Release From The Past

| There is the power of the Spirit to release someone from the past, to bring them into the present, so now they are postured for their future. | |
| This is true for individuals, for families, for cities, for nations, because we have to get set free from the guilt, the shame, the positive, and even, as you use the word here, soul ties of other people towards us on what they think we should be doing. | |
| And that can border on witchcraft, manipulation, control. | |
| And we've got to get set free to be present because faith isn't in the past. | |
| Faith now is. | |
| And if we live in the past, we are not exercising faith, which is now. | |
| That's right. | |
| That is so good. | |
| So many people, as you're talking, I just feel like there's thousands and thousands even watching the show today that have these soul ties. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And these could be all kinds of things. | |
| You're tied to something that's bringing you down. | |
| Regrets of the past shouldn't be. | |
| Right. | |
| You know, Lori cries a lot, not now, but when I first married her, but she still occasionally, because she had five abortions, and we talk about it because it's a horrible thing. | |
| And she says, I miss my children. | |
| She's missing her children she never got to raise. | |
| But that, you know, had to be broken from her because she couldn't go on and live her life if she lived back there. | |
| That's right. | |
| Could you pray for people right now? | |

| Lord, we agree together in the name of Jesus. | |
| And even according to this testimony, and now we agree, we're calling on the name and the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| And we add the dimension of the now, Holy Spirit. | |
| And we speak over trauma in particular, trauma situations. | |
| And we're calling the anointing to break the yoke. | |

| Thank you. | |
| There are people that feel like they're locked in like a prison and prison cell and they just want to break out, but they're not getting the breakthrough. | |
| Well, we release a key to the prison door of forgiveness to yourself. | |
| Forgive yourself. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Forgive yourself. | |
| God has already forgiven you because you've already cried out. | |
| And so the issue is now release yourself in the name of Jesus. | |
| We release this word. | |
| Some of you, I see keys going into prison doors. | |
| And I say, now come on out. | |
| Come on out. | |
| Come on out. | |
| Walk out of trauma. | |
| Walk out of the overabundance of grief. | |
| Walk out of the shame and walk into the light of a new today in Jesus' name. | |
