New Ways of Doing Old Things
00:03:40
|
|
| Christian people should be the most creative, ingenious people on the planet. | |
| The Creator lives inside of us, and we ought to be filled with creativity. | |
| Here's your prophetic word. | |
| God says, tell the people, I am releasing new ways of doing old things. | |
| Anything that's been done once, there is a better way to do it. | |
| Mark it down. | |
| Now, those of you that have this entrepreneurial thing, God says, I am releasing new ways of doing old things. | |
| Whatever's been done once, God can give you a new twist to it, a deeper insight to it, and you'll be able to see a very lucrative thing take place. | |
| But God wants to show himself very creative with his people. | |
| There's a wonderful, wonderful promise in the Bible. | |
| The Bible says, the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. | |
| You say, I've heard that verse forever and ever. | |
| That's true. | |
| Here's what happened. | |
| The verse was given out, and we took off after the wealth and forgot the righteousness. | |
| So that negated us and stopped us from being qualified to get the wealth. | |
| But now we're after the righteousness, and it's going to qualify us to get the wealth. | |
| A few days ago, I went into a trance. | |
| Now, I don't know what you think about trances. | |
| They're in the Bible. | |
| I'm open for any way God wants to speak to me. | |
| Trances, visions, dreams, voice to voice. | |
| Listen, I want it. | |
| If he's talking, I want to listen. | |
| Don't you? | |
| Yes. | |
| John 10, 3 said, my sheep will hear my voice. | |
| They'll follow me. | |
| And anyway, so I went into a trance, and in this trance, I'm in a big, like circus tent, maybe eight or nine times bigger than this building we're in. | |
| And people from every segment of the world was in this tent, and there's one center stage. | |
| Every eye in the tent is focused on the center stage, and there's an intense watching. | |
| There's a being in there juggling big old blue balls, and he could do it in the most mesmerizing, bewildering way like that. | |
| So I said, who is that? | |
| And what is he juggling? | |
| Just like that, the Spirit of Truth said, that is the Spirit of Babylon, and he's juggling the wealth of the world. | |
| But tell the church, I'm about to change hands with the wealth of the world. | |
| And I'm telling you guys, he gave me this verse. | |
| Listen to it. | |
| This is Proverbs, and it's Proverbs chapter 13, verse 22. | |
| Listen to what it says. | |
| A good man leaves an inheritance of moral stability and goodness to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner finds its way eventually into the hands of the righteous for whom it was laid up. | |
| You need to read that. | |
| It'll make its way back to you when your heart is to seek after the things of God. | |
| And God wants to show himself according to his name. | |
| He's El Shaddai, the God that does for us what we're incapable of doing for yourself. | |
| You've just heard Jim and him talk about impossible circumstances becoming a reality because they were plugged into El Shaddai, the God that does for us what we're incapable of doing for ourselves. | |
| One of the names of El Shaddai, the meanings of his name is the God that's more than we'll ever have need of. | |
| Aren't you glad God's not up there in heaven? | |
| Oh, I never saw that coming. | |
| He's got this whole thing figured out. | |
| I'm telling you, God's, I'm just, I'm getting so excited. | |
| God's plans for us are much bigger and brighter than we could make for ourselves. | |
| Jesus came to me once. | |
| He said, Bobby, I give you my personal permission to attempt to exaggerate what I'm about to do. | |
|
God Uses All Of Us
00:01:27
|
|
| Now, being a preacher, I said to him, I'm going to need a verse for that. | |
| He said to me, no problem. | |
| Ephesians 3, 20 and 21. | |
| That verse says, now unto him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or dare to imagine. | |
| And he does it through the power of the Holy Spirit living within us. | |
| It is God working through us to do these things. | |
| Now, listen, it looks like God could have found somebody better than us to work in, but 2 Corinthians 6, verse 1 says, laboring together with God as God's fellow workers then. | |
| God picked us to be on his ministry team. | |
| Isn't that wonderful? | |
| This is one of the lies I want to deal with while we're on this program. | |
| One of the most penetrating lies out there in the body of Christ is this right here. | |
| If you're not some kind of famous person, God won't use you. | |
| That's the furthest thing from the Bible. | |
| That's totally opposite of what the Bible teaches. | |
| 1 Corinthians 1.26. | |
| It says, brethren, you see your calling. | |
| Not very many highborn noble are called. | |
| God calls ordinary people and gives them an extraordinary anointing to pull off these deeds so he'll get the glory and not man. | |
| So listen, don't fall for that thing. | |
| Well, you're not a famous person. | |
| God won't use you. | |
| God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things so that he gets the glory. | |
| So don't fall afraid of that. | |
| God wants to use you and he wants to use you now. | |
| Wow. | |
| It's never too late with God. | |
| No. | |
| Never too late. | |
