Hey, you know what?
I was praying this morning, and I want to encourage you with a good word this morning.
Life will have some trials and it will have some tribulations, but friend, we have a firm foundation that is Jesus Christ.
We're looking at the news.
It's very, very easy to get discouraged when you're watching the news, friend.
I know our audience, we have God-fearing, family-loving, and America-supporting partners, and I love that.
But you know, you guys get into the news, you are studying the word of God, and it can be discouraging sometimes when we turn on the news and see, man, the world is in such turmoil.
But, friends, Matthew 24 said this exactly would be happening before the Lord's return.
So, friend, look up.
Why?
Because our redemption draws near.
Friend, this is a time that we are to be loving and to be forgiving one another.
I keep saying it, and I know I sound like a broken record, but I will continue to say it.
Friends, one of our secret weapons as believers is forgiveness.
The fact that we can forgive.
No other religion in the world does what Christianity does by saying, you know what?
If you want to be forgiven, you must forgive.
Friends, we have a video from your dear beloved pastor, your friend, Pastor Jim Baker.
He is the reason we are all here.
He had this vision and he is still fighting to carry it through.
We have a message we found from him, and I thought, oh my goodness, we have to play this on the show.
This was such a good message.
If you heard it the first time, I know it's going to touch you again this time.

And I want you to turn with me to Matthew chapter 16.
Go to verse 18, okay?
Verse 18.
Do you have your Bibles with you?
And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter upon this rock, I will build my church.
And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Say amen.
And he goes on to say, this is from God Almighty, and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
And whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.
And whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
This is what the power he has given to the church.
The key to survival is the church.
What's happening?
The Bible says in the last days there will be a falling away.
But the church is the only rock, our only firm foundation in these last days.
You must be in the church.
Amen.
Ephesians 5, 29 says, For no man yet ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourished it and cherished it, even as the Lord cherished the church.
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Lord, you're like this.
For this cause, shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife.
And they shall be one flesh.
Now, this is about marriage, but God's talking about the church.
Then he tells the church is like marriage.
And yet we have mock marriage in America today.
One of the reason damage is coming and destruction is coming to America is because we have taken a stand against God ordained marriage.
The scripture goes on to say, this is a great mystery.
But I speak concerning Christ and the church.
And people, if you're not a part of the body of Christ, I believe great, great tribulations coming.
There's going to be great destruction, great volcanoes, great earthquakes.
And so we must love one another in the church.
If you're going to survive in the days to come, we've got to love one another.
And just this part that I was reading about husbands loving their wives and the church, loving each other, that last verse, 34, we never got to it, so I'm going to read it right now.
We must forgive all, all people, all their sins, and love all.
Do you believe that?
Amen.
Do you preachers believe that?
Most don't anymore.
We've got to love the unlovely.
We've got to love those who don't love the church.
We've got to love those who are trying to destroy the church.
We've got to pray for them to be saved.
Jesus died for us all.
Amen.
Amen.
What a good word from our friend, Pastor Jim Baker.
Jesus died for us all.
Friends, that's why we must be continuously praying for the non-believer.
We must be continuously praying for our brother and our sister to our right and to our left, friend.
Why?
Because Jesus' sacrifice was good for all of us.
That's why we must continuously be praying for America.
You know, I'm wearing this shirt, Marcel.
It was back there in the office.
It says, pray for America.
And then it says, in God we trust.
Friend, we must continue to pray for our nation.
Why?
Because the tide of the nation can be changed.
We see this biblically over and over and over again.
We see in Nineveh, a country that was living in such turmoil, a country that was defiling God's name and who he was.
You know what?
There is a redemption moment for them.
Why?
Because they realized, yes, we are doing evil.
They put on their sackcloth.
They fasted.
They prayed and they asked for the Lord God to forgive them of their iniquities.
And what does he do?
He does it every time, friend.
We see that blueprint over and over.
This is a whole book about redemption.
This is an entire book about the restoration of the believer.
Friend, we are called to be restored.
That's why we must pray for America.
I believe, yes, we are going to see turmoil and hard times come to America.
But the believer, we will see revival come to America as well if we continue to intercede for our country.
Continue to pray for America.
Marcel, I love that we have these shirts.
I love that we have the ones that say, I stand with Israel.
We have these that say, I, or I will pray for America.
Why?
Because what is this?
This is a declaration of my faith.
Every time I walk out of the door, I go to my local big box store.
I go downtown to eat, wherever it is that I'm going.
I am making a declaration of faith.
That way someone might say, hey, you know what?
That's a good reminder.
Today, I need to be praying for my country.
We have these available and I'm glad that we do.
Yes, that's right, Ricky.

I'm going to read this passage from you.
It's from John chapter 16, verse 33, is where I'm going to start.

It says, I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace.
You will have suffering in this world, but be courageous, for I have conquered the world.
Amen.
It says, Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come.
Glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you.
Since you have given him authority over all flesh so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.
This is eternal life, friend.
If you've ever wondered what it is, the Bible says it very clearly in John chapter 16, or this is now chapter 17, what this is.
This is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ.
Friend, that is eternal life, having intimacy with Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
If you're not a believer, today is the day you need to get your life in line with the word of God.
You need to get your life right with Jesus Christ, the only true, real God.
And we will never mince our words here at the PTL television network, the Jim Baker family show.
Friend, there is only one way to heaven.
That is Jesus Christ.
If somebody tries to tell you, hey, there's an alternative way to heaven.
There's multiple ways to heaven.
There's a back door up to heaven.
I'll tell you, friend, that that is a lie and you must reject it fully.
There is one way to heaven.
The most important thing we can be doing right now, friend, is evangelizing.
We need to get as many people as possible on the right track so that they can pick up their cross, they can deny themselves, and they can follow Christ all the days of their life.
You know, one of the principles of being a Christian, I truly believe this.
We see this in the Bible.
Israel Under Siege 00:07:51
God has never turned his back on the nation of Israel, so we cannot turn our back on the nation of Israel.
And they are fighting right now on multiple fronts.
We see this nation being handcuffed by other nations saying, you are not even allowed to defend yourself at this point.
We have a CBN news article.
I want you guys to watch this at home and really understand what's happening to our nation of Israel.
Watch this.
Today, Ireland, Spain, and Norway announced they will recognize a state of Palestine.
Each of us will now undertake whatever national steps are necessary to give effect to that decision.
In the lead up to today's announcements, I've spoken with a number of other leaders and counterparts, and I'm confident that further countries will join us in taking this important step in the coming weeks.
Hamas called the decision an important step, while Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said it is giving a prize to Hamas and Iran.
And he recalled Israel's ambassadors to Norway and Ireland.
The European countries' announcements came after this week's decision by the International Criminal Court to consider arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Joav Galant.
On Tuesday, Norway declared if warrants are issued, they will enforce them and arrest Netanyahu and Galant.
On Capitol Hill, a bipartisan group of U.S. senators say they'll take action against the ICC.
And the House of Representatives is working on a bill to sanction the court.
Netanyahu warned that other democracies will be affected and told ABC the ICC prosecutor is pouring gasoline on the global fires of anti-Semitism.
Because he is attacking the one and only Jewish state and trying to handcuff us, preventing us from exercising responsibly through the laws of war as we obey them and we are subordinate to them.
He's saying we're not.
He's creating false symmetry, false facts, and he's doing a grave injustice to the international court.
On the battlefield, the White House says it is satisfied with Israel's scaled-down military plan to invade the last major Hamas stronghold of Rafah.
The IDF already reportedly controls about 30% of the city and more than half of the strategic Philadelphia corridor.
This area contains smuggling tunnels used by Hamas to resupply its ammunition and weapons.
Further north, the U.S.-built pier is bringing in aid to Gaza, but most of the aid is being stolen soon after it leaves the pier.
And the Pentagon says none of that aid has reached the people in Gaza.
On the diplomatic front, a major issue is still what will happen in Gaza after the fighting is over.
Netanyahu says the Palestinian Authority will not control Gaza after the war.
The Biden administration is pressing Israel to accept a deal, normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia in exchange for some form of Palestinian involvement in Gaza after the war.
You know, war overall in general is an ugly thing.
We don't want war.
But, friend, we must support Israel as a nation in its right to defend itself as a nation.
We had a guest on the show the other day.
They put it so perfectly.
That doesn't mean we agree with every little tit and tat that their election process, their elected officials, they do.
No, it doesn't mean that we support their right to be there as a nation.
We support their right to be there as God's nation, the apple of his eye.
You know, recently the Daily Mail put out an article that said that Germany says that if Netanyahu were to step foot into Germany, they would arrest him based off the International Criminal Court's decision to put these charges against him.
Friend, this is a very slippery slope.
And if you're wondering why we're so passionate about it here at the Jim Baker Family Show, it's because it is a slippery slope.
It starts with Israel, but friend, who is almost always after the Jewish people?
The believer is, friend.
The Christian is.
And this isn't a fear tactic.
This isn't fear-mongering.
No, this is reality.
We have seen this consistently over and over.
Even Hitler, he was killing Jews.
And what else?
He was killing Christians, friend.
And those people, you know, we have people around this nation who are chanting on college campuses.
They're denying that the Holocaust even happened.
Friend, we can't rewrite history.
We can't change what happened.
All we can do is look forward and say, Christ, give us, the believer, a better perspective on how to move forward effectively.
That's right, Ricky.
And, you know, even today, the Lord really began, as we see, is true turmoil.
Turmoil.
We're watching right now, nations.
And we, of course, we've been raised in this, right?
So Matthew 24 has been the index that our father has taught us to the book of Revelation, to things to come and understand where we are in these last of the last days.
But there is hope.
And here's the thing: the Lord began to show me today while we see these events taking place in Israel.
Of course, as believers, we're praying, we're interceding, we're asking the Lord for his protection.
But we have to remember we have the word of God, the infallible word of God, where he has shown us his promises.
And I want to encourage you today, and anyone who's watching from Israel, if you have loved ones there, I know there's many people we know, they have family members there.
The believers, churches are standing in the gap for Israel.
Psalms 121 says this, I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
Amen.
He will not let your foot slip.
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your guardian.
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not harm you during the day, nor the moon during the night.
The Lord shall protect you from all evil.
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from now and forevermore.
God's word has not changed.
His promises is still the same.
But the Lord says, as it pertains to Israel, that's a word for you and I. Amen.
We've been grafted in into the Lord's love for Israel as believers.
But the thing is, he says, he who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
And I'm praying, Lord, it's so important that America, we stand with Israel because we want that same protection, that same love that the Lord has for Israel.
We want to be inheritance of that same protection.
The Lord calls himself a guardian over Israel.
And so be encouraged as we see these events taking place.
God is on the throne.
We must, as Ricky said, I love that you said that.
We must look up, look up, keep our eyes focused on Jesus.
Keep our eyes on winning souls in these last of the last days.
That's right.
You know, Galatians 6, verse 7 says, do not be deceived.
God is not mocked for a man will sow what he reaps.
And we've seen this.
William Koenig wrote a book called Eye to Eye, which if you don't have that, you need to get it.
It's important to realize, yes, what a man sows towards Israel, he truly will reap back from God.
And friend, we want to make sure that we're sowing blessings and promises and good words that we are keeping towards Israel, not curses.
Why?
Because even Galatians says it, that he will bless those who bless Israel and he will curse those who curse Israel.
You know, we are seeing war across the world right now.
The global stage right now seems to be filled with it, but we're fighting a war here, even in America on our personal health front as well.
Processed Foods Crisis 00:13:38
We're getting things that passed through the FDC, through the, you know, Federal Drug and Food Administration, all the administrations, the three letters, they're getting passed underneath our nose.
And we have food concerns being raised amongst us.
You know, we have ultra-processed foods that are raising the risks and health of our nation.
I want to watch this right now.
This is an important B-roll that I want you guys to take a look at.
Chips, frozen meals, processed meats, packaged snacks, and bread.
What do they all have in common?
They're all human meats.
Probably not the healthiest.
They're all examples of foods that have been ultra-processed.
It means they've been chemically modified in some way.
They often include high amounts of sugar and little to no whole foods.
In the U.S., more than half of the average diet includes these foods.
I kind of like cringe a little bit.
A new comprehensive study published in the BMJ found people who ate more ultra-processed foods had a higher risk of developing 32 different medical issues.
Of those, researchers found convincing evidence there was a link to cardiovascular disease-related death, anxiety, and common mental disorders, and type 2 diabetes.
It found suggestive evidence of higher chance of death from any cause, heart disease-related death, sleep issues, breathing problems, obesity, and depression.
So, how can you avoid ultra-processed foods?
Here are some tips.
Read the nutrition label.
If there are a lot of ingredients you don't know, it's likely been processed quite a bit.
Try to shop the perimeter of grocery store aisles where you will most likely find fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy proteins.
Watch for foods labeled as healthy but have actually been processed.
And cook meals at home with fresh ingredients that don't have labels.
You know, we have today with us a subject matter expert, your friend.

I'm watching here in awe the passing of the baton to this wonderful ministry to continue the Jim Baker tradition.
And watching Jim in that recording was phenomenal.
It was fantastic.
It was just so inspiring.
We are in trouble times.
And, you know, the Lord told us that in the last days, the hearts of mankind would fail them.
And so, part of our mission in the cardiomiracle family is to help heal the hearts of mankind.
And we have had such amazing, amazing miracles.
And a miracle is something that happens that we don't totally understand.
But it's all based upon spiritual law, natural law.
And when we think of the mission of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he had miracles everywhere.
He understood them.
The people at the time didn't.
And likewise, today, we have to depend on following the gifts of the Spirit to be able to share and inspire.
