Warfare Within 00:03:23
Why do the fallen angels in the Red Wing saga compete with one another?
You know, I think we all assume, at least I did as a kid, that the fallen realm, they're all on the same page.
They all get along.
Why would they?
They're all fallen.
They rebelled against God.
So why wouldn't they rebel against one another?
Right.
And in fact, is that why church people fight each other?
Sadly we do, but I think that if you look at the fallen realm's influence in the world, you'll see that the world fights with one another too.
I think that these princes of the individual nations are at war with one another.
They're trying to figure out who gets to be the king.
I got to say something right now that you go on with this because this is so important.
There's so many people in the family, church families, and in the families that have problems in their family.
And there's almost like a demon power has taken over some of your children and grandchildren.
And they become like devils.
And they curse you and they swear at you and they do all kinds of things.
And you don't understand it.
This is demonic.
Yes, it is.
This is what the last days the Bible talks about.
So am I not right?
You are so right.
You are so right.
You can't blame that child.
That child is a prisoner of war.
That's right.
And we have a warfare going on like never, ever before.
And that's why I love what you guys do.
We're bringing people a now education of what is going on biblically in the world.
And the interesting thing about this, though, is that it's really the education that the prophets and the apostles were teaching back 2,000 years ago is that along the way we've lost that idea.
There was a French author, Baudelaire, who wrote a line in a short story that was paraphrased in a movie you might have seen, the usual suspects in a secular film.
But anyway, the line is the greatest trick the devil ever pulled is convincing the world he didn't exist.
Well, he's done a really good job convincing American Christians that he doesn't exist.
And as we say in Giants, Gods and Dragons, if you don't believe that the enemy is real, then what's the point of the Bible?
It just becomes sort of a guidebook for living, and there are all kinds of bookstores are full of those.
But if Jesus is nothing more than a cosmic life coach, well, as Paul wrote, if our hope in Christ is in this life only, we are of all most to be pitied.
It's not about this life.
It's about the life that is to come.
And our mission is on this battlefield to hold our ground.
As Paul writes in Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 through 20, he uses the word stand four different times.
Stand, stand, stand, so that we can withstand the attacks of the enemy.
Our job is to hold our ground against the enemy.
We're surrounded.
That's good.
Like the famous Marine Corps General Chesse Puller said, this simplifies our problem.
Because the enemy is everywhere.
Yeah, that's right.
But our mission is to pull the wounded off the battlefield because so many of them, even those in the church, don't understand why they're broken, why their families are falling apart, because they don't understand the enemy is trying to destroy the family unit.
