Israel's Unique Role
00:01:46
|
|
| Israel is key three. | |
| Why is Israel key three? | |
| Well, it's God's choice. | |
| It's God's nation. | |
| There's almost 200 countries in the world, but there is one that is unique in its role above all else. | |
| And we are going to be blessed to the same extent we bless Israel. | |
| We're going to be cursed to the same extent we curse Israel. | |
| And so as David and I wrote the book, we saw very quickly that one of the major factors that brings blessing on this nation is the fact of our blessing Israel. | |
| Now, the good news is the president has moved the ball down the court a long way on this issue. | |
| We were privileged to attend the embassy opening in Jerusalem. | |
| And my wife's been there 66 times, so this is cool news for her to be there. | |
| But the people were literally giddy and dancing in the streets. | |
| And we were privileged to, a dozen of us, meet in a private meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu on the closing of that. | |
| And he is encouraging us. | |
| Some of us serve on what has been called the Trump Faith Advisory Board. | |
| It now has a new name at this point in time. | |
| We don't represent the president. | |
| We're not sent by the president. | |
| We want to use whatever leverage we can as faith leaders to encourage nations to become not goat nations, but sheep nations and move their embassy to Jerusalem. | |
| The United States obviously did. | |
| Guatemala followed, and Guatemala was the second country 70 years ago that affirmed Israel's existence right after Harry Truman did in 1948. | |
| So they followed again courageously. | |
| President Jimmy Morales, a courageous man, and he's taken tremendous heat. | |
| Paraguay did, and then moved it back to Tel Aviv, unfortunately. | |
