Three Periods of Truth
00:04:43
|
|
| We're going to turn our focus right now to the very important topic that we want everyone to know about. | |
| The first one is called postmodernism. | |
| Will you define that for us to get us started? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| There is absolutely a group of people that would like the destruction of America. | |
| And you can call this group many different things, globalists, communists, socialists. | |
| The best word is Marxists. | |
| They rally around many different things for the destruction of America. | |
| That being climate change, that being manipulated social injustices, rewriting history, changing the definition of words, destroying the family, destroying the economy through things like hyperinflation, which we're going to get to at the end of the show, and also destroying the world by becoming a postmodern thinker. | |
| And this group needs America to be destroyed because America is the last country that stands in the way of a new world order. | |
| Explain postmodernism. | |
| Postmodernism is a philosophy. | |
| Wow. | |
| And it's a philosophy that says that truth may exist, but no one can actually know it. | |
| Okay? | |
| And that is where we are today. | |
| We are in a time of history right now. | |
| You might not note this. | |
| Right now, you and I are sitting in a time period of history that is known as the postmodern time period. | |
| You see, a little history. | |
| From the timing that Adam was created by God until where we are right now, we have went through three different periods of time where we filter how truth is to be observed. | |
| The first time period from Adam for thousands and thousands of years is called the pre-modern time period. | |
| It was actually from Adam all the way up until the Enlightenment period in the 1700s. | |
| Every human being that existed had the same type of philosophy when it came to truth. | |
| That truth does exist, there is truth, and it comes from God. | |
| It has a supernatural source. | |
| Whether you believed in false gods, like the Egyptians or other people groups that had thousands of gods, every human that existed from Adam's time until the Enlightenment period of 1700s, everybody believed that truth was objective, not subjective. | |
| It was real. | |
| It was weighty. | |
| It was tangible. | |
| And the source was supernatural. | |
| The source came from God. | |
| Now we know that the real truth comes from the God of the Bible, Yahweh. | |
| And so did the Israelites in the Old Testament. | |
| So, pre-modernism, like I said, lasts for thousands of years from Adam until the 1700s. | |
| This was the way of thinking from the beginning of human history up into the Enlightenment period. | |
| Once the Enlightenment period hit us, we moved into a time period of modernism. | |
| Modernism says this, as differentiated between pre-modernism, there is truth, it comes from God. | |
| Modernism says this. | |
| There is truth, but we can only find it by human reason. | |
| Not revelation from God and not scripture. | |
| It essentially worships the human mind. | |
| And it's from the birth of this that we actually come up with fascism and communism and the other atheistic worldviews in which to dominate. | |
| This comes from the modern time period from the 1700s and it lasted 250 years until around into the 1950s. | |
| It was in the 1960s officially that we had entered into a postmodern time period. | |
| But it has, the seed was placed in the 60s, and it's grown and grown and grown. | |
| And it's only taken a hold in truly the past eight to ten years. | |
| Wow. | |
| You see, postmodernism says this, that there may be truth, but who can know it? | |
| Truth is intuitive. | |
| Truth is experiential. | |
| It's fluid. | |
| It's ever-changing. | |
| It cannot be officially established. | |
| No one can actually know truth. | |
| It might exist, but we don't know. | |
| And that's why it's anti-Bible. | |
| It's anti-Bible. | |
