The Revelation Revealed 00:12:26
This is why I'm so stirred.
This is why I can hardly sleep at night.
Something big is coming, something bigger than 9-11.
I'm trembling that I opened the book of Revelation.
This is an awesome book.
It's a book of such magnitude.
It is a book that could save your life.
It's a book that is to be read.
It is a book that is to be read with blessing.
Amen.
You know, a lot of people say, well, we are not to know the things that are going to happen in the last days.
But I beg to differ with you.
And I want you to turn with me to the book of Luke, chapter 21, verse 32, just before we open the book of Revelation today.
Luke 21, verse 32.
Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away till all be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.
And take heed to yourself, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness.
Now that word surfeiting means just an abundance of stuff.
It's like the day we're living in right now.
It means pastries.
And actually, if you go into the depth of that word, it's like delicacies, grease, fat, donuts, good stuff.
I mean, it's just a lot of too much of good things.
And so, you know, bad can come from too much good, you know, too much food.
So it says, take heed lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with serfeiting and drunkenness and the cares of this life, so that that day come upon you unaware.
God wants you to be aware of the day that you're living in.
He wants us to know about his return.
Turn over to 1 Thessalonians chapter 5.
1 Thessalonians.
I can't even say it today.
1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 1.
You know, so many times false doctrine comes because people read one piece of the Bible and they say, well, that hasn't happened.
But if you read the whole word of God, it'll come clear to you.
And as I was in prison studying the word month after month, year after year, the word of God, because I'd sit down and read five books of the Bible without moving, without even going to the restroom.
I mean, I just sit there and read and study.
And revelation came from the word of God itself.
You must have the whole word.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by how many words?
Every.
Say it louder.
Every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.
We have to have it all.
So here we go.
1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 1.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you.
So people will read that one verse and say, well, you know, God doesn't want us to know anything.
Read on.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
So that's where we stop.
People, everywhere I've been to preach on the book of Revelation, when I ask people, is Jesus coming as a thief in the night for you?
Everyone in the crowd raises their hand and says yes.
But it's wrong.
Jesus is not coming back for the church as a thief in the night.
That's for the unsaved.
Read the whole Bible.
Stop just reading one verse here and one verse there.
It'll mix you up so bad you won't know what hit you.
Some of you live out of promise boxes.
I'm telling you, you can't live on a promise box.
Throw that thing out.
I mean, it's fine.
But you read the next verse of the promise, and they're usually a condition you got to meet to receive the promise.
And we don't want to pay the price.
We want a genie that we rub and it comes out of a lamp and grants our every wish.
No, we've got to know the whole word.
So let's go on.
For yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
Verse 4.
But you, brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Did you hear me?
Jesus is not coming for you as a thief in the night.
We can know when he's coming back.
We can know by looking around and see the times that we're living in.
Oh, we won't know the day.
We won't know the hour, but we sure will know when we're living in those days that are the coming of the Lord time on earth, when the time has been set.
This same verse in the living Bible reads so plainly, it says, But dear brothers, you are not in the dark about these things, and you won't be surprised as by a thief when that day of the Lord comes.
2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 1.
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word.
Don't get upset by evil spirits.
Don't be upset by what people say.
In other words, you don't need to be upset.
Nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Don't be upset when somebody says, Oh, Jesus has come or he's already come.
And, you know, we have so much strange doctrine around the world today.
Let's go on.
Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day, the day of the Lord shall not come except there come a falling away first.
We're in the day, folks, of the falling away of the church.
People still going to church, but there's no conviction there.
And we're living in that hour, in that day.
We're living in a day where you can't tell the difference between the church crowd and the world crowd.
Let no man deceive you in any means, for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first.
And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worship, so that he is God sitting in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Remember you not that what I was yet with you, I told you these things.
Jesus Christ does not return until the Antichrist is revealed.
And I know you're hearing teaching the opposite of that.
But as I study the Word of God, I cannot find scriptures to back up the fact that Jesus comes back before the Antichrist.
Jesus said the Antichrist will be revealed before he comes back.
How much plainer do we have to have it?
So the Word of God is clear.
There's signs.
There's things that God wants to show us.
But he says, don't be afraid.
Don't fear.
And he says, I want you to know everything.
I want you to be aware.
And he has left us this big book that we don't have to be alone.
We don't have to be afraid.
The word is here.
Turn with me to the book of Revelation.
I'm going to read the first verse of chapter 1 of the book of Revelation.
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass.
And he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.
Oh, I mean, right there, it's going to take us the rest of the night to finish that one verse.
This is so awesome.
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ by Jesus Christ.
This is the book written down by the Apostle John.
And most all scholars believe that it was John.
He was about 90 years of age when he wrote down what the Spirit gave him.
It was about 60 years after the ascension of Jesus Christ.
John witnessed Christ, and then he went through great persecution under the Emperor Domitian.
He was on the Isle of Patmos when he wrote this down.
It was a penal colony.
It was a prison.
It was a horrible place.
It was the rock.
I mean, it was a place of horror.
And he was there on this island.
It was about 10 miles long, probably by about six miles wide.
And why was John there?
Do you know the history?
It's awesome how much Jesus is in history.
The word of God is in history books as well as in the Holy Bible.
Jewish history, Josephus tells us that Jesus was the Son of God, that he died and rose from the grave.
That's not the Bible.
I'm quoting Josephus.
He says you couldn't call Jesus just a man, he was the Son of God.
This is in Jewish history.
Well, historians tell us that John was imprisoned because he refused to bow to Caesar.
And Caesar demanded that people, when they see him, they would bow and say, Caesar is Lord.
Well, you're not going to get John to say that, John the Beloved.
Believe me, he loved Jesus and Jesus loved him dearly.
So John said, Jesus is Lord and there's no other.
That's what he would say.
And that's what the Christians all said.
Jesus is Lord and there's no other.
So he ends up in prison.
He ends up in this horrible rocky prison camp.
But God visits him there.
The Son of God visits him there.
And he has the revelation of the last days, the revelation of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the ending of time.
So, this book is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Also, you could say it, it's the revelation by Jesus Christ.
It comes from him, and it's about him.
It's centered on him.
Very, very important.
And it says here, the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass.
And he sent and signified it by his angel.
The Meaning of Angel 00:02:22
I want you to know that word angel because everyone who's going to be a part of this study in the weeks to come, there's some important, important keys that you must remember.
Some keys that you're going to have to note if you're going to have full disclosure of this revelation.
And one of them is the word angel is a Greek word, A-G-G-E-L-O-S.
And it means messenger or pastor.
This word angel in the Greek means messenger or pastor.
The same word is used for angel that was used to describe John the Baptist.
John the Baptist was not an angel as we know it.
John the Baptist was a messenger.
Believe me, you're going to need to remember what I'm telling you right now.
You need to know the Greek meaning of the word angel.
Very, very, very important.
The word revelation is apocalypse in the Greek.
It's the apocalypse.
It's the uncovering.
This word revelation means uncovering, unveiling, and disclosure.
Now, everybody wants to know secrets, don't you?
I mean, I know women like to know secrets.
You men don't know about secrets because you never have secrets or you don't gossip or you don't want to know hidden things.
But I've always wanted to go for hidden treasure.
I've always wanted to, I was as a little boy.
I was always fascinated by digging up treasure chests.
I love treasure chests and digging them by.
I always wanted to go discover hidden treasure.

Well, here we have hidden treasure in this book that's going to revolutionize your life.
The book of Revelations will revolutionize you.
This is uncovering.
But we have to study.
We're going to find out that the Bible is revealed by itself.
You don't need Dr. so-and-so to reveal the Word of God.
The Word of God reveals itself.
And we're going to show you amazing discoveries in the next few weeks.
Amazing.
Things that shake me when I found them out.
I couldn't understand some of the things about the spirit world coming up and down from the throne of God.
And then I find out over in Ezekiel, it's explained.
And then as I begin to dig in and find pieces in Daniel and find all, and then over in the Psalm, I'm finding keys to Revelation.
Why?
Well, this old man named John was 90 years old.
And he knew the keys that the church would understand was Old Testament information.
He knew the church knew the Old Testament.
And so I believe John literally used code in this book of Revelation because he had to smuggle this book out past the guards.
Did you realize that?
This book had to be smuggled out of prison.
And so he wrote in code.
And I also believe that the Spirit of God caused it to happen.
Because the word is not for everybody.
How many know when you are not born again, you don't understand born again?
How many know?
Before people that are unsaved, you try to tell them how wonderful it is to be saved, and they look at you like, duh.
What do you mean by that?
Born again.
What does that mean?
You know, they don't understand it.
If you've never eaten an ice cream cone, I'm telling you, I would have a hard time trying to tell you what an ice cream cone tastes like.
Oh, it's cold.
It's wet.
It's sweet.
You know, until you taste it, you don't understand what an ice cream cone is.
And until you're saved, you don't understand what it means to be born again.
And to the unsaved mind, the book of Revelation is trash.
I'm serious.
They make fun of the book of Revelations.
I hear church people, which is sad, saying, oh, I don't understand it, so I'm not going to read it.
Why are you disobedient?
The Spirit of God says to read this book, to hear this book.
Amen.
This is a book of revealed secrets.
This is a book of revealed secrets.
How many know the gospel is a mystery?
That's what the Bible calls it, a mystery.
This is what I'm telling you about.
That's why the Bible says it's a mystery.
It's a mystery because people don't understand it.
They don't understand the mystery until revelation comes.
Daniel 2:28.
Daniel 2:28.
I want to read this for you.
Go over to the Old Testament to the book of Daniel.
But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.
Thy dream and the visions of thy head upon thy bed are these.
As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed.
What should come to pass hereafter?
And he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.
God is the only revealer of true secrets of God.
These secrets come from the throne of God.
Amos 3:7 says, Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants, the prophets.
Did you hear me?
I'm reading from the book of Amos.
The Lord God will do nothing but that he revealeth his secrets unto his servants, the prophets.
We must have the prophets back in their proper position in the body of Christ now.
Now, many churches are missing out because they do not have the prophets in their midst.
And I know there's been a lot of crazy prophetic things happen.
People have done things and said they were prophesying when they were not.
Maybe we need to go back to the Bible way of stoning them if their prophecies don't come true.
Maybe they'd be a little more careful.
Seriously, we must have the prophetic word today.
I could not be here today if it wasn't for the prophets.
The prophets that spoke into my life.
And it's time to hear from the prophetic word.
I want to tell you one of the reasons we're building this network.
Do you think I'm building a television network so Jim Baker can get back on television?
You've got to be crazy.
Do you think I want to go back through anything that I've been through the last 16 years?
Do you think I don't know I'm a lightning rod when I stick my neck above the crowd again?
I'll tell you, my flesh wants to go find a nice little cabin up here in the glory land of the Ozarks and just find a little spot where I can go and hide and not be out here in the front.
God has put me back on television to reveal the things that I'm teaching you now.
One day I'll be talking about them on television because people will want to hear it.
When Los Angeles is collapsing with an earthquake, they're going to want to hear, what is this all about?
When the prophetic things in the last days are taking place all over the world, people are going to want to know, why is this happening?
A couple years ago, God gave me 31 things in a prophetic word in the middle of the night.
I got up and I wrote them down.
I haven't shared them all here.
And someday I really need to.
One of the 31 things that God showed me was that there would be a great explosion in New York City and in Washington, D.C.
This was two years before 9-11.
He said there would be terror.
And I saw people running in terror.
There's tapes of that prophetic message that I brought on New Year's Eve of New Year's of 1999 and the year beginning the year 2000.
God spoke to me 31 things.
Most of them already come to pass.
One of the things, he said there would be an explosion on a cruise liner.
I don't believe the explosion that took place this week is that explosion.
But I believe like 9-11, it's a forerunner of things that could happen.
God's people can change things if they humble themselves and pray.
You know that.
But we're heading full force into a collision course with eternity right now.
It's time to hear.
It's time to heed the word of God.
God reveals his secrets unto his prophets.
And I believe that it's the hour of the prophet has come.
And we need, I believe there's some prophets that are sitting up in these here hills, probably.
There's prophets that we haven't met yet.
I'm tired of just this play game religion.
I'm tired of this manipulation of people to get money out of them.
I'm tired of this gospel that is being preached today that's another gospel.
It's not the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It's opposite of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I believe there's some men of God that are seeking God right now in this country.
I believe all over the world God has his people.
And one of the reasons God has had me build this network is so that one day these prophets can come and share and reveal the word of the Lord.
They're not going to reveal anything that's new truth.
It's just going to be revelation and tell us the word from the Lord.
I believe that God has brought me to the kingdom for such a time as this, not to bring Jim Baker back.
This program is just being established around the world so God can use it to speak to people when the world's falling apart.
And if you don't believe the world's falling apart, then you haven't read the Bible.
If you're listening to a church where they're telling you it's going to get better and better and you're just going to fly away, I'm telling you, they are lying to you.
Why do you believe some preacher over Jesus?
One of these nights, we're going to talk about Matthew 24.
And I'm going to take you through the words of Jesus in that because it's all about Revelation.
It just goes back and forth.
I mean, actually, what I ought to do is just take and take you through Revelation.
I'll just take you through Matthew 24 because it's all just the same thing.
Jesus taught it.
And he said, these are the things that are going to happen.
They asked him, When will be the sign of the last days and the coming?
You're coming back.
And Jesus went down and told us all the things.
And they're happening right now.
And we're saying, oh, I don't know if Jesus is going to come back or not.
He's coming back.
But I'll tell you what, we're not ready.
He's coming back for a church without spot and without wrinkle.
And it's time for us to realize there is a mystery here.
There is secrets that God wants to reveal.
And this book of Revelation is revealed secrets.
Romans 16:25.
Here's what it says.
Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ authoring, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began.
The gospel is secret.
Can you not see the world we're living in, how the world is so antichrist, the antichrist spirits alive.
Our government has allowed antichrist spirit to come in.
We have, we have made it illegal to have bible reading in our schools or prayer in our schools.
That's antichrist people, and the world makes fun of us.
The comedians mock us as the church.
I'm telling you, if you're, if you're writing out government papers and you write down that you believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, they're going to put you in the loony bin.
If you go into prison and you start answering all the things that you believe is your faith in Jesus Christ and you write those answers down, they're going to say, we've got a live one here.
We got a real crazy here why he believes that Jesus Christ is coming in the clouds.
He believed that, that this man died and rose from the dead.
And they make it sound like it's crazy to believe the Bible.
That's what society does today, but yet more of us in America believe in Jesus Christ than don't believe in Jesus Christ as far as writing down on surveys.
So we have this great division and very little real revelation on Jesus Christ.
And this is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
That goes us to hear Galatians 12, for I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 3 3, how that by revelation he made known unto To me, the mystery.
The book of Revelation is a mystery to most people.
And throughout the Bible, I'm going to have to pass out to you some notes and scripture lists because I've got so many things that for you that are students, I want you to have.
You that really want to know truth.
And the word mystery is in the word of God so many, many, many times.
And it says the mystery of the kingdom of God, Mark 4:11.
Romans 11:25, he said that we should not be ignorant of the mystery.
Romans 16:25, the revelation of the mystery.
1 Corinthians 2:7, the wisdom of God in the mystery, hidden wisdom.
1 Corinthians 15, 51.
He said, Behold, I will show you a mystery.
Ephesians 1:9, having made known unto us the mystery of his will, the will of God.
Ephesians 3:4, the knowledge in the mystery of Christ.
Ephesians 3:9 to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery.
Ephesians 5:32, this is a great mystery.
I speak concerning Christ in the church.
Ephesians 6:19, make known the mystery of the gospel.
Colossians 1, 26, even the mystery that's been hid from the ages, from generation.
Colossians 1:27, the glory of this mystery.
Colossians 2:2, the acknowledgement of the mystery of God.
Colossians 4:3, the speaker the mystery of Christ.
2 Timothy 2:7, the mystery of iniquity.
1 Timothy 3:9, the mystery of the faith and pure consciousness.
1 Timothy 3:16, controversy is the mystery of godliness.
Revelations 1:20:20, the mystery, the mystery.
Revelations 10:7, the mystery.
Revelation 17, 7.
Revelation, I believe, is this mystery written in code.
The Bible talks about it.
The mystery that God wants to open up to us today.
He opens our understanding.
Daniel 12:4, it says, But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end.
Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

We are there at the end of time.
We are there when men shall run to and fro.
Knowledge has been increased.
Do you understand that?
Knowledge has been increased.
Man has done more.
My father, who just passed away not too many years ago, went to Washington State from Michigan in a horse-drawn cart.
Can you believe that?
Somebody living on earth right now, or has been living, just passed away, in our day and age, that would actually go across the country by horse.
That's unbelievable.
Well, my father remembers the first electric lights that they had kerosene lanterns.
Anybody here remember kerosene lanters?
Did you have anybody old enough here?
See, don't look at me so strange.
What are you talking about?
How many remember seeing the first automobiles that came into your city?
Anybody old enough to remember the first automobiles that came in?
Yes, there's one here.
My father does.
My father did.
You remember the first airplanes?
Remember radio sets when they first started to be used?
Here's a man that said, Yes, remember the radios.
I remember television.
I remember radio because we listened to the radio.
You know, knowledge has been increased.
Knowledge is increasing every week.
We buy television equipment.
It's all outdated already.
Everything, technology is just increasing and increasing and increasing and increasing.
And we're trying to harness some of this technology to help bring back the coming of the Lord Jesus to preach the gospel with the satellites and the computers and the television all around the world.
Knowledge has been increased.
This is the time that we're living in today.
I want you to remember some things as we get into this book.
And I'm going to be teaching more of this as we go along to kind of lay the foundation about this.
And let's just go back to this first verse because I want you to see a couple words that's going to set the stage for us to study this book.
It's going to take this whole hour just to really lay foundation for this study because it's important we have the foundation laid.
Revelation chapter 1, verse 1: the revelation, the uncovering, the unveiling, the disclosure of Jesus Christ, that means Jesus, the Messiah, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants, to show.
A Man Sees The Future 00:02:20
This is a very, very important point in this first verse.
John saw what was going to happen.
Now, you try to think about this.
This will help you as we go into this and we start studying this book.
Because you need to understand: John saw this vision.
Saw and see and shown are in the book of Revelation 65 times.
Many of the books open up.
Many of the chapters say open up with Saw.
So you got to think of this.
Here's a 90-year-old man seeing 2,000 years in the future.
Here's a man seeing the warfare that we have today, seeing the technology, seeing fiery chariots, seeing cars in highways, and seeing all the things that we have today.
Here's a man that, in technicolor, in surround sound, is seeing the future.
And it's all so much about seeing.
You young people would think of it this way.
He's watching a video.
Can you get it now?
He's watching something of the future in the spirit.
Revelation 1:10 says, I was in the spirit on the Lord's Day and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet.
He was in the spirit, and he saw and he heard.
He traveled in the spirit.
Revelation 4:2.
And immediately I was in the spirit, and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat upon.
He was translated up to heaven.
Revelation 17:3.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Boy, when we get to this harlot, I am going to beat her up.
I'm telling you, I'm going to unveil her.
I'm going to show you.
Loving Money Is an Abomination 00:03:50
And I'm telling you, the church has aligned ourselves to the harlot of Revelation.
We have been aligned to the Antichrist, not Jesus Christ.
This love of money that's being taught today is an abomination.
It's an abomination.
It's opposite of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Not one of you said amen.
Because you go to churches that teach you to love money.
And Jesus said, Don't love money.
You cannot serve God and mamma.
Don't love the things of the world.
And we fall so much in love with stuff.
And we think we're spiritual because of stuff.
And God's word says, flee anyone who teaches you that money or gain is godliness.
The harlot of Revelation is about materialism.
And in one hour, just like the trade center, she's gone.
The whole world system is coming down in one hour.
Just like 9-11, the towers came.
9-11 is a prophetic word to this world, and we're not hearing it.
Because every preacher that dares say what I said has been ostracized and been beaten back.
Anyone that dares say God's trying to warn America with 9-11 says you're preaching heresy and they don't want to hear it.
That's why I'm not saying this on television.
Because I believe God wants me to establish television before they come for me.
Don't touch the money.
Because that's our God.
You know where your God is when you get real upset when somebody fools with it.
I'm going to have to go back during this thing and teach some more about money in the Bible.
I never did finish my road to Revelation.
I'm going to do it, though, if anybody stays long enough to hear it.
Because we are living in the time of the fulfillment of prophecy of the great falling away, where people are believing another gospel.
I'm not trying to take your candy from you.
I'm not trying.
I preach about the favor of God.
I'm living in the favor of God.
I believe in the favor of God.
I believe in the abundance of God.
I believe in his supply.
I believe that he takes care of all of our needs according to his riches and glory.
I believe in living, you know, on the cattle on a thousand hills.
I mean, you know, he's got it all.
But how can we absolutely mock our Savior by loving the stuff and loving the things and loving this present world?
I'm telling you, when I landed in prison, my stuff didn't come with me.
People didn't come with me.
But Jesus Christ came with me.
And he says, I'll never, never, never leave you.
I'll never, never, never forsake you.
That's why I'm in love with Jesus.
That's why I'm angry with this harlot of Revelation because she is the one who steals the love from the church for Jesus Christ.
And the church falls in love with things and stuff until that wrath of God.

Do you think God's mad?
Do you think he's angry because the world is doing something?
No, he's upset because his church deals with his church.
It's his people that he cares about.
Anything that takes the love from the true love is a whore, is a harlot.
And God hates the whore of Revelation, the harlot of Revelation.
And we'll get there.
We'll get there.
And I'm going to take you point by point all the way down through there.
But remember, we're teaching some foundation here.
I saw is 25 times in the book of Revelation.
So you've got to remember, this is a very visual book.
So we've got to see these things in the spirit as John saw them.
See is 16 times.
Saw itself by itself is eight times.
Show is five times.
I looked is five times.
Just look by itself is three times.
And seen is three times.
That's 65 times in the book of Revelations.
John is seeing or he saw something and he's looking.
So it's very important that we must see this 65 times.
And I am not going to read them all, even though I have written them all out.
Every one of them.
I'm going to type them up and I'm going to print them off and I'm going to give them to you next week.

I just want you to have them.
I'm tired of you people believing stuff just because some guy said it.
I think it's time we find out what the Bible says.
That's why I'm so complete in what I do.
I want to find every word that God has to say on the subject.
I want to know what it's all about.

There's five full pages of verses from the book of Revelation.
There they are, all of them right there about Saul.

I'm not going to read them to you.
But I want, Laurie says, usually he does.
We're in the last days.
People aren't enduring sound doctrine anymore, so we got to move on.
But then, 48 times, here or heard is in the book of Revelation.
So John literally sees the future and he hears it.
Can you imagine he hears these things that are about to take place on planet earth?
And so here I have, I've got them all typed out, but as again, I'm not going to bore you with them.
There they are.
There's all the I heards and I hear in the book of Revelation.
48 times, John.
So John had to explain his vision in the language of his days.
He had to get it past the guards, those manuscripts.
So now as we get in this book, I want you to put yourself back there with John, a 90-year-old man.
The New Testament reader is going to be familiar with the Old Testament codes because in that day that he's living.
And John is an old man.
I believe, this is what I believe.
You don't have to believe this.
But I believe John goes back over material at least five times in the book of Revelation.
One of the reasons you say this seems like it's a repeat, I believe it is a repeat.
I believe John, at 90 years of age, is like me.
He wants you to get it.
And he's going to show it from every camera angle.
God gave it to him.
And we're going to show you some of those things as we reveal John and the seven seals that cover this whole book.
He wants to make the vision clear to the reader.
Is there a difference between the tribulation and God's wrath?
We're going to talk about that as we go along.
That's one of the points we'll talk about.
Will the church go through the tribulation?
We're going to talk about that.
And I think you already figured it out.
I think we're going through some of it at least, and maybe all of it.
Will the church not go through God's wrath?
We're going to find that out.
We're going to look at that and see what it says.
And if one of my brethren gave this thought to me, and I don't know if it has basis, but it's interesting anyhow.
So I just throw it out to you.
If 7,000-year assumption is correct, and that God gave us seven-day weeks, you know, and he worked six days and he rested on the seventh.
And then if a day with the Lord is a thousand years, 2 Peter 3, 8, but beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
So if that's the case, many Bible scholars believe that it was 4,000 years before Christ, that creation and the fall of man.
And then 3,000 BC was Noah and the flood.
2,000 BC, Abraham's covenant with God.
And 1300 BC, Moses, the law, and Israel.
1,000 BC, David's king of Israel.
And then 32 AD, the first coming of Jesus Christ.
And in somewhere in the 2000s, many then believe that that is the time of the coming of the Lord.
If those figures are correct, which I'm not saying they are, because some believe that and some don't.
So I'm just throwing it out there.
Some believe that to be.
So that would mean that this time right now is the time of the book of Revelation.
If that's anywhere near correct, I think we ought to open this book.
I think we need to find out what God has to say to us about these last days.
So we're opening the book, chapter 1, verse 1, the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants.
This is the bond slave, one who is in permanent relationship of servitude to another.
His will altogether consumed in the will of the other.
So this message from Christ to John, this message to you today, this is only for the bondservant.
This is only to the one who has sold out to God.
This is only to those who are 100%.
And we don't have it today.
I'm going to tell you, when the stock market crashes, many of the big churches are going to be empty.
When the money's gone, people are going to flee the church and shake their hands in the fists of their pastors and said, you said we would never have poverty.
You said that we would never go through tribulation.
You said we would have success forever.
And now the world's falling apart.
You've lied to us.
One of the 31 things God showed me, that many of the largest prosperity churches in the world will go bankrupt and close their doors.
Why?
Because they're based on the love of money instead of on Jesus Christ.
We're not bond slaves.
We're party time Joes.
We're good time Mary.
We're coming as long as the goods keep coming.
As long as we can have the Mercedes to drive up in the church and say, we're blessed, we're blessed, we're blessed.
God said, I'm revealing this word to my bond slaves.
Those are the ones who, when they're set free, choose to stay.
Choose to be apart.
Say, I'm not walking away.
I'm not leaving.
And that's where I am.
I've been to hell and back.
I've been through tribulation.
I've been through the loss of all things.
And I've learned one thing.
He never walks away.
So when I'm telling when the world's falling apart, I'm going to be able to walk through the rubble.
I'm going to be able to walk through the earthquake zones.
I'm going to be able to go with you through the shadow of the valley of death and take your hand and say, Come on, we're going on the greatest adventure we've ever known.
God's never going to walk away.
He's not going to leave us.
He's not going to forsake us.
I'm a bond slave.
I'm a bond slave.

He's shown unto his servant the bonds, one who is in a permanent relationship, not in and out, a permanent relationship of servitude to another.
His will is altogether consumed in the will of the other.
My God, I've seen so many people come into this restaurant and say, Oh, I just want to do God's will.
I want to serve God.
I'm here to work.
As soon as you ask them to clean the toilets, they're out of here.
Soon as you give them a job that would take any effort at all, they're out of here.
Oh, where's the good stuff?
Where's the money?
Where's the fun?
Where's la la la?
Let's have some more hype.

Hype's not going to work in the last days.
When you're dying, they can sing and have the Mormon Tabernacle choir at your gravesite, and it's not going to help.
You don't need hype.
You need hope.
You need the word of God.
You need to base your life on this scriptures, the word of the living God.
It's nothing fearful.
I want to know what's going to happen.
If the sun and the moon is going to be darkened, I'd sure like to know about it before it happens.
I'll tell you what: if an asteroid hits the earth and the sun and the moon goes dark tomorrow, I will not be shocked.
I will be awestruck because I'll be all just like the rest of you.
But I want to tell you, I'll say, well, God, you tried to tell us.
He tells us in Matthew 24, we don't even believe it.
In the very words of Jesus, the sun and the moon is going to go dark.
I'm going to show you a movie one night.
I'm going to show you a scientific movie that's going to blow your mind.
It looks like the book of Revelation.
And it's a science movie.
One of the most awesome movies I have ever seen in my life.
It is like the book of Revelation coming true.
And this is what the science says.
The scientists say: when an asteroid hits the earth, this is what's going to happen.
It's like the book of Revelation happening.
What is a mountain burning with fire coming to earth?
What is a fiery mountain burning?
What in the world is it?
It's an asteroid.
It's a comet.
Oh, you're getting scared.
I better not go there right now.
I'm just giving you a little foresight of what's going to happen.
I'm almost done.
They're counting me down.
Just a minute.
Isn't it exciting?
You get to know when the preacher's going to stop.
Look at the sign.
It says seven minutes to go right there.
Show the crowd.
They can get happy.
They get to go home and watch more television.

So here we read the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass.
Now, hear this.

The King James Bible is many times incorrect.
Where's those people that get on the radio and preach to preserve the old King James, the one Paul had?
Don't show your ignorance by saying that, folks.
King James is only a few hundred years old.
I mean, it's not the one Jesus had.
I mean, it's not the one Paul had.
So here's it.
No wonder people are confused when you don't study.
Because it says here, here's John and the Isle of Patmos 2,000 years ago, and he's saying things that must shortly come to pass.
Something's wrong when it doesn't make sense.
So you need to study.
I know that may hurt your fingernails.

But must shortly come to pass.
This is made up of two Greek words.
First of all, it's EN shortly is fixed place in time, is what it means in the Greek.
Shortly come to pass.
The first part of it's EN, fixed place in time, space or period within which anything takes place.
It does not say in the original text of the scriptures, shortly.
I challenge you to look it up.
Study it.
Get you a Greek Hebrew study Bible and start working with it.
It means a fixed period of time when everything or anything takes place.
Now hear this.
When the book of Revelation starts happening in fullness, it is all going to take place in a short period of time.
It does not say in the original, which must shortly come to pass.
The second part of this Greek word, which of these two Greek words I was telling you about, it looks like tacos.
It's T-A-C-H-O-S in the Greek.
It's come to pass or come into being.
And it's so all this means is when the book of Revelation starts to happen, it will all come about in a short period of time.
That's why you have to study the word.
And he sent or sent out on a mission and signified it by his angel or messenger.
It actually actually means pastor as well.
It was signified.
So he sent it out on a mission.
He sent out on a mission by a messenger is the number one interpretation of the word angel.
Remember, it's the same word that describes John the Baptist.

Signified it by a signet ring, means it was sealed.
Sealed is the word in the Greek.
It was sealed by the messenger from God unto his servant John.
So Revelation 22, 6, look at there quickly.

And he said unto them, these sayings are faithful and true, and the Lord God of the Holy Prophet sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
And this is the exact same Greek word, two words, meaning when it happens, it will happen suddenly and in a fixed place in time.
So when it happens, it's happening all together.
Saying the same thing again.
Revelation 22, 7, go on.
Behold, I come quickly.
Blessed is he that keepeth the saying of the prophecies of this book.
The quickly, the Greek word means suddenly or by surprise.
So Jesus is coming, and when these things in the Revelation happen, they're going to happen all together, and he's going to come back suddenly.
Remember, please write it down that angel is messenger.
Angel is messenger.
And Matthew 11, 10, for this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger, same Greek word, before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
This is talking about John the Baptist.
This word messenger in Matthew 11, 10 in the King James Bible, your beloved, there it is.
That word messenger is the same word, A-G-G-E-L-O-S, translated angel, in the book of Revelation.
And if you don't understand this, you're not going to understand what I'm going to teach in the days to come.
Revelation 1:2, who bear record, witness, or testified of the word.
This is the spoken word, the Logos, who bear record of the spoken word of God and of the testimony, the evidence given of Jesus Christ and of all things, much things, great things that he saw, it means in the Greek.
This is the John's bearing the record of the word spoken of God, of the evidence of the testimony of Jesus Christ, of the great things which he saw and knew.
Verse 3, blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy or prediction.
Blessed.
This is where we're going next week.
We're going into this blessed book.
God says, I'm going to bless you if you'll hear it.
They didn't have a lot of copies of the Bible back in those days.
So they passed these words around.
They passed John's writings around so they heard.
So they were blessed if they read it or they're blessed if they heard it.

Blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy and prediction and keeps, watches, holds fast those things which are written therein.
