don't have to say no because you don't have the money.
God says, go on the mission field.
You don't have to say no because you don't have the money to pay for the plane ticket.
Prosperity is never having to tell God no.
Now, supernatural abundance is the promise of God for every single believer.
Whether they're mature enough to handle that is between them and God.
But the promise of God remains true.
What we must do is renew our minds with the washing of the water of the word, which is why I wrote this devotional.
So it's 101 days.
And I'm not giving you my opinion.
It's 101 verses every single day concerning God's will and your finances.
And you read this little verse, and then I have a little devotional and a confession based on that verse.
And you go throughout your day and you confess that.
At the end of 101 days, your mind will be so transformed, you'll stop asking what the price tag is.
I mean, when we had this situation that we discussed with our roof, I just finished writing this book, and I was so full of faith when they told me, oh, it could be in excess of $100 plus $1,000 to fix this.
I didn't bat an eye.
I had the steadiest hand in the house, was not concerned, and I was completely unimpressed by the attacks of the enemy because I know that I know my God will supply all my need according to his riches and glory.
So many of you watching this right now, you've kind of been held back by the enemy because of your financial situation.
It's time to break free from that.
And the way that you do that is by renewing your mind.
That's first.
You know, when a baby's born, when it comes into this earth, if it's born in a healthy way, it comes out headfirst.
You know, we serve the Lord with our minds.
That's an important thing some Christians forget.
You're supposed to use your mind.
We serve the Lord with our minds.
And the devil knows this.
And he knows that in order to bind you, he doesn't have to bind your hands.
He doesn't have to shackle your feet.
But if he shackles your mind, he will hold you back.
You're coming out, though, in Jesus' name.
You're about to be delivered and you're coming out headfirst.
Hallelujah.
You're coming out.
You're coming into prosperity, but you're going to go in headfirst.
Get that in your spirit.
Understand that to be the reality because the Bible says, beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
That's your mind, your will, and your emotions.
So that's what this is about.
That's why I'm so passionate about it.
I was actually starting to write a book on prosperity, and I realized, man, people just need a mind renewal first.
And so, this is the first devotional I've ever written.
I think it's one of the most popular books we've ever released.
I had one pastor buy a thousand copies, just one pastor, buy a thousand copies of this to give to everyone who comes to his conference because he himself walks through this and he's been transformed by it.
Get a copy of this, but start renewing your mind to this reality so that you can support ministries like this.
Ricky and Mondo are standing kind of like islands unto themselves, doing something that most believers, ministers, are scared to do, to preach the truth on television, regardless of the consequences.
I know you want to partner with them and support them.
And if you could do more, you would do more.
Well, here's good news: you can do more.
All you have to do is get into abundance and get into wealth headfirst.
And so, here's what I want you to do: call that number on the screen, go to jimbakershow.com, let's partner together, let's stand in faith.
Amen.
And Bishop, I want to ask: can you give us a real life example?
You've written this book, 101 Prosperity Confessions.
Can you give us a real life example of one of these things that you have walked through, you've seen that have happened that have changed your life personally?
Yeah, well, my mind, when I was working with the underground church in China, and I was sharing the revelation of this, and this is the underground church, you understand.
This isn't, everybody often says, Well, see if that prosperity stuff works, you know, in the third world.
Well, I got bad news for you.
I'm not like most of your congregants.
I've spent a lot of time in the third world, and I can tell you, it works in the third world, especially.
And they heard this word concerning prosperity, this message, and they stood in faith, they sowed, and within 24 to 48 hours, they received a supernatural influx of $100,000 into the ministry.
$100,000 into the underground church in China.
I'm telling you, it works everywhere.
Now, in my personal life, I wish I knew you were going to ask that question because I would have gotten video for you of me when I was 17 years of age, 18 years of age, and I received this revelation.
And I can show you the video where I sowed my last $100.
And within the same video, you see me receiving a supernatural, hundred-fold return on that $100 that I sowed.
It's actual proof.
And I've lived it from the time I was a teenager to now.
My children live it.
When they're believing for something, they put seed in the ground.
They stand in scripture.
They believe God.
And he supernaturally supplies.
So, yeah, we could, you want some more stories.
We can just keep on going.
Amen.
I mean, it's an incredible thing, Mondo.
I have so much faith in what you're teaching, Bishop, because we have seen it here.
I know personally, I remember a few months ago, my wife and I were on our three-mile walk that we do almost every other day.
And my wife came up to me and said, We're in trouble.
We need this much, and I don't know where it's going to come from, and I don't know what we're going to do.
I went to prayer the next day.
I sowed a seed, and within, I think it was within 48 hours, the Lord not only returned what I gave, but doubled it.
Amen.
That was not to just, oh, wow, that was amazing.
No, it was to build our faith.
That's right.
That when you believe, you see, the problem is not the money.
The problem you're dealing with is what Bishop was teaching is the disbelief in our mindset.
I needed to shift my mindset in order to understand the mission that God had called us to do.
This ministry right here.
I mean, if he only knew the battles that we're going through financially and all of that, and yet we still show up, we still come in.
We still serve because it's not the dollar amount that makes a difference.
It's where's your heart going to be when God blesses you.
You understand what I'm telling you?
Because if you can't be trusted with little, how can God give you what you're asking for?
And then you're disobedient and you're going to go out and spend God's money the way you wanted it.
Ricky, we have seen the miracles in this ministry.
That's right.
Miracle after miracle.
But what did God teach you a few months ago about sowing seed?
Yeah, I was fasting.
I think it was probably about a year ago now at this point.
I was doing a two-week liquid fast and it was started off with water.
And the very end, I'm sitting there and I'm on day 13 and I'm laying on my couch and I'm praying and I'm saying, Lord, I need to hear something.
It's been 13 days of fasting and I have not heard you say something.
I've gotten Revelation reading and this, but I said, Lord, I want to hear you tell me something that we're going into.
And so I'm laying on the couch and I actually began to weep because I'm like, Lord, there's no way that I just fasted 13 days and I haven't heard anything, God.
I'm a big boy.
I like to eat.
Come on, God.
I wouldn't just be giving this up for no reason.
God, I need to hear your voice.
And I was weeping on my couch and I heard as clear as day, the Holy Spirit said, give your way to freedom.
And I said, okay, because, you know, the Holy Spirit talks, I'm a little ignorant.
I like to ask questions.
You know, I'm like, well, Holy Spirit, what am I supposed to do?
What am I giving?
Am I giving my time, my money, my effort, my, what am I giving?
My emotions.
What am I giving?
And I heard the Holy Spirit said, give everything.
And that was what I got out of that 14-day fast.
And I realized that is the lifestyle I'm supposed to live.
So from that point on, I came to our ministry heads and I said, hey, this is what we're going to do.
In our time of need, when we are in our greatest time of need, I'm going to walk around the ministry and see what I can give away.
I don't care if it's something off the wall that somebody said they liked.
I don't care if it's the last little bit of money that we have to another ministry.
I'm going to see what we have and I'm going to sow it to somebody else.
And friends, that is when the Lord shows up and that is when he honors because why?
We're just giving the Lord back what already belongs to him.
We're giving back the Lord what already belongs to him.
We can get as many gifts as we want.
We can get as many blessings as we want.
But friends, it's not just for us to sit here and hoard it so that we can give it back to him, to his kingdom, to his efforts.
So the Lord told me, give your way to freedom.
And I've been living that lifestyle ever since.
I said, you know what?
I don't care what it is.
If it's my time, my money, my effort, my energy, my emotions, I'm going to give myself away.
Why?
Because I believe that the Lord will restore me.
When I give my time, he restores my time.
When I give my money, he restores and blesses that.
When I give my efforts and my emotions, he blesses it, friends.
And Bishop, you wrote a book, 101 Prosperity Confessions.
And I think that really lines up with that is really, you know, obviously the Lord will bless you, but for some of us, we need to start the process of giving our way to freedom.
Yeah, the reason why you stepped into that revelation is because he gives seed to the sower, not to people who sow.
There is a distinct and direct difference between a sower and someone who sows.
In the same way, there is a distinct difference between a basketball player and someone who just plays basketball from time to time.
You understand the difference between those two things.
So I could be called a basketball, someone who plays basketball, but I'm not a basketball player.
And there is a difference between someone who sows and a sower is someone who is defined by that term.
That word describes who they are as an individual.
The moment your mind shifts and you stop thinking about, okay, how do I get $10,000?
But instead, you start thinking, okay, how do I give $10,000?
Now you've turned the corner.
Now you're not just someone who sows.
Now you are a sower.
And that's who Jesus gives seed to.
Ministering to Givers 00:00:54
And make no mistake about it.
In 2 Corinthians, when he says he gives seed to the sower, Paul is receiving an offering.
He's talking about finances in that moment.
So he's actually saying he gives money to people who regularly give money.
It is the ministry of Jesus.
In fact, it just says it right here.
He ministereth.
This is 2 Corinthians.
He ministereth seed to the sower, meaning it is his ministry.
Oh, I want somebody to get that.
It is the ministry of Jesus to put money in the hands of givers.
Man, that ought to make somebody shout hallelujah because some of you are givers.
Some of you are sowers.
You just had the enemy lie to you and said you were never going to get that hundred-fold return.
Time for Sweetness 00:02:26
I'm here to tell you, now is the time.
Now is the season.
This is a Joel 226 season where you are going to eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the wonderful works of your Lord and your God because you're a sower.
It is the ministry of Jesus to put seed, to put money in the hands of givers.
It's time for us to let Jesus do his ministry.
Hallelujah.
It is time for us to let Jesus do his ministry.
And if you'll do that, I promise you, there is a flood tide, a tidal wave of wealth that is coming to you so that the gospel can be funded and preached around the world.
Amen.
You know, Bishop, the word of God says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, it's laid up for the righteous.
I want to ask you this question.
We're going to watch a quick video from our sponsor for today's show.

I want to say thank you to Dulsa.
There's a partner.
They really help us push the gospel message forward, and they're good Holy Spirit people too.
I base out of Nevada and they make something that actually benefits your life.
Praise God for that.
So, Bishop, I want to ask you this question one more time just to make sure we really grasp this.
The Bible says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just or laid up for the righteous.
Do you believe that wealth transfer is something that we'll see in our generation?
Yeah, the Bible says that wealth and riches shall be in your house, but then it also says that the wealth that the wicked is given to accumulate wealth.
So God has given you, God has given you wealth.
It's supposed to be in your house, but it's in the wicked's house.
And then in Deuteronomy, he says he's given you power to go get it.
Well, how in the world are we going to go get it?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
You're not actually going to go into their house and go get it.
You are going to be faithful, remain faithful, and God is going to judge you as faithful.
And as you walk in faithfulness, he is going to transfer.
There are great shifts coming to the economy that you have to be prepared for.
If believers would just get in tune with what the Holy Ghost is saying when it comes to stocks, when it comes to cryptocurrency, when it comes to gold and silver, you're going to be in a much better situation in the future.
You got to listen to the Holy Ghost and obey what he tells you to do because this is how he moves finances.
He'll give you wisdom.
He didn't say he would give you the wealth.
He said he would give you the power to go get it.
So the sinner has wealth and there is promised a great transfer.
How's the transfer going to happen?
We're going to rise up in the power that God has given us.
Where is that power?
Ephesians 3.20.
Exceedingly abundantly, above all, you can ask or think, according to the power that works on the inside of you.
So get this.
The wealth of the wicked is in their house.
It's supposed to be in your house.
The Bible says he's given you power to go get wealth.
Where's that power?
The Bible says it's living on the inside of you.
How do we release that power?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
So by the power of your confession and your faithful giving and stewarding of the finances that God has given you, according to Luke 16, that's how you position yourself for the great wealth transfer.
We got to be ready for this.
We're going to see such fluctuations in the economy.
I believe we'll see this is a golden era.
We will see prosperity blossom and bloom, but there's going to be attacks against the economy globally as well.
And the only way that you can stay solid is by being faithful, a steward of what God has given you according to the word of God.
That's why I'm writing a whole book called They Lied to You About Prosperity.
A whole book called They Lied to You About Prosperity.
And it is apologetic for those who have been burned, who don't understand.
All they know are the abuses to show you what the Bible actually says so that we can become stewards of what God has given us.
Prosperity is not a bad word.
It is a divine word, and every believer should be walking in it.
Bishop, talk to us about what's happening with the digital currency for children.
How is it tied to Donald Trump and how is that going to affect every family in America?
We have never seen anything like this, the Trump accounts that are, I forget the starting date and the end date.
And I don't remember if it was Dell or one of the founders of those major companies donated this money so that children born between these dates will be given, I believe it's $1,000 Trump account invested in the stock market.
If they will be faithful with that account and their parents can add to it, loved ones can add to it throughout the years.
So we're going to have a generation for the first time that's raised to think about the economy, to think about the stock market, to watch stocks.
I mean, how many 18-year-olds, how many 25-year-olds know anything about the stock market or have an account?
Now we're going to have tons of kids invested in it.
And it's estimated, if I'm not mistaken, that they could actually be a millionaire if they hold on to those finances for a long period of time.
This small little Trump account, if they just let it sit in the stock market, it's going to grow and grow and grow.
I think by the time you're either, I think 28, you could have $600,000 in your account by the time you're 28 years of age.
By the time you're retired, you could have an excess of a million dollars in your account.
So we've never seen anything like this.
I think this is a part of the wealth transfer as well.
And here's a fascinating verse I want everybody to get.
The Bible says, raise up a child in the way that they should go.
And when they are old, they will not depart from it.
Now, most of you think what that means is send your children to Sunday school and teach them about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
And when they're old, they won't depart from it.
Well, my question to you is, how's that working for you?
Because we've raised children.
We've taught them about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
And 75 to 85% of them backslide their first year in college.
They depart from the way that they should go.
So what's going on?
We haven't understood the verse.
Raise up a child in the way that they should go.
And when they're old, they'll not depart from it.
And the next verse says, the borrower is servant to the lender.
So what does that mean?
Train your children in biblical stewardship, because if you don't, they're going to have to borrow from the world.
And if they have to borrow from the world, they have to serve the world.
And Christians are like, I don't understand why my love, my, why my child's not serving the Lord because the moment they turned 18, you co-signed with them for their car, and then you got a loan for their college.
They are serving the world for everything they have.
They don't have time to serve God.
So we've got to get this revelation this year.
And what a time to do it when even the government is putting money into the hands of these babies.
Let's raise them up with biblical economics and stewardship at the forefront of their training and teaching.
And I believe we'll see a great wealth transfer.
Amen.
I do believe so as well.
What great knowledge.
101 prosperity confessions, daily decrees that release God's abundance.
Bishop, I love that you wrote this because a lot of people try to stay away from certain topics because they don't want to be labeled something.
My question to you is, why do you continue to write the books that maybe people are saying are fringe topics?
I don't know.
I have a thick skin, so I think the Lord just pushes me out into these areas of discomfort.
And I've had to battle through these things, particularly in prosperity.
As someone who I just wanted to focus on revival and ministering to the persecuted church around the world.
And I would go and I would be on the mission field and we'd reach the bottom of the barrel.
It's like, man, we need more.
There needs to be abundance.
There needs to be provision.
And I would come back and I would share with the church.
And after giving everything I had, emptying out, even as you mentioned, and going on the mission field, putting everything on the line in order to do it.
And then I mentioned prosperity and I'm accused of being some kind of a prosperity pimp or something, or one of those prosperity preachers.
And I even stopped preaching prosperity just to avoid the subject for about a year.
I just said, you know what?
I'm tired of fighting this.
You know, as a pastor, you're fighting so many different battles.
I just, I don't want to be lumped in with the fill-in-the-blank prosperity preacher.
So I'm just not going to talk about it at all.
And that resulted after a year in one of the most dramatic encounters I've had with the Lord in my entire life, where he visited me in my office and it was not nice.
He rebuked me in a dramatic way.
And I'm writing a book now to describe that experience where I came out of that with a, I think I did a video called Prosperity Preacher Repents because I had to repent for not preaching prosperity after being apprehended by the Lord.
And for too long, ministers have been scared to talk about this because they know how their congregation will view them.
But we have to believe that the word of the Lord can pierce the heart.
It can break the hard, craggy heart that has been formed over years and decades of just dead religion.
And it can pierce the heart and bring life and life more abundantly.
I believe we don't get to pick and choose what we preach.
This isn't buffet Christianity where we can pick what we want to talk about in the Bible.
And there's a lot the Bible has to say about prosperity.
And that's the reason why I'm diving into it now and why I started with this devotional because I just wanted to give you verses.
Here's 101 verses, 101 proofs that God wants you to prosper.
Argue with the word, don't argue with me.
And so I guess if nobody else is going to do it, Brother Ricky, I'm going to do it.
Bishop, I want to say thank you for tackling these hard subjects, never being afraid to write what it is the Lord has told you to do.
Because a lot of people, we have those Jonah experiences where the Lord says, go to Nineveh and we go to Tarshis.
But you said, you know what, I'm going to Nineveh.
Wherever it is the Lord has called me to do, I'm going to do it.
And I want to say thank you for listening to the prompts of the Holy Spirit.
Friends, go to RevivalNation.com, support this ministry in this good work that he is doing because he's spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
And I don't know about you, but I want to be a part of that.
Friends, thank you for supporting the PTL television network as well.
This show that we do every single day to tell people Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
Friends, this was episode two with Bishop Alan Dadio.
If you didn't watch episode one, go back on video on demand on our apps.
You can go to PTL.tv on any of the iOS or Play Stores or Roku or Apple TV, and you can watch episode one as well and see how Bishop Alan Dadio will bless you and bless your life through the word of the Lord.
Remember this, friends.
As Pastor Jim says so many times, I don't ever want you to forget it.
