Prayers for Healing 00:02:44
The scriptures on healing.
I really wanted to read a couple today.
Great.
Because they are so plain and clear.
You know, you can go all the way back to Isaiah.
And in Isaiah, you're finding all about what Christ did on the cross before he did it.
Yes.
That's supernatural.
That's the kind of gospel we have.
But it says he was despised and rejected by men.
Jesus was, a man of sorrow and familiar with suffering, like one from whom men hid their face.
He was despised and we esteemed him not.
Surely he took upon our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we consider him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions.
That means our sin.
And that's why we are set free tonight, today, this morning, whenever you're watching.
He was pierced for our transgressions.
He was crushed for our iniquities, for our sins.
The punishment that brought us peace was upon him.
And by his wounds, we are healed.
Amen.
Oh, I'm hearing this modern generation talk about how the Bible's not true, how healing's not real, how everything about God is fake and phony.
And yet they believe in all the other horrible things that are not true.
And let's jump up into the New Testament, who, in 1 Peter 2, 24, who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, the cross, that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.
That's the power of the gospel.
And I pray for you right now.
I pray for your needs.
You pray for those that are sick, those that need a touch of God.
From your head to your toes, I pray for every part of you to be healed today.
God, you have brought our family through the valleys of the shadow of death.
And God, we give you the glory and the honor today.
We thank you, God.
