Prophets And The Lord God
00:15:18
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Join us as we look at today's news through a biblical and prophetic lens. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega. | |
| And now, live from Grace Drew at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| It's an honor you've chosen to tune in with us today. | |
| Don't click that dial. | |
| We have a message from your friend, our pastor, the man who founded the PTL television network, Morningside Church, about the prophets of Baal. | |
| This is Jim Baker. | |
| He's going to be reading about Elijah and the prophets of Baal. | |
| Really pay attention to what he's saying. | |
| It's going to set the tune for the rest of the show. | |
| Go to 1 Kings 18, 21. | |
| And Elijah came unto all the people and said, how long halt ye between two opinions? | |
| That's an election, people. | |
| If the Lord be God, follow him. | |
| But if Baal, then follow him. | |
| Baal is the God of killing babies. | |
| We have got to follow God. | |
| And Elijah said unto the people, I, even I, only remain a prophet. | |
| Here he was. | |
| He fell all alone. | |
| Sometimes I feel like I'm a voice in the wilderness. | |
| You've heard me say that. | |
| But Baal's prophets are 450 men, it says. | |
| Down to verse 24. | |
| And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord. | |
| And God that answereth by fire, let him be God. | |
| And all the people answered and said, it is well spoken. | |
| Verse 26, and they took bullocks, which were given them, and they dressed it and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, oh Baal, hear us. | |
| That's what America is doing. | |
| America has turned to Baal. | |
| And they cried out, O Baal, hear us. | |
| But there was no voice, nor any that answered. | |
| And they leaped upon the altar. | |
| Boy, doesn't that sound like people today? | |
| They danced and jumped and screamed and hollered. | |
| And it came to pass at noon that Elijah mocked them and said, cry aloud, for he is a God. | |
| Either he is talking or he is pursuing. | |
| That means he's out on the outdoor toilet. | |
| Elijah said unto all the people, come near unto me. | |
| And all the people came near unto him. | |
| And repaired, listen to this. | |
| He repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. | |
| It's time we repair the house of God. | |
| It's time we repair the altars and we begin to worship again and we begin to love one another. | |
| Oh, verse 32. | |
| And with the stones, he built an altar in the name of the Lord and he made a trench about the altar. | |
| And he put the wood in order and cut the bullocks in pieces and laid them on the wood and said, fill four barrels with water. | |
| And he poured it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood. | |
| And he said, do it the second time. | |
| And they did it the second time. | |
| And he said, do it the third time. | |
| And they did it the third time. | |
| And the water ran around the altar. | |
| He filled the trenches with water. | |
| This was like the election, people. | |
| This is what they did with Donald Trump. | |
| And so that water ran around the altar, filled the trenches with water. | |
| Then Elijah the prophet came near and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. | |
| Hear, O Lord, hear me. | |
| This people may know that thou art the Lord God, that thou hast turned their hearts back again. | |
| Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice. | |
| But it also burned up the wood. | |
| That's not enough. | |
| It burnt up the stone, it says next. | |
| You're reading in your Bible? | |
| It burned up the stones and it burned up the dust. | |
| Wow. | |
| And the fire licked up all the water in the trench. | |
| And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, The Lord, He is God, the Lord. | |
| He is the God. | |
| Amen. | |
| And that's why an America has a chance right now to turn back to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. | |
| Wow. | |
| To turn back to the one true God. | |
| To lift up Jesus Christ again. | |
| We have desecrated the Lord. | |
| We have just turned against him in this country. | |
| And it's time that you can pray in Jesus' name. | |
| And God gave us America this election. | |
| Yes, he did. | |
| And I do want to say something here. | |
| God gave us an imperfect leader. | |
| He did not give us a Messiah. | |
| He did not give us a prophet. | |
| Maybe you ought to read the Bible. | |
| Maybe you ought to stop judging everybody. | |
| Because everybody God picked to use, look at his disciples. | |
| Yeah. | |
| I'm not going to preach on Peter, but I'll tell you what. | |
| He's a great example. | |
| Peter did a lot of swearing. | |
| He did a lot of cursing. | |
| He denied Jesus Christ. | |
| And yet God picked him to preach the message of Pentecost. | |
| The starving of the church. | |
| Where he said, I'll build my church upon this rock. | |
| It's time now to pray for our president more than ever. | |
| Yes. | |
| You know, we're living in times, Mondo, where it seems like the enemy is once again trying to show off. | |
| And like the example of this prophet to Baylor saying, you know, our God can answer by fire. | |
| They're dancing, they're screaming, they're crying, but their God cannot answer by fire because there is only one true and living God who can answer by fire, and it is our God. | |
| I mean, Jesus Christ came down, died on a cross so that we could be sons and daughters, heir to the throne, friends. | |
| We have a father who will answer by fire. | |
| And friends, it is important to know that he loves you, that he cares for you, that he brought you in as his own. | |
| And friends, when you call on him, he will answer. | |
| And Mondo, we're seeing him answer across the nation. | |
| There's a battle that is going on, a spiritual battle like we've never seen in our lifetime, where God's people versus the enemy is rising up parallel together, but yet the person that is going to be consistent is going to be the one that will stand. | |
| The Bible always talks about resist. | |
| That's right. | |
| Remember that word because that word resist or endure are biblical words that God uses to encourage his people. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have to continue. | |
| But yet, most Christians, the moment tribulation appears, we run. | |
| That's right. | |
| We hide. | |
| We know how to hide. | |
| And there's a lot of you that are still hiding and still running from the call of God. | |
| Yet, I believe this season, God is going to call out those that have been hiding because we have to learn how to resist the enemy because God wants to give a word to his prophets. | |
| Amen. | |
| Listen, I learn more every time I read God's word that we are all called to hear God's voice. | |
| Amen. | |
| How do we know where false prophets are going to arise? | |
| It's when we stop hearing God's voices. | |
| The reason why false prophets arose is because God's people went into hiding. | |
| God wants to speak to every single one of us, especially in the time and the season that we have entered right now. | |
| Yet, the only reason why false prophets are being heard is because God's people are still in hiding. | |
| Man, you're going to get me teaching something that God has been speaking to me about because I want you to know something. | |
| The very first thing I learned as a young, immature Christian was how to listen to God's voice. | |
| You're going to need it. | |
| If Matthew 24 is real, if Luke chapter 21 is real, we better listen because God's word may be only two which endure and resist. | |
| That's right. | |
| Friends, we have to resist the enemy, especially in the times of living. | |
| Resist not just for yourself. | |
| Friends, resist for your children, for your grandchildren. | |
| Don't allow the culture to be so disgusting and brazen that it will fall upon them. | |
| You say, well, it doesn't really affect me. | |
| I'm later in my life. | |
| I'm older, you know. | |
| But friends, it's your children. | |
| It's your grandchildren. | |
| You know, Mondo, we're seeing false prophets arise quite a bit. | |
| And friends, how do we know? | |
| We know them by their fruit. | |
| We know them by their prophecies. | |
| If it lines up with the word of God, if it is in line with what the scriptures teach us, friends, then we can accept the prophecy. | |
| But if it's wacko, it goes out of the gist of the word of God, if it contradicts the Bible, friends. | |
| I would tell you then to then heed the warning that they are not going to be giving a sure word if it doesn't line up with the word of God. | |
| But right here in Luke chapter 21, Mondo, I think you have Matthew 24 open. | |
| He says it in both areas. | |
| Friends, they say this in 21, verse 7 of Luke. | |
| Teacher, they asked him, so when will these things happen? | |
| And what will be the signs when these things are about to take place? | |
| It's the disciples. | |
| They've come to Jesus and they've asked him, what is it going to look like when you are going to have your second return? | |
| Then he said, watch out that you are not deceived. | |
| For many will come in my name saying, I am he and the time is near. | |
| Don't follow them. | |
| When you hear of wars and rebellions, don't be alarmed. | |
| Indeed, it is necessary that these things take place, but the end won't come right away. | |
| He says, watch out that you are not deceived. | |
| Now, Mondo, we're believers, friends. | |
| You guys are all Christians. | |
| If a person comes up to you and they say, I'm an atheist, I don't believe in God. | |
| I don't follow anything of doctrine of the Bible. | |
| I'm going to try to tell you, hey, come over here, come to my side. | |
| I'm going to give you all this information. | |
| As a believer, we probably won't even give it a second thought. | |
| Why? | |
| Because they're not of the household of faith. | |
| They're not a believer. | |
| They've said they're an atheist. | |
| Why would I give them a second thought? | |
| Friends, it is much more convincing to someone come up to you and say, hey, hey, hello, I'm Brother So-and-so. | |
| I'm a Christian. | |
| Have been for 35 years, love the Lord my whole life, and start slowly swaying you away. | |
| I'm saying we have to know people by their fruit. | |
| Listen, this is wildly important. | |
| Have author books. | |
| That's right. | |
| They have television ministries. | |
| We're going to be real, right? | |
| Well, we have to be. | |
| The time's a living. | |
| We have to. | |
| We are living in a time where deception and artificial intelligence is moving even more into a very deceptive environment. | |
| But let's bring it back because most church folks will get entangled because they believe a lie. | |
| Do you understand that when prophets, so-called prophets move in calling out, you know, your address and this what happened to you? | |
| And we get drunk in an environment because we're so desperate for a word that we're gullible to believe anything that sounds like a prophet, moves like a prophet, smells like a prophet, but yet doesn't have the fruit of a prophet. | |
| You have to go back to Matthew 24. | |
| He's reading out of Luke. | |
| I go back to Matthew 24, and I want to bring something up because you read it, but Matthew 24 says this. | |
| Verse 3. | |
| This is so why we have to pay attention to every word that is in the word. | |
| Watch this. | |
| While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, who was he talking about? | |
| Jesus. | |
| The disciples approached him privately. | |
| I want to stop there for a moment because there's certain things that God wants to deal with you privately that doesn't always have to be on social media. | |
| Uh-oh, I'm going to strike a chord now. | |
| There's certain conversations that prophets don't always have to discuss publicly when it has to be a private matter. | |
| You see, when you invite a word to the public, now you better be ready for public ridicule. | |
| But when it's private, this type of information is private for a reason. | |
| Yes. | |
| But the so-called prophets that are deceiving the church folk, meaning people like me, people like you, is because this type of people move and operate in the private realm that becomes public. | |
| Yet we get drunken on a word because we're so desperate for a word to hear from God. | |
| But yet, how do we hear from God? | |
| You read the word. | |
| And this, the Bible calls them, you know, the silver-tongued snakes. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| They're orators. | |
| They're so good with their words. | |
| They have studied you before they even know you. | |
| But the problem is these people are leading churches. | |
| These people are writing books. | |
| They got mega following on social media. | |
| They're always talking about prosperity. | |
| They always want to talk to you about good. | |
| But yet, how do you know a good and a bad prophet read the word? | |
| That's right, by the fruit. | |
| I had an instance, it was just a few weeks ago where someone came up to me and the conversation was very good. | |
| And then they said, hey, I have a prophetic word for you. | |
| And I said, give me the prophetic word. | |
| I'd love to hear the prophetic word. | |
| And I'll be honest with you, this word was very, very accurate for something that was happening in my life. | |
| And I thought, hmm, that's a very spot-on prophetic word. | |
| I didn't tell them yes or no or confirm it. | |
| I said, hey, I appreciate the fact that you shared this word with me. | |
| They left. | |
| I left. | |
| I went back into my office and something just wasn't sitting quite right with me. | |
| I said, man, I don't know what it is. | |
| But word is so spot on, but I don't get it. | |
| The Lord prompted me to then pick up my phone and call somebody. | |
| I called that person. | |
| I said, hey, I just got a prophetic word from this individual about this particular thing happening in my life right now. | |
| And the person on the other end of the phone goes, hey, I actually was just telling them about it. | |
| I was just updating them about it. | |
| Just last night, I told them what you're going through so they could pray for you. | |
| And I thought, oh, very interesting. | |
| Friends, things like that are going to happen to you. | |
| If I wouldn't have listened to that small still voice inside of my office while I was sitting there thinking, hmm, while this prophetic word was accurate, while this prophetic word made sense for my life right now, something wasn't sitting right. | |
|
Be Careful With Words
00:15:39
|
|
| And I thought, oh, that was just prophetic information sharing. | |
| That wasn't a prophetic word from the Lord. | |
| Or it's just information sharing. | |
| It's regurgitating the information back to me. | |
| But friends, that's why a relationship with the Holy Spirit is so critical. | |
| It was an encouraging word. | |
| You know, we're going to get through X, Y, and Z and all these things. | |
| But friends, we have to stop saying, oh, this is something that I heard from the Lord, especially if it's not. | |
| We have to be careful to put something on God whenever God didn't give it to us. | |
| Remember this. | |
| We will be judged by every word that comes out of our mouth. | |
| That's right. | |
| I'm sorry. | |
| I don't mean to know. | |
| No, welcome. | |
| We're senior here. | |
| That's right. | |
| What you just said, is that not taking God's name in vain? | |
| Well, it's super out of context. | |
| A lot of people think that you have to say a cussed word with that. | |
| And that's always taking God's name. | |
| But isn't that using his authority? | |
| When you say, God's given me this or he's told me this, isn't that taking his name in vain? | |
| Taking his authority. | |
| He's saying his authority to you. | |
| I've always been very cautious of that because I thought, man, if I'm going to say God sent something, I have to stand in front of him one day. | |
| And God's going to say, hey, do you remember when you said that I told you that and I didn't tell you that, friends? | |
| I'm not going to have an answer for that. | |
| And I'm going to be standing in front of the Almighty, the one who created everything, the one who was and is and is to come, the one who is the beginning and the end, the author and the finisher of our faith. | |
| He's everything. | |
| I'm going to be standing, looking him face to face, and I'm going to have to give an account for using his name improperly. | |
| Say, oh, God told me this. | |
| God gave me that. | |
| Friends, and God's going to say, I didn't give you that. | |
| So what's your reasoning behind that? | |
| Friends, I promise you in that moment, you won't have a reason. | |
| You won't have an excuse that's going to be good enough. | |
| You need to ensure that you are cautious with the word that you're given. | |
| There's no issue with walking up to somebody and saying, hey, I know what you're going through. | |
| I'm praying for you. | |
| I know what you're going through. | |
| It's going to be better on the other end. | |
| This is a trial you're going through. | |
| Let's fight this together. | |
| It's okay to say that kind of stuff to people, but you don't have to always tack on, especially if it didn't come from God. | |
| If it came from God, say it. | |
| If it didn't come from the Lord, you don't need to say, hey, this is a word from the Lord because it leads people astray. | |
| You want to know, you want to speak for God? | |
| Read his word. | |
| That's right. | |
| Can I speak, thou saith the Lord? | |
| That's right. | |
| Not because what I'm hearing is what I'm reading. | |
| Read it. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Let me give you what God is saying through his word. | |
| Psalms chapter 12, everything that you're saying. | |
| Help me or help, Lord. | |
| Amen. | |
| For no faithful one remains. | |
| That's right. | |
| The loyal have disappeared from the human race. | |
| They lie to one another. | |
| They speak with flattering lips and deceptive hearts. | |
| I can go on and on, but this is what we're talking about. | |
| Men, true men and women of God are hiding. | |
| Yet we got false prophets with flattering lips, best-selling books, mega ministries, mega followings. | |
| Then you have your local parking lot prophets that call you just like that. | |
| You know, thou saith the Lord, using information, just what we were talking about. | |
| This is why it's so radical when you read God's word and you understand that every word that comes out of your mouth will be judged. | |
| We have to be very careful on how we speak for God, how we interpret what God is saying, because if it's not through his word, don't say it. | |
| But yet there's a lot of people trying to speak for God. | |
| Someone, I saw a video, you know, people were making fun of another person about they're the voice of God. | |
| That's very dangerous when you get into that arena. | |
| But I want you to know something. | |
| We are going to be judged with what we said. | |
| And if it's not through the word and by the word, we're in trouble. | |
| I'm not saying that God can't speak to you a word for someone. | |
| That's different. | |
| I'm just saying, don't put his name on it when it's not from him. | |
| That's what we're trying to say. | |
| Friends, the reason that we can talk about the things we do talk about is not because we have been given some keen knowledge that you don't have. | |
| Open up your Bible. | |
| Everything that we are telling you from this platform lines up with the word of God. | |
| We're going to read the word of God. | |
| We're going to dissect it. | |
| We're going to bring on guests who can help interpret it. | |
| You may not agree with every theological take, and that's okay. | |
| We're going to give you the information so that you can then, at home, make an educated and Holy Spirit-inspired decision on what it is that you ensure is brought into your home and brought into your heart. | |
| Right here in Luke chapter 21, it's important. | |
| It says here, it says, Watch out that you're not deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, I am He, and the time is near. | |
| Don't follow them. | |
| When you hear of wars and rebellions, don't be alarmed. | |
| Indeed, it is necessary that these things take place first, but the end won't come right away. | |
| Then he told them, Nation will rise up against nation, kingdom against kingdom. | |
| There'll be violent earthquakes and famines and plagues in various places. | |
| There will be terrifying sights and great signs from the heaven. | |
| But before all of these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you. | |
| They'll hand you over to the synagogues and prisons, and you'll be brought before kings and governors because of my name. | |
| This will give you an opportunity to bear witness. | |
| Friends, I want to stop right there and talk about this perspective. | |
| Whenever you're going through a trial and tribulation, someone's putting their physical hands on you to persecute you, to bring you before kings and rulers, to possibly have you killed, executed, martyred. | |
| Friends, this isn't a moment where we hang our head and boo-hoo as Christians. | |
| The word of God says, This is our opportunity to bear witness. | |
| Friends, right here, it says, Therefore, make up your minds not to prepare your defense ahead of time, for I will give you such words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. | |
| Friends, make up your mind that what the Lord will give you in that moment will be good enough to conquer any argument that they throw at you. | |
| It says right here, you will even be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. | |
| They will kill some of you, and you'll be hated by everyone because of my name, but not a hair of your head will be lost. | |
| Mono, you were talking about this earlier. | |
| By your endurance, you will gain your life. | |
| When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, recognize that the desolation has come near. | |
| Friends, I want to talk about this. | |
| Jump to verse 25. | |
| It says right here, then there will be signs in the sun, moons, and stars, and there will be an anguish on earth amongst nations, bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the waves. | |
| People will faint from fear and expectations of the things that are coming on the world because the powers of heavens will be shaken. | |
| Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great power and glory. | |
| But when these things begin to take place, stand up, lift up your head, because your redemption is near. | |
| Friends, right here, this is important. | |
| We won't know the day or the hour, and we will never claim from this platform to know the day or the hour. | |
| If someone comes on this platform and says, I know exactly specifically when it is that the Lord will return, friends, I can guarantee you if they don't. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Guarantee you, they just don't know it. | |
| Why? | |
| Because no one will know it. | |
| God himself knows this. | |
| But what does the Lord do for us? | |
| Because he's faithful. | |
| He lets us know there'll be a season you can watch for. | |
| He says it right here. | |
| Then he told them a parable. | |
| Look at the fig tree and all the trees. | |
| As soon as they put out leaves, you can see for yourself and recognize that summer is already near. | |
| Once the leaves begin to bloom, you can then recognize it's on its way. | |
| In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near. | |
| Truly, I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. | |
| He's referring to the generation in which all of these things are taking place. | |
| Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. | |
| Friends, heaven and earth will pass away before his eternal word even has a consideration of passage. | |
| His words will never pass away. | |
| Friends, the God who was there before there was anything, there was no creator that created our creator. | |
| God was there from the beginning of time. | |
| And I know that's a hard concept for some people to grasp and say, well, everything has to have an origin. | |
| Everything has to have a beginning. | |
| God has no beginning. | |
| He always has been. | |
| And far after eternity has come to an end, he'll still be there. | |
| Why? | |
| Because he is the infinite God. | |
| His word will never pass away. | |
| Mono, that should be encouraging to us. | |
| Why? | |
| Because yes, the word talks about trials and tribulation, things we're going to go to as go through as believers. | |
| We're going to suffer some persecution. | |
| Yes. | |
| But friends, there are so many promises, and his words will never pass away. | |
| So, friends, we get to spend eternity with him as heirs to the throne. | |
| We get to spend eternity with him as lovers of his soul. | |
| We get to spend eternity with him as sons and as daughters. | |
| And that's a guarantee if you are a member of the household of faith. | |
| Why? | |
| Because his word will never pass away. | |
| We can be unfaithful, but God cannot be unfaithful. | |
| Why? | |
| Because he can't go against who he is. | |
| He is good. | |
| He is holy. | |
| He is righteous. | |
| He is always just in his scales of justice. | |
| And friends, he is faithful. | |
| He cannot not be those things. | |
| It's who he is. | |
| If something's happening in your life, you say, God, why would you allow this to happen to me? | |
| Friends, we are born into sin. | |
| We are sinful by nature and we need a savior. | |
| Typically, it is the consequences of our own actions for things happening. | |
| It's not that God is looking at you saying, well, I'm going to judge harshly this person. | |
| Friends, if he was going to do that, we all deserve hell. | |
| That's the reality of it. | |
| But his son's blood came and redeemed us into his family. | |
| Friends, it says here, his words will never pass away. | |
| We need to cling on to his word. | |
| It shocks me, Mando, how many people are believers and don't love the word of God. | |
| They say, well, I'll let my pastor read it to me on Sunday. | |
| I'll let my pastor read to me on Wednesday, but I don't feel the need to read it throughout the week. | |
| I don't feel the need to understand it to that depth that I can be explained through DVDs, through other people. | |
| Friends, if the Lord is telling you something will never pass away and it is his word, why would we not want to know what that thing is intimately? | |
| Discernment, right? | |
| Spiritual discernment is key to, and listen, discernment is developed throughout the years through experiences. | |
| That's right. | |
| I've been walking with the Lord for over two decades, almost three decades now. | |
| That's a long time. | |
| And when you stop and think about it, you see us on television. | |
| You say, oh, those young kids just started. | |
| There was a man that keeps trolling me on Facebook. | |
| Say, is he really a reverend? | |
| Is he? | |
| Of course I am. | |
| I graduated my theological degree from North Carolina Theological Seminary, and I got two bachelor's degrees. | |
| And I mean, I can go on. | |
| We can get in an argument about it. | |
| But understanding how to discern the deception, because even you, as a good Christian, can deceive people if you don't read your word. | |
| Study the word. | |
| That's one thing dad always told me, your friend, Pastor Jim Baker, study the word. | |
| I said, keep me accountable and keep yourself accountable. | |
| If it's not in the word, you better be careful. | |
| Amen. | |
| Whoa. | |
| Have you ever read the woes in the Bible? | |
| Yes. | |
| A lot of ministers need to understand that a lot of those woes were directed to you, to me, as ministers. | |
| We are held accountable because I want to tell you something. | |
| People are falling away from the work of God because us preachers haven't told the truth. | |
| We haven't lived the truth. | |
| And then you wonder why the churches are empty today is because you didn't stick to the script. | |
| Stick to the word. | |
| Your church will be filled. | |
| The anointing will be moved if you stick to the word. | |
| But, Ricky, we have turned away from the Bible later on talks about we are preaching another gospel. | |
| That's right. | |
| When did our hearts turn from God? | |
| When did we listen? | |
| I tell my kids, stick to the word. | |
| Don't let, yeah, listen to dad, but listen to what God wants you to do. | |
| Amen. | |
| If it's not in the word, why are we listening? | |
| The Bible tells us that terrible things are coming. | |
| And if we endure it to the very end, that's how we gain our life. | |
| Oh, man. | |
| That's right. | |
| We ought to go preaching together because we make a good team and understanding this. | |
| And listen, pray for us. | |
| Pray for Ricky and I. Don't judge us. | |
| You've never walked one hour in our moccasins or in our shoes for you to judge us. | |
| You've watched us, but pray for us, fast for us, stand with us. | |
| We have been standing in the gap for this ministry and this hour where it's needed the most. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| The two of us, we've been offered a lot of money to go somewhere else. | |
| But yet when God calls you, it's not about the money. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's about fulfilling the call of God for your life. | |
| But we need you to stand with us when you pray with us, pray for us, fast for us. | |
| Support this ministry, not because of us. | |
| Support it because we need programs like this that will teach you the word. | |
| Amen. | |
| Can you say amen? | |
| We need you to stand with us. | |
| We need you to keep praying for us. | |
| But I want you to know something. | |
| Every time you order a product, every time you support this ministry financially, you're helping us each day to continue to preach the gospel. | |
| Amen. | |
| Unwater gospel, unfiltered gospel, a gospel that has been tried and tested, not only through what we've been through and what we're going through, but also because of the anointing that God has placed on Ricky, the anointing that God has placed on me, that's placed on this ministry, but it's being placed in your life when you support us. | |
| Will you continue to do that this month? | |
| Call the number 1-888-988-1588 and say, guys, we're standing with you guys. | |
| We're going to continue to stand on behalf of Pastor Jim and Lori, of course. | |
| But listen, as we are here, we need you guys. | |
| We need you. | |
| We need your prayers. | |
| We need your financial support. | |
| We can't go on without it. | |
| But at the same time, the commitment that we're giving back to you is that we are willing to preach the whole gospel and bring men and women of God that will help us interpret what you just read, Ricky. | |
|
Be On Your Guard!
00:01:38
|
|
| Listen, call the number as you're hearing us talk and say, hey, we want to stand with Ricky and Mondo this month, and we're going to commit to this amount. | |
| We want the word to keep being preached. | |
| We want to hear more about what is being said throughout of everything that is going on from Israel to President Trump. | |
| And listen, get ready. | |
| It's going to be a wild year. | |
| I can tell you that. | |
| That's right. | |
| 2025 has some things in store. | |
| Friends, verse 34 of chapter 21, I'm going to read this to you and we'll conclude this chapter with this. | |
| It says right here, be on your guard so that your minds are not doled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, or that day will come upon you unexpected. | |
| Again, for clarification, we don't know the day. | |
| We don't know the hour. | |
| We only know the season. | |
| That's what Jesus told us. | |
| We don't want to be any of those things, carousing, drunken, worried of life, or that day will come upon us unexpectedly. | |
| But be alert at all times. | |
| Verse 36 says, praying that you may have strength to escape all of these things that are going to take place to stand before the Son of Man. | |
| Friends, I want to encourage you by saying this: Yes, there are going to be trials and tribulations. | |
| Yes, there are going to be hard things that you face. | |
| Life isn't always going to be a bed of roses. | |
|
Jesus Died to Save You
00:04:34
|
|
| But, friends, we have a good God who sacrificed his only begotten son so that we could have eternal life. | |
| This is a message from your friend, Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| This is one of my favorite words: Jesus died on the cross to save you. | |
| Watch this from your friend, and we're going to come back to the program. | |
| Jesus Christ did not come to destroy you because of your sin. | |
| No, Jesus died on the cross to save you. | |
| Amen. | |
| And if you think everybody should be destroyed that's caught in a sin, where are you going to get saved? | |
| Where will you be able to go to heaven? | |
| That's right. | |
| All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. | |
| I'll tell you, this is so powerful. | |
| Here's the answer to the sin problem: it's not banish them, it's not fire them, it's not kick them out. | |
| It's if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. | |
| Come on, people have made fun of the church because it's narrow-minded. | |
| I've seen evil in the church. | |
| The church said you're not good enough. | |
| That's not true. | |
| Nobody's good enough. | |
| Amen. | |
| Nobody's good enough. | |
| So, who the heart man believes under righteousness, when the mouth confession is made into salvation. | |
| That's why we're so loud about Jesus. | |
| Yes. | |
| We confess him. | |
| Jesus Christ is my Savior. | |
| Yes. | |
| You say, Jim, you did bad stuff. | |
| I know you did. | |
| Well, the whole world knows my sins and a lot more. | |
| Some of you just have never been exposed. | |
| I know. | |
| So, do you want the real deal or do you want a left-wing salvation? | |
| Quit your job, go away, go crawl up in a corner somewhere. | |
| Come on, how many have sinned in this room? | |
| Raise your hand. | |
| All right, you're all fired. | |
| No, that's not what Jesus came to die. | |
| This is what is so screwed up, people. | |
| Do you get what I'm saying? | |
| Amen. | |
| Yes. | |
| Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord says it right there shall be saved. | |
| Thank you. | |
| This is what we need. | |
| We need a revolution of Jesus Christ. | |
| He died on the cross. | |
| That's why to tear the cross, they don't want the cross. | |
| They hate the cross. | |
| Amen. | |
| That reason alone is why there is truly a war on Christianity. | |
| You can turn on your television and see that whenever people are mocking a religion, it's always Christianity that's in the forefront. | |
| We don't see Islam being mocked. | |
| We don't see Hinduism being mocked. | |
| We don't see atheism being mocked. | |
| Whenever there is a religion to be the subject of somebody's mockery or jokes, it is always Christianity. | |
| And friends, you may wonder why it is always Christianity because it's the one true religion. | |
| Because they know it's the only one that actually has a real God behind it who can feel the emotion of a people that he created, that he loves, that he sent his son to die for, mocking him. | |
| That is why the devil loves to poke and prod and try to destroy Christianity. | |
| But, friends, Christianity will be here. | |
| Why? | |
| Because we love Jesus. | |
| And it says, we love our lives not even unto the death, friends. | |
| We are willing to overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. | |
| Go out and share your testimony with someone, help bring someone else into the household of faith. | |
| That's a word from your friend, Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| We love Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| He's still the watchman on the wall here. | |
| We were just on the phone with him this morning, right before the program. | |
| Friends, he wants you to continue to stand and pray for this nation to continue to stand and fast for this nation so that we can see a brighter future for not just this generation, but generations to come until the Lord sees fit that it is time for him to come in all of his glory, pulling through those clouds. | |
| But Mondo, right now, if you are in the nation of America, I know other nations as well, but we're here based out of the United States. | |
|
Truce Breakers: Fires and Insurance
00:03:32
|
|
| If you see the nation right now, it doesn't seem like there's a bright future right now. | |
| We're seeing a Los Angeles wildfire just burn through right now. | |
| And actually, they're bracing for more fire right now. | |
| It's not stopping anytime soon. | |
| And then the aftermath of the wildfires is going to continue for several years. | |
| We are going to see a culture that is going to go against each other, but it's all biblical. | |
| If you go back to 2 Timothy chapter 3, there's a word there that most people don't understand or they bypass it. | |
| But we are watching this word truce breakers. | |
| What do I mean by that? | |
| The companies, the insurance companies, are about to go upside down. | |
| I am surprised that there's not more people walking away from those policies right now because of what we just witnessed in Los Angeles, California. | |
| Yeah. | |
| But if you want to know what the word truce breakers means, all you have to do is read this headline: The insurance industry is going to be absolutely devastated by the Los Angeles fires. | |
| Why? | |
| Why would you walk away from the moment that people need you the most? | |
| You're watching Gabby Newsome. | |
| Listen, Darren, when you hear politicians pull funding from the very issues that hurt those types of cities, why should America trust those types of politicians? | |
| This is why electing leaders that can have discernment is so key. | |
| Discernment is, in my humble opinion, is common sense. | |
| There's certain common sense that you don't just throw away if you know you're dealing with fires every year. | |
| The last thing you want to do is cut the budget of the fire department, right? | |
| What did Gavin Newsom do? | |
| He cut $100 million in funds from fire prevention last year. | |
| On top of that, Mayor Karen slashed almost $20 million from her city's budget. | |
| And look at what's happening right now. | |
| Yet, you want us to trust you. | |
| And a lot of insurance companies weren't letting people just a few months ago redeem their fire insurance for their homes. | |
| They don't want to lose money. | |
| They're about to. | |
| Yeah, you bridge into the game. | |
| And, friends, it's very difficult sometimes because you bridge into this game of online, everybody has an opinion. | |
| It looks like, you know, half of it's conspiracy, half of it's not conspiracy. | |
| Nobody knows what to believe anymore. | |
| All we're doing is simply presenting facts. | |
| We're not saying this was a planned attack on the people of California or this was a natural disaster. | |
| Friends, all we're saying is these are the facts that happened. | |
| The budget cut $20 million from people who are supposed to go and fight fires. | |
| They're draining reservoirs of water that are supposed to go to help fight fires. | |
| Insurance companies aren't allowing people to redeem fire insurance for one of the most fire-prone places in the entire world. | |
| Then we have a fire, and the world goes, Oh man, I wish we could have done something about that. | |
|
Pastor Brian's Call to Action
00:04:34
|
|
| Yeah, how about that? | |
| We could have done something about that. | |
| We could have. | |
| Now, I'm not saying the $20 million brought back into the budget or the reserves or the water reservoirs being filled up again, or their restoring of the insurance policies back to these people would have stopped the fire entirely. | |
| There still would have been devastation, there still would have been loss of lives, loss of homes. | |
| But I'm saying is, why are we not giving the American people the tools that they need to fight these things? | |
| But you know who's showing up? | |
| The church. | |
| That's right. | |
| The Dream Center is a huge deal. | |
| The Dream Center is opened up the moment this started happening. | |
| Matthew Barnett got a call out on social media and said, For any family, he didn't say only Christian families. | |
| He said, Every family is welcome to the Dream Center. | |
| And they're listening 24 hours a day. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Pastor Brian Bolt, he's been here on this program many times. | |
| You might have seen his show on the PTL Television Network. | |
| Their church in Whittier is doing an incredible outreach as well. | |
| They're feeding their clothing. | |
| They're giving homes. | |
| I mean, this is what the church should be doing. | |
| Well, yes, there's devastation, friends, but what you're witnessing right now is the church stepping up to the home plate and hitting a home run by doing this, friends. | |
| That right there, what you're seeing on the screen, is what the church should be doing all the time. | |
| There shouldn't be people in our cities that are homeless, hungry, without a shelter. | |
| Friends, we should be stepping up. | |
| And I want to say thank you to the Dream Center. | |
| Thank you to Pastor Brian Bolt. | |
| Thank you to every local pastor who says, I take this as a personal responsibility to take care of people. | |
| Mondo, you grew up in this area. | |
| These are homes when you see those things on the screen. | |
| These are homes that you've seen. | |
| You've driven past. | |
| You grew up going to these places. | |
| And to see politicians then watch a place that you once loved just burn to the ground for the sake of saving money or putting money back into other funding or politicians' pockets. | |
| I mean, how sad is that? | |
| It's heartbreaking because we have to go back. | |
| They don't care about the people. | |
| It's all about the people. | |
| The people have always been the foundation. | |
| And as I'm watching this, you know, a lot of close friends have lost their homes. | |
| A lot of family members had to evacuate. | |
| Some have lost their home. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| It's heartbreaking to watch from afar, but it's also encouraging to know that the church is showing up as the church should. | |
| And now you wonder. | |
| And listen, during COVID-19, they wanted to shut down the Dream Center. | |
| They wanted to say that the Dream Center was a non-essential place. | |
| Yet look at what's happening right now. | |
| The Dream Center, God has, oh, you're going to get me so fired up. | |
| God has prepared the Dream Center to be a lighthouse in the middle of one of the most historic natural disasters that America has witnessed up to this date. | |
| Yet, these are people that love God. | |
| These are people that are willing. | |
| And every single day, iHeartRadio has reached out. | |
| Some of the biggest stars in the world are recognizing that the lighthouse is the church. | |
| Yes. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| Pastor Brian Bolt, helping people and all that, they witnessed themselves led over 600 people to the Lord. | |
| Amen. | |
| The Bible says this: where sin abounds, come on, preach it to me. | |
| I know you know the word at home. | |
| Much more grace abounds. | |
| God's judgment is going to happen on one hand, but his greatest love, showing a love, is going to happen at the very same time. | |
| Don't just focus on the judgment, focus on the gospel of Jesus Christ that's still saving humanity, that is still healing humanity, that is still calling humanity back home. | |
| This is the hour of the church. | |
| This is the hour of the church. | |
| You just read one of the most important scriptures to you right now because more events. | |
| And listen, can I give you this? | |
| And I'll be quiet because this show is a ministry that is a watchman on the wall. | |
| We all have our plates. | |
| The dream center is boots on the ground. | |
| I feel like we're the, what do you call us? | |
|
Rocks Crying Out
00:02:51
|
|
| The we're just watchmen. | |
| I mean, we're like, we're watchmen, absolutely. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| We're watching from afar. | |
| It feels like we're the Air Force. | |
| And I know you guys are in the Army. | |
| I'm sorry. | |
| That's a disrespect. | |
| Forward observers. | |
| But listen to what's happening at the very same time. | |
| Experts on red alert, that's as high as you can get as 100 volcanoes in Antarctica edges closer to erupting. | |
| This is another one. | |
| U.S. No tsunami threat, but after a powerful magnitude six-point earthquake strikes off the coast of Japan, six to point two, six point two magnitude earthquake strikes southwest Mexico. | |
| I mean, I can go on and on and on, all happening at the same time. | |
| We are seeing a convergence of events that is maximizing to what they call the pressure of the ages. | |
| I say the tectonic plates are crashing into each other. | |
| All that is, friends, and you know this, is simply two magnificent sized rocks underneath the ground crashing into each other. | |
| And that is what causes the earth to shake. | |
| You can look it up, find a YouTube video, see how earthquakes work. | |
| You know, somebody said this a long time ago, and it was in the word of God. | |
| You know, they said, if we don't cry out, the rocks will cry out. | |
| I put it very, very simple. | |
| And I thought about that. | |
| Some preacher was preaching. | |
| I thought about that. | |
| I said, why have we never correlated that with earthquakes? | |
| Wow. | |
| Those are simply large, large-scale rocks. | |
| Friends, if we aren't going to cry out and worship the Lord, the earth's going to do it. | |
| And friend, when the earth does it, you'll feel it. | |
| When the earth does it, the earth decides to do it, you're going to feel it, friends. | |
| That's why whenever we see in Luke 21, we're going to see earthquakes in diverse places. | |
| Why? | |
| What's happening in Luke 21 that we see? | |
| The world is becoming more lawless. | |
| There's less worship going up to the throne room. | |
| And friends, the less worship that we see go up to the throne, the more the rocks will feel the need to cry out. | |
| The more earthquakes we're going to see, the more, because people always thought it was a QC story. | |
| And we saw, you know, we'd see a pebble on the side of the road with a mouth on it, you know, singing a glory to the Lord. | |
| Friend, that's not what it's talking about. | |
| When the rock cries out, we will feel it. | |
| I believe that is a direct correlation to these earthquakes happening globally, Mondo. | |
| It's the signs that Jesus prophesied that will take place as we're nearing the end of the age. | |
| It's not the end of humanity. | |
| It's the end of an age that changes everything to put our focus back on the realization that the king is coming back. | |
|
Eternal Position Prayer
00:11:53
|
|
| Amen. | |
| Very few sermons about the king coming back gets preached because all these things have to take place. | |
| We preach, we got more books regarding the birth of Jesus, the resurrection of Jesus, but very few books and subject matters about the return of Christ because look at everything that has to take place. | |
| You know how many times I counted that you said, and then. | |
| And then. | |
| That's right. | |
| And then. | |
| Pay attention to and then because the message is in and then. | |
| When you understand how and then happens, then we can pay attention to the return of the king. | |
| Amen. | |
| What a glorious day that'll be as well. | |
| Friends, we all want to be alive for that. | |
| If you're not alive, you'll be resurrected. | |
| You'll become alive. | |
| We'll all see. | |
| Every eye is going to see that glorious day. | |
| Friends, it will be a good day for you if you know the Lord. | |
| But if you don't know the Lord and if you haven't given your life to him, if you haven't made your will subservant to his will, it will not be a good day for you. | |
| Friends, I know you can turn on any Christian broadcast and hear a really positive, good word for an entire 60 minutes. | |
| And I chuckle, you know, because I realize we get a lot of letters say, hey, you know, we love the show, but you guys are kind of harsh. | |
| Friends, to tell somebody the truth is love. | |
| For me to care more about your temporary comfort than your eternal position, that means I don't love you. | |
| Friends, if you're watching this right now, we actually do love you. | |
| I care more about your eternal position than your temporary comfort, than your temporary happiness. | |
| I really don't care if you're here on the earth and you're comfortable, but you're living in sin, friends. | |
| I don't care about you. | |
| I want you to live eternally with Christ Jesus. | |
| And that only comes through eternal position. | |
| Eternal position only comes through saying yes to Jesus Christ, picking up your cross and following him daily. | |
| It's not a prayer you pray one time, friends. | |
| I know I may be disrupting some of your theological takes of the once saved, always saved. | |
| Friends, please continue to live a good life. | |
| Please continue to do that. | |
| The Bible says no man can pluck you out of the hand of God. | |
| But friend, you can remove yourself from the hand of God. | |
| You can, like the prodigal son, leave the home and say, I'm going to go do my own thing. | |
| But friends, the beauty of grace and mercy is that we have the opportunity to continue to come back. | |
| A righteous man falls down and what does he do? | |
| He doesn't continue to lay there. | |
| He gets back up and keeps pressing on towards the goal. | |
| Now, friends, I truly believe that there has never been a more important day if you don't know Christ than the day you are living right now. | |
| You're not promised tomorrow. | |
| You're not promised the drive home. | |
| You're not promised the drive to work. | |
| Friends, if you don't know Christ Jesus, today's the day. | |
| Call our number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| We would love to pray the salvation prayer with you. | |
| We would love to say that you are now a member of the body of Christ. | |
| And friends, if you've been living a life where you will have that moment in Matthew where you look at Jesus and say, well, Lord, didn't I prophesy in your name? | |
| Didn't I cast out demons? | |
| What about all these great things? | |
| Look at this list of stuff that I compiled over the 70, 60, 50, 80 years that I live, God. | |
| Look at all the good things that I did. | |
| You know, say, yeah, but I didn't know who you were. | |
| I never knew you. | |
| I never had intimacy with you. | |
| So depart from me. | |
| Friends, we want to hear the well done, my good and faithful servant. | |
| I want you to hear, well done, my good and faithful servant. | |
| So yes, I understand, friends, that sometimes we're harsh and we're straight to the point and there's not a lot of gray area. | |
| It's black and white. | |
| And, you know, I wish that I could be a little bit more gentle in my words sometimes. | |
| But friends, I care more about your eternal position than I do, you know, say, oh, you know, he's being harsh today or he's being a little too hard on the show today. | |
| Friends, I want you to be saved. | |
| I want you to spend eternity with Christ Jesus because eternity in hell is a real option. | |
| It's a real thing. | |
| I know you don't hear a lot of TV ministers talking about hell, but friends, it's real. | |
| There's no, you know, we have a lot of people that's coming up now that people are saying, you know, hell doesn't exist. | |
| Hell's not real. | |
| There's no place that you're going to go to. | |
| Well, friends, the word of God says it's real. | |
| And the word of God says that if you don't accept Christ Jesus into your heart, that's where you're going to go. | |
| This isn't a Turner Burn style message. | |
| This is simply me saying, I care for your eternal position so much that I'm willing to go out there and let the social media people make fun of me. | |
| I'm willing to go out there and let the people call me whatever names that they want to call me. | |
| I don't care about that anymore. | |
| I genuinely don't. | |
| I care about bringing people into the family of Christ. | |
| Friends, if you have lost loved ones, you should be on that phone as often as you possibly can, telling them about how much Christ loves them. | |
| If you have lost family members who you know maybe have been believers at one point or have never become a believer, you should be reaching out to them as much as you possibly can. | |
| And if they don't talk to you, find someone they will talk to, friends. | |
| Eternal position is at stake in the times we're living in. | |
| The Bible says in the last days that they'll even try to deceive the very elect. | |
| Friends, we're the elect. | |
| If we're a believer, we're the elect. | |
| They're going to try to deceive us into saying, no, maybe God isn't faithful. | |
| Maybe he isn't good. | |
| Maybe you should take a mark of the beast so that you can feed your family. | |
| Friends, we want to ensure that we stand on the word of God. | |
| We want to make sure that your family's prepared spiritually, first and foremost. | |
| That's the most important preparation you can do. | |
| You can prepare everything else you want. | |
| You can have home insurance, car insurance, life insurance. | |
| You can be insured every way, which way, up, down, sideways, wherever you want to be, insured on everything. | |
| But if you're not spiritually prepared, none of it matters. | |
| Paul says it best. | |
| This life is a vapor. | |
| It'll go by very, very quickly in the grand scheme of eternity. | |
| This life is a vapor. | |
| Spiritual preparation is the number one concern of this ministry. | |
| Physical preparation, we believe, is very, very important as well. | |
| Well, people say, well, you know, I believe in pre-tribulation. | |
| We're not going to go through anything. | |
| Friends, look around. | |
| We go through everything. | |
| Look at California and tell them nothing bad is going to happen to them before Christ returns. | |
| Look at these eastern seaboard states being devastated by hurricanes and tell one of them, well, friend, before anything bad happens to you, you're going to be raptured up. | |
| Friends, that's why we prepare so that we can be the hands and feet. | |
| So we can do what the Dream Center is doing, so that we can do what we have done many times. | |
| Rebuild whole. | |
| I was walking through the lobby here the other day. | |
| There's a key to a city in our main lobby, and it's because we helped restore and rebuild the entire town. | |
| Friends, that's not a brag on the ministry. | |
| That's saying you partnered with us to make people's lives normal again. | |
| You partnered with us to bring the gospel to those people, to bring food to those people, to bring clothing to those people in Amocoly, Florida, in Houston, Texas, in California, and the hurricanes that just happened on the eastern seaboard. | |
| You are the reason that we get to continue to be the hands and the feet of Jesus. | |
| Friends, the message is the most important thing. | |
| Jesus is coming back soon. | |
| We really believe it. | |
| We really stand by that message. | |
| That wasn't just a message from your friend, Pastor Jim Baker, the watchman on the wall. | |
| We carry the same mantle, the same message that we believe will never change, that Jesus is returning for a good, spotless, and clean bride. | |
| And we, church, while we are not perfect, we are called to be that spotless and clean bride that he is returning to. | |
| You can only do that through a relationship with him, though. | |
| You can only be spotless and clean in the eyes of Jesus, being covered in the blood of Jesus, being covered in the sacrifice, the mercy. | |
| The Bible says that the Lord delights in showing mercy. | |
| There has been times where you maybe have fallen down and you say, Lord, I don't deserve grace. | |
| I don't deserve mercy. | |
| Well, get in the boat with the rest of us. | |
| None of us do. | |
| Literally, none of us do. | |
| It doesn't matter how many years you've preached, how many sermons you've spit out, how much time you spent reading the Bible. | |
| None of us human beings deserve the grace or the mercy. | |
| That's why it's a gift. | |
| None of us can earn the grace or the mercy. | |
| That's why it's also a gift. | |
| Friends, we have earned it not through anything we have done, but by accepting the good gift that Christ gave us on the cross. | |
| We don't need anything other than Jesus. | |
| You don't need a new car, a new home. | |
| Those things are nice, and I want you to be comfortable. | |
| I do. | |
| I want you to live a good life where you have clothes on your back, a roof over your head, food in your belly. | |
| But Paul said it best, and we've taken the verse out of context sometimes. | |
| We're saying, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| And, you know, it's on a picture of a guy shooting a basketball. | |
| That's great. | |
| I'm glad. | |
| I'm glad he can do that through Christ. | |
| But what Paul was referring to is, I have learned how to be rich and I've learned how to be poor. | |
| I've learned how to be homeless and I've learned how to have a home. | |
| I've learned how to have a lot and have not a lot. | |
| Friends, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| Yes, I get the motivational thing. | |
| Keep putting those up in high schools. | |
| We want to see those. | |
| Friends, you know, the people getting the Philippians 4 tattoo on them, by all means, if you're going to get that tattoo, at least you're getting a Bible verse on you. | |
| At least you're getting a Bible verse slapped on you. | |
| Friends, get it. | |
| What I'm trying to say is know that it's not referring to very carnal things. | |
| It's referring to things that you're going to go through in life. | |
| Friends, when you're suffering, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| When the Lord makes you a millionaire, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| When you've lost your family, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| When you have an abundance of family, I can do all things through Christ. | |
| That is what our brother Paul was referring to: that in any situation, I can be comfortable knowing I have Christ Jesus. | |
| And friends, we want you to have the same comfort. | |
| Friends, call that number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| We want to pray a salvation prayer with you. | |
| I want to thank you for standing with this ministry as we refuse to compromise the message, as we refuse to censor the prophets, as we refuse to censor the ministers. | |
| We will continue the PTL television network, our 24-hour television network, and we will tell our broadcasters the same thing we always do: give the word of the Lord as the Lord gives it to you. | |
| We're not going to censor them. | |
| We're not going to tell them to shut up and get off our platform as they talk about current issues. | |
| What we are going to say is: if God gave it to you and it lines up with the word of God, continue to preach it, friend. | |
| That is a 24-hour network, the PTL television network. | |
| We stand by that promise that it will stay uncensored as long as we are here, as long as the Lord decides to tarry. | |
| And friends, we love you. | |
| We care about your eternal position. | |
| We want you to spend eternity in heaven. | |
| If the Holy Spirit has prompted you today, call that number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Let us pray that salvation prayer with you. | |
| Go get in a good Bible-believing church. | |
| Go get baptized. | |
| Go put it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, X, whatever you want to do. | |
| Tell people, I believe in Jesus Christ, the only way to heaven. | |
| Friends, go tell someone. | |
| Tell someone that you love Jesus and tell someone that Jesus loves them. | |
| Friends, whatever it is that you're about to go do, whether it's go to work or you're coming home from work, you're relaxing or you're about to start your day. | |
| I want you to remember this because this is key. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker has said it thousands of times. | |
| And I want you to know it's not just words, but it's the reality of how God thinks about you. | |
| That He loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| Bye-bye for today. | |
| We'll see you on the next broadcast. | |
| God bless you. | |
| Hey, thanks for being on with us. | |
