Interpreting Gog and Magog

| Russia and Turkey play significant geopolitical roles and both have somewhat adversarial roles in relation to Israel. | |
| How then should we interpret the critical prophecy in Ezekiel 38 and 39 as it applies to Gog, Magog, and Israel? | |
| You know, that's a good question, Pastor, and it's a hard one to answer because, you know, whether it's Erdogan, who is the Islamist dictator, arguably, in Turkey today, who has every intention, if given the opportunity, to take over much of the Middle East, and he's making strides, thank you. | |
| Or, you know, is Gog, in the likes of Vladimir Putin, the president for life, and given what they've done to their constitution, that happens to reside in a place that some people say Magog is really in Russia today, and others say, no, Magog is in Turkey today. | |
| Well, honest people, people trying to understand this are going to disagree perhaps as to locations and how we come to those conclusions. | |
| However, what I do believe to be true is that there is a rising leader. | |
| Don't know if it's a Erdogan or a Putin or someone after them or someone that exists even today. | |
| And I don't know if it's necessarily going to come out of Turkey or if it's going to come out of the stands or perhaps Armenia or Georgia or Ukraine or even the motherland of Russia. | |
| It could be a host of places. | |
