God's Strength at Our Weakness
00:05:20
|
|
| Whatever your circumstance is today, wherever you are at, you might be at the lowest point of your life. | |
| God is not finished with you yet, and it's time to rise up again and believe again and see God's glory revealed in you. | |
| The Bible says, listen to this, tremendous scripture, that God's strength needs an extra ingredient to make it perfect. | |
| Ever have those glues? | |
| You ever seen the glues? | |
| The guy with a hat that hung from the metal beam? | |
| Remember that old commercial? | |
| And it was like two syringes, and one side had one liquid in it, and the other had the other liquid. | |
| And you push them both together, and both of this inert liquids came together, and when they came together, they become this incredible glue. | |
| You ever that product? | |
| Well, God's love and God's strength is like that. | |
| The Bible says that God's strength is made perfect when you add one ingredient to it. | |
| And you know what that ingredient is? | |
| Weakness. | |
| My weakness. | |
| When I come to God at my weakest place, I put God in the position to be at his perfect strength. | |
| So if you're here today watching this program and you're literally scraped raw with your circumstance and you've no idea how it's going to work out and the devil is telling you all kinds of stuff, keeping you up at night and you're just, your family might be falling apart. | |
| God sent us here to tell you that your weakness is being added to the strength of heaven and God is about to arise in your life. | |
| And when God arises, the enemies of your life are going to be scattered in the name of Jesus. | |
| So be of good cheer. | |
| When we are weak, he is made strong. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| He needs our weakness. | |
| When you had your babies, those gorgeous twins, and I've now got six grandkids. | |
| In fact, Rowan is here somewhere. | |
| My little boy, if you're on my Facebook page, I've always got pictures of my minion. | |
| When he was born, his spine is a little bit out of shape and his eye was crossed in. | |
| And we thought he would have a problem with his brain. | |
| And this little thing that was lying there in the ICU, just fighting for his life, he was born on my birthday. | |
| And it was like God put him inside a place in my heart that I can't get over him. | |
| But the weakness of that wee boy opens something in my heart that I've never felt before. | |
| If he'd just been a regular kid, he was just another grandson. | |
| And I love all my grandkids with all my heart. | |
| Don't misunderstand it. | |
| But there's the weakness of that little boy. | |
| Brilliant, articulate, funny, the most loving little soul you've ever met. | |
| But the weakness that he had drew my heart towards him. | |
| How can God do that for us? | |
| How can God take broken people and make them whole again? | |
| Because everybody's broken. | |
| Everybody is broken. | |
| David is the king of Israel. | |
| He has passed tests that none of us could pass. | |
| He is slaying a bear and a lion. | |
| He has taken the strongest enemy they had, Goliath, and knocked him down and took his head off. | |
| He became such a legend of strength and power that even though he was the youngest of seven children, the least likely to be chosen, God chose him above everybody else. | |
| And the oil flowed and David became king. | |
| He is sitting in the palace one night, the great king of Israel. | |
| He's a praiser. | |
| He's a worshiper. | |
| He's done everything that we could ever dream of a guy. | |
| And he sees a woman having a bath on a rooftop. | |
| And he falls. | |
| The great king falls. | |
| Do you know what he did? | |
| He sent for her husband who he thought would sleep with her. | |
| And he could claim that the baby that she was pregnant with was her husband's. | |
| And the husband loved David so much that he lay across his doorstep and wouldn't go sleep with his wife. | |
| And he stayed with David. | |
| And David sent him back to the battlefield with a note. | |
| Give that to your captain. | |
| And he gave it. | |
| And what it was was, put this soldier in the most dense and hard part of the battle. | |
| And he had him killed. | |
| If that happened today, can you imagine what the news would say? | |
| Can you imagine the headlines? | |
| Guess who the baby was called? | |
| Solomon. | |
| God has a way of turning our mistakes into miracles. | |
| God knows that David said, you remember my frame, that I am but dust. | |

Day Opened to Encourage You
00:00:37
|
|
| I'm just, we're all struggling just to keep going and believing God for today and tomorrow. | |
| And I want to tell you something, that God is on your team, and he is cheering for you, and he's backing you up with angels around you, underneath you, his everlasting arms. | |
| And no weapon formed against you is going to prosper in the name of Jesus. | |
| So be encouraged today that this day, we didn't plan this, believe me, this day opened, this program opened to encourage you. | |
| Don't you dare think of quitting. | |
| The best is yet to come in the name of Jesus. | |
| Can you say amen? | |
