Ark of Faith
00:13:49
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today, our special guest is an author and founder of Ark of Grace Ministries, Amanda Grace. | |
| Our co-host today is Mondo Televiga. | |
| And now, live from Grace Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Friends, you're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| We love that you have tuned in with us today of all the things you could be doing. | |
| You're either listening via podcast format or watching live or on video on demand, the PTL Television Network. | |
| We want to say thank you for supporting us. | |
| Today, we have a very special guest we're going to be getting into a great interview with, Amanda Grace. | |
| She founded Ark of Grace Ministries in 2014 with a passion to bring people into a closer relationship with the Almighty God through his Son, Jesus Christ. | |
| Ark of Grace is an animal sanctuary that currently houses 60 rescued animals. | |
| And she has a new book called The Revelatory War, The Epic Battle Against False Prophecy and Deception. | |
| We're going to be getting into that a little bit later. | |
| Why are we filming the show there? | |
| Well, that's what I was trying to figure out. | |
| Why are we not there? | |
| Why are we in this enclosed studio right now? | |
| Just kidding. | |
| We love being with the audience here that's here in person. | |
| We want to say thank you guys. | |
| If you have your Bible, open up to the book of Galatians. | |
| I'll let you get there for a second. | |
| We're going to be reading out of chapter three. | |
| And I'm going to start with verse 7 here. | |
| Again, that's Galatians chapter 3, verse 7. | |
| It says, you know then that those who have faith, these are Abraham's sons. | |
| Now, the scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith. | |
| By what, friends? | |
| By faith. | |
| We're justified by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, all nations will be blessed through you. | |
| Consequently, all those who have faith are blessed with Abraham who had faith. | |
| So the Genesis 15 Abrahamic covenant, he was Abram when he was blessed. | |
| The Abrahamic covenant, that now applies to us by faith. | |
| Friends, aren't you grateful that it's applied to us by faith? | |
| Yes. | |
| And not by works, by action, by slaughtering of animals, not by anything you can do? | |
| Friends, it's simple. | |
| Believe the gospel. | |
| As Peter said, repent and believe the gospel. | |
| It's very important. | |
| Vivando, I want to ask you this question. | |
| How important is it to you? | |
| How much of a blessing is it to you that we're justified by faith? | |
| Everything, because faith and doubt run parallel with each other. | |
| You cannot have faith if you don't have doubt. | |
| And you can't have doubt without having faith because they trigger each other. | |
| Faith is supernatural. | |
| It is supernatural. | |
| Because if faith was just a common thing, then everybody would have it and misuse it. | |
| But because it's supernatural, it changes the way you think, the way you walk, the way you pray for things. | |
| As a matter of fact, it pushes you to come closer to God than any other moment in your life because when you receive doubt, you have the option to choose faith or walk with doubt. | |
| That's right. | |
| We're born into sin. | |
| That means we're born on the doubt path. | |
| That's just the reality of it. | |
| That's how we are. | |
| We're born into sin. | |
| We're all sinners. | |
| We're saved by faith, by grace, by the blood of Jesus. | |
| But whenever you're walking in sin, whenever you're walking that line of doing whatever you want, not serving the Lord, you are walking that doubt line. | |
| Whenever you submit your will to God, you've now transferred over to living in faith. | |
| And friends, we live in faith. | |
| We live in faith in this ministry. | |
| We live in faith for our families. | |
| I know you live in faith, friends. | |
| You might have some family members who feel like prodigals and are far from Jesus. | |
| And you may have been far from Jesus at one point, but you're living by faith that those prodigals will see what they're doing and they'll come home. | |
| You live by faith that your spouse will come home to Jesus Christ. | |
| You live in faith for those around you. | |
| And it's important to live in faith because faith, I'm telling you right now, it's one of the most wonderful gifts that we've been given. | |
| But we're heir to the thrones. | |
| We are Abraham's seed through faith. | |
| Hebrews 11:1. | |
| Write it down. | |
| I know it. | |
| You know? | |
| Yeah, come on. | |
| Come on. | |
| I'm saying I know it. | |
| I want you to read. | |
| I can't quote it on the CSB, brother. | |
| You put me on the spot. | |
| I just can't do that. | |
| Now, faith is the substance. | |
| Things hope for. | |
| Come on. | |
| And the evidence. | |
| I don't know about things not seen. | |
| That's right. | |
| This is a King James I'm reading on the screen. | |
| No, now faith is the substance of things hoped for. | |
| Little brothers always try to take no, I'm kidding. | |
| This is the key of what you're teaching. | |
| Yes. | |
| Because if we understand the substance of things hoped for, it's triggered by faith. | |
| Amen. | |
| Now, we all have hope for something. | |
| We hope that our kids grow up healthy. | |
| We hope that our marriage turns out the way God wants it to turn out. | |
| We hope that our business flourishes. | |
| We hope we got a lot of great hope. | |
| But that hope can be tarnished with doubt. | |
| Yes. | |
| Yet, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence. | |
| That's the key. | |
| Faith will always have an evidence to back us. | |
| That's the fruit of the tree. | |
| Come on. | |
| Yeah. | |
| When we don't see it, are we still able to have the faith to believe and to that faith to hope that, you know what, God can bring us through this miracle? | |
| Yes. | |
| If you want to know why we're still here broadcasting, it's because of that scripture. | |
| Yes. | |
| That the faith is the substance of things hoped for. | |
| Is that King James? | |
| Yeah. | |
| And the evidence of things not seen. | |
| See, my version says, now faith is the reality of what you have hoped for. | |
| That's why a lot of people, I read out of the CSB. | |
| It's a little more modern. | |
| Oh, I like that. | |
| It's the reality of the things hoped for. | |
| Obviously, the evidence of that which you have not seen. | |
| Because the key is this: that our reality is what works for us. | |
| My reality is different than your reality. | |
| We do live in different ways. | |
| Meaning, my faith that I'm hoping for is different. | |
| That's right. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Yet you can't combine them together, but at the end of the day, it's faith. | |
| And faith is what a lot of people are misusing or faith that they don't believe because the culture today is so filled with misinformation and miseducation of what faith is. | |
| The Bible says the clear. | |
| Now, we live in the, let me go back to that scripture in just a moment, but we live in a state that is called the show me state. | |
| Missouri. | |
| It's not the faith state. | |
| It's the show me state. | |
| Well, we have a show me generation. | |
| Well, they want to see it to believe it. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| But in order to believe it, you have to have what? | |
| Yeah, faith. | |
| Faith. | |
| That's right. | |
| And faith is so key because God uses it so he can work through us. | |
| But you know what? | |
| Faith is where God shows off. | |
| That's right. | |
| Yeah, Hebrews chapter 11. | |
| We see, you know, by faith and then all these lists of men who were great, you know, really kingdom warriors, generals of the faith. | |
| And this is, you know, by faith, all of these things were done through them. | |
| And that's why Hebrews chapter 11 is absolutely critical. | |
| Like I said, it's the reality of things hoped for. | |
| I know what does the old version say? | |
| I call it the old version, but the keyboard. | |
| You gotta be careful. | |
| The older version, older than the CSB. | |
| What does it say again? | |
| It says it's the substance. | |
| The substance. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's a good word as well for it. | |
| The reality for it, the substance of it, whatever version of the Bible you're reading out of. | |
| It is the substance. | |
| It is the reality. | |
| But friends, faith, we must continue to live by it. | |
| I'll tell you right now, it's one of the best things you'll ever do is give your life to Jesus Christ. | |
| Giving your heart to Christ is the best decision you will ever make. | |
| Amondo, when you give your life to Jesus, I know you did 28 years ago, 29 years ago, however long it was ago. | |
| Was everything just fine and dandy? | |
| Or did you have to, you have been living by faith ever since, haven't you? | |
| Oh, my goodness, overnight. | |
| Because I went from, you have to understand, my story went from I was making a lot of money in the streets to now I had no job. | |
| I didn't have education to even hold a job. | |
| So ever since I got saved, I've been walking by faith. | |
| Amen. | |
| I've literally have not held a regular job ever. | |
| Yes. | |
| He still doesn't. | |
| I'm trying to figure out what time I never had a regular job. | |
| He still doesn't hold a regular job. | |
| No, I've been walking by faith ever since. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's so weird to say that because people, you know, if I can't, listen, I can never walk away from the ministry on this basis alone. | |
| I don't have nothing to go look for. | |
| What are they going to hire me on? | |
| They're going to ask me for. | |
| Well, tell me your rap sheet of where you worked. | |
| Six and Bonnie Bra selling dope. | |
| And, you know, it's not going to work to hold a regular job. | |
| So I had to learn how to trust God with faith. | |
| And I had to teach my kids through my own life. | |
| Can I share with you what faith looks like? | |
| Please. | |
| Two minutes. | |
| This is what faith looks like. | |
| My wife and I are on a walk. | |
| My wife doesn't have a job. | |
| And I asked her, you know, how much money are we going to need for the rest of the year? | |
| And she said, we're going to need this amount. | |
| I said, okay. | |
| I went to prayer and I said, okay, Lord, I've been serving you almost half of my other life. | |
| I need you, Lord. | |
| This is how much we need. | |
| Lord, please, I'm asking you. | |
| I believe that you're going to supply. | |
| And I quote all the scriptures. | |
| Within a week, God supplied the amount that my wife was telling me that we needed in order to survive the rest of the year. | |
| That's faith. | |
| When you call upon the Lord, when you don't have any resources to go to. | |
| And I want you to know something that God can do it for you. | |
| And a lot of you have had a lot of faith to believe for a lost loved one. | |
| Some of you have believed to start a new job. | |
| Maybe you believe to have a better marriage. | |
| I want you to stay on that path because what changes everything is the consistency to stay with the Lord and understanding that God is going to come through in his timing. | |
| It goes back to what you were saying on the last show. | |
| It's God's will, not our will. | |
| Amen. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Friends, we have Amanda Grace on the broadcast with us today. | |
| Amanda, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast and welcome. | |
| This is your first time on the Jim Baker family show, isn't that, correct? | |
| Yeah, first time. | |
| Tell us where you are, who you are, where you're from, and what your ministry is. | |
| Because from what I see here, you have Ark of Grace, an animal sanctuary that currently houses 60 rescued animals. | |
| Tell us about that. | |
| Well, hello, gentlemen. | |
| I've been praising the Lord. | |
| Listen to you preach, first of all, which has been wonderful. | |
| And basically, so we have Ark of Grace Ministries, right? | |
| And we have Ark of Grace Sanctuary. | |
| So the sanctuary is under the covering of the ministry. | |
| And we are in New York. | |
| If you can't tell by my very New York accent, I was born in the Bronx, New York. | |
| I'm from the city originally. | |
| We're now in the Hudson Valley. | |
| And so basically, the Lord uniquely built this in a sort of way that Noah's Ark was built, where everyone's on the ark together. | |
| So we have two sanctuary locations. | |
| I live at one of them. | |
| They're three miles apart. | |
| Uh, the Lord's taught me stewardship, and he actually raised me up to do ministry by having me take care of these animals first. | |
| Which, biblically, when you look at the word of God, many who were called were shepherds first, they were out in the field tending animals. | |
| Uh, that is where they learned their discipline, that's where they learned to do things daily and be and be disciplined in it. | |
| Uh, and that's where the Lord's starting point was with them. | |
| So, it was similar for me. | |
| Uh, and praise be to Almighty God, because Ark of Grace, ministry, and sanctuary would not exist without Him. | |
| Uh, we do have a variety of animals, so we have pigs, peacocks, sheep, which is very interesting story with that. | |
| We have parrots, we have horses, we have bunnies, we have an African tortoise named Noah, uh, because they live about a hundred years, and it took about a hundred years for Noah to build the ark, so we named him Noah. | |
| And then I'm from the city, my husband's from the country, and we have a pig, so we're kind of the remake also of Green Acres. | |
| If that sums it up for all of you, wow, wow, so you love animals, don't you? | |
| She must like some. | |
| I thought I had a lot of animals, but I don't. | |
| I gotta get, I gotta get on that level, Mondo. | |
| I have a little farm, a little hobby farm. | |
| I call it a hobby, but it takes up most of my time. | |
| That's a lot. | |
| My wife said, Let's start a farm, let's start a farm. | |
| And so, we bought some animals, bought some sheep, some cattle, about to get some goats. | |
| You were trying to get me to start a farm. | |
| I'm like, I don't know one thing about farming. | |
| I was trying to get him to join in with me. | |
| I said, Mona, we can go half on this cow. | |
| And then, whenever I'll give you my half, but I don't want to take care of the cow. | |
| You know, I'm renting my field out now. | |
| People, people, you know, come they put a cow on my field. | |
| You're trying to hustle me. | |
| I was, yeah. | |
| You know what? | |
| I just realized, give me $15. | |
| I'll give you half this cow. | |
|
Entering 5785: Flanked by Grace
00:02:49
|
|
| I just realized something. | |
| And I leaned over to Ricky. | |
| And Miss Amanda, you are very prophetic. | |
| Very prophetic. | |
| And I've watched you. | |
| I've saw you on charisma news a lot of times, and you're very prophetic. | |
| I just realized how prophetic you are. | |
| And thank you for being on the program because so much is happening around the world. | |
| Can I ask you this? | |
| What is God speaking to you about 2025 and the things that have developed since 2025 has hit? | |
| You know, it's been very interesting going into the year 2025 because back in September, we entered on the Jewish calendar, the year 5785, right? | |
| Which was flanked by fives. | |
| Now, five in the Hebrew language is hey, it means behold. | |
| It means it also means grace. | |
| So a year flanked by grace, a double portion of grace. | |
| And then you went into the middle and it was seven, eight, which is interesting because that is the age of President Trump, first of all, when he won the election after we entered the year 5785. | |
| But also, seven has to do with Zain. | |
| It can mean crown, but many times it means sword. | |
| And then the eight is chet in the Hebrew language. | |
| It means life. | |
| So a year flanked by grace that is either going to be the sword or life. | |
| And so I had started talking about that before we entered 5785. | |
| And I remember in December, early December, the Lord had given me a word. | |
| And in it, he said twice, a bang in January, a bang in January. | |
| You know, at this time, they plot for blood. | |
| And he went into this, right? | |
| And January 1st, we had the two explosions simultaneously in New Orleans and in Las Vegas. | |
| Coincidentally, or not so coincidentally, when those explosions happened in those two areas, if you add up that date, one, and then two plus two plus five is nine, you get 9-11. | |
| And so basically, the Lord had started sounding the alarm for me about January and the attacks that would have come in January and to intercede and pray ahead of time because what was about to take place, because we had this enormously biblical election in this nation that I believe would happen when this election happened, it triggered in the realm of the spirit a changing of the guard that went out into the nations of the earth. | |
| And we are watching probably one of the largest changing of the guards we will see in decades that has begun now within the earth. | |
|
False Prophets and Idolatry
00:07:22
|
|
| You know, the Bible warns of false prophets arising during the end times. | |
| I want you to talk about that. | |
| Can you briefly tell us some things that would tell us if somebody's a false prophet? | |
| Because you can go on the internet, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, whatever social media platform, YouTube. | |
| You know, every other day, there's somebody calling someone else a false prophet if they don't like what they're preaching or how they're preaching or the color suit they're wearing that Sunday. | |
| You know, people get called false prophets all the time. | |
| So, Amanda, tell us, what is one of the actual tells that someone is actually a false prophet? | |
| Well, if we look at it biblically, if we take biblical precedent for this, first of all, false prophets lead people away from the Lord, they lead people into idolatry, they lead people to be enslaved by the kingdom of darkness because the enemy allures you to enslave you, but Almighty God allures you to deliver you and set you free through Christ Jesus. | |
| And that's the difference. | |
| And so that's first of all. | |
| Secondly, if we look biblically at a case, and I talk about this in the book, when you have King Jehoshaphat and Ahab together, now they are related through political marriage, basically. | |
| So I believe either it was Jehoshaphat's wife or somebody on that side. | |
| There was a political marriage, basically. | |
| And so Ahab and Jehoshaphat find themselves related. | |
| And so basically, Ahab wants to go to battle and he asked Jehoshaphat to go with him. | |
| Now, Jehoshaphat's a very righteous king who is making a very foolish decision because he's aligning himself with somebody who is in direct opposition, blasphemy, and rebellion to Almighty God because Ahab was, you know, a king that constantly rebelled against the ways of the Lord. | |
| He was married to Jezebel. | |
| They worshipped Baal. | |
| They promoted it within the nation. | |
| You saw the epic showdown on Mount Carmel. | |
| However, Jehoshaphat agrees to go into battle, and Ahab has a company of prophets around him that don't even serve the Lord. | |
| These are the prophets of Baal. | |
| And they're telling him, Go up because the Lord is going to give you the victory. | |
| Now, they don't even serve God, and now they're speaking for God. | |
| Not everybody is authorized to speak for the Lord. | |
| And Kim Clement said many times, the words may be right, but the breath is wrong. | |
| So the source from which the words are coming is important. | |
| It's very important. | |
| And so when these prophets do this, Jehoshaphat famously says, Is there not a prophet of the Lord around here we can inquire of? | |
| And Ahab says, There's one, but he never says anything good about me. | |
| Now, that is a loaded statement in itself because prophets, true prophets, are meant to move with what God's will is and what God has to say, not how they feel. | |
| How they feel is irrelevant in the matter at the moment. | |
| How God feels in his will circumvents that, supersedes that, where a prophet has to move with what the Lord is saying, not what they think about that person in the flesh. | |
| And so Micaiah comes and Micaiah is facing off against hundreds of prophets of Baal, and he basically prophesies the death of Ahab. | |
| That he had a vision, that the Lord had a company of spirits around him. | |
| One of them came forth, said they would be a lying spirit in the mouth of Ahab's prophets, and that basically Israel would be scattered because they would lose their shepherd. | |
| So I'm kind of paraphrasing this. | |
| But this is what happened. | |
| And Micaiah was accurate, and he was correct in what he said because false prophecy will always tickle and satisfy the flesh, right? | |
| And true prophecy will move to convict, will always move people towards the Lord. | |
| We're just vessels and receptacles of the glory of God to fill. | |
| That's all we are. | |
| And we are servants of the most high God. | |
| And you have to know your place in that matter. | |
| So true prophecy moves people towards the Lord always. | |
| False prophecy satisfies the flesh and the greed and the rebellion that man every day fights against since the fall of man at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. | |
| So that's just in some ways the difference. | |
| You know, you said in your book, many of these people in the prophetic have gone rogue. | |
| Their gifts were in them from birth. | |
| Are you saying that psychics and other people that do maybe like, you know, palm reading, stuff like that, could have been prophets if maybe they had given their life fully to God and had not worked for the kingdom of Satan? | |
| Yes, because the enemy cannot create. | |
| So he cannot speak something and it is the way Almighty God can. | |
| He can only take and manipulate and counterfeit what already is. | |
| And so what the enemy looks to do, because the enemy can see anointing in the realm of the spirit on somebody, he just doesn't know what the Lord is going to do with it. | |
| And so the enemy then looks at a young age when children's defenses are not as high as they would be when they're adults, looks to hijack and steal because the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Almighty God came to give life and life more abundant through Jesus Christ. | |
| And so he looks to rob at a young age those gifts and he looks to hijack them. | |
| He looks to take them. | |
| He looks to mold them and rewire them to be used then for his interest and for the advancement of the kingdom of darkness on the earth. | |
| And one of the best examples of this is Acts 16, where the slave girl who had a spirit of divination was following Paul around, right, for three days, saying, These are the servants of the most high God who proclaim the way of salvation. | |
| And she had a gift in her and she made a lot of money for her masters because the enemy wants to enslave so he can utilize because all creation is and man is as a means to his end. | |
| And so that is what happened. | |
| She was enslaved and she was being utilized that those gifts, talents, and abilities that God put in us so we could serve him and his interests and advance the kingdom of God on the earth. | |
| The enemy steals and robs and starts using them for the antithesis of what it was meant to be. | |
| Amen. | |
| That's incredible. | |
| The gifts of God are without reproach. | |
| That means he gives gifts. | |
| He doesn't take them away. | |
| It's just our free will to choose how to use them. | |
| Mondo, I know you know, and I know some of the most eloquent speakers in the world who are going out and they're just doing self-help motivational things. | |
| And we've had a conversation. | |
| We said, man, that person could be one of the greatest orators of the word of God if they had just stuck with staying with the faith. | |
|
What Is Truth?
00:05:36
|
|
| But they abandoned the faith because they said, well, I can get money, fame, riches. | |
| And sure, they're getting all those things, but at what cost? | |
| Because they're not serving the Lord. | |
| Yeah. | |
| You know, I want to ask you this question, Amanda. | |
| In chapter two of your book, it's titled, What is Truth? | |
| And why it is important to understand that my truth is not as important as the truth of God. | |
| That starts at page 19 of your book. | |
| Trying to dive into that and really explain what is truth. | |
| You know, this is what I'm going to do, which is interesting because I like to do this often and I like to do this live. | |
| So basically, I'm going to start off with the definition of truth and then we're going to do the biblical definition of truth. | |
| So basically, truth, the definition is conformity to fact or actuality, reality or actuality, or the reality of a situation. | |
| Okay, so truth has weight to it. | |
| So like what I like to say in some ways is because truth has roots, right? | |
| Truth goes deep, lies float. | |
| Okay. | |
| So truth will go deep and lies will float. | |
| And the word of God is truth. | |
| It is the true, living, active word of God that is active and current for every generation. | |
| And truth has weight to it. | |
| When you speak truth, there is a weight. | |
| When you speak truth, there is evidence of that, right? | |
| Faith is the evidence of things not seen and the substance of things hoped for. | |
| There is evidence, right? | |
| And we, as witnesses for Jesus Christ on this earth and for the kingdom of God, a witness is a validator of a claim. | |
| And the claim is that Jesus came to this earth, Yeshua came to this earth. | |
| He walked with us, he talked with us, he was the word became flesh, he dwelt among us, he was the Passover lamb, he died for our sins, he purchased us at Calvary by the shedding of his own blood. | |
| That blood sprinkled onto the mercy seat. | |
| He reconciled us back to the Father. | |
| We were redeemed. | |
| We were purchased with the highest price. | |
| And the truth is, he rose again and he rules and reigns at the right hand of the Father forevermore. | |
| He is the name above all names, the King of kings, the Lord of Lords, and our advocate without ceasing before the throne of God. | |
| So we, as witnesses, speak that truth because there is evidence to validate and corroborate that truth in the word of God, eyewitness accounts in scripture. | |
| So applying it today, when you speak truth, there is evidence to it, there is a biblical evidence to it in backing. | |
| There is validity to what you're saying when you speak truth. | |
| And truth is able to dispel the lies. | |
| So when you speak truth, it's like a double-edged sword, right? | |
| The word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of soul and spirit, of joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. | |
| So truth also discerns. | |
| When you speak truth, it immediately goes into the situation and begins to discern and begins to divide the weight of the truth from the float of the lie, if that makes sense. | |
| It absolutely does. | |
| What a great way to put that. | |
| Mondo, the truth has been muddied over the last couple generations. | |
| It started with slow indoctrinations, not only from our religious institutions, sadly, but also educational institutions, where people think it's been like a dramatic change over the last four years, five years, whatever it was, to misconstrue what truth is. | |
| But it really has been going on since the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, where they've slowly tried to change what truth is. | |
| And now, the phrase goes around, especially in the younger generation. | |
| Well, this is my truth. | |
| I know you've heard that. | |
| We've seen people say that quite a bit through all the news that we watch. | |
| But, you know, it's important that we have one truth, isn't it? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| 100%. | |
| Yet, what is the root of that? | |
| And we saw the pattern. | |
| Anytime language changes, then the wording changes, meaning the ethics change, the values change. | |
| And anytime you see a culture that is changing the language and the meaning behind a lot of the definitions that we used to hold dear to us, like truth. | |
| Well, truthiness is a word that the left, meaning the Democratic Party, caused in order to redefine what truth is today. | |
| Let's take, for example, when a person cannot answer what a woman is, we have a problem. | |
| Right? | |
| When someone cannot define what mathematics is, we have a problem. | |
| What do I mean by that? | |
| Meaning that they're even changing the fact that two plus two is what? | |
| Four. | |
| Oh, but that's negative towards the number five. | |
| The truth is, it goes so crazy. | |
| Yet we have in the church, we have allowed this infiltration of information to redefine what this word is about. | |
|
Boundaries and Spiritual Warfare
00:15:29
|
|
| That's why you don't understand when you read about Genesis, when you read about Psalms, when you read about Proverbs. | |
| If you don't teach the word as truth, guess what's happening? | |
| Artificial intelligence is changing this truth right here. | |
| And guess what people are going to believe? | |
| Are they going to believe this truth? | |
| Well, I can't believe that truth because how many people had rewritten that word? | |
| Prophet, can I ask you a question? | |
| Are we in trouble in the church when we allow culture to infiltrate a lie and then we're preaching from that lie? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| A very significant part of the church is in trouble with that. | |
| When you allow the serpent to slither into your church, when you are supposed to be a shepherd, and you allow the wolves come in and you allow them to do a hostile takeover of your pulpit in order for the agendas of darkness to be spoken. | |
| There is one of the greatest dividing lines we are seeing in history between the shepherds and the showmen right now in the church, between the shepherds and the Simon the sorcerers, between those who operate in the true power of God and those who are all smoke and mirrors and making it look like an act. | |
| And I can tell you, the Lord taught me this firsthand in a very sobering way because he sent sheep to the sanctuary. | |
| We had Archie and we had Moses, and now we have Archie and we have Joshua because Joshua came after Moses. | |
| And when they came, the Lord said, I'm going to teach you firsthand why I call my people sheep and why, you know, he is our shepherd and why we are supposed to shepherd the sheep. | |
| And so I learned a lot getting in the sheep pen with sheep, which is a very dirty. | |
| There it can be a lot of drama. | |
| You've got them vying for dominance in there and the shepherd has to maintain order. | |
| Sheep want to go and ingest everything they're not supposed to eat. | |
| So you have to be vigilant and watch because they want to ingest everything they're not supposed to take in because they're overly curious and they have very little defenses. | |
| Sheep have very little natural defenses besides their shepherd. | |
| Also, when sheep don't want to submit, you have to actually throw them on the ground on their side and hold them till they stop struggling so they see you are stronger than them. | |
| And that was what they understand when it comes to submission. | |
| And the problem is the sheep have been allowed to run amok in many ways. | |
| Doctrines of devils have come in to the church. | |
| Truth has been muddied, like you said. | |
| The true unadulterated word of God has been challenged by the same argument that the enemy made at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. | |
| Did God really say? | |
| It's the same playbook. | |
| It is the same attack that just has a different book cover on it, but the contents are the same. | |
| And he has reworked it to work his way into the church in a modern generation in order to hijack the pulpits of the church to now speak forth his interests and to now strip the sheep of their armor, strip them of their spiritual defenses, bring them down to lukewarm, and basically make that church ineffective. | |
| And that will change in this year. | |
| Why do you feel like modern day Christians are easily led astray outside of our Christian boundaries by false prophets? | |
| Well, because we live in a society of Burger King, have it your way, Amazon Prime, two-day shipping, you know, just want it at the snap of your fingers, you know, Google it, order it. | |
| It just, we live in a society now where things have become very easy and very accessible, which sometimes and many times creates entitlement. | |
| And when entitlement comes in, boundaries tend to get pushed, tend to get crumbled. | |
| And boundaries are there in order to protect us. | |
| God doesn't put boundaries in to harm us. | |
| He puts boundaries in to protect. | |
| If I didn't have the sheep in a gated area and I just let them wander, you know, on all the acreage there, there's coyote packs out there. | |
| There's harm out there. | |
| So we have boundaries up for them in order to teach them this is the boundary. | |
| If you escape the boundary, you escape the protection. | |
| You come out from under the covering. | |
| And so today, so many boundaries have been challenged. | |
| And I think what has happened also is a lot of philosophy and philosophical thinking in that sense has gotten into the church as well. | |
| And then you have the media because, you know, we praise God, we can fight in the airwaves as believers, but Satan is the prince of the power of the air. | |
| And you have the media just filling the souls of the young to challenge any authority. | |
| And Satan's doing this purposely. | |
| So then they will not submit to the Lord. | |
| So just pumping into them to challenge authority, pumping into them to push the boundaries, constantly moving the goalpost, you know, in order to try to get a dark, filthy agenda from hell to infiltrate our everyday lives, our children's lives, the church. | |
| And we've watched this happen. | |
| And the way Satan has done this is he has breached the boundaries. | |
| He has breached the boundaries. | |
| That's a really good phrase. | |
| He's breached the boundaries. | |
| And he's calls believers outside of their boundaries. | |
| You know, as Christians, a lot of the time in early Christian walk, we've seen this as a youth minister, as a pastor of an older congregation. | |
| It doesn't matter what age range. | |
| We tend to see a group of people sometimes to see how close they can get to the line before it becomes sin, how close they can walk the line before their, you know, conviction sets in or whatever it may be. | |
| Friends, as believers, we should be seeing how far we can stay away from that fence, how far we can stay away from that line, how far we can stay away from that boundary within the protection of the Almighty, of the God who loves us, who sent his Son to die for us. | |
| You know, Amanda, there's an overwhelming lack of spiritual awareness in modern day churches. | |
| Well, you've seen it too. | |
| You go out and minister a lot to a lot of churches. | |
| I know the people who are inviting you are powerful men of God, but you visit other churches sometimes. | |
| We see a lack of spiritual awareness. | |
| I want to ask this: have you seen fellow Christians involved with divination, astrology? | |
| If so, how do you minister to them? | |
| Because, Mondo, we saw just about a year ago, there was a Christian church, and God loves them. | |
| We pray for them. | |
| That's a southern thing to say. | |
| God love them. | |
| God love them. | |
| We pray for them. | |
| But they were doing Christian tarot cards in their lobby. | |
| You know what I'm talking about? | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| Christian cards. | |
| Angel cards, they were calling them. | |
| They were calling them angel cards. | |
| And they had a Christian Ouija board. | |
| They had a Christian Ouija board so you can talk to the Holy Spirit. | |
| Good thing I don't need a board to talk to the Holy Spirit. | |
| I got the Holy Spirit living in my heart. | |
| But yeah, they were sitting there. | |
| They were doing what they called angel card, which is demonic. | |
| They were doing Christian, what they call a Christian Ouija board, which is demonic. | |
| But they were doing this right there in the church. | |
| And the pastor would get up, preach a sermon, they'd eat their donuts, and they'd leave. | |
| And so, you know, I want to ask you this question: Have you seen Christians involved in divination, astrology, tarot cards, Ouija boards? | |
| And if so, how does someone who's watching this minister to those people who are deceived to thinking this is okay? | |
| Okay, well, first of all, yes, all of those things are demonic. | |
| They are gates and doors to open to pull believers or those who have become lukewarm further down the depths of darkness and further down the ranks of the occult. | |
| Okay, so it's a gateway, basically, those things to get those in the church and those maybe that have strayed a bit from the church comfortable with the idea of things of the occult that are masquerading as things of God. | |
| And so, basically, when you have to minister to somebody like this, first of all, you have to be prayed up, right? | |
| You've got, I would suggest even fasting at times for this because you have to be prayed up and you have to be walking with the timing and the will of God and the Holy Spirit, the Racha Kadesh, in order for you to speak words that are going to convict them. | |
| That's what you want to do. | |
| You want to bring conviction, right? | |
| Which brings repentance, which is a full turning from that. | |
| It's not just a partial, it's not just an I'm sorry. | |
| It's a full turning and walking away from all of those things and forsaking them. | |
| And bringing them, first of all, to scripture where it talks about divination, where it talks about sorceries, where it talks about these things, the root of them, where they come from, and what can happen to them from going down this slippery slope. | |
| I always suggest, first of all, secondly, when you've got a witness to people like this, find some sort of common ground with them. | |
| What do I mean by that? | |
| Well, if they had a hard childhood, if they something that you can say, I can relate to you with that. | |
| I went through this experience, but let me show you what Almighty God did for me. | |
| Let me show you how he delivered me out of the snare of the fowler, out of the lies, out of the bondage. | |
| Because you need to explain to them they're talking to demons. | |
| They're talking to something called familiar spirit. | |
| When they're doing the Ouija board, when I don't care, they put the name Christian or angel on it because they're a fallen host. | |
| So I don't care if they put that name on it. | |
| Angel cards, right? | |
| You're talking to something called familiar spirits. | |
| And they're called familiar spirits because they are familiar with everything about you, your family line, your weaknesses, your strengths, your desires. | |
| They study you. | |
| They study your family line. | |
| And it's all to keep you in that cycle, entrapped in that cycle, because the enemy thrives in cycles. | |
| That's why you see generational cycles happening in families. | |
| Because as long as that cycle can be continued, the enemy can have the upper hand. | |
| The enemy can continue his business and he can continue to thrive. | |
| And when they get themselves involved in that, they are talking to familiar spirits, which are demonic, which are out to enslave them, destroy them, pull them away from Almighty God, and get them really totally at enmity with God. | |
| So then that relationship is broken. | |
| And I know it seems appealing for people to do that. | |
| And the enemy tries to get young people comfortable with this. | |
| He tries to get adults comfortable with this by mixing a little bit of truth with a whole lot of lie, right? | |
| And that's what he does with pushing these items too out there, right? | |
| He tries to put a little bit of truth, but it's mixed in the whole lot of lie, which negates whatever little truth he's trying to peddle and push to you. | |
| Because ultimately, these things will open doors in your life that will do nothing but ensnare you and destroy the things that God has for you. | |
| Demons are not your friend. | |
| These familiar spirits are not your friend. | |
| They hate God's creation. | |
| They loathe the things of God and they can't stand. | |
| We are created in the image of God. | |
| And we have the authority through Christ Jesus and the power that raised Christ from the dead dwells within us. | |
| And we are meant to take authority over those things and break those cycles, not help them continue in the church. | |
| Amen. | |
| I wish she would tell us how she really felt about this issue. | |
| Come on. | |
| We need more people to get excited about this, friends. | |
| We have authority. | |
| We have power. | |
| We've been given that by Almighty God. | |
| I'm telling you right now, we need to cling on to that authority. | |
| You know, page 61 of your book, which I want to show people, let's put it up on the screen so people can see it. | |
| The Revelationary War. | |
| Did I pronounce that right, Amanda? | |
| Revelation? | |
| I did. | |
| Come on. | |
| The Revelationary War by Amanda Grace. | |
| Right here says the epic or this epic battle against false prophecy and deception. | |
| And page 61, you talk about the difference between a shepherd and a showman. | |
| Let's talk about the difference. | |
| Let's talk about the difference between a shepherd and a showman. | |
| Okay, so showmen are there to entertain you. | |
| They are then there to put on a show. | |
| They are there to appeal to your flesh. | |
| They are there to distract you from the real things going on in your life that you really need to deal with the Lord with so you can get delivered and set free. | |
| They are there to stay on the surface and to spoon feed you stale bread, right? | |
| And old wine and, you know, cotton candy, feel good, right? | |
| Christianity. | |
| And that's what showmen are there to do. | |
| They run at the first sight of danger. | |
| They have no clue how to deal spiritually with spiritual warfare. | |
| And they are the Simon sorcerers of the day who think they can also buy the gift of the Holy Spirit. | |
| Now, shepherds, true shepherds, because Almighty God, our Father in heaven, has the heart of a shepherd, are there to protect at all costs their flock. | |
| Shepherds are there to maintain order. | |
| They are there to oversee and make sure the sheep are properly getting fed. | |
| They are properly being protected. | |
| Order is maintained in the pen, and that all the sheep know that the shepherd is in charge. | |
| Shepherds are there to teach. | |
| They are there to feed. | |
| They are there to feed the word of God properly to their people that actually can fix, changes, brings repentance, and actually causes them to grow, have deeper roots, and bear much amazing fruit for the kingdom. | |
| Shepherds are there to do that. | |
| They are there to speak truth. | |
| Shepherds are speakers of truth. | |
| They are brazen in the face of attacks. | |
| They are brazen in the face of evil. | |
| They are not afraid of the wolves. | |
| They are not afraid of the snakes. | |
| They know how to quickly deal with them, take them out and remove them so they do not hurt their flock. | |
| And there is a great plumb line God has dropped in this time between the shepherds and the showmen. | |
| And the showmen are masquerading as shepherds, and it is hurting the sheep. | |
| It is causing the sheep to become sick, lost, deceived. | |
| It is causing the sheep to become lukewarm. | |
| It is not feeding them anything of substance. | |
| And you cannot maintain order in a flock when you are doing those things. | |
| You cannot, you cannot maintain order of a flock when you're doing these things. | |
| I want to ask you a question. | |
| It might be a difficult question, but I think it's a question that needs to be asked. | |
| If there's someone who is going to a church and the Lord has revealed to them, hey, you're under a showman right now. | |
|
God's Dealing with the Soul
00:14:28
|
|
| You're not under a shepherd who cares for your, you know, eternal consequence of your life and those things. | |
| What would someone from a congregational standpoint need to do? | |
| Do they just leave the church quietly and find a Bible-believing church? | |
| Or what's the right answer for that? | |
| Someone might be watching this struggling with that. | |
| You know, it depends on the situation. | |
| I'll tell you why. | |
| If the Lord reveals that to you, right? | |
| The Lord is going to tell you to do one of two things. | |
| He's going to tell you to stay because you're going to be the one that's going to help affect change in that church. | |
| And you're going to be utilized by God to help affect change in that church. | |
| Or he is going to tell you to leave. | |
| One of the two things is going to happen. | |
| Not everybody is called to stay for a season and only for a season in a church like that in order to affect change. | |
| But there are times God positions people specifically for that because there is about to be a changing of the guard in the church and they are positioned to be there to intercede, to speak the truth in love and to be there for that very assignment. | |
| However, if the Lord tells you to leave and you have gotten a resounding confirmation from Almighty God to leave, then you need to leave because what this does, it's like a virus that spreads in these church, basically, right? | |
| So like one gets infected and they can infect other people and they will drag you down much quicker than probably you can drag them up. | |
| And so if you are not getting fed, if you are not growing in the Lord, if there is no weight of conviction and the power of God truly operating in that church along with ethics, morality, you know, good stewardship, then you need to prayerfully leave and you need to go find a shepherd to be under that actually is a truth speaker, that actually is a trailblazer, | |
| that actually will brazenly stand up for the things of God, that serves the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and spirit, that understands what being a servant is and that understands what tending to a flock is and that truly has a very firm biblical foundation in their church for what they teach. | |
| So if you're out there and you're struggling and you have felt the release, then you need to go and you need to go be under a shepherd that actually you can feel not only protected by, but that you can be fed and grow with. | |
| We are on a journey through life where we should never stop growing. | |
| We need to grow. | |
| We need to bear fruit for the kingdom. | |
| Our roots need to go deeper. | |
| And you don't need someone tickling your ears right now. | |
| You need a shepherd that actually challenges you to become the person Almighty God created you to be. | |
| Amen. | |
| Friends, I want to call that number. | |
| It's 1-888-9881-588 and go and get this book. | |
| We're going to put it up on the screen so you can see it. | |
| But friends, we want you to go get this. | |
| This is a Charisma House book, and we have an affiliate program with Charisma Media, The Revelationary War, the Epic Battle Against False Prophecy and Deception. | |
| Friends, it's important that we know what a false prophet is, what deception looks like. | |
| So, friends, we can avoid those things or so that we can help others escape the snare which the enemy has set for them. | |
| Amanda, just a few minutes left on our broadcast. | |
| One, what is the most important takeaway you would want someone to get while reading this book? | |
| And two, if somebody doesn't know Jesus Christ right now, give them a word, share something with them. | |
| Okay, so one of the most important takeaways of this book is that I want this book to drive both believers into a deeper relationship with the Lord and non-believers into a relationship with Almighty God through Jesus Christ, that they realize God is true, living, active. | |
| He is on the highest throne. | |
| He has never stopped speaking to his people, that he is far above every power, principality, and might, and that they see that God truly is the Alpha and Omega. | |
| He sees the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning, and that he is the first and the last. | |
| And that prophecy is an announcement from God to his people. | |
| And it is meant to turn people back to the Lord and drive them back to the things of God and take them deeper in that. | |
| And that is my true desire that God uses this book for his glory and for his kingdom to drive people not only to a deeper relationship with him, but to actually help flourish the gifts, talents, and abilities he has put in them specifically for this time and for this season. | |
| And also, if you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I want to speak to you for a moment. | |
| In this world, there is a lot of suffering. | |
| There is a lot of hurt. | |
| There is a lot of deception, you know, as we walk through this journey called life. | |
| And your shepherd has gone out looking for you. | |
| He leaves the 99 to go after the one. | |
| If you feel that tugging at your heart right now, that is the conviction of your shepherd, Almighty God, calling you home in this time, calling you back under his covering, calling you back into the flock. | |
| And if you have either never given your heart to Jesus Christ and your life or you have strayed and you feel that tugging back right now, God is giving you an open door and an open window to come back to him, fully surrender, allow him to make you a new creation in Christ. | |
| It doesn't mean you're not going to have trials. | |
| It doesn't mean you're not going to have tribulations, but it means you're going to have Almighty God walking those through with you. | |
| It means you're going to have a relationship with him through Jesus Christ, be in covenant with him, and it changes eternal matters for you when you do that. | |
| There is nothing on this earth that could get you into the kingdom of heaven besides coming to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and surrendering your life to him. | |
| That is the way. | |
| He is the way, the truth, and the life. | |
| And I encourage you today, if you have not, give your heart over to Jesus Christ and submit to him. | |
| It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. | |
| He is absolutely good. | |
| He is loving. | |
| He is long-suffering. | |
| He chastises those he loves. | |
| And he's calling you back in this time. | |
| All the brokenness, all the hurt, all the pain that you have gone through, that you have felt like there is no hope and there's no way out. | |
| There is a way out. | |
| And his name is Jesus Christ. | |
| And he died for your sins. | |
| And he thought of you on that cross and he purchased you with the highest price, the shedding of his own blood. | |
| He laid down his life for you so that you could be delivered and set free and actually be what God created you to be on this earth. | |
| So come home to your shepherd today. | |
| Come back under his covering. | |
| Amen. | |
| Come back under his covering. | |
| That's a powerful phrase. | |
| Friends, we want to thank Amanda Grace for being on the broadcast with us today. | |
| What an amazing woman of God, a prophetic woman of God. | |
| Amanda, do you, I'm going to put you on the spot right here. | |
| Is there a word? | |
| Is there somebody watching right now? | |
| Maybe there's a prophetic word you want to give out, an encouragement, something you want to say to someone who's watching this broadcast right now. | |
| You know, I believe, and I'm just going to say, because this is what I was saying before I speak prophetically, but by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, by the Spirit of the one true living God, may only the truth and power of Almighty God with authority now come forth in the name of Jesus Christ. | |
| Father, let nothing pass through my mouth that doesn't pass through your throne first. | |
| Allow me the humble privilege of being a vessel of your power. | |
| Thank you, Lord. | |
| Okay. | |
| The Lord in this time is dealing not only with the soul of the nation, he is dealing with the matters of the soul in the church. | |
| He is dealing with the matters of the soul in you. | |
| The battle that has been waged for your soul, the battle that was waged for the soul of the nation. | |
| The Lord in this time is excavating the souls of his people. | |
| He is going in, and those soul wounds, those things that are still in there that took deep root that the enemy keeps tugging at, those things that keep causing you to look in the rearview mirror back at the past because the enemy wants to keep you in your past so you cannot see your future. | |
| In this time, in this season, God is dealing with that. | |
| He is going in and he is cleansing the soul. | |
| He is dealing with the soul. | |
| He is bringing it back in order. | |
| He is dealing with the soul of the church as well, because there has been a great battle waged as well for the soul of the church and what we have seen happen. | |
| And the Lord is going in and cleaning that and purging that and bringing that healing bomb in in this time and bringing things back into order. | |
| He is changing speech patterns in people. | |
| Death and life are in the power of the tongue. | |
| No longer will you speak death out of your mouth, but you will speak life. | |
| You submit to Almighty God in this. | |
| You receive this. | |
| You are going to speak life out of your mouth. | |
| There's going to be changes in your speech patterns, in your thought patterns. | |
| You're going to be driven towards the things of God in this time. | |
| You're going to have a desire to go deeper in God's word that you haven't had because God is raising a standard right now in this nation and he expects his people to bear the standard and be the standard for him in this time to be salt and to be light. | |
| And in order to do that, the turmoil that has been going on in your soul has to be dealt with. | |
| And God is delivering you from that. | |
| He's setting you free from that. | |
| Sickness also, disease, what has held you back, what has constricted you, is being cut from you in the name of Jesus Christ. | |
| And you are being delivered from that and set free. | |
| Conditions of the heart. | |
| He's dealing with conditions of the heart in this time, not only physical, with the chambers of the heart, with the arteries, with heart attacks, with congestive heart failure, but the actual heart posture and condition of his people are coming to attention and order in this time because God has an incredible plan to accomplish in this nation over the next years for his kingdom, the gospel going out into areas of the world that haven't even heard it yet. | |
| He's got plans for his people in order to carry and bear the word and speak the word and be living letters read by all men to go out in this nation and do that in this time for the next generation. | |
| But in order for us to do that and be soldiers in the army of the living God and come together, the confusion, the noise, the sickness, the oppression, and the depression and the anxiety that the enemy has put on you for decades is breaking now in the name of Jesus Christ. | |
| And you are being delivered from that. | |
| Do not go back to or hold on to what caused it in the first place. | |
| He is purposely changing relationships around you. | |
| He is purposely pivoting you in this time away from habits and away from people and away even from jobs that have caused you to stray from him. | |
| And this is a new chapter you are coming into in your life. | |
| It is a fresh breath from Almighty God breathed into you. | |
| We are the dust of the earth without his breath of life breathed into us. | |
| In this time, the Lord has to deal with that, the soul condition and your heart posture. | |
| And he is doing a great work in you for that. | |
| Do not let the enemy put you back in the rearview mirror and keep looking at your past because you will miss your future. | |
| And Almighty God created you to do something incredible on this earth for his name's sake and to further his kingdom. | |
| And just know that in this time, if you keep moping and looking in the rearview mirror, if you keep speaking death, if you keep speaking negatively, you are going to miss it. | |
