What Then Shall We Say?
00:05:01
|
|
| I'm trying to tell you today, don't give up. | |
| Don't give up on the brink of a miracle. | |
| That's another song. | |
| I have all these songs that are 100 years old for me, you know, years old. | |
| And so, Romans 8, 28, this is for you. | |
| I'm telling all of you, we're going to make it. | |
| Amen. | |
| You're going to make it. | |
| You've got to get it in your mind. | |
| You're going to make it because I said hell's coming and hellish things are coming. | |
| But we're in the last days. | |
| We're in the last day. | |
| The curtain goes up in a few days for the last act of the stage play, which God calls from creation to Jesus coming back. | |
| Be prepared. | |
| Be ready. | |
| Have a positive mental attitude. | |
| Romans 8:28. | |
| And we know that all things work together for good. | |
| See, how can it work together for good? | |
| I'm telling you, God has worked so much out. | |
| My kids have helped with the show. | |
| And I've always dreamt that my kids would be a part of the show. | |
| I think I told you the other day that I'm tempted to name the show, rename the show, Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| And they have been a joy to me. | |
| They're with me all the time. | |
| At least five days a week. | |
| One of my children, and their grandchildren are here on the weekend. | |
| And so God is working all things together for good. | |
| For those who love God, those are called according to his purpose. | |
| So God's working together for good people. | |
| He said, oh, he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. | |
| Moreover, whom he predestined, these he also called. | |
| Whom he called, also he justified. | |
| And whom he justified, these he also glorified. | |
| What then shall we say to these things? | |
| If God is for us, who can be against us? | |
| He who did not spare his own son, but delivered him up for us all. | |
| How shall we not with him also freely give us all things? | |
| Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? | |
| It is God who justifies. | |
| Who is he who condemns? | |
| It is Christ who died. | |
| And furthermore, is also risen, who is ever at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us, who shall separate us from the love of Christ. | |
| Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? | |
| As it is written, for your sake we are killed all day long. | |
| We are counted as sheep for the slaughter. | |
| Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. | |
| For I am persuaded that neither death nor half-dead nor life, that was my ad there, nor principles, nor angels and principles, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor anything that shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. | |
| Amen. | |
| This scripture started on the 700 Club. | |
| I just talked to somebody on the phone that said, I watched you on the 700 Club. | |
| And we did the kids' show for eight years as well. | |
| But my theme verse since the beginning of the 700 club is Matthew 18 and 19. | |
