Israel Ministry Talk
00:05:51
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today, our special guests are former president and CEO of the Jerusalem Post Global Group and co-founder of Biblical Beauty, Moishi Vars V, founder of Start Again Ministries, renowned humanitarian, serial entrepreneur, Bishop Jeffrey Larson, and former trauma nurse, entrepreneur, and product developer, Lisa Hill, the best-selling author of the book, The God Prescription, Dr. Avery Jackson. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| We're excited you've tuned on with us today. | |
| If you are at home right now and you have a Bible around you, go ahead and grab it. | |
| We're going to set the foundation for everything we're going to be talking about today on this episode of the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| You're going to be opening up to the first book of the Bible, Genesis. | |
| And we're going to be reading out of chapter 12 right here, Mondo. | |
| It says right here, the Lord said to Abram, go out from your land, your relatives, and your father's house to the land that I will show you. | |
| I will make you into a great nation. | |
| I will bless you. | |
| I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. | |
| I will bless those who bless you. | |
| I will curse anyone who treats you with contempt. | |
| And other translations say, I will curse those who curse you. | |
| And all of the peoples on earth will be blessed through you. | |
| Mondo, let's do a little trivia right now. | |
| You know what nation they're talking about when they're talking about? | |
| Oh, let me see. | |
| Let me see. | |
| Let's think. | |
| What are you thinking, Capon? | |
| Who could this be? | |
| 1948. | |
| Who could this be? | |
| Who could this be? | |
| Israel. | |
| We're talking about Israel today. | |
| Today we're going to be talking about Israel. | |
| Friends, we love Israel here at the PTL Television Network. | |
| We stand with the nation of Israel and we want to see, you know, Mondo, I see one day there's going to be a great and glorious day when Jesus Christ comes ripping through those clouds and he comes and sets his feet on the Mount of Olives. | |
| You and I were there in 2014. | |
| Yes. | |
| And it changed our lives. | |
| I know it did mine. | |
| It did mine too. | |
| I remember, you know, filming Rabbi Jonathan Kahn, dad, mom, and you were on the sideline. | |
| Something overwhelming came over me that I asked Ricky to keep filming because my tears just kept coming and coming. | |
| And as I looked over Jerusalem, I said, I feel like I'm home. | |
| Yes. | |
| And it was something that it was overwhelming, but Israel has been a part of our lives since, again, since we were kids. | |
| Matter of fact, there's a young man here in the audience, and he asked me what we're going to do today in the show. | |
| And I explained to him what we're going to be talking about, about Israel. | |
| And he started asking me about the tomb. | |
| He asked me about the prayer garden. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| We do it for that generation. | |
| Amen. | |
| What we're doing today, the legacy goes on for that kid right there, his generation, but it started with you and I in 2014. | |
| Amen. | |
| Friends, we have an exciting broadcast for you today. | |
| We have with us Moshe Bars V. I believe I said that correctly. | |
| Moshe, you'll have to correct me if I didn't. | |
| He's the founder of Love Israel and the former senior vice president for marketing and sales for Motorola. | |
| And Mondo, I don't know if you know this, but in 2004, he served as the president and CEO of the Jerusalem Post Global Group. | |
| He was born and raised in Tel Aviv there in Israel and he served as a tank commander in Division 14 in the Sinai Desert as well. | |
| Mondo, we also have with us today Bishop Jeffrey Larson. | |
| You know, Bishop is a renowned humanitarian entrepreneur, spiritual leader with the Global Impact, Mondo. | |
| We've seen him. | |
| He's helped us really through a season of this ministry to be able to jump to the next season of this ministry. | |
| He's also established over 1,550 churches worldwide and has been instrumental in numerous humanitarian projects, including the Hope of the World or the Hope Center in Fort Worth, Texas. | |
| He's also known as the Bishop of Finance. | |
| I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today. | |
| We also have two friends of the ministry. | |
| We have Lisa Hell. | |
| Obviously, I mean, Lisa, you're an incredible woman. | |
| A dynamic leader. | |
| You've been in the ministry for so many years and people don't even realize it. | |
| You've been doing so much ministry work. | |
| You're an entrepreneur, a friend to Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| I was on the phone to me, Lisa's my best friend. | |
| But you've been doing marketing, you've been doing media agencies, branding, operations, and you have a strong track record in bringing things that our partners love and they care about. | |
| This is one of those things that you brought. | |
| And we also have with us Dr. Avery Jackson. | |
| Dr. Avery, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us. | |
| You're a board-certified neurosurgeon. | |
| You also wrote a book called The God Prescription, which I think we need to have him back just to talk about that. | |
| Moshe, can you tell us what's happening right now? | |
| What's the atmosphere like in Israel? | |
| We've been getting so many mainstream media news reports, it's kind of difficult to funnel through all of them to know what's really happening in Israel. | |
| You're there right now. | |
| I'd like to know what the temperature is like. | |
| Well, first of all, greetings from Israel, you know, the land of the Bible, the land of Jesus. | |
| And I bless you with much love from here. | |
| Situation in Israel has been really tense in the last few days because the IDF have restarted an attack on Hamas, mostly because there is no change. | |
|
Israel's Defense and Prayer
00:15:17
|
|
| I mean, the situation with the 59 remaining kidnapped young and old and women and men stay the same because Hamas is really playing. | |
| But I think that in the light of the latest miracle that happened in the area, plus the effect, the positive effect of Trump becoming the president, I think that for the first time after so many years, the Iranian available wing is starting to fall apart. | |
| And I think from a strategical point of view, that's the key factor that not only Israel would prevail, but also America would prevail the higher level of this confrontation between the evil, | |
| which is Russia, China, Iran, and all of its proxies, versus the good, so to speak, which I believe, and sorry to say today, the remaining part of the good people is unfortunately to say USA in Israel, | |
| because Europeans now are being flooded with Muslims and they have really other problems to deal with because in the year of 2050, which is only 25 years from now, the Scandinavians, the UK, France, and Spain would be a Muslim majority. | |
| That means more than 50% Muslims. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| This is incredible because as you're talking, I'm looking at the headlines. | |
| And let me go through a few headlines. | |
| Actually, they come from the Jerusalem Post. | |
| You must know. | |
| You might know them. | |
| He's been there a time or two. | |
| He's been there a time or two. | |
| But this is the headlines. | |
| Hamas calls for global siege on U.S. and Israeli embassies. | |
| Iran reveals the second one. | |
| Hamas gather forces during ceasefire for attempted invasion into Israel. | |
| Another report. | |
| Hamas issues a chilling death sentence warning for remaining hostages after its prime minister was killed in massive IDF airstrikes. | |
| Can I ask you this? | |
| How does Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu respond on these threats? | |
| You know, I have to share with you first the story about the Bibas family, because those crazy psychic kidnappers and murderers and rapists on 7th of October, | |
| after killing hundreds of Israeli peaceful civilian citizens, they also took seven or eight months year old baby, months-old baby, his brother, who was four, and the mother, Shiri Bibas. | |
| And they killed the three of them. | |
| So when you are dealing with this unbelievable, brutal organization that can kidnap and kill a mother with her two babies, you understand what is going on in this part of the world. | |
| You understand that these terrorists deserve only one punishment, which is to die. | |
| The bad news is that Hamas, under the umbrella of Iran and its proxies, have already recovered from the losses in Yemen that he had during the war, and 25 new Hamas warriors are now ready to attack again. | |
| And that is why Israel have provided now a stronger attack that would be, I think, under the condition that if the hostages are not going to be released, Israel would renew the ground attack, because until now we are bombing from the air, from the Navy, etc., etc. | |
| But seriously speaking, I just want to plant a seed in the hearts of the viewers that the kind of negotiation with such monsters is useless. | |
| Yes, we need and we do pray for the safe return of the 59 hostages, that I guess 50% of them are dead already. | |
| But no, we cannot negotiate, we cannot accept, and we would never, ever let them fulfill their vision, which is a very wide vision of destroying Israel. | |
| And it could be by the kind of attack of October 7th, which was motorbike and, you know, 4x4 vans, SUV, etc. | |
| But it could be by a nuclear bomb that will be coming on us from Iran. | |
| That is why I feel that the Trump administration is now having a breakthrough in understanding the real DNA of the conflict. | |
| It is not, you know, Biden days or Obama days where everybody's saying, yeah, Iran is this and this, and let's make treatment and peace and we all be happy and maybe pay six or seven billion dollars to Iran to be silent. | |
| And I think that Trump thinking out of the box would get us all to a new path, which is not a new path for Israel alone. | |
| It's a new path for Israel, America, and the remaining Western world. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, it reminds me of the story of David and Goliath. | |
| We turned it into a cutesy kids Bible story. | |
| Mondo, David didn't go and negotiate with Goliath. | |
| He did what he knew he had to do to protect the Israelis. | |
| He killed Goliath. | |
| That's what sometimes has to happen when you're dealing with people like this, friends. | |
| We've seen war. | |
| We don't want war. | |
| But if you want war with God's people, God will protect his people. | |
| And we pray for the peace of Israel. | |
| We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. | |
| We pray that these countries who are attacking maliciously will have a face-to-face encounter with Jesus Christ and get radically slaved. | |
| That is the first and foremost. | |
| So, Mondo, we've seen it first and foremost. | |
| We've seen the videos. | |
| We've seen the horrific things that they've done. | |
| I mean, I want to know if you remember whenever October 7th happened, we were getting sent videos, the raw footage of the killings that were happening, going into homes, putting babies in ovens. | |
| And we have people now on the internet trying to say, well, none of that happened. | |
| None of that happened. | |
| They're trying to deny it. | |
| In the same capacity, they try to deny the Holocaust. | |
| Friends, it did happen. | |
| It was very real. | |
| And you can never take that away from the Jewish people that they experienced that as a whole. | |
| It wasn't just a city. | |
| It was an entire nation that they are seeking to attack. | |
| That is why we as Christian believers in the United States of America have to get off of our luxurious, hypothetical lazy boys and do something. | |
| We have to support the nation of Israel in prayer and fasting. | |
| We have to support the nation of Israel with our finances even when we can. | |
| But friends, we need to ensure that the nation of Israel is safe and secure. | |
| We're the number one ally, the United States, the number one ally of Israel. | |
| And we need to continue to be the number one ally of Israel. | |
| I stand by that statement. | |
| In America, we don't understand the concept of loyalty a lot of times. | |
| No. | |
| Because loyalty comes with a price. | |
| The last few administrations have sold a great bill of goods to the American people about Israel that is a lie. | |
| Well, they just never followed through on. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| When you have a nation that really, they don't need America at the end of the day. | |
| They have the greatest military, one of the greatest intelligence forces in the world, but it is in our benefit in America to stand with Israel because of the promise that the gospel tells us from Genesis all the way to Revelation. | |
| That's right. | |
| Genesis 12, 2, and 3. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| We as the church, listen, I am amazed, Ricky, how many people in the Christian community are rejecting Israel. | |
| Yeah, well, they believe replacement theology, which I told Dr. Avery, I'll stand by this. | |
| It's opinion theology. | |
| And when we became a Christian, we lost our right to an opinion. | |
| I will happily sit down with anybody and have a scholarly debate verse for verse against why we haven't replaced Israel as that. | |
| Yes, we are grafted in. | |
| And thank God we are as Gentiles grafted into the family of Jesus Christ. | |
| Jesus said it very clearly. | |
| He came first for the lost sheep of the house of what? | |
| Israel. | |
| Friends, we're grafted in, and we should be thanking the Lord every time we hit our knees to pray that we can be brothers and sisters to our Jewish counterparts, friends. | |
| Amen. | |
| I stand by that. | |
| We need to continue to support Israel. | |
| We need to continue to pour into Israel. | |
| And I'm excited. | |
| We're going to be talking about something that has been a fire in my heart lately. | |
| And I want to just dive right into it if we can, Bishop. | |
| We are doing a prayer garden at Yardanit. | |
| Did I say that correct? | |
| You did. | |
| I want to say that correct. | |
| And I want to just dive into what is this? | |
| Why is it significant? | |
| And why should Christian believers get behind this? | |
| Well, first, I'd like to continue what you were saying there a moment ago. | |
| There's so much anti-Semitism out in the world right now, and there's so much negative press that is that is on purpose. | |
| It's purposeful. | |
| Let me just say that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. | |
| And the same God that in Genesis 12 said, I'll bless those that bless you, is the same God that changed the name of Jacob in Genesis chapter 32 to Israel. | |
| That's right. | |
| And it's the same God that said, This is my land. | |
| These are my people. | |
| They are God's precious people. | |
| This is God's precious land. | |
| They've been there for thousands of years. | |
| I mean, people want to deny, you have temple denialism as well as all kinds of other things. | |
| They want to deny that Solomon's temple was ever there, you know, a thousand years BC, or excuse me, and then the second temple coming in, you know, first temple, a thousand or so BC, and the second temple about 500 BC. | |
| And then they want to say, oh, well, it belongs to Islam. | |
| It belongs to this. | |
| It's not the case. | |
| That is the apple of God's eye. | |
| It's probably fodder for another conversation, but I believe, and I'm just going to show this out there, I believe that Israel is the creation point of Eden. | |
| And I'll show you biblically why I believe that. | |
| And I may get some scoffers, but this is God's land. | |
| And if he doesn't change, and if the giftings and callings of God are without repentance, they're still his land. | |
| And Messiah still came from Israel. | |
| And he was a Jew. | |
| And he didn't come to abolish any of the laws. | |
| He came to fulfill them all. | |
| And he did that. | |
| And so he came as a Jew and he fulfilled the Jewish feasts and everything else. | |
| And so we as Christians have our roots in there. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know what? | |
| What's so amazing is that God has a way to remind us that we are to be servants to God. | |
| That's right. | |
| There's a young man. | |
| I keep referring to this young kid. | |
| Don't show the camera. | |
| We don't have permission from him or his family to show him. | |
| But I just researched his name. | |
| And the meaning of his name in Hebrew means servant of God. | |
| Amen. | |
| Hallelujah. | |
| I don't think it's coincidence that this young man is sitting in the audience right now and he doesn't understand what we're saying, by the way. | |
| He's fluently in Spanish. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| It's a reminder that we are to serve God. | |
| We are called to be servants of God. | |
| And it's no coincidence that God is reminding us through a little boy in the audience with the meaning of his name, servant of God. | |
| Amen. | |
| I think we are at a pitiful moment right now that the church cannot forget its identity. | |
| Amen. | |
| We, as individuals, we are not called to build our kingdom. | |
| We are called to build his kingdom. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's all about his kingdom. | |
| Friends, I want you to watch this right now. | |
| It's about the prayer garden at Yardanite. | |
| We're going to be partnering and building that. | |
| Some of you have already joined, and some of you have been asking how can we continue to partner. | |
| Well, this is how, and this is exactly what it's going to be when you partner with this prayer garden. | |
| Shalushalom, Yerushalayim. | |
| As we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we welcome you to Yardinit, the historic baptismal site at the southern point of the Sea of Galilee, where more than 900,000 believers come each year to be baptized in the same waters where Yeshua Jesus was baptized, immersed by Jochan, John the Baptist. | |
| While the spiritual experience here is profound, visitors face challenges due to limited facilities. | |
| That's why we are embarking on a transformative project. | |
| The prayer garden at Yardinet will be a serene sanctuary for reflection with memorial walls etched in Jerusalem stone, a symbol of shared unity of both Christians and Jews. | |
| Join us in this divine mission for just $250. | |
| Have your name engraved on the garden wall and create a lasting legacy. | |
| Support Israel. | |
| Become a watchman on the wall. | |
| Tell us more about this, becoming a watchman on the wall. | |
| Okay, so you know, in Isaiah, we can read about being a watchman on the wall. | |
| One of the things it says when it talks about a watchman is that they're always vigilant. | |
| Yes. | |
| They're not sitting back in their laurels. | |
| They're not on their lazy voice, as you shared. | |
| That's right. | |
| But a watchman on the wall is one that prays for, that watches out for the security of a place. | |
| Let's look at Israel here for a moment here. | |
| Right in the midst of this war, when everybody in the world seems to be turning against Israel, Moshe has worked with the kibbutz nearby and the baptismal site, the traditional baptismal site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, a place called Yard and Eat. | |
| And right in the midst of this struggle, we want to sow peace. | |
| And so the idea came to build a prayer garden outside of the baptismal facilities where about a million people a year come to get baptized in remembrance of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the beginning of Jesus' ministry. | |
|
A Place to Pray and Meditate
00:05:02
|
|
| So we have the land right adjacent to that, and we're going to put a beautiful peace garden in there to remind the world that the Christians love and support Israel. | |
| Moshe, tell us more about this prayer garden and what it means for Israel. | |
| Tell us about the location and what it means for you living in Israel. | |
| Well, personally, I'm almost in tears hearing my very good friend Bishop Jeffrey, because I think that this is the time to stand with Israel. | |
| And I think that I can personally say that I was involved with this project for the last five years. | |
| It took me three years to get the permission. | |
| And then the war came, so another year and a half. | |
| But you know, God is so truthful and powerful. | |
| And I knew for sure that he would know exactly when and what. | |
| So this location is right on the intersection where the Sea of Galilee meets the Jordan River. | |
| And for the last 40 years, this has been, I think, the most beautiful place in the Galilee, where, as Bishop Larson just said, nearly one million Christians are coming to visit and baptize and enjoy the good vibe and the great energy of the place. | |
| However, because there are so many people there in my so many hundreds of visits together with Christian friends and partners, it seems to be very strange that people are coming and going without really staying and get the atmosphere, get the energy. | |
| And really, besides the fact that they are baptized and get deep into the holy water of the Jordan River and get, you know, the memory and the energy of Jesus and John the Baptist, there is no real place to meditate. | |
| There is no real place to pray. | |
| And above all, there is no real place to leave a legacy. | |
| And for me, leaving a legacy that I, John Smith, stand with Israel and therefore I put my legacy for generations to come on this wall of bricks. | |
| And this brick will be made of Jerusalem stone and would be put on the wall right in front of the river where millions of our generation and next generation would be able to celebrate the phenomenal idea of Christians and Jews that are coming together to pray and meditate. | |
| And the fact that this garden would be, I don't know, about two acres and would host so many millions in years to come that would be able to have this joyful prayer and meditation and to walk, | |
| you know, forgive me for becoming so highly dramatic, but I think to walk in this kind of man-made heaven, because it would be the first time that after the baptize, | |
| instead of running back to the bus, people now would have a place to relaxation, to think about their faith, to pray in person to God, and to walk along the names of so many lovers of Israel that have put their soul, | |
| heart, and sorry to speak, even blessing to put their names on the walls and on the memorial names that are here to stay for generations to come. | |
| And my dream and my vision, that this project is only, you know, one third on its path and on its way because our next step would be to establish there a TV studio that would allow so many pastors that are coming with the groups, but they would now be allowed to broadcast directly from our TV studio at the Ardennid Prayer Garden. | |
| And this plan is to be followed with the footsteps of Jesus Museum that would be hopefully open between 2026 to 2027. | |
|
Significant Unity Initiative
00:15:30
|
|
| And I can see that in the next coming years, millions of Christians will be coming to celebrate the victory of Israel, the victory of Israel and the U.S., and the defeat of the evil, because we all seek good. | |
| And we, as good seekers, we must prevail for the Western free world. | |
| Because if not, we would all become Iran and we would all become Russia and we would all become North Korea. | |
| So the importance of Israel is to give a hand to America, to the greatest nations in the world, and to become, forgive me for saying, a light tower for big America. | |
| So Israel is helping America where to go in order to seek for the righteousness and the good. | |
| You know, when I think about Latinos all over America, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, Costa Rica, they're standing with Israel. | |
| And when I realize the church has to be one of those that can stand with Israel as well. | |
| But Bishop, the significance of this project is amazing. | |
| I want to know, so our audience can understand, what is the significance of the Jerusalem stone that is going to be used for this project? | |
| When discussing how to do this project, which is going to be this beautiful prayer garden of meditation with beautiful cypress trees and fig trees and flowers and everything, just a place to just go and reflect. | |
| I mean, look, we're looking at the launching of our Messiah's ministry right over here. | |
| Yes. | |
| So when we're looking at this, we didn't want to make this the Moshe Bars V Memorial Garden or the Lisa Hill or the Dr. Jackson Memorial Garden. | |
| What we wanted to do was involve everyone. | |
| We wanted to show unity between Christians and Jews. | |
| And when I think of Israel, and most people, when we think of it, what's one of the first things we think of? | |
| We think of that Western Wall. | |
| We think of that Jerusalem stone wall, the look of that. | |
| The Jerusalem stone indicates longevity. | |
| It shows how long the Jewish presence has been in that land. | |
| The things that have survived there are out of this stone. | |
| It is one of those memorials for time. | |
| So instead of having a single funder, a single guy put up the money and hey, we put a garden in. | |
| Isn't that cool? | |
| We said, let's get the church involved. | |
| Let's bring the individuals in. | |
| Let's make this legacy. | |
| And I call it a legacy because if people aren't understanding, and I know they're showing on the screen at this point and stuff, names carved in stone. | |
| We're literally going to take a piece of Jerusalem stone and engrave a person's name or a family name in there that helps them. | |
| It's for $250. | |
| The money is going to go partially to build the garden, but also there's a number of other things that helps. | |
| But they're going to get a plaque carved, a stone carved with their name in it, and we will install that in the walls and the paths around the garden. | |
| There's room for about 100,000 stones. | |
| And so we want to get 100,000, and that's a small number of believers. | |
| We'll get 100,000 people right off the bat that will put money up and we will do this. | |
| Now, I look at this kind of selfishly because I want my grandkids to go to this spot. | |
| I want them to go to Yardneet. | |
| I want to experience a baptism, but I want them to see my wife and I's name on that wall, that we stood with Israel, that we left a legacy. | |
| And so we've opened this up to individuals and families and a group can do it, a church can do it, whatever. | |
| We've opened this up. | |
| And so by having that Jerusalem stone plaque, I may be exaggerating here, but I don't think so. | |
| But I think time is short. | |
| As Pastor Ricky said, I think Christ's return is upon us. | |
| And I think there'll be a time walking through that garden, even during Christ's rule and reign, that we'll be able to look at that wall and say, look at what Christians did. | |
| They stood with the land of Israel. | |
| People can do it now, right? | |
| That's right. | |
| They can do it right now. | |
| You can go check out this affiliate program we have, Prayer Garden at Yardene. | |
| You can see it on our affiliate site. | |
| We'll put it up there so you can not miss exactly which one it is. | |
| Or you can call our number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| You can see the website right there. | |
| It's supporting Israel. | |
| We're building a prayer garden at the Jordan River right there. | |
| And this is a way that we can leave our legacy as Christian believers. | |
| Now, Dr. Jackson, I want to ask you if it's okay. | |
| You're here on the broadcast with us. | |
| You're a doctor, a board-certified neurosurgeon. | |
| Why are you getting behind this project with Israel? | |
| Well, one of the reasons is because of their PTSD program that a portion, a percentage of the proceeds will go to support. | |
| We have no idea in America that there are anywhere between 500,000 and a million people, both civilians and non-civilians, that are suffering from what has happened over the last couple of years with this war. | |
| I mean, it is horrific. | |
| So Dr. One of the doctors that are a PhD there at the number one hospital in Israel and the number top 10 hospital in the world has stepped forward and she has an amazing PTSD program where it's a 12 to 6 week program where they take groups through, but also individuals through to help them heal and help the families heal from this process. | |
| So I think it's a wonderful opportunity to address PTSD, which is a major, major issue. | |
| And we see it here in America as well. | |
| So we understand that it can devastate an entire family. | |
| And so to have this program supported, the PTSD program is just absolutely amazing. | |
| That is incredible. | |
| And I would clarify that a tithe of that money that's sent in, we're actually tithing into that community by taking 10% of what goes over there to fight PTSD and to help the people. | |
| So yes, we're leaving a legacy, but as you said, we're helping people right now. | |
| Right now. | |
| And by the way, these programs are already active. | |
| We're not waiting to start doing this. | |
| They are treating PTSD right now. | |
| And they need us to start. | |
| Because the government can only provide a certain amount. | |
| And so they're lacking in funds. | |
| I mean, they have to support the staff and so forth. | |
| So by having these funds in, it'll just infuse a huge amount of support that they're really needing because they're lacking. | |
| Today, $250 is what you spend on a restaurant today. | |
| If the four of us, one, two, three, four, five of us, I'm not good on math, but the five of us, if we go out to dinner right now to a restaurant in Branson, it will be about $250. | |
| Yeah, if not, yeah, guaranteed easily. | |
| And no one will ever think about it ever again. | |
| That's right. | |
| But $250 makes a difference because this is what you're contributing to. | |
| The donations will be directly supporting the preparation, the design, the landscape, the construction, the installation of the wall garden. | |
| And a small portion of your donation will help Israeli families recover from PTSD. | |
| $250 is doing all of this. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| That is an unbelievable legacy that you can join right now. | |
| Listen, write this number down because I know you're going to think about it. | |
| I know you're going to talk about it with your husband. | |
| You're going to bring it up to your family. | |
| And if you have a church, I want the church. | |
| Get the name of the church, right? | |
| And bring the church people together and say, hey, let's all do $10, $100. | |
| Let's all bring it together. | |
| But write this number down: 1-888-988-1588 or jimbakershow.com and visit the affiliate page. | |
| This could be one of the most significant offerings you can give of your lifetime. | |
| It is connected to Israel. | |
| It is not connected to a project. | |
| It is connected to the land that the Bible says, Ricky, if you bless thee, I will bless you back. | |
| That's right. | |
| It is connection that God himself has promised when that connection, it's a Matthew 18 and 19 connection. | |
| Amen. | |
| Bishop, I want to ask you this question. | |
| I know you guys have had individuals sign up to be a part of this program so far. | |
| Have you guys, like Monda said, have you guys had churches yet say, hey, we want our church name on it? | |
| Yeah, we've actually started reaching out to churches and we welcome pastors to call that because we do have a special program to where we would put a portion back into the church and local ministries as well. | |
| What we didn't want to do is to just, okay, well, they took my money. | |
| I'll never see something from it. | |
| Yeah, well, that was nice. | |
| I don't know what it did. | |
| So giving of this $250 really has a couple different directions. | |
| It goes in. | |
| One, if a church is involved in garnering people to come in to buy that, we want to give a tithe of the portion back to that church for the local ministry right there. | |
| So we can support the Christians and the Jews, whatever, but we can support right in that area. | |
| And then, secondly, a tithe, as he said, going towards PTSD. | |
| So we have a special program for churches to be involved, and we have all of the materials for them. | |
| We have the landing page for pastors. | |
| They can get posters. | |
| They can get, you know, videos, everything else. | |
| We have everything created for them at this point. | |
| You guys, I want to make something clear because I think you have to understand the kind of exclusive this is for the PTL network, for you or audience or partners. | |
| You guys decided to launch this with this ministry first. | |
| Yes. | |
| Why, Bishop? | |
| Why this ministry? | |
| You know, it's your heart. | |
| Jim Baker has stood with Israel. | |
| He loves Israel. | |
| He's stood by them through thick and thin since day one when he walked out for the first time and his first public appearances, whatever, have always been in support of Israel. | |
| And I tell you for me, and I'm not just sucking up to the boss over here. | |
| It is an honor to be here because of that stance. | |
| And there are so many believers and bloggers or influencers that are timid to stand because the flow of the media is anti-Israel, anti-Israel, anti-Israel. | |
| But I would rather be on the side of the Most High God. | |
| Amen. | |
| Yeah. | |
| It's the only side you want to be on. | |
| We said it was at a moment ago that Israel probably didn't need America or whatever. | |
| Well, technically, if the whole world were against them, including America, they still have God. | |
| They still will exist forever. | |
| As you mentioned in the beginning, Messiah is going to return. | |
| That's right. | |
| And whether you believe in Messiah or not really isn't consequential in the facts that he's still returning, that the monopolists is going to split in two at his return. | |
| And then he and the father are going to sit, and according to the book of Daniel, they are judgment. | |
| They are going to judge the nations. | |
| And so Israel plays a vital, vital part in this. | |
| And so to be involved with them, Jesus still loves Israel. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| He came for them. | |
| As Paul said in Romans, we're grafted in. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, he blinded the eyes and stuff so that the Gentiles could come in and have salvation. | |
| And so what better way to show love back than to love the very people that our Messiah that we believe in came from? | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| Could we get a brick that says the PTL Television Network? | |
| Could we do that as a network? | |
| Of course. | |
| Let's do that, Mondo. | |
| Wouldn't that be fun? | |
| That would be fun. | |
| Let's do that. | |
| I think our church name, too, we should get one with our church name on it. | |
| We got at least two right there. | |
| I think our church, our network. | |
| I know mom and dad would do it for the family. | |
| That's right, wisely. | |
| Yeah, I think Pastor Jim Baker, I think we are going to be able to do it. | |
| He gave him a writer. | |
| He gave him a check. | |
| Hey, it didn't say Baker family, though. | |
| I said Jim Baker. | |
| I said Jim Baker. | |
| So we still got to do our part. | |
| One thing I want to say as mothers and sisters and daughters, that we have a responsibility to teach the next generations about what we already know and we believe. | |
| And I believe that this is the perfect opportunity that we can take, that we leave a permanent legacy of our name in Israel. | |
| Many times we give money, we don't ever see anything. | |
| We know it's working for us, however, but this is a permanent legacy for us and our family. | |
| The other thing I want to remind everybody: we're coming up on Passover and Easter when, you know, it's in our mind. | |
| I really believe that to do something that is this significant for our brothers and sisters in Israel as well as for us here as a family. | |
| And we talk about Easter baskets and we talk about, you know, the ham we're going to have and all that coming up on this Easter celebration. | |
| Let's do something different this year. | |
| Let's do something significant. | |
| Become part of biblical history. | |
| Yes. | |
| Call the number today, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| I want to tell you this. | |
| I want you to know that Ricky and I are committed to making sure all of what we're talking about is getting done. | |
| And on your behalf, Ricky and I are going to take a trip to Israel and we want to film from there. | |
| We want to give you a report. | |
| We want to show you that your donations are being put to work because it is very important for us to be very, what's the word, transparent, but the integrity that our Father has taught us is to bring you the report and be authentic and transparent with everything that we offer. | |
| And one of the most critical things right now is to show you the land of Israel and report from there. | |
| And Ricky, I think we're going to make it happen to be able to be your eyes and your ears and your hands extended. | |
| So stand with us, not only in prayer, but I want you to just flood that phone number right now and give and stand with Israel. | |
| Don't wait. | |
| Don't stop thinking about it. | |
| God already spoke to you the moment this program began that the Spirit of God already showed you that you need to be a part of this. | |
| Now is your time to be obedient. | |
| Call the number right now, 1-888-988-1588. | |
|
Be Part of Biblical History
00:04:11
|
|
| Let's be a part of biblical history. | |
| Let's be a part of this prayer garden. | |
| Let's be a part of something that can change a nation in the midst of one of the most chaotic moments in our lifetime. | |
| By calling the number, you are ensuring that you're standing with Israel. | |
| You're standing with this ministry. | |
| And by the way, when they do this, Bishop, they're also supporting this ministry. | |
| That's right. | |
| Is that correct? | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Okay. | |
| Amen. | |
| Well, you have the opportunity to go to that number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| I want you to watch this video at the prayer garden at Yardanette, where you can have your name etched in stone where Jesus was baptized. | |
| In these challenging times for Israel, it is our sacred duty as believers to stand with the Holy Land and preserve its holy sites for eternity. | |
| This is why we are launching the prayer garden at Yardanite, beside the Sea of Galilee, on the bank of the Jordan River, a sacred space to walk where Jesus walked and feel God's presence in every breeze. | |
| We invite you, faithful friends of Israel, to have your name etched in stone, overlooking the waters where our Lord Jesus was baptized. | |
| This act of love will forever link you to this holy place. | |
| Your support reaches beyond the garden walls. | |
| A tithe of every gift will help heal the brave soldiers of Israel who suffer from PTSD. | |
| As we nurture this garden of faith, we look to a future promised in the book of Zechariah. | |
| Once again shall the streets of Jerusalem be filled with boys and girls at play. | |
| Join us in this labor of love. | |
| Engrave your name in stone and forever be part of the prayer garden at Yardinate. | |
| Amen. | |
| You have the opportunity to be a part of this. | |
| You can go to the website or call our number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Moshe, I want to talk about this. | |
| You served in the IDF, the Israeli Defense Forces. | |
| What does it mean to you that a portion of this is going back to help heal those with PTSD? | |
| You know, I'm so excited because now I feel that I'm speaking on behalf of hundreds of thousands of Israelis that ever since October 7th went under this very bad condition of PTSD. | |
| I think it was shared before that between 500,000 to 1 million have been affected with this severe trauma, post-trauma syndrome. | |
| But I don't know if I heard clearly, but I can share that the Israeli government is capable of treating about 6,000 of them. | |
| So, you know, between 6% to 10% will be healed or will be recovered. | |
| And of course, the major problem in post-trauma syndrome is that if you don't take care of it immediately, it would remain. | |
| It would remain for decades until the people would go home. | |
| And I'm so proud that we have managed to fulfill some of the need. | |
| Of course, you know, this is a drop in the sea, but we are trying to do our best. | |
| And I really pray for people to come, step forward, and say what I'm calling in Hebrew, Hinani. | |
| Here I am. | |
| Hinani. | |
| Here I am ready to support, ready to save soldiers and civilians with PTSD. | |
| And I'm sure that this combination would not only fulfill the extremely urgent need towards the victims, but also, on the other hand, would serve a great legacy that is being built here. | |
|
Etched Legacy
00:08:40
|
|
| Because as far as I'm concerned, in 50 years, in 25 years, someone, maybe a granddaughter, maybe a grandson, maybe a son, would go and would visit as a lover of Israel, would visit the prayer garden and would go baptize. | |
| And then he would share the great impact of his father or grandfather or grandmother or grand-grandparents that are written on Jerusalem wall inside the prayer garden. | |
| And for me, this would be the evidence that the friendship, the covenant between Christians and Jews is written in stone forever and ever. | |
| Amen. | |
| Written in stone forever. | |
| That's exactly what we wanted to do, too. | |
| A lasting legacy. | |
| Moshe, I want to say thank you for everything that you're doing. | |
| You're actually giving us the opportunity to go there and have our names truly etched in history. | |
| Bishop, if someone is just tuning in, they're watching the PTL Television Network, tell them again, what is the prayer garden at Yardanit and why are you doing this? | |
| Well, there's a site that is called Yardanit. | |
| And I will destroy the Hebrew language, but Yardanit, literally, Yardin, is the River Jordan. | |
| And Yardanit would be best described or transliterated as a beautiful place on the Jordan. | |
| And this beautiful place is where Jesus chose to start his ministry, and John the Baptist baptized him there. | |
| So there is a site there that sees 900,000 to a million people a year that come and celebrate that baptism already. | |
| What we want to do is create a place of reflection, of meditation, a beautiful garden that people can come and see. | |
| But the really unique thing about it is, is this is a new building, a new segment that will be part of history, if that makes sense. | |
| We have a chance to make history right now. | |
| And so in this beautiful garden of reflection, where we recognize the God of all glory that loves us so much as we're walking there and stuff and looking at things, we that get to give into this program are going to have our names etched in stone and put in this wall, put in the wall all around the garden. | |
| So if it likes, it was mentioned, grandma, grandpa, you know, aunts, uncles, cousins, churches, ministries and stuff, we can memorialize our faith and our commitment of standing with Israel. | |
| And as I said earlier in the show, just at such a time as this, at the time of war and the time of unrest and everything else, we want to show peace and we want to help usher in peace. | |
| And the generations that come will see that we did something, that we helped the nation of Israel, that we stood with them when it wasn't cool, that we stood with them and we supported them and that we had their back. | |
| So what we're offering is the opportunity for the individual person. | |
| $250 is a lot of money, but it's not the typical $2,000, $3,000, $5,000. | |
| That would be a legacy program. | |
| We want average grandma, average mom, average dad, average family to be able to do, as Mondo said, you know, that's the cost of a dinner. | |
| You know, if you have a group of people, it's $250 easy. | |
| What we want to do is take that $250, send it there. | |
| We want to support the local ministries. | |
| We want to help with PTSD. | |
| We want to build this beautiful garden and we want to in honor our honoring you. | |
| We want to honor you, the people that help us. | |
| We want to honor you by engraving your name and your town and put a plaque on this wall that will be there for generations to come. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| Dr. Avery Doxy. | |
| I was going to say, I mean, is love, power, and a sound mind worth $250? | |
| I mean, I'm just because with the PTSD, I mean, can you think about it? | |
| So we're sowing into the land of Israel, but also the people will have their name etched and they'll realize that a portion of what they gave to this garden, the construction of this garden, also help people who are suffering from PTSD. | |
| And PTSD can ravage a family for generations because now you can get into drug use and depression and things that go on and on. | |
| So we can stop this and be proud that we played a role in the mental health of our brothers and sisters in Israel. | |
| That's incredible. | |
| It's a domino effect because you're supporting this ministry through that donation as well. | |
| So I know you love this ministry. | |
| You love standing with us. | |
| You're praying for us. | |
| We would not do this if we didn't have you in mind. | |
| Anytime we have good news, we want to share it with you and open really the opportunity for you to join and be a part of this miracle because we believe that God is going to bless your family. | |
| It's going to bless your home as well. | |
| But when you're giving that donation, that donation is touching this ministry and is touching Israel and is touching your family all at the same time because we're coming in agreement to know that you are helping us to preach the gospel around the world, to be a watchman on the wall for this ministry. | |
| And at the same time, you build in a place that the Bible has always talked about a garden. | |
| There's something special about a garden. | |
| There's something where God dwells in the garden. | |
| God's voice dwells in it. | |
| His spirit, restoration, unity. | |
| I mean, we go down the list, and one of these days we'll teach about the garden. | |
| And I want you to know something. | |
| Isn't it amazing that God would choose you today to watch this program? | |
| Yes. | |
| You could have tuned to another program. | |
| You could have been, you know, late to work. | |
| It doesn't matter. | |
| You were chosen by God to hear this message. | |
| Now, like Pastor Tommy Barnett used to say, now you're responsible to be a doer of this message. | |
| Call the number right now, 1-888-988-1588, or visit the website, jimbakershow.com and become a part of the affiliate program that is touching Israel. | |
| Become part of biblical history today. | |
| And when you do that, you're blessing Israel. | |
| Let's watch this and then we're going to come back and talk about it some more. | |
| Watch this. | |
| As we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we welcome you to Yardinit, the historic baptismal site at the southern point of the Sea of Galilee, where more than 900,000 believers come each year to be baptized in the same waters where Yeshua Jesus was baptized, immersed by Johannan, John the Baptist. | |
| While the spiritual experience here is profound, visitors face challenges due to limited facilities. | |
| That's why we are embarking on a transformative project. | |
| The prayer garden at Yardinit will be a serene sanctuary for reflection with memorial walls etched in Jerusalem stone, a symbol of shared unity of both Christians and Jews. | |
| Join us in this divine mission for just $250. | |
| Have your name engraved on the garden wall and create a lasting legacy. | |
| Support Israel. | |
| Become a watchman on the wall. | |
| I'm Yisrael Chai. | |
| You know, we have such a unique opportunity to bless the land of Israel. | |
| Lisa, I've been watching you over here. | |
| I mean, you're moved. | |
| This is an incredible thing that we're getting to be a part of, that we get to partner with, to be a part of legacy. | |
| So I think this is incredible. | |
| Bishop, I want to say thank you for presenting this to the PTL family so that we can also be a part of this, so we can have our name etched in history so that we can say, yes, my family stood with Israel. | |
| My church stood with Israel. | |
| My network stood with Israel. | |
| Every capacity you can do it, friends. | |
| We want you to be a part of this. | |
| We want you to be a part of that chapter, Genesis 12 blessing, too. | |
| That if you bless Israel, and I promise you, I'm going to ask you a quick question, just a few minutes left. | |
| When you're helping soldiers who have struggled through PTSD, is that not a blessing in their life? | |
|
Israel's 7th Holocaust Warning
00:02:38
|
|
| It's a huge blessing. | |
| And to their family, because they're all affected. | |
| So this wonderful, what a wonderful opportunity to bless the Israeli soldiers and the people because they're also involved. | |
| And they're feeling the effects of this. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| So we want to continue to bless the nation of Israel. | |
| Moshe, I know you're on with us. | |
| Just a few minutes left. | |
| If you want to just give a word of encouragement to our partners who are watching right now, they may be thinking, I want to be a part of this. | |
| I just don't know. | |
| What would you say to them right now? | |
| Well, I would say I would share the truth because I think that not only that God have made this garden available, but I want to talk about the timing. | |
| You know, you're in America, you're always saying the timing is everything. | |
| But can you imagine the time we are living at now? | |
| This is the time to stand with Israel more than ever before. | |
| And I really, I had been around here for so many years. | |
| I was born 1958 when the state of Israel was 10 years old. | |
| And now, after we would celebrate 77 years of independence very soon. | |
| And I don't even remember more critical times for Israel more than the year we are living in. | |
| Since October 7th, 23, everything that we have learned before was changed. | |
| Because this is the first time after so many years that Israelis remembered that the Holocaust was happening somewhere in Europe. | |
| But then on October 7th, the Holocaust came to Israel. | |
| And it was coming with the knives and the rapists and the terror. | |
| And the fact that this happened again for Israelis that were living peacefully inside, so to be called the security land of Israel, must get waking up, lovers of Israel, to step forward and say, no more. | |
|
Step Forward And Say Hineni
00:02:03
|
|
| Step forward and say, how can I help? | |
| Step forward and say, I stand with Israel. | |
| And most of all, stand forward and say, I leave a legacy for next generations because I want my children and grandchildren to know that I was a lover of Israel. | |
| And not only that I spoke that, I was really activating about that. | |
| And my call upon you, dear PTL viewers, to step forward today and to say, Hineni, what a holy Hebrew name it's coming from the Bible. | |
| What a great name. | |
| Here I am. | |
| Here I am ready before you, Almighty God. | |
| And I'm ready to put my name for generations to come and to be part of this movement that is now saying, we stand with Israel forever and ever. | |
| And here are our names. | |
| Amen. | |
| Here are our names. | |
| Friends, we want you to be a part of that legacy. | |
| Call our number. | |

| We want to be a part of that legacy. | |
| Everyone, I want to say thank you to be on the broadcast with us today. | |
| God bless you. | |
| Thank you, Bishop Larson. | |
| Thank you, Doctor. | |
| Thank you, Lisa Hel. | |
| And thank you, Moshe, all the way from Israel. | |
| I don't know what time it is there. | |
| I know it's late. | |
| We love you. | |
| We want to say thank you. | |
| And friends of the PTL Television Network partners, we need to stand with Israel. | |
| And I promise you, God will keep his promise to bless us. | |
| Until next time, friends, I want you to remember that God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| Bye-bye for today. | |
| God bless you. | |
