Pursuing Righteousness Prayer
00:06:32
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show, coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today, our special guest is a best-selling author, conservative political and economic commentator, and former Washington, D.C. attorney, Michael Snyder. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| It is an honor you have chosen to tune in with us today, whether you're watching this on video on demand or you're watching this live. | |
| We appreciate that you're tuning in and you're clicking on. | |
| Friends, today we have Michael Snyder. | |
| He's a conservative political and economic commentator. | |
| He's also an author and a former Washington, D.C. attorney. | |
| We're going to get to him in just a little bit. | |
| Mondo, it's a great that we can bring a vast array of different guests on, from biblical prophecy, pastors, teachers, commentators, authors. | |
| We bring them all here to the PTL Television Network and we give them a platform where they can share their message. | |
| This is a special place. | |
| I got to tell you that. | |
| Morningside USA is a special place. | |
| This program is a special place. | |
| Why? | |
| Because we bring men and women of God from all different types of perspectives into your home every single day. | |
| And you are allowing us to do that because your support, your prayers, you know, we can have this a plethora of different guests. | |
| And Ricky, what a joy to know that God loves to spoil his people. | |
| Amen. | |
| I feel like a spoiled brat having all these people on the show every day and we get to be a part of it. | |
| I learn something new every single program. | |
| And I got to tell you something. | |
| The Bible says, blessed is the man that is hungry and thirsty for righteousness. | |
| I want to be blessed. | |
| I don't know about you. | |
| Amen. | |
| Friends, if you're at home, open up your Bible. | |
| This is going to be important. | |
| We're going to open up to 1 Peter chapter 4 and we're going to start in verse 12. | |
| I'll give you a second to get there, whether you have a physical Bible at home or you're on an Android, iPhone, whatever, iPad, whatever it is. | |
| I recommend get a physical Bible though, friends, because nothing beats holding the word of God in your hands in a physical form like this. | |
| But I'll reopen this up right here. | |
| 1 Peter chapter 4, starting in verse 12. | |
| It says right here, dear friends, don't be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you as if something unusual were happening to you. | |
| Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed. | |
| If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed because the spirit of glory and of God rests on you. | |
| Let none of you suffer as a murderer, as a thief, as an evildoer, or a meddler. | |
| But if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in having that name. | |
| For the time has come for judgment to begin with God's household. | |
| Do you hear that, Mondo? | |
| Yes. | |
| For the time has come for judgment to begin where? | |
| At God's household. | |
| And if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who disobey the gospel of God? | |
| And if a righteous person is saved with difficulty, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? | |
| So then, let those who suffer according to God's will, people don't like to hear that, suffer according to God's will, entrust themselves to a faithful creator while doing what is good. | |
| Wow. | |
| Friends, there are we suffering in this lifetime, but continue to do what is good. | |
| Continue to pursue righteousness. | |
| Continue to pursue holiness. | |
| And when you're pursuing righteousness and holiness, what are you actually pursuing? | |
| You're pursuing the person of Jesus Christ. | |
| You're pursuing the God, the creator, the author and the finisher of our faith, the person who is the alpha and the omega. | |
| There is nobody on his tier, far above everything else, the only one and true living God. | |
| So, friend, when you're pursuing a righteous life, when you're pursuing a holy life, when you're pursuing a life that is good by God's standards, not the world standards, what you're actually doing is pursuing relationship with Jesus Christ. | |
| The most important thing that you can do, friend, the most honorable thing that you can do, get saved, and then lead your family to Jesus Christ. | |
| If your family is all Christians and you're not, then join the true family of Christ Jesus. | |
| The only way to heaven, friends, I want you to be encouraged. | |
| While there's going to be things that aren't favorable that happen to you, financial difficulties, emotional struggles, spiritual pools and tugs where you may be wondering, is this what God wants me to do? | |
| Is this what I'm supposed to be doing? | |
| Is this my calling? | |
| Friends, just know this, that Christ is a solid foundation, that trials and tribulations can come, but you don't have to worry because the God who created everything loves you. | |
| He cares for you, and he wants to call you a son and a daughter. | |
| It doesn't matter if there's, you know, you're a Jew or a Greek, if you're circumcised, uncircumcised, if you're a slave or a free, because there are no longer any of that in Christ. | |
| You are in Christ, and Christ is in you. | |
| The moment you say, I make my will subservant to yours, I want to be a member of your family. | |
| I want you to rule in my life. | |
| And friends, if you've never prayed that salvation prayer, call us. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Call us. | |
| We'd love to pray the salvation prayer with you. | |
| We'd love to say welcome to the family. | |
| And if you do pray that salvation prayer with us, friends, go get in a good Bible-believing church. | |
| Go get in a church that preaches the entire word of the Lord and doesn't take anything away from it or doesn't add any opinion to it, friends. | |
| They preach the word of God. | |
| They feed you. | |
| They give you the milk and they also give you the meat there at the church to give you sustenance for your spirit, man, to be able to thrive. | |
| Friends, we want to say thank you for supporting this network. | |
| Thank you for the ability to continue to preach the gospel in an uncensored manner. | |
|
Entertainment Capital Devastated
00:06:41
|
|
| Thank you for the ability to continue to tell people that there is a hope for their future, and that hope is Jesus Christ. | |
| And friends, it's the reason we get to bring people like Michael Snyder to this broadcast. | |
| Now, Michael, I want to ask you this question as we dive straight into this. | |
| 2025 is really starting to look like a Hollywood disaster movie. | |
| You have an article entitled, America's Political and Financial Capitals Were Just Hit by Lightning, and now our Entertainment Capital is being devastated by fire. | |
| This is an article that you wrote. | |
| So maybe you can dive into that. | |
| And I want to ask you, is there prophetic significance to these events? | |
| Yes, there are, Ricky. | |
| And it's great to be with you today, Ricky. | |
| Great to be with you, Mondo. | |
| But as we led up to the new year, I warned my readers, I said 2025 is going to be a chaotic year, even more than 2024. | |
| And so we got to New Year's Eve, and on New Year's Eve, four of the most iconic buildings in the entire country were all hit with lightning in the same evening, right on New Year's Eve. | |
| You know, so in Washington, D.C., the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol were both hit by lightning at 5.36 p.m. on New Year's Eve. | |
| In New York City, the Empire State Building and one World Trade Center were both hit by lightning on the same evening. | |
| So we have not only were four of our most iconic buildings in our center of government, the capital of our government, Washington, D.C., two were hit. | |
| Two buildings in New York City, our financial capital, the financial capital of the world, all hit on the same evening. | |
| The odds of that happening are extremely low. | |
| And then, interestingly, just days later, the entertainment capital of the world was hit by fire. | |
| And it's turning out that they're now projecting this is going to be the costliest disaster in all of U.S. history. | |
| And when you think of Los Angeles and what we've seen in thousands upon thousands of homes and businesses burned, the amount of territory burned in these Los Angeles fires, people need to understand is roughly equivalent to the entire city of San Francisco. | |
| That's the amount of Los Angeles that has burned in these fires. | |
| Now, the areas that were hit particularly hard, areas like Pacific Palisades, areas like Malibu, these were areas where the rich, the wealthy, but in particular celebrities lived, right? | |
| And in some of these areas, home values averaged, you know, more than two, three million dollars. | |
| So very, very expensive homes. | |
| And these were the areas where the celebrities live. | |
| Of course, when you think of the city of Los Angeles, you think of what's the entertainment capital of the world? | |
| You think of Hollywood. | |
| You think of television shows and movies and music and all that. | |
| In fact, Los Angeles has more of an impact on the culture, not just of the United States, but of the entire world than any other city on the entire planet by a very wide margin. | |
| And now it's being hit by the largest and most destructive fire disaster in all of U.S. history. | |
| So a question we need to be asking ourselves: after what we witnessed in 2024, where we averaged a billion-dollar disaster in the United States about every two weeks, but people didn't really get the message. | |
| God kept sending us wake-up call after wake-up call. | |
| Now, our government and our financial capitals were hit by lightning on New Year's Eve. | |
| And now our entertainment capital, the entertainment capital of the world, has been hit with this historic disaster, this historic fire disaster. | |
| And then the fire specifically hit areas literally People Magazine listed dozens of celebrities that had in the entertainment industry that had their, they listed 60 major celebrities that had their homes burned down. | |
| We need to be asking the question: is this a wake-up call? | |
| Is judgment happening to our entertainment industry? | |
| What is the spiritual message that we need to be getting out of this? | |
| But that is hardly being talked about anywhere. | |
| But I think we really need to stop and reflect on what we're doing, where we're headed as a nation, and what God may be trying to tell us through all of this. | |
| You know, this is so key to what Mike was saying. | |
| I remember my time in Los Angeles, California. | |
| I write about it in my book. | |
| I love Los Angeles. | |
| Los Angeles welcomed me with open arms. | |
| And I got to tell you something. | |
| There are some great Christian people in Los Angeles. | |
| I remember God using me through the Dream Center to go up the Hollywood Hills and bring the gospel to celebrities. | |
| Guy used this ex-gang member to bring hope to celebrities there, and they accepted Jesus. | |
| They got into a discipleship program, and some great churches are in Los Angeles, California. | |
| But yet, in the middle of all that, just like you mentioned, Michael, the industry of Hollywood has corrupted our culture in ways that we will never comprehend. | |
| Yet, Michael, people that live in Los Angeles, California are being deceived by the insurance companies and the industry. | |
| How are people going to be able to survive with tens of billions of dollars in losses on these wildfires? | |
| What's happening, Michael? | |
| What are you hearing from the experts on how can companies desert the people Los Angeles? | |
|
Insurance Crisis Ahead
00:02:52
|
|
| I'm not talking about celebrities, I'm talking about the everyday blue-collar workers that make the world go around. | |
| Yeah, it's very interesting. | |
| You talk about insurance companies about six months ago, State Farm pulled insurance from thousands upon thousands of homeowners. | |
| In fact, in Pacific Palisades alone, 1,900 home insurance policies were pulled by State Farm. | |
| And of course, all state and other insurance companies, many of them pulled insurance away from homeowners in Southern California. | |
| So, a lot of those homeowners, when the fires came, they didn't have any insurance at all, some of them. | |
| And so they've lost everything. | |
| But in terms of the total economic damage, AccuWeather is now projecting that the total economic damage from these fires will be between $250 billion and $275 billion. | |
| That makes it the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history. | |
| Previously, it was Hurricane Katrina, about $200 billion. | |
| So we have just been hit. | |
| 2025 is just days old, and we've been hit by the costliest natural disaster in all of U.S. history. | |
| Now, only a fraction of that is covered by insurance, but we're still talking about tens of billions of dollars that are covered, homes and businesses covered by insurance. | |
| So they're talking about the greatest insurance crisis, a major insurance crisis, financial crisis for the insurance industry. | |
| And it's inevitable that some smaller insurance companies in California will not be able to handle the claims that come in. | |
| They will go bankrupt. | |
| And some people who had policies with those smaller insurance companies may be out of luck. | |
| Other insurance companies, in a desperate attempt to survive, they'll have a two-fold strategy. | |
| They will try to delay insurance payouts for as long as they possibly can. | |
| And they will also try to find a way to deny as many claims as they possibly can in a desperate attempt to try to hold on to their money and survive as long as possible. | |
| So there's going to be legal fights. | |
| There's going to be headaches. | |
| There's going to be problems of people trying to rebuild. | |
| And of course, rebuilding will be insanely expensive since the beginning of the pandemic. | |
| Building costs have escalated dramatically. | |
| So it's going to be extremely expensive to rebuild. | |
|
Giant Mess Recovery
00:02:57
|
|
| Of course, there'll be regulatory headaches and all that there in California. | |
| But we've got just this giant mess. | |
| It's going to take years and years and years to recover. | |
| Some areas of Los Angeles will never be the same again. | |
| And some homeowners, some people literally have lost everything because they didn't have insurance. | |
| I was just reading today about how a lot of the vehicles didn't have fire insurance. | |
| They're not going to be covered by this. | |
| So it is going to be a major economic and financial blow to the region and to the country as a whole. | |
| Michael, I want to ask you this question. | |
| How does the Bible address the issue of suffering, persecution, and what encouragement does it offer to believers in difficult times? | |
| Yeah, Ricky, the Bible actually, if you go through the New Testament, even the words of Jesus, he promised that when you're in this world, there will be trials, there will be persecutions, there will be difficulties. | |
| So that's what the Bible promises for us. | |
| But Jesus said, Hey, I'm going to be with you. | |
| And then, you know, the goal of our faith, and we're looking forward to what we've been promised, and that is eternal life. | |
| That at the end of the story, we get to be with Jesus forever and ever and ever. | |
| And that's a greater ending to our story than anything that Hollywood ever dreamed of. | |
| So, but in this world, there will be difficulties. | |
| There will be persecutions, but God will be with us in the midst of it. | |
| And I'm so glad that the churches in Los Angeles area, they're helping the needy. | |
| They're being a light. | |
| And that's what we're going to need to be: a light in the darkness in the midst of all the disasters, all the horrible things that are coming. | |
| And we are living in a time, Jesus described it as a time unlike any other time in all human history, that we're going to see catastrophes, natural disasters, apocalyptic events. | |
| And instead of going and going into a corner and crawling up into a ball and crying and being depressed, we need to rise up and be the people of God and shine a light to the world in the midst of all the darkness and the chaos that's going on. | |
| Because these are unprecedented events. | |
| In California, you know, these fires, they're telling us that wildfire smoke is super toxic to the lungs. | |
| You know, those small particles get into the lungs, they cause respiratory distress. | |
| They get into the bloodstream, cause all sorts of problems. | |
| But what, you know, and we've not only got trees and plants and grass being burned up in California, but we because of all the homes and businesses being burned up, we've got massive amounts of plastic, of paint, of toxic chemicals, which are being burned up. | |
|
Helping Us Get the Word Out
00:03:01
|
|
| We've never seen anything like this in U.S. history. | |
| And there are 23 million people living in Southern California alone breathing in this smoke. | |
| And then the smoke is going to literally be affecting people hundreds of miles away. | |
| We're talking about people in Arizona, New Mexico, even Texas that are going to be breathing in this smoke from the fires. | |
| It's going to cause health problems literally for years to come. | |
| This is a disaster, which I don't even have the words to properly describe. | |
| You see, when you help this ministry, you're helping us get the word out. | |
| And one day, Ricky, we got to spend the whole hour telling people what this ministry has been able to do through your giving. | |
| And we're planning something. | |
| And I got a hold of Bishop and say, Bishop, we got to send a truck, maybe one or two trucks on behalf of this ministry to Pastor Brian Bolt's center there because they're feeding people. | |
| More than that, they're leading people to the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| Just in several hours, they led over 600 families to Jesus. | |
| Amen. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| You are a part of that. | |
| That's right. | |
| When you stand with this ministry and your support, every single month, you're donating your finances. | |
| It's not just to keep this program on the air, not just to keep the church on, you know, broadcasting on Sunday mornings. | |
| You're helping us bring hope with products like this. | |
| Grid down, chow down. | |
| You're helping us, you know, bring new manna. | |
| You're helping us with cardiomirical. | |
| We're bringing hope in every possible form that can happen because of your support. | |
| But if you stop doing that, not only you stop us from giving this food and water and whatnot, you're stopping the miracle of being able to broadcast this program around the world. | |
| Listen, more than ever, we need you right now. | |
| Taxes are coming and you're probably thinking, where should I give? | |
| You're welcome to give to this ministry at any moment, at any time. | |
| Every month we need a miracle. | |
| Every week we need a miracle. | |
| Every day we need a miracle. | |
| That's why we come on the air and ask you and plead with you to pray about standing with us because every dollar that comes through here, Ricky, matters. | |
| Amen. | |
| If you want to call, this is the number, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Call today. | |
| Stand with us because when you stand with us, you're helping us bring hope to Pastor Brian Bold's ministry, to the Dream Center, to everything that absolutely. | |
|
Donald Trump's Nuclear Wild Card
00:13:01
|
|
| And you know what? | |
| The disasters are going to happen even greater. | |
| That means we have a greater opportunity to step in when others are not able to. | |
| That's right. | |
| And it allows us to continue to bring wonderful prophetic insights from wonderful guests like Michael Snyder. | |
| Michael, I want to ask you this question. | |
| As a part of a prophetic message that you shared with us, you said the wild card will be Donald Trump. | |
| What did you mean when you shared that as a part of your 2025 message for the new year? | |
| Yeah, he's going to be a wild card. | |
| He's going to stir things up. | |
| So now we've reached the point of inauguration, and he's going to come in and he's going to start taking action now. | |
| And as he takes action, there's going to be reaction to the things that he does. | |
| And so, you know, the left, when Trump, you know, for example, he tries to deport illegal immigrants, there's going to be a reaction by the left. | |
| Every action that Trump makes, there's going to be a reaction. | |
| And so Donald Trump coming in, he's someone that the elite cannot control. | |
| Unlike Joe Biden, who was very controllable, went along with the program of the global elite. | |
| Now, Donald Trump is coming in, and he's very unpredictable. | |
| You know, we can't even predict what he's going to do. | |
| You know, he's already talking about Greenland and Canada and the Panama Canal. | |
| And you never know what he's going to say on any particular day. | |
| You never know what he's going to do on a particular day. | |
| So he's very unpredictable. | |
| That makes him a wild card. | |
| I think that God has him in this position for a particular role at this time in history. | |
| And I think that Trump's new term, I think he's going to try to get as much done as possible. | |
| I think he's assembling a team that kind of wants to turn over the tables in Washington, D.C. | |
| And this is going to cause upheaval. | |
| It's going to cause change. | |
| It's going to cause chaos, to be frank. | |
| And it's going to cause the left to go nuts. | |
| Every time Trump or someone on his team does something big, there's going to be an equal and opposite reaction on the left. | |
| And I think we're entering a period of political turmoil, of just turmoil in general. | |
| And of course, governmental turmoil, political turmoil is just one element of the perfect storm that I've been describing that I've been warning about that is now upon us. | |
| You know, what message should President Trump send to world leaders in his first 100 days of office? | |
| Yeah, old Donald Trump is coming out and he's projecting strength and he's and he's saying, Hey, I'm going to be very, very tough. | |
| And so, uh, and will this work? | |
| You know, we're looking at the situation in Iran where the Wall Street Journal, New York Times have been reporting that President Trump is openly considering, for example, a preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear program. | |
| In fact, Biden was considering this apparently before he left office, but he didn't pull the trigger on that. | |
| But it's because Iran is so close now to a nuclear weapon and enriching uranium to a degree where they can produce nuclear bombs, nuclear weapons. | |
| And the Trump administration, Donald Trump, is like, we're never going to allow that to happen. | |
| Of course, Israel is in the same boat. | |
| So Donald Trump, just about pretty much immediately upon entering office, is faced with a situation where he's got a major decision to make. | |
| Do you let Iran get nuclear weapons? | |
| In which, if they do, it's just a matter of time before they start distributing nuclear weapons to their proxies, to terrorist groups like Hezbollah and so on. | |
| And then they have nukes. | |
| So is Donald Trump going to allow that? | |
| Is Israel going to allow that? | |
| Well, allowing that to happen is unthinkable. | |
| But on the other hand, if you go and you bomb Iran, and if you bomb their nuclear program, much of the facilities are deep underground, the bombing that would be required to take out Iran's nuclear program would be extremely intense, extremely destructive, and would be a major deal and which would provoke a massive response from the Iranians, basically provoking an apocalyptic scenario in the Middle East. | |
| Massive war, major conflict in the Middle East. | |
| So you've got basically two options, which are going to have very bad consequences: either letting Iran and Hezbollah and terrorists have nuclear weapons or bombing Iran and then dealing with those consequences. | |
| So this is just one of the things that Donald Trump is faced with immediately upon taking office. | |
| And we are going to have to pray that he makes wise decisions. | |
| Michael, with the tensions rising worldwide, it seems 2025 could be a year of war. | |
| The U.S. and Israel are discussing a preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear program. | |
| North Korea threatens South Korea. | |
| China's engaging and edging closer to invading Taiwan. | |
| And of course, Russia and Ukraine conflict continues to escalate. | |
| Are we unknowingly closer to World War III than we think? | |
| Yeah, through the course of 2024, we got so much closer to the hot phase of World War III, I'll call it, than we've ever been before. | |
| And Mondo, in your question, in your introduction there, you just mentioned the three wars of the apocalypse that I've been warning about for years, that I've been writing about in my books for years. | |
| We've known they're coming in advance because God told us in advance for years. | |
| And so all these things are coming, but hardly anyone is talking about the prophecies. | |
| Hardly anyone's talking about the prophetic warnings. | |
| Hardly anyone's talking about, hey, God told us about this, that it's going to happen. | |
| Now it's literally happening right in front of our eyes. | |
| Sometimes I feel like I'm watching a slow-motion train wreck happen in front of my eyes. | |
| I can't stop it. | |
| I keep warning. | |
| I warn, I warn, I warn. | |
| But most of the population doesn't want to listen. | |
| But yeah, we're so close to all of these. | |
| Just this week, it's been in the news: China is building amphibious craft for an invasion of Taiwan. | |
| Satellite images, very alarming. | |
| They've been in the news of what's going on in China, a preparation for invasion of Taiwan. | |
| In fact, Chinese President Xi Jinping just went a national address to his nation saying, nobody can stop our reunification with Taiwan, which will have to be done by force. | |
| Obviously, they're planning for a military invasion. | |
| The satellite images tell us they're preparing for a military invasion. | |
| That's one of the wars of the apocalypse. | |
| China, Russia, in Ukraine. | |
| Just today, earlier today, before I came on the show, I read in the news, Russians are advancing in Ukraine. | |
| Meanwhile, Ukraine, more long-range missile strikes into Russia using NATO missiles. | |
| And of course, the Russians are saying those NATO missiles, hey, we're blaming NATO. | |
| We're now in direct conflict with NATO. | |
| NATO is in direct conflict with us. | |
| We're closer to nuclear war with Russia than ever before. | |
| And I just talked about the situation with Iran, which I believe is rapidly going to come to a head. | |
| I believe this year decisions are going to be made. | |
| And there will be at some point a major showdown with Iran. | |
| So these three wars, three wars of the apocalypse, which are now upon us, which I've been warning about for years. | |
| And at some point, nuclear weapons will be used. | |
| And we actually, we see this in the Bible. | |
| We see this in the book of Revelation. | |
| It is in our future, and people need to be preparing for that. | |
| And so some people think it's funny when I tell people you need to get Geiger counters, you know, for, you know, to be able to measure the radiation in your area because you can't see the radiation cloud. | |
| You can't see it with your eyes. | |
| You're going to need instruments to measure it. | |
| You're going to need to make other preparations. | |
| You're going to need to have storable food like you saw at the Jim Baker show. | |
| All these things, because literally we've known for years and years in advance, God has warned us years and years in advance. | |
| People have been shown by God. | |
| They've seen with their physical eyes what's going to take place. | |
| And now it's upon us. | |
| Now it's right in front of our eyes. | |
| And yet most of the church doesn't want to talk about these things, doesn't want to talk about the prophetic warnings. | |
| And I commend the Jim Baker show. | |
| I commend Ricky. | |
| I commend Mondo for bringing people like me on to warn the church because most Christian outlets are not even talking about these things. | |
| Wow. | |
| Well, we appreciate you for writing about them as well and getting the people informed. | |
| I want to ask you this question. | |
| This is not within any of our scheduled questions. | |
| I don't think he knows we're going to even ask this, but I just want to get your opinion on the United States' funding of the war in Ukraine. | |
| We've sent billions and billions and billions of dollars to Ukraine. | |
| You know, you're an economics expert as well as you understand biblical prophecy from a biblical lens. | |
| What's your opinion on the United States funding so heavily the war in Ukraine? | |
| Well, it's one of the things that's causing our debt to explode. | |
| Now we're up to $36 trillion in debt. | |
| Just wildly, our debt is just wildly exploding out of control. | |
| I says, oh, that's a major problem and a reason why we can't spend all this money. | |
| Also, you look at, you know, we had all this money for Ukraine, and yet people in North Carolina are still sleeping in tents in the middle of winter. | |
| People in North Carolina still aren't getting the help from the government that they need. | |
| And now we've got this disaster in Los Angeles, which, you know, Joe Biden's saying, oh, people are going to get a one-time payment of $700-something dollars. | |
| Meanwhile, we've got endless billions of dollars for Ukraine. | |
| But the biggest reason why I sound the alarm about this situation in Ukraine and why I don't want to endlessly fund this, what I want is for leaders on both sides to sit down. | |
| And hopefully Donald Trump will do this. | |
| Hopefully Donald Trump will sit down with the Russians and saying, hey, we've got to stop this before we, we, a nuclear war erupts, before nuclear weapons start being used. | |
| We've got to bring this to an end because I know the prophetic warnings. | |
| I know the things I and others have been warning about for years and years and years that, you know, the United States and Russia, where things are eventually heading. | |
| And I don't want to see nuclear war. | |
| I don't want to see hundreds of millions of people die. | |
| I don't want to see in the aftermath of nuclear war billions of people starving and not with not enough food. | |
| So this madness has got to end Joe Biden by greenlighting long-range missiles into Ukraine provided by the United States, U.S. missiles falling deep inside of Russia has literally brought us to the brink of nuclear war. | |
| It's madness. | |
| So I'm a big advocate for peace. | |
| I'm a big advocate for, hey, let's pull back from the brink before we have nuclear war because once the nuclear missiles start flying back and forth, it's over. | |
| There's no turning back. | |
| We need to pull back from the precipice while we still can. | |
| And yet our leaders keep getting us closer and closer and closer to the edge and not even realizing or not even listening to the warnings, the prophetic warnings, which are telling us that, hey, this nuclear showdown, this nuclear conflict, which is prophesied, we're getting closer and closer to that. | |
| I don't want to see that happen. | |
| I want that to be delayed as long as possible. | |
| So I want us to pull back from the brink. | |
| So I'm against the continuation of this war because I know where it could eventually end. | |
| You know, that's why we believe here at the PTL Television Network, we've been preaching this message for so long is Mondo, we believe that there is truly going to be a global crisis that comes, not because we've studied so much and we've read so many different books by so many authors, but because we've read the word of God and we understand the times that we're living in. | |
| Friends, it's hard to look at what's happening on our eastern seaboard, our western seaboard, at our southern border and at our southern port gates and say nothing bad is going to happen and we shouldn't prepare. | |
|
Championing Preparedness
00:15:28
|
|
| We shouldn't be ready. | |
| That's why we champion the message of being prepared. | |
| And a lot of other ministries, Mondo, and you have noticed this. | |
| I think we've had this conversation, this dialogue. | |
| A lot of ministries that before wouldn't even touch the idea of physical preparation are now coming around to the idea and telling their congregations on Sundays, you guys should have food. | |
| I was brought in to Washington, D.C. For a huge conference. | |
| For a major, huge conference with entrepreneurs, Christian leaders, specifically to deliver the warning about preparing for food. | |
| Yes. | |
| Only one answer the call. | |
| Out of 6,000 people. | |
| I don't mean to scream, but I'm frustrated because they don't care about you. | |
| Only one church lady, not even a pastor, a church lady that was there from Canada. | |
| And I'm going to bring her on to tell you. | |
| And she's doing everything she can to establish new mana in Canada and our people. | |
| Meaning, Daniel Brinkman is working with her. | |
| And I didn't have to beg him. | |
| I said, get a hold of this lady. | |
| She gave me their number, establish food, because she knows a day is coming that the church is going to be the only answer. | |
| That's right. | |
| Why is it that only one church lady, and thank you for every church lady out there that is willing to stand when your pastor is not standing, when the evangelist is not standing? | |
| I'm not pointing my finger at any pastor. | |
| That is your business. | |
| But we will be judged one day as leaders. | |
| Why is it, Ricky, that only one church lady responded to the call to get prepared? | |
| Listen, I don't care if your pastor's not doing the job, lady, you do it. | |
| Sir, you do it. | |
| You don't have to have a best-selling author book stamp on your resume. | |
| You don't have to have a church of 50,000 people. | |
| You don't have to have a television program to make an impact. | |
| You just have to be willing to have the heart that loves people to say, you know what, I may not have everything, but I know a place down the street that we can turn it into a new mana spot to deliver food. | |
| Listen, if I was you, I will call that number, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| If you feel the call to distribute food and to start a food place, a pantry with new mana products or grid down child down, listen, do it. | |
| Why? | |
| Because it's going to be one of the most important things. | |
| In order to be a witness, food is going to have to be the key. | |
| I'm talking to the experts in the food industry, and I can tell you that something really bad is coming up the horizon. | |
| And we better lock down. | |
| We better get ready. | |
| We better be prepared because the farmers are warning us. | |
| The industry is warning us. | |
| And when it happens, it's already too late. | |
| That's right. | |
| I want you to watch this from one of our affiliate programs, the sponsor of this show. | |
| But friends, we believe in their product. | |
| We have been able to send their product to people who need food and it has supplied them with what they needed until they can get back on their feet. | |
| This is from our partnership with New Mana. | |
| When we started, it's been, you know, 12 plus years. | |
| We never dreamed you're going to get at this point. | |
| The things that you see on the news were only part of your imagination. | |
| We're creating about 233,000 meals every single day. | |
| We're having a hard time providing enough food for each of the 300 food banks we work with. | |
| You must be resilient. | |
| You must be prepared. | |
| This isn't your regular everyday long-term food storage. | |
| This is essential food. | |
| We want it good enough that you could eat tomorrow. | |
| You know, you're late for baseball practice or whatever. | |
| You want a quick meal with your family? | |
| You can do it. | |
| You want it camping, whatever. | |
| It's a no-lose investment. | |
| This looks like it is something that needs to be put on your table tonight. | |
| When you order a bucket, order multiples, put it into your pantry. | |
| This is a family pack. | |
| There are 17 different varieties of food. | |
| This food is 25 plus years shall fly. | |
| So we have freeze-dried fruit, freeze-dried vegetables. | |
| They're awesome. | |
| This water, if you have enough of it stored away, it can save your life. | |
| This water is purified and it's the process. | |
| This is the first of its kind. | |
| It has zero bacteria. | |
| And you can get this by the case. | |
| You can get it by the box. | |
| You can get truckloads. | |
| As a truckload if you want. | |
| We have organic powdered milk. | |
| You need no gluten. | |
| We have no gluten family packs. | |
| We have standard family packs. | |
| We have organic family packs. | |
| We have defender packs with superfoods in them. | |
| So we have a wide variety. | |
| It's just so important for survival. | |
| I mean, it is a question of survival for a lot of these families. | |
| Another thing we're focusing on is the buy now, pay later. | |
| So you can buy now. | |
| We got pay later options on the site offer that. | |
| Go to jimbakershow.com. | |
| You can get all your needs. | |
| You can check it out. | |
| You can call us if you have questions. | |
| Just give us a call, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| You know, we believe in New Mana. | |
| We believe it for many reasons because we've been able to supply food to those who need food and disasters. | |
| But also, Mondo, people who are just going through economic crisis personally, we've received phone calls and they're saying, hey, I'm in a food insecure spot where I don't know if I'd be able to feed my family and we've been able to send them food. | |
| I am sorry if I sound angry. | |
| I am just concerned. | |
| I'm passionate and I'm worried that you're not prepared. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| When you look at California and the people standing in line, can I remind you of the prophecy that what's that lady from Africa? | |
| Heidi Baker. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Heidi Baker prophesied. | |
| I believe what we're watching right now. | |
| You know how I know that it's coming to pass? | |
| Because when I watch the videos of the Dream Center and Pastor Matthew standing in line, there's Ranch Rovers in line. | |
| You know how much a Ranch Rover cost? | |
| Over $90,000, Ranch Rovers. | |
| BMWs. | |
| Men and women in suits. | |
| And they're standing in line for food. | |
| They lost everything. | |
| We are watching a prophetic word from Heidi Baker being fulfilled, Ricky. | |
| I think this is the beginning of something that California, it will never be the same. | |
| I'm telling you right now, it's going to take over 10 years just to repair or rebuild the palisades. | |
| Yes. | |
| And I'm telling you right now that we have an opportunity that when people lose their jobs, their food essential becomes NUMANA. | |
| That's right. | |
| The food that you've gathered has become the essential food of everyday eating. | |
| I know I use this. | |
| I took a picture the other day and showed you guys. | |
| I was making my food, the meat that we receive here. | |
| I make it and then I make tacos. | |
| We make nachos. | |
| We made, I mean, we get so creative that I even mix tomatoes and onions and make meatballs. | |
| And I'm telling you, when you have a plan and you're ready, you have a peace of mind. | |
| That's right. | |
| I didn't even know Mondo could cook this whole time. | |
| That's funny. | |
| That is positive. | |
| That's terrible. | |
| No, but it's true. | |
| Anything that we come and we present to you, we use this within our own families. | |
| We use this. | |
| I mean, Mondo, I've gone to your home. | |
| You have, I think it's three Seychelles pitchers. | |
| Everyone has a water bottle. | |
| We drink purely out of Seychelles as well when we go and we have water at home, you know, because it's important. | |
| We believe in the products that we talk about here. | |
| We use the meat, the grid down, chowdown. | |
| We use the food, Noumana. | |
| It's important for you to understand. | |
| We're not just coming up here and saying, oh, here's a product. | |
| We think it's nice. | |
| You should buy it. | |
| No, friends, this is stuff that we have tried and we have tested. | |
| Mondo, dozens and dozens and dozens of different food distributors. | |
| We've had them make their dozens of different items for us. | |
| We've tasted them all. | |
| And there are some that we said, there is no possible way we would send this in good conscience out to people. | |
| And we even had our staff, whenever we partnered with Noumana, had our staff try the food. | |
| We got thumbs up from them. | |
| That's why we're willing to push what we do because we believe that the church truly should be prepared. | |
| We believe that there's a natural disaster wherever you are. | |
| And you may be saying, well, I'm not in an area prone to natural disaster. | |
| Friends, if there is any catastrophe that goes on, the church needs to be able to open their doors and say, welcome all to come get a meal, to come get some clean clothes, to come get some clean water. | |
| Why? | |
| Not just for the sake of a meal, not just for the sake of a clean shirt, not just for the sake of a clean cup of water, but so that we can spread the gospel, friend, so that we can continue to champion the message that Jesus is coming back. | |
| You know what I love about this is they offer gluten-free options. | |
| That's true. | |
| And they offer organic options. | |
| They offer the options that NUMANA has. | |
| And we've been in, I guess, in this type of industry for almost two decades now. | |
| That's right. | |
| And we have seen the worst. | |
| We thought we found the best. | |
| But I can tell you that Numana is the best of the best. | |
| That's true. | |
| For one thing, Ricky, they love Jesus. | |
| They love people. | |
| And they love the quality of food that they're producing. | |
| They didn't have to put it out in the public, but they saw a need and they filled that need and they found us and we found them. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Try the recipes for yourself. | |
| Try the recipes knowing that this is something that you can add to your essential items from the chili to the ferrucine freddo to, I mean, there's so many different recipes that we can go down the list. | |
| But as I'm watching the news and I'm watching the bird flu expand in territories. | |
| Well, people are saying it's going to be bigger than the last pandemic that we had. | |
| Huge. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Millions of birds are being slaughtered right now because of the fear of the bird flu. | |
| So can I ask you a question? | |
| I want to put Mondo on the spot right here. | |
| One of the best things that we have done is partner with New Mana. | |
| We truly believe that. | |
| But one of the best things that New Mana has done for the people is the fact that they have a buy now and pay later program. | |
| Isn't that right? | |
| That is the greatest news we can ever hear is buy now and pay later. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| And that's their financing option. | |
| That's not through us. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Not us. | |
| They're doing it all themselves. | |
| And I want you to give us a call. | |
| We want to put you in contact. | |
| If you're a big church, a small church, if you're any kind of organization, we want to put you in contact with them because not only that, they're giving you the best price individually as a church, an organization. | |
| But if you're a family or maybe you're living by yourself, they're willing to work with your budget. | |
| How about that? | |
| There's no more excuses. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| They've done it and they've done this with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. | |
| We truly believe this was a God divine idea and that they have brought it to us. | |
| And we are able to now champion the message to say we want the church to first and foremost be spiritually prepared, the most important preparation. | |
| But friends, we also believe in physical preparation. | |
| We want to make sure that you have the ability to eat good food in any type of hard time. | |
| It's why we built a community of Morningside so that we have a campus here that whenever hard times hit, we can take care of the people here, which is what we have been continuing to store food for, to continuing to have clean water for. | |
| We have tapped into every natural resource we have here on our property. | |
| So if the world's falling apart around us, we'll be okay. | |
| And honestly, it'll be business as usual for the majority of the part for this community. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Give us a call today, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Or go to the website, jimbakershow.com. | |
| Not only shop New Mana, but check out Grid Down, Chow Down, check out Cardio Miracle, and there's several other options, Seisho. | |
| I mean, there's a plethora of different options that we have available for you. | |
| And we want to make sure that you get what you need. | |
| This is a one-stop shop, and we want to make sure that the integrity stays intact with every product that we present to you. | |
| It is so critical because we are almost at the finish line, Ricky. | |
| That's right. | |
| And we want to make sure that you help us get there, whether it be a hard donation, meaning a straightforward donation, or if you want to support it by ordering the products, you can do that as well. | |
| So right now, give us a call before the program's over, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Amen. | |
| Please call that number. | |
| Friends, I want to ask Michael another question right here. | |
| Michael, concerning the questions about the state of the food industry, this is my question, particularly in light of food security shortages, fears around the bird flu. | |
| How can we address this food insecurity caused by the lack of supply chain disruptions or the lack of supply chain, which is causing disruptions? | |
| Yeah, well, there are no easy answers because the food industry, food production globally is kind of being hit by a perfect storm because you've got wars, you've got more global conflicts going on around the world than any time since World War II. | |
| Then you've got crazy global weather patterns. | |
| You know, for example, the hurricanes, you know, the hurricane that hit Florida has driven orange prices through the roof. | |
| You know, in other parts of the world, coffee, you know, where they grow coffee beans have been devastated. | |
| The price of coffee has just gone absolutely insane. | |
| And then, of course, pestilences with the bird flu, which is chickens and turkeys, 123 million dead in the United States alone. | |
| You know, you've got dairy cows piling up, dead dairy cows piling up on the sides of highways in California because so many of them are dying. | |
| So we've got the price of butter going insane. | |
| We've got the price of chicken and turkey, eggs. | |
| There are egg shortages in many parts of the country right now. | |
| If you can get them, the price of eggs are far higher than they used to be. | |
| Just about everything you buy for breakfast has just gone, the prices have gone completely nuts. | |
| Meanwhile, demand for food continues to increase here in the United States. | |
| You know, when I reported on this a year ago, the number of homeless people in the United States was at an all-time record high and it was increasing at the fastest pace ever recorded. | |
| Then 12 months later, we get to, you know, this time of the year and new numbers came out. | |
| And once again, we see the number of homeless people in the United States is at a brand new all-time record high and it's increasing at an even faster rate, faster than the year before. | |
|
Demand At Food Banks
00:09:29
|
|
| So a new record. | |
| And I just wrote about just a few weeks ago how demand at food banks all over the country is at the highest level ever recorded, higher than at any point during the pandemic, higher than at any point during the Great Recession. | |
| Demand at food banks all over the country is higher than ever right now. | |
| You know, but people look at the stock market and for now, the wealthy people are fine. | |
| Stock market is fine for the moment. | |
| But at the lowest end of the economic spectrum, people are hurting like never before. | |
| I personally know someone that runs a food bank. | |
| He says, Michael, demand is crazy. | |
| People are coming like never before. | |
| We've got a major crisis on our hands. | |
| And the long-term trends that I've been writing about in my books that are hurting global food production, they're only going to intensify in the years ahead. | |
| Global famine is in our future. | |
| It literally is inevitable, as I prove in my writings. | |
| And we could talk for hours about this because all the things that are affecting global food production, global food production is going to decrease. | |
| The population of the world is going to continue to increase. | |
| And what that means is there's already not enough food for everyone. | |
| Right now, as we do this program, people are dropping dead in Eastern Africa from starvation, unprecedented famine in Eastern Africa and much of the African continent. | |
| Here in the Western world, in the United States, the food shortages are manifesting in much higher prices, but eventually there will be food shortages in the United States as well. | |
| And just look at the book of Revelation, the sealed judgments. | |
| That's our future. | |
| That's what we're moving into. | |
| And 99% of the church is not getting prepared. | |
| That's right. | |
| 99% of the churches. | |
| Now, friends, when he says that, we have to look at the other side of that coin. | |
| If 99% of the church is not getting prepared, that means it will be up to 1% of the church to take care of the rest. | |
| Wow. | |
| Friends, that's a scary reality. | |
| And friends, quite frankly, that's just not possible. | |
| No, we need more churches to be prepared. | |
| Would you stand with your people, of your community? | |
| Be prepared. | |
| Be that food bank. | |
| Be that lighthouse in a dark time, friend. | |
| You know, me and my wife, we got a little piece of land. | |
| We got some animals. | |
| We bought a bunch of sheep. | |
| We raised them for people who might think it's ethical. | |
| We raise them for meat. | |
| You know, and so we have food. | |
| We bought some dairy cows. | |
| Friends, I didn't know how to milk a cow. | |
| Come on. | |
| Do I look like I know how to milk a cow? | |
| Maybe I do look like I know how to milk a cow. | |
| You learn quick, though. | |
| You learn really quick. | |
| Now, friends, why do we do all this? | |
| And we honestly plan on adding more animals to it. | |
| What's the reason behind all that? | |
| It's because we practice what we preach. | |
| We really believe that when hard times hit, we'll be able to use these animals to feed our community, what God intended for the animals to be. | |
| We'll believe we'll be able to provide fresh, non-vaccinated, non-antiotic, you know, antibiotics, pump-full animals, and milk to the community as well. | |
| Fresh milk. | |
| That's why we're doing what we're doing. | |
| Friends, I'm no sheep farmer. | |
| I am now, though. | |
| I was no cattle raiser, but I am now because I believe the message. | |
| I believe there'll be a day where you have to have the mark of the beast to buy or sell anything that the globalist agenda wants you to be able to go to a supermarket, to go to a big store, to go to a box store. | |
| You'll have to have this mark of the beast. | |
| Why? | |
| Because the Bible says it in the book of Revelation. | |
| And I want to have a community of people. | |
| That's why we so love Morningside that we can say, you don't have to take that mark and you can still get food. | |
| You don't have to take that mark and you can still get clean water. | |
| You can still get fresh milk. | |
| Friends, we want to provide that for our efforts, for our community. | |
| It's why we store food. | |
| Because Monda, I don't have enough sheep to feed the whole community, but I got enough sheep to take care of some people. | |
| But I'm saying it's why we store the grid down chowdown meat. | |
| It's why we have Seychelle bottles stacked in huge pallets here so that whenever things happen, we can take care of our community. | |
| We want to make sure that we are the lighthouse, friends. | |
| We can't depend on anyone to come take care of us. | |
| 99% of the churches, Michael Snyder says he thinks they're not getting prepared. | |
| We want to be that 1%, that lighthouse, that hope for a lost and dying world to say, come get a fresh meal. | |
| Come get a clean glass of water. | |
| Come get some milk to help fill your stomach or your child's stomach. | |
| And come hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, the most important thing that you'll ever hear. | |
| Friends, I truly believe we are going to see a multi-billion soul harvest in the last days. | |
| That's just not 1 billion. | |
| That's 2 billion plus, a multi-billion soul harvest of people saying, I want to come into the fullness of what Christ Jesus has to offer me. | |
| And I believe a lot of that, friend, will come through food, will come through clean water, will come through clothes, will come to a place to sleep when they've been displaced. | |
| Friends, it'll come through our compassion as Christians. | |
| You know, Paul says, be good to everyone, but especially those of the household of faith. | |
| But friends, we're called to be good to everyone. | |
| Call them in. | |
| Why? | |
| Because it's what? | |
| The goodness of God that leads people to repentance. | |
| And that's really what it is, friend. | |
| Allow yourself to be a walking, talking version of that Bible. | |
| So people can look at you and say, there's something different about that person. | |
| And they'll spark a conversation. | |
| You can say, the only thing different between me and you, brother, is the fact that I have Jesus Christ in my heart. | |
| Lead someone to the Lord today. | |
| If you're going to be interacting with someone you don't know or a co-worker who's not saved, friends, see what you can do. | |
| Say, do you want to pray that salvation? | |
| Pray with me. | |
| And friend, they might say no. | |
| They might say, absolutely not. | |
| Under no circumstance or any condition will I ever pray that prayer. | |
| But friend, keep planting the seeds because some people plant the seed, some people water the seed, and some people collect the harvest. | |
| Friend, even if you're just a seed planter, continue to plant the seed because one day that harvest will come. | |
| The Holy Spirit will tug at their heart and they'll come into the fullness of what God has to offer them. | |
| Call that number. | |

| I need your support. | |
| Pray about becoming a monthly partner. | |
| We are totally in the last days, but we must keep the message of the gospel going forward. | |
| We need your support. | |
| And I pray that if you have the ability today to give a one-time gift to keep the devil away and to meet our budget this month, we need help desperately. | |
| I'm going to personally, for my Social Security, I'm going to give a $1,000 gift today to the ministry. | |
| And I hope someone will join with me and give that one-time gift as well. | |
| But these monthlies will keep us going till Jesus comes if you'll just do that. | |
| So call me right now, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Remember that God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| Thank you for calling. | |
| Bye-bye. | |
