Revival and the 144,000
00:03:14
|
|
| I spent a few years in prison studying the Revelation word by word by word. | |
| And you know what? | |
| I come out of prison and find out that Dr. Baxter believes everything I do. | |
| I don't know who he was talking to, but he must have been talking to the same God that was talking to me in the prison. | |
| Because it's just amazing. | |
| And people think we're going to get raptured out here. | |
| And the only reason I'm scared about that, because I just want you to be saved. | |
| But the reason I'm worried about it is people are going to be so mad at their preachers when they get into this. | |
| And they're going to say, why did you lie to us? | |
| Do you feel that? | |
| Well, I think some of them will. | |
| Now, the big thing is, what should we be doing right now? | |
| Should we be gearing up to disappear? | |
| Or should we be gearing up for the greatest revival the world has ever known? | |
| Now, to me, that's the right here. | |
| Look at this is Dr. Baxter's chart. | |
| The world's greatest revival just ahead. | |
| That whole messy period you don't want to talk about from here, from here to eternity, from here to now. | |
| This is the great revival. | |
| You know, Jim, I think we ought to quote a scripture right now because it's one thing for you and me to say that. | |
| It's another thing to be able to go to the scripture. | |
| I was reading Revelation chapter 7 a year or so ago, and I was reading about the 144,000. | |
| That's verse 1 through 8 of chapter 7. | |
| But I noticed it kept going. | |
| Now, the 144,000, 12,000 out of each tribe, and all of them will be a part of the church because the Bible says they're redeemed. | |
| And they sing the song of Moses and the Lamb. | |
| But then you get to verse 9, and it says, after this, listen close. | |
| After this, I saw a great multitude that no man could number out of every kindred, every people, every nation, every tongue. | |
| And the elder said to John, John, what are these? | |
| John said, I don't have a clue. | |
| You tell me. | |
| And in verse number 13 and 14, the elder said, these are they that have come out of great tribulation. | |
| They've washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. | |
| You know, growing up, I heard these people preach about these two witnesses. | |
| I thought, okay, the two witnesses, they're just coming here to pester the Antichrist. | |
| They're going to stick their thumb in the Antichrist's eye and just drive him crazy. | |
| But that's foolish. | |
| They're coming here for revival. | |
| The two greatest preachers since Peter and Paul are going to be having great revival. | |
| And the revival is recorded in Revelation 7, verse number 13 and 14. | |
| This is a great multitude that no man could number out of every kindred, every people, every nation. | |
| And why is there a Jewish revival and a Gentile revival all together there? | |
| Because the early church, they had a Jewish and a Gentile church mixed together. | |
| They had great Gentiles, great Jewish church. | |
| They were all cooperating together. | |
| So God started the church age that way. | |
| He's going to finish the church age that way. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| Boy, it's exciting, people. | |
