Restoration Winds Eye
00:03:02
|
|
| Um, you said that God is raising up a Joel II army. | |
| What do you mean by that? | |
| Well, in the second chapter of Joel, in particular, after the succession of the book of Joel, it begins with kind of like a rude awakening. | |
| The land is laid waste. | |
| People are made aware of just how wicked it got, and through that came repentance. | |
| So there was a revealing, and then there was repentance, then there was restoration. | |
| There was a time of rest toration. | |
| Rest is in there. | |
| It's kind of like seed time and harvest. | |
| People want to plant a seed and they want to harvest, but they forget there's time in between. | |
| And so there's the restoration, and that's a time of rest. | |
| And we are in the eye of the hurricane right now. | |
| We've already gone through the first wall of the hurricane. | |
| It's interesting. | |
| You keep alluding to the hurricane season we're coming into. | |
| But just like the hurricane, there's an eye of the hurricane. | |
| You go through the first wall, and then there's that quiet calm. | |
| And that's where we are prophetically. | |
| And in that time of rest, there's going to be restoration, a regaining of strength. | |
| This is where Jim is. | |
| This is where this ministry is. | |
| It's scary because there's been a holdup of finances for you all. | |
| And even in with Christians that aren't working right now, this is shut things down. | |
| But there's, but there's a time of rest. | |
| God calls us to rest from our own works and our striving to try and figure out and make things happen. | |
| But then out of that restoration comes revival. | |
| And so where we are right now is the restoration going into revival. | |
| And that's the encouraging part of this. | |
| And then after in Joel 2, at the end of Joel, and on Joel 2, that's when the Spirit of God is poured out. | |
| And that's the revival we're coming into. | |
| And after that, you go into the rest of Joel, and that's really Armageddon. | |
| It talks about, you know, that's where the end. | |
| So that's where we are. | |
| We are so close to this thing wrapping up. | |
| And that's the good news: you know, if you're living for this world, you're not going to take this as good news. | |
| We are not living here. | |
| We're just passing through. | |
| It's exciting to be living in the time, right? | |
| Right. | |
| And so, you know, I have so much on my heart for you all in this ministry, but those watching, God is at work. | |
| It might look dark. | |
| And in Isaiah 60, it says, Arise, shine, for thy light is come, for gross darkness shall cover the earth. | |
| But the kings, the Gentiles, shall come to your light and to your arising. | |
|
Forget the World

|
|
| And I just want to really, I want to stress as Brother Wilkerson, you know, he was so misunderstood as a man of doom and gloom. | |
| And I saw, I saw the hurt. | |
| I saw from the body of Christ. | |
| Forget the world, you know, it was the body like Jim that hurt. | |
