I See the Storm 00:03:11
The Last Days of America.
That's a shocking title for your book.
Could you explain what this means, the vision you had about America and the church?
Let me, can I start by just sharing the vision really quickly with you so that you have to understand.
So I had this dream that I was preaching about America dying on the threshold of the church.
I then, on the heels of that, have this open vision.
I was sitting on my couch.
I'm looking at my television set, and I see a storm.
A newscaster comes on, and he's basically saying, we've got an emergency going on in the country.
He said, there is an unprecedented storm.
And they show a picture, and the storm looks like a hurricane.
Now, I'm living in Louisiana.
It's on the hills of Katrina.
I'm very familiar with what a hurricane is.
It looks like a hurricane.
But what was interesting is it was a hurricane that stretched all the way from the northern border to the southern border.
And it was moving right down the heart of America.
It was coming all the way across America.
It was going west to east, all the way across America.
The eye was over the center of America, the heartbeat of America.
And the reporter said, this is the most unusual storm.
He said, because it looks like a hurricane, and most of the time this forms in the ocean will come upon land.
He said, but this one has formed on land and is spreading from ocean to ocean.
He said, we have a correspondent that's in the storm, in the eye of the storm, and you've seen hurricane reporters.
And all of a sudden, the picture changes on the television.
And there's a man who's standing there in rain gear, and he's being tossed about by the wind.
He's got a microphone.
He said, this is the most unusual storm I've ever seen.
And there's stuff swirling around his head.
And he reaches down and he picks up, and he has in his hand $100 bills.
He says, this is a storm of money.
About that time, I go back to the reporter, and he says, there has been another tragedy that's happening right now in America, another crisis.
And all of a sudden, I see on my television, I'm trying to shorten this up.
All this is in the book.
I see on my television screen riots, fires burning in cities all across America, riots going on in America.
I saw people holding signs.
One of the signs that really stood out to me was a sign with big red letters that said, I want my entitlements.
I never will forget that.
And I mean, and you've got to think, I think this is live.
I think this is really happening.
So I'm terrified at the moment.
I'm trying to think, what do I need to do to save my family?
What do I need to do to save my church?
How are we going to do ministry?
All of this stuff is running through my mind.
And I see people, I see a earthquake happen on the New Madrid fault line.
And it runs down the center of America and it divides America from the north to the south.
Divided Nationispersian Gulf 00:03:04
Somebody asked me, said, do you believe it was a literal physical earthquake?
I said, no, I don't know that.
But I said, I tell you what I felt.
I felt like it was going to be a major division like North versus South racial divide.
Now, my daughter-in-law is African-American, so my son is married to an African-American girl.
That's a very serious deal to me.
My grandson is mixed, so that's a big deal to me.
And I said, whatever is going to happen with the races that's going to divide the nation is going to happen close to the New Madrid fault line.
Wow.
And I said, but it won't stop there.
It's going to spread all across the nation.
About that time, I heard a voice behind me in my ear that said, they divided my land.
Now I will divide theirs.
And I knew it was the voice of God.
And like Ezekiel, the prophet was picked up and snatched up.
All of a sudden, I was snatched up.
Of course, it wasn't by the hair of my head.
But I was snatched up somehow.
It must have been by the nap of my neck.
I was snatched up and immediately I was set down in this beautiful building in the Middle East.
And I was like a fly on the wall sitting in this room and world leaders had gathered together and sitting at the head of the table was Putin, the Russian leader.
And these leaders were gathered together and they were discussing the fall of America.
Wow.
Wow.
And I sat there and listened to them discuss the fall of America.
And the next thing I know, I hit my body like this.
And when I looked at the television, the television, the news was back on the regular programming.
I immediately knew that I had this visitation from the Lord.
I stayed up all night.
I wept.
I cried.
And then the Lord spoke to me and said, I'm going to give you an opportunity.
And you're supposed to warn the nation.
And I begged God.
I said, God, please, please, I'm known as a preacher of hope.
Please don't send me out to preach this message of the judgment of God upon America.
Please don't do this.
And the next morning, I got a phone call, and it was Jesse DePlanis.
And he said, Shane, he said, you're not going to believe this, but I had a different guest scheduled.
But he said, I'm going to be doing a show on a national network.
And he said, God told me to have you.
He's shown you something about America, and you're supposed to come to tell the nation.
Praise God.
I said, oh, God, please.
Amen.
And that's how all of this started.
Wow.
And so I believe all of the racial divide that we've seen.
I believe the political divide that we've seen.
Literally all of it happening along the Numadrid fault line.
I know right now the economy is good.
But the economy's in trouble.
And I'm going to go on record of saying that.
So in 2013, 14, when I shared this for the first time, everybody and their brothers started calling me a false prophet and demonizing me.
