Jim Bakker Show - Understanding Where We Are - Dr. Irvin Baxter on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2018-03-19 Duration: 03:14 === Revival and the 144,000 (03:14) === [00:00:00] I spent a few years in prison studying the Revelation word by word by word. [00:00:07] And you know what? [00:00:09] I come out of prison and find out that Dr. Baxter believes everything I do. [00:00:14] I don't know who he was talking to, but he must have been talking to the same God that was talking to me in the prison. [00:00:20] Because it's just amazing. [00:00:22] And people think we're going to get raptured out here. [00:00:26] And the only reason I'm scared about that, because I just want you to be saved. [00:00:32] But the reason I'm worried about it is people are going to be so mad at their preachers when they get into this. [00:00:41] And they're going to say, why did you lie to us? [00:00:45] Do you feel that? [00:00:46] Well, I think some of them will. [00:00:48] Now, the big thing is, what should we be doing right now? [00:00:54] Should we be gearing up to disappear? [00:00:57] Or should we be gearing up for the greatest revival the world has ever known? [00:01:01] Now, to me, that's the right here. [00:01:03] Look at this is Dr. Baxter's chart. [00:01:06] The world's greatest revival just ahead. [00:01:09] That whole messy period you don't want to talk about from here, from here to eternity, from here to now. [00:01:17] This is the great revival. [00:01:20] You know, Jim, I think we ought to quote a scripture right now because it's one thing for you and me to say that. [00:01:26] It's another thing to be able to go to the scripture. [00:01:28] I was reading Revelation chapter 7 a year or so ago, and I was reading about the 144,000. [00:01:34] That's verse 1 through 8 of chapter 7. [00:01:37] But I noticed it kept going. [00:01:39] Now, the 144,000, 12,000 out of each tribe, and all of them will be a part of the church because the Bible says they're redeemed. [00:01:46] And they sing the song of Moses and the Lamb. [00:01:48] But then you get to verse 9, and it says, after this, listen close. [00:01:52] After this, I saw a great multitude that no man could number out of every kindred, every people, every nation, every tongue. [00:02:02] And the elder said to John, John, what are these? [00:02:06] John said, I don't have a clue. [00:02:08] You tell me. [00:02:09] And in verse number 13 and 14, the elder said, these are they that have come out of great tribulation. [00:02:17] They've washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. [00:02:21] You know, growing up, I heard these people preach about these two witnesses. [00:02:25] I thought, okay, the two witnesses, they're just coming here to pester the Antichrist. [00:02:29] They're going to stick their thumb in the Antichrist's eye and just drive him crazy. [00:02:33] But that's foolish. [00:02:35] They're coming here for revival. [00:02:36] The two greatest preachers since Peter and Paul are going to be having great revival. [00:02:40] And the revival is recorded in Revelation 7, verse number 13 and 14. [00:02:47] This is a great multitude that no man could number out of every kindred, every people, every nation. [00:02:52] And why is there a Jewish revival and a Gentile revival all together there? [00:02:58] Because the early church, they had a Jewish and a Gentile church mixed together. [00:03:02] They had great Gentiles, great Jewish church. [00:03:05] They were all cooperating together. [00:03:07] So God started the church age that way. [00:03:09] He's going to finish the church age that way. [00:03:11] Amen. [00:03:11] Amen. [00:03:12] Boy, it's exciting, people.
