| But the reason why the American church was so influential at one time was because of this headline. | |
| Read that statement, then we can. | |
| It's a paraphrase often attributed to Alexis D. Toqueville, a Frenchman who authored Democracy in America in the early 1800s. | |
| It helps introduce this video. | |
| I guess it's a video that I looked through America to find where our greatness originated. | |
| I looked for it in our harbors and on our shorelines, in our fertile fields and boundless prairies, and in our gold mines and vast world commerce. | |
| But it was not there. | |
| It was not until I went to the churches of America and heard our pulpits aflame with righteousness that I understand the secret of her success. | |
| America is great because she is good. | |
| And if America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great. | |
| And that is from the 1880s, 1800s. | |
| That is a prophecy that is being worked out at the moment in our country. | |
| The moment the church loses its voice, then calamity is upon us. | |
| I come from Great Britain. | |
| Scotland is part of the British Isles, the United Kingdom, Great Britain. | |
| That's the different words used for us. | |
| When I was a boy back in Scotland, in our classes, all of the pink, all the maps, all the pink parts, Australia, New Zealand, most of Africa, Canada, India, all of the pink parts were British. | |
| The British had a saying that the sun never set on the British Empire. | |
| The sun never went down on the British Empire. | |
| And our nation in its day was greater in wealth and power and people than America is in this day. | |
| The difference between then and now is this country was founded out of Great Britain, I believe, by men who sought religious freedom and who wanted this nation to be one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. | |
| And the separating fact of this country than any other is the fact that this nation has claimed God as our source. | |
| And what's happening today, we are looking at a secular government and secular people that hate, they hate the gospel more than they hate ISIS. | |

Political Correctness Silencing Preachers

| They hate the Christian gospel. | |
| They will let Islam do what it wants in Great Britain right now. | |
| The hate speech is stopping the preachers from preaching against the people that are bombing our cities and grooming our girls in grooming gangs of 20 and 30 that in one case over a thousand girls were groomed and raped by these men. | |
| And we cannot, the government has put a news blackout on the proceedings so no one knows about it. | |
| And all of this is going on because we have become so politically correct that we can only criticize Christians and no one else. | |
| And America is getting the same way. | |
| These jokers are now attacking the church and we're the freaks. | |
| And God help you if you try to tell them that they're not right. | |
| They will come at you with oaths and curses and blasphemy that you've never heard the like of in your life. | |
| You see, it isn't noise they're against. | |
| It's our kind of noise they're against. | |
| They don't want the cause of Christ raised up. | |
| They want us all to go away and be silent and be hidden in the corner and be shut up. | |
| And guys like Jim Baker just won't go away. | |
| He is an inconvenience for them that he sits here on this table and he talks about the truth. | |
| That's it. | |
| Not much wonder they hate him. | |
| But I get news for everyone that's watching. | |
| There are still 7,000 that haven't bowed the knee to bail in this country, that haven't given up our faith. | |
| And out there, I believe with all my heart that there's a tidal wave of people that have been sitting uninvolved, sitting back. | |
| Well, we Christians shouldn't talk about this kind of stuff. | |
| We shouldn't be political. | |
| Let me tell you something. | |
| If we don't fight for this country, we're going to lose it. | |
| And when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against them. | |
| And I want to ask you today in the audience and on TV, are you the standard that God is raising up in these last days? | |
