Smoke From the Pit
00:02:14
|
|
| Quickly, let's go to Revelation chapter 9. | |
| We're just going to look at one point in a review, and then we're going to move to our new chapter, chapter 10. | |
| We want to do as much as we can in chapter 10 in this lesson. | |
| And in chapter 9, as we read in the first verse, that the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from the heaven into the earth, and to him was given the keys of the bottomless, the infernal abyss, the bottomless pit. | |
| And then we begin to see all these things coming out, smoke coming out of the pit. | |
| We looked at some video and we realized, you know, these great volcanoes just belch out this smoke. | |
| The earth, I believe hell, is in the center of earth, the way it sounds, the reading of the Bible. | |
| And the Bible talks about a lake of fire. | |
| When you see a volcano erupt, literally, it is magma, which is melted rock, literally stone melting, and it's a lake, liquid fire. | |
| And we've learned that Yellowstone National Park, the science have just realized there's something happening there, and they call it a super volcano that could explode at any moment. | |
| They say, I've been studying it more from the research centers. | |
| And they say that when that volcano goes, it could turn the United States into a nuclear winner where literally the sky would be dark and plants and trees would not grow for up to two years. | |
| So the science are saying this. | |
| Scientists are saying this, not Jim Baker. | |
| This is what the scientists are saying. | |
| So Revelation isn't some wild book with crazy ideas. | |
| As I've gone through it and taken you piece by piece, I'm showing you the foundation of the reality of the book of Revelation. | |
| And it went on to say, and they came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power as the scorpion of the earth had power. | |
| And we went on and talked about these locusts and the grasshoppers and the plagues and these things. | |
|
Describing Apocalyptic Warfare
00:03:51
|
|
| And as we went along, we realized that as this thing goes deeper and deeper, and we read about these locusts who then are like horses. | |
| And they're big and they have faces like the face of men and they have these big teeth and they have breastplates of iron. | |
| Well, my God, what kind of locusts are these? | |
| And they make wings. | |
| The sound of their wings is like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. | |
| Well, you've got to remember, John's trying to describe in 2,000-year-agold language what was happening in warfare. | |
| I believe with all of my heart that the Spirit of the Living God is trying to warn us of warfare that is coming in the last days, and it's going to be demon-inspired warfare. | |
| It's going to be so evil. | |
| But God says that he's going to seal the Christians. | |
| God's people are sealed. | |
| And they can't sting us for some reason in this situation. | |
| So we're not going to go over this again. | |
| If you haven't studied chapter 9, be sure to get your tapes and study chapter 9, okay? | |
| And because a third of the part of the population will be killed in this terrible time, there will be this huge army of 200 million people. | |
| And I just, I'm going to put it on the screen. | |
| I just want to show you the Apache, the Apache, I should say, helicopter. | |
| And what if old John, he's 90 years old, saw this warfare and it just happened to be one of these, or this is the new modern warfare. | |
| What if he saw that? | |
| Look at those two eyes on either side of that thing. | |
| Look at that breastplate. | |
| And there's another picture. | |
| Windows are blue. | |
| And one of the here, one of the verses, it talks about that the breastplate of deep blue. | |
| Look at this again. | |
| I don't know if you have this particular picture or not. | |
| Look at that blue breastplate. | |
| Steel. | |
| And look at that. | |
| Look, they talk about a crown. | |
| Look at that thing on top. | |
| Does that look like it might be a crown? | |
| What if old John's trying to tell you what this thing looked like? | |
| I mean, this is a big grasshopper, isn't it? | |
| This is a big locust. | |
| And it's got fire in its tails. | |
| And if you'd see some of these pictures when they're firing, the fire is just shooting out of these things. | |
| So they look like great big locusts, big as horses, and they're firing fire out of their tails. | |
| Well, I'll tell you, the more I study this book of Revelation, the more I realize John was just seen today. | |
| John was just seeing these last days. | |
| And I'm telling you, I want to be in the kingdom of God. | |
| I don't want to be with the world. | |
| And people say, oh, Jim, you think we're going through some tribulation? | |
| Yeah, I believe it with all my heart, but I'm not a bit worried about it. | |
| Because God says, I'm going to take care of my own. | |
| He said it's going to be a great harvest. | |
| What if John saw that? | |
| How's he going to describe it when never seen a piece of metal before like this? | |
| Never seen airplanes before. | |
| And that warning, you know, he said, well, it sounds like a bunch of chariots running on the cobblestones and making a roaring noise. | |
| He tried to adapt it to the things that his people that he were writing to would understand. | |
| So here we are. | |
| I just wanted to bring you up today. | |
| Let's go to chapter 10. | |
|
Matthew 24 Revelations
00:14:36
|
|
| Oh, here we go. | |
| Oh, Jesus, help me. | |
| I got to pray again. | |
| Father, help me to unveil this chapter 10. | |
| I'm not worthy, God, to even touch this book. | |
| But through the blood of the Lamb, we have been made worthy. | |
| In Jesus' name. | |
| Amen. | |
| Did any of you ever read mystery stories when you were young? | |
| Oh, I did. | |
| I used to love Charlie Chan, old movies. | |
| I haven't seen them in years. | |
| I don't think anybody runs them anymore. | |
| They say they're racist now, so you can't have anything about Charlie Chan, I guess, anymore. | |
| But he always was looking for all those clues, you know. | |
| And by the end of that thing, he had all the clues and he put them all together. | |
| Well, I want to take you on the biggest Charlie Chan mystery hunt you've ever going to see. | |
| Come on now. | |
| Revelation chapter 10, verse 1. | |
| Stay with me. | |
| Keep your minds open. | |
| And I saw another or different, mighty, that means forcible in the Greek angel. | |
| And you all know that word angel is a very different word. | |
| You know, the Bible uses the same word when it describes John the Baptist. | |
| John the Baptist was not an angel, but the word that describes John as the messenger is the same word that's used here because the same word in the Greek for angel is messenger and pastor. | |
| So here we have a different mighty angel or mighty messenger or mighty pastor come down descending from heaven. | |
| Clothed, I'm sorry, with a cloud. | |
| And this means clothed means all around. | |
| All around. | |
| Some of you are taking notes. | |
| I got a hint. | |
| When I give you Greek, write it in your margins of your Bible if possible. | |
| Listen, why not write in your Bible? | |
| You read it all that. | |
| If it's a sin to write in your Bible, I'm going to hell then. | |
| Look at here. | |
| Look at this. | |
| Look at that. | |
| This Bible's falling apart because I've spent so much time in it. | |
| Write in it. | |
| Make it user-friendly. | |
| That's the term they use today. | |
| Okay, he sees, here's John, I see a different, forcible, mighty angel, mighty messenger coming down from heaven, clothed all around with a cloud. | |
| And it means cloudiness in the Greek. | |
| And a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as if it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. | |
| Now I want you to go into many verses you can, but because of time, I can't wait for you to turn there. | |
| Go to the book of Exodus, and we'll go quickly. | |
| I just want to go back there and let's look for clues. | |
| Who is this mighty angel? | |
| Who is this mighty messenger? | |
| Who is this mighty pastor? | |
| Let's look at the clues and we're going to find out by looking at the clues. | |
| The first clue we have here is clouds. | |
| Say cloud. | |
| Write cloud down, underlying cloud in your Bible. | |
| This is very important. | |
| This. | |
| We're going to find out who this is by the clues. | |
| The Bible is a mystery, and we've got to read it to understand it. | |
| The whole Bible. | |
| Exodus 13, 21. | |
| Exodus 13, 21, and says, And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them the way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, to go by day and night. | |
| I believe after much prayer, much study, I believe that Jesus Christ was the one who was in the cloud and in the fire leading the children of Israel. | |
| I believe it was no other than our Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| And it says the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud. | |
| Exodus 19, 9, just slip over there. | |
| And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I've come unto thee in a thick cloud. | |
| And that the people may hear when I speak with thee and believe thee forever. | |
| And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord. | |
| Here we have God coming to Moses in a what? | |
| Thick cloud. | |
| Exodus chapter 40, verse 38. | |
| And I'm just giving you some highlights. | |
| For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journey. | |
| Here's called the cloud of the Lord. | |
| Leviticus 16, 2. | |
| And you don't have to follow me because I'm going to have to go a little fast. | |
| If you're fast, turner fine, but you can just write these down or get the tapes. | |
| And the Lord spake unto Moses, speaking unto Aaron, thy brother, that he comes not at all times unto the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark, that he die not. | |
| For I, this is God saying, will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. | |
| The reason I like you to look at those scriptures is because you've been fed a lot of stuff from a lot of preachers that simply may be twisting of the Bible. | |
| And the reason I'm giving you a lot of scripture, because I'm telling you, I don't, I have not picked selected scriptures and just take one little verse here and one little verse here and try to make something out of it. | |
| I'm giving you a cross-section of the whole word of God to be able to base what I believe God revealed to me in prison. | |
| I want to be able to give you the full basis of the word of the living God. | |
| I had time in prison to do this. | |
| Numbers 11, 25. | |
| And the Lord came down in a cloud and spake unto him. | |
| Deuteronomy 31, 15. | |
| And the Lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of the cloud. | |
| 1 Kings 8, 11. | |
| The priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple. | |
| Filled the house of the Lord. | |
| Think of this. | |
| The cloud belongs to God. | |
| This is a sign of God. | |
| There's certain things in the Bible that show you God's presence. | |
| Every time we read about God, we see a cloud. | |
| Every time in the Old Testament, he appeared in the tabernacle in a cloud. | |
| He appeared in the wilderness in a cloud. | |
| He went up, Moses goes up to the mountain, and there's God in the cloud. | |
| Daniel 7:13, and I saw in the night vision, and behold, one like the Son of Man. | |
| Jesus appeared throughout the Old Testament all the time. | |
| Came with the clouds of heaven and came to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. | |
| Matthew 17, just go to the New Testament. | |
| I gave you some Old Testament. | |
| Matthew 17, verse 4, and then answered Peter and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here. | |
| If thou will, let us make three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elias. | |
| You're Elijah. | |
| I mean, Isaiah is actually Elias, but it means Isaiah. | |
| While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. | |
| And behold, a voice out of the cloud which said, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. | |
| Hear you him. | |
| Here we have again, his time, Jesus is standing there, and the Father comes in a cloud. | |
| Luke 21, 27. | |
| Luke 21, 27. | |
| And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. | |
| Acts chapter 1, verse 9. | |
| And when he had spoken these things while they beheld, he was taken up in a cloud, received him out of their sight. | |
| And while they looked steadfast toward heaven, as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel and said, Oh, you men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? | |
| This same Jesus, which was taken up into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you see him go. | |
| How did he go? | |
| He's coming back. | |
| How? | |
| Quickly, go to 1 Thessalonians 4:16. | |
| You say, boy, you're giving us too much scripture. | |
| No, I'm not. | |
| For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout. | |
| How's he coming? | |
| With a shout. | |
| Oh, there's a clue. | |
| Just remember that clue. | |
| With a voice of the archangel and with the trump, which means trumpet of God. | |
| And the dead in Christ shall rise first. | |
| Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them where? | |
| In the clouds. | |
| To meet the Lord in the air. | |
| So shall we ever be with the Lord. | |
| Hallelujah. | |
| Revelation 1:7. | |
| Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him in all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. | |
| Even so, amen. | |
| Revelation 14:14. | |
| And I looked and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud, one sat like under the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown in his hand, a sharp sickle. | |
| And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, thrust in the sickle and reap, for the time is come for it either reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe. | |
| And he that sat on the cloud thrust in the sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. | |
| Matthew 24, we have to, we'll try to end there with our cloud study. | |
| But we always, you know, we're tying Matthew 24, if you haven't been here before, with Revelation. | |
| Because Matthew 24 is the chapter where Jesus was asked, what will be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world? | |
| So we're just tying to that, and then we're bringing Daniel and all the other boys in on it too, because they all have a piece of the puzzle. | |
| Matthew 24, 29. | |
| Immediately after, when is after? | |
| It's after. | |
| Something else happened and after. | |
| Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened. | |
| Are you there? | |
| Go to Matthew 24, 29. | |
| You got to read it because you don't believe me. | |
| Nobody ever preaches on the sun being darkened. | |
| You all stop there in your churches. | |
| You pastors, you never read that. | |
| You want a happy church. | |
| You don't want to scare any of your people away. | |
| So we only say in the last days, God's going to pour his whole spirit upon all flesh. | |
| Hallelujah. | |
| And your women are going to prophesy and handmaidens are going to get carried away. | |
| And oh, hallelujah. | |
| But then it says the next verse in the sun and the moon's going to be darkened. | |
| Oh, don't read that. | |
| It's not happy, church, if you read that stuff. | |
| Let's get real. | |
| Let's get real. | |
| Bad things happen. | |
| And you better understand why. | |
| 9/11s happen. | |
| Beautiful people like Sandra die. | |
| You don't understand it. | |
| You better be in the word because you can be shattered by life if you don't have the foundation of the word of the living God. | |
| Amen. | |
| I'm supposed to not be preaching. | |
| I'm just teaching. | |
| So tell me to calm down, honey. | |
| Just pull my shirt tail. | |
| Because my wife, she says, you get to preaching too hard here, honey. | |
| Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven. | |
| And the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. | |
| And then, is that what it says? | |
| And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn. | |
| And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. | |
| And he shall send his angels with a great sound of what? | |
| A trumpet. | |
| I'm reading King James, too. | |
| And they shall gather together his elect from the four winds or the four quarters of the earth from one end of heaven or one end of the sky in the Greek. | |
| It's heaven sky. | |
| From one end of the sky to the other. | |
| What is this? | |
| This is the rapture. | |
| I mean, you got to twist the scriptures and have so many ups and comings and downs. | |
| And you got God and the Lord. | |
| I mean, they're just moving up and down all the time to try to figure out how to get us out of tribulation. | |
| There is no basis for pre-tribulation rapture in the Bible, only from Schofield Bibles in his notes. | |
| I was in prison when I started studying this thing, and I said, send me all the books on Revelation. | |
| We can get in, and I'd find every book I could. | |
| And you know what? | |
| The more I studied pre-tribulation rapture, all they would is they were quoting each other. | |
| All these great theologians were quoting each other. | |
| They were quoting Schofield. | |
| They were quoting the Catholics and the Protestants and everybody they could quote. | |
| And a few modern guys, my dear friends, have gotten together to have, they got a club. | |
| They do. | |
| They have a pre-tribulation rapture club, the boys that teach it to try to protect the pre-tribulation theory from rebels like Jim Baker. | |
| Why am I always rebelling? | |
| Why am I always significant? | |
| I don't know. | |
| I don't understand this. | |
| I'm just trying to teach the word of God. | |
| And listen, if I'm wrong, I'll admit it. | |
| I was wrong again. | |
| But I'll tell you what. | |
| If I'm right, you better know what I'm teaching. | |
| Because God spoke to my heart that people in religion, people have followed Christ for the goodies. | |
| He said, when the stock market crashes and the finances are gone and this world's in a holocaust, that religious people will blow their brains out just like the world because they've fallen in love with money and they've made money their God. | |
| And if your money is your God, your God's going to die. | |
| Money will die. | |
| Look at the trillions lost after 9-11. | |
| 9-11 is a little mini picture of what the last days is going to be. | |
|
God's Cloudy Covenant
00:06:24
|
|
| God's just trying to warn us. | |
| That's all. | |
| So God is identified with clouds. | |
| Would you agree with me? | |
| I looked at every cloud in the Bible. | |
| You ought to go to prison sometime. | |
| It's just really good for you. | |
| I'm sorry. | |
| It's really good for you. | |
| You got time to do stuff you never do. | |
| You got time to study the Bible. | |
| That's why I've studied at home, and my wife lets me. | |
| You've got to admit, that's a good woman who'll let you study like I do. | |
| Because sometimes I'm at that computer for 16 hours at a time. | |
| Ooh. | |
| You get seditis, seditis, or whatever, sitting that long. | |
| The cloud or the clouds is mentioned in the Bible 156 times. | |
| The cloud is identified with God Almighty. | |
| Okay, the second clue of our study. | |
| And a rainbow was upon his head. | |
| Say rainbow. | |
| Let's write rainbow down on our little list there. | |
| If you are marking your Bible underline rainbow, look at Genesis 9, 13. | |
| Genesis 9, 13. | |
| Here's what it says. | |
| I do set my bow or rainbow in the cloud. | |
| This is God. | |
| Who belongs to the rainbow? | |
| I, God, set my rainbow in the cloud. | |
| And it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. | |
| Not new age. | |
| My father got so upset one time because I had a rainbow on something. | |
| And my dad said, oh, that's new age, Jim. | |
| I said, Daddy, call him daddy. | |
| Daddy, that's not new age. | |
| That's God's rainbow. | |
| They steal it. | |
| Don't give up stuff because cults and people steal it from God's kingdom. | |
| I believe drugs is just totally outright counterfeit of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit. | |
| I believe the counterfeit baptism of the Holy Spirit is the drug experience. | |
| I'm not going to throw out the Holy Spirit just because somebody's misused it and has a counterfeit. | |
| Jerry, if I gave you, Jerry, here I come to you, Jerry. | |
| Johnny Lee Cook, forgive me, Johnny. | |
| Just beat me up. | |
| If I gave you a stack of $100 bills this high, okay? | |
| Would you like that, first of all? | |
| You accept that? | |
| What if one of them was a counterfeit? | |
| How hard would I have to talk to you to get you to throw out all the stack of $100 bills just because there was one bad one in it? | |
| Would you throw them all out? | |
| No, man. | |
| Well, how come we throw out the things of God because somebody misused them? | |
| How come we throw out prophecy because there's been false prophets? | |
| How come we throw out tongues because somebody's misused it? | |
| How come we throw out all the gifts of the Spirit because we say, oh, well, those crazy people do that? | |
| People, we must have the full power and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit functioning for the last days. | |
| So he says, I set my bow in the cloud, that it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. | |
| And it shall come to pass when I bring a cloud over the earth that the bow, the rainbow, shall be seen in the cloud. | |
| And he talks about the rainbow here. | |
| There's a little bit more there, but it's Genesis 9, verses 13 through 16. | |
| Go to Ezekiel chapter 1, verse 26. | |
| And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. | |
| And upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above it. | |
| And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire around about and within, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as if it were the appearance of fire, and it had the brightness around about it. | |
| Verse 28. | |
| As the appearance of the bow, the Old Testament calls it bow instead of rainbow, but it's the bow in the sky. | |
| The appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness around about. | |
| This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. | |
| And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake. | |
| The rainbow belongs to God. | |
| The rainbow is even over the throne of heaven. | |
| And in Genesis, God says it's my rainbow. | |
| Revelation 4:2. | |
| And immediately I was in the spirit, and beheld a throne was set in heaven. | |
| One sat on the throne. | |
| And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardon stone. | |
| And there was a rainbow round about the throne. | |
| That's Revelation 4:3. | |
| Write that down. | |
| It says, There was a rainbow around about the throne in sight, like unto an emerald. | |
| The rainbow belongs to God, people. | |
| No one else in the Bible. | |
| Okay? | |
| Let's go back to Revelation 10, verse 1. | |
| Read it again. | |
| And I saw a different, another mighty, forcible angel, messenger, pastor come down from heaven, clothed round about with a cloud, with cloudiness, and a rainbow was upon his head. | |
| And his face was as it were the sun. | |
| S-U-N. | |
| Clue number three: his face was as it were the sun. | |
| I hope I'm not boring you. | |
| This is important stuff. | |
| This is how you learn truth. | |
| Man shall not live by bread alone, but by what? | |
|
Son Of God's Flame
00:07:38
|
|
| Every word. | |
| Every word that proceeded. | |
| That's why we have false doctrine today. | |
| We have all these slick preachers pulling scriptures, little pieces here and a little piece there, and make the Bible say stuff it doesn't say. | |
| There's lyn devils in some of our pulpits today, literally preaching deception, telling people that Jesus was rich, telling people things that are simply contrary to the living word of the living God, teaching us to be arrogant when Jesus said, I made of myself even no reputation. | |
| So clue number three, his face was this it were the sun. | |
| Psalms 84, 11. | |
| For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. | |
| For the Lord will give grace and glory. | |
| No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. | |
| The Lord God is a son. | |
| Isaiah chapter 60, verse 19. | |
| The sun shall be no more. | |
| Here we are in the Old Testament hearing about the Lord, hearing about the last days. | |
| For the sun shall no more thy light by day be no more, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee. | |
| But the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light and thy God thy glory. | |
| The sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself. | |
| For the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, for the days of thy mourning shall be ended. | |
| Malachi 4, 2. | |
| But unto you that fear my name shall the sun, not S-O-N, S-U-N, the Son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings, and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stalls. | |
| Daniel 10, 6. | |
| His body was also like the gem. | |
| If somebody knows that phone is ringing, it may be in my briefcase. | |
| His body also was like the gem. | |
| Perhaps it says a topaz. | |
| And his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and feet like in a color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. | |
| Go to Matthew 17, verse 1. | |
| And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John, his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain, and was transfigured before them, and his face did shine as the sun. | |
| And his raiment was white as the light. | |
| Acts 22, verse 6, this whole story here. | |
| And it came to pass that as I made my journey and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light around about me. | |
| And I fell unto the ground and heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, this is Paul before he became Paul. | |
| This is when he was Saul, saying, Saul, Saul, why persecuteth thou me? | |
| And I answered, Who art thou, O Lord? | |
| And he answered and said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth. | |
| Whose face is bright enough to make him fall to the ground with blindness? | |
| Jesus. | |
| It goes on to say, and they that were with me saw indeed the light and were afraid. | |
| And down in verse 11, he says, when I could not see for the glory of that light, the light of Jesus. | |
| Revelation 1, 16. | |
| And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and his countenance was as the sun shineth in its strength. | |
| This is Jesus. | |
| We already studied this chapter 1. | |
| You that were with me know that. | |
| We've talked about this. | |
| This is Jesus as he walked there among the candlesticks. | |
| Revelation 21, 23. | |
| And the city had no need of sun, neither the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb, Jesus, is the light thereof. | |
| Wow. | |
| There's got to be a God. | |
| Because I want to tell you, if the sun's not shining and the moon's not shining, this whole earth's in trouble. | |
| But Jesus is taken over. | |
| Revelation 22, 5, and there shall be no night there. | |
| They need no candle, neither light of the sun. | |
| For the Lord giveth them light, and they shall reign forever and forever. | |
| Jesus is brighter than the sun. | |
| Do you believe that? | |
| I don't have to give you the rest of the scriptures, do I? | |
| I'll give you enough. | |
| I just want to, we're on a mystery hunt. | |
| We're solving a mystery. | |
| God is light, and in him is no darkness. | |
| Is that not true? | |
| God is light. | |
| Every person I know that had an after-death experience that went to heaven saw what? | |
| The light. | |
| Books out, transformed by the light. | |
| I read book after book in prison about the light. | |
| I wanted to find out more about all these experiences, and it's quite fascinating. | |
| Light is in the Bible 272 times. | |
| Let's go back to Revelation 10, 1 again. | |
| And I saw another mighty, forcible angel, mighty angel, messenger, pastor come down from heaven, from the sky, clothed all around with a cloud, and a rainbow was on his head, and his face was as if it were the sun, and his feet a pillar of fire. | |
| Clue number four, his feet as a pillar, as a pillar of fire. | |
| Exodus 13, 21. | |
| And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud to lead them in the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light to go by day and night. | |
| Exodus 13, 21. | |
| Daniel 10, 6. | |
| And his body was also like the gem, and his face is the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like to the color of polished brass, which was actually burned in the furnace. | |
| And the voice of his words were like the voice of a multitude. | |
| What happens when the sun hits polished brass? | |
| It glows like fire. | |
| Here's Jesus in Revelation 1:15. | |
| And his feet, like unto fine brass, and Jesus' feet, like unto fine brass, as if it were burned in a furnace. | |
| Fine brass is highly polished, just beautiful. | |
| And his voice is the sound of many waters. | |
| Revelation 2:18, and unto the angel of the church in Thyreata, Tyra, write, These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass, reflecting in the light of his countenance. | |
| This person that John sees coming down from heaven, I believe with all of my heart in this vision is no other one but the Son of God, Jesus Christ. | |
|
Revelation Through Radio
00:15:51
|
|
| It has to be him. | |
| When God was speaking this to me, there was Revelation, and God was dealing with me about it. | |
| And I turned on the radio, and Pastor David Jeremiah was reading this verse. | |
| I mean, what's the odds of turning on a radio? | |
| Bam. | |
| And here's this guy reading Revelation 10, 1. | |
| And he reads it out, and it's just like God is speaking to me through the radio, and he says, and this can be no other person but Jesus Christ. | |
| I thought, oh, well, God, I'll take that confirmation. | |
| Let's read on. | |
| Revelation 10, 2. | |
| And he had in his hand a little scroll, or it says book in the King James. | |
| They didn't have books back then. | |
| John would have saw a scroll. | |
| And he had in his hand a little scroll, a little book, open. | |
| And he set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot on the earth. | |
| Clue number five. | |
| First of all, who was the only one worthy to open up the scrolls? | |
| The Lamb. | |
| Who's the Lamb? | |
| That's Revelation chapter 5, verse 1 through 5. | |
| And I saw on the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside seal with seven seals. | |
| And he said, No man in heaven and nor in earth, nor under the earth was able to open the book, neither look thereon. | |
| And I wept much because no man was found worthy to open the read the book, neither to look thereon. | |
| And one of the elders said to me, Weep not. | |
| Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and to loose the seven seals thereof. | |
| I believe that the one holding this little book is Jesus Christ. | |
| I believe it's a vision. | |
| It's not total reality because, you know, we see Jesus with his foot on the land and in the ocean. | |
| We just see this, and I believe God is giving John the picture of the soon coming Jesus. | |
| He's no longer the little baby in the manger. | |
| He is the one in control of the earth, of the universe. | |
| He is the coming king. | |
| And so let's go to clue number six. | |
| He set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot on the earth. | |
| Only Jesus and God the Father have total dominion. | |
| There's no angel going to have dominion. | |
| Matthew 28:18, what does it say? | |
| Some of you know it. | |
| And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. | |
| This is a symbol. | |
| This is a vision of the power of Jesus Christ, the all-powerful one. | |
| And I believe this is a symbol to show us that all, all, say all. | |
| I love that word all. | |
| No way out. | |
| It's just all. | |
| All power is given unto Jesus in heaven and earth. | |
| Daniel 7, 13, it says, I saw in the night vision, behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the ancient of days. | |
| And they brought him near before him. | |
| And there was given him what? | |
| Dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people, nations, all people, all nations, all languages should serve him. | |
| His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed. | |
| He is the powerful one. | |
| Ephesians 1:20, which he wrought in Christ when he, God, raised him from the dead. | |
| He sat him at his own right hand in heavenly places. | |
| Far above what? | |
| All principalities, all power, all might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. | |
| And as what? | |
| And has put all things, say all again. | |
| Put all things under his feet. | |
| This is Jesus. | |
| He is the one that has everything under his feet and given him to be the head over all things to the church. | |
| We could have a lot better church and we'd understand that. | |
| Which is his body, we, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. | |
| All right, clue number seven: a lion roareth. | |
| A lion roareth. | |
| Revelation 10, 3, and they cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth. | |
| And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. | |
| Ooh, look at Matthew 2, 6. | |
| Matthew 2, 6. | |
| And thou, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah, for out of thee shall come a governor that shall rule my people Israel. | |
| Jesus comes from the tribe of Judah, the lion of Judah. | |
| Hebrews 7, 14. | |
| For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. | |
| Revelation 5, 5. | |
| And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not. | |
| We just read it. | |
| Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and to loose the seven seals thereof. | |
| Who is the lion of Judah? | |
| Jesus. | |
| He roars like a lion coming. | |
| I see all these clues. | |
| I found this all by myself. | |
| I had to shout to myself in prison. | |
| I wish some of you could get excited. | |
| This is the word of God. | |
| I'm taking you on a trail down through this whole thing to show you the pieces. | |
| The whole word. | |
| 1 Thessalonians 4, 16. | |
| For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with what? | |
| With a shout. | |
| With the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. | |
| That's the rapture, people. | |
| That's what he keeps saying takes place after tribulation. | |
| I don't think we're going through the wrath. | |
| We're going through tribulation. | |
| I'm going to get you out next week. | |
| We start the rapture chapter. | |
| If I can get through 10, the rapture chapter is coming up. | |
| We see a lot of stuff, but you ain't seen nothing yet. | |
| Revelation 10, 4. | |
| Let's go back. | |
| And when the seven thunders had uttered their voice, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered and write them not. | |
| John, hear something. | |
| He reads this message in this little scroll. | |
| And he said, told, don't tell anybody. | |
| Oh, I'm going to tell you what I think it is. | |
| Oh, I don't know, but I'm going to tell you because I can't tell you exactly what it is, but I can tell you what I think it is, but I can't tell you what it is because only God knows what it is. | |
| But I can tell you what I think it's going to be. | |
| I don't make any sense here. | |
| The seven thunders. | |
| Exodus 19, 16. | |
| Thunder belongs to God, folks. | |
| Thunder belongs to God. | |
| On the morning of the third day was thunder and lightning with a thick cloud over the mountains, a very loud trumpet blast. | |
| Everyone in the camp trembled. | |
| Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. | |
| Here we got thunder and lightning and clouds and a trumpet blast way back in the book of Exodus. | |
| A loud trumpet blast. | |
| Thunder, lightning, clouds. | |
| 1 Samuel 2:10, the adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces out of heaven. | |
| Shall he thunder upon them? | |
| 1 Samuel 7, 10. | |
| And as Sam was offering up the burnt offerings, the Philistines drew near to battle against the Lord. | |
| But the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day before the Philistines and discomforted them, and they were smitten before Israel. | |
| Job 26, 14, lo, these are parts of his way, but how little a portion is heard of him. | |
| But the thunder of his power, who can understand? | |
| Job 40, verse 9, hast thou an arm like God, or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? | |
| Psalm 77, 18, the voice of thy thunder was in heaven. | |
| The lightning lightened the world, and the earth trembled and shook. | |
| Psalms 81, 7, thou callest in trouble and deliver thee. | |
| I answer thee in the secret place of thunder. | |
| Psalms 104, 7, as at thy rebuke they fled as the voice of thy thunder. | |
| I looked up every one of these verses in prison without a computer. | |
| Thank God for computers. | |
| Isaiah 29, 6, thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, with earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire. | |
| As we've studied this, we learned these are things God's saying, I'm going to do in the last days. | |
| Revelation 6:1 and I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, I heard as it were the noise of thunder. | |
| Revelation 14, 2. | |
| And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters, as the voice of great thunder. | |
| What are these seven voices of thunders? | |
| Revelation 10, verse 3 and 4. | |
| And I cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth. | |
| And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth. | |
| And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. | |
| And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders utter and write them not. | |
| I don't really want to take a side trip right now, but I want you to just show you some things. | |
| Go to the book of Psalms chapter 29 quickly. | |
| I just want to show you the seven thunders, it says, uttered the voice or their voices. | |
| I want to show you where there's seven voices of God. | |
| Seven voices of God. | |
| Psalms 29. | |
| See, if you study, you're going to find this Bible. | |
| It's all connected. | |
| The interpretation of the Bible is by the Bible itself. | |
| I like to teach in the college once in a while, just teach some of these things. | |
| Because the greatest Bible interpretation is the Bible itself. | |
| It just. | |
| Psalms 29, 1, give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. | |
| Give unto the Lord the glory due unto him. | |
| Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. | |
| Verse 3, you can put in Mark. | |
| Go 1, 2, 3 in your Bible. | |
| I'm going to give you the seven voices of God. | |
| Number one, verse 3, the voice of the Lord. | |
| There's number one. | |
| There's seven of them right here. | |
| The voice of the Lord, where? Is upon the waters. | |
| The glory of God thundereth. | |
| The Lord is upon many waters. | |
| The voice of the Lord is upon the waters. | |
| That means the water always means people, usually in any vision or dream in the Bible. | |
| But the voice of the Lord is upon the people, upon the world, upon the oceans there. | |
| The whole wide world, the voice of the Lord, the voice of the Lord thunderest to the world. | |
| Number two, verse four here, the voice of the Lord is powerful. | |
| The voice of the Lord is full of majesty or grand, overpowering power. | |
| The voice of the Lord is powerful. | |
| It means the voice of the Lord works wonders. | |
| If you look that up in the Hebrew number four, voice of the Lord is verse 5. | |
| The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars. | |
| Yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. | |
| And you know, the cedars were the most lofty, proud trees in the Bible. | |
| And I believe that this is just a word of the voice of God breaks the humble. | |
| The proudest tree can be struck by lightning. | |
| But I believe spiritually it means the lofty, proud will be brought down. | |
| He maketh them also to skip like a calf. | |
| Lebanon and Sarion like a young unicorn. | |
| Oh, every, I've studied so much that I don't want to go there. | |
| I don't want to take us too far off here. | |
| But, you know, some believe that it's that voice of God actually causes them to give birth, you know. | |
| And others feel like it skipped, you know, like causes an earthquake. | |
| But let's not go there any deeper. | |
| The voice of the Lord, number five, divideth the flame of fire. | |
| It means it cuts, it hews, it literally cuts stone. | |
| If you study that in the Hebrew, the voice of the Lord, like his finger on the rock in the Ten Commandments and the big stones, his finger can cut right out the stone. | |
| But it says, the voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. | |
| That means to cut, to hew, and cut stone. | |
| Then, number six, voice of the Lord in verse 8, the voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness. | |
| The Lord shaketh the wilderness of Cadish. | |
| The spies came from this place. | |
| The Israelites were literally brought back to Cadish. | |
| They were forced back there several times. | |
| And it was setback time for the Jews. | |
| And the spies went out from there to spy upon God's people. | |
| And I believe what God is saying here, the voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness, and the Lord takes care of your setbacks. | |
| The Lord God will restore everything that has set you back. | |
| Well, then the voice of the Lord, number seven in verse nine, the voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calf and discovereth the forest. | |
|
Lord Sitteth Upon the Flood
00:01:43
|
|
| And in his temple doth everyone speak of his glory. | |
| So the voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calf. | |
| To be in pain, to fear, and discovereth or uncovers, bears, strips off everything that covers the trees. | |
| See, it says, the voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calf and discovereth the forest, strips it bare, like lightning would to a tree. | |
| And in his temple, in all the world, it actually means in the Hebrews, it's not a church, it means the whole world is his temple. | |
| And in his temple doth everyone speak of his glory. | |
| The Lord sitteth upon the flood. | |
| Yea, the Lord sitteth king forever. | |
| The Lord will give strength unto his people. | |
| The Lord will bless his people with peace. | |
| But there's seven voices of the Lord. | |
| I just wanted to share just a side point there of these voices, that thunder that we've read about in the seven thunders here in heaven. | |
| Well, they didn't just appear here in Revelation. | |
| We hear about the seven voices of God even back in the Psalms. | |
| So let's go back to Revelation 10, 3. | |
| And he cried with a loud voice as when a lion roareth. | |
| And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. | |
|
Mystery of God Finished
00:07:26
|
|
| And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered and write them not. | |
| I believe that the voice of God uttered. | |
| God has not let us know what the seven thunders said. | |
| So, you know, my first temptation is just not to even work on it anymore. | |
| So it must be information that is yet to come. | |
| Look at verse 5. | |
| Revelation 10, 5. | |
| And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven to Jesus and swore by him that liveth forever and ever who created heaven and the things that are therein and the earth and the things that are therein are and the sea and the things which are therein that there should be time no longer. | |
| What is happening here? | |
| This person that John has seen is declaring that time should be no longer. | |
| Don't tell me some angel is going to have the power to declare that. | |
| Can you hear me? | |
| Only God could say time is up. | |
| Only God can give that message. | |
| Could this little book be the message of God given to his son that the end of the gospel is about to take place? | |
| Could it be in that little book is the minute, the hour, and the day that the gospel will be fulfilled and that he is to come back. | |
| Turn to Mark 13, 32. | |
| Jesus doesn't even know when he is coming back. | |
| Did you know that? | |
| That's what the Bible says. | |
| I'm just giving you the Bible. | |
| So Jesus has that information and this vision that John's seeing probably saw that information, but Jesus said, no, seal it. | |
| You can't tell anybody the day because it was in a vision. | |
| How could Jesus not know he knows everything? | |
| I don't understand it. | |
| But he can block it out of his mind. | |
| Jesus is going about doing his father's business and bidding right now. | |
| And God the Father is going to say go. | |
| And when God's the Father says go, Jesus is going out and meeting us in the air. | |
| Mark 13, 32, very important. | |
| But of that day and that hour knoweth no man. | |
| No, not the angels which are in heaven. | |
| Neither the Son, but the Father. | |
| Here we see Jesus saying, time is up. | |
| Time should be no longer. | |
| We're coming to the rapture, folks. | |
| Revelation 10:7. | |
| But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, the seventh messenger, when he shall begin to sound, that in the Greek is trumpet. | |
| Some of your versions have trumpet, and you have a better translation, probably. | |
| But in the days of the voice of the seven angels, angel, when he shall begin to trumpet, to sound a blast, the mystery of God should be finished. | |
| This is it. | |
| The final trumpet. | |
| When is he coming back? | |
| At the final trumpet. | |
| As he hath declared, to announce good news, it means, especially the gospel. | |
| That's what it means in the Greek. | |
| That the mystery of God should be finished. | |
| As he has declared, that word he hath declared means to announce good news, especially the gospel to his servants, the prophets. | |
| The rapture is about to take place. | |
| Turn to 1 Corinthians 15:51. | |
| Quick, quick. | |
| I'm running out of time. | |
| I'm not going to be able to finish this. | |
| Listen. | |
| I tell you a mystery. | |
| 1 Corinthians 15, verse 51. | |
| I tell you a mystery. | |
| Here's the mystery now. | |
| You've got to understand what the mystery is to understand why the mystery is completed here. | |
| The mystery of God is finished in this verse we just read. | |
| I'll tell you a mystery. | |
| We shouldn't all sleep, but we'll all be changed in a flash, in the twinkle of an eye, at the last trumpet. | |
| Oh, that stuff's all by accident. | |
| We just can figure it out. | |
| We can just ignore it. | |
| We just, oh, why should we read the whole Bible? | |
| Just figure it out so we can escape and get out of here and call God a liar. | |
| He's coming at the final trumpet. | |
| Why don't we just find the final trumpet and find out when the rapture takes place? | |
| Why don't we just believe the Bible instead of twisting everything by our own absolute insanity? | |
| You know why we believe pre-tribulation raptures? | |
| Because we've been teaching it and teaching it, and we're too proud to admit that we were wrong. | |
| But I want to tell you, I was wrong. | |
| For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. | |
| What is this ministry that is finished? | |
| Mark 4, 11 says, the mystery of the kingdom of God. | |
| Romans 11, 25 said, he doesn't want us to be ignorant of this mystery. | |
| Romans 16, 25 also says, the revelation of the mystery. | |
| 1 Corinthians 2, 7, but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. | |
| 1 Corinthians 15, 51, behold, I show you a mystery. | |
| Ephesians 1, 9, having made known unto us the mystery of his will. | |
| Ephesians 3, 3, how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, the knowledge of the mystery of Christ. | |
| Ephesians 5, 32, this is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ in the church. | |
| Ephesians 6, 19, here it is, here it is. | |
| And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel. | |
| The gospel is a mystery to the unsaved. | |
| It's a mystery to the world. | |
| And this mystery is what Revelation 10 is talking about right here. | |
| And I'm going to have to close next week, but I'm telling you, this mystery says here, Revelation 10, 7, but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to trumpet, the mystery of God should be finished. | |
| What will be finished? | |
| The gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| The rapture is about to take place. | |
| The gospel is about to come to an end. | |
| The coming that we've all waited for is about to take place. | |
| The king is about to break the heavens open. | |
| And the dead in Christ are about to rise. | |
| And those that are alive are about to meet him in the air. | |
| This is the truth of the word of the living God. | |
| Amen. | |
| Father be with us. | |
| Bless this word, oh God. | |
| Oh, Father, help not one person to go to hell that's under the sound of my voice, whether it be on television or tape or here in this room, God. | |
