Church's Responsibility
00:01:02
|
|
| Food insecurity is a real thing. | |
| There are many people in the United States of America who find themselves in a position like that. | |
| Church, it is our responsibility to feed them. | |
| Church, it is our responsibility to clothe them. | |
| Pastor Jim and Lori Baker went down into the inner city. | |
| They found nine children. | |
| They said, you know what? | |
| We are going to change their lives through a yes of the Holy Spirit. | |
| Holy Spirit said, bring these people in, call them your sons and your daughters, and give them the inheritance in which you've been building. | |
| And friend, I want to tell you, Jesus does the same thing for you. | |
| Or you may be someone who is down and you're saying, hey, you know what? | |
| I'm not worth saving. | |
| God says you are a son and you are a daughter. | |
| Believer watching right now, that is who you are. | |
| You have the inheritance that is the cross. | |
| You have been drafted in. | |
| You are a part of the family of Jesus Christ. | |
| In the same capacity, Pastor Jim Baker did that for us. | |
| The Holy Spirit did that for you. | |
| Jesus Christ died on a cross so that you could be called a son and a daughter. | |
| All you have to do is accept it. | |
| All you have to do is say yes. | |
| All you have to do is get to know him. | |
| Repent. | |
| Believe the gospel. | |
| And friend, I promise you, you will have your name written in the land's book of life. | |
