Sign Events of the Times

| In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus gives the signs of the times. | |
| And he lists, actually, if you study it closely, Matthew 24 and Luke 21, put the two together. | |
| It's the same sermon recorded in two different settings, but the same sermon. | |
| There are 17 different negative signs that he gives. | |
| And it's pretty graphic and pretty clear. | |
| And when I think of the signs of the times, I think of three different categories. | |
| There's sign events. | |
| They're actual events. | |
| Then there's sign trends. | |
| And that's what we're going to talk about in the deception. | |
| And then there's cosmic signs in the sky. | |
| So again, sign events, like the nation of Israel being reborn, capturing the control of the city of Jerusalem. | |
| There's a number of sign events that when they happen, it's the event happens and it's over. | |
| I mean, it's there. | |
| There's trends that escalate over a generation. | |
| And that's the ones we're going to be looking at as well. | |
| And cosmic signs in the heavens. | |
| And there's more of those that various servants of the Lord are staring at those and asking for spiritual understanding. | |
| And, you know, a lot of us are just learning about that. | |
| But that's kind of a new one. | |
| Those three things. | |
| Now, of the signs of the times, Jesus gave a list, pretty aggressive list. | |
| The apostles gave, I don't want to say list, but they gave a number, and the Old Testament of prophets did. | |
| So when you add up the signs that Jesus said, the ones the apostles said, the ones the Old Testament prophets said, you have the events, the trends, and the cosmic ones. | |
| Then you get this whole array of about 50 things to look at. | |
| And they're signposts. | |
| And for the first time, and I'm going to get to your point. | |
| I just kind of launched off different here. | |
| But for the first time in history, almost every one of those, I'm not saying there's 50 exactly. | |
| I haven't actually counted them, but it's a list about that long. | |
| For the first time in history, almost every one of them are accelerating on a global level together for the first time in history. | |
| That is alarming and alerting. | |
| Can you share some of them? | |
| Yes. | |
| Well, the big sign event, the big one that began the divine, I mean, the divine calendar was taken off of pause and set into motion was the rebirth of the nation of Israel, 1948. | |
| I mean, that was the massive one that, because when you read the Old Testament prophecies and they describe the scenario related to the generation the Lord returns, Israel is always a nation. | |

No Nation Ever Recovered Its Identity After 40 Years

| And so for 2,000 years since 70 AD, because most of you know, in 70 AD, Israel was driven out of the land and ceased to be a nation. | |
| So 70 AD, 200 AD, 400 AD, 1200 AD, 1800 AD, 19, the theologians through church history said, well, that's got to be figurative because Israel's not in the land. | |
| So these prophecies can't really be literal. | |
| Then suddenly in one day, in 1948 in May, Israel became a nation, born in a day. | |
| And for 2,000 years, the church theologians kind of couldn't figure out the prophecies because Israel wasn't in the land. | |
| And now they're in the land. | |
| The divine clock is taken off of pause and it's running, I think, since 1948. | |
| We're in that generation. | |
| I believe we are. | |
| We're in the coming of the Lord's time, people. | |
| It's there. | |
| This piece, this is the most important one, don't you think? | |
| It's the one I'm on. | |
| Because there's no nation in history has ever been out of its homeland for 40 years and ever recovered its identity. | |
| No one in history ever has a nation been out of its homeland for 40 years, recovered its national identity and its ancient language. | |
| Never in its a historical miracle unprecedented in the human history. | |
