NASCAR Origins in the Mountains 00:03:05
Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show.
Our special guest today is Pastor Josh Davis.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega.
And now here is your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, friends.
You're watching the PTL Television Network.
I want to say thank you for tuning in with us today.
We have Josh Davis.
Josh, I want to say thank you for joining the broadcast.
Thank you.
We've interviewed you via Zoom before, but you're here in person.
I want to say thank you for making the time to come out to the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Yes, it reminds me of being at home because I'm from the Appalachian Mountains.
That's Appalachian, not Appalachian.
I was going to say, I would call it the Appalachian Mountains.
Yeah, Appalachian.
You guys have some interesting, you know, talking about the different themes.
You guys with Southwest Radio Ministries.
There's a lot of weird stuff that happens out in those mountain ranges.
I was going to say Appalachian, but I think that's how you say it, right?
Appalachian.
I'm blessing there.
I said it right.
There's a lot of interesting stuff that happens out in those mountain ranges.
You know, a lot of, what do they call it?
Folklore.
People say there's, you know, different beings and walking around in the woods.
Yeah, bomb name.
And all these kinds of things.
Moonshiners.
Yeah.
That's right.
Yeah, every family has a story about moonshine.
I think I'd be more concerned about the moonshining than I would Bigfoot.
Yeah, yeah.
Those guys, yeah.
I've seen the television programs.
Yeah, the town that I live is where NASCAR and the origin of NASCAR was from these bootleggers who would hot rod their vehicles so that they could outrun the revenuers trying to chase them down.
And that led to them racing their cars against the birds of NASCAR.
That's right.
Yeah, so some of the stock car racing had its roots in people running moonshine back in the hills.
Hey, I had no idea what that was.
It's really believable.
Now the town that I live has a big, massive 100,000-plus seat arena to watch NASCAR races and things like that.
So what you're saying, what they were drinking was jet fuel.
Yeah, that's right.
But welcome to the Ozark Mountains.
They're not quite as tall or maybe as pretty, but no, I love this area.
This period is an incredible area.
If you've never been to Branson or the Blue Eye area, friends, I encourage you, come out and visit our studios.
Come on, visit Branson, bring your family here.
What do they call it, Mono?
The Christian Las Vegas.
Yeah, it's a pretty accurate description of it.
You know, they have, it's a little smaller, but I think it's no gambling.
Yep, that's right.
You know, I think the craziest thing you do is go ride a roller coaster at Silver Dollar City.
But I encourage you, come out and be a part of what's happening here in the Ozarks.
It's an incredibly Christian area, too.
I love that.
You know, people say, well, you know, you should keep your faith out of the politics and keep the, I'm like, absolutely not.
I think we should have incredibly Christian areas all over the United States of America.
People go, you know what?
That's a America first.
That's a family first.
That's a Jesus first and foremost first area.
And I think that's incredible.
So welcome to the Ozarks.
I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us.
Thank you, guys.
You've written a few incredible books we're going to be talking about and a DVD as well.
Silence Of The Church 00:15:28
I'm just going to talk about the titles and we're going to jump right into this.
The first one we're going to talk about is Rise of the One World Mind.
We talked a little bit about this last time you were on the broadcast.
And this is, I believe, your first book you had ever written.
It was.
There's the first book you'd ever written.
Mono, the title alone is why I want to jump into it.
We don't have any questions formatted for this, but I want to talk about this.
It's called Fake Jesus.
Yes.
Tell me about that.
Right, right.
Yeah, a lot of people have the same look on their face.
One time when we were releasing the book, we got a phone call to our ministry and they said, are you the fake Jesus ministry?
And we're like, on one hand, we have a book called We Believe in the Real Jesus.
So the whole goal is fake Jesus.
Yes.
It's really twofold.
The mission of the book, number one, is to answer the question, is Jesus God?
How do we know Jesus is God?
And yes, 100%.
I believe that he is.
And I believe that through history, through archaeology, through the scriptures, you can show and demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus is the very God that he claimed to be.
And so that's the first goal of the book.
The second goal of the book is to dispel some myths that even seep into the Christian mindset, misconceptions that we have of who Jesus is and what he's doing in our lives.
And some of these are things that I had fallen for in my life, some misconceptions I had about God and what he's doing.
And so I wanted to write to look at scripture and understand what does the Bible say about these kinds of things.
And how can we accurately know who Jesus is?
I love the fact that you write about what kind of God is Jesus.
The business partner, which, wow, we teach that in the church so much.
We have filled a whole entire program on that.
Yeah, where Christ is our business partner, not our Lord.
Yes.
The guild trip, the co-parent.
How about this one?
This was going to make you upset.
The political hero.
I love that you finished this book out in the last chapter.
It's called The Authentic Jesus Revealed.
So you address all of these misclaims about maybe who Christ is, what it is that he did, some things that are running rampant in the world and in the church.
But then you say, you know what?
Here's the authentic and the real Jesus.
And I love that you did that in this book.
You know, in order to know the timeline of where it is that we're living, you have to know who Jesus is.
You have to know God.
You have to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
So I want to ask you that question.
Where do you think we are on this spiritual timeline?
We've had many incredible men and women of God sit right in that exact same seat right here.
And, you know, everyone has their synopsis of, you know, the timelines and this.
And we never set dates.
And I always tell people, you know, somebody says Christ is coming back October 22nd, 2032.
Just know you can plan a dinner that day.
He's not coming back that day.
You know, we can't set times or dates.
The Lord said, we'll know the season.
Where are we on the political or excuse me?
On the biblical timeline, especially with everything that's been happening politically, geopolitically, we see travesty around the world.
Where are we?
Yeah, right, right.
And somebody asked the question, what's this world coming to?
And really, the answer is it's coming to Jesus.
And he is the one who's in control of the timeline.
As you said, I agree with you 100% that his plan, his purpose is going to be fulfilled.
And we know that God is on the throne and that he is working and moving in our day.
You can see it all throughout the history of scripture.
There are these globalists, you know, think about Nebuchadnezzar in the book of Daniel.
He wanted to take over the world and he thought that he was the most powerful man on earth, perhaps even the most powerful being in the universe.
And what happened?
You see him in the book of Daniel crawling on all fours like a beast.
And God reminded him who's really in charge, who's really in control.
And so there are players on the world stage today that are trying to get their agenda pushed forward.
And we see the pieces of the puzzle coming together, the prophetic puzzle coming together like never before.
When you look at pieces of the puzzle like Israel, when you look at pieces of the puzzle like technology and all these kinds of different areas, it's just this convergence of things that we see coming together wherever you look on the prophetic map.
You see the pieces of the puzzle coming to place.
But we got to remember that it's God who is bringing all this to his good end.
As Christians, we don't live in fear, but we know that God is going to get the victory through this season.
That's right.
You brought up a hot topic that's really running the United States in circles right now.
We're having a massive movement of anti-Israel propaganda.
We're also seeing people turn their back on Israel as an ally that we have, even just from a nation-to-nation standpoint.
But a lot of anti-Zionism.
We see a lot of anti-Semitism.
A lot of young, influential leaders popping up.
And I call them leaders.
You can say, oh, they're not a leader because you don't like what they're talking about, but they are leading millions of young men to hate the Jews right now.
Does Israel still play a key in God's heart right now?
Because they're saying, you know, we've replaced them as the modern-day church.
Yeah, absolutely.
Israel does have a role in God's plan.
And you look at Jeremiah 30, and I would just encourage your viewers, read that one chapter because at the very beginning, I think it's Jeremiah 30, verse 3, it says, I have loved you with an everlasting love.
And the word everlasting there just means everlasting, eternal.
It's not without end.
What's surprising to me is that Christians are going into this belief system.
Replacement theology.
Yeah, replacement theology and all these different kinds of things.
They're falling for these beliefs, and yet they say, you know, my faith is secure in God.
Well, if God can get rid of Israel, he can get rid of the church.
He can get rid of us if he wants to.
He may decide the church is not in my plan anymore.
So if God isn't faithful to fulfill his eternal promises he's made to Israel, why should we as Christians think that he's not going to replace us as well?
And that's been the number one, I think, question.
We watch social media as we look through all these videos that we get tagged in and people send us and things like that.
People are saying, oh, well, you know, that was a promise made to them in Genesis, and that doesn't mean eternal.
And whenever Christ died on the cross, he said, you're my people.
He was talking about the new church.
He wasn't talking about the nation of Israel, you know, the people who crucified Christ.
So we're seeing this, you know, people are throwing out every type of argument to say Israel, it does not need our spiritual support, our, you know, nation-to-nation support.
So in this time, I know we see a lot of anti-Semitism, but we see a lot of big pastors.
I think it was you the other day who sent me a video on Instagram, if I remember correctly, of a very well-known pastor who publicly switched his stance in the middle of a sermon from we need to support Israel to replacement theology.
It's a dangerous road that we're riding.
One thing, you have leaders, but as a people that we sit under these leaders, how do we respond to this?
Yeah, I think number one, you have to stay in God's word.
You have to know what God's word says.
And I think if people just read the scriptures, like I mentioned, Jeremiah 30, other scriptures, and you just let it say what it says in a natural way, you begin to understand that God does have a plan for the people of Israel.
And in the Old Testament, when Daniel is in captivity in Babylon, he discovers Jeremiah, and he's reading it, and he realizes 70 years are determined.
He doesn't spiritualize that.
He doesn't allegorize it.
He doesn't say, well, there's going to come a time when this comes to an end.
He says, no, 70 years are determined.
In 70 years, we've got to pack our bags because we're going back home and there's going to be a generation that comes back.
Daniel interpreted Jeremiah's prophecy in a literal manner.
So there's a biblical precedent for understanding what God has said in Bible prophecy in a literal way.
And so that's where it starts.
But secondly, I'd like to add, I think that the silence of the church, especially in areas of Bible prophecy, may have created the rise in anti-Semitism that we're seeing is because pastors aren't teaching on Bible prophecy.
They're not teaching on the role of Israel in Bible prophecy.
And as a result, their people are going online and they're coming under the influence of some of these influencers who are teaching them things that are not in line with God's word.
And so could the church's silence have created a spiritual vacuum into which all these people are now going online trying to find the answers for these kinds of things?
I think you're correct because I remember 27 years ago when I met Pastor Jim, your friend, and he was being invited to go speak all over the nation.
The number one thing he was told in the green room was, Jim, don't talk about Bible prophecy.
Don't talk about the book of Revelation.
We want you to share your testimony about how God got you through prison.
But that's not what Pastor wanted to talk about.
He wanted to talk about the message that was birthed during the prison years, which was Bible prophecy.
The church has failed tremendously.
Not all the church today is catching on and they, you know, it's become popular.
But at the same time, you're right.
The responsibility that the church holds on understanding where Israel falls in Bible prophecy.
And here we are, 2025, and Israel still in the middle of everything that is taking place.
Accusations and I mean, all the things.
As a Christian, how do we stand?
I know I keep asking you, but I want you to give us some common ground here of where do we begin?
What books do we study regarding Israel?
Because we need to have a clear statement.
Just like when people ask you, is Jesus God?
Well, you have a whole theology that you can put and scriptures that you can take them through.
But when it comes to Israel, most Christians don't even know.
They go to one scripture.
And they think that one scripture is going to defend the whole stance.
But it's literally from Genesis all the way to Revelation, pretty much.
But walk us through the process.
What are the key scriptures that we can stand on that we can study?
Yes.
Yeah.
One that I like to go to, I mentioned Jeremiah 30 and some of those promises that are made.
I love the analogies that Jeremiah uses.
That's why I recommended that chapter early on is because not only does he have that in verse 3 where he says with everlasting love, I love you with an everlasting love.
He gives the analogy of, as long as the sun is in the sky, the moon is in the sky, the stars are in the sky, the waves are coming in.
And as long as you see those things, you know that I love you and my love for you is still going on.
Well, anybody can walk outside and see the sun's still there, the moon's still there, the stars are still there.
And so they know that God's love is still going on.
I love in the New Testament, Romans chapter 11, especially talking about Israel's future.
Romans 9, 10, and 11, Israel's past, Israel's present, Israel's future.
And when you look at Romans chapter 11, you see that Paul makes it very clear that God still has a plan and purpose for Israel.
And then when you talk about the book of Revelation, you see that tribulation period, Israel is there and God is working in Israel in that time that the Old Testament calls the time of Jacob's trouble.
The tribulation period is a time of refining for Israel.
And many Israelis and many Jewish people are going to turn to Jesus as the Messiah during that future seven-year period.
It's really a time of focused refining.
And as Zechariah says, and they will look upon me, the one that they have pierced, and they will mourn for me as one mourning for his only son.
And so I would recommend the Old Testament people begin in Jeremiah, especially around chapter 30 and following.
And then in the New Testament, look at Romans 11 and just follow Paul's argument that he makes in that powerful chapter.
Couldn't get any more clear.
Listen, you have to get these books and learn.
It's so critical that we have information.
We are the information age, the generation that loves information almost too much.
We're getting drunken with information, but the right information can bring up knowledge and really help you understand because Ricky, you're holding something in your hand that I believe that the masses, the masses are getting ready to be deceived through artificial intelligence and the brainwashing that is taking place.
And if you don't know your word, you're going to be deceived.
You can read about it in Matthew 24, three times Jesus dealt with deception.
And listen, call right now, 1-888-988-1588.
Order the books today and get the DVD that Ricky's holding in his hand.
It's going to bring some knowledge to you and get your Bible out and get ready to go through a journey through scripture.
You know, I'm holding this right here.
You can see it on the screen right there.
It's called Brainwashing the Masses.
So what are some manipulation tactics that are being used to maybe steer society into a one-world government, one world religion, those types of things?
Yeah, I truly believe that the world is being conditioned for the biblical end times scenario before our very eyes.
And it sounds almost outrageous to make such a claim, but I think if we go back just a few years ago to COVID, and we can see a lot of the tactics that were used during that season.
So I use that as a great example for the brainwashing scenario that's taking place in our world today.
And so I go back and see the messaging and the marketing that was used.
And guilt and fear were used over and over and over again to drive the message home that you need to get on board with our way, with our plan.
And it seemed like the world changed with like a flip of a switch almost overnight when those things started to come in.
And so we see this brainwashing at work in a global scale in our world today as we're being conditioned for the biblical end time scenario.
That's right.
Well, so I guess that begs the question, how does brainwashing work?
Because we hear that phrase and it kind of sounds funny, but how does that even work?
How does someone brainwash another human being believing something?
So let's talk about the captor and the brainwasher.
The captor is under the control of the brainwasher and the brainwasher will withhold something that is life-giving.
Let's just use an example of water and say, you can't have water because you're bad.
They preach a message of guilt and fear all along the way.
You can't have this because you're bad.
You can't have this because you're bad.
And so when the captor gets to their breaking point, then they realign their values.
They say, I've got to have that water.
Okay, I agree with you.
And that's really what's behind brainwashing: it's the total transformation of somebody's values.
And that's the goal of the brainwasher: to realign people's authority, realign who or whom they subject themselves to, and to say, who is the one who's in control?
Digital Currency Control 00:06:36
And so, as long as you agree with the brainwasher, the captor can give a gift, can receive a gift, excuse me, of leniency.
So that water is finally given at the breaking point.
And now the captor is seen as the savior instead of the captor.
And the brainwashing victim has realigned their values with that of their captor.
And so in that presentation, I use COVID as the example.
And I'm not talking pro-vax, anti-vax, anything like that.
But when it first came out, just think about the messaging and the marketing that was at work right there.
You can't go to work unless you have this.
You can't get on a plane.
You can't come to the university.
Your access to education, your access to work, your access to a lot of these things was limited if you didn't get on board with the agenda.
And so just in time for the holidays, here come you can get back together with your family.
You can go back to school.
You can get back on the airplane.
You can go back to work as long as you get on board with this system.
And again, it's not a message of pro or anti-vax and all that kind of stuff, but just look and see the messaging and the marketing that's being used by powerful people in our world today to get their agenda across.
And I've always said it's actually healthy to ask the question why.
Why is it being promoted so much?
Why are we pouring so much funds and finances into certain messaging and imagery thing?
I think it's important to ask the question why.
So yeah, I do agree.
Like you said, it's not a pro-this stance or an anti-that stance.
It's really, you need to make sure that you understand the why behind it.
Make sure the Holy Spirit's guiding you.
I want to talk about something.
It's the central bank digital currency.
Is that something that we as the United States of America should be pushing for?
Because we're seeing that it's a hot topic right now.
No, absolutely not.
We do not want to go that direction.
You know, when there is a cash-based system, the purchaser maintains the control over their finances.
When it's a central bank digital currency, no more cash-based system, it's all digitized.
That power is given over to the central bank.
For instance, if they don't want you to purchase something outside of a certain zone, let's say you can't travel.
Let's go back to COVID as our example.
There were restrictions on people where they could travel, and they were supposed to stay within this certain zone in different countries around the world.
And so if you don't have a cash-based system and you try to go get gas at the gas station or you try to buy groceries, you're outside your zone, your cards declined, and so you don't have the power any longer.
The central bank has the power.
And I want to back that up with something we saw happen in Canada.
So in Canada, there was a strike with truckers.
And so what do they do?
These truckers, you know, had their money in their bank account so they know we could go on strike and we'd be able to still provide food for our families and we'd be able to still get gas in our vehicles.
Well, no, the Canadian government shut and froze their bank accounts.
They were no longer able to access.
So anyone who says, well, that sounds crazy, the government would never do that.
We've already seen the government do it.
Yes.
That was an extreme, obviously it's Canada.
They have their own laws, but an extreme overreach of power from the government to say, well, if you don't do what we say, we'll shut down your ability to feed your family.
We'll shut down your ability to take care of the people around you.
We'll shut down your ability to put gas in your car to go find another job.
Yes.
They pretty much said good luck is what happened.
And so, you know, it may sound like a far-out idea to some people, but we've already seen it work.
Yes.
Because what happens is that strike ends very quickly whenever people can't feed their families.
And we're seeing different groups of people.
There are tests done.
And people can go online and see this from official websites.
It's not just conspiracy theory or somebody sitting in their mom's basement dreaming up these plans.
It's authentic websites.
The Federal Reserve in New York is testing a lot of international transactions to see how could we come up with a standardized system.
That way we can all sort of be on the same page together.
And these international digital transactions can easily come and go between nations.
So many nations are testing their digital currency systems together.
And many nations have already launched this central bank digital currency.
Yeah, I actually have a really good friend who is in the international banking industry.
And we have conversations quite a bit.
Most of it can't even really talk about, but they are pushing for that.
You know, you see countries that have no ties to each other have a digital currency that can tie together now.
They can move money from this random Asian country to this European country to the United States back to somewhere else.
And virtually it becomes untraceable at some point.
And it becomes kind of a point of worry.
He's looking at it in perspective saying, oh, this can get really dangerous really fast.
But they're showing you that they already have the systems in place.
Yes.
Whenever we see a central bank digital currency actually unrolled, I think we could probably safely say that they've already had the plan for a decade, that they've already, you know, they've already had this in their mind.
What do we see coming in 2026?
I know there's a lot to unpack right now, but what's the main thing?
I think that we're going to see more progression towards what we've seen.
I think that the digitization of government is coming very quickly.
I think that our world is taking steps towards a centralized, standardized database of all the world's citizens using biometric data, face scans, fingerprint scans.
This year, the European Union launched that entry-exit system.
Under the radar, the United States, through the Department of Homeland Security, has done this kind of thing for non-U.S. citizens.
And we are seeing it ramp up.
And I believe that we are quickly moving to a centralized database where everyone's going to be on there.
So, the thing about that with the central bank digital currency and these other moves that we're making shows you someone like the Antichrist could easily grab a hold of this kind of system that's in place and use it to his great advantage during the biblical end time scenario.
So, we could be on the cusp of some major, major things in 2026.
Mono, I don't know if you remember the dream I had.
It was probably about a year ago now.
I had a dream I was in New York City, and I was walking around what would seem to be Times Square, and everything seemed very normal in my dream.
Prayers and Promises 00:03:54
And all of a sudden, I did like a heavy blink and I opened my eyes, and everything looked semi-futuristic.
I looked up at a giant billboard and it said something along the lines of a new digital new you.
And it said in a tagline underneath it, don't like who you are, we can fix that.
And I was looking around, realizing, oh, these are all digital beings walking around me, that they have flesh and they have bones and they bleed if they get cut, but they're primarily digital beings.
And that was the push.
So, I woke up and I wrote all this down, and I feel like the Holy Spirit downloaded this entire, you know, a small little pamphlet that I wrote down.
I haven't released it to anyone yet about how the world wants you to be first digital, second human.
And it's because the devil wants you to obviously be corrupt in some manner, like the days of Noah, like the days of law.
He's looking for a corruption.
So, if you can put something over your, obviously, the fact that you are soul, put something over that, he can think he's winning.
So, obviously, we tell people, you know, maybe try to stay away from becoming a digital being.
Yeah, God made you formed in your mother's womb.
You're who you're supposed to be.
You were born the right gender, whatever gender you were born.
I promise you, God wanted you to be that gender.
There's no, you know, you were born a man, you're supposed to be a woman, you're born a woman, you're supposed to be a man.
God is perfect in his decision-making.
You are called to be who you are supposed to be.
Pastor, as we go off today, I just want to ask if you would pray for our audience.
There might be people who are struggling right now, whether it be emotionally, spiritually.
They're saying there's so much information.
Like Mondo said, We're being drunken with information right now.
I don't know where to look or who to trust.
Or, you know, we turn on the Jim Baker show to maybe get some level information from good guests.
So, as the world goes into what seems to be a darker place, encourage people that you know what the light is just going to shine brighter during time.
Amen.
Absolutely, it will.
I'll be glad to pray for us.
Heavenly Father, we come into your presence and thank you so much that through the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ, we can come into your very presence through what Jesus has done for us.
It's amazing to think about that you allow us to come into the Holy of Holies and we come before your presence with great humbleness, Lord, and reverence for who you are and how you have created us.
I pray for those who are watching this right now that need encouragement from your word.
Let them remember that you are accomplishing your plans and purposes in this world.
We may not be able to make sense of it, but we know the one who can.
And we know that you hold tomorrow in your hands and you hold us in your hands.
Let us rest in you.
I think about those worried disciples in Mark chapter 4.
They were in the boat.
The waves were rolling in.
It was more than they could handle in that little fishing boat.
And yet, Jesus was asleep on a pillow.
And he was showing them you can rest in the arms of the Father no matter when the fiercest storm comes at you.
And so I pray for those who need that reminder today that through the power of your Holy Spirit, you would minister to each one right where they are right this very second and bring them that peace that passes all understanding that will guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
As it says in Philippians chapter 4, Lord, we love you and praise you for hearing us as we call upon you from anywhere about anything at any time.
In Jesus' name, amen.
Amen.
Thank you.
