One Million Women Brazil
00:11:45
|
|
| Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Today, our guests will be discussing the upcoming One Million Women event set to take place in Brazil. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| Excited you have tuned in with us today. | |
| Listen, back in the old days, you say, don't touch that dial. | |
| We don't have dials anymore. | |
| Don't swipe away from that screen. | |
| Whatever you're doing, this is going to be an important broadcast. | |
| We're going to be talking about a million women Brazil. | |
| Mondo, last year, there was this thing called A Million Women. | |
| They took over the Washington, D.C. Mall. | |
| And I believe there is an incredible amount of people. | |
| I've heard the number of up to 10 million people watching online. | |
| And, you know, it's close to 400,000, 500,000 people. | |
| I'm probably butchering that number in person that came and went throughout the day. | |
| I went and I attended. | |
| Mondo, the spirit of God. | |
| You were there. | |
| The spirit of God was moving heavy. | |
| I mean, it was incredible. | |
| You better watch out when women get together. | |
| That many women, too. | |
| Especially not just five. | |
| I'm talking about millions of women. | |
| On fire for Jesus. | |
| I believe, I don't know, Dr. Candace, you may have to fix my theology here because I believe that in the Bible, that one of the most powerful things that ever took place is that God answered the prayers of women. | |
| Come on, Aster. | |
| Now, men, we pray, but then we walk away. | |
| But women, they stay. | |
| They're steadfast. | |
| They stay, they stay, they stay until God delivers the answer. | |
| And I believe the reason God is raising up women today, you may have problems with women preachers. | |
| Get over it. | |
| You may have problems with women being prophets. | |
| Get over it. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| God is on the move. | |
| You're going to get me excited. | |
| I'm not even the guest. | |
| Well, I mean, that's where I found it. | |
| That's what I always say in the church. | |
| I said, hey, don't argue with me. | |
| Argue with the Bible. | |
| The book of Joel says it in the Old Testament, Acts says it in the New Testament. | |
| In the last days, I'll pour my spirit on all flesh. | |
| It doesn't matter if you're male or female, slave or free. | |
| It doesn't matter. | |
| All flesh, the spirit of God is going to be poured out on. | |
| If you're watching this today, God has a purpose and a plan for your life. | |
| As we talk about what is going to be happening in the nation of Brazil, you may be saying, well, I'm not Brazilian. | |
| I have no ties to the nation of Brazil. | |
| But friends, salvation is the believer's business. | |
| If there's salvation happening somewhere in the world, then we need to be getting behind it and rallying behind it. | |
| I have with us today, Pastor Lou Botschman. | |
| I hope I said that correctly. | |
| Dr. Candace Smithyman and Rebecca Green with us. | |
| I want to say thank you guys for joining with us. | |
| If people are tuning in, they're just watching. | |
| What is a million women Brazil? | |
| And why Brazil after the United States of America? | |
| Yeah, so we had the Media Moment here last year. | |
| And right after that, Lou, really, Lou Ingo, which is the founder of America Women, the one that had the dream about Esther's, the Book of Esther, he really felt that Brazil was the next nation to receive this movement. | |
| I feel like Brazil is seen over other nations as a nation of revival and fire, right? | |
| The worship, the intercession, all of that that goes on in Brazil, I think has set Brazil even to lead the biggest revival on earth. | |
| It has been prophesied over the nation. | |
| So I feel like that the Lord highlighted Brazil because God really wants to set Brazil for such time as this to position, to align the nation to really lead the biggest revival that the earth has seen. | |
| Can I say something about that? | |
| In 1906, there was a grave move of God at the Bonnie Brace Street in Azouza Street that was birth in prayer and fasting. | |
| That's right. | |
| There was children in that event that were from Brazil. | |
| And they took that anointing of 1906 with William J. Seymour and took that anointing and took it back to Brazil. | |
| And there was a great move of God in Brazil that is about to happen once again. | |
| Now, this is amazing because in the next few months, stay with me because Ricky, I'm bringing a group of people that are producing a movie about William J. Seymour. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| This minister is going to get involved with it. | |
| We want you to get involved with it, but it ties to Brazil. | |
| The event is happening on a very special day. | |
| So tell us, in accordance to the Hebrew calendar, when has this been happening? | |
| And why is it significant that it's happening on the day that it is? | |
| Well, you know, that day, October 25th, 2025, is actually the day of the church in Brazil. | |
| Is that right? | |
| Lou. | |
| But it's directly following the Feast of Tabernacles on the Hebrew calendar, which is very, very important because it's a time where we've gathered together in accordance with Joel chapter 2. | |
| Come together, have a sacred assembly, come before the Lord. | |
| And there's seven blessings that come during this time. | |
| And so when we meet in Brazil, it will only be, you know, a short week or so after the Feast of Tabernacles. | |
| And we will be coming in, standing together, declaring, decreeing, and proclaiming this new season. | |
| And it's going to be a season of overflow. | |
| It's going to be a season of dominion. | |
| I mean, that's another story for another time. | |
| You know, what's God doing in the Hebrew year 5786? | |
| But this will be right at that turnaround. | |
| It will also be the first couple of days in the month of Hejvon, which means the rains are coming. | |
| It means the powerful reigns of the Lord will be coming upon the earth. | |
| So I believe that God is going to open up a portal of glory over Brazil, and he's going to bring the men and the women to their knees as he releases heaven and we begin to see Brazil be saved. | |
| Amen. | |
| We were talking earlier, so Brazil will say yes to the call of God. | |
| That's a prophetic statement. | |
| I believe that they are going to see an incredible move of God. | |
| Rebecca, I want to ask you, you know, for someone who lives here in the United States of America, you're a fellow Missourian. | |
| Praise God. | |
| I love Missouri. | |
| Why do American individuals need to get involved with something that's happening in Brazil? | |
| Because they stood with us. | |
| Amen. | |
| They stood with us. | |
| And that's what you do in a family. | |
| You know, you got to stand with one another. | |
| You got to stand and listen to your father. | |
| And this is what our father is saying. | |
| And he's saying this for the protection of our children. | |
| He's saying this for generations and legacy because that's what kind of father he is. | |
| So we've got to stand with our brothers and sisters together. | |
| Amen. | |
| Lou, what do you think God is saying right now about Brazil? | |
| I believe that Brazil is in a really very crucial moment because not only political, but of the church as well. | |
| You know, and I feel like that there is like, as I said here, there is an alignment that the Lord is asking for the church in Brazil. | |
| I feel like that there's sometimes, you know, so many distractions, so many things that have happened through all the years. | |
| And Brazil, it is a nation, like I said, seen by other nations. | |
| And he's waiting for an answer from Brazil. | |
| And I feel like he's saying, Brazil, it's your time. | |
| Amen. | |
| Friends, if you're watching this, take this moment and check out what's going to be happening at one million women Brazil. | |
| Watch this. | |
| God is raising up a generation of women, not defined by competition, but the heart set on one thing, and that is Jesus Christ. | |
| These women are marked by the calling and the passion of prayer, standing firm in that calling. | |
| And just like Queen Esther, who stood in the gap for her people, Esther knew her moment was to rise up now. | |
| So she stood firm. | |
| She didn't shrink back. | |
| She took her place, trusting God to use her for this purpose and his purpose. | |
| And so do we. | |
| God is calling us to rise, to take our place in prayer, to be women who stand together, not in competition, but in love with the one who calls us higher for such a time as this, Esther 4 and 14. | |
| This is the time. | |
| Let us rise up in prayer. | |
| Let us take our place and let us be who God has called us to be for his glory and his name. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| So Lou, I want to ask you, what is it? | |
| Is this a gathering, a holy convocation? | |
| What makes this different? | |
| What sets us apart spiritually from just another conference that would be happening? | |
| Yeah, I think like we said, you know, like the solemn assembly, the consecrated day for the Lord. | |
| And what is unique about it, it's just all the churches, believers, and actually non-believers too, that can come and encounter Jesus there. | |
| We're going to spend nine hours, actually 10 hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. just worshiping the Lord, praying, fasting, contending for the nation. | |
| So we have not seen many gatherings like that in Brazil. | |
| As a matter of fact, I think I mean when it came to really awakening the church to pray again, we have groups in every state, in every region, in every city of Brazil. | |
| Women are just raising up just like Esther did and say, I'm going to save my nation. | |
| This is a crucial time and I'm going to stand for righteousness and also asking for mercy from the Lord for the nation. | |
| This is very symbolic. | |
| Watch this. | |
| Women birth. | |
| And there's a birthing taking place. | |
| Miss Candace, the birthing process is not easy. | |
| No. | |
| But something happens when women get ready to birth. | |
| What has the birthing process been for something like this? | |
| Because it seems like the last couple of years, women have been attacked. | |
| Family has been attacked. | |
| The birthing process, it's like there's a spiritual abortion trying to be pushed. | |
| But what battles take place in the birthing of something like this? | |
| You know, it's a unity amongst the women coming together and determining that we are going to be the members of the body of Christ that bring forth life. | |
| We're going to declare life. | |
| We're going to decree it. | |
| We're going to humble ourselves. | |
| We're going to position ourselves back to the original design in the garden with Adam and Eve. | |
| We're going to position ourselves to subdue what's coming into the garden, to have dominion over it, to declare and decree. | |
| It shall multiply. | |
| It shall increase. | |
| It will be exactly the image of the Father taking place. | |
| And I think where Adam and Eve got destroyed is when they saw the tree of the knowledge of good and evil as being something that could fulfill desires within them when only relationship with the Father can bring completion and wholeness to us. | |
| And so this is a movement of women coming together and saying, we see Jesus as the answer and that he, through his death, burial, and resurrection has redeemed all things. | |
| Now we're going to gather together. | |
| We're going to declare it. | |
| We're going to decree it. | |
| We're going to humble ourselves and we're going to bring forth in the earth God's original design, which was for family, husband, wife, you know, male, female, children, a legacy where God can be glorified. | |
| That's good. | |
| Lou, I want to ask you a question about Brazil. | |
| You know, what would you say the role that like political influence plays on something like this or even the church right now? | |
|
Authority Transformation
00:15:22
|
|
| I know the occult is also very large in Brazil. | |
| I was watching actually a docu series about a gentleman. | |
| He was saying, you know, he was a believer now, but he's saying back whenever I was living the life I was living, he was in the occult and he was saying, you know, I got my powers from witchcraft. | |
| I got my authority from the demonic forces. | |
| And he's saying, and it's rampant right now in Brazil. | |
| You know, it's easy to find a place where you can go and get into witchcraft. | |
| So I just want to say, what role does, you know, the political environment play as well as, you know, the occult play? | |
| Because I can only imagine if you're going to do something like this, you're going to have the forces of evil trying to stop it. | |
| Yeah, so we have had that. | |
| And I think what, you know, talking about the church, what we have seen is there is a lot of division in Brazil. | |
| And what it's happening is like the leaders, the pastors, and all the church wants to be part of this. | |
| Because I feel like sometimes there's some competition within the churches and there's no competition between us because we were just coming from the United States. | |
| So they see us as someone that impartial coming to the nation to really awaken the people. | |
| So we have seen this like beautifully done that all leaders want to be part of it of the church. | |
| And we see the government too. | |
| Because even yesterday, I had a group of the government ask, we wanted to be a part of this. | |
| How can we get involved? | |
| How can we be praying with you guys? | |
| So we are creating a group of people that are in the politics right now. | |
| Of course, we don't have any ties with any political parties there, but they wanted to help also in prayer and fasting with us. | |
| So it's beautiful to see all the mountains of influence, religion, the government, being involved and seeing, this is an answer from God for us, and we need to be part of this. | |
| Rebecca, how is this movement calling people to stand in their God-given authority? | |
| Because you're not just going there to get prayed over and to fast for something and you walk out the same way you walked in. | |
| You're really trying to emphasize the fact that you have authority in Jesus Christ. | |
| So how does an event like this, maybe starting with the one in DC to now the one in Brazil, how does this show someone, hey, you have authority in Jesus Christ? | |
| Yes. | |
| Well, I mean, it's a call from the Lord, and we have authority in him. | |
| And, you know, there's a group of people, these Esther's and Mordecai's, that sometimes a challenge comes just so you can rise up and stand. | |
| You know, sometimes a challenge will come to make you recognize your authority. | |
| And let me tell you, something happens when, you know, when you as an individual pray and you try to take authority or you do take authority over a situation, what happens when yet your family comes together and takes authority over situations? | |
| Things begin to happen. | |
| You know, they shift. | |
| How much on a larger scale as us corporately, the body of Christ coming together as a nation, standing in our authority? | |
| You know what happens is principalities overturn. | |
| That's what happens. | |
| They overturn. | |
| And so does ungodly legislation. | |
| It overturns because this government authority triumphs over this government authority. | |
| Wow. | |
| Praise God. | |
| If there's someone watching and other women are saying, you know, I have spent so many years just on the back burner. | |
| I feel like I haven't been able to do anything for God, but I have a call on my life and I know I have a call in my life. | |
| I want to get involved with something like this. | |
| Maybe I can't travel to Brazil, but I want to be fasting, interceding, praying. | |
| I want to stand up and rise up and be an ester. | |
| What would you say to that woman who maybe has doubted herself for many years? | |
| Yeah, I would say, you know, God loves you and he's got a call on your life, whether or not you recognize it. | |
| You were born for a purpose. | |
| And it's time to get involved through prayer, through standing with other women across the world, all over the world, and coming to that place of repentance and saying, Lord, I know that you sent your precious son, Jesus Christ, to redeem all things. | |
| And I want to be a part of that redemption. | |
| So I'm going to get in this place with you. | |
| I'm going to humble myself and I'm going to receive from you what I need to be saying, what I need to be doing. | |
| I want to come into obedience so that change can be made, not only in me personally, but in my family, in my city, in my state, in my nation, but in the nations like Brazil and the other nations that we're going to. | |
| It's just simple prayers of humility. | |
| None of us are perfect and we're never going to be perfect, but Jesus has perfected us through his blood. | |
| And now all we need to do is step into that. | |
| And so just walk away from any pushback from the enemy and say, you know what, I'm going to get involved today and I'm going to do it through humility and through prayer. | |
| You know, I want to ask you a question. | |
| You were born in Guatemala, Central America, near the you have had lots of interactions with Brazilians. | |
| I know you've ministered with Brazilians. | |
| What kind of fire do these people carry? | |
| Because I know you have had encounters with these people who are there on fire for the Lord. | |
| You know, in 1998, I spent time in Rio de Jinedo in Sao Pablo, reaching out to the gangs and the drug culture. | |
| But there's an anointing in Brazil. | |
| Anytime you see a nation in turmoil when it comes to economics, politics, and culture is a nation that has influenced economics, politics, and culture. | |
| That's right. | |
| And Brazil has some of the most anointed men and women of God that you have ever seen in your life. | |
| You spend one minute around them and it will change your attitude. | |
| It would change the way you smile. | |
| It would change the way you pray. | |
| But I believe, Ricky, that anytime you get two or three gather in the midst, something happens in the spirit. | |
| There's a powerful move of God. | |
| And when I look at the headlines and I look at how important Brazil is to the world economics, it tells you why there's such warfare in Brazil. | |
| When you understand that America in 1906 played a huge part of a great awakening, a revival that took place in a little street called Bonnie Bray Home, and then it turned into Azusa Street. | |
| And that from that moment, men and women that were children at that moment, they became men and women later that turned Brazil upside down and the gospel was preached all over that nation. | |
| I want you to understand something. | |
| The connection of now to 1906 is more spiritual than it is physical. | |
| But Brazilian people carry an anointing. | |
| And I want to ask the three of you this: when you recognize the anointing in a nation, what happens? | |
| Revival. | |
| True change. | |
| True change, transformation, reformation happens. | |
| And then you can see really a new place that the people go to that they can, you know, really walk in the gifts of God and just release the fire that they carry. | |
| So it really empowers them. | |
| It's powerful. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, Dr. Cash, I want to ask you a question. | |
| You brought two books with you today. | |
| One of them is His Sufficiency for My Authenticity. | |
| And the other one is Soul Transformation for Your Personal Journey. | |
| If someone who's wanting to step into their Esther moment, how would these things benefit them? | |
| Yeah, you know, thanks so much for asking that, Ricky. | |
| You know, I love this book, Eight Keys to Authentic Relationship. | |
| Wow. | |
| And the whole women, Esther, Mordecai movement is about authenticity. | |
| It's about letting go of the masks that we carry. | |
| It's about allowing God to reveal to us what do we need to be stripped of and then what aspect of him do we need to put on. | |
| One of the keys in this book is our reputation. | |
| How many of us are willing to let God be our reputation instead of our egos or our arrogance or our pride? | |
| It's these kinds of things, you know. | |
| So this is an excellent resource for that. | |
| And then soul transformation, your personal journey. | |
| This happens to be a very, very special month on the Hebrew calendar, the month of Elul, which represents Hejban Hanaphesh. | |
| It means the accounting of the soul. | |
| How does our soul transform into the likeness of Jesus? | |
| And what are the elements that God wants to break down in our life so that we can truly walk in his power and his presence? | |
| And this six-week Bible study helps people do that. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, Monday, I believe it's important to have resources to be able to let you walk in your full calling. | |
| Obviously, your relationship with Jesus is the most important thing that you can have. | |
| Mondo, it's good to have resources that edify your faith, embolden your faith. | |
| Sometimes have resources that correct your faith, let you know, hey, it's time to get back on the straight and arrow. | |
| I want to ask you a question because a lot of the people, we were talking about this earlier today on the podcast. | |
| We're saying, not everyone that's going to go there is a believer. | |
| You know, there are going to be people who hear about this event and they hear, okay, there's going to be, you know, the Lord's going to show up. | |
| So there's obviously those signs, those wonders, there's the Spirit of God. | |
| So non-believers are going to show up. | |
| Son Powell, I looked up a statistic. | |
| There's a large gang population there, actually. | |
| And I realized a lot of the people, they might come to this event as well. | |
| How quickly can a transformation happen with someone who is currently living an active lifestyle of drugs and gang activity? | |
| How quickly does it take for them to encounter Jesus and change their life? | |
| One second. | |
| One second under the anointing, everything changes. | |
| I believe, because I've seen it personally, I've experienced it personally, that the moment the church walks into a crime area, crime drops 80%. | |
| How do I know that? | |
| The Dream Center. | |
| Los Angeles Dream Center came into what they used to call one of the roughest and the highest crime in America, which was with the Rampart Division where the Dream Center is located. | |
| And within one year, that crime dropped to 80%. | |
| Something happens when the Holy Spirit moves. | |
| Gang members would drop to their knees, not even understanding why. | |
| Drug dealers will start putting their drugs down. | |
| Prostitution all of a sudden changes. | |
| The culture changes when we allow the Holy Spirit to begin to move. | |
| And it happens. | |
| This is real. | |
| Something happens when you gather two or three people. | |
| Now, imagine praying women. | |
| A million women. | |
| Women don't give up. | |
| No, you don't. | |
| Women are going to stay there. | |
| They're going to stand till they see the Jericho's come down. | |
| I believe this is about to change Brazil. | |
| It's about to change this ministry. | |
| Come on. | |
| And we can't do this without your support. | |
| Amen. | |
| This women can't do it without financial help. | |
| I know people don't like asking for finances. | |
| I got past that shame because if we're going to further the gospel of Jesus Christ, we need you to stand financially. | |
| We love your prayers. | |
| We need them. | |
| We need you to fast. | |
| But we also need financial help. | |
| We need every dollar, $30, $100, $1,000. | |
| I know there's people that can do $10,000. | |
| Do it now. | |
| The work of the Lord is the greatest legacy that you can leave behind because it's all about soul winning. | |
| I'll be quiet with this last portion. | |
| That's good, brother. | |
| The Bible says, you want to be wise? | |
| The Bible says, he that winneth souls is wise. | |
| But we can't win souls without finances. | |
| That's right. | |
| They'll judge you, criticize you. | |
| Who cares? | |
| Let's get together and together we can raise enough money to change the world. | |
| If you don't want us to beg, then support us. | |
| That's all it takes. | |
| There was that woman who said she donated Oral Roberts was building his campus. | |
| And I remember what number he was asking for. | |
| I'm going to use a hypothetical. | |
| He's asking for a million dollars. | |
| And the lady wrote the check for him. | |
| And he called her and said, thank you. | |
| I want to thank you for writing the check. | |
| She goes, I didn't do it because a reason I did it so you could stop asking for it. | |
| I said, come on, praise God. | |
| Hey, so if somebody wants to do it, but you know, the work that we do here, absolutely, Mondo, you're right. | |
| You know, television lights, streaming, all this stuff that we do, we do need your financial support. | |
| And I want to say thank you for those who stand with us monthly, who stand with us. | |
| You know, some people do it more than monthly. | |
| And I want to say thank you. | |
| That allows us to continue to broadcast the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world and tell people that there's a real hope for you. | |
| And it is Jesus Christ. | |
| Friends, thank you for standing with us. | |
| You can call that number. | |
| 1-888-988-1-588. | |
| We have an operator who can stand by, talk to you, pray with you, and help you with anything that you may need in that area. | |
| But I want to say thank you for standing with this ministry as we stand with other ministries as well. | |
| I'm going to ask you this question: What is your dream for Brazil? | |
| It's for really like the people there to be with their eyes open for what the Lord is doing in Brazil right now, that they will not miss the chance and they will stand as a nation and say, I am going, I'm going to pray, I'm going to fast, I'm going to repent for the sins of my nation to see Brazil change and for revival to burst in Brazil. | |
| You're going to be there in Brazil, right, Doctor? | |
| Oh, yeah, yeah, I am ready to go. | |
| And listen, God's going to do this thing. | |
| When he called us to join him on the Washington Mall and we all came, he did it, didn't he? | |
| He did it. | |
| If he's calling us to go to Brazil, he's going to do it. | |
| If he's calling us to go to another nation, he's going to do it because he is faithful. | |
| He just wants to see who will come and follow him and count the cost. | |
| And so we're all going to do that. | |
| We're going to count the cost and be in Brazil. | |
| Amen. | |
| So that's give them the dates one more time. | |
| I know they have a QR code on the screen. | |
| So if you want more information, this will pop up on the screen. | |
| You can scan that QR code or you can go to the website, amillionwomen.org. | |
| You can get more information about it. | |
| But tell us the dates, when it's happening, because I know people want to start now, begin their fasting, begin their praying, or even be buying tickets and hotel rooms for Brazil. | |
| Get your passport, get your visa because there is a visa required. | |
| But it's on October 25th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in São Paulo, Brazil. | |
| The place it's called Centro Espochivuchi Te. | |
| We're very excited about having you there. | |
| Just please plan to be there with us. | |
| And if you cannot be there, we're going to streamline as well through YouTube. | |
| So you're going to be able to be with us. | |
| Here in America, we had 10 million people online. | |
| And in Brazil, we're seeing it's going to be 20, 20 million. | |
| Come on, amen. | |
| We're ballooned for that. | |
| We're blooming for that. | |
| Friends, scan that QR code. | |
| Go to that website. | |
| Go and support this movement. | |
| What's happening? | |
| I know that they have a need as well. | |
| So, friends, you can go support them financially. | |
| Go do whatever it is that the Lord has called you to do to support this going out to not just Brazil, but other nations after that as well. | |
| Why? | |
| Because salvation isn't just for a nation. | |
| It's for anyone who will call upon the name of the Lord. | |
| And we need to be the mouthpiece that tells people there's a real God that loves you and He died on a cross for you. | |
| Give your life to Jesus today. | |
| It's the most important decision you will ever make. | |
| It is the most critical thing that you can do. | |
| Why? | |
| Because that allows you to know confidently: hey, I'm going to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ, the one who loves me enough to sacrifice Himself to bear all my sins, but not just stay dead in a tomb somewhere, but to raise up again, sit on the right hand of His Father, interceding on my behalf constantly. | |
| That's the same God that loves you, cares for you, wants to see you prosper. | |
| And friends, He'll do it for you when you are His and He is yours. | |
