Why People Feel Cheated 00:09:33
Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show.
Today, Pastor Mark Biltz explains why it's important to understand the times and seasons from a biblical perspective.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega.
And now here is your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, friends.
You're watching the PTL Television Network.
We're back with day two with Pastor Mark Biltz.
Pastor, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today.
God bless you.
We ended yesterday.
Friends, I want you to go back and watch it on video on demand.
Watch the PTL television network.
You can go see episode one of Pastor Mark Biltz right here as we're introducing part one, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John of the Gospels.
But I want to talk about this because you left us on a cliffhanger.
You said that there was something that was quite funny that most people don't even realize is in, and you said it's in Genesis.
Genesis 1.21.
And it says, and God created great whales.
Does your say in verse 21, whales?
It says great whales, yes.
Okay, so there it is.
It's verse 21.
It says, God created great whales.
Did you know that's a completely wrong translation?
This other translation says large sea creatures.
Large sea creatures.
Completely wrong translation.
Even that's completely wrong.
Wait, so you're saying even that's completely wrong?
Let me tell you what the Hebrew word is.
The Hebrew word is tana'in.
Which does mean?
Tana'in.
Which does not mean whale, I'm assuming.
It does not mean whale.
The Hebrew word, I want to say this, tanain.
Okay, everyone knows that says tana'in.
Now, let's go in your Bibles to Exodus chapter 7 and look at verse 9.
It says right here, Exodus 7, 9, when Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, shoe a miracle for you, then thou shalt say unto Aaron, take thy rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
Guess what?
It's the same Hebrew word, tandaeen.
A great whale?
That's why.
Do you think he threw down a great whale?
Absolutely not.
Now, that's my point.
Now, do you think that means in Genesis 1.21, it's supposed to mean he created great serpents?
That doesn't make sense either.
So what is it?
They're both wrong.
They're both wrong.
You can even Google it.
The word tandaeen is crocodile.
Aaron threw his rod down and it became a crocodile.
Pharaoh's servants threw their rods down.
It became a crocodile.
Wow.
And God's crocodile ate all of their crocodiles.
Wow.
So in Genesis 1.21, he created the great crocodiles.
Wow.
And it's obvious.
Why are they calling a whale and a serpent from the same Hebrew word?
That's insane.
Why is that, though?
I don't know.
This is why I'm working with a Hebrew scholar and we're trying to bring out what's authentic.
Now, that does not change your theology, but that's what's authentic.
You can even Google today that word.
It does change the story quite a bit, though.
It changes the story quite a bit.
The crocodile was a god in Egypt.
And so God is saying, I'm the king crocodile.
Wow.
Okay.
But anyway, these are other English heirs that are amazing.
Pastor Mark, this is why people feel cheated.
What did Jeremiah say according to what we're talking about right now on why people feel cheated?
Well, there's a prophecy that this was going to happen.
In Jeremiah 16, it says the Gentiles are going to come and say, we've inherited lies, vanity, things that don't profit.
Well, we have inherited, just like our media is biased, the early church fathers were very biased.
The early church fathers were very biased against the Jewish people.
And like Martin Luther, how many have ever read what Martin Luther wrote?
Absolutely.
Okay, this is what I'm talking about.
Well, even back further than him in history, we've seen that.
When I really believe, everyone knows in the New Covenant or New Testament, it says we only see through a glass darkly.
We only know in part.
Romans 12 says the Jews were only blinded in part.
And so the Jews see out of one eye, the Christians see out of one eye, and the first one to humble themselves and looks through both lenses gets to see the whole fuller picture.
And this is what this book are allowing us to do, right?
It's to be able to grab this eye and that eye and put them together.
And you focus.
And you focus.
I've never seen a person that gets it straight by just going through one eye.
You're missing this whole area.
I can see everything here, but I'm missing out what's here.
But the moment I exchange it, it's the same way.
Exactly.
I love what you just said.
If you humble yourself, the word humble, the word humility, really, what does it mean in essence to the scripture to be able to really take away that portion and allow yourself to see?
Because it's going to mess up your theology.
It's going to mess up your church services.
It's going to change the way you see the Bible.
How do we humble ourselves to see the full picture?
Well, to me, humility is not putting yourself down at all.
As a matter of fact, we should feel more exalted by who we are in Messiah.
True humility is forgetting about yourself.
That's what humility is.
It's not lowering yourself.
It is forgetting about yourself.
That's good.
And one of the things I bring up in the Gospels, too, the Bible literally says that people will come to Yeshua, Jesus, and they'll say, look, we prophesied in your name.
We did wonderful works in your name.
We cast out demons in your name.
And he's going to say, I don't know you.
I never knew you.
Why?
Why does that make sense?
The reason is because they are name-dropping his name to build themselves a name.
They want the credit.
They want the glory.
We have to do everything that we do and then say, this is because of what the Father has told me to do.
Okay, it's not because I, I mean, there's a lot of prophets today that want people to come to them as if they, the individual, can't hear from God.
They're trying to build up who they are.
No, all of our works that we do have to be done.
It's his work done through us.
It's not what can we do for God.
It's what will we allow God to do through us.
And so when we do these wonderful works, we're letting everybody know we had nothing to do with it.
Does that make sense?
Absolutely.
Wow.
The way you're describing this, obviously there's the political climate as well, where people are saying, you know, come through to us and we'll eventually get you to God.
What do you say right now in this political climate's happening around the world?
We see we're having now in America, the greatest country in the world.
We have one of our major cities now has a socialist for a mayor.
We're seeing kind of the decline of politics, decline of things like that.
We see people saying, hey, if you want to come to us, you know, if you want to get to God, go through us.
And there's the government talking.
How do we continue?
How do we continue to fight back against something like that?
Well, I think the greatest thing that we could do is realize we all can have access to God.
The only mediator is the Lord himself.
But the thing is, we really need to build our relationship with him.
That's the most important thing.
The only way you can build a relationship with anyone is by spending time with them.
Everyone wants a McDonald's fast food relationship with God.
It doesn't happen that way.
One of the things, I'm finishing another book describing the Antichrist, okay, the final tyrant.
What's he going to be like?
Well, I'm going to shock a lot of people's bubble because the Antichrist is not going to be a Muslim.
He's not going to be Jewish.
He's going to be a Christian.
Would you be deceived by a counterfeit bill that had Muhammad's face on it?
No.
Well, the Christians aren't going to be deceived by a Muslim or a Jew.
They will only be deceived by some wealthy, powerful.
No, I don't think they'll even claim to be Christ.
But I think that's at the very end.
That's what they'll do at the very end.
But I think if you have a powerful political leader that's very wealthy that is trying to direct Christians in a certain way, that's what you have to be leery of.
I like this.
I like this conversation.
This can go either way because we're watching a pattern of Christians in America falling in love with information that comes from a section of politics that they fell in love with.
Now you're matching action versus their words and it's not adding up.
That is so important.
Just like me, many people don't know, but King Solomon is a type of Antichrist.
Hanukkah and Its Lessons 00:03:48
What?
He's a type of Antichrist.
Everything Solomon did was the opposite of what God said.
In Deuteronomy 7 and Deuteronomy 17, God said the king is not to multiply wives.
Yes, he did it.
He's not to marry foreign wives.
He's not to multiply silver and gold.
He's not to multiply horses.
He did it too.
And he's to tear down the altars.
He built the altars.
Many don't know.
Solomon was the first king of Israel to do child sacrifice.
He is the one who initiated child sacrifice.
But back to the gospels that the Antichrist spirit, Matthew 24, I go through and Matthew 24 is actually, everyone's familiar when I say Matthew 24, the end times.
That's actually Hanukkah happening all over again.
But most Christians don't know it because they don't know anything about Hanukkah.
And Hanukkah is even mentioned in the Gospels, you'll see in John chapter 10.
It calls it the feast of dedication.
Well, the Hebrew word for dedication was Hanukkah.
Okay, so here we have taught Matthew 24 being what we have quoted the index of Revelation, right?
Yeah.
The signs and everything that he talks about, the earthquakes, the famine.
All right, break down.
What do you mean being Hanukkah?
Sure.
There's a couple of things.
First off, I want to mention what is the difference between Purim, the book of Esther, and Antiochus Epiphanies in Hanukkah.
Purim is all about annihilation.
Just annihilate all the Jews.
Hanukkah is about assimilation, not annihilation.
Okay?
In Matthew 24, they're sitting on the Mount of Olives, and they tell us about the end times.
And the first thing he says, there will be wars and rumors of wars.
If you put on your yarmukah, go back 2,000 years ago, and you hear him say there will be rumors of war, what was the last war Israel had fought?
Hanukkah.
That was the last war they had fought about 180 BC, 168 B.C.
The war before that was when the Babylonians destroyed the temple on the ninth of Ov.
Well, guess what?
World War I in 1917 started on the ninth of Ov.
Wow.
And General Allenby entered Jerusalem during Hanukkah.
So this is, you know, relating to us that this is really what that prophecy is fulfilling is Matthew 24.
But in Hanukkah, in the story, they all ran to the dens and the mountains in the caves.
That's right.
And that's right.
Genesis 20, Matthew 24 says, they'll run to the, get off your rooftops and go run.
That's exactly what they did.
It also said, pray it's not on the Sabbath.
That's right.
Well, during Hanukkah, it was on the Sabbath when they were all attacked and killed because they didn't defend themselves.
Hanukkah, Yeshua also says, pray it's not in winter.
Yes.
Hanukkah happened in winter.
Really?
Yes, Kislev.
It was in winter.
I mean, there's parallels all through there.
Wow.
Mono, we've been teaching Matthew 24 for two decades now.
This is mind-blowing.
This is, I love the fact that we can sit around and learn.
Seven Year Cycle Mystery 00:12:31
That's right.
Because when you think you know, you really don't know unless you open up your mind.
And listen, don't be set in your ways.
I love what you said on the first show that my words are not your words.
My ways are not your ways, meaning God telling the people.
And here, if you set your foundation on something that is faulty and you have no room for teaching, meaning if you have no room to be taught and you think you know it all, you're going to miss it.
You're in trouble.
That's right.
And listen.
We have an affiliate program with you, sir.
And thank you because you don't do this often with other ministries.
And you do this for our program, for you, or viewers, or partners.
And I'm looking at the website.
And one of the things that I'm looking at that I don't know if we have it available, but if we can, let's make it available to this ministry today in order, not only get this book, but I urge you to order the biblical calendar.
Oh my gosh.
Because when you start talking about the dates and the times and all that, immediately my mind goes to the Gregorian calendar because that's what we're used to.
Right.
But when you put it back into context into a biblical calendar, now you understand why certain dates matter, why April matters, why the fall, meaning what we see as October and the fall season, it's so critical.
But when you start looking at it through the biblical calendar and you look at Matthew 24 through that biblical calendar, it changes.
Everything.
As a matter of fact, in the calendar that you have from our website.
And we do have it.
You do.
Yeah.
Listen.
Oh, my gosh.
I don't even want to name the price, but you ought to know the price.
I don't know if I'm, am I allowed to say the price?
It's up to Mark.
Mark.
I don't care.
Listen, for one calendar, it's on sale right now for $10.
Incredible.
And this calendar is so different because it has the Gregorian calendar in the same square as the biblical calendar.
Wow.
And I don't know if you knew this, but this last Saturday was the very day Noah's flood happened.
And in the calendar, we also have the QR codes.
The calendar comes alive.
In the QR, in the calendar, you'll have videos.
You'll have audios.
And this is the only calendar.
Well, you can actually hear me teach about the times and seasons for every Hebrew month.
Can we do this?
Can we add the calendar to this offer?
Absolutely.
Oh, wow.
Let's do it.
Listen, we're making this up as we go along, just like your friend Jim Baker, your pastor, has done over the years, is don't just get the calendar alone.
Get the calendar and the book, and we're going to put the bundle on when you call, because I see it as one of the most crucial things as Christians to really, again, going back.
If you only have the book, you're going to miss the calendar.
If you only have the calendar, you're going to miss the book.
Let's have both and look at it from a big picture because the dates matter.
Why do dates matter in God's calendar and God's word?
Because history repeats itself.
You know, many people may not be familiar with the day, the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Ov.
That doesn't mean anything to most people.
It's around August.
The 10 spies brought the bad report on the ninth day of the month of Ov.
Therefore, that day became cursed throughout history.
The temple was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar on the ninth of Ov.
The very same day Rome destroyed the temple was on the ninth of Ov.
Really?
All the Jews were kicked out of England in 1290 on the ninth of Ov.
All the Jews were kicked out of Spain in 1492 on the ninth of Ov.
World War I started on the ninth of Ov.
Hitler's proclamation to kill the Jews was on the ninth of Ov.
Zechariah 8 prophesies that the ninth of Ov is going to turn from a day of fasting to a day of rejoicing.
If you claim to be a prophet and you're not on God's calendar, you are a non-profit ministry.
Okay.
You have to be.
How would you know when that prophecy is fulfilled if you're not on God's calendar?
Now, I ask people, are we to know the times and seasons?
Yes.
And then I ask them, okay, what time is it?
Well, I don't know.
What season is it?
I don't know.
So this calendar explains the times and seasons for every single biblical month.
Wow.
And it lets you know what's happened in those months and what historically is going to happen.
Wow.
Mondo, I agree.
This is incredible.
So we're going to put a bundle on there.
People, go to the website, order it right now, or call our number.
It's 1-888-988-1588.
That's really important, Mondo.
I think it was good that you did that.
You'll get part one of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as well as the calendar with this bundle.
Listen, this is going to transform everything that you have read before and you go into a new journey and really understanding the essence of the gospel.
I love the word essence.
Matter of fact, somebody started a magazine years ago called Essence, right?
It's the essence of who we are.
And don't miss the essence of who we are.
For so long, Pastor Mark, we have lost the essence of the gospel.
I don't recognize the church anymore.
I see entertainment, but I don't see the word.
Most pastors have become life coaches rather than teaching repentance.
Yeah, they're motivational speakers.
They're not into holiness.
They're not into following the Lord.
It's in following them.
But concerning this calendar and knowing the times and seasons, there's a verse where God says, I'm the one who changes the times and seasons.
There's another verse in Daniel where the Antichrist says he wants to change the times and seasons.
The reason why is he wants to get you off of God's calendar.
What would you say to someone who says, you know what, I didn't grow up with the Hebrew calendar.
I really don't think it's important for us today.
If God wants to reveal something to the church, he'll do it.
I think they're crazy.
He's an honest man.
To put it simply.
Every one of us are born with a broken compass and a broken watch.
We have no clue what direction we're going.
We have no idea what time it is.
And so God in Genesis 1, 14, is a mistranslation.
And this is why the church is missing it.
Tell us.
God created the sun and the moon, okay, the lights in the heavens for one reason, and it's for signs.
It turns out signs for seasons and for days and for years.
Okay.
When it says years, it's referring to the Jubilee year.
It's referring to the Shemitah year.
Okay, when it says days, it's referring to Pentecost, Passover, trumpets.
Okay, you can only have a solar eclipse on a new moon.
This is why he had their calendar based on the new moon.
So when he would send a solar eclipse over their skies, they would know God's trying to send us a message.
You can only have a lunar eclipse on a full moon, which is why he put Passover and Sukkot on a full moon.
Wow.
Okay.
But now let me mention this.
How many of you believe Daniel was Jewish?
Was the prophet Daniel Jewish?
Yes, scared to answer.
Of course he was.
I'm scared to answer.
I hesitated.
I'm going to find out he was Armenia.
Well, how many of you are familiar with Daniel's prophecy of 70 weeks?
And there's one week left.
That's right.
Right?
Well, one week means how many years?
Seven weeks.
Seven years.
That's what their tribulation is saying is seven years.
Yeah.
Yeah, three and a half years, seven years.
Well, there's two three and a half year time periods.
To make seven years.
When you read Revelation, the first three and a half are the two witnesses.
That's right, yeah.
The second three and a half is the Antichrist.
Yes.
Okay.
So, but here's the point.
Now you're going to get blown away.
It's Daniel's 70th week, which means it's a Shemitah week.
Which means it can only begin the beginning of a Shemitah cycle.
Okay, let me know.
Okay, think about that for a minute.
Okay, just to put it in our Gregorian mindset, Shemitah is seventh year.
Which is what month of our Gregorian.
The Shemitah year always begins on Rosh Hashanah.
Yeah.
Okay.
And the Shemitah year was an entire year where the land would rest and it was an economic reset.
This is where we got our bankruptcy laws from.
You can only claim bankruptcy every seven years.
It was based on the Shemitah cycle.
Really?
The Shemitah cycle is seven years.
And just like the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, the seventh year of the seven-year cycle was the Shemitah, yes, was the Shemitah year, economic reset, and the land would rest.
It's like a Sabbath for the land.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Now, do you remember why they went into captivity for 70 years?
Because they did not honor and let the land rest for 490 years.
So the whole reason they went into captivity is because they were not keeping the Shemitah cycle.
Therefore, when Daniel is prophesying the 70 weeks and there's one week left, that means the tribulation that is seven years long can only begin the beginning of a Shemitah cycle.
Wow.
Now, when does the next Shemitah cycle begin?
That's what my next question was.
It begins the fall of 2029 going into 2030.
So if the tribulation does not start the fall of 2029, it can't start until 2036, seven years later.
Wow.
And if it doesn't start then, it can't start until 2042.
When I'm telling Christians.
That's knowing the season.
You know how to know the times and seasons.
And I'm not setting dates.
I'm telling you how to know the times and the seasons.
Wow.
Wow.
That's incredible.
Wow.
The tribulation will begin on Rosh Hashanah.
Really?
In a Shemitah year, sometime.
And you only know about the year.
It could be over like a thousand years.
I'm just telling you the times and seasons, the tribulation has to begin on Rosh Hashanah, Tishri 1, at the beginning of the Shemitah cycle.
And you can only know this being plugged into God's calendar.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Now, let me tell you everyone how simple it is to know when a Shemitah year is and how simple it is to win a Jubilee year.
Okay.
If the Hebrew year is divisible by seven, it's the Shemitah year.
If it's not divisible by seven, it's not a Shemitah year.
How do you know when a Jubilee year is?
If the Shemitah year is also divisible by 49.
If it's divisible by 49, the next year is the Jubilee year.
Now, what's mind-blowing when you understand the times and seasons?
How many of you ever heard of the Yom Kippur War?
Yeah.
The Yom Kippur War, it says in Leviticus, you can only claim the year of Jubilee on Yom Kippur.
Well, the Yom Kippur War of 1973 was the first day of the year of Jubilee.
Wow.
And 50 years later, it's 2023 and the very day of October 7th of 2023 was the end of that same Jubilee cycle.
So this last Jubilee was bookended by Wars on 73 and War in 2023.
That was a huge sign that was followed by signs in the heavens as well.
Wow.
You can't make this up.
No, you can't.
You can't.
Most people don't realize this unless they get someone who is, you know what, you've dedicated your life to studying.
Encourage Generous Giving 00:03:06

It's important nowadays.
Friends, we need to set aside denominations to say, well, I only go to this type of church or I only go to that type of church.
Friends, if your church preaches the full word of God and they preach Christ crucified and they preach that he's the only way to heaven, well, friends, that's a good church.
