Support for the President 00:15:36
Hi everybody and welcome to Revelation in the News.
I'm your host Ricky Baker.
2 Corinthians 10 3 through 5 says, though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into the captivity to the obedience of Christ.
I love that because we have the victory already.
We don't war against the flesh.
We war in the spirit realm.
And in the spirit realm, every victory has already been won for us.
So all we have to do is take those thoughts into captivity.
Though we war in the spirit realm, there is war in the physical that seems to be brewing up.
And right now, North Korea seems to be a big problem, John.
Yes, North Korea is consistently aggravating for war.
How exactly have they gotten nuclear weapons?
Now, John, I want to ask you that question.
You know, they were saying that it's going to be many years before North Korea has these capabilities.
And now they have these capabilities.
John, how did North Korea acquire nuclear weapons?
Matter of fact, the New York Times has brought forth a really interesting investigation into North Korea.
A matter of fact, when Ukraine separated from Russia, all of a sudden, Ukraine actually was developing missiles for Russia.
They were developing their most sophisticated missiles.
And so when they split, there is a missile facility going without work.
So they probably went to the highest bidder.
A matter of fact, it was saying that North Korea, there's two possible ways because six years ago, they're actually found by the UN to be trying to steal the secrets from this facility.
The only other possible solution is that it was sold on the black market because this company has specifically had a lull in production.
So they're probably looking for money.
Now, nuclear weapons aren't something that just, you know, you happen to stumble upon.
They have to be created in a certain facility under certain temperatures in certain environments.
So, John, who would have sold North Korea a nuclear weapon on the black market?
Well, that's what we're saying is they've been looking at the design plans and what they've been trying to get a hold of is directly to what Ukraine actually had in their facilities.
So it had to come from Ukraine.
Okay.
Now, we've recently known that Iran has been able to create these nuclear weapons right now.
Yes, matter of fact, I'm glad you brought that up.
You know, I know we see constantly in the news, Kim is always running his mouth.
He's always talking big, and it's like the small man fighting syndrome.
Yes, you know, the guy who's got his friends behind him, he's trying to make a big deal, and he's talking a big game.
So they usually do not show up to a fight alone.
So you brought up Iran, and right now, North Korea and Iran have both popping up within weeks of each other, having the capability of nuclear weapons.
Now, Iran actually is building a facility where they can enrich uranium.
And their city halls are chanting death to America.
I say, you've seen those two things collate, the nuclear weapon being built, and then their own government yelling death to America.
Yeah, and what we're doing right now is we want to take a step back and look at what's going on in the news worldwide because most people get like this 10-minute perspective of the news.
You know, Donald Trump, he said this, he tweeted that, and people aren't happy.
They're even saying that his voters at some point are going to go against him.
You know, you got to ask, with everything going on in the world, is this a coincidence?
Well, that's what we want to do.
So.
Now, John, you just made a very bold statement.
You said that there are bets going on that his voters are going to go against him.
What do you mean bets?
Well, let me get to that in just a second.
Okay.
Because China right now is loading up their borders.
They're loading it up with troops and interpreters to be able to interpret the people that are running out of North Korea.
Because everybody knows that there is a war coming.
And a matter of fact, speaking about war, there's an economic war that the U.S. and China are right now engaged in.
Because right now, China has major assets with North Korea, and the U.S. is putting sanctions against them.
And the more China doesn't get involved and the more they don't do, the harder Trump is coming at them.
And it's not making a peaceful situation.
We've been having this game, this kind of game with China lately.
It's like back and forth.
Are you going to be with us and help us?
Or are you going to do nothing?
Or are you going to even maybe even help North Korea?
Where is your stance in all this?
And at some point, China is going to have to take a stand for someone.
That's right.
That's right.
Well, China did make a very bold statement and said that if we were to strike North Korea first, that they would not remain neutral.
Now, before we move on, John, I want to ask you about the Iran nuclear deal.
Yeah.
The Iran nuclear deal, what we're seeing is it doesn't matter the sanctions about what the UN or the U.S. does.
Right now, they're honestly giving the United States the finger.
They don't care.
They're going to do what they're going to do with the enriching uranium and developing nuclear missiles with or without our support.
Without the world power support, they're going to move forward.
And they've even invested like some $500 million into pushing this even further and forward.
The Jerusalem Post even put up that within five days, they could be producing five days enriched uranium.
Wow.
Now, what that means for a lot of countries who don't have nuclear weapons, if they can create this enriched uranium, they can distribute this enriched uranium, which is an absolutely scary thing when it comes from a country that chants death to America.
So let me hang on this for a quick second.
You know, we've been seeing in the news and discussing that Iran is also sending warships to the Atlantic.
Wow.
And they've been challenging the U.S. Navy.
So there is definitely something going on here that I think the whole world needs to be paying attention to.
And just the facts on the uranium and enrichment, it should be causing alarm for the world right now.
Absolutely.
You know, you just mentioned our United States military.
And, you know, there's a lot of things happening around the world, but there's a lot of things happening here, even in our own United States.
I mean, we're talking the Charlottesville riots, Baltimore, New York City, Chicago, St. Louis, places like this are going crazy right now.
It seems like there is a horrible racial divide, lots of tension in our country that is causing us to almost break down from the inside out.
That's right.
I mean, we're seeing this all happening within weeks, moments of each other.
You turn the news off, you turn it on the next morning, there's another riot going on.
A matter of fact, you know, during these riots, monuments are being torn down, crosses are being removed.
You know, we're just living in a state of upheaval right now.
I was saying that, hey, okay, you know what?
I understand, you know, in the plan for the statues, I understand, okay?
You're angry about a statue, vote for it, take care of it.
But what I don't understand is that I was telling this to you earlier in the office.
If I was there, I have a goal.
We want the statues to come down.
There's the goal.
When they reach the goal, there's no goal for them.
There's something next.
There's something always more that they want to do.
But so what happens, you get this group that is more of a warring group than even a group that actually wants to get things done.
When you want to get things done, you get it done, you stop, you figure out something that might be actually hardening to somebody, but with this, they just keep going.
And there's no stopping.
It's total pentimonium.
That's right.
And that's the thing is when you have no goal, you want more.
You want more.
You want more.
That's what you'll never stop until you get what you want.
And if you have no goal, you want everything.
The more power you get, the more you want.
Exactly.
They're power hungry.
There's groups like this.
And I will say it, I believe that Antifa is a terrorist organization.
They're internal bred.
They're a terrorist organization by what they do.
I mean, but what I'm saying is whenever you get a group like that who is almost bloodthirsty, they go out there.
I mean, when you go out with clubs and bats, and this is whether you're white, black, Mexican, Asian, I don't care what race you are, but if you go out there with weapons and you go out there and you look like you're ready for a fight and you're willing to fight and you're willing to burn things down, you're willing to burn your own communities down to prove a point.
At that point, you are no longer a friend of the United States, but you're a terrorist of the United States.
Here's what I don't like.
I don't like the situation because we're seeing this.
And I feel like they're honestly trying to push everybody to an extremist group or the other extremist group.
You know, those extremist groups only represent 1%, which neither group do I agree with.
Neither group do I feel like represents the United States.
But when you look at, when you're an outsider looking in, and this is all you see consistently in the news, I mean, honestly, when I wake up in the morning, I turn the news on, I'm almost expecting to see this.
I'm almost expecting to see something else just took place, another riot, another battle in the street for whatever city.
But we're seeing it constantly all over the place.
So what I'm saying is when you're on the outside looking in, that's the impression you get of the United States is the 1% represents everybody.
But what do you do when you have people like George Soros who are not American, but they have enough money to fund organizations?
George Soros is the type of man that would pay the KKK and pay Antifa to meet up at one place and fight because all he wants to see is the United States of America destroyed.
Ask me that question in just a second because I actually have a lot more to say on that because he actually does come back into our script here.
So we're also seeing upheaval in the government.
You know, have you ever seen a time in your guys' lives where Republicans, Democrats don't like the president?
I mean, the Senate majority leader can't, he went out and he said he can't work with the president.
I'm like, well, this guy needs to be out of office.
To me, it seems like, you know, it's like, no matter how you feel towards the president in any kind of sense, is that you can sense something weird's going on because he was voted for.
He was voted in.
Okay.
Let's do a fact.
He was voted in.
So what is going on that all these groups now are against him?
They're scared that he's not a career politician.
He's not going to be led by a leash.
And bringing up the president, I do want to say something.
We are, you know, we do have opinions on this show, and this show is our opinions.
This isn't, we do bring the facts.
We make sure everything we say is correct before we bring it.
We do a lot of research for this show.
We want to say we do love the president of the United States.
Just because there was a mistake made or we felt like there was a mistake made doesn't mean that we're angry with the president or that we don't support him anymore.
We do support the president of the United States.
We continue to pray for the president of the United States and for his guidance and for his wisdom.
Absolutely.
Yeah, I think like Esther said last week, it is the citizens' job to call out the government when the government isn't doing what they're supposed to be doing.
It is our job as Americans.
If there's something that we do not agree with, we are supposed to vocally say something about it.
You're supposed to go to your senators and you're supposed to respectfully approach the problem.
But what we're seeing right now is nobody likes Trump.
They call him a Republican, but Republicans don't like him.
So what we're seeing really is an independent president who doesn't have the support of either party, and he can't, he's having the world's hardest time getting anything done.
Absolutely.
So right now we're seeing the Hill just put out an article.
It says, American banks do not support Trump, and soon neither will the voters.
Now, John, did I hear you say something about them actually having a bet against Donald Trump?
Yes, a matter of fact in the article, they're even saying that Las Vegas is running a bet that he will not be in office by the end of the year.
These are our major banks of America.
Major banks.
We have our major banks of America gambling against our president.
World banks.
Yeah, I think it's more of a thing of, I think it's less of a thing of we don't like him or whatever, but it's like whether or not you like him, just like James said.
It's a lack of respect thing that we're dealing with because you cannot like somebody but still respect them because of the position that they're in.
Absolutely.
You don't have to agree with everything he does, but he does deserve the respect because of his position.
Absolutely.
And the thing is, we vote the government officials in, and we don't serve them at that point.
They serve us.
That is exactly what their job is to do.
Whenever he signed up to become the president of the United States, he knew this would come with it.
Now, I don't like the fact that people attack him as much as they do.
I don't like the fact that he's disrespected like he is.
But the thing is, I think whenever he got into this position, he knew that this type of thing would happen.
Well, do you guys remember what Scaramucci said?
Now, Scaramucci, he was recently fired or let go from his job because of some comments that were made.
Yeah.
And it was totally called for and it was necessary.
But Trump got, you know, berated over that.
But the thing that he honestly came out and said in one of his very first interviews is that there are elements within Washington and the White House that are not going to work with Trump.
They're not going to work with president.
And the reason is, is he's an outsider and he threatens everything that these people really are honestly about.
He threatens every agenda that goes against the United States because he actually wants to see the United States succeed.
So he threatens their agenda.
And when someone comes in and threatens them, of course, I mean, day one, they were talking about impeachment before he won.
Yeah, this wasn't last week.
No.
This wasn't just because he made a comment.
This wasn't after Charlotte.
He was elected.
This was the very first day he was elected.
They wanted him out of office.
Absolutely.
So this isn't just a plan that has been developing within the last two, three weeks because of comments made or tweets made, which I understand.
He could be a whole lot wiser as to what he says and how he says it.
But the fact is, this is nothing new.
It was a plan from the beginning.
Now, John, is this true that there are ranking Democratic officials that actually want to impeach him over the comments he made about Charlottesville?
Yeah.
They want to impeach him for the comments.
So what's going on right now is you got these groups that are now collecting offensive things that Trump has done, and they're putting it in their little binders and folders and saying this is how we're going to get him out of office because he's not mentally fit.
Now, you know what?
The Democratic Party is absolutely the most hypocritical party in the entire, I mean, out of the Green Party, the Libertarians, they're absolutely the most hypocritical because they can hold up President Donald Trump's head cut off.
They can call for his assassination on Facebook.
They can call for his assassination wherever they want to.
But the minute Donald Trump says something that isn't correct, no more freedom of speech for him.
He needs to be shut up.
Well, hey, you just brought up freedom of speech.
This is the, I can't even believe this.
People are out there championing calling him a fascist president, which is total BS because these are people that obviously do not know the meaning of a fascist.
Pull Out Your Phone 00:02:57
Absolutely not.
No, no, no.
Because these are also people that are claiming hate speech.
You don't have the right to say what you think you ought to say.
Meanwhile, the president who's trying to run the country is saying, we want more government to control speech.
So in one moment, they want more government.
In another moment, they don't want to hear what you got to say.
Absolutely.
Well, the thing is, when it comes to groups like that, they're power hungry.
So it'll get to the point where we completely agree with you having free speech unless it goes against anything that we preach.
Which, as a matter of fact, Sasha Volts just sent me an email, and she had this video of a friend of hers going to San Francisco, joining a, there was a Republican or right-wing rally there.
And basically what he's saying is in California, in San Francisco, if you're a conservative, you're going to be painted as a bigot.
You're going to be painted as a neo-Nazi.
And that's the thing that's constantly in the news is that just because you have a conservative approach and opinion, you're automatically being shoved to one side, which is totally not true.
You know, it's broken my heart recently that one of our Missouri state senators has called for the assassination of Donald Trump.
And yes, it was on her personal Facebook page.
Personal or not, when you're put into a position of that, there really is no longer a personal Facebook page because people look up to you to represent them.
And the fact that she called for his assassination is absolutely horrifying.
Yeah, there is a petition going around to get her out of office.
And honestly, they asked her after she made those statements, and she did say she has no intention of stepping down.
Well, you know what?
I say that our governor, Governor Eric Grindens, which I think is an amazing governor.
Thank you so much for wanting to serve the state of Missouri.
I believe that he needs to do everything he can to have her relieved of her position.
So let me bring this up.
We have airlines right now that are constantly, every time you guys look on the news, if it's not, I mean, if it's not a Trump tweet, you're honestly seeing airlines kicking people off of flights.
Now, I want to know, you guys can write us our audience.
Do you feel like this is honestly just because people now have cell phones with video capabilities that we're finding out about this?
Or is this, is there, what is going on?
Well, you know, we have this new generation of what I like to call cell phone warriors.
Any moment something happens, any moment that they're upset with something, they will pull out their phones.
They will video everything, which I don't think is wrong.
Pull out your phone if there's a hostile situation, if there's a situation with a police officer, there's a situation with a friend that's not going right.
Pull out your phone, record it.
But we have people pulling out their phones and recording police officers, people on airplanes, but they're attacking the people behind them.
Blanket Confusion Effort 00:03:09
They'll say like, why are you doing this?
And they'll start just berating the other person, trying to get a negative reaction so they can cut it and make it look like that person was just yelling at them the entire time.
And that's what I mean by cell phone warriors.
We have that happening.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, honestly, I mean, what I'm seeing here, like, again, taking a step back, is I feel like that there's this effort to make everybody as uncomfortable as possible, to make them as upset as possibly can be, to where people are going to be begging for a new president.
They're going to be begging for somebody to lead them that will tell them what they want to hear.
Yeah, absolutely.
No, my thing is, do you think that it's coincidence that we're seeing utter chaos in the United States?
Almost what seems to be a blanket of confusion laying on the United States right as the moment as, you know, countries like North Korea are threatening to bomb us.
John, are we ready if North Korea were to bomb us?
I mean, we're in such a divide right now.
Would we be able to handle something?
And that's the thing is, is right now, I've never seen in my lifetime, which hasn't been that long compared to some, but I've never thought that we would be implementing missile defense systems here in the United States due to threats from lesser countries.
Last time we were building those things was whenever it was like the Cold War.
And we were building the Star Wars program.
Roman Reagan.
Yeah, and now we're back to that again where the program, we're going to be making these programs, maybe space programs to take out missiles.
And so it's like, even though that feels comfortable and it's good, you know, it's scary that we're at that point right now.
Which, you know, that just brought up a reminder is Vincent Peter Pry has been warning the government, he's been trying to get the word out that we do need to prepare, that they're, you know, you brought up the Star Wars system, and I know he's even said we need to look back into that, we need to bring that back.
Due to the threat of EMP over the United States, with all of these countries developing nuclear weapons that probably should not have nuclear weapons.
That's definitely going to threaten the safety and assets of the United States because they're screaming to America.
Like I said, there is what seems to be a blanket of confusion on the United States, and it's even starting as young as children's programs.
I mean, there's a show, what is it?
Is it called Doc McStuffins?
Yeah.
That is pretty much what it – tell us a little bit about Doc McStuffins.
I'm not well versed in it.
Well, Doc McStuffins is a, it's a children's TV show, and I know my son oftentimes watches it and my niece and all.
But it's just been shocking to hear, you know, their approach and things that they're wanting to put in it as far as basically the gay agenda.
So it's a pro-gay cartoon?
Not originally, but now they're starting to put characters affirming a lifestyle.
Government And Big Tech's Silence 00:04:18
I mean, we see things like this, and it seems like almost like a conservative parent can no longer raise a conservative child in their home.
It seems like the government and even our major corporations like Disney are wanting to take things like that and remove it.
That way everyone has to have the same opinion, which would be more of a liberal opinion.
And there's nothing wrong with the more liberal opinion, but whenever it's forced upon somebody, whenever a parent can't raise their child how they're supposed to, then it's wrong.
And actually, there are companies that are trying to snuff out conservative opinions.
Yeah, one thing, you know, my beliefs, I believe that any person should be free and to a point of non-hate speech should be able to say what they want to say.
Absolutely.
So the Google working with liberal groups to snuff out conservative websites, the documenting hate news index built by Google News Lab data, Visualization Studio, Pitch Interactive, and ProPublica is taking a raw feed of Google News articles from the past six months to use in a Google Cloud natural language API to create a visual tool, here you go,
to help reporters to find news across the country.
It's funded by a stable of Uber liberal donors, including George Soros' Open Society Foundation.
Why does he keep popping up when it comes down to events in the United States?
Because there is nothing more George Soros would love than in his lifetime to see America absolutely destroy itself.
Hey, and you know, a weapon, you know, nukes are great, but you know what?
But what weapons even better is information.
Absolutely.
And Google, in a sense, is almost every person on this planet's information.
Well, they are the mecca of information.
And I'm not everything.
Yeah, once again, I'm not bashing Google, but to have something like this, Google is like, is like something that needs to just present the information and you take it helpful.
Google should have no bias.
The thing is, we love Google.
We Google news.
We're always looking at news on Google.
We're always Googling things.
We love Google.
But the thing is, when it comes to a point where they want to shut up a certain voice over another voice, it's wrong.
Now, if they have websites that are like jihadists talking about death to America with plans to destroy America, how to build bombs, thank you for filtering those things out because they have shut websites like that down.
But when it's a conservative voice that isn't calling for death, but they just have a completely different view, that shouldn't be shut down.
Even if it's a view such as Antifa or something like that, if they're not calling for violence on those websites, then don't shut them down because that's not right.
Yeah, hey, right now they're blocking Nazi sites, and that's good.
Yes.
Because the Nazis are calling for the death of anyone who is not white.
So once that it gets to that, once it comes to hate speech and threats, like that.
Then it should be shut down.
Absolutely.
I agree with that.
But here's a question.
If they have the right to shut down, like PayPal is now banning Jihad Watch and cites the director Robert Spencer from accepting online donation.
What makes you think that they can't come after you?
It makes you think that we're not next.
In the Jihad Watch, the Jihad Watch really all it is is things about if you see something that is scary or something's going on that you know that seems like bad activity, then you, you know, tell the information.
The issue is with the San Bernardino shooting that happened here in the United States in California.
Everyone said, you know, there was something just off about the people who were shooting.
There was something a little bit weird about them.
We always noticed that they weren't, you know, all there.
They would make comments like they knew something was wrong, but everyone was scared to say something because they didn't want to be labeled a xenophobe or like they hated anyone of color.
They didn't want to seem like a racist.
So what do we do in a country that we see an issue?
You know, I see someone walking down the street, they're carrying a gun, but I'm too scared myself to call the officials because I would not want to be labeled a racist.
What do you do in a country that is like that where you see a problem, but you're not allowed to address it because you're a bigot if you do?
Forgive Today, Call It Out 00:08:02
Yeah, you got, really, you got to, I mean, with me, I stay, I do everything in love and grace, but you're vigilant.
Things like, once again, for my family and for anyone part of my family or my friends, I want to make sure they're safe.
And so, you know, if I see someone doing some questionable activity that I know, you know, first of all, you got to have intelligence to know if a normal Muslim person is walking down the street, that's fine.
Don't be crazy.
If they are waving a gun around and saying, you know, or if they're chanting death to America.
Then it's a problem.
But, you know, the thing is, is both sides.
Don't be calm if it's just a normal person just walking down the street.
But if you see something going on and something's happening, call it out.
Absolutely.
Well, you know, as we're trying to wrap up the show, there is something that I recently read by George Orwell in 1984.
He says, every record has been destroyed or falsified.
Every book rewritten.
Every picture has been repainted.
Every statue and street building has been renamed.
Every date has been altered and the process to continuing day by day and minute by minute.
History has stopped.
Nothing exists except endless present in which the party is always right.
Now, does that sound like where we're at?
Yeah, it does.
And John, do you think that's a coincidence?
You know, I don't think any of this is a coincidence.
I think it's a sign of the times.
You know, and I know the word of God has a lot to say about these times that we're living in.
Yeah, actually, specifically Romans 1, 28, and a few verses there actually say something about it.
It says, since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do the things that should never be done.
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
They're backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful.
They invented new ways of sinning and they disobeyed their parents.
They refuse to understand.
They break their promises and are heartless and have no mercy.
They know God's justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyways.
Worse yet, they encourage others to do them too.
Does that not sound like today in 2017?
So my question is, you know, we've made huge statements in trying to bring your intention in on the global aspect of really what's going on because it's not just affecting the United States and America today.
But how can we get our hope back?
How can we get back on track?
That's really what we want to say today.
I think we can get it back on track by just accepting humility, accepting the fact that maybe I don't know everything.
Maybe I can improve.
The Word of God says to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God, according to Micah 6, 8.
And humility is something that, you know, obviously if the church has a hard time understanding that concept and the church has a hard time relaying that concept, how do we expect to show the world how to walk humbly?
Because in the world, humbleness won't get you to promotion.
Humbleness won't get you to the next level.
You have to be confident.
You have to be a little bit cocky, you know.
But we're not called to be like the world.
We're called to be set apart and different, which is walking in humility.
Now, what are some other ways we can get our hope back?
I personally think forgiveness.
I think it's sometimes in many areas, it's the heart of the issue is forgiveness.
James, you actually happen to be a little Jewish, actually.
So what do you do whenever people are chanting, Jews will not replace us, and they are chanting through the streets, they want to pretty much kill your race off?
You know, it's hard and it hits deeper than anything.
And you want to be angry, and you want to lash out.
It's like that.
But you've got to know that in the heart of it all is that they need to forgive and you need to forgive.
You need to meet in the middle at some point.
Now, it's hard to a point.
You've got to keep calling them out.
You've got to keep exposing what's wrong.
But at the same time, you've got to have forgiveness in your heart, no matter how much hard it gets.
But you have to also, as I said, also expose that.
Now, also, though, the Word of God says in Luke 17 through 4, so watch yourselves.
If your brothers or sisters sins against you, rebuke them.
And if they repent, forgive them.
Even if they sin against you seven times a day and seven times come back to you and saying, repent, I repent, you must forgive them.
Now, that's out of the word of God.
He says, he says, you know, think about it for a few days and maybe, you know, pick your choice.
He says, no, no, you must forgive them.
Now, forgiveness isn't just a, all right, you're forgiven.
Forgiveness sometimes is a process.
It's a day-by-day thing.
Oh, yes.
It's waking up in the morning and making that cognitive decision that I will forgive this person.
I will not hold a grudge.
I will not, you know, there are people that don't want people of my color, people of S's color living in the United States.
They want us exterminated.
But do I wake up every day and hate them?
No, we pray for those kind of people because we want their eyes to be open to the true love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
And if we're not able to show forgiveness, we'll never be able to show the true love of Christ.
Yeah, I think you're absolutely right.
And, you know, yesterday we had R.T. Kendall on the show, and some of what he was sharing, what your dad was sharing about forgiveness, total forgiveness, being able to let them go so that way you can be free.
So that way you're not a prisoner of your own heart, you know?
Absolutely.
Being able to free yourself by being able to truly 100% forgive those that hurt you.
Yeah.
And I think, you know, right now we need to continually be praying for one another.
Ephesians 6.18 says, praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication.
To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
Now, how do we bless someone who curses us?
I think it has a lot to do with like James had said.
It's true forgiveness.
It's true forgiveness that you can even pray for the people that have hurt you.
Someone once said that holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
Truly is.
It's really poisonous to your soul.
So like, I think an act of true forgiveness is blessing those that curse you.
According to Matthew 5, 44, it says, you have heard that it was said, love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that they may be sons of your Father in heaven.
He causes his Son to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
So it shows that God's saying, like, these are all of my children.
All of them are my children.
Some people, the people that you see that are like racist and hateful and everything, they're still children of God.
They just are misinformed.
They're ignorant.
You know what I mean?
And so a way to combat that is to make them aware of it.
It's to educate.
It's to love them through that.
It's really taking on the heart of God towards them.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Today, if you're struggling with a little bitterness in your heart, if you have hate in your heart towards another group or another race group, another just people who are really bashing you, and even another political party, today's the day that you want to make sure to get that out of your heart.
Just give it to God and start praying for those who you normally would talk bad against.
And no, that sounds like it'd be crazy, but I'm telling you, that's the only path to true forgiveness: if you're able to pray for those who persecute you.
If you're not a Christian today, I really encourage you to get in a good Bible-believing church.
If you want to call Morningtide Church, we'd be happy to pray with you and walk you through that process of enjoying the spiritual life with Jesus Christ because it is truly, there is truly nothing better than that.
And we want to encourage you to do that today.
In the meantime, we want to thank you for watching Revelation in the News today.
