Guns, Carry, and Spiritual Warfare 00:09:58
Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Today our special guests are an author and pastor of Mount Calvary Powerhouse Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Bishop Ron Webb and security and preparedness expert Darren Parker.
Our co-hosts today are Reverend Mondo DeLa Vega and Pastor Ricky Baker.
And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Jim Baker.
Well, hello, everybody.
I have a whole lineup of men who stand with me.
I have my security man.
Head of security, that's right.
Darren Parker.
And welcome here for security.
You know, Darren Parker, you were a policeman.
Retired out of law enforcement, yes.
And you have a security company now, but you watch over us here.
Yes.
If somebody come in shooting, what would you do?
Wow, what an introduction.
Here we go.
Wow.
Well, I'm old, so I just ask anything.
Well, that's fine.
Well, the security officer will probably handle that.
You made that one.
Sure.
All those CIs over here.
I want to tip them off.
But I want churches to understand.
Right.
They're not alone when they have security in their church.
Right.
Yes.
Do you ever need security at your church?
It's a necessary.
It's a necessary thing.
What?
Yes, sir, we do.
He's a pastor.
Men and women.
A bishop of many, many churches.
How come we have guns in the church to protect us?
You have to.
Because we've got a lot of craziness.
Because there's crazy people.
We've got a lot of craziness out there.
Do you understand that?
Amen.
Some of you even live here, probably.
No, I won't say that.
That's funny.
But there's always crazy people in the church.
Always.
Somebody ought to write a book called Crazies You Will Have With You Always.
Well, I've gotten off on the wrong foot from this show.
I can do that.
What a way to start a Christmas season, right?
Karen Parker is in Jakuri.
And his wife helps too, because he's sometime here.
Why do churches need security, you think?
Because they're true threats.
I mean, look, you watch the news.
You'll see it.
It's daily.
Something occurring in churches or all over.
Listen, let's talk about active shooters because that's the big thing that we see a lot of that makes the news.
What they do, they go out to make a name for themselves and they go out to become the high score.
So they look for soft targets or easy targets.
And that's where the schools are not becoming so easy anymore, but the schools and churches.
And so that's why they're picking these places.
I don't know what you know about me because I figure you know a lot because you probably researched me.
But I'm high on some lists to be assassinated.
And that's not a secret.
I mean, that's something I know all my life.
When I was at Heritage USA, I'd have maybe 100 death threats a year.
I had one so serious that the police and all the people, Even they won the websites and they got it and they heard the plan.
And so when they drove me to work, I had to lay down in the back of the car.
Jesus.
But it's not going to get better, I don't think.
Trump's going to make things a lot better, but the enemies of Trump and the enemies of us, the enemies of the gospel, they want to destroy.
They can't, oh God, I'm telling too much on it.
I shouldn't talk so much, should I?
But the next phase, I'm telling you, they're going to hit the churches because the only thing that's stopping the enemies of the gospel is the gospel.
Yes.
So they hate the pastors.
They hate the churches that really preach it because the churches helped elect the president right now.
Do you understand that?
Yeah.
I can tell you something about some churches, especially in the country.
Not only do most of the churches have some kind of security set up or in place, but in these country churches, most of the people carry anyway.
You'll hear people said they'll sit down in the pews and you'll hear all this boom, thump, thump, thump because their guns are hitting the pew, the seats.
A lot of these country churches, a lot of people carry anyway.
I don't know what's legal and not legal, but are you legal to show me your gun?
I don't have a gun.
Oh, you do too.
I'm a kid.
donor are fired.
No, I'm trying to get pastors to wake up.
Right.
Yeah.
Because they hate us.
They hate the gospel.
And I'm going to determine to not give up.
I'm seeing warfare on every hand for the church.
Yes.
And I'm not going to put up with Bishop.
Come on.
You're a head of a lot of churches.
Yes.
Am I crazy or what?
No, there's a lot of spiritual warfare.
And you know, one of the things you just mentioned and you alluded to is that the devil hates the truth.
And that means he hates the preachers who's declaring the truth.
And when you made that statement, I thought about in the book of Acts, this is a familiar story to most of us.
You remember when Paul and Silas was in the city, they were preaching the gospel, and there was this young damsel, I think it's Acts chapter 16, that followed them and said that these are men of the most high God that show us the way of salvation.
And the Bible says, after a while, that Paul was grieved in his spirit, he turns around and casts the devil out of the girl, and she gets delivered.
But then, guess what happens?
Then the soothsayers got mad because she bought their masters much gain, and then they attacked the preachers for bringing deliverance to people.
Yeah.
Because the devil benefits from other people's bondage.
But thank God we've got men and women of God that's declaring the truth.
But look what happened to them.
Just because they preached truth, bought deliverance, Paul and Silas ended up in jail for telling.
You're not going to hear many churches talk about this or pastors on television.
But I'm old enough I can talk about anything.
And so I will.
And I want people to love everyone or forgive everyone, but I don't care if I know some of them, like what do you call them?
Congregation.
Congregants, members of your church.
I know some of them carry guns.
And you've trained some, I think.
I don't know.
A few.
But I'm not against that.
And I want other churches to understand, because they have this stupid thing in some cities even, that they don't allow guns.
But the wicked people have guns.
Well, the people that are looking to do harm like that, they go out and they look for places that don't allow guns.
Yeah.
Well, you know, I always think grandma ought to carry a gun because I know grandma wants to carry guns.
And the next house you bust into might be, you think because there's an old granny?
Well, she can shoot a gun just as well as anybody else can.
And I don't like guns.
I was grew up not to have guns by my mother.
My mother didn't want me to have any guns at all.
You watched the Beverly Hill Billies.
Granny could shoot her.
But I want these guys to know they just can't bust into Granny's house.
Our own politicians have really turned against our own people.
And somebody's got to start talking about what's going on.
And the President Trump has won the election, but they still want him dead.
They still want to destroy him.
The other side is trying to put him in jail yet.
Forgive to Be Forgiven 00:07:08
They won't stop their madness.
And that kind of brings me to the subject I've been dealing with lately, is forgiveness.
And you've got to forgive in order to please God.
He says, so if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
That's in the Bible, Bishop.
Absolutely.
If you want to receive forgiveness, you've got to give forgiveness.
And that's really a big thing in the body of Christ.
Now, you've been a pastor for how many years?
For 33 and a half, almost 34 years.
I've been preaching 39, 40 years, but been pastoring 33 and a half years.
But have you ever had a congregation or one person in your congregation that would not forgive?
They were so mad that that person?
More than one.
Really?
But they get mad and they won't forgive.
Yes.
And I've seen them in wheelchairs all crippled up.
And they were just crippled up because of their hatred.
And we try to get them to forgive.
And they said, no, I'm never going to forgive them.
And you're going to hell because you don't want to forgive somebody.
I learned to forgive from my heart when I was in prison.
Yes.
And God sent me a book, God Bennett for Good is the name of the book.
Yes.
And it said, I had to forgive from my heart.
Right.
And then, you know, when I did that, I got out of prison.
And they put me in prison for 45 years.
And I was kind of mad at the people who put me there.
But I forgave them all.
And now forgiveness comes just like that.
Just like that.
Just snap my fingers.
You know.
Well, you know, at one time or another, I believe if you give grace, you'll receive some.
And if you extend mercy, mercy comes back to you.
And to every believer that's listening around the world, we're going to all need some grace one day.
And we're going to all need a whole lot of mercy.
And, you know, and you may feel like you don't need it now because you're on top of the mountain, but one day the mountain will be on top of you.
And you're going to need some mercy.
I promise you.
There was a woman that was caught in the act of adultery.
It was not a rumor.
It was not, you know, someone whispering about her.
These men brought her to Jesus and threw her at the foot of Jesus and says, such a woman ought to be stoned to death.
Jesus just bent down and started writing in the ground and he says, okay, you that are without sin, go ahead and stone the woman.
And the Bible said they dropped their rocks because they were all guilty of something.
Maybe not that thing, but they was guilty of something.
And then he told the woman, go and sin no more.
You know.
You promised to help me write a book, and you're going to write it, and I'm going to help you.
Because I'm getting old, and I don't, I can write books, and I can, I have a hard time reading books right now.
I'm 13 chapters in.
I'm waiting on you.
Here's the next 25.
I want you to buy our book.
Now, I don't care about making money.
I don't have any money.
It brings healing and restoration.
And it brings people out of a stuck place and out of an angry place.
You have to let it go because if you don't, you'll die inside and you'll become bitter.
One of the reasons I got out of bed and came back on the show is I want to preach this because that set me free.
I would still be in prison.
Did you know that?
I'd still be in prison if I didn't forgive everybody from my heart.
Here it says, do not judge.
This is Matthew 7, 1 and 2.
Do not judge or you too will be judged.
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged.
Absolutely.
And with the measure you use, it will be measured unto you.
Isn't that good?
Yeah.
Go on another.
Here's Romans 2.1.
You therefore have no excuse who pass judgment on someone else.
At whatever point you judge the others, you are condemning yourself because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Absolutely.
That's the Bible.
Is that all right?
You know, Jesus gives a story of a man.
Actually, there's two men that's involved, one of which owed this man a great deal of money.
Y'all remember that?
And he goes to him and said, I don't have the ability to pay you back.
I don't have the money.
And the Bible said he released him from that debt and set the man free.
But then on the other hand, there's another man that didn't owe him, not even half that amount, just a small amount.
And he says, the Bible said he grabs him by the throat and begins to choke the man.
And he demands just a small amount.
Now, he's just been released.
He's just been forgiving.
And if anyone should have forgiven, it should have been him.
Sometimes we forget, you know, when we stand in a position of needing to be forgiven, then we won't forgive others who have sometimes done the same thing that we're guilty of.
And some of that, Pastor Jim, is people that are still hurting.
And I do want to say this, people that are hurting do need time to heal.
And I think we need to understand that because we may be in a position where we can quickly forgive.
But that's because we've gone through so much that now a Holy Spirit has ministered to us and we're able to release certain things.
But that's not the case with everyone.
Even though you forgive, it still takes time to bring that healing.
Fighting Back? 00:15:22
And we need to allow people the time they need to receive that healing so that we can move on.
That's why people should go to church.
Amen.
They've got to hear the word.
That's exactly right.
Fox News is reporting that blue state Democrats vowing to fight back against President-elect Trump, his agenda, of course, should it undermine their own state policies?
Why are these governments out of touch with the voters?
They want to fighting Trump.
I mean, I think it's New York, Chicago, some of these big cities.
Wisconsin.
They're not wanting to send the people that are killers back to their own countries.
Wow.
They're going to start with those who have raped, killed, pellaged, did other things, stealed.
They're going to send those back first, and they don't even want to do that.
They're putting up a resistance against Donald Trump.
And I shouldn't use his name because some people see red when they hear Donald Trump.
And I'm thrilled Donald Trump got in, if I can say that.
But he's going to be the president.
So I have a right, I think, to say that I should be able to endorse our president.
But what do you think?
I believe I've always have taken this stand, and I'll never back down from that, is that now that Donald Trump is our new president, the church should rise up and begin to pray a divine covering over him because the Bible says pray for those that are in authority.
Whether you voted for him, whether you like him, whether you don't like him, he is our president.
So pray for him.
Amen.
And not just for him, to all of those that are in authority.
Romans 13 tells us that God ordained the authority.
And there are some people, you know, they still don't accept the fact that it has happened, but it has happened.
It is over.
So we need to pray that God will protect him, that God will give him wisdom.
Amen.
But our trust is in the name of the Lord.
Psalms 146 tells us not to trust in princes, but we trust in God.
Amen.
But he's the one that God ordained to be in the office at this time.
So that means we got to pray for him.
Now it's been a couple weeks since the president has been elected.
What's your impressions of him being elected?
I think it's the will of God.
And I think we should stand with him in prayer and ask God to give him wisdom.
There's a, I mean, he's coming into an office where there's a lot of conflict.
There is wars going on, the economy, you got immigration problems.
I mean, he's walking into a fire, but God can give him wisdom.
And that's what we pray for, the wisdom of God for all of our leaders.
I want to ask both of you.
I sincerely believe we've been as close to the Third World War as we've ever been.
And I believe Trump doesn't want a war.
I believe most people don't want war.
What do you think, Darren?
No, I think you're right.
No one wants war.
Well, no, okay, let me take it back.
There are some people that do want war.
Because the industrial war complex, that's how they make their living.
There's some people that want a continuous war because of the money.
People don't understand.
There's a lot of people in the Senate, in Congress, that are part of the war system.
Yes.
The building of war.
And that's a billion-dollar industry.
Very much so.
Yeah.
But I would believe that majority of people, they don't want war.
Why?
And then you have your military.
They're getting sent off to these different areas.
Look, if it's important enough to send off and for our men and women to die, then allow us to finish the job.
Allow us to do what needs to be done.
If it isn't, then why are we even getting involved in the first place?
Bishop, you are here today because God has laid a message on your heart.
What is that message?
That message is right now, I've never seen the church under so much attack where there are spiritual warfare on every hand.
And then our leaders, I have a concern for our leaders across the country.
A lot of our leaders are giving up because they're tired and they can't deal with it anymore.
And I felt like the Lord spoke with me, Pastor, concerning, you know, and I preached on this last night.
Some of the members here were at that service just right down the road.
How many churches do you minister to?
Do you know?
There are several.
There's many, many.
And so you've seen it all.
Well, a lot of it.
And just when you think you've seen it all, then something else pops up.
But you had to help pastors.
We always, what do we call your program?
Ministry from behind the scenes?
Yes, sir.
A pastor to pastors.
And you truly have been a pastor to pastors.
And the whole church needs to hear what you have to say.
I just believe that right now that pastors are under severe spiritual attacks.
And I feel like the Lord had given me a word.
You remember David at Ziglag at 1 Samuel chapter 30?
It's somewhat of familiar text for most of us.
But there's something in that text I think is befitting for right now.
David wasn't just fighting one war.
He was fighting three wars at one time.
Now, most of the preachers preach the text, you know, they hone in on he comes back to Ziglag and the Bible says that his house and the whole town has burned down and the enemy has come in and taken his wives and his sons and daughters.
Well, the first battle is they've just fought the Philistines.
So they are returning from a war, a battle, then only to come home.
And this is what I felt like, Mundo, that the Lord really laid on my heart.
What happens when your place of comfort becomes a place of conflict?
The king is in conflict now.
They've just come from a battle only to run into another battle, battle number two.
And then when you read on in the text, it says, David's own men spoke of stoning him.
These are the people that he raised up and the ones that's closest to him have now turned against him.
Now you got a war on the outside, but it's a whole different ball game when you have a war on the inside.
Now he's got a family war going on.
See, it's one thing to fight enemies on the outside of the house, but what happens when the fight comes on the inside?
And God sent me here today to tell you that relief is coming to all those pastors.
Don't give up.
Don't throw in the towel.
And you say, I wonder what else could happen.
Have you ever lived through a season where you thought, okay, it's peak now, only to discover something else pops up.
And you want to ask the question, not what in heaven is going on.
Yeah.
Y'all fill in the blanks.
Come on, somebody.
Think about that.
And so now David, I mean, he doesn't know where to turn because everywhere he turns, it's a fight.
He just come out of a battle.
So the Lord spoke to me and says, tell this people this day that you got to fight tired.
And there are pastors out there and leaders.
They're fighting, but they're tired.
Judges chapter 8, verse 4, Gideon and 300 men crossed the Jordan.
And the Bible says they are in faint.
They're tired, but they're still pursuing.
And God says, you got to fight when you're tired.
You can't throw in the towel.
You can't walk away from the pulpit.
The devil wants to run all of us from the church, but the devil is a liar.
We have to stand.
The church has to be powerful now.
It needs to stand up.
I'm glad you're telling me.
I mean, every member, you need to go back to church if you stop going to church.
You need to love your church members.
And that's why I keep preaching about forgiveness.
A church won't stand if it don't love one another.
You've got to forgive each other.
Do you hear me?
How many are hearing me at all?
Yes.
A couple are.
And then, Pastor, the story goes on, and it says, now David own men spake of stoning him.
Oh, boy.
Can't nobody hurt you like the one you love.
Can't nobody hurt you like the one that's closest to you.
These are David in-house people that have turned against him.
Okay?
And then David inquires of the Lord, what must I do?
And I'm going to get to the text here.
And this is where I believe the Lord sent me to share and release the word today.
And the Lord gives him the answers to his question.
He says, pursue, overtake, and recover all.
Well, the only problem is they don't know where to go.
The enemy's got their wives and children and all of their stuff, their herds and their cattle, but they don't know where to go.
But he finds a wounded Amalekite on the way.
And the Amalekite makes them swear that if you'll feed me and nurse me back to health, I'll tell you where your stuff is and where your children are.
That's why the Bible says, don't kill your enemies.
Pray for your enemies.
They may be the answer.
Come on now to your next deliverance.
Well, that didn't go over well.
Hello.
He says that God will prepare a table in the presence of your enemy.
And so this wounded Amalekite says, if you'll swear not to kill me, I'll tell you where they are.
And the Bible says that 600 men pursued them, but 200 fell by the brook Besore.
That's my word today to this church, to the body of Christ at large, Besor.
God says, I'm about to give you a Bisor moment.
And that's verses 9 and 10 in 1 Samuel chapter 30.
200 men fell, but the 400 men crossed the brook Besore.
And the word Basor means good news, and it also means refreshing.
I don't care what you've been going through, what you've been dealing with.
God says today we're declaring the spirit of Basor to hit this ministry and to hit all the ministries that's going through hell in high water.
It's a basore moment.
But notice this.
200 of them fell and they couldn't go no further.
They said, we're tired.
We've just come out of a battle.
We can't cross the brook.
But the 400 that crossed the brook, God bought refreshing to them.
But now it brings us to the point of forgiveness.
And I've never seen this in this text before.
They go and they take back all their possessions.
They get their wives and their children.
And the 400 men that went across the brook said to the 200 that have fallen, you can have your wives and children back, but you can't enjoy the plunder.
I mean, you're not going to be a recipient of the blessings.
And David says, oh, no, we don't work like this.
He says, even though they fell and they were weak, they're still a part of the family.
Come on, somebody.
And so I'm here to tell you, maybe things didn't work out the way that you wanted to.
Maybe you're in ministry and maybe you have fallen.
But I got good news for you.
If you've fallen, you can get back up again.
And you know what?
You're going to be a recipient of the same blessings of the other 400 men.
God says, don't leave them laying there because they are a part of the team.
Bishop, I wish everybody in the church world would grab hold of forgive because they're going to have happiness.
They're going to have joy.
They're going to be.
And I am concerned that Christians hold judges, you know, hold judgment against people.
I write a lot on leadership.
95% of my books are concerning leadership and building leaders and encouraging leaders because I'm a leader too.
But every now and then, the counselor needs to be canceled.
Every now and then, you know, the teacher has to be taught again and the teacher becomes a student.
And you may be a doctor and you may be a dentist, but I want you to hear me, Mr. Dennis.
You're going to have a toothache one day too.
Although you working on other people's mouths, sooner or later, you're going to have a toothache because it comes with the territory.
So it was like there was a shift.
The last book we had written was before this leadership book with Bishop Rogers was Scar Wars with all the scars, the scars of unforgiveness, the scars of rape and molestation, the scars of regret.
And the list goes on.
But then the Lord spoke to me several months ago about writing this book on unforgiveness because it's the Christian killer.
It's killing Christians today because they won't let go.
You have to let go so the healing can begin.
Bishop, I think you hit something that when you study the culture in the church right now.
Yes, sir.
And one of the things that is happening, and you see it, is it's not even rebellion that the congregants are doing, but I think congregants, the congregation is concerned about the leader as well.
Leadership Through Betrayal 00:15:55
Right?
And I love the analogy that you just used about a doctor needing a doctor one day.
Yes, sir.
And I think what's happened in the confusion and the hurt is when leaders go through something, believeers don't like to submit through the consequences that the rest of us in the crowd have to go through.
And I think that's the church and the people and the culture right now that I'm studying.
I'm looking at the whole picture is they feel betrayed and to trust the leader again.
And I love forgiveness and I love, we all have to have it.
We need it daily.
But the consequences that the culture in the church and the congregation in the church is asking for leaders to submit to, how do you deal with that?
Because it almost seems like sometimes the leader looks at it from, oh, you're being rebellious.
And it's not being rebellious.
It's being concerned because we want a healthy leader.
Right.
Right?
Because the church still needs a healthy leader.
I think that's an excellent question.
But here's the problem, Mundo.
If the doctor has a problem, he has to find another doctor.
That's it.
And he can't allow the patient to work on it.
That's it.
So let me ask you this question because I've seen it through 26 years being in leadership and ministry.
And this is why a lot of pastors, evangelists, bishops, name them, they get in trouble because they don't have no one to talk to.
They are the loneliest people.
And when I say pastors, I also want to say the pastor's wives.
Right?
The two of the most loneliest people.
So you understand.
Elders.
All of them.
All over.
Anytime you climb to the top, when you get to the top, that's a lonely place.
You can't just talk to anyone.
What's the saying goes?
Don't let anyone that's done nothing tell you how to do anything.
You know what I'm saying?
Exactly.
But that's what happens.
You get to the point where all these people are talking.
They've never done a thing.
And now they're trying to tell you things.
And they've never walked in your shoes.
So I want to get back to you.
William.
This is an excellent question.
And where we are is very important.
Yes.
And a lot of preachers have fallen.
And they haven't fallen.
They just committed a sin.
And why did Jesus die on the cross?
For all the sins that we've committed are all the ones we'll ever commit.
That's why he died on the cross.
Well, then why shouldn't we forgive preachers?
Why shouldn't we forgive deacons?
Why shouldn't we forgive people in the church?
You're really explaining my book right now.
You're putting a book out there before it's written.
Well, help me, right?
You write the book, and I'll give you the words that I want to put in here.
But I'll tell you, if we don't get this, we've missed the reason Jesus came to this earth.
Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins.
And he said that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
And then, Pastor, I think what needs to be mentioned also is that preachers are not perfect.
They're chosen by God.
If you look at the men and the women that God used in the Bible, that's why we go and pick them.
Look at David.
He was a mess.
David broke not one, two, but five commandments at one time.
I mean, David broke every law there is.
And what did God say about David?
He's a man after my own heart.
That's right.
Boy, we could write this book.
I think we're giving them all the information today.
I hope somebody can receive it.
Because a lot of people are going to hell because they won't forgive.
And that's stupid.
All you're saying is, God, you judge, and I love them.
I forgive them.
Amen.
Can you do that?
But Mundo had a great, great question because that's where people are right now.
I remember about six, seven years going into the doctor's office, and I was on my way out of town, spoke with him just briefly about something for my sinuses.
My sinuses were draining.
And I had started coughing.
And when I went in, Mundo, he was coughing more than I was.
And he says, Here, I'm going to give you what I'm taking.
And I said, Wow, thank you.
But listen to that.
He was able to be transparent with me because he had the same issue that I have.
As Darren said, when preachers go through it, we can't tell the people we're dealing with the same stuff that they do.
Or then they will quickly judge you.
See what I'm saying?
So, where do the giver go to get?
We're giving out, giving out, but where do we go to get what we need as men and women of God?
And so, when people want to bring up a sin from 20 years ago or 30 years ago, well, if that's the case, none of us could.
David said, if the Lord was to regard iniquity, none of us would stand.
What does that mean?
If God kept score on all of us, come on, all of us would be in trouble.
How would he have been in your place?
Oh, you guys can all answer this.
Why are we as preachers not able to forgive sometimes when we won't be forgiven if we don't forgive?
It's not fair, and we can't do it.
And I mean, I've told you a million times on this show, but I was in prison and I forgave everybody.
I had a whole page, and I would read it to God and say, I forgive them.
And I was reading the book, God Meant It for Good.
R.T. Kendall.
Yeah, R. T. Kendall.
And he said, You had to forgive from your heart.
Yes.
And I thought, well, boy, I don't know if I forgave from my heart or not.
But I went back and I prayed for him, and I did it from my heart.
I forgave them.
And even the ones that I know today.
Now, the two main ones that I forgave died.
I don't think that's what God usually does, but they both died.
And they had sowed some seeds that just really made a mess of things.
But I know this by the word of the living God, it says, and when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
Yes.
Say, leave your gift at the altar.
Go back and make it right with your brothers or your sisters.
And I don't know, I don't care if you preach across the country and around the world, there's someone that's struggling with forgiveness or had to forgive someone.
Let me ask you a question.
All of you that's in the congregation today, have you ever had to forgive someone?
Raise your hand.
Everyone in here, I was going to say I'm praying for liars at the end of the service, but everybody lifted their hand, okay?
You had to forgive.
Now, how many sitting in here had to be forgiven by someone?
It's not what they did to you, but what you did to them.
All the hands go up again because we have to live a life of forgiveness.
It's so important.
You know, I lay at night hearing from God and going through these scriptures.
And that's one of the reasons I'm back on television a little bit.
Vicar, let's me.
He's the new Jim Baker.
Yeah, you've been back for like six months, so I don't know how you keep saying you're barely coming on every show for the last six months.
It's not six months.
I think it has been.
About six weeks.
Ricky is my son.
And he's going to take my place someday.
That's funny.
But I'm still teaching him.
And he's got some, and he teaches me things.
And I love this boy.
What a blessing.
You got young blood coming right beside you.
And we need that.
We need the wisdom of the old, but the strength of the young.
But we need them both together.
I'll call you young men because you're strong.
You've overcome the wicked.
It took me years before I learned the power of total forgiveness.
That's what Bishop said.
Total forgiveness.
So here's another.
Luke 6: Do not judge.
Do you hear me?
Oh, yes.
And you will not be judged.
I like that.
Do not condemn and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
This is the Bible.
Amen.
Given it will be given to you.
A good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over will be poured onto your lap or the measure you use.
That means the measure of forgiveness as well.
We always use that about giving, but it's mainly talking about forgiveness.
That's exactly right.
If you could give the same measure, you're going to get.
Am I just preaching to the wind or something?
I'm telling you, I think this is the greatest message the church needs.
We need to know forgiveness.
You know, I've been getting ready to go to heaven for the last year.
And then, you know, the doctor gave me four weeks to live, or four days to live, actually.
And I'm still alive.
And I don't know why he don't take me because I've had dreams and visions and everything about heaven, and I really want to go there because it's a good place.
So don't worry about me.
Just worry about yourself.
Make sure you're ready to meet God.
Make sure you've forgiven everyone from your heart.
Amen.
Amen.
Do you understand me, Bishop?
Because nobody, I don't seem to get through to people anymore.
Well, I believe that people are listening, and I believe they're embracing the words that are coming out of your mouth because when you think about just the one scripture, you can't be forgiven unless you forgive, to me, that seals the deal right there.
You know, if you want it, then you've got to give it.
It's just that simple.
And then he says the same measure.
I mean, the area that you judge other people in will be the same area that you're going to be tempted in.
And that'll make you back up and not point the finger real quick and rush to judgment.
Because if the truth be told, we'll all do something that we shouldn't do or perhaps say things that we shouldn't say.
And we'll spend a lifetime asking for forgiveness.
I just said last night.
You know, there are people, you know, Peter, Jesus spoke of Peter and used him in many, many occasions, but oftentimes Peter would put his foot in his mouth.
So I just said to the people last night, we need to always wear peppermint socks.
Hello, somebody.
Because you may have to eat your own words.
But anyway, we're going to always live in a state of forgiveness.
We should, because it's called life.
Jesus said, many shall be offended.
You know, people will say things and do things that bring offense.
What do you got to do?
You got to forgive them.
Because if you don't, it eats at you, you know, like a cancer.
Boy, this show is going to be going in a few minutes.
Darren Parker's here with us, my security head.
He's here watching over me.
I want to ask you what you think about what's going on right now.
And I know you know the Bible, you study, you know what's going on in the world.
But what do you think Americans, if do they still need to prepare, even though Trump is in, do they still need to be ready?
Do you think perilous times are coming?
Yeah, I think that right now is the greatest time ever to start preparing.
This may be a reprieve.
This may be a breath of fresh air, and it feels like a burden been lifted off of our shoulders.
And people will be able to actually live and get things and live a little bit more comfortable life.
But this is the time that we need to prepare.
Just because it's easy, we shouldn't sit back and go, okay, everything's fine.
Let's just kick back and relax a little bit.
No, this is the time you need to be ready.
In the good times, you prepare.
Get everything ready.
Because when the bad times come, you're ready for it.
So this time we should be getting ready for the coming of the Lord.
Yeah.
Because we're in that day.
Amen.
Yes.
And I know everybody thinks it's going to be sugar and spice and everything nice.
But our enemies want to kill us.
I want to mention something that you guys are talking about because a lot of people are celebrating a victory and it's an amazing victory.
But at the same time, America is going through the greatest drought that the land has ever witnessed.
That means that the farmers are having a very difficult time getting what you need for this coming year.
And top of that, you got corporations like BlackRock that are centralizing the farmers and how they are going to farm.
At the very same time, we're dealing with what we're watching.
The world's dealing with this is that when war still takes on or keeps going on, that means that listen to this word.
Write this word down.
Anytime you hear the word centralized, that means that major corporations are involved, and that's going to make it very difficult for you to have food on your table.
Time To Prepare 00:06:05
Regardless if President Trump is going to fix the economy, which we all have faith in, and a lot of people voted on that issue.
But it doesn't take away from the idea that the time to prepare, it is now.
A few weeks ago, I was in front of over 2,000 entrepreneurs and leaders that didn't even realize that they could get prepared.
And I was trying to get this man to get me to help me go teach this thing because I could not believe, Bishop, how many people are not prepared.
I'm talking about they've never heard about food preparation.
They never heard about having water, having the child down.
You are spoiled because you watch this program all the time and you get tired of us talking about it.
But I'm telling you, the nation is experiencing right now while we're talking, the experts are watching the Cascadia because at any moment it will erupt and trigger a super volcano in Yellowstone.
At the very same time, we're watching the shortages of food or essential foods that by next year, they're not going to be at the store.
Yet, we have been crying.
We have been asking you to get prepared because the food industry right now, as we're talking about it, is changing, rapidly changing to the point where you said a few years ago, Dad, that there will come a time that we will get on this program, that we're not going to be able to offer any of the food or water or essential items that we have been talking about for the last 20 years.
Yet, the church, the world is not thinking about preparation.
We're riding on this wave and it's beautiful.
But it's time to get out of it and start getting your churches prepared because I want to tell you something.
FEMA has run out of funds.
FEMA doesn't have the capability to come and help you in a natural disaster.
At the very same time, Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 what the days are going to look like before he returns.
And if we are there biblically and prophetically, then the key is we are living in a moment that I love to call a Joseph moment, a time to prepare.
If you look, it's about, I think it's like 10% or less than 10% of people actually prepare.
About 10%.
Now think about that.
But here's here, you want to test it?
Wait until you hear ice storms coming or a big snowstorm coming and then go to the grocery store and see what happens.
You won't find anything.
So now if they were prepared, really?
That's why.
That's why it empties out so fast.
So don't think for one second or get comfortable thinking, oh, it'll be okay.
We'll make it.
No, go ahead and prepare yourself now.
And look, this ministry has some of the greatest products there are.
Numana, incredible.
And New Mana now have water, which could possibly last forever.
They guarantee it for 20 years.
But it doesn't get any bacteria into it.
Wow.
So it's something.
And I mean, this water, if you have enough of it stored away, it can save your life.
And you can get this by the case.
You can get it by the box.
By the truckload.
By the truckload.
But we have New Mana has a new goat bag.
You can go on a website and you can, I mean, see that big pile of, that's what was bottles of water in there.
And that's for a church.
The thing is, you have to realize why would we want to put ourselves in a situation that we make fun of?
Every single day you go on YouTube and they make fun of us all day long.
Why would we want to put ourselves through that only for one reason?
So you can have food one day.
And those same people are going to be knocking on our doors.
About a year or two years ago, they said Jim Baker wasn't crazy after all.
And I want to tell you something.
When you are in a time of need and you have to stand in line, wait for food, you're not going to think we're crazy.
But prophecy is being fulfilled that.
And at the very same time, God has given us this time to get prepared.
I believe that the finances are going to be released through this economy so you can get your house prepared.
You know what?
Do this.
Write this down.
JimBakershow.com and write this number down: 1-888-988-1588.
And take the bold step and start researching what types of food we have to offer.
Research what type of water we have.
Compare it to other places.
It doesn't matter where you shop it.
It's better if you shop it here with us because you're helping this ministry.
But I'm telling you, you're not going to find a lot of this products out there because for this ministry, all these affiliate programs are making it affordable for you because they love this ministry.
You know, you mentioned something a few moments ago about extreme drought on the night of the election when you know we phoned in and we Skyped in and I was waiting to come back.
Of course, the show was moving forward.
But I felt like the Lord gave me three things.
The last gentleman that y'all spoke to.
Michael Snyder.
Yes, he was saying there's some things coming.
Yes.
And I heard three words.
And those three words I was going to mention that night.
And I felt like the Holy Spirit dropped that in my spirit to share.
Because, you know, you got people say they're prophesying the day.
And, you know, everybody's a prophet today.
You know, you know what I'm talking about.
But I really believe that the Lord spoke these three words.
Terrible Things Ahead 00:03:01
Number one, war.
There's three W's.
Number two, weather.
And number three, water.
Wow.
So write that down.
War, weather, and water.
Those are things that, and you're saying it right now.
Bishop, I think before January 1st, my birthday is January 2nd.
But before the first of the year, we're going to have some terrible things happen in the whole world.
And I believe they're going to try to hurt America.
And I think we're not ought to rest back.
I believe there will be another assassination attempt on President Trump.
I know you don't like that, but that's the word that I've gotten.
They're desperate people.
There's evil people out there.
They don't want God to win.
You know, if they bomb Israel off the face of the earth, that would destroy the prophecies of the Bible.
Yeah.
And God's not going to let that happen.
That's right.
And so when we say, oh, don't wipe out the atomic warfare that Iran has.
Why would our president tell us not to bomb Iran when they got the Italian bomb?
Do you know what an Italian bomb does?
Have you ever studied it?
It wipes whole countries off the map.
Yeah, whole cities.
And Ricky, the people in Hiroshima, it said they all turned black.
Not, you know, like a black person, but I mean, they turned black, black, they burnt.
And it was awful.
Jesus.
And we don't want atomic bombs.
We don't want these things happening.
But our enemies are going to do anything.
And the people against Trump, honestly, listen to me.
They are willing to do anything to stop him.
They've tried to kill him twice.
And they'll keep on trying.
Pray for him.
Pray, He says, fight, fight, fight, fight.
I say, pray, pray, pray, pray too.
Amen.
And you need to be ready to meet Jesus.
God Loves Ark Seeds 00:02:16
You need to have preparation.
We have all kinds of food.
We have the chowdown people with meat.
Yeah.
Survival meat.
Which is a miracle.
It's all on our pet website.
You've got Ark seeds, Great Down, Chow Down, Numana, Lion Energy.
I mean, we got a plethora.
The Pharisees.
I don't even know about those seeds.
I was telling a lady this week about those seeds.
They are seeds that multiply.
Heirloom seeds.
Heirloom seeds.
They multiply.
And we have them at Bigatina, and there's thousands of them, everything you can think of.
And why not put one of those big cans of seeds in a cool place in your house and save them for that time when you need food?
Food grows in gardens and grows in farms.
And people don't understand it.
Kids don't understand it.
But be ready.
Forgive your neighbors.
Forgive your pastor.
Forgive your friends.
And let Jesus forgive you.
And if you forgive everyone else, you'll be forgiven.
That's what the Bible says.
