Choice Determines Eternity
00:06:44
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, Netflix of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today, our special guest is an author and founder and president of the Covenant Fellowship of Ministries International, Dr. James Tan. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Friends, I want to thank you for watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| Whether you're watching this live or you're watching this on video and demand, this is going to be a great show today. | |
| We have Dr. James Tan. | |
| He is the founder and president of Covenant Fellowship of Ministries International. | |
| And his new book, which we're going to be talking about today on the broadcast, is called Releasing the Anointing. | |
| Mondo, come on. | |
| Releasing the anointing. | |
| We need that throughout the churches right now. | |
| We have a lot of dry pulpits, friends. | |
| Listen, especially with the headline that I have here. | |
| California government app advises teens to drop Christianity and embrace the occult. | |
| Oh my goodness. | |
| Who did that? | |
| This is California. | |
| The government? | |
| The government of California. | |
| Governor, I mean, of California. | |
| I'm telling you, we are entering some unbelievable moments in life, and we are going to need the anointing of the Holy Spirit to give us that discernment to understand how to go into situations that we don't understand yet, Ricky. | |
| They're filled with darkness, but greater is he. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's in us. | |
| Friends, we have the light of the world living inside of us. | |
| Friends, the Holy Spirit, God, when he said, I'm going to give you guys something even better, I'm going to leave, but I'm going to give you something even better. | |
| He didn't choose to put it in a black box somewhere out in the middle of the desert. | |
| He didn't choose a building where he said, you have to come visit this specific building to see my presence, my Holy Spirit. | |
| He didn't pick relics or icons to put them in, friends. | |
| He said, I'm going to choose the heart of man. | |
| That's where I'm going to dwell. | |
| That's going to be my temple. | |
| That's where I'm going to sit and rest in your heart, friend. | |
| When you accept Jesus Christ and you say, Holy Spirit, fill me with your love. | |
| Fill me with your compassion. | |
| Fill me with your discipline. | |
| Fill me with conviction. | |
| Friends, you're allowing the Holy Spirit to clean out the interchambers of your heart. | |
| Even David said it. | |
| Clean out the parts of my heart that I don't even know I've sinned. | |
| Clean out everything. | |
| And friends, when the Holy Spirit does a deep clean, the Holy Spirit is thorough. | |
| And Mondo, there's things that come up that hurt, that are painful, that are thoughts that you haven't thought about in 10 years, 15 years, for some of you, 60 years. | |
| But friends, when the Holy Spirit does a deep clean of your heart so that he can sit and rest in your heart, I promise you, friend, it's the most beautiful thing that will ever happen to you. | |
| Have a relationship with Jesus. | |
| Friends, it's the most critical decision you'll ever make on this side of eternity. | |
| Why? | |
| Because the choice you make here then determines where you will spend eternity, friend. | |
| And, you know, I'm not a hellfire and brimstone teacher. | |
| I do talk about the hellfire and the brimstone, though, because it's important. | |
| It's reality. | |
| There's a new, very, very deceptive topic going around that hell doesn't exist. | |
| Friends, the word of God says hell exists. | |
| And if the word of God says it, we believe it. | |
| And the word of God says that it was designated initially for the devil and for his angels. | |
| But friends, I'll let you know right now, if you reject Jesus Christ, if you say, I don't want anything to do with Christ, I don't want him. | |
| I reject the message of Christ. | |
| Then friends, sadly, we become the children of the devil. | |
| And friends, we don't want that for you. | |
| We want you to be a child of the living God, the one true living God, the only way to heaven. | |
| Friends, every other major religion points at Jesus as a good archetype of who we are supposed to be. | |
| You see, Muslims point towards Christ. | |
| They say, well, he's not the Son of God, but he's a good prophet. | |
| And we see Hinduism, we see all major world religions point to Jesus Christ as an archetype of a good example, of a good man, of a good prophet. | |
| But friends, if they all point at Jesus, then we should look at Jesus. | |
| And what does Jesus say? | |
| I'm the way. | |
| I'm the truth. | |
| And I'm the life. | |
| Nobody comes to the Father except through me. | |
| Friends, Christ said it. | |
| I want you to believe it today. | |
| And if you believe it today, call that number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| If you don't want to talk to someone directly on the phone, I understand. | |
| We have a prayer line, jimbakershow.com. | |
| You can click the tab that says prayer. | |
| What we will do is we'll email you back or we'll get on the phone. | |
| If you want to put it in the email, we'll call you back. | |
| Friends, we want to pray that salvation prayer with you. | |
| We want to pray for your prodigals and your family. | |
| We want to pray for your health and your financial state and your emotional state and your spiritual state. | |
| We want to pray for you because we are people of prayer. | |
| And we believe that when we come together, it changes things because we are praying within the will of God. | |
| Friends, it's important. | |
| Know Jesus Christ. | |
| It's the most important choice you will ever make. | |
| And friends, I promise you, it'd be the best choice you ever make. | |
| Why? | |
| Because it doesn't mean life's going to be sunshine and rainbows. | |
| It doesn't mean everything is going to work out perfect every single time how you want it to. | |
| But what it means is you are eternally secure in Jesus Christ, where you can know, I'll go through trials and tribulations. | |
| I'll go through hard times. | |
| I'll get hit by wave after wave of whatever it is the enemy wants to do. | |
| But my foundation is strong and my home will never be destroyed because I stand on the word of God and I stand on the promises of God and I stand on my relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. | |
| Friends, that is something we want you to do today. | |
| Call that number. | |
| And if you want to just call for prayer for someone else, please do so. | |
| We want to minister with you, to you. | |
| And sometimes, Mondo, they call us. | |
| They end up ministering to us. | |
| I end up getting prayed for on the phone. | |
| I'm the one over here weeping. | |
| I'm telling you right now, friends, we love hearing from you. | |
| We want you to be here in person at Morningside. | |
| Come see our campus. | |
| Come see everything that we have to offer. | |
| We have a lot of incredible conferences coming up this year. | |
| The first one being our Aliens, AI, and the Antichrist Conference, where we ask the hard questions and we are going to get the hard questions answered as well. | |
| Do aliens exist? | |
| Is that a real thing? | |
| I mean, or is it just a demonic presence in force? | |
| Is AI actually in biblical prophecy? | |
| And is the Antichrist alive today? | |
| It's some questions we're going to be answering and some questions I know will get answered. | |
| We have guests like L.A. Marzuli, Bishop Alan Dadio, Joe Horn, Tom Horn Sons from Skywatch TV, Reverend Dave Robbins of End Time Ministry, Vicki Joy Anderson, Carl Gobbs, and we have a lot more. | |

Releasing the Anointing
00:13:53
|
|
| I want to thank you for coming. | |
| He's back. | |
| I'm back. | |
| Oh, my. | |
| The doctor's back. | |
| I'm back. | |
| And you have since written a new book, release the new book, Releasing the Anointing. | |
| So give us an update on your ministry and your life since you were last year. | |
| I know there's been some very big changes. | |
| If you haven't heard, firstly, it's good to be back with you guys. | |
| But if you haven't heard, I just got married. | |
| Come on. | |
| Right down front here. | |
| Amen. | |
| There you go. | |
| We got a lot to talk about. | |
| We're going to give you some advice on this. | |
| We'll bring all the bishops and everything. | |
| Listen. | |
| But you know what? | |
| It's been such a shift seeing all that is cooking here stateside. | |
| On one hand, you see how the Spirit of God is raising up the body of Christ like never before. | |
| And on the other hand, you see the forces of darkness attempt to raise up like never before. | |
| And so again, that's why I'm so thankful, guys, for this show and this broadcast and this network for always proclaiming truth to this generation. | |
| Amen. | |
| And that is what it's all about, friends. | |
| If you're watching this, we are providing the PTL television network to you free. | |
| You can download the app. | |
| You can go stream us online. | |
| It is an uncensored gospel. | |
| The gospel should never be censored. | |
| And friends, we saw that there were governmental guidelines, even other churches that would come up against the message that was being preached that Jesus is the only way to heaven and he's the only way to heaven. | |
| But friends, we'll never stop preaching the truth of the gospel here. | |
| If there's a prophet that has a prophetic word, come share it on our network. | |
| If there's a pastor with a sermon where the culture says you can't talk about those issues, come share it on our network. | |
| We want to deal with the hard issues because they're Bible issues, friend. | |
| That's the PTL television network. | |
| You can go to PTLNetwork.com. | |
| We're actually about to get a brand new website. | |
| This is very exciting. | |
| I'm just, it's the first time ever actually talking about this, friends. | |
| You guys are in for a treat of what's around the corner for the PTL television network. | |
| And it allows us to bring people like Dr. James Tan back on this broadcast and let him share, I think, a critical issue for the body of Christ right now is what is the key for the anointing to be released? | |
| Listen, let me just take this back just one step real quick. | |
| And let me tell you why I'm so big about talking about the things of the spirit. | |
| Now, I know that the PTL network, the Jim Baker show, and all of us have a love for the times we live in. | |
| But consider this in Acts 2. | |
| And this is a familiar passage of scripture. | |
| Over here in Acts 2 and verse 17, on the day of Pentecost, Peter got up, moved by the Spirit of God. | |
| And here's what he said. | |
| Verse 17, he's quoting Joel. | |
| And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God. | |
| I will pour out of my spirit. | |
| Now, notice that as far as Joel, Peter, and the Holy Spirit were concerned, the outpouring of the Spirit and the last days were one event. | |
| Come on. | |
| Now, here's what I found. | |
| I found that a lot of end time folk don't talk as much as they should about the Holy Spirit. | |
| And a lot of Holy Spirit folk don't talk as much as they should about the end times. | |
| But as far as scripture is concerned, they wanted the same event. | |
| You need the Holy Spirit in the times that God has ordained for you to live in because there is no other possibility, no other way that you and I can exist as believers victoriously on this earth without the cloak of the Spirit of God on us. | |
| We call that the anointing. | |
| Come on. | |
| You know, it says right here, I will pour out my spirit on all people. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Then it doesn't say in maybe. | |
| It says, then your sons and daughters will prophesy. | |
| That's right. | |
| Your young men will see visions. | |
| Your old men will dream dreams. | |
| I'll even pour out my spirit on my servants in those days, both men and women, and they will prophesy. | |
| I'll display wonders in the heavens and the earth. | |
| Do you think we're stepping into that Joel 2 season, or do you think there's still spiritual preparation that needs to happen before that happens? | |
| Both. | |
| I'll tell you what. | |
| I think that as far as God is concerned, when Acts 2 was announced, he opened up the way for the church, the believers, to walk into that. | |
| And folks like you and I and us are being trained by the Spirit. | |
| You know, in the book, one of the things I talked about was that it takes the anointing to know the anointing. | |
| Come on. | |
| In other words, I cannot know God in my own intellectual self. | |
| I cannot know God just in my own smarts. | |
| It takes the anointing. | |
| It takes the spirit to reveal the spirit. | |
| And so the times that you and I live in, it requires an intimacy and a walk with the Spirit of God like never before. | |
| These are days, not just of preparation, but days of intimacy. | |
| Days of intimacy. | |
| So let's talk about that. | |
| You know, we have seen a rise of biblical illiteracy. | |
| We had George Barner here with us, one amazing man of God. | |
| They've done studies where they said that we, scary, but might be the most illiterate generation that has ever lived. | |
| Biblically illiterate generation that's ever lived. | |
| Let me add another one to your repertoire. | |
| Please, come on. | |
| This is the rising of illiteracy. | |
| The church's biblical IQ has never been lower, according to Pastor Laurie. | |
| What do you say? | |
| It saddens me, but I recognize that. | |
| I think you and I live in a time and an age where there are people who have a grasp or a concept of what the Holy Spirit is and what he does, but are not scriptural based in what they know and how they grasp of a whole of him. | |
| You know that old saying, you know that old saying, if you have the word only, you dry up. | |
| If you have the spirit only, you blow up. | |
| If you have the word and the spirit, you'll grow up. | |
| We got to have both. | |
| We got to have both. | |
| Whatever, you know, again here in Acts 2, think about this. | |
| This is a big event. | |
| The outpouring of the Spirit. | |
| They start speaking in tongues. | |
| People on the street hear them. | |
| And yet look what the Spirit of God brought them back to. | |
| Immediately, he brought them back to Joel 2. | |
| That's right. | |
| In other words, the word, Joel 2, verified what the Spirit had done. | |
| Amen. | |
| We got to go back to that. | |
| We got to set us a standard where whatever manifestations come our way, the word needs to decide if those manifestations are from God. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have a more sure word, friends. | |
| As we see that. | |
| You know, in your book, how do you define the concept of the anointing and what significance does it hold for believers today? | |
| So the anointing is really a cloak of divinity on flesh. | |
| And think about that. | |
| The anointing is God pouring himself out and through and from you and me so that his life can be made manifest on the earth. | |
| How important is the anointing? | |
| Listen, without the anointing, we couldn't be believers. | |
| Because it took the anointed blood of the Messiah to crack us free from the bondage of sin and death. | |
| Now, see, the tragedy is you'll have a lot of people say, amen, amen, amen. | |
| We believe that it was the blood set us free. | |
| And then they think, but after that, I can live a believer's life in my own strength. | |
| Not possible. | |
| No, what started with God has to be continued with God so it can be completed by God. | |
| Amen. | |
| So there is nothing about my life as a believer that in and of my own strength alone I can do. | |
| We need God to be married to us in every aspect of our lives. | |
| How important, we talked about intimacy. | |
| You know, we're talking about biblical literacy, intimacy. | |
| How important is it for churches to be teaching intimacy from the pulpit? | |
| Oh, my. | |
| Listen, you have just opened up what ought to be a three-week seminar, a three-week conference right there. | |
| Amen. | |
| If we're not careful, in the pulpit, I'm talking about, ministers we're talking about. | |
| If we're not careful, we'll get to preaching a motivational, feel-good, you can do it message. | |
| All of which is right. | |
| We should motivate people. | |
| They should feel good from the word and by the Spirit, and they should know that they should rise up to a higher place after they hear us preach. | |
| But if that's all we do, we leave our folk, our people, our sheep to our own abilities outside of God. | |
| That's where all kinds of witchcraft ticks in. | |
| So I want to ask you this question that do you believe, because we've seen, apart from the world, we've seen people say, well, you know, you have to be a certain sect of individual to be able to have the anointing of God. | |
| You have to be a certain type or an archetype. | |
| Do you believe that the anointing is for every believer? | |
| Just like I believe the blood is for everyone. | |
| I believe the anointing is for everyone. | |
| And here's why. | |
| Here's why. | |
| As a believer, part of what qualifies, the Lord told me one time, the blood cleansed you so the Spirit can feel you. | |
| In other words, God didn't just intend to clean you, cleanse you by the blood, and then leave you empty. | |
| Wants to fill that space. | |
| Think about that. | |
| That space is filled with the Holy Spirit. | |
| How could you have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you as believers? | |
| How could we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, but then claim we have no access to the anointing, which is simply the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit? | |
| Amen. | |
| They're one in the same. | |
| You couldn't say, I have the Spirit, but don't have the anointing. | |
| I have the anointing, but I don't have the Spirit. | |
| They're one in the same. | |
| The anointing is the manifest presence of the Spirit of God. | |
| And he lives on the inside of us. | |
| Come on. | |
| He lives on the inside of us. | |
| All right. | |
| You're bringing up, we got to do a conference one of these days about the anointing. | |
| That's right. | |
| I'm telling you. | |
| There's power in the anointing. | |
| There's people that can sing, but there's people that can be anointed to sing. | |
| There's people that can play, but they're anointed to play. | |
| Listen, the anointing changes everything. | |
| There's power in the anointing. | |
| There's a reason why the anointing. | |
| You don't have to have theological degrees. | |
| Right. | |
| If you're not anointed, what good are they? | |
| Right. | |
| All right. | |
| What steps can we take as believers to receive and have the increase of the anointing? | |
| Well, I think one of the ways you increase in anything is by knowing about that whatever you want to go know about. | |
| Peter talks about how grace and favor and mercy are increased through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. | |
| One way you increase in the manifestation of the Spirit is by learning about the manifestations of the Spirit. | |
| And I don't just mean by your personal example, but by again, what the word says. | |
| Did you know that the word covers every aspect of your life and mine? | |
| And if we don't understand that, it's simply because we haven't discovered what the word says yet. | |
| So, one really, one real practical way is to study. | |
| That's part of the reason why I wrote, I write the books I do. | |
| My books at this point, at this stage of my life, have a lot to do with the things of the Spirit. | |
| Yes. | |
| Right? | |
| And it's because I find that there is a generation, again, there is a generation with a hunger for, but no, no grasp of the things of the Spirit. | |
| We got to change that. | |
| We got to change that. | |
| The anointing and the end times are really the one event scripturally. | |
| We've got to change that. | |
| We got to bring that standard. | |
| It's available right now through Nori Media. | |
| You need to order the books, start studying. | |
| This book is powerful. | |
| This book is going to change the way you pray. | |
| It's going to change the way you understand and experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your own room. | |
| So many people are traveling all over the world trying to get this. | |
| Yet it can happen in the very room that you're in right now, activating by studying the word. | |
| Listen, call right now, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Or better yet, visit the website, jimbakershow.com and visit the Nori media affiliate page and get your order in right now. | |
| It is something that is going to change everything about Ricky. | |
| Understanding and discerning is so key, but experiencing the anointing changes everything because what has the anointing done for you? | |
| How does the anointing change when God has called you to lead? | |
| Amen. | |
| And being called to lead can be intimidating until the anointing shows up. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, what the anointing will do is it'll take you from a Matthew chapter 7 moment to hearing, well done, my good and faithful servant. | |
| That's the difference, as friends. | |
| These people looked at Jesus. | |
| They said, well, look at all the things we've done in your name. | |
| But what they're saying is, look at all the things we've done in our strength through your name. | |
| Friends, when the anointing covers you, you'll hear that well done, my good and faithful servant, because anointing must be paired with intimacy. | |
| It must be. | |
| You must have an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, but it changes everything. | |
| What it does is allows you to have a full cleansing. | |
| And that's the most beautiful thing. | |
| I was like David said, cleanse me, Lord. | |
| Cleanse my heart, even the places that I don't even know were there. | |
| And sometimes that's a difficult prayer for you to pray because stuff's going to come up. | |
| When you ask the Holy Spirit to cleanse you, he'll cleanse you. | |
| He's not just going to cleanse you 95%, 98%, 99.999%, like some of these water bottles. | |
| He will purify 99.999%. | |
| I want 100% purity. | |
| And that's what the Holy Spirit will do every time. | |
| Why? | |
| Because, friends, the standard for heaven is perfection. | |
| That doesn't mean you are perfect. | |
| You're going to walk a perfect life, but the standard for heaven is perfection. | |
| It will be perfection. | |
| And friends, if you want the Holy Spirit to live right here, doesn't mean you will never fall down. | |
| It doesn't mean you'll ever make a mistake. | |
| But a righteous man falls down. | |
|
Feeling the Holy Spirit's Presence
00:02:21
|
|
| And what does he do? | |
| He gets back up and he says again, Holy Spirit, cleanse me again. | |
| Holy Spirit, cleanse me again. | |
| Holy Spirit, sit in here. | |
| And when the Holy Spirit is in a room, he dominates that space. | |
| He fills every crevice of that space. | |
| Friends, that's what the anointing does. | |
| The anointing will dominate the space. | |
| That's why when you can walk into a room, friends, I know you've had this experience before. | |
| You walk into your room, you say, I can feel the Holy Spirit's presence in this room. | |
| I can feel a weightiness. | |
| I can feel a tangible something. | |
| And you're like, I may not even be able to describe it. | |
| But friends, I'll tell you, I had a dream the other night, Mondo. | |
| You were actually in my dream. | |
| I haven't told you about it. | |
| I had a dream the other night. | |
| I told Brooke I woke up weeping. | |
| I was actually going to do my army drill. | |
| I have to go still, you know, serve in the Missouri National Guard. | |
| I enjoyed it. | |
| I drove. | |
| I thought, okay, I can either wake up at 2 in the morning and drive to try to make it by my time I need to be standing in formation, or I can drive over, you know, pretty much a long distance overnight, get there and get a few hours of sleep. | |
| So that's what I chose to do. | |
| I said, I'm going to drive there. | |
| I'm going to get there. | |
| So I got there very, very late at night. | |
| I think I laid my head on my pillow at 1 a.m. | |
| I had to be up in a few hours. | |
| And I had a dream friend and a dream house right here on the stage. | |
| And I asked the gentleman, I said, will you pray for me? | |
| And he goes, I'll be right back. | |
| I'll be right back. | |
| But in the meantime, he pointed at another gentleman. | |
| Could you come and anoint his head with oil? | |
| And I thought, hey, I'll take some anointing with oil. | |
| I'm sitting in my dream right here, friends, in this chair. | |
| And the man comes and touches my forehead with the anointing of oil. | |
| And I promise you, friend, I experienced something I've never experienced in my life. | |
| I knew I was asleep, but I felt a genuine radiation through my physical body as I laid in that bunk bed in the army barracks. | |
| I laid in that bunk. | |
| And friends, I woke up from that dream weeping. | |
| And I said, Lord, let me go back to that. | |
| And he says, you don't know what I'm about to pour out on my church. | |
| This was just a fraction of that. | |
| And friends, do I tell you, I couldn't move. | |
| I was under the power. | |
| It felt like hours in my dream. | |
| I knew it was just, I mean, it may have been hours, but it felt an incredible surge of the Holy Spirit. | |
| But friends, he said, that's a fraction of what I'm about to pour out on the church. | |
| I want to add something and we'll let you talk in just a moment. | |
| I believe one of the reasons why the scripture says, and correct me, doctor, it says, I will pour out my spirit on all people. | |
|
Double Portion Anointing
00:10:12
|
|
| Then your sons and your daughters will prophesy. | |
| I believe that in order to endure the tribulations that are facing right now as a nation, maybe you're facing trouble. | |
| Maybe you're whatever you're facing right now, that in order to endure and not lose faith, you're going to have to have a double portion anointing in order to endure. | |
| I'm happy to understand this, that in order to understand the revelation of Jesus Christ, we must first be anointed. | |
| Why does it work that way, that the anointing has to be the foundation in order to understand what biblical prophecy has to be fulfilled? | |
| Look, salvation is the life of God in you. | |
| Amen. | |
| The anointing is the life of God through you. | |
| That's right. | |
| And you and I live in a time and an age where the enemy is throwing every possible anything our way to move us off the path of the things of God. | |
| You know, I was just talking to Bishop Alan Dideo back there. | |
| And I know you all are talking and doing a lot about AI and all that other. | |
| So let me add my two cents to that. | |
| Come on, bring it in. | |
| The anointing is God's original intent for how mankind is supposed to live. | |
| AI is the enemy's fake, false counterfeit of how he would, he would, he's offering us an alternative route to knowledge and information and all that other. | |
| But God in his divine plan has empowered you and me to have the Spirit of God on the inside of us, but then flowing through us. | |
| Something powerful happens, Mondo, when we allow for God to move through us. | |
| We call it this, the anointing. | |
| But something powerful also happens when we don't allow for God to move through us because that creates a space. | |
| You were talking about how the Spirit of God fills every room he's in. | |
| When we shut the door, and think about this, Revelation 3, we know Revelation 3, Jesus standing at the door knocking. | |
| That's right. | |
| Jesus standing at the door knocking. | |
| Now think about this. | |
| If the church, and that's a good evangelistic scripture, but when you read it in context, we're talking about the church that locked Jesus out. | |
| That's right. | |
| Think about this. | |
| If they locked Jesus out of the church, you know for sure they also locked the Holy Spirit out of the church. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's one. | |
| Amen. | |
| They couldn't. | |
| You can't separate them. | |
| There's no way to separate them. | |
| There's no way to say, Jesus, you go out. | |
| Holy Spirit, you come on in. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's not anywhere possible. | |
| So a picture of that, there will be a portion of people who think that, oh, there is no church to be had without the Holy Spirit. | |
| Amen. | |
| He is the life in our gatherings. | |
| He's the one that connects us to the Father. | |
| That's right. | |
| He represents Christ to us. | |
| Now, I'm going to throw one more thought in here and then you all jump in because I know I sense the Spirit of God come. | |
| I sense the Spirit of God on this broadcast even now. | |
| Amen. | |
| Acts 2, I put to all of you. | |
| Acts 2 is the continuation of the ministry of Jesus on earth, but through the disciples. | |
| Through the outpouring of the Spirit, the empowering of the Spirit, the overflow of the manifestations of the Spirit. | |
| The ministry of Jesus continued, but through the disciples. | |
| They were still laying hands on the sick. | |
| They were still casting out demons. | |
| They were still preaching the good news. | |
| They were doing everything that Jesus did. | |
| But by the power of the Spirit. | |
| So then, Dr. James, I want to ask you this question. | |
| What would you say to those who maybe believe, and maybe they're watching this and they struggle with the issue of, yes, we're supposed to cast out demons. | |
| Yes, people can still be physically healed. | |
| They say, well, those gifts died with the apostles. | |
| Well, listen, the God you and I have is a God of love, mercy, and kindness. | |
| And as long as there is suffering, dying, bound humanity, God wants to see them set free. | |
| Amen. | |
| I think God will stop having to do signs and wonders when there's no more people need signs and wonders. | |
| I think God is going to have to stop setting people free when there's no more people in bondage. | |
| Amen. | |
| Consider this. | |
| What does it mean if signs and wonders and deliverance and healings are no more for today? | |
| That would imply that God no longer has an answer or a hand towards people that need help. | |
| That would make it better for us to be back 2,000 years ago on the streets of Jerusalem with Jesus. | |
| But Jesus said, talking to the disciples, it is to your advantage that I go away. | |
| That's right. | |
| Advantage, by any standard, by any definition, advantage means better than. | |
| It never means worse off. | |
| That's right. | |
| It always means better than. | |
| You're one leg up. | |
| You're a step ahead. | |
| And Jesus said, it's to your advantage if I go away. | |
| Because if I go away, I'll send the Holy Spirit to come live on the inside of you. | |
| And everything that I'm doing now, you'll see come up from your hands. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's like that old adage. | |
| You can see a minister saying, he passed away. | |
| He went to heaven. | |
| He saw John the Baptist. | |
| And he's like, what was it like to be with Jesus Christ? | |
| What was it like to walk with him? | |
| So he talked to all the disciples. | |
| What was it like to walk with Jesus Christ? | |
| And he says, but in this dream, this vision that he had, they came up to him and said, what was it like to have the Holy Spirit living inside of you every single day, every single time you need to make a decision? | |
| What was it like to have that? | |
| And they'll come up to us. | |
| They'll come up to us, the Moses', the Abrahams, to say, yes, we saw God, we talked with God, we interacted with God, but what was it like to have him living inside of you? | |
| You know, when Moses had that encounter with God, when he left the mountain, it says that the Israelites were kind of scared of him. | |
| Why? | |
| Because he radiated from being in the presence of God. | |
| And friends, yet we don't think with the Holy Spirit living inside of us, we can be light in a dark world. | |
| Wow. | |
| He encountered God. | |
| Didn't even see his face. | |
| He was in the presence of the Almighty God, radiating. | |
| And friends, we have the Holy Spirit, the Almighty God, living within us. | |
| Friends, we should be a lighthouse, a beacon. | |
| But the only reason that we wouldn't be friends is because we try to hide the gifts of God through maybe I'm embarrassed. | |
| I don't want to pray for that person who's in a wheelchair. | |
| I don't want to go out and have to kill my pride and kill my ego and tell people, you know, I don't want to be reprimanded on Facebook and put in Facebook jail for telling people Jesus is the only way to heaven, friends. | |
| The only thing stopping the Holy Spirit's work inside of us is ourselves. | |
| Right. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| There is no demon big enough that can hold a child of God that understands who the Spirit of God is in and through him. | |
| Amen. | |
| There isn't because the word says, every knee will bow, every tongue confess. | |
| And who has the name of Jesus? | |
| We do. | |
| We get, oh my Lord, think about this. | |
| We get the privilege of having access to the name of Jesus while we're on the earth realm. | |
| That's right. | |
| And that releases every aspect of the anointing. | |
| So I really believe that God is in the process of raising up believers. | |
| Watching today, watching this afternoon, watching this evening, wherever you're at, God's stirring on the inside of you a desire for more, a desire for bigger. | |
| That's the anointing drawing you into the things of God. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, we've been talking a lot about the issue of repentance, the issue of purity, especially within our church body here. | |
| Friends, we know that there is about to be a culture shift where people love conviction. | |
| You may say, that sounds strange, but we are about to see a culture shift where people love conviction, where when something pops up, the Holy Spirit pops up, they say, thank you, Holy Spirit, where we love repentance, where we love purity again, where we love transparency again, where we love unity again. | |
| Friends, we're about to see a major culture shift in the United States of America. | |
| And friends, we will once again be the beacon for the rest of the world of what it looks like to walk in the fullness of what God has for us. | |
| Friends, people are sending missionaries to America. | |
| The number one country that sent missionaries out for almost the entire well-known American life that we've had here for the last 200 years, we have sent missionaries around the world. | |
| But friends, now they're sending missionaries to us. | |
| And I appreciate the missionaries. | |
| And the missionaries need to continue to come and spread the gospel in the streets of big cities. | |
| But friends, we once again need to stand up and say we will be the lighthouse for the world. | |
| We'll be the number one exporter of missionaries in the world. | |
| We'll be the number one exporter of Christian media in the world. | |
| Friends, I believe we have the ability here in the United States of America. | |
| The issue is, friends, we don't think persecution should happen to us in the Western church. | |
| Well, that's a thing for Iran, and that's a thing for Kenyan Christians, and that's a thing for the Asian and African continents and the European continents. | |
| They're dealing with real physical persecution. | |
| They're being beheaded. | |
| They're being killed for the sake of the gospel. | |
| Friends, I believe everything should be put in context. | |
| We overcome by what? | |
| The blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony. | |
| The verse doesn't end there. | |
| And we love our lives not even unto death, not even unto martyrdom. | |
| Friends, I promise you, once we grasp that concept as the American church, we will see the greatest revival. | |
| It will make Azusa look small. | |
| It will make like what no disrespect, what Catherine Kuhlman did small. | |
| Whenever we grasp the concept that the Holy Spirit lives inside of us and he wants to live inside of every other person as well. | |
| Wow, listen, just because you said Azusa Street and Catherine Kuhlman, I think we need to look at those as prototypes. | |
| That's right. | |
| They're prototypes. | |
| I think we need to look at those moves of the Spirit of God as God saying, here's what's possible. | |
| That's right. | |
| Compared to how you're living and now move on up. | |
| That's right. | |
| So I just love that. | |
|
Walk The Talk With Kids
00:15:37
|
|
| I just love that God can paint us a picture of what's possible. | |
| That's right. | |
| We got more now available to us than they did in 1906. | |
| That's right. | |
| And yet we still can't even. | |
| There's something's wrong. | |
| We can make digital disciples now. | |
| I mean, we can pour the Holy Spirit out. | |
| And we can change that, right? | |
| And listen, how do you change that? | |
| By having the right tools to be able to build your spiritual life into context of what the word says to you. | |
| Listen, call the number on your screen. | |
| Order the book today. | |
| Yes. | |
| You're supporting our ministry, but you're also supporting the work of Dr. Tan. | |
| And let's do it together. | |
| We have an opportunity to change things in the spiritual conviction to know that you have more available now than anybody else ever did. | |
| And yet, what are you doing about it? | |
| That's right. | |
| The number to call is 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Dr. James, how can believers be trained to operate in the anointing? | |
| How should these trainings take place? | |
| And, you know, can any pastor teach their congregation how to walk in the anointing? | |
| Well, yes, as long as you can only teach anyone anything as far as you have walked it out yourself. | |
| That's a whole show in itself right there. | |
| But what I've learned is that I think that there is a responsibility on believers, pastors, ministers to make disciples. | |
| That's right. | |
| And whatever I've walked in, whatever you've walked in, Mondo, whatever you've walked in, God has an expectation that we raise up others to follow along the same path. | |
| So is there a responsibility on ministers to raise up other believers walking in the anointing? | |
| You better believe scripturally. | |
| That's all that there is for us to do is raise up believers. | |
| But yet I cannot walk you through something that I haven't walked through myself. | |
| That's right. | |
| So here's what I tell ministers everywhere. | |
| Fall in love with Jesus. | |
| Make room for the Spirit to move in our gatherings. | |
| Make room for the Spirit to come among us. | |
| And in that, that is the environment by which people look. | |
| We call that the school of the Spirit. | |
| That's right. | |
| We call that the school of whatever term you want to use, the school of the prophets, the school of the apostles, the school of everything. | |
| It's caught up in that environment where you and I come together and say, Spirit, have your way. | |
| Amen. | |
| We need to start having spirit-friendly churches again. | |
| That's right. | |
| We need to start having spirit-friendly gatherings again. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, I want to read this right here, friends, because this is an important thing. | |
| And I want to talk with you about this and get your perspective on this, Dr. James. | |
| It says right here in Matthew 28, verse 18, I'm going to start right here. | |
| Friends, it says, Jesus came near and said to them, all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. | |
| Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. | |
| And remember, I'm with you always to the end of the edge. | |
| Friends, right here, it says, go therefore. | |
| It doesn't say and go make converts. | |
| Oh, Lord, that's the truth. | |
| Go make people who fill out a prayer card and then never get contacted again. | |
| Friends, go and make disciples. | |
| You cannot have a disciple you don't walk with. | |
| Friends, if the men encountered Christ and Christ says, come off your boat, come follow me. | |
| And they said, okay, we'll do it. | |
| We'll give you one day. | |
| We'll give you 24 hours, Jesus. | |
| But we're going to go back to our boats, go back to doing whatever we want. | |
| Friends, they would not be listed as disciples. | |
| They walked with Jesus through his three-year ministry. | |
| And friends, a lot of us don't have the persistence or perseverance to be discipled. | |
| Friends, if you want to disciple somebody, be a disciple of somebody. | |
| Friends, if you want to be a pastor, be under a pastor. | |
| Spiritual covering, spiritual leadership is vital in the church. | |
| Go into all the world, friends, and make disciples. | |
| Make disciples, friends. | |
| Be willing to invest in your brother and sister. | |
| That's a word for somebody right now. | |
| You say, well, I'm busy. | |
| I have businesses. | |
| I have jobs. | |
| I have my own family. | |
| But friend, you never know what that person's gift might be. | |
| And sometimes, friend, it might take six months. | |
| Other times, it might take six years of discipleship. | |
| Sometimes it takes 66 years of discipleship to get someone to the point where they can walk in the fullness of what God has for them. | |
| But, friends, stay steadfast with them. | |
| People go through trials, tribulations, they have hard times. | |
| Yes, I understand that. | |
| But stick with people. | |
| We're in the people business. | |
| If you're in the church, you're in the people business. | |
| Right. | |
| I've heard a lot of people, I love the church, but I hate the people in it. | |
| You can't do that. | |
| I'm sorry. | |
| This is not possible. | |
| Well, you know, I love coming to church to get the word, but I don't like having to turn to my neighbor and tell them I love them and shake their hand. | |
| Friends, we're in the people business. | |
| You should love people more than you hate what they're going through currently. | |
| Because the anointing lives there. | |
| Exactly. | |
| The anointing lives there. | |
| You're saying something so key that most people miss, even in being in Christianity 30, 40 years, because the anointing lives in the people, works through people. | |
| That's right. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| If you're not discipling somebody, you're missing the whole entire process of that scripture. | |
| Amen. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Some of you missed it because when God gave you kids, that was your disciples. | |
| And you missed it. | |
| And no wonder we have a bunch of kids not believing in the scripture because you were discipling somebody else when it was your own home. | |
| That's right. | |
| You're supposed to see it. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| That's the key. | |
| If it works for your kids, listen to me. | |
| If it works for your kids, it's going to work for everybody. | |
| Amen. | |
| Because they see you. | |
| Into the real you. | |
| Not just hear you. | |
| You see, we'll get used to it. | |
| We got Christianity mixed up where we want to be heard, but we don't want to be seen. | |
| My kids, my job, my responsibility is to disciple Mila and Mateo. | |
| Yeah. | |
| I'm not asking somebody else to disciple them. | |
| That's my responsibility. | |
| So it's consistency day in and day out when I'm sick, when I'm not feeling good, when I'm feeling rejected, when I'm because my kids depend on how I'm going to react is how they're going to react and depend on God. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| They have to see us. | |
| You see, the difference between Jesus and the Holy Spirit's experience is that the disciples got to see Jesus, but in the Holy Spirit, they had to experience the Holy Spirit. | |
| That's right. | |
| There's a difference between seeing and experiencing. | |
| Most of you don't want to see it, but yet, how can you experience it? | |
| Most people don't want to be seen because they don't want to have to be cleansed. | |
| They don't want to actually have to go through the purification process, the fire process, the cleaning that takes place whenever you say, God, I'm going to serve you entirely. | |
| So we'll let our voice be heard, but we'll hide. | |
| It's like the Wizard of Oz. | |
| You know, I'll let my voice be bolsterish and be heard, but I'm going to hide behind this curtain because I don't want people to actually know who I really am. | |
| Listen, let me just jump in real quickly because this is what happens when you have a table full of preachers. | |
| We all are going. | |
| But I'm so enjoying this conversation because one of the things that the Lord had told me early on, back to your point, Pastor Ricky, was that there is no discipleship without relationship. | |
| Amen. | |
| Intimacy. | |
| So there's no way I can be discipled in anything just being afar off and occasionally tuning in. | |
| I got to be as up close and as near close as I can be. | |
| Now, here's another thing. | |
| Here's another thing about the anointing that you're talking about the body of Christ and being with other believers. | |
| Think about this. | |
| The Lord showed me this one time. | |
| You know how Isaiah talks about how the anointing destroys the yoke. | |
| The Lord showed me this one time that every aspect of the anointing, think about this. | |
| Every aspect of the anointing to destroy every aspect of bondage is already on the earth, but on someone else. | |
| But on someone else. | |
| Through someone else. | |
| Come on. | |
| other words whatever breakthrough whatever deliverance whatever whatever healing i need the anointing to cause that is already on the earth but with someone else and through someone else come on so when i cut me off from everyone else or certain ones that i may or may not like and i don't like the way you do your hair i don't like the way you drink your coffee I cut myself off from that potential flow of the anointing coming through you guys. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, I've said this many times, friends. | |
| You know, we had a pandemic in 2020. | |
| People lost their lives. | |
| That was horrible. | |
| But what the devil was doing, it wasn't the loss of life that he cared about, friends, unless they were unbelievers. | |
| What he cared about, friends, was the isolation that it came from. | |
| Where we now have believers who say, I don't need to go to church. | |
| I can just do it on an hour, on a Sunday. | |
| I don't need to fellowship with other believers. | |
| I can do it from my phone. | |
| I don't need to go to church anymore. | |
| Isolation was the game that the devil was playing when it came to that pandemic. | |
| That's what he was focused on was isolating the believer. | |
| Why? | |
| To get them back into old habits, to get them back into old sins, to get them back to the things that they have once broken off. | |
| And the devil said, well, I'm going to send a fleet of seven more to try to see if I can reconquer this home because they don't have community. | |
| Friends, a strand of one rope. | |
| If I go out there and try to rope my cattle with one single rope that isn't stranded, they're going to bust that. | |
| Why? | |
| Because they can pull tons and tons of weight. | |
| But friends, if it's two, if it's three, if it's four, I have one that has a 16-strand rope. | |
| They're not busting through that. | |
| Why? | |
| Because there is power in community. | |
| There's power in unity. | |
| Friends, there's power when the Holy Spirit sits on a group of people. | |
| Friends, we can be that group of people. | |
| It says in 1 John chapter 4, dear friends, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. | |
| Because many prophets have gone out, many false prophets have gone out into the world. | |
| Dr. James, I want to ask you this. | |
| Testing of the spirits. | |
| How do we do that biblically? | |
| Well, the very fact that you're even talking about testing the spirits, I think is a foreign concept to a lot of believers because I've seen believers who just swallow everything, hook, line, and stinker. | |
| Stinker. | |
| And the idea of having to test the spirits is even that is a foreign concept. | |
| Now, the fact that we're told to test the spirit means that there are spirits that need testing. | |
| They need to be tested. | |
| So that alone could be a game changer for everyone who's watching today. | |
| That alone could be a game changer that you have to test the spirits. | |
| How do we test the spirits? | |
| Really, it's by primarily two ways. | |
| One, by the word. | |
| And I don't just mean the script of the word, but I mean the intent of the word. | |
| That's right. | |
| The heart of the word. | |
| The heart of mercy. | |
| The heart of grace. | |
| The heart of favor that the Father have towards us. | |
| That's primarily the first thing you do. | |
| What does the word say? | |
| Secondly, you go by the inward witness. | |
| Now, in my book, I talk about how the anointing has three main manifestations. | |
| There is an anointing to grow us. | |
| There is an anointing to go us. | |
| There's anointing to gather and govern us. | |
| The anointing to grow us teaches us, leads us, and guides us. | |
| The anointing to go us causes us to go in the power of the spirit. | |
| The anointing to gather and govern us, that's the apostolic, prophetic anointing, brings us together so we're not scattered all over the place. | |
| Amen. | |
| And what I always tell people talking about the anointing is simply this. | |
| If you don't let the anointing grow you, you won't go anywhere. | |
| That's right. | |
| You're planted and you're stuck. | |
| Primarily what the anointing does is that it teaches us. | |
| That's why Jesus said when the Spirit of God comes, he'll teach you things. | |
| That's right. | |
| He will empower you, but he will teach you things. | |
| Think about this. | |
| Why would God want to empower you, give you a ministry, raise the dead, have signs and wonders and all that, but your own personal life end up and you crash and burn in ways that no one will ever see in public. | |
| That's not the plan of God. | |
| No, God intends for me to live right. | |
| You know, I always tell people this. | |
| One aspect of the Holy Spirit moving in you is that it causes you to be holy. | |
| That's right. | |
| Righteous. | |
| That's right. | |
| Not through our own strength, but through the blood of Jesus. | |
| So the Holy Spirit's not going to cause you to be unholy. | |
| And then you call that the Holy Spirit. | |
| So we can't be successful here and miserable here. | |
| Listen, I've had enough of people who are quirky and eccentric and rude and boisterous. | |
| And we say, oh man, they got a prophetic anointing. | |
| No, they got to get right. | |
| They got to start living like believers. | |
| Amen. | |
| We got to start making excuses for all this. | |
| Amen. | |
| We have to. | |

| Friends, I want to ask Dr. James Tan this important question because this pertains to you. | |
| If you're watching the PTL television network, you're saying, I need a word from the Lord. | |
| I believe Dr. James Tan is about to impart some knowledge into you that is incredible. | |
| Doctor, how can individuals discover the unique anointing that God has for them? | |
| One thing I tell them right away, real quick, is to watch what you are keen to do without being pushed. | |
| Did you know that preaching for me, that's part of my anointing, preaching for me is not a chore. | |
| I'm not up in my room crying and screaming, oh my Lord, what am I going to tell these people when the cameras come on? | |
| What am I going to say when Pastor Ricky asked me, I'm not. | |
| There is an ease and a grace. | |
| When you're operating in the oil of the anointing, there is a grace that comes on you. | |
| Watch the things that you have a grace for. | |
| Focus on the things that you have a grace for. | |
| Don't belittle the, oh, it's just me. | |
| It's just that. | |
| No, listen, there is an anointing on you that causes it to seem normal for you that isn't for everyone else. | |
| That's right. | |
| You start there and you move up. | |
| You start there. | |
| We all start there. | |
| It's like our baseline, then. | |
| That's our baseline. | |
| Whatever there is an ease on me to do, I need to be good at doing that. | |
| In other words, if I don't honor God with what I can, I'm not going to honor God with what I think I will. | |
| Wow. | |
| Say that one more time. | |
| If I cannot honor God with what I can do, the day will not come when I will honor God with what I think I will. | |
| It's almost like the word of God told us we have to be faithful with little so that we can be trusted with much. | |
| It's the same with giving, by the way. | |
|
Seeds Of Faithfulness

|
|
| It's the same with giving. | |
| For all of you that are partners and people who give to this network and this show, I've met in ministry, you meet people who come up to you and they'll say, one of these days, we're believing to give you 10,000, 100,000, a million, whatever. | |
| And I found that those who do ultimately do that are those who started out giving whatever they could in that here and now. | |
| If 10 was all they could give, they need to do that. | |
| If 100 was all they could give, they need to do that. | |
| Instead of saying, one day, I'm going to, one day, I'm going to write the Jim Baker show $100,000. | |
| One day, one day, one day. | |
| Why? | |
| Because everything that God gives you and everything you give God is in the form of a seed. | |
| And have you noticed how there's no such thing as a big seed? | |
| Seeds are always small. | |
| It's always small. | |
| That's right. | |
| Have you noticed that? | |
| You never see someone hauling a huge bag and you go, what's in that bag? | |
| I got me one seed. | |
| One seed. | |
| I got me one big seed. | |
| You never see that. | |
| You never see that. | |
| Seeds always small. | |
| Seed is always small. | |
| Wow, you're preaching now. | |
| But it has to be planted in the right soil. | |
| In the right soil. | |
| Oh, that's good ground. | |
| Can I say this? | |
| I want to thank you for standing with us. | |
| Because your seed may be small to you, but it's big to us. | |
| Huge. | |
| And it's big to God. | |
| And it's even bigger to God. | |
| It's big to God. | |
| But I want to say thank you on behalf of Pastor Jim and Laurie, on behalf of our family, this ministry, on behalf of other partners, because when you're giving, this is the crazy thing about giving. | |
| That you cannot be discouraged. | |
| And I noticed it. | |
| Because when you give, you feel like you're giving alone. | |
| But when you gather all the seats together, you can bring a big bag and you collectively bring a miracle. | |
| And the PTL network, this program, this ministry would not be here if you weren't obedient to give in that season that you found yourself in, whether you were giving $10, whether you're giving $1,000. | |
| It doesn't matter. | |
| What matters is the obedience in that moment for you. | |
| Amen. | |
| They told us, Ricky, we will not exist after six months of going through what we went through. | |
| 18 months. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Yeah. | |
| It's four years ago. | |
| Right? | |
| That's four years ago. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| We're still here because we were obedient to the calling and the anointing that is placed in this ministry, on our family, individually. | |
| And we were obedient to show up because your seed was coming and we showed up to receive it. | |
| Imagine if you were sending a seed and no one was there to receive. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's a partnership. | |
| We show up whether you give or not because we are called to show up to do what God has anointed us to do it. | |
| Yet you showed up because you were anointed to give at that moment. | |
| That partnership is what's changing the landscape of this ministry. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| The obedience on both parties is changing the trajectory of how we're delivering this message. | |
| We are so close to being a debt-free ministry again. | |
| You know, we went through an issue in 2020, governmental attacks, other ministry attacks. | |
| You've seen it, all of it. | |
| And that threw us into a spiral of debt where people said, hey, you might as well start selling off everything, close the ministry, go find different jobs. | |
| They said this ministry won't last another six months. | |
| Friends, four years later, the Lord has shown himself faithful to the government. | |
| You know, it was a malicious attack where we had conversations where they said, we know we're not going to win these lawsuits. | |
| We're just trying to drain you of your finances. | |
| We know we're not going to win. | |
| We know there's no basis to stand on. | |
| We're just trying to drain you guys. | |
| But friends, the Lord is faithful, but he's been faithful through you as well. | |
| Whenever the Holy Spirit prompted you to give, you gave. | |
| Whenever we didn't have credit card processing anymore because the government said we couldn't have it, you guys wrote checks. | |
| We had people putting in money in envelopes and sending it here. | |
| They were trying to give any way they could. | |
| Friends, it is your faithfulness through the Lord that we can still continue to say King Jesus is coming back soon. | |
| Jesus is the only way to heaven. | |
| And we're going to proclaim the good news of the gospel as an account to every single individual we can through this broadcast. | |
| And then the end will come. | |
| Friends, there's no possibility of the end coming until the gospel is preached everywhere. | |
| We're all praying, Jesus, come back. | |
| Jesus, come back. | |
| Let the rapture happen tomorrow. | |
| Have you done your part to preach the gospel? | |
| There you go. | |
| Friends, when you partner with us, you might not have the stage. | |
| You might not have the microphone. | |
| But friends, what you can do is partner with us to ensure that your children, your grandchildren, the next generation, your neighbor, hears this good word, hears this faithful message that Christ loves them. | |
| He lived a perfect life. | |
| He ministered here on the earth for three years. | |
| He was perfect and they crucified him. | |
| He bore every sin that was committed, that was being committed in that moment, and that will ever be committed on himself. | |
| And he was slain as the ultimate sacrifice on that cross. | |
| Why? | |
| Not so that he can say, well, now I have a bunch of slaves that owe me something, so that he could have children, so that he could have brothers and sisters, Abraham's seed, heir to the throne. | |
| Friends, we are joint heirs with him, seeded in heavenly places, not through anything you can do, not through any good work you can do, not through how much money or how much fame or how much of anything in this world you can acquire, but through saying yes to Jesus Christ, allowing his anointing to pour out over you. | |
| And whenever the anointing is on you, Dr. James, we have just a minute left of this broadcast. | |
| When the anointing's on you, you'll do what the Holy Spirit asks you to do. | |
| I just want to add this to what you've already said. | |
| Anointed seed requires anointed soil to have an anointed harvest. | |
| Come on. | |
| And that's what this place, that's what this ministry and network has become. | |
| Amen. | |
| Soil that seed can be planted into. | |
| Wow. | |
| The anointing. | |
| See, harvest is the result of seed and soil, not just seed alone. | |
