Need to Build 00:06:08
You and Sam have just returned from Cindy Jacobs prophetic conference.
Where the prophets, were there anything that like one point or two points?
Had they agreed upon anything?
Yes yes, Cindy is.
Is Mama Bear?
Yes, she is, you know, she's so skilled at keeping us all in line.
And so annually, the lead prophets from the nations of the world gather in Dallas and we sharpen each other privately, behind closed doors, and so, of course, all the Europeans do prophesy to each other, we do minister to each other, but actually what we're mainly there to do is what?
Where is there agreement internationally?
What is God doing internationally?
I would say there's two or three key things that there's mass agreement and with this mass agreement we're all like because prophets don't always agree right, this is it, this is it we're, so we pay attention.
Two or three things.
The first thing is harvest.
There is going to be a harvest for the kingdom of God like none other, and people are going to do to us what they did to the disciples.
Tell us about Jesus.
You know grabbing on to this.
Tell us about Jesus, I think the second thing and you can jump in with what your take home from it was Sam.
Second thing is, you've got to get ready for persecution and you've got to get ready for harsh things to come against the people of God.
And we actually saw laws that were not just.
We actually saw the blocking of social media.
We saw even the attempt to make the Bible a hate speech book, where they would want to ban the word of God.
We saw a sense of the church needing to be more of an underground church right across the world and the the need, even for those who broadcast to make sure there were books, because sometimes broadcasts will be taken down and all you will have are the books and you will need actually sometimes off the the the the, or you'll be taken off the normal airwave.
So you will need your own apps and you will need your own platforms because of the coming persecution.
And that really is.
I mean, that was.
I think everybody was on the page with that as the prophets.
And I think the third thing God said very strongly is, do no, do not build what you want.
Stop building what you want.
I need you to build what I need as God and this shift and there was a lot of repentance over that.
Oh God, we're building what we want.
We're building according to yesterday's dream.
We're building according to what, what would make us feel good and feel alive.
And God says, I am telling a story across the generations.
I am building, you know, the kingdom of God over the time span of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
I'm a multi-generational God.
You need to ask God, what do you need built in the earth, rather than what do I want built.
And I felt like God did this massive course correction to say, get off your own dreams, get off your own agendas, get off of your own thinking and say God, what do you need?
Because when I'm building what you need, all other things are added.
So that was the what, what was your sense of, what was there was such an invite into co-laboring with God like we had completely forgotten what that meant, and I think the correction being, we think co-laboring is God coming to help us build, when actually co-laboring is actually us coming to help God in what he is building.
And so really that's Build, on my terms, says God.
I build on my terms.
And the invite to come up to where God is and to see in the spirit what he is building and then to co-labor with him to build in the earth.
I think as well on the persecution, there was such a sense of, though we are seeing pre-tremors of it, we are seeing some things of it now, that God is putting us in boot camp to make sure that our hearts are ready, that we're resilient, that we have backbone, as you said earlier on in the show, that there's a sense of a backbone to be able to endure,
but also that we don't resist the persecution or try and shut it down because in it, the message of Christ will go further.
That in even increasing darkness, the message of Christ will be all the more heard.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines on you.
Where?
In darkness that covers the air.
And that we're entering into those days.
And I think when a nation gets the leader that they don't want, you have to say in that, that you have to say, hallelujah, Jesus, because what that does is it refines the church to be the bride who has made herself ready.
Because you and I would love to say, well, I grow in blessing, but we would be liars because actually we grow in persecution.
And we grow when the structure round about us doesn't bless us.
And sometimes we can lean too much into politics and say, well, you back us up.
You know, you make a way for us.
And God says, you get lazy, church, sometimes because you're wanting politics to actually do the job of the church.
And the Lord says, sometimes I let happen the very thing you don't want to see happen that rattles you to your core because I don't come back to marry the nation.
I come back to marry the bride.
And actually, the bride is made ready in hardship.
