Stewardship And Faith 00:15:35
Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Today, our special guest is the National Director of Faith Engagement and a senior fellow at the Center for American Values and president of Free Chapel College, Dr. Rich Rogers.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo Delevega.
And now, live from Grace Street at Fortingside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, you're watching the PTL Television Network, friends.
It's an honor you chose to tune in with us today, whether you're watching this live or on video on demand.
Mondo, there's so many different ways that people can watch us on the PTL television network.
We have not only our satellite networks, we're on cable stations as well as all the different social media outlets.
Absolutely.
You can watch us on YouTube, Facebook, of course, but I love the Roku.
A lot of people are watching Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick.
That's right.
That's a brand new one.
The other one, Free TV, is another one.
That's right.
And then we're working on several others that are going to carry this program for free as well.
So that's a miracle.
Amen.
We're planning on revisiting our distribution this year.
You know, there was a time during 2020, we went through some turbulence and lost some stations, but it's okay because we're getting them back.
Amen.
I laugh when you say turbulence because you're being nice.
It is a nice day.
You know, they came after this ministry.
And just to paint the picture, we went from 24 outlets.
That means 24 ways of distribution for this television program to two.
So that tells you from 24 down to two, that makes an impact on everything that we're doing.
But I believe that this year, we're going to start heading back to gaining ground and being able to continue to distribute this program.
Amen.
You know what I love about our partners as well is that even when we reduced ourselves down to two, they would continue to try to find the show.
And you know what?
I've said this many times, friends.
I don't care if I sound like a broken record.
I'll continue to say it.
If there is someone who doesn't want to broadcast this show because we believe the tenets of the Bible, that Christ is the only way to heaven, that the word of God is our final authority, that there is only one way to heaven, and it is Jesus, friends, that he sits on the throne of our heart.
Friends, if they don't want to broadcast because of those reasons, then that is perfectly fine because we'll never back down from the message of the gospel.
We'll never back down preaching God's goodness, his grace.
And you know what?
There is judgment, but we'll never stop preaching the full message of the word.
You know, the reality is this, and a lot of people don't see it this way.
They don't understand that it's even happening.
But again, I want to paint the picture of where we are in America when it comes to Christianity.
Right now, over a thousand churches are closing each year in America.
That is a picture that tells you where America's faith is at, but also it tells you that Christian television, what they call legacy television, is not existing anymore and is competing with social media outlets that are doing a fantastic job, but yet it is filled with a lot of people that are giving their opinions about what we're doing in Christian television, let alone cable television.
You know, a lot of what I've realized as well, it's the guests we bring on.
It's not necessarily us because we are the interviewers.
It's the guests we bring on.
But friends, there might be a guest that comes on that doesn't have your exact theological view, but we're bringing them on so that we can present the information to you.
And we want you to do what the Breans did in the book of Acts.
Go back, search the scriptures, ensure it lines up with the Word of God, and then allow the Holy Spirit inside of you because you have a personal relationship with Jesus.
So you have the Holy Spirit.
Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
Yes, this is good.
We bring people on.
We want everyone from different backgrounds, different denominations to come have a platform and be able to speak what the Lord is telling them.
You know, there's still an anointing on Christian television.
Don't give up on Christian television.
Tell people there's been an anointing on Christian television since the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, all the way up to now.
And a lot of changes have happened throughout the decades.
But yet, one thing that doesn't change, Ricky, is the anointing that is placed on Christian television.
America saw one of the greatest revivals that goes unnoticed through Christian television.
Some of our greatest move of God were captured through Christian television.
Yet today, Christian television is fighting to stay alive.
I believe, this is my personal opinion, that we cannot give up on what God has anointed for this season.
I believe as we're seeing social media and it's become an outlet where people are out of control, people are giving their opinions.
People are what I call fruit inspectors for the body of Christ.
They're judging without even understanding some of the things that are happening.
But yet, there's a battle going on in Christian media that God is putting into order in order for the church to understand what their mission is.
Amen.
And we do have an important mission, friends.
Our mission is to ensure that not just this generation, not just the people who are watching, but your children and your grandchildren hear the message of the gospel.
That is the most important message, friends.
Salvation.
Why?
Because that has an eternal impact.
Friends, we have a choice to be made here on this earth.
We have free will for that reason.
Friends, we want to make sure that the message is heard to the ears so that the choice can be made.
Because, friends, it's not Ricky or Pastor Jim or Pastor Laurie or Mondo that leads people to Jesus.
No, we point people to the cross, but it is ultimately your choice, friend.
Just like when you were, you know, maybe at church one day or in your home or wherever you were when you accepted Jesus Christ, it was a choice that you had to make.
And that's what we're doing.
We're presenting the information.
We're coming to your home.
We're telling you the good news that there is a king.
He loves you.
He died for you.
He wants you to reign with him forever.
But you have to make that choice.
You know, Mondo, at the beginning of this year, I always pray kind of for a word.
And I was like, Lord, what is the word for 2025?
The word for 2024 that I got at the very end of 2023 was that the Lord was going to purify the pulpit.
He was going to cleanse the pulpit.
And my goodness, if you watch any mainstream media, any news outlet, we saw a purification of the pulpit.
I'm not saying all of it was right because there was a lot of slander, but I'm saying there was some purification that happened throughout the church body.
I believe accountability was brought back to the church body.
I believe, you know, holy reverence of the scripture again, holy reverence of the altar again was brought back to the body.
I believe we're going to continue to see that.
But 2025, the Lord told me that this is the year of Matthew 25.
I was trying to say, well, Lord, let's go to Matthew 25 because we, if you know this program, we're always reading out of Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13, the book of Revelation.
But Matthew 25, so I opened it up and I read it.
This is the parable of the 10 virgins, the parable of the talents, and the judgment of the nations.
Friends, I'm going to just read this to you.
If you have your Bible, go ahead and open it up.
I'm reading out of the Christian standard Bible, but you can read out any Bible you want.
You can follow along.
It's Matthew chapter 25.
This is the parable of the 10 virgins.
We're going to break this down for you.
At that time, the kingdom of heaven then will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.
Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
When the foolish took their lamps, they didn't take oil with them, but the wise ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps.
When the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, there was a shout.
Here is the groom.
Come out to meet him.
Then all the virgins got up, trimmed their lamps.
The foolish ones said to the wise ones, Give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.
The wise ones answered, no, there won't be enough for us and for you.
Go instead to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.
And when they had gone to buy some, the groom had arrived.
And those who were ready went with him to the wedding banquet and the door was shut.
Later, the rest of the virgins also came and said, Master, Master, open up for us.
And he replied, truly I tell you, I don't know you.
We also see that elsewhere in the New Testament.
You know, depart from me.
I never knew you.
Therefore, be alert because you don't know either the day or the hour.
You know, Mondo, this is the key theme that I was breaking this down.
The key theme there is preparation.
Spiritual preparation to ensure that when the Lord comes, because he will come at his own divine timing through his father, that we must be prepared.
We can't get prepared when the shout happens.
We have to be prepared when the shout happens.
There are events that are coming that Jesus warned us about, yet the church is asleep.
That's right.
The church is still trying to figure out who's right, who's wrong in their theology.
Yet while we're trying to discuss who's right and wrong, events are taking place that are signaling the beginning of the end.
That's right, because we're not going to know the day or the hour, but the Lord did tell us we will know the season.
That's it.
We will know the season in which things happen.
We don't know the day or the hour.
And if there's ever been anyone on this broadcast who has claimed to know the day or the hour, we don't agree with that.
We know the seasons.
We don't know a day or a time.
You know, the personal responsibility out of this, Mondo, is that spiritual readiness cannot be borrowed or shared.
That is really what I took from there is you can't backpack off of somebody else.
Like when people climb Mount Everest, they get to the top, they take their nice selfie, they say, I climbed Mount Everest.
What you rarely see is the fact that they probably had a Sherpa who carried all their weight up there for them.
Friends, in our spiritual journey, we don't get a spiritual Sherpa other than the Holy Spirit to help us carry our burdens.
But friends, I can't depend on Mondo's faith to get me into heaven, nor can Mondo depend on my faith to get him into heaven, nor can his wife depend on his faith to get him into heaven.
Friends, it goes the same way.
Spiritual preparation solely lies on you.
Now, we can push people in the right direction.
We can ensure that they're constantly being accountable in their walk with Christ.
But friends, ultimately, spiritual preparation is a responsibility.
The key verse there is, therefore, be alert because you don't know either the day or the hour.
Now, the second part of this Mondo is the parable of the talents.
I'm going to read this as well.
If you have your Bible, open up Matthew chapter 25, verse 14.
It says, for it is like a man about to go on a journey.
He called his own servants and entrusted his possessions to them.
To one, he gave five talents.
To another, he gave two talents.
And to one, he gave one talent, depending on each one's ability.
He then went on a journey immediately, and the one who had received five talents went and put them to work and earned five more.
In the same way, the man who earned two more, but in the same way, the man with two earned two more.
But the man who had received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.
After a long time, the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents and said, Master, you gave me five talents.
See that I have earned five more talents.
His master said to him, well done, good and faithful servant.
You were faithful over a few things, so I'll put you in charge of many things.
Share your master's joy.
The master, the man with two talents, excuse me, also approached and said, Master, you gave me two talents.
See that I have earned two more talents.
His master said to him, well done, good and faithful servant.
You were faithful over a few things, and I will put you in charge of many things.
Share your master's joy.
Now, the man who had received one talent also approached and said, Master, I know you.
You're a harsh man, reaping where you haven't sown, gathering where you haven't scattered seed.
So I was afraid and I went off and I hid your talents in the ground.
See, what you have is yours.
And the master replied to him, you evil, lazy servant.
If you knew that I reap where I haven't sown and gather where I haven't scattered, then you should have deposited my money with the bankers and I would have received the money back with interest when I returned.
So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has 10 talents.
For everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough.
But to the one who does not have, even when even what he has will be taken away from him.
And throw this what my Bible says here, this good for nothing servant out into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Now, what we see here, the summary is a master entrusted three servants with varying amounts of money.
Now, upon the master's return, he rewards the faithful servants and punishes the unfaithful servant.
Friends, this is where stewardship comes in.
Believers, we are entrusted with resources, gifts, opportunities, but they must be given back to the master.
We must not just hide our talent.
We must not take the things that the Lord has given us, bury them, and just expect it to all be okay.
Mondo, you've been given many, many gifts over life.
And I'm not talking monetary gifts, the ability to speak, the ability to go out and minister the gospel.
Now, if you knew that you had this ability to talk to people for them to understand the message of the gospel in a simple term, yet you never went out and shared the gospel, that is where the fault would become.
Now, whenever you see this, you see a scripture like this and you say, okay, now I realize I've been given things I need to reproduce, don't you?
Absolutely.
And I think a lot of us, when we discover what our gifts are, how do we put them into practice?
Because a lot of times we operate out of fear.
That's right.
Embarrassment, maybe even shame.
Maybe I don't feel good enough and the enemy tries to discourage you.
But yet the Bible says that greater is he that is in you.
Amen.
I love this scripture right here that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
That's why you know it's truly in the heart.
Absolutely.
And when you believe the scriptures of what God speaks about you and what your talent is, then your heart will be able to speak in a way that your subconscious doesn't have to think about it twice.
You're speaking right from the heart, understanding that what you have discovered your purpose and your destiny to be is something that you want to share with the world.
Amen.
Listen, if God gives you a gift, the last thing you want to do is hide it.
You want to share it.
I mean, look at social media as an example.
People are sharing what they're eating.
They're sharing.
They're sharing what they're saying.
They're serving God gifts and they'll share it.
Exactly.
Yet people in the body of Christ are afraid to write their books.
Oh, I'm going to speak to you right now.
Some of you, God has called you to write songs and books and produce movies and produce, you know, information that is going to unlock the very destiny of that person that has that information, yet you're hiding from it.
Yet you're running away from it.
You know, sometimes God calls you and then you run away from that call.
But it's in that process that God prepares you to understand how to release what he's given you.
I believe this is the season that God is going to release and give you the faith that you need in order to write that book, in order to start that film, in order to produce that music.
I believe that fear has to leave and faith will walk in.
Amen.
I believe that as well.
Friends, we're going to go into this third part of this Matthew 25 right here.
It's the sheeps and the goats.
And Mondo, we've been talking about how there's not, you know, we've heard there are sheep and goat nations, but we had the conversation just the other day where we're trying to tell you that there are sheep and goat churches, friends, and we see that.
Gates of Terror Open 00:12:37
Why?
Because the Apostle Paul wrote letters to churches to correct them.
And we obviously see seven letters to seven churches in the book of Revelation as well.
I've been walking with the Lord 26 years along with some of the greatest men and women of God.
And I have not ever heard that term as being used.
Our dear friend Lance Walnold uses it to describe nations.
That's right.
I've seen prophecy and prophetic words being given about sheep and goat nations, but never describing the church in this form.
Yet, the Bible deals with the church.
That's right.
It says it right here in verse 31 of Matthew 25.
Then the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels are with him.
And then he will sit on his glorious throne, and all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will put his sheep on his right hand of the goat and his sheep on the left hand.
The king will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.
This is the one we've heard many messages on, but friends, this is important to really understand the detail of what's going on here.
For when I was hungry, you gave me something to eat.
I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink.
I was a stranger and you took me in.
I was naked and you clothed me.
I was sick and you took care of me.
I was in prison and you visited me.
Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, and when did we see you hungry and feed you, thirsty, and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and take you in or without clothes and clothe you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?
And the king will answer them, Truly, I tell you this: whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat.
I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink.
I was a stranger and you didn't take me in.
I was naked and you didn't clothe me.
I was sick and in prison and you didn't take care of me.
Then they will too answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or without clothes or sick or in prison and not help you?
And then he will answer them, Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for the least of these, you did not do for me.
And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
What we see here, Mondo, is serving others, especially the marginalized, equates with serving Christ himself.
That was the scripture that Pastor Tommy Bartonet used to get inspiration to build the LA Dream Center.
Amen.
Which has touched millions of lives.
Millions of lives.
It touched my life.
I write about it in my book, and I don't mean to plug my book, but I talked about how Pastor Tommy Barnett and that scripture are a product of this.
Absolutely.
The reason why I'm sitting here today is because of that scripture.
That's right.
That scripture.
I'm the definition of that scripture or I'm the picture of that scripture.
Because I want to tell you something.
When God calls you, oh, you have to understand you got to answer that call, whether it's popular or not.
Amen.
And it is not popular today to help the poor.
It's not popular to help the needy.
It's not popular to be a restorer.
You know that restoration, dad said it years ago, restoration is a dirty business.
That's right.
Very few people want to do it.
Very few people want to get involved.
Everybody wants this mega ministry.
Yet, in order to get to that point, you have to roll up your sleeves and get dirty and start cleaning up the mess.
But I want to tell you something.
In the mess, this is for you.
In your mess, you're going to find your message.
Amen.
You know, we see three major themes from Matthew 25.
It's be ready for Christ's return.
Friends, I believe that we are supposed to be spiritually prepared for the return of Jesus Christ.
We need to use God's gifts faithfully.
Whatever it is that he gives to us, talents, money, everything, we need to ensure that we are having the Holy Spirit tell us how to use those gifts.
And, Mondo, we need to live out a genuine faith so that we can be that sheep church, so that we can be the righteous on his right hand who have taken care of those in need so that we can take care of Christ himself.
It is so important, Mondo, that the church, we've said this many times.
The church is supposed to be the hospitals.
The church are supposed to be the therapy chairs where people can come in and say, I've gone through so much in my life.
How on earth could God still use me?
And he will still use you.
Mondo, your life is a testimony of that.
You wrote it in your book, and I loved your book because of that reason.
You were candid.
You let people know I haven't been a perfect human being my whole life, but God can use you whenever you say, Hey, you know what?
I'm willing to lay it all out on the table.
And God, it now belongs to you.
I think one of the keys is accepting the idea that He has called us to be His disciples.
Amen.
And when you're called to be His disciples, you're willing to die daily.
Take up your cross daily.
Realize that there's no one perfect but one.
Understanding that there's no shame of the past.
And a lot of you have dealt with shame and embarrassment of your past.
And I'm here to tell you, God is not interested in your past.
He's interested in restoring you.
He's interested in making you whole.
He's interested in you letting you know that becoming his disciple, you become one with him, Ricky.
And I understood the process of getting to be there is because we have an important message to deliver to the world because time is getting short.
It is.
We are living in what I believe to be a pressure time, a time of pressure.
That's right.
Things are happening.
Events are taking place on a daily basis.
I believe 2025 is going to be a conversion of events that are going to take place all at the same time that is going to take you by surprise and the suddenlies are going to wake up the church to understand what our responsibility is today.
That's right.
And we have a big responsibility, church, whether you are just a congregant member, you just show up on your Sundays and Wednesdays, or you're a pastor of a church watching this.
We have a big responsibility to ensure that every single person, not only within the four walls of the church, because I believe we've done a really good job evangelizing inside of the four walls of the church.
But friends, we need to spread the gospel outside of the four walls.
Are you able to go to a fast food restaurant and tell someone about Jesus?
The Lord checked me on that many, many months ago where I was at a fast food restaurant.
I told this story before, and the Lord said, Are you willing to go ask that man if he knows Jesus?
I said, Well, of course I am.
And he said, Then get up and do it.
And I said, Oh, okay, you actually mean it.
You actually want me to get up and go do it.
So I did.
I went up and I got up and I had this conversation.
You know, we were able to end up praying for that man, telling him about the Lord.
And I believe a seed was planted that day.
Friends, it is important that we are constantly listening to the small still voice of the Holy Spirit.
Mondo, there's everything fighting for our attention nowadays.
Turn on the news, turn on social media.
Everything wants your attention.
The Holy Spirit isn't going to be screaming into your ear.
Now, sometimes he might.
But friends, for me, I know for you, a lot of times in your life, it is a small still voice that I have to concentrate and focus in on.
But whenever you make the decision to do that, because friends, it's a choice.
I promise you, there will be good things on the other horizon.
Even the way that we look at the news, Mondo, when we're watching news, when we're seeing what's happening around the world, it isn't, oh, well, you know, poor nation, they're going through war, poor nation, they're going through poverty.
We're looking at this and we're saying, how is this applicable to the word of God?
How is this lining up with the times we're living in?
And Holy Spirit, why do you want your church to know about this?
This ministry has stood the test of time for the last 26 years on holding the Bible on one hand and watching the headline news on the other hand and asking God, what is the biblical, listen to what I'm telling you, what is the biblical worldview on what's happening right now?
Not everything that moves is prophetic.
Amen.
Not everything that moves is getting God's attention.
Now, a lot of people are falling into the deception of this Facebook prophets and YouTube prophets, and they have their own opinion, and everything that moves is no.
If you follow God's rhythm, God doesn't move that way.
You got to watch how God moves.
You got to watch his character.
But there are certain events that really God speaks through in order to understand what the time and the seasons are all about.
That's right.
When a nation gets judgment, you have to understand where does that judgment comes through.
And a lot of times when you, oh, I want to challenge you with the word.
Anytime God judges a nation, he starts at the gates of that nation.
America's gates are being judged today.
We're watching in the news right now that terror attack has come into America from within.
That's right.
And I want to tell you something.
We are in trouble at the gates in America.
We are in trouble.
This is what's happening right now.
Police are probing that whether the deli explosion that took place a few days ago that dealt with a bomb that was struck by this amazing Tesla truck exploded in front of the Trump Tower Hotel in Las Vegas.
That's right.
This is something that terror from within has been talked about in this program.
And Pastor Jim, your friend, prophesied in 1999 that there will be terror coming to America from within.
That's right.
The New Year's Eve in New Orleans, there was a terrorist attack, and it looks like ISIS flags are being found inside of the truck, inside of an explosive truck.
And I want to tell you something.
Explosives are being found in some of these areas.
This is a developing story that America must be warned about because prophetic voices like Bob Jones.
I want to do this carefully.
Bob Jones, Jim Baker, David Wilkerson prophesied that there will be bombs.
And even L.A. Marzulian told me the other day that there are bombs that have been planted in America in suitcases that are going to disturb the way of life here in America.
Another judgment at the gates, and I got to go very quickly, is the Venezuelan gang that has come through the gates of the southern border.
That's right, a wide open gate.
And I want to tell you something.
They are planning an attack right before President Trump gets elected and they are trying to come in by the hundreds.
Yet, America is not paying attention because we're too busy in the lives of Hollywood.
We're too busy what's happening with a lot of this gossip that is destroying the church.
Yet, while all this is happening, I believe, I don't know if you believe this way, could God be judging America through our gates?
Could God be warning America through the American values and what's happening right now?
I believe it's a season to get prepared, a time to stand with the church, stand in prayer, start in fasting, start in preparation.
Nothing is wrong by praying and fasting and preparing because the ultimate goal for all of us Christians is to win people for the kingdom of heaven.
It's for us to make it to heaven.
And I want to tell you, but it starts, Ricky, by getting prepared.
That's right.
Spiritual preparation is our number one goal here at the PTL Television Network, the Jim Baker Family Show.
Spiritual preparation.
Ensure that you are prepared spiritually.
But we've been given a mandate by God and we truly believe that, that we are to prepare the church physically.
Why?
We've had the wonderful opportunity to send food out to natural disasters and crises and people who don't have food.
Friends, we believe that we are supposed to be feeding those people.
Whenever there's a natural disaster, where do people go to typically?
Grid Down Chowdown Servings 00:03:50
The church.
Because they know whether they have church hurt or whether they have been out of the church for many years or whether they're active church goers.
They know the church will take care of them.
But, friends, it's our responsibility to get the church prepared so that the church can prepare people.
We have an affiliate program with these wonderful Holy Spirit brothers, the Grid Down Chowdown brothers, Jordan and Nace Roberts.
They created this product so that we could give it into the hands of pastors, elders, church members, so that we can prepare people for any natural disaster, any crisis, or even just now to be able to feed those who need food.
I want you to watch this from our friends at GridDown Chow Down.
We finally found somebody who's giving us real beef that you could put on a shelf.
That's right.
Pretty interesting.
That's right.
It is pretty amazing.
You can refrigerate this to you.
Nope.
You just put it in your basement and put it underneath your bed and you can put it in your pantry.
Not only is it real beef, but man, does it taste amazing as well?
People ask us what's in it.
Yes.
And it's simply just beef.
There's no extra waters.
There's no preservatives.
There's no sugar.
It's just beef.
We take all the best steaks and put it in this little package.
This is the four servings right here.
This equals to one pound when you bring it back to life.
So I'm going to show you exactly what you're getting.
So you just rip off the top, rip off the top.
It has an extra seal, like a Ziploc seal to where you can seal it back up.
So we're just going to take this right here.
So this is two patties, which is equals one pound.
So if you want one serving, if you just, you know, live it by yourself, you can actually just use one serving in this half-pound.
So, and so he'll just go ahead and break these up into smaller pieces.
And this right here is their beef rehydrated with simply water.
This is unbelievable.
This is truly unbelievable.
Is there a way we can get a monthly subscription?
Yes, you can join the wait list.
It went the moment that a monthly auto shipment is open.
Your name will be on the list.
They will make contact with you, but you can order it on a monthly basis.
This shows up to my door every month.
It's grass-fed, grass-finished.
Grass-fed.
I know.
I know what's not in it, more importantly.
Yeah.
And so they're supplementing what they're normally getting at the grocery store for this.
So they're eating it now or they can eat it later.
So they can order it sent every single month.
When they order this meat, this is real meat.
Right.
It's not soybeans.
That's right.
This also retains all nutrients, which is a wonderful thing.
They do not add fillers.
They're not adding preservatives.
They're not using mRNA vaccines on their animals.
Like I said, this is great for emergencies.
This is great for power outages, camping, every day-to-day use.
All righty, Mondo.
Let me have a fork for the I don't need a fork, baby.
I'm a cowboy.
I love it.
What do you think, Mondo?
The texture, the taste.
It's not greasy.
It's not dry.
It's juicy.
It is good.
Yeah, that's right.
So you can eat it right now.
Right now.
And you can eat it 15 years from now.
We need protein.
And so I want to encourage you right now as we're talking about this.
You can go to our website and you will have access.
Not only can you get one pouch, but you can get 24 servings, 36 servings.
There's multiple options available on our website to meet your family's needs.
Also, you can call our toll-free number.
We need to hear from you today.

Friends, we have an exciting guest with us here today.
We have Dr. Richard Rogers.
He serves as the America First Policy Institute as the National Director of Faith Engagement and the Senior Fellow Center for American Values as well.
Did I get that all correct?
You got it all correct.
Come on, I want to make sure.
I want to thank you for being on the broadcast.
It's good to be here again.
It's so good to see you, sir.
If somebody doesn't know what the America First Policy Foundation is or Institute is, what is this in layman's terms?
So, basically, in the year 2020, after we lost the election, then that year, Brooke Rollins started talking to some people that had been in the White House with Trump.
And a lot of the Trump White House, especially a lot of the cabinet, they decided to form a policy organization to combat basically all that they knew was about to happen in the next four years.
And so it was America First Policy Institute.
People said, don't use America First after January 6th.
It'll never go over well.
Stuck with that theme all the way through.
Stuck with it.
Absolutely.
And three years later, I mean, with all of our election efforts, with election integrity, with all the different things that we're doing, about seven of our people are now on his cabinet, this upcoming cabinet.
And we saw victory in November.
That's right, we did.
You know what I love about you is I took my son this year to Pepperdine.
Oh, yeah.
And they, you got to understand, my son is only 14 years old, and college is already looking at him to come and play soccer in their college.
But I fell in love with Pepperdine.
How important was your work there at Pepperdine?
And of course, I'm from Los Angeles, California.
And thank you for working in our school system.
We need a lot of help, by the way.
But what was it like?
And how important was your work at Pepperdine University?
It was incredibly important.
I worked at the teacher education program there, the School of Education and Psychology for about 20 years.
Trained probably over 2,000 teachers that are, and most of them are still in schools today in the School of Education there, training future teachers and training future administrators, also helping kids pass their practice.
And people don't know this about California.
People talk about how poor the education system is there, but it's harder to be a teacher in the state of California than any other state in America.
Really?
Yeah, absolutely.
They have to pass the constitution test, a RICO test, which is reading and literacy, and then the different practices and things like that.
And so, but amazing, amazing students at Pepperdine.
I know why you fell in love with Pepperdine.
You stood on that hill and you looked out and you saw the ocean.
You said, this must be where God wants us to be.
I said, oh, this is God's country.
Doctor, what is the Lord speaking to you for 2025?
As we enter this year, I know there's a lot being spoken, prophecy, but what's the Lord telling you?
I think the greatest thing we have to understand, and I'm talking to the people, the grassroots folks that are in churches and I'm talking to pastors.
We have been given an opportunity and not a guarantee.
And so it's not like we won the race in November and so now we can just kind of say, hey, we can kind of put it all there on that administration and say, okay, let's see if this goes.
No, we've been given an opportunity, not a guarantee.
And that means that we have to probably work harder than we even worked in the last four years.
But we're going to work so much smarter because we're in all those places we weren't before.
We are a data-driven machine at AFPI that we were able to see things coming long before they get there.
We were able to walk pretty much hand in hand with the RNC and a lot of their strategy and things, focusing on what's called the low-propensity voter, the low-propensity voter.
That's the people that believe like we believe.
Values And Uncertain Times 00:11:45
They're registered to vote.
They voted sometime in the past, but they generally don't vote.
And so that was a major, major focus, and we saw dramatic gains in those areas.
And so what do I see looking at 2025?
I see taking the coalitions that have been built, making them stronger, identifying more groups that are out there doing amazing things and linking arms with us so we're not walking all over each other, but we're strategic in how we approach things.
I see pastors that are not going to have the excuse anymore of, oh, I can't vote for Donald Trump.
Well, Donald Trump's not going to be in the ballot anymore.
And so now they're going to have to start talking about the values because their people are living where those values are.
I think we're going to see some relief on American families in the grocery stores at the gasoline pump and some of the social pressures that have been there with the transgender ideology in schools, I think, are going to start to lift and kids just get to be kids again.
Amen.
Wow.
Amen.
You know, I want to ask you, Dr. Rogers, because I believe in the church.
We believe in the church.
But yet the church has failed to re-engage in policy or even what's happening in the culture.
What area does the church has to collectively, as an institution, need to step up across the nation to better influence the culture and policy?
Well, I want to start by saying in 2020, we were able to see like one of the largest actually evangelical vote turnouts in modern history.
And in 2024, we increased that between 5 and 7%.
And so people did show up at the ballot box in greater numbers even than what it was in 2020.
So we're seeing some improvement there.
The Catholic Church came through in a major way.
The people, the rank and file of the Catholic Church showed up to vote.
They voted their values.
You didn't necessarily see that coming, but that's what they did.
And the Amish as well.
The Amish came through.
It's an incredible thing in Pennsylvania.
I'm telling you, the Amish came through.
All the Arab Christian nations in Michigan and New Jersey.
New Jersey is now a battleground state, thanks to the work of some people there in that state, making it something that's now actually in play moving forward.
But the church, I think it's the young pastors, you young pastors that are out there.
We need you to use those social media platforms that you've been building for the last five or six years.
I'm not talking about politics, but I am saying that you have to talk about the values.
You have to connect with your congregation in ways where you feel what they're feeling when they send their kids to school.
You feel what they feel when they're buying groceries, when they're getting gas in their car.
You feel what they feel whenever their kids are confronted with different things on social media.
And it's one thing to have major platforms, but it's another thing to actually engage at a level where your people have to live.
And I think that's what our, especially our young pastors, they have to get not in the political game, but in the values game.
And they've got to talk about those values, stand for those values, and encourage their congregations to vote their values.
Well, that is the role of the pastor is to point people to the cross.
And when you're pointing people to the cross, you're putting them on a moral compass that points to Christ every single time.
So what you're doing is you're talking your values, friends.
You're speaking into those values.
Yeah, I want to ask you, how does the AFPI incorporate faith-based perspectives into its policy development?
And what role do you play with that?
Yeah, and from the very founding of AFPI, America First Policy Institute, they started with, they identified these 10 pillars.
You can go to AmericaFirstPolicy.org and you can see what those pillars are.
But they created biblical foundations for each of those pillars from the very beginning.
AFPA was built off of biblical foundations.
I got to help write those.
Pastor Franklin got to help write those.
Paula White, I can go right through the list of the different pastors that were part of putting those together.
But that was foundational.
Foundational.
And then the other thing, you know, Paula there at the White House, when she was, and both Pastor Franklin and Paula there working with Donald Trump 2016 to 2020, they brought over 10,000 pastors to the White House during that four-year period.
And then in this last election in 2024, we really re-engaged that entire coalition of pastors.
And so you're going to see, I think, a greater level of involvement visually, not just for photo ops, but their listening sessions, think ticks, all those kinds of things.
You're going to see those in a much greater way in this White House.
Can I ask you a question?
And I think you and I talked about it privately, but it's the elephant in the room when it comes to Christians involved in politics.
How do you respond to the critics that talk about you Christian nationalists involved in politics?
They use that as a slang, almost a derogatory term.
Exactly.
You're a Christian nationalist.
That's bad to be a Christian and support your nation at the same time.
Yeah, they're saying that to people that don't identify as that, they don't give themselves that.
It's almost like a curse word.
I don't know Jack's a slur, yeah.
Exactly.
In fact, I'm working on an op-ed on that very topic, putting to rest the myth of Christian nationalism.
Basically, they're saying, I think it's linked to the Donald Trump aspect because he's an America first.
That's what he stands for.
And so what they do is they're trying to say, so if you're political, you can't be a Christian, because that's what they're really saying.
You're not really true Christians.
You're more about your nationalism than you are your faith.
Well, I tell you what, I'll match our churches giving to missions with anybody.
I'll match what we do in Israel when there's a natural disaster in America.
You're talking about churches that give in the greatest times of need all over the world.
There's nothing nationalist about that.
You want to talk about Southern Baptists that they're calling nationalists?
Nobody does more for world missions than the Southern Baptists do.
And so it's an excuse not to have to get involved.
And sometimes, like, we eat our own.
Sometimes we like to throw rocks that make no sense.
But we've got to stop doing that.
We've got to stop seeing each other that way oppositionally and understand that we're really all about the same things when it comes to how we want to raise our family, the values, the biblical values, all those kinds of things.
We just believe that people died for us to have the right to vote in an election.
You have a podium that you can, that God wants you to talk about the values, especially when those values in 2024, more than any time in history, those values were challenged.
That's right.
And if there ever was a time to talk about the values, that was it.
You know, what a strange time in America where we live where we don't want an America first president.
Friends, the man running the United States of America, obviously he has a Supreme Court above him.
But the man in the seat, why would we not want him to be America first?
Well, and it's not the world's tax dollars that go to Washington, D.C.
It's American tax dollars.
And so, of course, there should be an America first push.
You know, I've talked about this before.
I had a pushback from a major denominational leader in a state, over 400 churches, this person was over.
And I went there and I said, hey, I'd love to talk to your pastors.
I've talked to the other states that let me talk to their pastors, all that kind of thing.
And at first, he said yes, and then he came back and he says, no, I'm not going to do that.
I just don't think this is the gospel.
I said, wow.
I said, can we talk about that?
I said, no, he goes, I have to protect the flock.
And I said, wow.
So my response is this.
You know, since 2020, over 4,000 young people have died in your state of fentanyl overdose.
So who's protecting that flock?
Wow.
Right.
And so you young pastors that are out there and you leaders in churches, we need you to get involved.
I'm not talking about.
political kinds of things, but I am talking about voter registration.
I am talking about making sure you do that.
And it doesn't just happen every four years.
Sometimes the most critical races in your community happen representatives right there, like in City Hall, school boards, city councils, all those kinds of things.
Those are the things that will affect the families in your church right there in your community.
Wow.
You know, what specific policies does AFPI advocate to protect religious freedom?
Well, to protect religious freedom, the one thing that we do really, really well at AFPI is we understand that it's not just about great gusto and like lots of effort.
There's a whole legal side to all of this.
And so we employ the best attorneys all across the nation.
We had armies of attorneys ready in every single state for any kind of shenanigan that was pulled.
We didn't catch them all, but we got most of them.
You saw a lot of last-minute injunctions and a last-minute Supreme Court decisions because we caught things as they were happening.
But religious freedom, there's nothing more near and dear to us as the church than our ability to talk about sin, our ability to say this is a sin without it being considered hate speech.
That's right.
Our ability to talk to somebody about Jesus Christ, you may be another religion, but to say, okay, let me tell you about the religion, let me tell you about Jesus and not be prosecuted for proselytization.
Our ability to continue to speak out on all major issues, the First Amendment, all those kinds of things, they are vitally important.
And at AFPI, I mean, we literally are ready anytime some little case pops up anywhere where they say, we need some help.
They're coming at us here.
And we're like, yeah, they can't do that.
We'll be right there.
So if Christian businesses that are watching right now, if they get to a situation that they can't handle themselves, can they contact you?
Absolutely.
They can absolutely contact us.
Go to AFPI, AmericaFirstPolicy.org and then do that or contact us.
Either call us there, ask for me.
You can ask me, Dr. Rich Rogers.
They'll know who you're talking about, and I'll help point you to the right person.
But we have people that are ready and able and very connected, very connected in every single state to help you demand and achieve and maintain the rights you're guaranteed under the United States Constitution.
Can we call you?
You can call me anytime you want to call me.
Talk to Misty.
We're going to call you.
You know, I want to say this because we're living in a tumultuous time.
We're living in really uncertain times, but people need to know where people stand on certain issues.
I want to ask you this.
The AFPI stance on the pro-life versus pro-choice issue.
Where do you guys stand?
And can you elaborate on how you defend whatever stance you take?
Absolutely.
And so basically, AFPI is the 2016 to 2020 White House.
And so if you want to talk about our stand on right to life and that kind of thing, it goes back to 2016 and everything that happened between 2016 and 2020.
Roe Versus Wade Overturned 00:11:28
And during that time, you saw three Supreme Court justices that were nominated and passed.
That is hugely significant.
I remember talking to Jensen one day, and we just looked at each other and said, who'd have thought in our lifetime we'd see Roe versus Way overturned?
Okay.
And so basically, it is now back in the hands of the people in the states.
And so that was basically our doctrine.
That basically was what was our hope.
Our hope was to overturn Roe versus Wade.
Our hope was for two Supreme Court justices, and we got three.
We have a chance to get possibly two more in this next four years.
And so our position is that, number one, politically, that it belongs in the hands of the states.
Our position as far as the right to life, we believe that at conception, it's a life.
We believe absolutely that there's a life there, that God is the author of life, that man is not the author of life.
And right now, the greatest danger to babies in the womb is not traditional abortions, it's the pill.
It's these pills that you can take.
And it's just, I mean, literally, that is something that we're looking at and that our attorneys are looking at.
We're looking for regulation on that pill because with that pill, it doesn't just come an abortion.
For many women, there's an extreme amount of bleeding.
People don't realize this when they take that pill.
We see a New York doctor who is now being sued by the state of Texas because she illegally shipped from New York to Texas to a woman.
And that woman is now suffering major health consequences because she shipped this thing illegally from the state of New York to the state of Texas.
So we're seeing that right now.
I mean, Mondo, we are in, like I said, we're living in turbulent times.
We're living in times where it's rocky.
It doesn't, you know, maybe people may turn on the news and it may seem like one day we're winning, one day we're losing.
But friends, I want you to remind you of this.
When you have Christ in your life, when you live a life full of the Holy Spirit, the world may seem like it's shaking, the world may seem like it's rattling, but we know we stand on a firm foundation.
Friends, when your feet is rooted in the word of God, when your feet is planted on the word of God and it won't be shaken to its left or to its right, friends, you know you're on good foundations.
Winds can come, waters can rise, they can try to tear your house down.
But if your foundation is the word of God and it is Christ and Christ alone, you will never be shaken.
I love that you're talking about values.
And I want to tell you something.
Values change when language changes in the culture.
Yes.
Linguistics is one of the keys to dominate the values of our culture.
You don't believe me?
You have to go back in history and study when Great Britain, you know, took over the Bahamas, for example.
They changed.
The very first thing they changed were their linguistics.
Then they changed their values.
And I want to tell you something.
What we're watching in our culture today, look at how they're changing the linguistics, the language of pronouns.
That changes immediately, doctor, the values that we carry as human beings.
Not just Christians, as human beings.
Absolutely.
How challenging.
And I love that you keep talking about the values versus politics.
Some of you are stuck in the politics when it's all about the values.
Again, how important is it for a household in marriage to uphold the values that the Bible speaks about?
Absolutely.
100%.
It has a proven record.
It's a standard to be guided by.
It's that North Star that says this is what's right, what's wrong.
And that's why people like me, I'm a pastor.
I'm not a politician.
That's why people like Jensen Franklin, that's why we get involved.
Because elections matter.
Literally, had this gone the other way, I mean, they could be forcing our kids to either go to homeschool or be in schools where they're forced to use those pronouns.
They're forced to accept this as normal.
But thank God that God has intervened at this time.
And I think you're going to see a lifting of that.
You're going to start to see DEI policies that just start, people just start discarding them in these universities and all these places where they kind of had these strong.
You're seeing the pulling down of strongholds in the education world.
You're seeing the pulling down of strongholds, things that were about to just be fully entrenched and just like law that are just like they've lost all their footing.
And that's because people of faith, people of faith voted their values.
They got out and they voted.
They talked about voting.
They got registered to vote and they made a difference.
Both sides of the aisle, both sides of the aisle.
The senators, they were act, asked, what's the number one issue, the number one voter group that's going to matter the most in the 2024 election?
And they said the faith vote.
The faith vote.
The faith vote made the difference.
And so hugely important.
Do you believe personally that this is the time of reprieve since Donald Trump was elected instead of Kamala Harris?
I feel like God is, there's no way you can see everything that's happened from the assassination attempts to the lawfare to all these different things to not see God and what's happened right here.
I even think that there's people that are on the fence about God that have just started to look at it and go, there's something bigger than what meets the eye here.
Absolutely.
A period of reprieve.
I don't know if I would call it that, but I do believe that God has sustained his hand.
I think that a lot of people, I was at a church in Pennsylvania, and I went early and went to the Sunday school thing there.
And they were going back and forth on the sovereignty of God.
Why vote?
God's going to do what he's going to do.
Why vote?
Why that kind of thing?
And I said, can I say something?
They said, let me say something.
I said, yeah.
But it was God that used the word if.
If, my people, it was God that used the word if.
Yeah, it wasn't man.
It was he that said, you know what?
And if you look in the Old Testament, you'll find several times where God was about to let them have it.
God was about to rain it down.
And literally, it says that he relented.
He said, I relented from what I was about to do because somebody stood in the gap.
Somebody stood in the gap and did that.
And I believe if there's a call on pastors, if there's a call on lay people, if there's a call on, you may be a prayer warrior.
You may not even hold any position at your church at all, but you're a prayer warrior.
I believe there's a call to all prayer warriors to stand in the gap, to stand in the gap.
I constantly say to God, I say, Lord, I go, this is your creation.
These are the people that you created, Lord.
Give them time.
Give them time.
Give them grace.
Give them mercy.
Amen.
You know, give us time.
Relent, even if it's just for a season.
Amen.
Dr. Rich Rogers, we're going to have you back on for a second broadcast.
I want to thank you for being here with us today.
What a blessing it was.
Friends, we want to be able to bring you the best of the best on the PTL Television Network, the Jim Baker Family Show.
Bring the guests who will speak life into you and will speak important facts to you.
Monda, we've seen many times, there's many broadcasts where, you know, it's good.
There's a lot of, you know, feel-good stuff going on, but we want to make sure we're bringing facts to you, friends, that you can open up your word of God.
You can open up your Bible and say, does this line up with the word of God?
And say, yes.
We want to ensure that we can continue to bring you guests that do that.
And that's where a monthly support kicks in.
Matthew 18, verse 19 says this.
I'm reading in the CSB.
It says, again, truly, I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.
Friends, we need to ensure that we are praying into the will of God.
We are praying for revival to spark out.
Yes, within the church, but I'm talking within your family.
I'm talking grandmother, grandfather, father, mother.
I want your grandchildren and your children to see revival within your home where they can experience the Holy Spirit, not just within the four walls of the church.
Yes, they need to experience it there as well, but they need to experience it at your home as well.
Let a Bible study open up in your home where before they go to school, you guys are talking about the word of God, or at dinner, you guys are discussing something of matters of the Holy Spirit or of Jesus.
Friends, let revival spark in your home.
And that's what we're going to be praying with you for.
We have this thing called a wall of agreement, friends.
You guys send photos, you send letters, you send emails that we print off, and we put them on this thing we call the wall of agreement.
And our prayer staff will go and they'll pray on this wall of agreement.
We'll have a stack of pictures.
We'll go through and we'll pray for these families saying, God, save these individuals.
God, we know it is only you that can redeem these individuals.
Bring them back to your heart.
Friends, we're agreeing with you and we want to thank you for standing in this gap and agreeing with us as well.
As we continue to press on and fight the good fight, as we continue to press on and never back down from biblical values, it doesn't matter if stations take us off because we're preaching the gospel.
We'll continue to preach the gospel.
It doesn't matter if people remove us from social media because they don't want to hear we believe Christ is the only way to heaven.
We'll continue to say Christ is the only way to heaven.
Why?
Because it's the truth.
And once you know the truth, you can never separate yourself from it fully.
Friends, you may veer, you may be like a prodigal, you may go for a while, but even the prodigal in the pigpen woke up one day and realized I could be a servant at my father's house and be treated better than I'm being treated here.
But on the way back, what did the father do?
He saw him running from a distance or he saw him coming from a distance and he ran to him.
Friends, I want to encourage you, Christ is ready to run to you today.
All you have to do is start that journey home.
You may have been lost.
You may have wasted your inheritance.
You may have felt like all is lost.
But friends, Christ is ready to see you in that distance.
If he can see you face to face, he's going to run to you.
Expose what you have done to him.
Say, Christ, forgive me of my sins.
Come into my heart.
I want you to rule and reign forever.
I don't want to sit on the throne of my heart anymore.
I can't handle the weight of these decisions.
But friends, I'll tell you right now, he'll happily take that seat as the ruler and reigner and savior of your life, your soul, your body, your spirit, and he'll accept you into his family.
It doesn't matter what you've done.
Friends, come back into the fullness of what Christ has for you.
It's an eternal, eternal blessing because we'll spend forever with him.
Friends, I want you to remember this as you go to work today, as you lay your head down to sleep, that God loves you.
He really does.
Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
We'll see you again for another broadcast tomorrow.
God bless you.
Thank you again.
